Zaks nodded at his words and understanding easily reaching her eyes. A madman with power? It was easy to see and to some degree Zaks had dealt with it herself when she become the Queen of Vegeta. Though she was pretty sure that Lieks fury equalenvent was probably much worse then Braccus ever was. While she did not like to consider it all that often she reasoned her brother was like that as well even if he was more content to live in his hide a hole. 

Briefly she considered going to meet him again and having a family bonding moment or two. she barley suppressed a snort at the thought of that man ever giving her the time of day. Regardless it was time to focus on the moment or better yet the young man before her. Thankfully all the time spent in court with the Saiyans was paying off as she had managed to keep track of the conversation while her mind had drifted. She guessed court really did have some uses when her mind wondered so much. 

"" Light and dark? hmmm for me it was always about intent. Everything can be turned evil and everything can be used for good Right? Blind justice is a truly twisted Logic. A child who steals a loaf of bread to eat is considered the same as a man who steal a loaf of bread simple since he wants it. The child might not have the ability to work honestly for that loaf of bread while the man could."" Tilting her head to the side a slight grin on her face."" On the dark side of the coin... the Man could force the others to share the bread and everyone lives despite the man acted as a tyrant. But lets not forget.. even if he forces the the others to share it.. he is stealing or worse.""

Zaks took a second to consider her own words before shaking her head at the thought process. When she had first started to lead she was more of a justice is blind leader as everything seemed to be set in stone... but it was only later did she learn to look beyond it all to see the different shades of grey as it were. 

She saw the hesitation in the boy about his upbringing and honestly she did not blame him in the slightest. His upbringing could have been completely different if things had not turned out the way they did. But then again he already seemed to have forgot who both of his parents were. Not that she was gonna tell him that as she saw no reason to. One parent a demon noble? The other a warrior of a race that at the time of his birth was sending there children in pods to take over other worlds. But she could see whatever his upbringing had been he was a good kid and only wanted to help people. It reminded her of a lot of Opherla and speaking of which.  

""So it was Callion... I do not know the full story of his revival but... well honestly i know you dont like him but..."" She tilted her head to the side and placed one finger on her chin and looked at him with a single eye."" Callion is considered such a good guy that i believe the Gods of the after life brought him back to life. Of course I never asked him directly So i could be mistaken... speaking of good people."" The Saiyan Queen started to tap her chin as though deep in thought.

"" How do you know of Opherla? I have a big soft spot for the Girl. So does my wife for that matter so I hope I don't come across as rude but... well you speak very fondly of her.""  While her stance was relaxed her eyes held a different story seeming to trying to bore there way into him as she judged him. She didn't even try to hide the fact she was doing it her sliver eyes unflinchly stared into his.

Zaks had seen many men like The young fury in her life and honestly wished there were more like him. He was good and intelligent to book something that was not found to often. But while he brought hope to her it also brought on  a bit of sadness that she refused to let reach her face and eyes. She instead found herself Teasing the young Man with a predatory grin that spoke volumes of to come. She refused to let him see how she was worried that his youth and inexperience would get him into ...situation one day.. one day she knew was coming all to soon. That would be the true test for him to see if he could leave his world view intact... or become Jaded.

"" OH? You started to date the wolf girl did you? Hmmm"" She leaned forward bending at the waist so she was eye to eye with the young man her eyes holding a teasing glint to them. "" IF i am not mistaken... she is a bit older then you are... oh my"" Zaks words were exaggerated a bit as she teased him her head tilting slightly. "" I didn't realize you liked older women. I will have to be carful not to worry Opherla."" Zaks implications were clear even if she did not truly mean anything by her little game.  For the Queen it was just part of her age that made her want to tease the younger kids a bit. After all what she was doing to liek was nothing compared to what she planned for Opherla. 

Not that Zaks thought for a second Liek was that way but it was fun to tease a bit. Even more so to relax from all the pressure she was under recently. Standing tall again her voice went to a softer tone indicating she was done teasing at least for the moment. "" Do not worry I am only kidding. "" 

"" Although now I have another Question... Who did that Pod belong to?"" It was not important to know who it was but she did have an idle curiosity about who it was. She could find out if she really wanted to possibly by tracking locations but she could not for sure know it was. after all the Saiyans while having an objective were not set on a tight schedule.

Salada? She could not help but take notice of that name as it was some one she was already watching from the reports she had on the warrior. this was a good chance to get to know a little more about her away from expectations of how to behave in front of royalty. Tilting her head she listened to him explain the situation and she easily caught that he was trying not to lie to her. But that did not mean the young man was intending to tell her the whole story. "" Ohh? How did you do that?"" 

Tilting her head to the left she suddenly realized something else. Opherla might have let herself get a big head for a moment but she was not the sort of person to start a fight unless she was provoked. That must mean Salada in her Saiyan pride probably threw out in insult. "" Hmmm Actually i have a question or two for you if you do not mind to answer.  What was Salada like?"" Zaks fixed her eyes on Liek much like a parent questioning there child who was trying to wiggle out of telling there parent something that they did not want to tell them.

Zaks was being pushy but this was important as Zaks had yet to point a Second in command outside of Shiso and truth be told if something happened to Zaks then it would probably happen to shiso as well, The Saiyan general had sworn himself to her in a gesture of loyalty for her help in him becoming a super Saiyan. She really needed some one  to take charge if something were to happen to her and Salada had been some one she had been scouting for awhile. 

"" I Have had my eye on her for awhile... But have yet to get a good judge of her abilities and disposition. So i would like to hear about it from another party besides one of my people. After all you don't have the Bias my people would have to her. ""  looking to her left she grabbed a near by PDA and opened up a page on it ready to type.

Zaks was a little surprised by what Liek had just told her and it made her think deeply for a moment almost forgetting the world around her. It seemed like there was a lot of demon or demon blooded running around compared to what people thought. Her understanding was that the demon realm was sealed off from the normal world.  Even otherworld but that didn't seem to be the case from what she was seeing but at the moment she could not look into it. Artic had most of her attention at the moment and she for a moment had forgotten that. "" Hey Liek... I would actually love to talk to you a lot more but i  do have work i need to get back to. I am sorry to do this but You Can speak to either Gemini or General Shiso about setting up a place for the refugees and the transfer of Equipment. "" 

Zaks did feel sorry for cutting the conversation short but she had a job to do before her final battle with artic. More then likely it would be the end of the Queen regardless if the earth won the battle or not. but she had high hopes for the battle if everyone that agreed to the fight joined in the battle. Regardless Liek had done her people a huge favor taking in the reminder of the Saiyan people and making it easier for Zaks to fight and Accept her likely death. 

"" thank you for what your doing today... you have no idea how much you have helped me an the Saiyan people. May Luna watch over you Liek"" Zaks gave a small blessing in the Name of Luna her Ancestor and considered to be the Goddess of the Lunar tribe Zaks original people. A people that had mostly been killed when Vegeta had been destroyed. A simple blessing made her Remember them and a Rage burned inside of her chest as a reminder why she had to stop artic at all costs. 

Turning away Zaks waved goodbye to Liek and left to go back to her Chair that served as the command center of the ship and started to pull up reports for her to look over. While she still looked tired as hell she was at least looking... Relieved compared to what she had been before. Gemini appeared from the background almost if she had Teleported and offered her arm to Leik to take. "" Right this way and we can get the details ironed out... also... thank you... it has been trying and it has been awhile since i seen her relax."
