Jorey PL: 19,183 Current Location: Yunzabit Heights Current Timeframe: Midday Just Jorey's luck. The ones who were said to have destroyed that city he found himself in with Athren and Quash were Saiyans. Well, it wasn't like they were wrong about that. Jorey was definitely one of the culprits who destroyed it. However, it wasn't entirely his will to do so. He never specifically was contracted to destroy the city, and he had no other reason to anyway. It wouldn't be wrong to say that Jorey didn't want to let loose his Great Ape form. It's not like he had any qualms against it, except this one. Now that Saiyans were said to have destroyed Orange City, staying on this planet will be a lot harder than it ever was before. Jorey would have to lay low, not raise any attention, and let no one find out that he was a Saiyan. The only ones who should know who he is by this point are very few in number. He tried counting them out in his head, as he flew north. There's Athren and Quash, obviously. Quash definitely attacked Orange City with me, but I can't remember if Athren transformed, too. There was that one Saiyan from the bank I met, those Changelings from that same incident, and I remember Katrina and Anastasia from a while ago finding out I was a Saiyan. And, there's also Ayu. I might have to be careful around her knowing I'm a Saiyan. I doubt the chick from the bank would care. I don't know much about that Quash guy, but he's in no position to really say anything about me attacking Orange City. I'd rather not have any racism in my soup for a while, so I'm gonna avoid those two for a while. Shit, but still, this situation sucks.
Jorey had to change some stuff about himself in order to survive. Without a scouter, he has no way of telling when someone is coming at him, or where they are, or if there are any threats nearby. Without his cloak, he wouldn't be able to conceal his Saiyan identity easier. With his tail, he stood out like a sore thumb that just screamed "Saiyan." There were solutions to each of those situations. For the cloak situation, Jorey had to look around for another giant black cloak. He was able to find one, but almost ran into an incident with an Earthling who suspected him of being a Saiyan. The armor that he used to have? Yeah, that's gone too, now. He sold it to some black marketeers, so he wouldn't raise suspicion that he was a Saiyan with the design of the armor. For now, he just has the full body suit and the boots he usually wore with his armor. Nothing to raise suspicion that he was a Saiyan. In regards to his tail, Jorey had to tuck that into his own bodysuit. There was still a hole in the back, but it was very inconspicuous, unless you were looking for it. Having the cloak on Jorey would also help to hide the hole for the tail. He figured he'd need to have another bodysuit made, one that makes it more comfortable to walk around with a tail in his pants, literally. Then the issue of the scouter. Jorey landed and perched himself on a rock, overseeing the mountains he found himself residing in. The black cloak flowed in the wind, as did Jorey's hair. He looked over the mountains, plateaus, and other such rock formations, and let out a deep sigh. "I guess now would be a good time as any to learn how to sense energy."
Jorey continued onward, finding himself a nice, giant plateau to settle down on. The breeze was pretty chilly, but it was definitely something Jorey could handle. If anything, he could light a fire, and he would really be more than comfortable. It sucks that everything had to resort to this, but it's how life had to be. If some video got out and showed Jorey transforming into an Oozaru, coming back from Oozaru, or an Oozaru with Jorey's armor, he'd have a bounty on his head immediately. He can only hope that no one tries to identify him from that video, if there is one. Jorey doubts there were any eyewitnesses to the scene, but you could also never be too sure. Without any work or a home, Jorey would have to stake out in the wilds, to avoid danger, until he was ready to come back to civilization. Right now, it was time to put an effort together to survive. Jorey brought a lot of sticks that he found, both large and small, and put them in a pile next to a cave he would deem his temporary home. Finding rocks was the easiest thing to do here. Finding trees or sticks or whatever else that could burn was the hard part. Fortunately, Jorey was able to find this much for now. He could always fly around to some other forest area, get a bunch of fire wood, and bring that into this cave for later. That was a later issue. A right now issue was also to get food. What forms of life even existed here? Was there anything even edible here? It didn't look like it. Jorey stood up after making a fire and looked around. "I picked a great place to never be found, but if I'm not smart about this I could literally die. I needa find stable food sources for right now. For the future, I can probably steal food from cities. Non perishables would be a sound investment, if I can find a nice, cool, dry place to store 'em. Maybe this cave would prove useful."
Jorey went into the cave and looked in. He formed a ball of Ki in his hand, lighting the way in front of him. It wouldn't take too long for him to reach the end of it, just a minute by walking. There was absolutely no other life in here, which was both good or bad. Good, because he wouldn't have to worry about some dumb lower lifeforms jumping him at night. Bad, because he now officially had no source of food. He sighed, disappointed for a little bit. Then, the Saiyan took a bit of an optimistic turn. "Well, it can't be that bad. I've slept on worse. Desert sand really does a lot to your body, and it isn't as comfortable as rocks, right? Plus a pod is so much more cramped than the freedom of the outdoors."
Jorey plopped down on the floor of the cave, right at the mouth of it. He put his back against the wall, and sat there with one leg up, his arm resting on it. Waiting a few moments, he uttered only one more phrase. "I've made a terrible mistake."

Post by Plasma on Jun 30, 2022 8:40:52 GMT -5
Sat atop a boulder in the midst of nowhere, Plasma felt the howling winds tear against his body to no avail – yet, it was still haunting enough for the android to grit his teeth and keep his guard up, pondering as to if anyone would be after him, or yearning to cause more trouble across the world. Plasma rubbed his palms against the rough surface of the rock, feeling the stingy bits scratch against his hardened skin as he looked into the distance, watching the sun hover, wondering how his friend Callion was doing. Remaining silent for the duration of his thoughts, Plasma could not shrug the ominous sensation off his back that something terribly was occurring – something horrid and yet familiar was taking place or about to. Plasma looked over his shoulder in search of something, as if trying to put a finger onto what was edging his calmness to the point of paranoia. Sighing to himself, Plasma stretched out his right leg before banging his heel against the boulder’s side as his thoughts trailed back to the news, he had heard about Orange City. Now – that was something that remained on his mind, something foul and dangerous easily capable of transforming to reach insane strengths without a plausible limit in sight – something that had easily destroyed the city and who knew where the culprits had escaped off to? Somewhere those ginormous abominations were wandering causing more destruction or biding their time for the next reckoning upon those so innocent. Yet, what if those apes could take on a smaller form – something that they could utilize at will to blend in with the people as they went unnoticed by the families they had destroyed and torn apart? Pausing in his movements, Plasma raised his hand beneath his chin and questioned the genuine possibility of it – just which race could be capable of such a feat? His thoughts raced through the numerous races he had encountered so far, the numerous tomes he had read through and the parties at play – and there was one that stood out to him, that of the Saiyans – albeit it was not something that Plasma could say with certainty due to his mentor never showing the ability to do so during their training together. Wherever Callion was, however, Plasma crossed his fingers and hoped his mentor was not somewhere dangerous at this given time – their training together had not finished, and Plasma’s tutelage was still a long way to go. However, if something was to happen to him – Plasma shut off the trail of thoughts before it continued as he was not one to think such malicious thoughts or ideals. It felt natural, yet inhumane at the same time, undeserving of such negativity. Summersaulting forward to land on the grassy earth, Plasma unleashed his entire power – powering himself up to his maximum capacity. Pebbles were forced upwards, levitating in the air, as Plasma’s unrestrained power was unleashed – however, as he sensed himself out, he felt it was inefficient and entirely lacking in the aspect of stopping those that screwed up the city. Now, that was properly infuriating that he was lacking behind the others without the possibility of obtaining a greater strength without taking the life of another. Clenching both of his fists, Plasma turned on his heel and punched right through the boulder with all of his might – shattering it with utmost ease as the crash echoed through the valley. Irritated to the point of losing his cool, Plasma took a slight step back as he realized the loss of control could easily result in. Fear. Albeit unsure as to what he should pinpoint the origin too, Plasma feared that he was to be a pushover in the future – if he did not push beyond his limits and into newer heights, he would find himself easily defeated by the sense of it. Embarrassing, foremost, that the pupil of Callion – if anything happened to him – would be incapable of avenging him to any degree if Plasma did not push beyond everyone else, felt embarrassing to him. He was not one to speak to himself, but if anyone else was here, Plasma would reprimand himself and his lack of transformations for compensation. Just what in the world was Plasma’s place anyhow? Was it to simply grow strong and fall behind those capable of manipulating their power level? Was he just meant to be some laboratory experiment for some faire gone wrong and forgotten? Just what was this android’s purpose of creation beyond some scientist’s desire to test his abilities? His point of origin was murky, dirty and forgotten when he broke out of his container – a saddening realization for the android who stood inanimate on the shattered surface. Repressing his power level, Plasma waddled towards the edge of the hill he stood on and sat down, letting his feet dangle as the cold breeze brushed against him. There was just a slight oddity out here in the middle no nowhere that Plasma picked up on – a small signature, a living entity, far stronger than the typical civilian, yet not too much to be on par with those that taught Plasma how to fight. Now, that did not mean that Plasma should be alarmed at all at this rate as this could easily be just another combatant that sought to traverse the world and train somewhere that would not result in excessive destruction where life was. His miniature white hands began drumming against the ground as he continuously tracked the energy signature of Jorey who was wandering around in the area – unknowing of the android that lingered here as well. However, what if Plasma had indeed encountered one of those men that were capable of transforming into those monstrosities? Sure, he was not that powerful compared to Plasma’s full strength – but he was still an entity to watch out for if he got the upper hand in combat. Unfortunately for Plasma, he just could not shake off the feeling as to why another entity wanted to be out here in the middle of nowhere. Gritting his teeth, the android would drop down from his vantage point and absolutely dull his energy signature to a mere one as he skipped between the slippery rocks and rubble. Taking immense advantage of his smaller posture and build, Plasma utilized the natural rock formation to sneak around without being detected – at least he hoped so. Besides that, Plasma’s eyes widened in surprise as he took in the appearance of the fellow that wandered the corner of the world, his appearance similar to that of Callion’s – including the hair and that. . . what was that? Plasma squinted as he tried to make out a tail on the Saiyan, but fortunately enough for Jorey – Plasma was out of luck due to the rocky formations hindering his sight. Just how should Plasma approach this situation? The android scratched his chin as he pondered on the possibilities. What was certain, was that Plasma could not let this fellow out of sight, as his actions and mannerism were very much suspicious for android – could this truly be a fugitive or one responsible for a foul deed? He ensured to make a point inside of his head where the cavern was that Jorey ventured inside of before looking down at his own wrist – and questioning himself whether entering that cave as well with his bionic blades was a smart thing at all or not. Just what would Callion had done in this situation? Peacefully approached a possible candidate for an entire city’s destruction and harm of the innocent. Plasma gritted his teeth before dropping down – right in front of the mouth of the cave with a loud ‘thud’. Whilst Plasma’s appearance was not that entirely intimidating, bar the Changeling appearance – he did look a bit out of place, with his dotted appearance and tail located on the middle of his back. Unfortunately for Plasma within this moment as well, he felt the immense power coursing through the entire world due to his sensing abilities – which unfortunately, on top of that, caused his bionic blades to sprout out of his wrist guards. Instinctively taking on a combative stance at the mouth of the cave, Plasma’s blade began to light up in a purple hue as he was prepared – he was on the defensive. This might come off as unintentionally hostile, but in these trying times one could simply not take any risks – and with that, Plasma would venture into the cave, carefully, in pursuit of the Saiyan he could sense right around the corner. 1467 TWC Super H.W Workout Mix 6/10(?) The situation Jorey found himself in was an unfortunate one. Without food, Jorey would surely starve to death, especially with his Saiyan appetite. It wouldn't be an ideal death, that's for sure. A death outside of the battlefield wouldn't be ideal at all to any Saiyan. At least, that's what he himself figured. Without the ability to sense energy, Jorey could get ambushed at any moment. Who knows when's the next time Jorey would get attacked? Obviously, this Saiyan wouldn't, which is very unfortunate. Thoughts started racing through his mind, specifically about those people he's met that can sense energy. There were so many of them, and he felt like he was the only one incapable of doing so. "Katrina, Anastasia, Ayu, Quash, Athren, Saiyan chick from the bank, those two Arcosians, dammit!"
Jorey slammed his fist against the wall behind him. His frustration knew no bounds on this subject. After thinking about it, he thought that he really was the only one who wasn't able to sense energy, after all. Of course, we're not counting the millions and millions of people already on Earth who can't sense energy or have no ability to control their energy. Still, it was hurtful to think about. "Is this really one of those things that sets us all apart? Am I being hindered by my inability to sense energy? How the hell do I get stronger, then?"
Being pissed off about it wasn't going to help anything. After about a minute of thinking about it, Jorey sighed and prostrated himself, coming off the wall. "Well, there's no use in being all pissy about it."
He didn't know what the first thing to do was in trying to sense energy. It was all confusing. He could only imagine his scouter doing it, not his own body...or was it the mind? Wait, what part of the body do they even sense with? Dammit, Jorey, you're getting distracted again! Just close your eyes, concentrate on trying to feel something there. Relax. Meditate.
Jorey did all of those things. He tried to get into a comfortable position, with his hands resting on his knees, his legs crossed, and his eyes closed. He tried to focus on an energy source, maybe even his own, anything out there. Any sort of progress would help. If he could feel like there's something there, then that would be a good start, at the very least. Suddenly, Jorey heard a loud thump coming from just outside the cave. What the shit!?
His eyes shot open and he jumped straight up to his feet. He knew he didn't feel that or sense that; that was a noise that was completely recognized by his ears. No other senses were involved. Quickly, Jorey made sure that his tail was hidden under his cloak, inside his bodysuit, to prevent any suspicion at all. After he put his tail inside his bodysuit, he ran out and extended his arm forward to the entrance of the cave, concentrating Ki into his hand to shine some light on the entrance. "Who the hell are you!?"
He was on guard. Jorey wasn't expecting any uninvited guests anytime soon. In fact, he was hoping he wouldn't find anyone at any point in time. And here he was, thinking he'd found a nice, secluded place to chill out at for the time being. He'd have to think about relocating at this point, if it was a common place for people to come through to. Where the hell else could he go? The arctic? The desert? Some sort of swamp area or forest? None of those places sounded pleasant. Then again, this place wasn't really pleasant either. The figure in the distance was...pretty short, actually, but it seemed to be having energy blades sticking out of its arms. This definitely seemed like a threat. Was he pursued here? Was this some sort of mercenary bent on hunting down Jorey? Did he somehow already have a hit set on him? When he was able to get a good look from the light of the Ki blades and his own energy, the Saiyan realized that this creature looked to be of Frieza Race descent. He groaned, not wanting to deal with another racist, but he didn't lower his arm or disperse his Ki. "Ugh, another Changeling? Look, if you're here just to shout out a buncha racial slurs at me, I'ma either ask you to leave, or I'll just shoot you."
Jorey paused for a little while longer, studying the creature in front of him. No, this wasn't an Arcosian, or at least, it very much assembled one. What was this thing? Why did it look so much like a Frieza Race, but also so much not like one? It was quite literally throwing the Saiyan off. He just couldn't wrap his head around it, and his face said it all. It's not like he didn't even bother to hide his confusion, he literally couldn't. Jorey thought he'd seen it all in his travels across space, but this was definitely a first. He lowered his arm a bit and stood up a bit more, unable to contain his confusion, and suddenly wanting answers. "Wait, what are you? You look like a Changeling, but you also don't...The hell?"

It would be a proper shame if someone inside of a cavern would be caught with their metaphorical pants down by some complete stranger in the middle of nowhere, that was actively searching for someone in the middle of nowhere with said sensing abilities that the former individual was lacking in such dire times. Plasma looked at some unseen observer for a sole second, wriggling his eyebrows, before returning to the serious situation that was that immense power level and a complete stranger zerking off inside of some cavern in the middle of nowhere. Now – there was that slight shaking sensation through the rubble as pebbles fell down to the considerably strong Saiyan smacking his fist against the rocky wall – which was somewhat shocking to experience. Someone was frustrated, or agitated – quite so – but, surely whoever Plasma was sensing within these caverns would not be an issue to deal with if Plasma promptly stripped. Yeah – that had to wait, Plasma was not about to drop the beautiful suit that Callion had offered him following that yellow snow prevention arc.
Plasma was however on guard for every little motion and sensed movement that the Saiyan within could possibly make on his way out to – and Plasma would catch up onto it as if he had a third eye actively licking the back of his head to offer sight beyond sight. Now, if these two individuals were friends and all that – Plasma could had easily show the Saiyan as to how one would come to mediate and use their third eye inside of one’s dumb skull to see everything around yourself. Just the small issue of befriending each other first, that was. Plasma’s feet slowly dragged across the rocky surface, feeling every jagged rock grind against his hand as he moved it across the wall – whilst his blade illuminated the area with great strength. As much as Plasma wished to disable his blades and lightshow, following that powerful sensation of power – he was not going to lower his guard for the time being, especially with such a stranger around the corner with a power level far greater than your average human. It all would depend as to how this stranger appeared, and if he had any knowledge about the events occurring outside – for if this guy had something to know about that Orange City, then Plasma would look at him very judgingly.
Jorey’s movement was sensed the moment he heard the loud thump outside of the cavern – judging from the physical reaction and movement that Plasma’s innate abilities picked up. Sensing abilities, Son – they sense in response to living energy signatures. Although, Plasma’s blade did look mighty tasty due to the pinkish glow – and the android could not help himself but stick his blue tongue out to taste the blade --- scorching hot! He swiftly ceased any future attempts at tasting his plasma blade, and continued forward at least until he. . . encountered the monkey within – who was acting really strange for someone quite literally camping out in a cave in the middle of nowhere as if it was normal to do so, in this area, at this time of the day, at this time of the year.
Plasma had no initial reaction the Saiyan’s question as to who he was, for he could easily be the boogyman to this Saiyan with how the encounter was going so far – blade and all, and that ominous glow it was emitting. Now this fellow seemed relatively tall – like proper tall compared to Plasma, and he was just looking up at the fellow who appeared as if his beauty sleep had been interrupted by him. There was a silent snort coming from the android as he simply looked at the fellow as numerous thoughts raced through his head at insane speeds. He would take the opportunity, mid-thoughts, to scratch his own nose with the lower part of his wrist, all casually as he continued to look at the Saiyan. Plasma’s own stance was not overly aggressive, but rather a passive stance that was prepared for anything spontaneously. However, that little phrase including ‘Changeling’ sparked Plasma’s attention as his expression grew shocked as his eyes widened. What the hell was a ‘Changeling’ now? Really? Racial Slurs? Ask Plasma to leave, or shoot Plasma? Screw you, Plasma shoots first!
Is what Plasma thought to himself as his shocked appearance shifted into a stern yet serious one upon the threat of being shot at. This would finally be the case where Plasma could figure out a bit more about his background – or what the hell he was since he had not met a single one that appeared as him, only familiar races and what-not, but this was definitely a step forward. Alright – whatever Plasma had initially thought of this fellow was definitely overblown, and the android extinguished his plasma blades and placed his hands on his own hips – impatiently watching the Saiyan as his foot began tapping the ground in a repeating fashion. Yea, move on – get a good look! Plasma rolled his eyes before shaking his head. Oh – what is Plasma? His expression softened up into disbelief that this was the real face of the character before him. This is what Plasma thought was a dangerous fellow that was presumably a culprit, fugitive, criminal or something else entirely? Really? Plasma’s blades retracted into his wrist guards before he facepalmed in a verbal response to the man.
Plasma raised his hand up, erecting one finger as if signalling ‘a moment’ as the android processed the stupidity of this situation. Inhaling and then loudly exhaling, Plasma looked at the fellow and slowly shook his head at him as a parent would at their child if they were disappointed. "WHAT IZ PLASMA? WHAT IZ YOU? PLASMA NO CHANGELING. YOU A CHANGELING! PLASMA CHANGE YOU IF YOUZ KEEP DIS UP!" Plasma's clasped his hands together as if emphasizing each word as his hand moved up and down accordingly to each word he spat out. "YOU NO ASK WHAT AM I. I NO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE - BUT YOU LOOK LIKE CALLION, A SAND-JAN. YOU NO HAVE TAIL THOUGH, BUT HAIR FIT. YOU WEIRD. YOU MIX? YOU LIKE PLASMA? ODD ONE OUT TOO? YOU LOOK ODD. PLASMA IS MAYBE PART CHANGELING, PART THING, AND PART MACHINE - BUT PLASMA STILL NOT AS WEIRD AS YOU IN CAVE. CAVEMAN. CAVEMAN DOING QUESTION THING IN CAVE. MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. ODD. SUSPICIOUS. YOU VERY SUSPICIOUS AND PLASMA HIDE REAL STRENGTH. YOU NO BELIEVE, PLASMA WILL USE CALLION-ECNIQUES AND SHOW HONOR THROUGH PLASMA-ESQUES METHODS. UNLESS YOU TALK TALK BLAK BALK DOLK, OK?"
The Android was certain in his method of approach to this stranger that had the appearance of a Saiyan in terms of hair at least - but the tail was missing, so either this fellow had stuck it up his butt or he had an insane amount of hair-wax stuff up there to get it all spiky. However, Plasma did notice that Jorey's power level was unsuppressed and entirely unbound. Now - question remained simply if this was the suppressed state of Jorey, which Plasma concluded was not the case due to his choice of hiding. If this guy was capable of such abilities, surely he would suppress his own power level instead of hiding physically whilst spiritually available for the entire world to see! "PLASMA SENSE YOU WITH SENSING ABILITY. PLASMA CAN USE KI. PLASMA MANY TIMES STRONGER THAN THIS. PLASMA WEARING HEAVY STUFF ON PLASMA BODY. IT MAKE PLASMA STRONKER - GIFT FROM SAIYAN MENTOR - BUT WHO OR WHAT ARE YOU? YOU CANNOT USE KI LIKE DIS. YOU HIDE IN CAVE BUT I SENSE EASY! YOU DONE ANYTHING. . . ILLEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL? YOU DO ILLEGAL STUFF OR YOU GOOD LIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?" Which seemed to be the end of what Plasma had to 'calmly' say in a childish fashion as his sleek odd boots - at least one - was moved to rest on one rock as Plasma looked up at the Saiyan with a cheeky grin, as if confident in himself and his ability to discover cavemen. Primordial Cavemen. What if this guy was a genuine caveman though. . it would not fit though with the attire he had on though...

The situation right now was a dire one. As much as Jorey didn't want to show it, it definitely was a drastic and dire situation. The Saiyan thought he'd placed himself in the far reaches of Earth, where no one would be able to find him, until he was ready to come back out into the world. This would be where Jorey trained, this would be where Jorey learned how to sense Ki, this would be where Jorey learned how to control his Oozaru form, this would be where Jorey sorted a lot of stuff out inside of him, too. Ever since he met Ayu, he'd been experiencing some weird emotions and having some weird thoughts. He'd been thinking or feeling none of these things for his entire life, yet, somehow it reminded him of his childhood. It reminded him of before his family was killed, before he subjugated himself to a life of killing and destruction and lies and deceit, all due to him falling into a deep depression and hopelessness. Hope was a foreign concept, yet somehow, when he met Ayu, the word "hope" was able to pop into his head every now and then. If he wasn't careful, it'd pop into his vocabulary. Regardless of all that digression, that's where Jorey was at this very moment. He wanted to sort all these priorities out, both the physical and tangible, and the abstract and emotional. However, now he was interrupted by a being that was clearly shorter than him, and looked like a Frieza Race, but had distinct features of another race Jorey was very much unfamiliar with. What in the hell is going on here? There was a trigger word to the being in front of Jorey. It was when he said "Changeling." Really? Was something like that a trigger word to their race? The Saiyan would have never known; he just thought it was one of the many names of their race: Frieza Race, Changeling, Arcosian, Ice-jin. Then again, it was clear that this creature in front of Jorey was not any of those things. The amalgam of races inside of this living being in front of Jorey threw him off just as much as its reaction to being called a Changeling. Suddenly, the figure in front decided to put away their Ki blades. It was definitely not something Jorey was expecting, but it didn't seem to want to cause any harm to him. At least, not yet. This Saiyan didn't let his guard down completely, though. Even though his arm was still lowered because of his confusion brought on by him trying to figure out what this creature was, he still had Ki charging in it, ready to unleash it at the slightest sign of hostility. However, when he heard the creature speak to him, or rather yell at him, he wasn't expecting anything like that to happen. No, nothing about this situation made sense to Jorey. The way this creature spoke, the tone of its voice, the attitude it developed, the reason why it was yelling at Jorey, the fact that it was yelling in the first place, none of this made sense to the Saiyan. However, it was all clear and solid evidence that this being wasn't a Changeling, or wasn't just a Changeling. All in all, the Saiyan was stunned. This hadn't happened to him in a while, and if he was any close to the man he was before the attack on Orange City and before his encounter with Ayu, he would've tried to blast this creature away as soon as it tried to raise its voice at Jorey. Now, the once cold and ruthless Jorey was standing there, undoubtedly too confused to form words. In response to this whole first rant, the lone wolf couldn't help but to disperse his Ki entirely, letting it disappear in thin air, and utter one, singular word. "...What?"
The creature continued on mentioning a lot of different things that piqued Jorey's interest. It mentioned sensing abilities, and something called "Ki," that Jorey was wholly unfamiliar with. However, he figured that this "Ki" and the energy he was familiar with had to be related, somehow. It felt like too much of a coincidence to be unrelated. It mentioned something about "heavy stuff," about getting stronger (or rather getting "stronker"). Why did that word resonate with Jorey for some reason? "Stronker." What the hell is going on with me?
The creature mentioned something about a Saiyan mentor, which caused Jorey to think back on the conversation they had so far. It mentioned a name. What was that name it mentioned? "Callion," right? It sounds like a Saiyan name, but I've definitely never met this guy ever in my life. How many more Saiyans are there here?
The creature in front of Jorey ended his rant by asking if Jorey had done anything illegal, or if he was a good guy. The Saiyan laughed on the inside, not letting a single other emotion escape and be revealed on his face. Shit, what illegal stuff HAVEN'T I done? ...Wait, I haven't raped or molested anyone, AND I NEVER PLAN ON DOING THAT SHIT!! YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP!
Jorey took everything in that just happened. He had a lot of questions, and this creature in front of him had a lot of questions, too. It was obvious none of their questions were going to get answered if nothing happened. Considering everything that just happened was something that this Saiyan hadn't really done. Analysis of situations and determining what the best course of action was obviously something one would do. It was second nature to everyone, and it was no exception to Jorey, admittedly. However, the part that wasn't something he'd done was actually have the patience and the humility to think of what to do in this situation, so that both of them could leave with satisfied answers or without causing a scene. I'd really rather not cause damage to my new home/training grounds. Besides, this one is just as curious as I am. If I wanna get the answers I need, then I'm gonna have to make sure I don't set it off, and also answer all the questions it has satisfactorily.
Jorey sighed inside his head and closed his eyes a bit. What is happening to me?
The Saiyan reopened his eyes, still seeing the creature in front of him. He had a smirk painted on his face. No doubt, if someone like this was just saying that he could easily take on Jorey and could sense that, why would he have any reason not to be smug about it? Jorey would most likely be the same way. Regardless, the edge lord wasn't thinking about combat right now. No, this was no time for combat; this was a time for discussion, for social skills. Jorey said nothing as he started walking, and walked right past he creature in front of him, straight out of the entrance of the cave. He walked to the other side of the fire, turned around, and held his hand out in front of him, directed at the fire. This was Jorey's offer for the creature to have a seat. Just in case it didn't know what Jorey was doing, he voiced his intentions. "How 'bout you come over and sit down? If we're gonna talk, it's definitely gonna take a while. Might as well make ourselves comfortable."
Whether or not it sat at that moment and joined Jorey, the Saiyan would put his behind down on the ground, making himself comfortable. He didn't like that he couldn't use his tail to prop himself up and sit the way he wanted to sit, but it was all he could do that this moment. One wrong move could have him painted as a criminal and attacked. It was obvious Jorey couldn't entirely play the bad guy role he usually does in this situation. "Before we answer any of the questions we have, how 'bout we introduce ourselves? I'm Jorey, at least that's what I'm called."
The Saiyan paused for a moment, reflected on what he's doing at this current moment. Maybe, this was a good thing? Maybe, this was a beneficial relationship? He remembered something in his past, something someone said, about maintaining diplomatic relationships and appearances. Someone very close to him wanted to teach him the importance of maintaining good social relations with people in society, so that it's easier to get information out of them, easier to sabotage them if need be, but most importantly, easier to survive and be happy. Something inside Jorey resonated, and his eyes widened at realizing it. He shook it off quickly, not sure what exactly it was and too scared to find out at this current moment. He turned his attention to the creature in his presence, and asked his next question. "So, what questions do you have for me?"

Whilst that whole spectacle was occurring through the Saiyan’s moment of reflection to all the momentous information being hurled at him, Plasma could not help but slightly focus on the direction of where that immense power level was coursing from. It was worrisome, and the android’s innate ability to manipulate his own energy immediately came handy as he suppressed his entire power level down to the smallest bit he could possibly manage. Whatever this Saiyan was going to do – Plasma’s mind did not perceive him as a hostile being following that bamboozle, he pulled upon himself within these cavernous depths that was presumably some ancient cave man’s den. Plasma attention, physically, remained directed in the attention of the immense power in the distance – specifically his eyes – as the Saiyan kept doing whatever he did that possibly hurt himself in confusion Boy… If what the android felt was real, how in the world would he be capable of standing up for those incapables of defending themselves? Plasma grits his teeth as his mouth remained closed, his anxiety growing by the minute as he began calculating different outcomes of training and how he could possibly pull up to make a difference – never mind the monkey right before him, without knowing it was a genuine monkey. He was not a fan of it, but in his current state, the best he could was mingle with this foreigner who was doing questionable things inside this questionable cave in the middle of nowhere. Regretfully, Plasma turned his attention towards the Saiyan once more and eyed him up and down. If anything, Plasma’s attention was turned towards the inability of the fellow before him that seemingly could not manipulate his power – and at this rate he was essentially a light house for anyone on this world capable of sensing something outside their fridge. Yuck – if Plasma had to interact with this fellow for much longer, or any time at all, he would need to smack some training into his skull and get him to dull his senses before he ended up on the radar of whatever that thing in the distance was. Urgh. It was really coming to this situation was it not? Plasma’s inner changeling genetics yearned for him to scream monkey at the top of his lungs at the instinctual sensation that there was an ape among us. Scratching his crown, Plasma reconsidered his options within this very moment as this was incredibly dire. There was the opportunity of sticking around with this fellow who was sadly weaker, but still a considerable force to deal with somehow – and he was not that bad by the looks of it. If anything, it could be a pretty neat alliance between the two – a proper friendship and lots of chicken raiding from wherever the two could manage to get their hands on and dig in. It opened a lot of opportunities right here, but there were also other options – and other impressions to take in. Plasma’s hand reached down to his chin as he mimicked the sages of old and struck an inquisitive and thoughtful pose that beckoned the deepest of thoughts possible to man. Unfortunately for Plasma, he was not biologically a monkey male – he was something that was it, but also a lot more at the same time which enabled nothing more but chicken noises instead and a metallic ape banging instruments inside of his head. It was truly a shame for Plasma, but now the situation had changed as his thoughts were interrupted and the Saiyan walked right past him. Well, if Plasma had any impressions that this fellow was indeed physically and mentally evil on all levels except actually being it – then he had his answer right then and there. Loudly Exhaling, Plasma turned around on his heel and watched the fellow wander outside, and Plasma began to hover off the ground. You know – might as well get a physical and spiritual training in at the same time in these trying times, since everything was going to shit somewhere, with giant apes wandering around destroying cities and massive power levels sprouting up with smaller ones dying out. Dwelling on that thought, Plasma pondered once more as to how Callion was doing… Probably fine. Whatever – Plasma began spinning around in a vertical fashion as he hovered towards the Saiyan sitting by the campfire. Now, Plasma trajectory was not carefully planned out – so whatever slag and rock that was in the way was promptly flown through the sheer power of Plasma’s rock hard legs and abs, leaving behind his imprint in the rocky obstacles that dared oppose him. His eyes were cautious and his arms were crossed as he examined the fellow before him on every little detail, everything was getting examined – even that little bit of chicken between his teeth. Everything was being analysed by Plasma, and nothing was left unexamined. How about the two sat at the fire…? Really? Was this the method of approach this foreigner had chosen to use for diplomacy to Plasma, really? And now he was directing his hand to either show where Plasma should sit or he was reaching out to hold hands. Now, the thought was tempting but Plasma’s slow hovering was indeed very slow. Plasma simply watched the fellow awkwardly sit down on the ground as if trying to not sit on something intentionally beneath him. Was he sitting on some kind of jagged rock but thought it would be too awkward to get right back up on his feet and readjust himself or something? The possibilities were endless, but his hair looked funny and Plasma crashed through yet another rock as he maintained his calm and composed composure. Slowly hovering forward, Plasma would eventually come close enough where he could feel the heat of the fire and Jorey was within Plasma’s reach – which could spell a number of things for this stranger. He had lowered his guard, and Plasma was hovering as he was the next coming of God. His eyes trailed down to the skin of Jorey’s hand – examining it for any oddities or dirtiness, for Plasma was indeed very cleanly and hygienic about his life. You never know what you’ll eat – or what you will touch these days. It might be contagious living inside of a cave in the middle of nowhere. Callion above, guide Plasma’s action – and for once, Plasma followed his bionic heart and locked onto the guiding hand and reached out to grab it. If successful, Plasma would hold Jorey’s hand right above the fire – together, for Los Pollos Hermanos. It would be canonical to the series, but alas – not everything was meant to be presumably. Whether he was successful or not, which he probably was, Plasma would simply hover there as the heat from the fire continued to build up and he scratched his nose with his free hand. Now was the time for questions, and the situation was dire as his spider senses continued to tingle with every clash in the distance – that his sensing abilities picked up on. Distraught, Plasma listened to the introduction that Jorey gave – and was genuinely puzzled that the repeating word ‘Plasma’ that Plasma had screeched out in a ‘friendly’ manner had not struck Jorey as being the word of El Plasma Gus. Whatever the Saiyan was reflecting over inside of himself – that thriving conflict of development and reconsideration of his past actions and future actions to shape a present that was liveable for himself flew right over Plasma’s head as his tail elongated from his back and promptly impaled a bug behind – and gave it the suck. Oh, right – back to the situation at hand, did Plasma have any questions for him? The Android scratched his chin, presumably still holding Jorey’s blind hand right over the fire. He was regenerating every little burning sensation and boiling nerve that could not withstand the fire within. If anything – this had to be forged through fire and flame, and it would have to be done with determination. "AM PLASMA. PLASMA IS NOT CHANGELING. UNLESS CHANGELING COME FROM LAB WITH LOTS OF OF BEEP BOOP AND ELECTRONIC MACHINERY MANIPULATING GENETIC INFORMATION ON THE MOLECULAR LEVEL... BUT YES. AM PLASMA - HELLO JOREY. PLASMA MANY QUESTION. YOU A SAIYAN? YOU KNOW ANY MONKEY BUSINESS FROM ORANGE CITY OR AM JUST STRANGER AND ODD SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN CAVE IN MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?"
Plasma calmly questioned the Saiyan whilst watering his words with sheer joy and interest for this absolute stranger that was Jorey! Honestly, this might turn out for the better - and Jorey was not that bad by the looks of it so far! Just apart from the fact that he did indeed smell and had some questionable fetish for wearing strapping tight clothes, but besides that - he was a good fellow so far, so Plasma continued with the questions at hand! "I WUZ TRAINED UNDA SOME 'UMIE SAIYAN. REAL GOOD GIT HE WUZ. PLASMA WONDER WHERE HE IS NOW THOUGH. FINK I SENSE HIM IN CITY. YOU SENSE THAT RIGHT? YOU CAN SENSE, RIGHT? WHY YOU NO LOWER YOUR POWER THEN. BEEG POWAH IN DISTANCE WRECKING SHIT AND DESTROYING STUFF AND KILLING PEOPLE I FINK. SENSED SOME ENERGY SIGNATURES DIP DOWN. SO MIGHT BE WORSE. UNLESS, YOU ALREADY KNOW? IF YOU DO, YOU HIDING POWAH OR WHAT?" Plasma followed up with before lowering himself down towards the earth, ceasing his hovering and letting go of Jorey's hand if he was still holding onto it or hadn't broken it so far. Every crucial detail had to be accounted for, and Plasma ensured to not repeat the mistake that Jorey did - which was sitting on some uncomfortable jagged rock and not wanting to make an awkward scene out of it. Besides that - Plasma eagerly looked at Jorey as the fiery flames illuminated the dumbass face Plasma had.wc 1679 | 4552 TWC

Taking such a different approach to the situation at hand made even Jorey surprised. He never thought about sitting down to think about something or even talk something out beforehand, why now? Was it because of his encounter with Ayu? No, not likely, at least. Was it because of his forced transformation into an Oozaru that resulted in a whole city being destroyed? No, Jorey has been through this situation before. At least, that's what he thought beforehand. After thinking about it just a little bit more, he realized that the situation he was in was very unique. He hadn't been this low before. He thought about it this way: Jorey himself was stranded on a planet with no help. Sure, he may have been stranded (technically) on many different planets with no help beforehand. He definitely has no help no matter where he goes, being a Saiyan with no name other than "Jorey" and no history or meaning to anyone. He is practically a nobody that makes his earnings from killing, stealing, enslaving, and exploiting. He will have no help until the day he dies. As such, he's basically stranded on this planet with no communication. Sure, there have been instances where he had to turn into a Great Ape. His scouter may have been destroyed and he had to get a new one. Cycles like that may continue or even occur just because of dire situations, or because they plan it out to be that way. However, Jorey has no scouter, and no way to get another scouter. Not to mention, he pod is on its last legs. If he exits the atmosphere with the state it's in right now, he risks his whole life. It'd be better to stay on this planet. Thus, he's stranded on Earth, with no one to look out for him but himself. Not to mention, Jorey himself had been betrayed by someone he didn't even know. While he wasn't necessarily upset at him for it and understands stuff like this could happen, reflecting on the whole situation shifted emotions and feelings inside Jorey. Many of these emotions were confusion, brought on by what he should really do now. If he made one wrong move, the people of Earth could turn on him and have him executed. The Saiyan needed to play his cards right to survive, since it was highly likely that Saiyans were all suspect on this planet, and this individual in front of Jorey was proving that to the T. Lay low, play smart, survive. That's the course of action Jorey had to take, and because this action involved a lot of alone time and a lot of silence, he had a lot of time to reflect. Reflection was another thing Jorey didn't do a lot, but now the angsty Saiyan couldn't help but think about what he'd have to change to survive. In light of all this, the lone wolf decided to take a chance and try a peaceful method out as an option. What information would he have to tell? What information could he actually tell? One wrong move and he could set off this creature in front of him, and that's the last thing Jorey would want to do. Before long, interacting with this individual that quite literally dropped out of nowhere was going to end up being a strange occurrence. How strange exactly? Picture it yourself: a strange alien looking creature comes out of nowhere, wields blades at you for a minute, puts them away and starts yelling at you, only to then turn around, hover in the air, and slowly float towards you while breaking through every single rock and wall that comes in its way. While he watched all this unfold in front of him, Jorey didn't know what face to make. In fact, he just kept making the same neutral face he has, because so many emotions and thoughts were running through him that he couldn't even think about concentrating on one to display on his character. Nothing made sense, and it hurt so much to try and make sense of this. When Jorey put his hand out offering a seat, the creature must have thought it was to shake hands, and reached out and grabbed onto it. The thing was, it wouldn't let go, and Jorey wasn't going to try and make it let him go or else he'd anger it. ...I'm making a terrible mistake right now, aren't I?
With the both of them holding their hands together over the fire, which wasn't the most ideal position for Jorey to find himself in, the two individuals started talking. Jorey introduced himself, and the creature introduced itself as well. It was saying something about plasma over and over again beforehand, but the Saiyan didn't realize that was the creature's name. Well, it was good that he definitely knew it now. Before he knew it, the Saiyan was asked rapid fire questions by Plasma, without getting any break in between. He knew he had to answer all of them, but the most recent question would be the one Jorey would answer first. Jorey would stay calm in this situation, despite having his hand over a fire, which was slowly starting to annoy him and burn him. Everything about this situation had this man baffled. While Plasma was asking Jorey questions, he slowly lowered himself to the floor and sat down, letting go of the Saiyan's hand. The confused Saiyan held it there for a second, and then retracted it, bringing it back to himself. Before answering the rapid fire questions Plasma had for him, Jorey sighed and leaned back a bit. "Nah, I can't sense anything. You mentioned something about 'Ki' beforehand, that's what people on this planet call 'energy,' right? If that’s the case, I can't sense anything. Whatever it is you sense is completely invisible to me. So, 'cuz of that, whatever you sense on me right now is all I have. I'm not hiding any of my power." So, there's some really large power in the distance destroying shit right now? I wonder if that's Quash or Athren. What the hell is going on over there?
Jorey would get no answers to that, unfortunately. He had no relationships with anyone, so getting news on other fighters this planet has to offer is a distant dream. Fixing his attention back on the situation at hand, Jorey thought about what he would answer next. It would seem that Plasma was made in a lab. Some sort of artificial lifeform? Jorey had never met anything like that recently, or at least he thinks he hasn't met anything like that. It was interesting. The Saiyan chuckled a little bit, finding it amusing how Plasma described himself and reflecting on it. "And, no, Changelings aren't made in labs, I think. From what I heard, Changelings are made when the most hated person in existence takes a shit. The shit is the Changeling. A lotta the ones I've met in my life are racist and have superiority complexes. They'll do anything to make it to the top, even if it means betraying their own blood brother."
Now came the difficult part. The questions about Saiyans and Orange City infected Jorey like the plague and hovered in his mind ceaselessly. It nagged at him as he asked himself so many different important questions. Does he come out and say it? Does he just admit he's a Saiyan and that he was involved in the attack? Does he deflect as best as he can? Does he just deny it all? Of course, the last one seemed like the best solution, but something inside Jorey just didn't allow him to say it, or even want to consider it a viable option. It was his pride as a Saiyan. If he gets rid of his pride right now and denies he's a Saiyan, what does that make him? A liar, obviously, but to deny one's whole heritage and race just like that? How could someone do such a thing? Jorey was indeed a proud Saiyan. Just because he doesn't care much about the things that are going on in his home planet, or just because he doesn't have a history of interacting with his kind much, doesn't make him any less a Saiyan. He is still a Saiyan, and he will proclaim it until the day he dies that he is; but this was also probably the worst time to say it. Just one time wouldn't hurt, right? Just denying he's a Saiyan as a white lie wouldn't hurt. He's only denying it to ease the mind of the person in front of him. Jorey didn't want to set Plasma off, so lying about it wasn't a bad thing, right? All these thoughts flew through Jorey's mind in a split second, though it felt like he was thinking about it for an eternity. Jorey lifted his head up to the sky and leaned back some more. He finally answered Plasma's question, in what would feel like no time for the artificial lifeform, but forever for the Saiyan. "I am."
Jorey dropped his head to be center, looking right at Plasma with sincere and honest eyes. "I'm a Saiyan."
While he said that, he willed his tail out of his bodysuit, out of his cloak, and revealed it to Plasma. Jorey continued immediately. "And, I can also tell you about the things that happened at Orange City. I know all about the 'monkey business' that happened there, unfortunately. I wish I knew nothing about it."
Jorey looked down, recalling the events of what happened at Orange City, before confessing to it all out loud. "There are two other Saiyans you should be wary of, if you wanna know about Orange City. One named 'Quash,' and another named 'Athren.' On that night, I happened to be sightseeing. I still don't know this planet very well, since I just got here not too long ago, so I wanted to get familiar with it. While I was at Orange City, I was able to pick up two other energy signatures from my scouter, that is now non-existent due to the events that happened there. They were both the people I mentioned before. I was wondering why they were all there on that building, but it all made sense way too soon. The Saiyan Athren tricked Quash and I into looking at the moon, against our will. We were turned into Great Apes, and since I have no control over myself as a Great Ape, I ended up going on a rampage. I hurt a lotta innocent people, destroyed a lotta lives, and so did Quash. Neither one of us wanted that to happen. Hell, I just wanted to keep a low profile on this planet; just be able to chill out here and not run into any problems. Now, I can't do that at all, thanks to Athren. He took advantage of us, and I still don't know why he made us look at the moon and go on a rampage. It just doesn't make any sense to me."
Jorey paused for a little bit, trying to pick his brain for a possible answer to this own question. He couldn't find one, and he didn't expect to find one until he finds out more about the situation, either from Athren himself, or from someone else who may know much more about the politics and situations on Earth than he himself does. It wouldn't hurt to try and find out. Then, Jorey would be able to figure out for himself if Athren really is just an asshole, or if there was a reason for all this. One more thought crossed into Jorey's mind, now that he thought about it. "Oh, and you don't gotta worry about Quash. From what I can tell, he's a good guy, very kind. He didn't seem like the kinda person to wanna intentionally destroy a lotta lives for no reason. I would know. If he was that kinda person, then he woulda just ganged up on me with Athren, forced me to look at the moon, and that would be it. Besides, something about that situation made me feel like Athren didn't expect me to be there, and that he only predicted for Quash to be there...I guess I just helped fan the fires of chaos, at that point."
Jorey stopped talking after explaining the whole situation. He looked to Plasma, and the first thing he wondered is how the artificial lifeform would take this situation. Would he charge at Jorey and try to fight him for it? Would he understand? He'd hoped it would be the latter, or at least some sort of situation where it didn't involve him trying to take on Jorey and avenge a bunch of innocent people. Jorey would acknowledge it until the day he died; he never wanted to go out of his way to do that to Orange City. Word Count: 2,178
