Saiyans where an enigma wrapped in a mystery to the boy. Even though their blood ran through his veins he knew next to nothing about the species, their culture or even their home world. While Opherla had told him a little the boy couldn’t help but wonder if her Earth raised origins coloured her impressions and knowledge of the species. It pained him to doubt his girlfriend like that, but he wouldn’t be satisfied until he had exhausted every avenue for information.
It was for this reason he was seeking out a particular power signature from among the myriad that where on the planet at the moment. He’d encountered this particular power once, back when Callion (urgh) had issued his warning about the coming threat. The one he was searching for was the Queen of the Saiyans, Zaks.
He wasn’t sure what kind of reception he’d get when he found her, he was just a nobody kid who had had the nerve to try and stand up to her at the meeting. Despite all the strength he’d gained since then he was still sure he was nothing in comparison to the Queen, and if Saiyans where all about strength then he was sure a weakling like him would just be ignored.
But he had to try! He just had to know more.
His attempt to reach out to Salada had clearly met with failure, though he had no idea why. All he could hope for now was that the Queen would at least humour him. Even just directing an underling to tell him what he wanted to know would be enough to satisfy him.
After some time of searching over the planet with his ki senses he finally got a hit at high altitude in a remote region. The youth had no idea what the Queen was doing, nor did he have any clue as to recent events, or historical events the Queen had been involved in except in the vaguest sense. He’d heard conflicting reports about an attack on a city, but media that was decidedly anti-Saiyan did nothing bu blame her, while the fringe pro-saiyan media mentioned something about her daughter being killed? If so, her wanting accountability, and getting really upset, made complete sense to the boy.
So, even if she had caused problems back then he was sympathetic to her reasons. He just wished no one had been hurt.
Even if the Queen had been on the ground though, there was still one thing Liek had intended to do, one way or another; offer what aid he could to the people whose blood he shared. As such he ordered the (heavily armed) Gau-la-Furia to be brought alongside the significantly smaller warship of the Saiyan Queen. The Mobile Space Base dwarfing the warship enough that the Saiyan Queen’s vessel could dock within the much larger Gau-la-Furia’s rear hanger spoke if it’s owner so wished.
After setting the Arcship’s autopilot to maintain position next to the Queen’s warship, even if it moved, the young hybrid made the several minute trip out from the bridge of the arcship to the closest airlock before flying over to the Queen’s warship. The boy had no idea if this approach was even a good idea or not, what if showing up in a massive, heavily armed ship caused some kind of panic for the Queen and her staff? He hoped this wasn’t a terrible idea…
That and he was about to officially, maybe, meet royalty.
That was kind of a big deal, right?
Thoroughly reduced to a shivering ball of nerves the boy did what his frazzled mind thought was logical thing to do, he pressed the com button on the outside of the ship and said, “Hello! Your Queenliness? Your Majesty? Highness? ..ness… uh… I’d… I’d like to talk… and make an offer…? May I come in please?”

Zaks was in the gravity room training with angry strikes at invisible opponents. Sure the Gravity machine did almost nothing for the warrior queen as she had long outgrown the current model but it was still something she used to help her even if it is just a little bit. it really only put stress on her once she had already exhausted herself. But it was a good distraction compared to what she would normally be thinking about after the leader of crimson river had attacked her. Since then she had done some digging and found out the man was a private individual... not for long though if she had anything to say about it. Athren...that was the name she had learned when she had asked around the nearby villages and was a little surprised that they all saw him as good person. Most of them had no idea why he would attack her out of the blue like he had and Zaks could not help but wonder...did she hurt some one important to him in north city.
Suddenly the ships computer let out a large warning beep alerting the Queen to a ships approach. With a deep sigh she stopped her work out and went to the command room to see what was going on. If some one dared to attack her they were in for a rude surprise as she was in low orbit. Low enough Zaks could easily survive outside the ship and be perfectly fine.. and the power level she felt was far to low to be a threat to her but... it was familiar. "" Were have i felt that before?""
It would not be long before the ship was hailed and a voice of the young nervous saiya... no earthling came over the Speakers requesting permission of all things to speak to her... about an offer. The young man she remembered seemed honest... if way to Knave for her test but Opherla seemed to like him and she was a good soul like Callion. With a deep sigh she flipped the switch slower then she would like to make sure she hit the correct button. She really needed to get the keyboard resized so she could use much more then just her figure nail to push a single button at a time.
"" You may come aboard but I am very busy... "" With that she flipped the switch and headed over to the ships showers as she had no intention of showing up to meet some kid dripping of sweat. Besides she would be done probably before he was on the ship and if not Shizo or Gemini could meet him and show him to the meeting room.
Turns out Zaks was correct and she beat him to the meeting room though from what She heard over the speakers was the ship just parked outside and he would be in any moment. She could not help but wonder what he wanted and if he was gonna inquire about the dragon balls again...well then he could see himself out with a boot in his ass.

The boy was a little started by the sight that greeted him when the airlock to the Saiyan Flagship opened, revealing a tall and battle scarred warrior. Like all Saiyans the man retained a youthful appearance, so the young hybrid couldn’t place the older man’s age at first. And at first the man seemed to look down at him with a critical eye, like the man was one twitch away from going full drill sergeant on the boy, not out of some sadistic enjoyment but some weird paternal instinct. At least, that was the impression the boy was getting.
Well, that and the man was probably wondering what this kid could probably want with the Queen to have the audacity to ask for an audience. Even if Zaks wasn’t as tradition bound as previous Saiyan Royals it was typically very uncommon for someone outside upper ranks of Saiyan society to approach the Queen first, normally she called on them to issue orders. Or, again, that was the impression Liek was getting based on his limited knowledge of the Saiyans.
Well, until the man spotted the Gau-la-Furia. That, unmistakably, got the old man’s eyes to widen, before ushering the boy inside and escorting him to where the youth would meet the Queen.
After being escorted through the ship by the older Saiyan, who the boy learned was a General in the Saiyan military and Zaks’ personal bodyguard. The boy still knew next to nothing about how Saiyan society worked, but based on his limited knowledge of warrior cultures and monarchies in fiction he could only assume that being both of those things where a big deal and a huge accomplishment! He wondered how closely the man’s rank align to that of the Fury’s Knight Lords.
Soon enough he was brought before the Queen.
Slowly the boy entered, remember the last time he’d seen the Queen, back when he was still on speaking terms with Callion, so soon after he’d set out from home. He’d come so far since then, his power with the weighted gear slowing him down matched what he could do back then without the gear! His skill and control of Furiemshinken had gone from practically nill to near total mastery, his relationship with Opherla from merely a crush to a confirmed dating pair. And all in the space of weeks.
He wasn’t the same nervous wreck he had been when he’d spoken up to her during that meeting. He’d embraced his role as the Inheritor of the Fury, raised the Gau-la-Furia, and taken on a student who was also his lover. He wasn’t the same child who was plain in over his head anymore, while he was still inexperienced and stumbling about with little idea of what he was doing he was now here as someone with the power to do more then just say things.
As he came to stand in front of the Queen he bowed respectfully of her position and began to speak, “Your Majesty, I… um...” He took a breath, “I’m Liek, a half-Saiyan raised here on Earth. But, I’m sure you knew that…” He’d had this whole speech planned out ahead of time, but once it came time to actually speak, POOF! It was gone. Nothing else to do but wing it! “I’m also the Inheritor of the Fury. I don’t know if you have heard of them, but they where a warrior race like the Saiyans, in fact the Saiyans once tried to invade them hundreds of years ago with a force of a hundred elite Saiyans for just that reason, even using the Fury homeworld’s month long full moon period to their advantage. The Saiyans lost that one.” The boy paused to let the implications of that sink in, “The Fury are gone now, but their Legacy lives on in me, as does their sense of honour.”
He held his hands out to his sides in an effort to show he was genuine, “As the Inheritor, and as someone with Saiyan blood I can’t just sit by and ignore the plight of my kindred. That’s why I’m here, I want to offer a place for the Saiyans to seek refuge.” He pulled out a small device that displayed a blue holographic projection of the Gau-la-Furia, pressing a button on the device it highlighted the internal structure of the central disk in orange as Liek explained, “I freely admit to knowing little about Saiyan culture. But given how rowdy I’d expect them to be I estimate I can house about 100,000 Saiyans, complete with adequate space for training and recreation, in this section. I could triple that for humans. However they will need to help with the renovations.”
He pressed a button on the device and the highlighted section changed to the four outer spokes of the ship, “I should be able to house a further four million Saiyans in stasis in these sections, but I you would know better then I would if Saiyans would even be willing to wait in stasis for this whole mess to be resolved… or be transported to a potential colony world.”
After a pause the boy summarised, “That’s my offer, a means to preserve the Saiyans and possibly even set up a colony where they can continue to thrive. If that’s what you, and they, want?”

Zaks watched the young man before her with interest even though it was hard to focus on him atm. His story about the furies was pointless since it was to far back for the Saiyans to even record the race to have existed. Or it was lost with the original home world. She kept her anger in check though as she remembered him as a kind young man... a little insecure and young but honest.
She hummed softly as he kept telling his story about his race and she was Glad at the end of it all that had kept her patience through her migraine. What he offered next nearly floored the Saiyan Queen as she took several moments to go over all the implications of it. her mind no longer hurt or the shock running through her suppressed it enough she didn't feel it.
"" That is...a mighty offer... I."
Zaks stopped talking as she thought it over. Did she really have a choice to Accept it? it was mostly the weaker Saiyans that would have escaped Vegeta and come to earth. They would not understand how much humans hated them and with the recent blackmail from ABAS she knew she couldn't trust them. But with this she could escape the trap hell she could even hide the people on the space station. but training Facilities.... she doubted he understood what kind of space they needed but... she could help with that.
Standing up she walked over until she stood in front of him her eyes narrowed as she tried to judge him correctly. her people needed this and she didn't want to jump to the first thing and doom them. The young man was still an earthling. "" Will Accept.... I will also turn over my Gravity chamber for the time being... As long as any Saiyan can use it.""
Looking down at him a sad smile appeared on her lips as she pushed a troubling thought aside. She doubted there would be 100,000 Saiyans left alive but didn't want to voice that out loud. "" What Can i offer you in repayment? I refuse to have a debt.. Even i have some pride despite what people think about me.

While he was recounting the story of the Fury he was a little frightened by the body language of the Saiyan Queen, and he couldn’t help but wonder if telling her all that was a massive mistake. Was it remembered differently by the Saiyans? Was the failed invasion of the Fury homeworld by the elite Saiyans a sore point in Saiyan history? Was it remembered at all? Or was the mess that was present politics just that much of a headache for the Queen? The boy had no idea, but he sincerely hoped he hadn’t caused offence.
As the massive woman approached the boy straightened out of reflex, a bead of sweat making it’s way down his cheek as he waited nervously. He didn’t want any action of his to be misinterpreted as hostility so instead he just kind of quivered on the spot.
But offence or not the Queen ended up accepting his offer, and even proposed transferring her gravity chamber over, bringing a relieved smile to the boy’s face. Even the Queen’s caveat that the Saiyans having access to the gravity chamber fit well within the boy’s plans, prompting him to nod without hesitation, “Oh course, your Highness.” He had the hologram highlight part of the ship, within the central disk, just behind the forward spoke, indicating a large circular room, “This is the largest training room on the ship at the moment. It’s seven hundred meters across and four hundred high. It should have plenty of room for a few people to train at a time, and be suitable for the gravity chamber.” He was still shivering a little, but the Queen’s willingness to accept his offer had boosted his confidence.
He hadn’t actually thought passed making the offer, and the offer was being made purely out of the goodness of his heart, so the idea of a reward had never occurred to the boy. Realisation that he’d failed to even consider the possibility of a reward being offered caused the boy to blush and laugh nervously. Scratching the back of his head the boy admitted as much, “I… uh… I never thought about a reward, honestly. I just want help…” He smiled sadly before looking down, “Though… thinking about it. I suppose I would like knowledge? I never got a chance to learn anything about the Saiyans from my father… so some knowledge of some kind would be nice. Anything you’re willing to share...”

The Saiyan queen looked over the readouts Liek showed her and nodded her head in agreement. That area would be perfect for the Gravity chamber and with some remodeling it could be made be a bit larger so that more people could fit. it would take a minute but that would be alright since this was a long term investment anyway.
She turned her eyes on the young boy trying to figure him out and to see if she could find any deceit in his words or actions. So far she had failed to see anything but honesty and that unnerved the Queen who had received nothing but hate from earthlings. Be it slander of straight out lies it did not matter if you went around earth you could easily find the hatred for Saiyans. Honestly she was sure if they thought they could win a war with them they would start one. truth was they knew or at least the higher ups knew that it was Saiyans who had defended the planet and an only human force would fall. Actually humans only had heroes that stepped into the lime light when things went bad... they had no powerful standing force. ABAS was the closet thing they had and he was mind controlled to obey them.
She was surprised at his request though. Most would not ask such a simple reward for doing something like he had just did and he had done something that would be very problematic. Actually what he asked for was simple and worth for less then what he offered but Zaks didn't denied his request but only smiled. "" sure... I will have copies of the Royal library sent to your ship for all the history lessons in depth since i have copies on this ship.""
She hummed for a moment before she spoke again as she thought it out. "" Once Saiyans were strong enough to fight the gods of the universe but during that age the Almost extinct Saiyans were mostly peaceful and matter of fact lived on earth. funny or sick twist of humor they were almost wiped out by a changeling of all things."" she could not help but see the irony of it and promised herself this would be the last time the Saiyans would suffer at the hands of the arcosions. Something had needed to be done for generations and everyone... including her had ignored them. That would soon change but first get through the current crisis.
"" But they rebuilt and here we are. What Saiyans are really known for is being warriors... powerful and cruel... we have wiped out many Spcieces and worlds. Something i have been trying to push them away from doing in the coming generations. "" She spoke in a sad tone as she thought about what the saiyans had done and would still be doing if she had not come along. a traitors voice in her head said.. they might still be alive if not for her.

The more copies of a book there are the more likely it is to survive a catastrophic event. This truth was a painful lessen many and more civilisations had learned throughout history, both on Earth and in across the universe. Historians the universe over weep at the lose of the last copies of books as the knowledge and context contained within crumbled to dust and ash, lost to the ether. The Saiyan Queen’s willingness to have copies of the Royal Library sent to the Gau-la-Furia would further secure the preservation of the Saiyan heritage, even if Saiyans where not that into reading.
Then the Queen gave the boy a brief history lesson. That the Saiyans of the past where once driven to near extinction save for a few who lived on and defended the Earth. This aligned with what the youth had been told of Master Roshi’s past students who had included a Saiyan. As did the story about that same Saiyan growing to be able to challenge Gods, a story the boy had originally taken to be an exaggeration. But here was the Queen of the Saiyans recounting the same claim.
Was it really possible to achieve such power? Maybe Liek should consult with Volda and Basireous about the topic? After all, he had actual Gods on speed dial, why not take advantage of that?
Liek was saddened by the past of the Saiyans. Seeking out and destroying species and planets simply because they where strong? What was the point of it all? Was it really all they did? The boy shook his head, “So all they did was destroy senselessly? They didn’t colonise the worlds they conquered?” It was a terrible justification, but at least colonisation would have given the conquest a sense of purpose.
“I’m glad you are leading them down a different path, your Majesty.” He said sadly, “The way of the old Saiyans is self-destructive. It really was only a matter of time before someone blew them up for one reason or another. A survivor out for revenge, a preemptive strike out of fear of invasion, or any number of other reasons.”
“Super Saiyan… yeah, I’ve heard of that.” Liek sighed, “That Callion guy tried to force me to transform into one by grabbing my grandmother from the afterlife and threatening to erase her from existence.” It was pretty clear that the boy was still very sour about the man’s actions, “Bluff or not… all it did was draw out my Inner Demon.”
Then a thought crossed his mind, “Your Majesty, Saiyans are known for something else! The Oozaru!” The boy remembered what it felt like to transform into that massive beast, having to lash down the savage instincts that came with it, but also the potential for the massive form. Looking up at the Queen with genuine curiosity he asked, “I’ve managed to figure out how to control the form, but I can’t help but wonder if there is a way to control when a Saiyan transforms into an Oozaru?”

Zaks had to smile how the hybrid tried to figure out a reason for the Saiyans destroying other races for there planets. she briefly wondered if he was trying to justify it to himself. She could understand that to an extent as she was a half breed herself and she never liked to think about how that side of her was Evil. Even more so as she found out more about her hidden side and just how cruel it was as well.
"" Unfortunely... some times that was exactly it. Saiyans by nature are fighters and love to fight a challenge but sometimes.. no.. the way Saiyans were raised Before me also gave them no respect for other life."" tilting her head to the side her eyes narrowed"" So in order to free themselves of there boredom they destroyed anything to try and force a challenge fron the races they destroyed. Some times they would sell the planets... but not always."" It was the sad truth of it but the Saiyans as a whole...were a very Evil race. It didn't matter that some were pinnacles of kindness.
"" That was the reason i bult the arena on Vegeta to give them something to challenge themselves with. Also invited aliens to come fight us in order to test there own skills."" Zaks had been trying to curb the destructive trendices of the Saiyans and hated how much it was failing. No that was not it. It was a good idea but without her there to manage it the warriors were not using it correctly. She would need to fix that soon.
"" HMMM "" Zaks hummed as she heard about Callions actions and how eerily similar it had been with her and Opherlia. She could not but help but rub the back of her neck slightly as she tried to hide a slight embarrassment that showed. "" Super Saiyan... is very powerful but it requires well rage honestly for most people. A need so Great you cant Control it and you have to be strong enough for it."" Turning her head slightly she realized for the first time that her own transformation had been in desperate need but not Rage. It would be something she would have to look into later. Why was she different.
Suddenly her attention was snapped back to the boy before her. He was telling her that he had mastered his great Ape form and that kinda stunned her. For the Queen it was a foreign ability despite having a tail. but to master it on earth was astonishing as the moon only came once a month! "" You mastered it? do you know how many Saiyans fail to master that form?"" She let the question hang in the air with a grin on her face showing her approval.
His next question made her grin even bigger as he wondered aloud about how the Saiyans could possibley turn into the great ape at will. "" hmmm Well we already can do that you know?"" Raising her hand before she pulled up an almost complete Powerball leaving just a little bit of it out. after all she did not want him transforming inside the ship! did not matter that She had mastered the power to aid others in controlling there great ape forms. "" Its passed down by the Elites of the Saiyans and it creates false moonlight that will still trigger the transformation. Even half breeds like me And a wolf hybrid are affected by this when i actually complete it.

It truly was a shame that the Saiyan people where so brutal and simpleminded as a culture before Zaks. They prided themselves on being a warrior race, at least that was the impression he’d gotten from Salada, yet they wasted that potential by being the most savage and primitive form of warrior culture that could possibly exist. When the youth compared such a culture to the Fury all he could feel was disappointment.
“That’s just…” The boy shook his head, “It’s sad, honestly. Saiyans have so much potential! A warrior culture can be so much more then brutality and conquest.” He balled his fists, “The Fury where a warrior culture, but they never flaunted their strength or used it for conquest! Their empire thrived on having client races joining willingly to benefit from their protection! They conducted themselves with honour and dignity!” The boy looked at the much larger and older woman and said with determination, “I’m sure the Saiyans could be the same, they just need the right guidance, and time to break old habits!” He smiled at Zaks and added, “And I feel confident in saying you are probably that leadership, your Majesty!”
“If it needs rage or not… Callion is a jerk.” The boy replied with a pout, “I’ll find my own road to Super Saiyan, even if it’s just to spite the prick!”
“Wait? So it’s not a common thing?” The boy asked curiously about the control of the Oozaru, “I didn’t really have much to work with when I managed it. My old man didn’t exactly leave a lot of information behind and I really only knew it was possible.” Thinking back on the solution he’d found before explaining, “I don’t know about anyone else, but I spent days ahead of time practising a meditation then used that while transforming to, metaphorically, cage the Beast in my mind.”
As the Queen demonstrated the incomplete version of Power Ball the boy focused entirely on her movements and the way he felt her ki flowing. The technique was clearly incomplete, obviously as a precaution. He couldn’t blame Zaks one bit, after all no one wanted a giant monkey breaking out inside a warship. Not if you wanted it to keep flying. Even still, even in this incomplete form he could feel the Blutz Wave radiation from the ball, not nearly enough to cause a transformation, but enough to notice. And while he didn’t know the name of the radiation the sensation was familiar to him.
“Amazing!” He admired with a smile.
Holding out his own hand he looked from the demonstration and muttered, “So if I…” He channelled his own ki and tried to copy what he’d sensed. At first nothing happened, then there was a spark and a pop, then a moment of nothing as Liek brought his other hand to his chin as he thought. “Maybe if I…” He tried again and a small ball of light formed in his hand, radiating faint lunar light, smaller then Zaks’ but still clearly a something on the road to becoming a Power Ball.

Zaks was a little flattered that the young man before her actually liked how she was trying to change the Saiyan race from what they were and didn't judge her solely on what happened on north city. It had been a sore point for the Queen ever since that day and it was refreshing to know that some one out there that wasn't her servant didn't judge only on that fact. Now if she could only live up to his expectations then she might be truly proud.
""You know you should probably forgive Callion."" She had a small smile on her face and she hummed to herself for a second before her face let it slip that she had been thinking of the time she had met the Saiyan monk. "" Do not get me wrong he made a bad mistake... I have made my share as well. I forced a half Saiyan wolf girl to transform myself."" She was kind of spooked at the similarities between herself and Callion and could not help but wonder if it was a Saiyan thing. If she had to guess then yeah she believed it was since they were kind a a pushy warlike people.
"" Opherla and i are friends now but... well ..all i am trying to say sometimes what seems like a good idea isn't."" She could say that easily after what happened with north city and all over her attempts to fight liari. "" I Used to hate male's Saiyan men in particular. Callion...well lets just say he set me straight."" She hesitated a moment before she spoke is a slightly embarrassed tone. "" Sorta""
It was true she had a deep dislike for men in general after her children's father straight up abandoned them. Although now that some time had past she no longer held the hatred close to her heart thanks to the Saiyan monk. An idle thought crossed her head as the two of them kept there conversation going. Did she start only looking at female partners after that? Actually now that she thought about it she had stopped looking period and done everything but swear off romance before Tanya ran across her. And she did not regret it at all.
Bringing her attention back to Liek Zaks was amazed on his attempts at the power ball and how close he was getting it. "" Hey that's pretty good"" Of course she could see were he was getting it wrong but it was still amazing how close he was coming with it already. Reaching out with both her hands she covered his own and the incomplete power ball."" Feel... Don't look. Feel my Ki and let it Guide yours...as a Saiyan you should be able to feel the blutz waves.""
Zaks made sure her hands Covered his completely not allowing any of the light to escape there joined hands before she focused on his Powerball. Her own Ki infused with his but still managed to keep it self Separate from his but not the power ball. While it would be impossible to see it with there eyes there was actually two power balls directly on each other both hold each other together even as they clashed with one another. "" The moonlight that is normally triggering blutz waves originally comes from the Nearby sun.""
She would let him think about that for a minute and kept trying to guide him silently as her Ki guided with his and slowly but sure between he two opposing forces blutz waves started to form in there hands unable to escape there combined grip. She let him feel it for a moment or two before she started to speak again. "" The sunlight hits the moon and forever changes it form into moonlight and it gives off blutz waves. Now do the same thing with your Ki... Two separate forces clashing to create it...Blutz waves could be called the conflict of light""
Zaks was not sure how that exactly worked but the principle was the same as it allowed the creation in her hands when she formed the two opposing Ki's to simulate the light of the sun smashing into a another form or KI. That conflict released the blutz waves and it was also the reason that Powerball's eventually fell apart."" Can you feel it now?""

The suggestion that he should forgive Callion made the boy scowl. While it was technically true that Callion had already apologised, the words had come across as insincere for the reasons that Liek couldn’t forgive the man, “Not until he apologises properly. Not just for the act, but the for the half-assed justifications behind it.” Was it really possible to claim to have made an apology while still claiming the actions where justified? Liek didn’t think so. He considered that kind of thinking two-faced and dishonourable.
Learning that Zaks and his girlfriend had had such a similar interaction was a surprise for the boy but given what else the Monarch had to say on the subject, and the fact Opherla hadn’t brought it up, made it clear to him that the matter was resolved already. There would be no point in him getting upset on Opherla’s behalf. “I’m glad you two could resolve that, at least.” Although, he remained adamant on not forgiving Callion just yet.
“Sorta?” The boy blinked, not quite sure what to think of that qualifying statement before a thought occurred, “So you prefer girls? But how are you supposed to have heirs without a guy?” He asked innocently. Try as he might, that math just didn’t add up in his brain. Sure, he understood the idea of people of the same sex having romantic relationships, but reconciling that with the duty of royalty to produce heirs just didn’t compute.
As Zaks started to walk him through forming a Power Ball he closed his eyes and blocked out unnecessary senses, focusing entirely on her voice and the flow of ki. As he did so he could feel her ki flowing alongside his own, nudging and guiding, and at the same time he could feel the familiar pulsing of the blutz waves, just as he did under the full moon.
Though not strong enough to trigger his transformation.
As she instructed he kept his focused and observed with his ki senses how the opposing energies interacted and eventually mixed, before collapsing since having a fully formed Power Ball on the ship was a bad idea. Her description bounced around in his head, sunlight bouncing off the moon to become moonlight, and creating blutz waves. Two separate forces clashing, resulting in blutz waves. It kind of reminded him of how he used ki to trigger Energy Materialisation.
...What if…?
The boy concentrated on forming another Power Ball, remembering what he’d felt Zaks’ ki do just a moment earlier and using it as a guide. Within moments he had a fully formed Power Ball ready to launch… but then he went further. The energies within the Ball started to poke and probe at seemingly nothing until he felt it and pushed with both energies. Suddenly the ball took on a green tint as Orgone energy started trickling into the ball, not huge amounts, but enough that if he unleashed it the Orgone would fuel the Power Ball for longer then normal.
Liek smiled ever so slightly, “Orgone even works for this? Heh… Looks like there are horizons yet to be explored with Furiemshinken…”
And in that moment ideas occurred to the boy. With Orgone’s unique properties he could do a lot of things, and in the case of the Power Ball couldn’t he use Orgone to alter the flow of the blutz waves? What if he made a Power Ball that only worked on who he wanted it to? Or even just himself? Or, what if he explored another path? What if he tried to recreate that energy he felt whenever there was an eclipse with the Power Ball? If it could create blutz waves from the two energies conflicting, wouldn’t making them work in tandem recreate the effect an eclipse had on him?

Zaks shook her head softly at his beliefs on how he should handle Callion and if she was not smiling softly it would easily look as if she was judging him. Zaks had spent enough time with humans and other races to realize that some things like respect were a big deal. It was true that respect in Saiyan culture was also a big deal but there many differences about that respect. Saiyans respected power and directness in there life. All Respect and kindness for the most part was earned rather then freely given. Zaks had slowly come to learn the same respect that other species had thanks to her tribe and dealings with the people of earth. At the same time she admired the way Saiyans did things as well when it was respect and not arrogance.
"" I am as well... Opherla is one of the few people that showed me kindness.. it may sound strange but in my 250 years of life i have not been shown all that much kindness. Not that were being cruel... but it was expected for most of my life that i was different then those around me. This didn't change when i became the Queen of Vegeta either. Actually becoming the Queen made me a target of a lot of hate as well.. something i was also not used to. "" Zaks Kept the conversation mellow despite the tone of conversation. Her smile showed that she wasn't bothered by what she was talking about or at least had come to term with it.
Of course the smile on Zaks face evaporated at the young mans next response instead turning into a shocked Expression as she almost dropped her half of the Powerball. Zaks tried to think of a reply to give the young man before deciding on the truth even if she was gonna leave some of it out. "" Well... Two things... I already have two Children. May and Ren Luna."" Zaks did not want to tell him that they were from a one night stand and honestly the only man she had ever been with. After all who would believe that she had never been with a man for over 2 and half hundred years?"" Much less that she couldn't even remember who it was? "" There father disappeared one day and well i was left to raise them since"". She could remember that the man rejected the children but not even the conversation and as far as she was concerned if he didn't want to be in there life he didn't have to be."" And secondly... I am not even sure i can get old and die...""
Zaks tried not to think about that all that much as she was not sure how old she would become. Better yet could become with the way she was born. She did not know if that trait would be passed down to her children or not and hoped that was the case. But what thing she knew she could not fully Avoid was Tanya. Tanya would grow old and die one day regardless of what she did. Regardless she would steer away from that topic for now.
As she slowly tapered off her speech as watched the young man begin to experiment with a secondary power ball. Her eyes widening in surprise as he pour Mayko power into it or something very similar to it. It reminded her of what she did with her own well of power and wondered if his was fundamentally different or did he do something to it. for herself it was the later and could not help herself to try to understand it. turning her head she heard him call it Orgone. Her own Power was Mayko purified with KI and blutz waves of all things to create Mana as she called it. It was called the Gift of goddess by the people of her tribe and it had got them through there entire existence that they could remember.
"" That is a very strange power there... it feels very similar to my own"" Zaks took one hand from the shared power and place her other alongside his before creating her own Power ball infused with what she called mana. "" But still different. Orgone? were does that come from if you don't mind me asking?""

The boy could only feel bad for the old Queen, though he was surprised to hear how old she was. To live so long and experience so little kindness was just… terrible. The only things keeping him from dropping dissolving his power ball and wrapping the woman in a hug was the sense of etiquette that had been drilled into him by his grandmother. Randomly hugging a Queen was highly inappropriate, unless they where in private, especially so when they didn’t know each other too well.
But he could understand, ever since he’d left his childhood home and actually started meeting people there where precious few who had shown the youth even a small amount of kindness. “I can’t say I’ve experienced that much either, though we are dealing with different amounts of time. Everyone looking at me with scorn as I explored the world for the first time… just because of my tail…” He frowned a little before smiling, “But Opherla was there for me too! She’s great isn’t she! I’m so lucky to have her for a girlfriend!” He said with a blush.
The boy nodded along as it was explained that the Queen was already a mother of two. Though he did wonder why she would stop at just two? Personally the boy wanted a big family, the bigger the better! Enough to crew the entire Gau-la-Furia with just his offspring!
But the mention of the father, “That jerk! Talk about a scumbag! That’s only slightly better then a ‘Pump ‘n Dump!” He said, oblivious to the fact that that is exactly the scenario that had happened as far as the Queen could remember, “I swear to you, Your Majesty, that on my Honour as a Fury I will never do that to my own children!”
“I’m…” Liek started to reply as Zaks’ spoke of how long she may live, “I’m in much the same boat…” For a moment his eyes turned crimson and lines ran down from the ends of his eyes down to his jawline, he held the form for a moment before releasing it and returning to normal, “I’m half demon. So it’s anyone’s guess how long I’ll live…” All he knew for certain was that his Saiyan side would keep him youthful for most of his life.
“Orgone is…” Liek pondered how to best to explain the unique power and technique he’d learned from the Fury. After a moment he said, “It’s best if I just show you…” First he dismissed the power ball before channelling fresh ki into his hand and invoking, “Furiemshinken: Energy Materialisation!” suddenly the ki surged and extended from his hand across his body before crystallising into a crude looking sword. After a moment he spoke, “Orgone is a kind of life energy, like ki and yet different, flowing between all living things, though especially strong among things that aren’t plants.”
He let the sword crumble to dust before continuing, “To make a long story short, access to it was gifted to the Fury in ancient times. With the Fury extinct I’m one of the last people alive who know how to call on it, though I’ve been teaching Opherla recently too.” He smiled at the Queen before adding, “I can call on another energy too, though until recently I’ve been adverse to it…”
“Which got me to thinking about something I want to try with this Power Ball technique…” He held out his hand again and concentrated, calling up the differing energies that made up the power ball. First he formed a normal power ball, letting the energies mix and generate moonlight and blutz waves. But then he began to shift the energies and how they interacted, experimenting with the alignment and polarities of the energies until he felt it, at first just a trickle, then as he pushed further he felt the desired reaction take root. The Power Ball shifted from silvery white to black with red light radiating from it.
And both Liek and Zaks could feel the unmistakable touch of Makyo energy radiating from the artificial eclipse clutched in the boy’s hand.
“This…” The boy muttered, “I can’t believe I did it… but this is that power... I don’t know it’s name, but I’ve felt it every time I’ve seen an eclipse… and the eclipse is just the moon in front of the sun and light bending around it, right?” He looked down at the Makyo Power Ball in his hand, “Same principle as the Power Ball...”

Zaks slightly frowned at Lieks statement and could remember once hating her one night stand as well. But Callion helped her get over it with his level head. But also time had allowed her a perspective once the anger simmered down enough for her to be able to see a different view point as well. "" Sorry I was not clear about my Kids father... I say his disappeared but there is more to it then that. "" Running a hand through hair in a nervous tick She kept talking"" My Kids father has disappeared from our memories even.. we know something else to do with it like an outside influence forced us to forget him. We know of him and that he existed... And that he didn't believe the kids to be his but.. well "" Zaks stopped speaking for a moment done with the topic.
Luckily Liek brought a change in topic when he spoke of the Furiemshinken. It really was a fascinating thing to talk about and for Zaks it was the Same as talking about magic. As she listened to him speak on it she was almost sure it was another form of magic but it was still very different then here own. The Major difference she could see was her own power was a conversation while Furiemshinken seemed to be something that was already there. Her own mana nothing more then a condensed and purified form of KI that everyone had in there own bodies. Regardless it was exciting to listen to him explain it and she could not help but grin at the young man before her.
"" To think most Fury could use it is Exciting to me.. I wonder would they could do with it. Most races that have a rare talent in magic or something like it are...reserved about it. Normally only some or very rare Members of there people can use it to any Degree unless you count members of the Demon species. "" Her own Species was included with the demon species and she hesitated on revealing that little bit of info though. Everyone only saw that Aspect of it and normally very little else and she did not want the young man before he to fall into that line as well. But she also did not want him to think she was accusing the fury of being a demonic race ether.
of course any reservation she had about such a reveal went out the window with the boys next trick with the power ball. "" Hmm what?"" She barely started to speak before the Change occurred and her eyes went wide. Mayko power she could feel come off the ball and it made her feel... home and stronger then she normally was. "" You said that you recently could use this new Energy? ""
With a sigh she repeated his step with her own power ball her Mayko energy swirling around her torso for a moment before traveling up her arm and into her power ball. "" This Power is called Mayko.. And every demon species has a pool of it stored up in there bodies...including titans. The titans or the original titan i should say was my father.. So as you can guess i can use the pool myself."" She looked up with a sigh "" As you could guess all the children of the titan can use it. But... well lets just say my siblings are a bunch of jerks and leave it at that. But as you can see i am a Giant but even i am considered short by my siblings."" She actually didn't mind it that much as it made her feel more normal.
"" The one thing i don't know is why that blood gets stronger during the Eclipse... the only other time i felt that feeling is when me and my child were in hell""

The boy may not have been the most experienced socially, but even he could tell the Queen was done with the topic of her children’s father. It did puzzle him how they could forget who he was so easily, or how an outside force, as they suspected, could cause such a specific form of amnesia to occur. At best he could make wild guesses about what could cause it, like the Dragon Balls, but he knew precious little about the magic orbs as it was so speculating was pointless.
“Every one of the Fury could access Orgone.” the boy explained, happy to talk about a topic so close to his heart, “Kind of like how Saiyans are naturally in tune with Ki, they are born with the innate talent and just need to train it.” he paused for a moment before continuing, “It permeated every part of their culture, from their art to their technology and especially their military.” He smiled, “The Gau-la-Furia is a prime example; the main power source is a massive Orgone Extractor that pulls the stuff right out of the Orgone Layer to power the ship. Almost all it’s systems, ranging from the lights, to the weapons to the food replicators are all powered by Orgone.” He paused again, “Even the hull and armour is synthesised from the stuff!”
The boy watched the Queen replicate his Makyo Power Ball before replying, “I’ve felt it every since I was little, but it always scared me so I’ve avoided tapping into it.” He admitted, “Especially after…” He bit his lib before continuing, “I lost control and went on a rampage I hurt and killed a lot of things I cared about and for a long time never wanted to let that power out again.” A smiled graced his face, “But Opherla helped me come to terms with a bunch of things after a shock sent me over that edge again. Now I’m working to not just control that power, but understand it.”
“Makyo, huh?” He nodded, “Thanks, I’ll remember that.” He stopped again and listened to the Queen talk about the origins of her Demonic blood. With a nod the boy replied, “Well, I’m definitely not of Titan blood. My mother is a Demon Lord in the Demon Realm… I’ve never met her, or, at least, don’t remember her. She wanted a weapon to conquer that Realm and let’s just say my Saiyan Father wasn’t exactly willing to make me… his spite and hate towards her is how I ended up on Earth.” The boy’s words carried clear distaste for both his parents, clearly his father wasn’t great either.
“Hell? So that’s another person who says they’ve died and come back.” Liek muttered. Seriously, at this point death was sounding more and more like little more then an inconvenience.
