Post by Liek on Dec 5, 2023 7:12:22 GMT -5
An old tyrannosaurus rex and her son stood with mouths agape at the bizarre sight before them; rising from the ocean, brackish waters cascading down it’s hull like great salty waterfalls, six great spokes reaching in all directions with a great central tower in the centre. Two green rings of energy glowing haloed the central tower, while green energy was spewed by dozens of vents along the underside of the hull.
Some time earlier.
The azure eyes of a teenage boy glanced over a journal he’d uncovered while looking through the vast numbers of documents and items that his grandmother had left behind for him. His finding it hadn’t been simply random chance, rather it had been mentioned in the lengthy will his grandmother had written, but only now had the boy had the opportunity to dig it out. Flicking through the ancient pages he had learned the journal had been kept by Rudee Shiro, on of the original J Numbers. It started as just a continuation of a past journal, recounting his everyday life as as normal human high school student, but part of the way in had became the account of his meeting Liek’s grandmother and the other escaped girls, being drawn, unwillingly, into the conflict with the Fury and so forth.
The last portion of the journal, after the account of the end of the conflict, jumped in time significantly between entries. One entry recounting Rudee and Cay-luum visiting the Fury system a few years after it was due to explode, along with detailed notes about resources and items they found that survived the explosion and where to find them. Then it jumped decades, recounting the death of Galifrey of old age. Another jump and records of the passing of Carolina and Cay-luum. Then an entry written in a shakey hand, stains of tears still visible as Rudee recorded the passing of his wife, Yumi. The second to last entry detailed the location and how to enter the Arcskip the J Numbers had used as they mobile base in the Fury system ending with Rudee predicting his time was coming and how much he looked forward to seeing Yumi again. The final entry was unmistakably penned by Liek’s grandmother, messaged directly to Liek, telling him that all that belonged to the Fury is now his, to embrace the Light of Basireous and Darkness of Volda and to always walk a path true to his own heart.
The boy had sat quietly in the old home he’d grown up in, clutching the journal in his hands, and simply cried for what may have been hours, but the boy didn’t keep track. After the waves of emotion had passed he took a deep breath and reread Rudee’s last entry.
That one entry could be a major influence on the outcome of the future. With the Arcship from that entry Liek could offer options, it could be used to keep who knows how many people safe, carrying them to a new home in an emergency. Not that Liek had any idea of a planet to take people to, even having the option was more then the people of Earth had right now.
Committing the location and entry details to memory the boy set the journal aside, walked out of the wooden cottage, closed and locked the door, and then took to the skies, flying with all speed towards the eastern ocean.
After flying over the ocean near the Break Wasteland for some time the boy nosedived hard, reinforcing his lungs with ki so he could gulp down as large of a breath as possible right as he hit the water. Powering through the depths of the ocean he found his way to what would have been indistinguishable from an underwater mountain to anyone else. But with the information from the journal in mind he knew that this mountain was out of place, an arrangement of material gathered from the landscape and moulded into it’s present form. Using a ki ball for light the boy looked around, seeking the cave structure the journal mentioned.
After a few minutes searching he found it obscured by a sleeping megalodon. He entered after shooing the sleeping shark with a well placed punch to the shnoze the boy entered the cave. At the end of it he found an airlock to the ship and entered the access code. After completing the airlock procedure he entered the ship proper and finally exhaled. To his relief he found the air inside still very much breathable, just like the journal had said it would be. But it was stale, old air. Clean but uncomfortable to breath.
The instructions had been clear on what to do and the boy quickly began to follow the directions left behind. Moving with all haste the boy ran through the halls to the central engineering section. Once there he began to type away at the only active panel, one that had been running on emergency power for over half a century at this point, and began to plug in commands. A vibration ran through the ship and the boy grinned as a thrumming sound filled his ears. The great turbines began spinning and releasing a green light as the lights began to flicker to life and life support systems began to cycle the air. For the first time in nearly fifty years an Orgone Extractor was drawing energy once more.
Breathing in deeply in satisfaction the boy took in the new fresh air being pumped around the ship. After taking a moment to bask in the satisfaction of his accomplishments so far the boy casually walked out of the engineering section and started towards a nearby lift. Once inside he pressed the button that would take him to the bridge.
As much as he simply wanted to explore the ship to his hearts content, getting it fully operational was a more pressing task in the moment. Once the lift reached the bridge, with the boy leaning against the wall and resting his eyes during the trip, the youth strolled straight up to the command chair, he pressed a few buttons on the console before speaking, “System Override.” He then spoke a command phrase and authorisation code, “Register New Captain; Liek”
“Override Confirmed. Authorisation Confirmed.” A robotic voice replied, “Compiling new Captain Bio-signature. Designation: Liek.” Panels opened on the ceiling and four turrets emerged and began shining a light on the boy. After a moment they stopped and the computer said, “Registration Complete. Welcome Aboard, Captain Liek. Captain on Deck!”
With a smile the boy sat in the command chair and leaned back. The leather fabric was soothing to his touch and the cushioning was just the right balance between soft and firm to provide comfort without the risk of getting stuck. He smiled as he relaxed for a moment before ordering, “Computer, set system to single operator mode and prepare for lift off.”
“Aye. Captain.” The monotone voice replied and systems all over the bridge and ship began to come to life. Screens began to spew out a torrent of information even as the levers and dials began to move without anyone touching them. At Liek’s chair the opened up to allow a stick and a lever to rise from the arm rests as pedals emerged and unfolded from under the chair. Three panels moved up to his front and sides while the grey metal of the bridge’s walls shimmered and turned into a live display of the ocean depths around the ship.
“Let’s do this!” Liek grinned as he gripped the controls in front of him, “Gau-la-Furia! Lift off!”
Pushing down the pedal one of the panels helpfully told him was the one to make the ship go ‘up’ triggered the thrusters on the underside of the vessel to all fire at once sending a shockwave across the ocean floor. Easing off a little the boy found the sweat spot where the ship still began to rise without destroying everything around it. Every marine animal capable of locomotion was already fleeing in every direction as the ship began to rise from the ocean floor, the fake mountain built around the central tower gave away. The vibrations tearing it away from the hull, and sending the rocks and silt tumbling over the side.
It rise was far from quick, taking hours, but it did eventually break the surface. Much to the shock of two watching dinosaurs. Over the next hour it continued to rise at a sedate pace, it’s left off controlled and intentional, the slow elevation avoiding an accidental tsunami that may devastate the shoreline. Even so the wild waves the ship churned up send the spectating dinosaurs running further inland.
Naturally, such a massive vessel emerging from the beneath the waves couldn’t go unnoticed. Which only left the question of who, if anyone would arrive before he could get this thing into orbit?

The Break Wasteland. One of Opherla's most commonly visited areas to train, and a place where she could practice her techniques and abilities without anyone interrupting her from doing so. She could also destroy things here and nobody would give a rip about it, as Opherla was preparing herself to learn new moves to help her in battles ahead, taking a deep breath as she was finally ready to begin on a crucial moment of her training... learning an epic technique like some of her friends had, and using it to help her in the future against her enemies. She was still in her Mastered Fury form, brown hair flowing and lunar eyes gazing across the Wasteland as she was mentally preparing just what attack she might do. The Kamehameha... such a well known technique, but by itself, it just... didn't feel unique to Opherla even though she might make a variant of it. She needed to make it her own, make it an attack that would truly strike down her opponents and be called her own attack, even if the Kamehameha was part of its use.
She thought back to her Ryunotsume, a rapid assault on her foe with her claws, a fierce attack it was for certain, as Opherla wondered if she could maybe use that to her advantage in making her own, unique Ultimate Technique. She just needed to focus on a scenario that might make her use it, a situation where someone was in dire danger... like maybe Terra, or Serena, maybe even Zaks' daughter May.... Or... Or even...
Liek. The minute Opherla imagined Liek being in distress, a spark ignited in her heart, and her eyes. That was the inspiration. That was what she needed to look at the giant mountain in front of her, the imaginary force that was about to harm Liek really bad, and Opherla was ready to rip and tear it to shreds now! Her aura flared even with the weighted clothes on as she roared, before charging in right at the rocky formation with a mighty yell! "AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Opherla yelled as she charged, feeling her spirit will her on to protect Liek from this imaginary mountain sized foe!
Her Ultimate Technique would begin with a relentless clawed assault on the mountain formation, as there were ki marks left behind where Opherla was slashing, showing just the sheer power of how hard Opherla was cutting into the mountain. Again and again she slashed and cut into the mountain, intending to rend it to bits with her claws, before finally she shot back, almost to the point it looked like she teleported, before she cupped her hands together for an all too familiar attack. Just like the time she learned her first Kamehameha, thoughts ran through her mind as she did this.
"Ka...." Opherla began to yell, as she remembered what had happened recently. What she had done to Salada, what she had done to Liek indirectly to make him lose her trust, what she had done to Zaks for assaulting her own diplomat... Opherla was thankful Zaks could overlook the Lykoi's mistake and move on with it, as Opherla was praying she would do. Opherla thought about Callion's demand, to become stronger, to get the Dragon Balls. With the dragon radar in her hands, Opherla was definitely prepared to search for the Dragon Balls when she wasn't training. All of these, they drove her to be a better person. To be better... Opherla could choose to be better, and she would choose to be better!
"Me..." Opherla yelled, as the thoughts of her possible futures played in her mind, as she was thinking about all the possibilities... it was good to be hopeful of all those good futures, which was why she had to train so that she could make all of those futures happen, not all at once, but make them all a definite possibility!
"Ha..." Opherla yelled, the beam growing larger as she thought about Athren... He very well may know what she did to Salada. Knowing him, he likely ditched her as a student, but Opherla didn't mind that, there was plenty of training she had done and could do on her own. If Athren ever told her face to face, she'd tell him thank you. Why? Because Opherla believed she already graduated and moved on, after Athren had knocked her completely out during their sparring session.
"Me....!!!" Opherla roared. The attack was nearing its completion, and all the thoughts coalesced into the attack. This was Opherla's declaration of making a future of jope and peace for everyone to live in! And no one was going to get in the way of that! NO ONE!
"HA!!!!!!" Opherla yelled, firing the Kamehameha into the mountain formation, as the entire formation cracked underneath the pressure from the beam of energy, but even after the long Kamehameha finished, it still stood, defiantly! As if it was going to deny Opherla a victory!
"YOU WON'T STOP ME!!!! HAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Opherla yelled as she suddenly was coated in red lunar energy... and dive kicked right THROUGH the mountain with the ki enhanced dive kick, as she stylishly landed behind the attack.... and soon after she did that, the mountain behind her exploded in a red explosion of ki energy, bringing it down at long last, as Opherla smiled and nodded. Yes, that was a perfect Ultimate Technique. The Lycanshoto Kamehameha. A perfect fit for someone like Opherla.
-Music Ends Here-
As her attack finished, however, she suddenly heard the sound of... engines? All the way out here? It sounded like a war ship of some kind! Was Earth being invaded!? Was there someone attacking Earth while Opherla was out here making her own unique technique!? Bad Opherla, bad! You should have been paying more attention!
"Son of a... alright, guess it's time to put my new technique to good use!" Opherla remarked, as she dashed off towards the sound of the engines. As she did so, however, she suddenly felt a familiar power level as she got closer and closer to the ship... wait a second... was that... LIEK!? What was Liek doing all the way out here? Was he trying to train or something? Why was he in a ship!? Opherla needed the answers, and she needed them now. Soon stopping when she saw the massive ship that was dubbed the Gau-la-Furia, her eyes widened and her jaw hung open. This thing... it was... HUGE! Massive! Incredible! And... was... Liek piloting that thing!? This was amazing! This was absolutely amazing! Opherla HAD to know more, she HAD to see Liek now! Flying laps around the Gau-la-Furia to try and find Liek, she finally managed to locate him in the cockpit as she stopped, floating in front of the ship as she smiled while looking inside, waving in a friendly manner to Liek. She didn't know if he could hear her, so she would try and give him hand signals to allow her to come in and see him. It was clear she was definitely interested in this massive vessel he was piloting, for sure!

Oh, Terra. What could you be doing all the way out here?
It wasn't often that the little pink girl ventured from the cities! She had to run REALLY FAST and REALLY FAR to get over the oceans when she really wanted to move about and even then, the City had all kinds of fun things to do! Eat ice cream... Talk to funny-looking people, play tickle-ball with a passing, abiding stranger... It was all good fun! ...But sometimes, Terra thought of her Auntie. She hadn't seen Auntie Ayu, not in a long time... Momma had told her she was busy, ALWAYS suuuuuper busy with her job up in the sky. Every so often, when she was cloud-gazing, the little girl wondered just what her Auntie was doing up there... Was she the one who made it rain some days to give the plants something to drink? Was she the one who kicked up winds to help the plants spread their seeds? Was she the one who made the skies and clear and pretty as this one so the plants could all eat?
Terra liked to think that was the case. It made her smile. Whatever Ayu was doing, Terra missed her... She wanted so badly to show off just how strong she had become, all the things she could do with her ki and magic! She wanted so much to make her proud! ...So that's what she was doing out here! If she couldn't show Ayu everything she'd accomplished right away, she'd make sure her Auntie knew EXACTLY what she was doing when she came down from... wherever she was! Terra had brought with her a plastic watering can, a small bag of seeds, and a little bitty lunch-box, the former two hanging from each hand and the latter tucked under her arm! As the funny dinosaurs and other large animals milled about around her, their big, stompy feet causing the ground to tremble lightly, the little girl sat herself right down in a large barren patch of land... and started poking holes in the dirt! One by one, as evenly spaced as the little Majin were able, Terra created small little rows of shallow indents reaching from one side to the other! She hummed a little ditty, a little upbeat tune for her to poke holes into the kinda-tough earth before her!
With light change of pitch, taking on a lighter, happier tone, Terra would plop down her bag of seeds and begin taking fingerfuls! Humming along happily, she started planting the seeds, allowing a few to dribble into one hole before moving onto the next! Once that was all good and done, Terra would take her watering can and lightly spritz each group of holes with a spray of water until ground was dark and soft! In just half an hour, Terra had completely seeded a large patch of barren rock! Grinning, proud of herself, the little Majin would take her stuff and scoot it aside, resting it in the rougher mountain grasses! She would then crouch down slightly, balling her little fists up at chest-level, quivering... as she focused...
"Nnnnnngh..." She rumbled... "GROW, GROW, GROW!" Terra would SPRING UP, shooting her hands up above her head, her palms open to the sky! In response, the softer, greener grass Terra had seeded would BLOOM up from the harsh mountain earth, some even sprouting little wild flowers like lavender and dandelion!
THIS was what Terra wanted to show her Auntie! She was gonna make the whole world GREEN by the time she came back! Her Auntie so did love her plants... She could grow them from anything! Rock, sand, even tile! It didn't matter! Terra wanted to be just like her one day... she she would start growing things from the ground! She-
"EEP!" Terra winced as the whole PLACE began to rumble! Mountains were exploding, ships were landing, the wind was HOWLING in general protest! Heck, even the behemoth dinosaurs that were wandering about stopped to GAWK at what must've seemed like the end of the world, Terra... doing the same! The little majin stared in shock at everything just... crumbling all around her, her red eyes as wide as dinner plates as she clutched her little bag of seed! ...There was no small amount of Terra that encouraged her to run away. No matter how strong she was... she was still small... Everything was still so BIG to her, ESPECIALLY BIG SCARY BOOM-BOOMS and SHIP-SHIPS! ...On the other hand, and with nobody knowing (obviously), Terra was the GREAT MAJINGIRL: SCARED OF NO ONE! ...Yeah... Scared of no-one! That's right! Terra grinned, raising her arm! It had a little panda-shaped watch upon it!
"TRANSFORM!" She declared, bringing her arm down horizontally with her chest, Terra slapping her other hand upon the watch! Suddenly, the little girl began to glow, energy encompassing her from her feet, up to the tip of her tentacle! Her outline began to change slightly until... It was revealed she had changed clothes! Terra's face was hidden (all but her lower jaw) by a big helmet, a white and pink heart stamped firmly upon the forehead! Terra's little dress was replaced with sturdy-looking white/pink battle armor with white gloves and boots covering her hands and feet! Striking a quick pose (all heroes had those) to signify completion of her transformation, Terra would BOLT OFF in the direction of the ship!
SHE was gonna save the day!
...As the little Majin got closer, the big ship only seemed to get... bigger. So much so that even the GREAT and FEARLESS MAJIGIRL... was having second thoughts. She gulped down her fears before they could truly take root, shaking her head as she imagined all the little plants and animals and stuff that could be hurt if that ship were to open up! What if BAD GUYS came out? What if mean alien bug-men from outer-space wanted to conquer the world? No... NO! She had to stop them!
By the time Terra had gotten there, someone else had jumped into the fray already! It was Opherla... and she was flitting about the ship! Terra's face brightened, a call BUILDING IN HER THROAT! SHE WANTED SO BAD TO SAY 'HI...' ...But she forced it back at the last second. No, Opherla couldn't know! Secret identities were SEEEEECREEEEET, especially from the good and nice people like Opherla! They couldn't know! Bad things ALWAYS happened when people found out! Comic books had taught her such wisdom and she wasn't about to forsake it!
"CITIZEN! HALT!" The GREAT Majigirl proclaimed, holding up her hand! "THIS PLACE NOT SAFE! STEP BACK!"

“System Status. Update.” The computer intoned with it’s monotone voice, “Preliminary scan complete. Estimated condition at 86%. Vessel has been without proper maintenance for: 82 Earth Years. Recommended action: Set Course for Imperial Shipyards for full repair and overhaul.” To accompany this speech a holographic display lit up in the bridge displaying the whole vessel. On the hologram hundreds of markers lit up with short descriptions of the faults found. Shields where offline, thrusters where at reduced output, the spinal cannon had a crack in the barrel, the cloaking system had corroded, several sections had breaches and would vent atmosphere when the ship reached orbit, but could be sealed off, and there was still old battle damage. In short the ship was not too happy about not being properly maintained in nearly a century. Since it was launched, really. The J Numbers had never really had the time to stop and fix anything.
“We can’t do that.” Liek replied, “Register the Imperial Shipyards as non-operational. Activate auto-pilot and maintain altitude.” The boy instructed the computer, the system’s confirmation of the order accompanying the retraction of the manual controls along with the armour plates around the bridge rising up, giving the boy a clear, natural view of the surrounding skies. He stood up and folded his hands behind his back, “Begin repairs as best you can, prioritise the hull breaches and armour damage.” The way Liek saw it, if he at least fixed the outside of the ship it would hold together longer when the time counted. He’d love to get it a total overhaul, but finding a facility to equipped to handle the maintenance of ship of this size, let alone origin, was not something he knew where to even begin with.
It was at that moment he felt a familiar signature approaching at the same time the ship did, “WARNING!” The ship stated, “Bogey detected!” The computer then listed the exact details of where Opherla was approaching from, her speed and altitude. “Recommend: Commencing Hostilities.”
“Negative. They’re friendly.” Liek ordered before adding, “Register her as ‘Opherla’ and grant her crew member access rights.”
“Acknowledged.” The computer confirmed.
The boy offered the girl a welcoming grin and a wave as she got his attention at the window of the bridge. She was right to assume he couldn’t hear a word she was saying, although the clear material of the windows resembled glass they where actually meter thick plates of orgone infused plasteel. Completely clear but built to take sustained micro-meteor impacts without micro-breaches.
In response to the girl’s gestures, which he assumed was her wanting to come inside he nodded and pointed to the hologram that was still showing the ship, he then started typing on one of the panels on the command chair. The hologram cleared of the damage report and zoomed in on the main tower before marking a single spot near the base, an airlock the girl could use to enter. He then pointed at the hologram before giving Opherla a thumbs up.
“WARNING!” The computer stated again, “Another bogey detected.” This time it was an unfamiliar power scooting along as ground level at high speeds. After pondering for a moment the boy gave his command.
“I want a visual.”
With the order given a screen near the front of the bridge flashed to life and displayed camera footage of the tiny Majin called Terra, in her little hero uniform. Frankly the boy thought it was adorable. With a smile the boy commanded, “Mark as Unknown, but do not fire unless fired upon. For that matter, do not automatically fire on any bogeys unless they fire first.”
“Confirmed. Altering combat protocols.”
Meanwhile, at the airlock.
When Opherla, with or without Terra in toe, entered through the airlock they would first find themselves bathed in the same bioscanning light Liek had when he was registered as the new captain. In both cases the new biometric data was stored away for identification. The data would also be available in the medical office, but that was currently unoccupied. With the scans done the computer said, “Registration Complete. Welcome Aboard, Crewman Opherla. And Guest.”
“Please follow. The flashing light.” The computer then helpfully asked as a strip of lights on the dust covered floor began to pulse along the hallway. And it wasn’t just the floor, the walls and even the ceiling of the hallway where marred by a half century worth of dust and humidity. Thankfully the air recycling system was working at optimal output so the air that greeted their lungs was fresh and clean, cleaner then the air of any Earth city at least. The bulkheads leading down other hallways where all conspicuously closed shut, clearly Liek didn't want them wandering off and getting lost.
As the two followed the lights they would see a handful of small robots scurrying around, in this particular hall most they would see where busy cleaning, some equipped with scrubbers, some holding microfiber cloth in a little hand. The ones clinging to walls or the ceiling having tiny crystals sticking their legs to the surfaces.
Eventually they would reach the lift that would take them up to the bridge, which was already programmed to take them directly there. No amount of button mashing was
The bridge was a very open design. At the very back of the room was two chairs for observers to sit in, in front of them, centrally located and over looking the rest of the bridge was the command chair that Liek sat at. Down in the lower section of the bridge, in the middle was the holographic display, on either side where three more seats meant for the Combat Information Officers. At the very front of the ship where the seats meant for the Helmsman and Navigator.
Aside from the seat occupied by Liek all the others where left empty and, judging by the layers of dust on them, had been for a very long time.
Liek rose from the chair and opened his arms wide in greeting with wide smile, “Welcome aboard the Gau-la-Furia!” he looked a little sad for a moment and placed a hand on the head rest of the command chair, “Possibly the last pieces of material evidence that the Fury ever existed.”

Opherla was more than ready to go inside the ship once Liek made gestures to do so. This ship was absolutely incredible! Astounding! Amazing! Opherla couldn't even find all the words she had racking around inside her head to describe this ship in its fullest contents! It was just... mesmerizing! Absolutely mesmerizing! Opherla couldn't wait to get inside and explore it from top to bottom. Learn about the enormous vessel, and more importantly, see Liek again. If this was his plan at his own Gravitron, Opherla had to give him props, this thing would DEFINITELY cut it! And maybe it was the perfect vessel for their future home? Opherla could most definitely dock her Space Pod inside of the giant war ship, and she was more than eager to do so if she learned she could. She soon got ready to head inside the ship...
Or at least, she WAS ready, until she felt an incoming power level approaching, as she turned to it... and her eyes widened at what she saw. A tiny little superheroine! And not just any tiny little superheroine, it was Terra! The little pink bubbly Majin girl, she finally came around to seeing Opherla again! Opherla couldn't contain her excitement! She was so happy to see her again! She heard Terra's cry out like a proper hero as Opherla couldn't help but giggle and laugh somewhat at those antics, as she soon leaned in to Terra a bit.
"Hey, listen, I'll keep your secret identity a secret, Terra." Opherla whispered to the young heroine. There was no mistaking the power level as Terra's. It was hard to not see the little Majin girl in the little outfit before Opherla. Her pink skin underneath the suit easily gave it away, despite how impressive the little hero outfit looked on the Majin girl. She wondered if Terra made it herself... or maybe someone made it for her? "That's a great costume by the way. Did you make it or did someone else make it for you? ...Ah, we can catch up later, Ter- Oh, sorry, what's your superhero name?" Opherla would ask. Once she received it, she would clear her throat. "Okay then, mighty hero! Shall we investigate this strange vessel? I know the pilot. He's opening the door for us to enter! So come on, let's go see what this is about! I can be your side kick! Is that okay?"
As Opherla and hopefully Terra entered into the large vessel, Opherla was already taken aback by the massive size of the vessel on the inside, as she couldn't help but gape her jaw in awe and look at it all. "Wow.... this... is... so... cool." Opherla remarked as she looked around.
"Registration complete. Welcome aboard, Crewman Opherla. And Guest."
"'Crewman?'" Opherla repeated out loud as she raised an eyebrow, before she suddenly realized what must have taken place. 'Liek, you sly dog... You're really trying to win me completely over aren't you? Massive ship for a Gravitron or hell, even my Saiyan Pod. Registering me as part of the crew of this vessel. Just how far are you willing to go to win my heart over for good? You seem to be really invested after all.' Opherla thought to herself as she had a smile on her face while she was thinking along that train of thought, as she found herself appreciating the lengths Liek would go to impress her. Even if it was completely unintentional. Opherla was going to bave to consider things a lot more, especially if Liek was doing so much to protect Opherla as he said he was wanting to do.
Following the blinking lights, with or without the young Majin at her side, Opherla couldn't help but admire the robots working away at maintaining the ship, cleaning it and doing maintenance here and there as the two of them walked along the lit up path towards where the lights, or possibly Liek, was guiding them to. Before long, they would arrive at the place the lights guided them to, as Opherla couldn't help but smile at seeing Liek, but noticed all the dusty chairs around him and... somehow felt a sense of sorrow well up in her heart... she wondered just what kind of people sat there in those chairs. What kind of missions they dealt with, what kind of things they did that maybe helped protect Earth, or some other planet. The construction of the entire vessel... it was immaculate, and amazing to look at... and yet, seeing the scene of the room the trio were now in, Opherla couldn't help but feel somber, and it only compiled when she heard Liek explain that this vessel was the last piece of evidence that showed the 'Furies' ever existed. Opherla didn't quite know what 'Furies' were. Liek never briefed her on what they were or how they operated. All she knew was that Liek was attached to this vessel. Deeply. And Opherla couldn't help but respect that as she somberly smiled at him.
"Liek... I can tell you're in a bit of pain and emotional turmoil right now. This... this clearly means a lot to you, doesn't it?" Opherla asked somberly as she walked up and placed a hand on Liek's shoulder. "I get it. This... is something that's attached to your past. And that only makes me want to know more and more about this vessel. Because as long as we show the world and spread the evidence that these 'Furies' you're talking about were real, and people can turn to us to learn about their history if they choose to." Opherla remarked, before she hugged Liek tightly. "I'm here for you if you need to let go of some emotions, Liek. Just let me know if you have to, okay?" Opherla asked in concern as whether or not Liek did so, after he finished or if he didn't at all, she would let go of him before turning to Terra and realizing something: She hadn't introduced yet!
"Oh! Sorry! I completely forgot to do this! *ahem* So, Liek, I'd like you to meet this fine hero that you saw outside of your space base. I know her best by her secret identity, so you have to keep it a secret too, okay?" Opherla asked Liek. "This is Terra, and she's a good friend of mine. She's getting stronger just like we are! And in a way like we are, she wants to be a hero! Like us! ...I got that right, Terra? Right?" Opherla asked for confirmation from the young Majin supergirl.

WHAT!? IMPOSSIBLE! Terra recoiled at the sudden, near INSTANT recognition Opherla exhibited towards the Majin! The Great Majingirl RECOILED from shock as if she had just been slapped, Terra's big red eyes STARING at Opherla in utter confusion behind the visor of her helmet! But... HOW COULD SHE KNOW!? Terra's design was flawless! Nobody could see her face and she wasn't wearing her normal outfit! Usually that's all it took if not LESS for people to completely overlook you... at least... that's what all the comics and T.V. shows had taught her! How... But wait... Maybe she DIDN'T AAACTUALLY KNOW! Yeah, yeah, she used her name and stuff buuut... what if... She was just bluffing? Thate was possible, right? Yeah! She saw a Majin in a hero suit and just assumed! Just like how if someone saw Spidermajin running around with his camera, they would know he was a reporter and extrapolate from there!
"I... not know... who Terra is..." The Majin mumbled struggling to get back into her hero persona. "...But she sound like nice girl! I go meet her with you when all this done! For now, tho... Why big ship suddenly come out of ocean? That not normal!" An observation of a lifetime, great Majigirl, something that would make Batmajin proud! ...But there was more to this than that. Opherla... didn't seem remotely threatened by it's presence. ODD, considering giant war-machines didn't exactly burst from the earth like cicadas that often! Did she recognize this ship? The name of it? Maybe the person PILOTING IT? ...But if Opherla liked them, it couldn't be all bad, right? As far as Terra knew, Opherla was a good person with good judgement of character! She liked people and got to know them and stuff so she would know if someone was really bad!
...Then, as the two approached the ship, it's door folded open like the maw of a great beast, a mysterious mechanical voice greeting the pair... referring to Opherla as part of the crew. AHA! She KNEW IT! The Great Majigirl did little to hide the self-satisfied smile spreading across her face, her hands shooting to her hips in a proud pose! She KNEW Opherla was a part of all this somehow! She didn't know HOW yet, beyond the ship recognizing her, but it was good to know that her detective skills were up there with the greats!
...Except, when Terra looked back at Opherla, the girl seemed just as confused as the Majin was... if slightly more enamored with the whole thing. The Great Majigirl tilted her head. Shouldn't she expect this kind of greeting if she was part of the ship's crew? She couldn't imagine that the door greeted someone when it opened only the first time! Could it be that this whole situation was more complicated than she thought? At first, the mighty hero was... hesitant to go inside. While there was no reason, beyond it's sudden, cinematic appearance, for Terra to FEAR this ship, exactly, it was still a PRETTY unknown factor. Opherla, though, was just wandering inside as if it were no biggie! ...Well... She couldn't just let Opherla go in alone! What if this was a trap!? Besides, The GREAT MAJIGIRL needed to get to the bottom of this whole thing! You know... how a hero SHOULD! ...So she followed, Terra doing everything she could not to squeeze her cape for comfort. Already just inside, she could tell things were... not as they should be. For a ship this size, the place was surprisingly empty, dust dancing about in the air like plankton in the ocean, loose furniture coated in the stuff! There wasn't anyone... ANYWHERE... It was all... just... empty... Through her heroic bravery, however, THE GREAT AND FEARLESS HERO resist every urge to cling to Opherla on the way up there, insead following only a half-step behind, glancing into every room. It was like she was EXPECTING some monster, some horrific creature to be hiding in one of them, just WAITING to jump out at them and break the silence! She KNEW it wasn't gonna happen that way! There were no signs of a monster, really! ...But quiet and emptiness like this.... well... it had a way of working its way into a child's brain!
When they reached the bridge Terra couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. THERE WAS someone still onboard! The Captain, perhaps? Terra said nothing as the pair of them were greeted by the... boy, revealing that this was only a piece of a grander ship, "The Fury." Judging by the way Opherla talked about it, she DID know about this man AND THE SHIP AAAAAAAND its history ENOUGH that she could presume this man would be sad about the current state of affairs! So much missing context... It was starting to mess with Terra's head, frustrate her a little!
...And then the conversation turned back to her... and Terra groaned as Opherla, unwittingly or not, revealed her identity AGAIN! RIGHT after she said she'd keep it a secret too!
"I not Terra! I The GREAT Majigirl! I BIG hero!" She proclaimed, striking a pose! "But... why you have you ship out here? What happened to it? Why you feel sad about it?"

So the small girl’s name was Terra? It was a good, pretty name for a pretty little girl. Her antics and boisterous bravado brought a smile to the teen boy’s lips as he chuckled at her objection to being referred to by the name Opherla had used for her while dressed up as a little super hero. “I see, then it’s a pleasure to welcome the Great Hero, Majigirl, aboard my ship.” He made a mental not to register her biometrics to distinguish by her outfit, and welcome her aboard appropriately, later.
“Thank you, Opherla.” He said to the older girl before looking back at the younger, “Since you both want to hear it, I may as well tell it.” He looked back over the bridge for a moment before walking over to the hologram and typing on a panel. The image changed from the ship to a planet with ten moons, it had five continents and had blue oceans like the Earth. “This was Garanteus. Homeworld of the Fury.” He thought for a moment, looking back over his shoulder at the two before saying, “I’m going to skip the full history lesson and just get to the most recent stuff.”
“So about three hundred years ago the Fury’s scientists noticed and instability in the core of Garanteus and predicted they had maybe four hundred years or so until it was due explode. That’s when this ship was first thought up and began production.” The hologram changed to look like the ship they stood in, but different, the large hole on the front most spoke wasn’t present, there where fewer guns and the bridge they stood in looked smaller. “She was supposed to be part of an entire fleet. All with one goal in mind, ferry the entire population of Garanteus to a new home. But there was two problems…” He paused for a moment to collect his thoughts before continuing, “The first issue was finding a world to go to, they needed a world with a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, temperate climates and the right balance of fertile lands and oceans to support them.” He paused again, this time long enough to let the fact he’d basically just described Earth sink in before adding, “But also, that the world not already be inhabited by intelligent life.”
He changed the hologram again, this time to a very mean looking man with glaring, fox like eyes, a square-cut jaw, short blue hair and three square markings on each cheek. He wore a very elaborate military style uniform with his shoulders squared and his arms behind his back. “Around one hundred years ago this man rose to power among the Fury, rising to the second highest rank in their culture, the Knight Marshal, right under the Emperor. His name was Ga-Ravan, and he was part of the Extremist Faction that found the process of finding an uninhabited world to migrate to too slow with the literal time bomb under their feet.” He turned and looked at the girls as he said, “He murdered the Imperial family, save one, secretly imprisoned the survivor and usurped absolute control of the Fury Empire by claiming the one survive was too gravely ill to speak to anyone else.”
The hologram changed to the ships current configuration and Liek continued, “He had the Gau-la-Furia refit as a combat ship, stripping the stasis pods from the bow and stern spokes and from the central section to make way for a bigger Orgone Extractor, more guns and space for all the equipment an army would need to invade a planet.” He paused again, “Our. Planet.”
Again the hologram changed, this time showing five people. Three teenage girls, a tomboy with red hair and blue eyes, a very feminine girl with blonde hair and brown eyes, and a confident girl with dark hair and yellow eyes. The fourth was a teenage boy with purple hair and eyes and the fifth was a woman in her early thirties with silver hair. Liek first gestured to the three teenage girls, “As part of the pre-invasion scouting missions these three where kidnapped and take back to Garanteus and experimented on, trying to find humanities weaknesses. Their names where…” he pointed at the redhead, “Galifrey Hale.” he pointed to the blonde, “Yumi Castile.” He then pointed to the dark haired girl and smiled softly, “Fa Galswith, my adoptive grandmother.” He was quiet a moment before continuing, “They eventually escaped and literally ran into…” He pointed at the teenage boy, “Rudee Shiro, who thought himself a normal human and was leading a normal life as a high school, completely unaware that his father was once one of the Fury’s Knight Lords who had turned traitor and freed the three girls… at the cost of his life.”
Liek then pointed at the older woman, “She was Carolina Sherbert. A Sergeant in Earth’s defence forces and an instructor at a northern training base. She had the bad luck of being in charge of a bunch of recruits who happened to all be Fury infiltrators. One of whom she had a romantic relationship. Things got rocky between them when the Fury Infiltrators destroyed that base and left her as the only survivor.”
“They came to call themselves the J Numbers.”
“These five managed to push back the Fury before the invasion could begin and took the fight to the Fury home system… where they found and hijacked this ship to serve as their base of operations while also screwing up Ga-Ravan’s plans in the process.” He changed the projection to what looked like archival footage of a space battle, with the Gau-la-Furia at the centre of a formation of other ships, alongside a much smaller golden warship, against a much larger fleet. While the ships fired emerald beams back and forth small specks that could just be made out to be people flew about in a great melee between the two fleets. “Skipping a few details to keep things short, Carolina’s lover eventually switched sides after the J Numbers found and freed Princess Gala-Tia, which inspired many of the Fury to declare themselves as Loyalists and join them as well. Together the seven of them confronted Ga-Ravan and defeated him…”
Liek looked down, “However… Ga-Ravan was a sore loser…”
The hologram changed, this time to what looked like nothing more then some space rocks, surrounded by ten large, round, oddly familiar, very moon like, rocks.
“With the last of his strength Ga-Ravan fired a blast at Garanteus’ core and damaged it enough to reduce the amount of time the planet had left from decades… to years.” He looked at the holographic image and sighed, “This is Garanteus just a few years after that last battle. The entire Fury race, other then Cay-luum, Carolina’s lover who was ordered to leave, chose to stay behind. They knew they where doomed, but their honour demanded it.”
“The J Numbers returned to the Earth in ship and hid it in the ocean so its power wouldn’t be abused. They also shut off the Orgone Extractor so that even if it was found no one could get it running again… not unless they knew the Furiemshinken. So it has just laid under the ocean for about fifty years at this point.” He lifted his right hand and generated some crystals in it and smiled sadly, “I couldn’t just let it rot down there any more, not when I’m the only one alive who could start it up again and not when it might be needed really soon.”

Opherla listened very intently to the history lesson, taking in all the possible information she could about the Furies and who they were as Liek explained it to her and Terra. Opherla wasn't sure if Terra was going to understand all of this, and already for Opherla, it was becoming a bit difficult to understand. But she could do her best to make heads or tails of it as her tail softly swayed back and forth as she adopted an intent listening/thinking pose while Liek explained the history lesson.
To shorten it for her mind, Opherla knew that the Furies were originally from another planet. Big whoop, most everything came from another planet these days. It started long ago when stuff never came from the country it was made in, with the exception of maybe China, it was always coming from somewhere else. Now there were even people coming from different planets altogether. And Opherla understood that well, she was one of them! Though it likely wasn't best to reveal that so soon. Back to the lesson itself, as all things happen eventually, someone came into power who was on a full power trip. Again, fully expected of a civilization. Every single civilization had to have at least ONE bad ruler, or the civilization never learned from the mistakes of that bad ruler and never progressed from that point.
And to have the gall to launch an invasion on Earth... this guy had a massive set to want to do that. Luckily there was the J Numbers who Opherla looked upon and wondered if they were that era's own resemblance of the Z Fighters. And in honesty? They looked the part. Opherla couldn't help but notice how solemn Liek was as he explained all of this, as it only made Opherla's heart hurt for the young man, going back through his own history, considering he was the grandson to one of the J Numbers. Opherla was now understanding just how much this ship meant to Liek. It was his heritage. His lifestyle. His bloodline. This ship was a part of a history that was leading the boy to become a defender of Earth. And Opherla could not help but respect that about Liek.
As Liek's tale drew to a close, ending with how Ga-Ravan went so far as to blow up his own planet, Opherla's heart hurt even more for Liek, considering how much she now knew this ship meant to him. For fifty years it's laid down at the bottom of the waters Liek pulled it out of... it was no wonder he wanted to get it running again... since.... ...Since...
He was the only one who knew Furiemshinken. Opherla's eyes widened at the harsh realization of what this truly meant. If Opherla slipped up. If Liek died and was gone...
There would be no one left to operate this ship. No one left to power it. On limited Orgone Crystal supply, as Opherla thought that was how it worked, the ship would eventually power down again, never to be raised again from the depths if Liek was gone. Liek wasn't so solemn because of just the story. Liek was solemn... because there was only him. Only he could use the ship. Only he could power the ship... because the Furiemshinken lived on in him. And in him alone.
Opherla was now more determined than ever to cement the feelings of love and compassion between them both as she looked in a determined state at Liek and immediately blurted out a shocking line:
"Liek, I want to learn the Furiemshinken!"
Silence would fill the room for a moment from the powerful declaration from Opherla. Giving Liek time to react, Opherla would respond to whatever his reactiom was with the following words:
"If this ship means that much to you, then you can't be the only one to maintain it. It requires using the Furiemshinken, right? Then teach it to me. Let me learn the style of the Furiemshinken, so you're not alone in this any more!" Opherla pleaded with a pleading tone, before she looked at Terra. "And I'm certain a hero like yourself is always looking to improve herself, right Majigirl? You should learn the style as well! Then you can use it to fight crime and save people! Like a real hero!" Opherla encouraged Terra with a bright smile, hoping just interacting with her would brighten Liek's mood, before Opherla looked at him seriously.
"I'm serious though, Liek. I want to learn the Furiemshinken. Because just like the history behind this ship, I won't let the history of such a technique die. I will do my best to help it flourish, and pass it on to those who are willing. I'm willing to do all of this for you, Liek. I'm more than willing to keep your history... no... your bloodline, going, by learning the technique that you use to preserve the history of things like this ship, and even how such a style came to be." Opherla declared firmly to Liek, her resolve flourishing with every word she spoke unto him, and with the resolve, a sense of camaraderie... and even a hint of love.

Terra... was not ready for this story... In fact, she hadn't been ready for ANY of this really! When she came to the ship, the little pink girl had been expecting some sort of supervillain, a bad guy raising his massive war-machine death-ship from the water with hundreds of minions to fight! ...But that wasn't it at all... In fact, this was merely the remnants of a ship belonging to, what seemed to be, a nice guy in Liek! ...But as much as she might've wanted to, the Great Majigirl simply couldn't hold on to all of this, to keep her attention focused on such exposition! She stared blankly through her visor at the man, his words flowing in and out of her head like wind through a hollow tube! Opherla seemed to be driven to help him though, seemingly moved my his speech! She wanted to help him and... well... that was good enough for Terra!
"So... You not bad guy...?" The Great and Understanding hero questioned, offering a hand up to Liek. "...I no understand what going on here... But I help too! You count on it!" She then pointed back at herself with her thumb! "You just say what you need! We help you get what you need!"
...And that was all that needed to be said! Truly, what would one expect from a child? To hang on their every last word? As wonderful and awe-inspiring as the GREAT Majigirl was, she simply was too young to have an attention span longer than a couple of minutes! She was, for all intents and purposes, only a few months old with an appropriate mind to match! All she truly grasped from this whole exposition-dump was that Liek was in trouble, his ship wasn't in it's optimal condition and Opherla wanted to help! ...Well, what more motivation could Terra need?
"You tell us what to do!" Terra proclaimed! "I hero! I make sure everything okay!"

"Liek, I want to learn the Furiemshinken!"
One could practically hear Liek’s mind come grinding to a record scratching halt as he heard those words pass from Opherla’s lips. He hadn’t known what to expect her to say about everything he’d told her. Maybe that she wanted to help keep the ship safe, preserve the history within, renew her vow to helping him grow stronger, so he could protect it himself. At no point did the teen ever imagine he would hear her say something like that.
Liek couldn’t help but smile brightly at Opherla’s words, he felt his heart swell and warmth rise up from within. Tears appeared on the edges of his eyes as pure, raw emotion overcame him. He’d never really reflected on it before, but in this moment he realised just how much pressure and expectation he’d placed on his own shoulders with being the last living user of Furiemshinken. How much fear he’d harboured, and how much it was all amplified by the looming shadow of Arctic. Hearing Opherla’s offer, and her follow up words…
The boy couldn’t help but let the tears start flowing. Softly he whispered, “T-Thank you.” he breathed in and looked the older girl in the eyes before saying louder, “Thank you.” It was like a weight had been lifted, the burden shifted so as to not be his alone. With Opherla sharing it it became that much more easy to bear.
Although it did seem he’d have to correct her one some details later. He didn’t carry the blood of a Fury, and he wasn’t related by blood to his Grandmother. He carried the legacy of the Fury, not their blood. If she had meant something different from that it didn’t occur to the boy.
For Terra, it was a shame she couldn’t follow along. The holographic visual aids had been, in part, for her benefit. But alas, history lesson where never a favourite subject for little children. Even if Liek had been actively aware of her zoning out and being able to fully follow along he wouldn’t blame her for it. Children will be children.
He smiled at the tiny Majin and replied, “No. I’m no bad guy. I want to use this ship, and my power, to protect and save people.” At her offer to help, which he did not take as an offer to learn Furiemshinken, since she didn’t actually say that, he instead contemplated what would be needed to speed up the full repairs. However he immediately realised listing off those materials would be pointless, since he doubted a child could remember all the materials and compounds, let alone know where to find them.
No, better to let the computer transmute orgone for the job. If that was the case, all he needed materially was time.
“Well… I could do with friends and training partners. I’m already both of those with Opherla, so I’d be really happy to count you as those too, Majigirl.” he then decided to sweeten the deal, “Every hero needs a cool base, right?”

Opherla's heart swelled as Liek's was doing when his mind came to a halt at hearing her words. All Opherla wanted was to make sure that Liek's stories and historu of the past lived on, because in Opherla's eyes, no amount of history should be left to die out. Opherla couldn't help but share Liek's tears as she watched him at first whisper his thanks, before he repeated it for Opherla to hear. On an instant, Opherla approached Liek when he said the second thank you and gave him a hug, holding him tightly as she smiled warmly and covered the young boy in soothing warmth of compassion and camaraderie. Opherla held the hug for a good amount of time before she let go and smiled at Liek, tears streaming down her face.
"You're welcome, Liek." Opherla smiled as she caressed his cheeks to wipe his tears away. "I don't want your history to die. I don't want all of the things you've learned from your grandmother to fade away completely. I want to pass on these lessons, and this vessel, to many generations to come." Opherla spoke warmly as she looked at Liek compassionately, placing her hands on his shoulders firmly. In this moment of silence as the two looked into each other's eyes, Opherla couldn't mistake what she saw in Liek's eyes. She looked upon his eyes and what she saw...
It could only be described as her future. Her future with Liek at her side, as they passed on many after many generations of the Furiemshinken, telling the generations about the Furies and their story, and telling them in a way it stuck, so that for almost eternity, Earth will know about the Furies that once walked on this planet. All of this made Opherla's heart swell up greatly as she looked at Liek, holding her warm smile for a while.
However, when Liek started to move to talk to Terra, Opherla snapped herself out of the moment and watched as Liek addressed Terra- Oh, sorry, Majigirl, and Opherla couldn't help but smile. She heard Liek offer to Terra this ship as her own secret base as Opherla couldn't help but smile at hearing that, thinking of this interaction as being incredibly cute and wholesome as she soon walked up to them both.
"We're happy to have your help, Great Majigirl. With a superhero on our side, how can we possibly lose against evil? We can all train together! Then we shall never EVER lose!" Opherla spoke a bit dramatically as she smiled and looked at Liek, hoping what she was doing was lifting his spirits even more.

Terra... was confused. On the one side, everything seemed to be going well for Liek! He was getting help from, like, TWO REALLY strong people to help with whatever he needed help with, both she and Opherla seemed totally onboard with providing that help, and he seemed kinda happy about it... But he was crying too...? The little pink girl tilted her head oddly as Opherla closed the gap between herself and him, using her hands to both cup his face as wipe away the wetness pooling down his cheeks! The gesture reminded Terra so much of how her Momma used to hold her sometimes... Terra's memory flashed back to a day where she had fallen down and scraped her knee, her Momma appearing almost the INSTANT the little girl had let out a cry of surprise! She remembered tearing up too, not yet strong enough or tough enough to brush off something as superficial as a skinned knee... and Liari holding her face in her hands, brushing those tears away as she hummed a soft, calming tune. It was as if the pain was being syphoned away with the musical tamber of the Majin's voice, Terra almost falling asleep, safe, in her mother's arms!
...The memory almost brought tears to TERRA'S OWN EYES, the Great and BRAVE hero raising a hand to her face to wipe away at them... only to accidentally knock her helmet! ...Oh, right... She was a hero right now... AND HEROES DIDN'T CRY! EVER! ...Even if they missed their mommies very, very much and wanted to see their auntie too...
Thankfully, it was Liek who would draw Terra back into the moment before she spiraled into a pit of lamentation, thanking the Majin for her help and, with Opherla, going as far as to proclaim that they would NEVER, EVER LOSE so long as they had her on their side! That perked The Great Majigirl RIGHT UP, her striking a proud pose before the two of them, just happy to be acknowledged! Liek would make his proposal then, and it was a pretty simple one: He wanted training partners... and friends!
Well, by golly, say no MORE!
"We all need friends!" Terra responded cheerfully, holding her arms out to Liek! "Friends good! They make happy! They help lots when sad! I not know what going on with you and you ship, but I know friends make it all better!" ...As for the training... Terra never really took to fighting QUITE like her mother Liari did. She wasn't what one might consider to be "talented" in the arts of beating people up... Terra was more... magical. She more enjoyed HELPING than hurting, but given who her parent was and where her power currently stood, either Opherla or Liek would be a fool to consider her weak in this circumstance!
"We have fun too! Let's tussle!" The Hero proclaimed, her fist shooting up excitedly! "How we do? All fight at once? Take turns? Maybe fight outside ship so we not hurt it? No wanna make hurt ship more hurt!"

The teen boy almost collapsed into his crush’s embrace. What she was giving him was the first friendly physical contact he’d had with another person since his grandmother had died. He’d spoken to people and sparred with some as well, but this kind of contact? The kind where it was purely intended for comfort, a simple hug, was something he’d missed terribly. He’d gone from a routine of giving his grandmother a hug goodnight ever day, to stone cold nothing. And the weeks of isolation had been getting him.
So when Opherla wrapped her arms around him he didn’t hesitate to return it, his arms grasping her tightly because he knew he didn’t need to restrain his strength with her. And just like her words had eased his burden, her actions helped to ease his heart and he felt more of his emotional pains melt away, driven away by the warmth of human contact.
The tiny Majin’s efforts where not without benefit either. Her actions reminded him of his grandmother doing the same thing when he was still little. He had been so confused and scared back then, not that he could really remember why. Maybe he should read those letters she left for him, maybe they would explain it? Not that it mattered all that much right now, in the moment what mattered was that the little girl was trying to comfort him.
He smiled when Opherla said she wanted to help him pass on the lessons he’d learned and the ship to future generations. His eyes glanced around the empty, dusty bridge they where in and imagined what it would look like some time in future, filled with students of the Furiemshinken, tending to the systems, maintaining the ship, training both in the ship and various worlds they may travel to. All the while upholding the values of the Fury, wielding their power with nobility and honour to defend those who cannot defend themselves.
The boy liked the idea of that future, and there was no need for him to say anything, his appreciation was written all over his face. Someone would have to be blind, or a small child, not to see it.
He placed his hand on the small Majin’s head and gave it a good ruffling, or rather he shuffled her helmet around enough that if she had human hair it would be thoroughly ruffled. With a smile he said, “I appreciate the enthusiasm, but today may not be the best for sparring. I’ve still got to explore this ship and move all my stuff.” Which was very true, even though he knew the ships history he only knew how to get to the Orgone Extractor room and the bridge. That meant he knew how to fly the thing and turn it on, but that was it.
After a thought he added, “You can explore if you like, just try not to break anything? And I’ll let the computer know to let you come and go as you please. As a friend you’ll always be welcome on board!”

Opherla was happy that Liek's spirits were raised from the actions she and Terra had taken to lift up the boy's spirits. She couldn't help but smile, knowing she had lifted Liek from his state of emotional depression and into a better state of mind, as Opherla looked around the ship, wondering just what rooms it could have within it, and what she could find while prowling about the ship, however, it was then that she recalled the meeting had before this ship came out of the water. The meeting about the status of things, Arctic on his way, Callion's words of warning... Opherla needed to actually get to training, and if they wouldn't spar here, a spar would be needed to take place somewhere else, and, subsequently, training.
"I'd love to explore this ship, Liek. But, I think it would be better if I leave here now." Opherla declared as she smiled at Liek. "But don't worry, I'll definitely be coming back to the ship to see what there is to see around here, and, more importantly, see what you're up to." Opherla teased Liek with a knowing smile, and would let his brain run wild with the implications behind that statement. Opherla soon turned to Terra, as she smiled at the little Majin, oh so happy to see her again as Opherla soon knelt down to Terra. "Great Majigirl, I have to leave and go get stronger. If you want, you can come with me. I'd be more than happy to help your superhero training." Opherla spoke with a bright smile as she would wait for Terra's answer, eagerly wanting to know what she would decide to do, since it seemed she saw Opherla in a much better light now compared to how they last left off.
Opherla would soon look back to Liek, a large part of her just unable to say bye again to him. Subconsciously, many thoughts ran amok in her mind that made her hesitant to go. What if something happened to Liek while she was gone? What if Liek took off into orbit and didn't know how to get back? What if she would leave, and never see Liek again for WHATEVER reason? Her heart had never felt like this before, but that's when Opherla knew it was the genuine feeling of love. Love for Liek. She loved Liek, as much as she was second guessing herself for leaving him here. Opherla had to shake those thoughts out of her mind. She would see Liek again, she knew she would. So she needed to leave with an impression on Liek, so that he wouldn't ever consider leaving on her. The first thing that suddenly came to mind?
Opherla grabbed Liek, and brought him close to her, before giving him a massive, heartfelt, loving lip to lip kiss! Opherla's official first kiss she had ever gotten, or in this case, given! The love in her heart she felt for Liek compelled her to do this right now, even if the Great Majigirl was watching on, but Opherla didn't care at the moment, kissing Liek as deeply and lovingly as she could, making sure he knew EXACTLY how he felt for her, before she let out of the kiss, a massive blush on her face, and smiling cheekily at Liek.
"I-I'll see you later, guys." Opherla stammered before she quickly exited the room she was in, heading for the exit, all the while blushing and squirming like a little girl! Opherla had just KISSED somebody! She didn't know what to feel or, in all honesty, HOW to feel about it! It just felt so right to kiss him at that point, because her heart just told her to do it! She couldn't contain her emotions anymore as she gave a small squeal while on her way out of the ship, and as soon as she got to the exit, she quickly flew off in a massive mess of teenage drama and embarrassment over what she had done. And in front of a HERO, no less! And what was more, it was a KID! Opherla hoped Terra wouldn't be weirded out by that whole sequence of events she had just witnessed, but for right now, Opherla left with a blush still on her face, and now her emotions of how she felt laying in Liek's lap, with him to sort out... just what the heck happened in that short moment of time!

Terra... was confused! First, Liek seemed to imply that he wanted to fight a bit but... He... didn't...? What was more, Opherla was acting all WEIRD around him! It was almost like a magnet was hovering above her head, disrupting all the little electrical signals going on inside, making her act all... all weird and stuff! In fact... Terra cocked her head to the side as she caught that look Opherla was giving him... It kinda reminded her of the look Momma Moire would give Liari when she wasn't looking... or sometimes when she was. It was this sort of... floaty, fuzzy look, as if their mind wasn't all there but something else was, something... instinctual. Terra never quite understood it, nor what exactly lay behind those eyes...
...NOR did she expect for Opherla to take Liek's lips in hers and press them together! Terra blinked, her eyes widening! SHE REMEMBERED SEEING HER MOMMAS DOING THAT TOO! Sometimes, when they thought Terra was asleep, Terra would catch her Mommas doing that just outside of her room, the lip-thing! They would even press their lips to her forehead but... never that! The only thing Terra could guess was that... it was a nice thing....? Some kind of affection but... wait... WHY was Opherla running away!? The little pink Majin watched as Opherla fled the ship as if a devil were after her, the little super-hero completely thrown off by this exchange of... everything! It was as if the little Majin were a few seconds behind in the entire thing, left to wonder... WHY everything was happening the way it was! Terra looked at the disappearing lycan... then over at Liek who appeared to be contemplating what had happened himself! Terra took a second... formulating her thoughts and, with the tone of a wise sage, she would ask:
"...You and Ophy married?"
It was a logical conclusion! She had only ever seen Moire and Liari touch lips like that and, when they did, they seemed really happy! Outside of her family, she'd only seen passing glimpses of couples doing that... but moments such as those brought them great joy! Terra could only conclude that only people who loved each other VERY MUCH could touch lips that way... and so Ophy and Liek must have loved each other muchly too!
