Thread Events and History
History:
Anastasia was born a small village on the edge of a no-name little country that most didn't even know existed. One day her village was attacked and conscripted into a war between two larger forces. Anastasia was raised as a child soldier and has never known anything else. Her life was spent fighting battles for people hundreds of miles away sitting safe behind desks.
The war eventually ended with the destruction of one of the forces and kind of peace followed. Anastasia's team was disbanded. She found herself with out any orders to follow, or soldiers to fight for the first time in her life. Lost with no other skills or life to fall back on Anastasia eventually found herself recruited into underground fighting pits. Once again she found herself fighting for people sitting behind desks, but now she did it in front of a roaring crowd and their frantic bets.
Will the past come back for Anastasia? Would the war she had once been a part of come back to haunt her? Or do the dead stay dead and forgotten? Will she be forever shackled to the whims of others, fighting for their pleasure, or will Anastasia eventually find her freedom and make her own way? Who is to say?
Time Line and Summary:
Modern Training - Maki - 1,461 PL
Anastasia was with her friend Akira in South City. Akira was looking for salvageable junk while using Anastasia as cheap labor. Anastasia sensed a strong Ki approaching. She investigates the strong power level and meets Maki, who had come to the junk yard to train by lifting cars. Anastasia, intrigued by his strength, asks Maki to a sparring match.
Greatest Heights - Asuka, Blizzan - 1,461 PL
Anastasia goes to Yunzabit heights to climb mountains in a form of high altitude training. The demon Asuka is a part of the Earth Defense Agency and is flying about the norther continent on patrol. He senses Anatasia's power level and flies down to investigate. Upon meeting Anastasia he teases her about her dangerous training method, which Anastasia ignores as she continues training. The two have a minor moral disagreement that is soon interrupted by the arrival of the changeling Blizzan. Blizzan, searching to recruit members for his new group, challenges them both to a sparring match.
Crime Doesn't Pay (So they Say) - Zerori - 1,461 PL
Anastasia is travelling through South City when she is bumped into by a Majin pick pocket who steals her wallet. She catches him and confronts him about her stolen wallet, but he manages to get away. Anastasia is halted in her pursuit by Zerori. Zerori felt sympathy for the young Majin because she could identify with being a troubled kid. She pretends to be a local authority investigating the pick pocket, way laying Anastasia from chasing after the pick pocket.
Anastasia, giving up on the majin, plays along with Zerori's act until the woman gives it up, and offers to take Anastasia to lunch. Seeing as getting her wallet back was a lost cause, Anastasia agrees to Zerori's invite and the two go to a local ramen shop where they both chat and get to know each other. Zerori, unexpectedly, opens up more to Anastasia than she intended, causing the conversation to end on an awkward note.

Training Thread - Solo - 1,461 PL
There are two Drabbles in this thread
Anastasia goes to one of her pit fighting managers to gather her winnings from her latest fight. Harvey Wentz. Wentz is a sleaze bag that gets a power trip over controlling the fighting pits. He commands Anastasia to throw her next fight and she refuses. Wentz loses his temper and threatens Anastasia to follow his orders. Anastasia breaks Wentz's finger in retaliation and tells him that she quits his fighting circuit. After she leaves Wentz demands his assistant/bodyguard Fierro to put out a contract on Anastasia's head.
The next drabble features Anastasia having a casual spar with an unnamed Namekian at one of the street fights that she frequents. Anastasia loses the match against the Namekian due to the Namekian being more proficient in long range combat. They end the fight on amicable terms, and promise each other a rematch in the future.
Poachers Poaching a Namekian - Hammer, Didi, - 2,976 PL
Hammer, a Namekian, is out in the woods looking to train with his animal friend Cubby, only to find Cubby being attacked by poachers. He defends his friend but the poachers consider Hammer the better target. Hammer then gets injured by the poacher's electrical weapons. Didi, a mischievous majin, happened to witness the event and decided to step in to the fray to help Hammer with the poachers. Anastasia was also in the same woods practicing her agility training when she over hears the sounds of gunshots and investigates. She assists Didi and Hammer in intimidating the poachers.
Hammer destroys the poachers weapons which is the last straw that causes their nerve to break and they flee. Hammer thanks Didi and Anastasia for their assistance in scaring the poachers away. Didi laughs at the poacher's fear, and then makes a joke about Hammer's name, asking if he had a brother named "Nail". This triggers a sense of a forgotten memory in Hammer, as Nail was the Namekian who had originally birthed his egg before he came to earth. Anastasia offers Hammer some healing medicine but Hammer declines displaying his regenerative abilities.
Cubby and Hammer play wrestle for a bit, and Anastasia offers to spar with Hammer. Hammer accepts her challenge and the two set up a battle.

Menacing Majin - Didi - 2,976 PL
Didi, the prankster majin, goes to the world martial arts tournament grounds over night when it is empty. He covers the place in toilet paper and draws graffiti on the wall in the shape of his face. Anastasia appears and comments on Didi's artwork.
