Henchmen do not gain power level on their own. In fact the rule is as such,
(PL/HP: 15% of employer, cannot train to get stronger. Threads with them on their own will not be graded.)
So having any type training items for Dr. Tailor wouldn't serve a purpose. They will always remain at 15% of Ana's power level.

Dr. Tailor just invented it, and that's why her name is on it. But she herself has no interest in training except her mind. (As a side question. Caldo said that I could thread with Tailor on her own since she's a major henchman. Are those threads still not graded at all? Cause that'll change my plans COMPLETELY.) |

Alright, it's approved then!
You can absolutely thread with her on her own, but she gets stronger as Ana does.
Anything that she does will not be graded if she's without Ana.
Creating a secondary character might suit your plans better.
Both would be graded individually, they can still interact if need be.
Plus it wouldn't take much to get Tailor a higher PL due to the 2xp she'd gain.
