It was the first time Zero had come to the north, he figured it would be nice and home like with the added layers of ice and snow. He wondered just how much like home it would look like. The Duo had taken the Namekian craft as it was faster than the cars they had been stealing and even the pace they could fly at. He had to give it his brother he had really done well picking this craft for the two of them. It had made excellent time on their travels around the Earth, saved them cost on living as they now lived out of the ship, and training area was nothing to joke at either. Over all it had been great, it even fit their little minion Liari who had taken Zero up on his offer to come and stay with them. Unlike the brothers Liari had the ability to sense Ki and other's powers so she always knew where home was when he was ready to return to it so they had little need to stay stationed in a single spot.
As Zero piloted the ship towards the North he took a long gaze outside of the view port to see the ice caps starting to appear below them. "Do you think we will feel some type emotions seeing a place that would resemble home in the slightest? " Zero was musing the question over in his own head unsure if he too would feel some type of way about being in a climate like home. One thing he was surprised about was just how many different environments were out there on this planet. He had been to three so far, a vast wooded jungle like area, the city normalized climate, and the beach so far which was tropical. Now they were going to a fourth and he had heard of another. The longer he spent on this planet the more sure he would be that this planet was a floating gem in the trading fields of Planets. It would sell for a very large some of wealth. Possibly enough to start and fund an army. "Do you think we could take this planet over brother? I often wonder how much this planet would sell or generate for us if we did such a thing." Of course Zero had a rough idea of what it would go for but was unsure and thought his brother's insight might help him narrow it down.

Ryme was still getting used to being so restricted in their new ship. Still, it was nice having somewhere to call home again. He dreamed of when they'd have their space base, with a full fleet of fighters and minions. By then they'd have multiple conquered cities, he still didn't see Earth as their first planet. In Ryme's opinion, it would be too heavily fought over, better to take a planet of lesser importance. Vegeta or even Namek seemed viable to him. Still, he had a feeling that between Lirai and his brother that he'd be outvoted soon.
He'd think about what was the answer to his brother's first question. He didn't feel homesick or anything similar. Ryme's problem was that he'd never seen Frost as a home. These cold lands did bear some resemblance, but they failed to capture its loneliness for Ryme. As they continued to plunge deeper into the frosty biome, Ryme would shiver in anticipation. The ridiculous plots that he was convinced to do by his brother.
"I think they're both cold, but Frost's cold is deeper than physical. At least that's the best way I can explain it brother."
Ryme would stop to think more about the weird relationship he had with his homeworld. He had assumed most of his hate was for his people, it was weird to realize that some of it extended to the planet itself. He'd have to remember that if he ever had to lie about his patriotism. Which would inevitably happen as soon as his group enacted one of their plans. The PTO would recognize their potential, but it was also a warning that they still belonged to another. His brother's next question was the one Ryme had hoped been dismissed. He didn't know what it was about the earth that inspired every villain to want to take it over. He'd seen the fall of many dictators over Earth.
"You know I oppose the idea, Earth is a great planet, but I feel like it's fought over far too much. We'd have to be here all the time, and assume that any enemies could just fund a rebel sect to fight against us at any time. Then don't get me started on the optics, but I believe Liari might just agree with you yet. I don't think I"ll be convinced but I'll keep an open mind for you brother."
He'd respond to his brother's second question quickly, Ryme hated the idea. There was something about Earth's history that made it feel cursed to Ryme. Even if they managed to take control of the whole planet he couldn't imagine how many rebellions they'd be dealing with. Just the sheer amount of time taken to keep control of the government was the real deterrence. Who would want to deal with guerilla fighters a year in, maybe the year after that? Ryme would shudder again, this time at the thought of the Earth nightmare. He hoped his brother wouldn't be too upset by his answer.

It had been a while since Zerori had traveled from her typical home base of operations to a continent that was this cold. Sure, she’d visit North City but if you had to compare the slightly inconvenient temperatures to the icy sub-zero ones of the wilderness, it would be like comparing apples to oranges. It just wasn’t the same. Still, she’d gotten a tip from a semi-reliable source that there were possible wreckage that could be salvaged for parts. Given the success of her blaster line that she’d negotiated (threatened) with another company, she had more motivation than ever to keep up with the inventive tendencies. Training was… slow going, but she at least scheduled some time between her business ventures to not be too out of shape.
“-Wish this place just wasn’t so fuckin’ COLD!” Zerori grumbled, bundled up as much as she could to keep mobile while she used her Shadow Claws (Okay, so she was doing SOME training while doing work) to dig through where only the slightest visible signs of machinery were present. It was old but kept in oddly satisfactory shape. An odd outlier since most snow had a penchant for destroying metal. As she huffed and dug, the black and red-outlined claws throwing snow and ice away to gradually reveal more of the machine, her mind would work passively.
Is it the metal that is cold resistant? This could be fuckin’ farming equipment for all I know but if locals of North City made a cold-resistant metal to continue work that would make for an interesting addition to armor. Why abandon it, though? Was there a defect or some kind of flaw or-? In the middle of her musings, almost not catching it while being so lost in her task and thoughts, the sudden spike of an energy caught her attention. She stopped, the vectors of her Shadow Claws that originated from the small of her back looming passively over her and she looked around while catching her breath.
A sense of familiarity gently teased at the forefront of her memory before she blinked and then brought her flesh hand up to her face - palming her forehead in frustration, “Not you two again… Didn’t have enough fun kicking my ass last time?” She questioned silently to herself, recalling the two Changelings from back in the city that were… weirdly moral. She honestly thought they just got their kicks out of acting morally superior and didn’t actually give a shit about obeying the law.
Curious as to why they were here, Zerori looked up to the aircraft that she sensed them in and crossed her arms before allowing her Shadow Claws to dissipate. If he wants a rematch, I’ll need all the strength I can get. She just had to wait for them to either come to her or fuck off somewhere, and she had a gut feeling they weren’t going anywhere.

Zero looked over to Ryme as he plotted a course for them to land the ship. He was becoming quite the pilot in his mind at least. Still, he looked forward to the day he could just relax and train during travel times instead of always piloting around. Perhaps once they got the capital for a war ship. "Well you are the tactical one. Still, even if we took it over just to sell it to the highest bidder perhaps that would be simpler. Though I question if my ambitions are just getting the better of me. It is simply the numbers that draw me into it. " Zero exhaled before lowering the ship down to a clearing in the snow. The computer's readouts showed the ground here was solid and there was a low chance of a collapse at their weight. Throttling down the thrusters as he put the ship into a decline he looked back forward to make sure he was in a good spot with his own eyes. It would do, and so the ship touched down with a gentle rock as the landing gear deployed fully seconds before contact was made with the ground. He started his post-flight check and ran some quick numbers to see how those parts he had got from the scavenge run had worked. It had improved fuel efficiency by over fifteen percent, which was good enough for him.
Standing from his seated position he looked out the viewing port and took in the sites of the Northern snow. It was not that he was missing home at this moment, or that he wished he was there. It was just a reminder of what awaited him back on Frost. Their father Chiller whom he still needed to take out. From his astral projection training, he knew or at least heavily thought he was still no match for his father. There was nothing he could do about that now, they needed to get stronger yes but they had to finish gaining details of this planet for the PTO. If the USD had wanted it so bad then it had to be worth something. So far it was worth too much not to slowly take over. At least if they did it in the name of the PTO they might get backing and a base built to protect it from future takeovers. This would free the brother to move on and carry out their own plans. Still, they needed to find some minions to start getting things into motion.
"Well let us get to it. "
With that said he walked over to the door and pressed the access hatch switch, the rear door folded down and allowed them to freely exit the ship from the side. They could have used the access port in the center of the ship, but this looked better or so he thought. It was a power move rather than walking from underneath a ship it was better to walk out the side of one. Zero pulled firmly on his gloves and fixed his cloak which was fitted to his armor. The armor was destructive and served no combat purpose, maybe one day if he had to fight more he would do so, but for now, there was nothing that he needed from the armor besides the look it gave off.
Unable to sense Ki signatures he had no idea they had flown over Zerori, nor that she was even in this region. Unless Ryme had done some sort of training he was not privy to he was sure his brother was likewise just as dull as to picking up other people's powers. They would have to encounter her the old fashion way, and perhaps someone else too.

Ryme would nod his head, listening to his brother's reasons for wanting earth. It was impossible to tell when one was overreaching, better to get slapped than never try. That's what Zero expressed with Earth, even if their goal was to sell it off he still wanted it. This might get in the way of his next adventure. However, Ryme's brother was sold on the idea, this was not a battle he was interested in turning into a war. They would have to find a compromise, he'd talk to him later tonight. Ryme didn't see Earth as worth the trouble, but maybe he was overestimating the USD. He had heard that their major base had been wiped out. Their presence on earth could be the lowest of their history. The beeping of the computer readouts would shift Ryme's attention back to the physical.
He'd hop out of his chair and start looking through the array of windows. It was one of his favorite features of the namekian vessel. He didn't have to wonder what his brother thought of this hobby. The outside was another beautiful biome of snow. The peace that the cold had on this world compared to the ominous pressure of Frost was dangerous. He wanted to drop his guard more in a place like this versus Frost. He'd hear the docking procedures complete and his brother would start to walk out of the ship, motioning for Ryme to follow.
Ryme's super-weighted clothes were finally coming in handy. They weren't particularly warm, but they worked perfectly as a windshield. Changelings didn't perceive the temperature scale the same as humans. If Ryme had a choice he did prefer the heat, bathing in the sun had been one of his favorite hobbies on Earth. As he walked out the side of the ship, he'd look over at his brother smiling.
"Do we want to race? Or are you thinking this will be more of a long thing?"
Either way, Ryme's body would tense as he waited for his brother's answer. He didn't expect him to race, but just in case he needed every advantage he could get to win. They didn't compete often anymore, he knew now that they had a gravity chamber that would at least change. He'd look forward to their spars, his brother was a very giving partner when they trained. So he didn't worry about not being able to practice a scenario, and Ryme tried to reciprocate even though his melee skills left much to be desired.
He wondered what they'd find in their adventure today, Earth had proven to have many hidden fruits. They were all small things, so it wasn't surprising that they were overlooked. Things like food, atmosphere, music the list could go on. Earthling had a deeper interest in the arts than other civilizations he had seen. Though he was starting to grow tired of being on the same planet, they had promised to travel all around. So far their adventure had been tied to Earth.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched the ship get ever closer and closer, convinced completely that she was going to be the target in their sights. However, in spite of everything pointing to that conclusion… the ship would seemingly stop and upon seeing the hatch open for the two to exit the ship, it wasn’t her direction they were going in! Zerori’s eyes widened, completely thrown for a loop as she watched the spike-headed brother leave the ship with his brother likely to follow suit not too far behind. She couldn’t see much of them besides their figures on the ship overhead, but from what she could glean from them - they had no idea she was here.
Now she just had to consider if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Her power wasn’t so puny that she couldn’t be sensed by most with a scouter or whatever natural abilities they had but didn’t she NOT want to be on their radar? After a moment of thinking, her arms coming up to cross over her chest with a deep frown of thought… Zerori’s shoulders would soon slump with the gross realization that she was actually looking forward to seeing what these two were up to. Last time she’d met them, they were playing the role of what she assumed were heroes in some greatly misconstrued situation.
Jorey hadn’t really helped much with the situation but hey, they had fun!
With a final shake of her head, Zerori would call out to them from the ground - assuming they hadn’t taken off quite yet, “And to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you two again?!” Her voice carried along the wind and echoed along the calm, quiet isolated peaks of the snow. If they really couldn’t sense or power or were already on their way, she’d jump into the air to follow them at a distance and see just what exactly they were up to. “Don’t tell me you guys come up to the north for a vacation now and then,” She teased, still cautious but willing to at least defer to words first before initiating any conflict.
As she spoke her piece and maintained what she considered a polite conversation, she'd take in the forms of these two, paying closer attention to the details that made them so different. From what she gathered last time Zero, with the spikes on his head, was the more confrontational than his brother whom was had a more sleek body in comparison. They clothing choices were a bit different, too, but at the moment the main differences were their skin colors that contrasted each other greatly. Her scrap search could wait for a little while; right now, all she wanted to do was take a break and warm her tail up somewhere.

His brother had suggested the silliest thing, a race. Though he had to admit this could be a great chance to see if his brother had been keeping up with his training as Zero had or if he had been bingeing too much of that Late Night TV with that wild rascal of a Host Johnny Beavverson. He always found a way to push the edge of political matters through humor and skits. Zero had to admit that most of the time they were funny and helped bridge the gap between Earth's social standards and how their political party systems worked. So maybe Zero would race his brother. A sly smile started to creep onto his lips as he parted them to speak. "You know Brother, why." His words are cut off by a loud-speaking woman, with a voice that seemed as if he had heard it before. When her turned his horned head to see who it was that was speaking to them, Zero recognized this female Saiyan anyway. She sure did have a lot of questions and somehow thought she was on good enough terms with them to know the answer she sought. Growling slightly Zero shot daggers at her through his eyes, the red hues zeroed in on her face. If looks could kill and all that jazz would really fit the standing right here.
"Zerori, what a pleasure? Hm, well the answer is that my dear it is hard to not feel pleasure when your eyes set upon two higher states of beings than yourself. Do try and control yourself. " He'd let Ryme answer the question about the vacation, Zero watched the Saiyan's face waiting to read it like a postcard, scan it for anything of importance and toss it away to the trash. can. He wondered what sort of theft she was up to these days. he figured it would be best to ask directly, see if they could speed this along, this planet was not going to get an appraisal by itself.
It was their turn to ask the questions now. "What of you, what are you taking for yourself this time? You know if you need a job, you seemed strong enough to be doing bodyguard work at least. You should ask us for a job, we can show you what earning real money feels like. I am sure there will be more than enough for you to do. You can even help me figure something out about your kind." Zero was sure Ryme was wondering what he was getting at, but that had to start somewhere right? Was it not another earth saying that history repeated itself, well let's allow history to do just that but with a twist. They needed to start forming their team leaders or even start getting a single squad together of some of the strongest people they had encountered. While no one they had met on this planet even came close to putting out the power that Ryme or Zero did, they still had a few that were worth taking note of. Sadly, this woman had just been one of them. Talent was needed and she had some that was all there was to it, so it was time to see what she would say to his offer.

Their moment as brothers would be cut short by the harlot from the bank. Well, harlot, probably wasn't the correct word, but Ryme was upset by his ruined moment with his brother. He thought that they'd be able to go on a race and then have a bonding moment like in the Earthling movies. Instead, It was the head monkey in charge of the bank. She was at least more reasonable than that other one, Ryme couldn't recall his name. She asked them what they were doing here, to be fair, it was suspicious to land next to a person with a ship. I can't invest in a scouter soon enough, we keep running into people by complete accident. Sooner or later they'll figure it out.
"We came to see how it compared to our homeworld. If you had to choose, would you pick Vegeta or Earth?"
Ryme would speak right after his brother answering her question and asking one in kind. He knew one thing earthlings had a hard time dealing with was honesty. In response, Ryme had adopted the tactic pretty well so far, only lying by half-truths, it had been extremely effective. People never expected to know all the information, and if things went wrong you could always feign ignorance. There was more than one opportunity he'd be feigning ignorance on the outcomes of. Unfortunately, progress was carried on the back of the sacrifice. They needed results faster than the typical leader, so they would have to take a riskier path.
It seems his brother was thinking the same, though his execution was far different. He offered the woman a spot in their organization, well at least a trial spot. Ryme kept his face neutral at his asking, he didn't want to appear surprised by the offer. He doubted the women would accept anyways, most Sayians had an intense hatred for Changelings. It made their calls of Changelings being racist even more humorous. Though if she accepted, that'd mean another mouth to feed on the ship. They had already made plans for Ryme to go off by himself pretty soon. There were juicy rumors about an artifact that the brothers had long kept their eyes on.
If he had to pick a monkey, his mind would always subconsciously drift towards Dr. Donkey Kong. His brother didn't particularly like him, but he had a certain charm about him. If he ever showed any anger or some evil tendencies Ryme would have to enslave him. Just another reason to increase his strength so Master Babidi finds him worthy. Then he wouldn't need to do this lengthy route of becoming "friends" to gain more allies. It was a tireless service.

She knew that Zero was going to be a pain in the ass - they’d only met once but he sure as hell made enough of an impression on her. So when her question was met with the Grade A sarcasm and holier-than-thou attitude, the hybrid woman could only roll her eyes with an annoyed and low growl in the back of her throat. Yeah, they were definitely NOT going to get along. His follow-up question was even WORSE as he was either jesting about her being up to no good or honestly thought she was just some second-rate thief. Well, the joke was on him.
She was a fan-TASTIC thief. Unfortunately for his racism biases, she wasn’t at any risk with the law. “Sorry, that’s a trade secret,” She retorted, steam nearly rolling off of her body as she tried to temper down her indignation. "If it means that much to you, however, I can assure you that I've got reason from the city to be here." She didn't but she knew he didn't give a shit to find out. Still, while it was also hidden behind a poor choice of words, Zerori could smell the hint of an offer that was being presented. He might have sounded like some kind of slave-driver (and probably was) but it didn’t escape her notice that he seemed to be interested in her strength. “I dunno, what kind of benefits do you offer besides glib banter?” All teasing aside, Zerori would think very seriously about his offer.
The last time they’d met, he’d made it clear that he was working the city to his advantage and, if West City was any indication since she’d heard about it on TV, he was actually making good on his ambitions. She could use that, even if it wouldn’t look good on her. All she had to do was make sure that her ‘Red Doll’ persona was under lock and key while she was working for him. Making a little cash on the side in the meantime… assuming he actually paid his employees.
Zerori turned to Ryme, whom had answered her question and asked one in return that had actually caught her off guard. She blinked, giving a soft ‘hm’ at the question before she looked away and actually thought about that one too. “... Earth.” She turned back to Ryme, glancing between the brothers, “Vegeta is Vegeta and, honestly, is there really a better explanation than that?” There might have been - a personal one, but it wasn’t something Zerori was willing to go into. After a moment of tossing the idea around, Zerori would roll her eyes and at least give something of an answer to Zero’s offer.
“You want me to work for you and I’m not against it, but I don’t play well with others. If you want me, you’re gonna have to make compromises,” Summoning a small folder with her magic that she’d drafted for most business occasions (and a power play to show that she wasn’t ‘exactly’ like her ‘people’) Zerori floated over to offer the folder to Zero. “Inside are my terms; simplified as well, but don’t get your armor cracked-” She smirked. “It’s standard procedure with most of my business meetings.” Inside, he’d find that her terms were simple: She’d have access to locations he deemed accessible to do her job, she’d be on a ‘contact-only’ basis so as to not feel tethered to his business and lastly - her pay. On the condition that she’d fulfill contracts, Zerori would be asking for approximately 1,000 zeni every month.
She floated away from him, crossing her arms, “Good help doesn’t come cheap, but I know how to work a Zeni.”

She matched his sarcasm with every bit of sass he was expecting from her, unlike that baboon she had been with when they first met she had actual skills when it came to the game of smack talk, a trait he loved to find in others. While she was in fact and always would be on a lower plane of life than he was Zero was surprised that she liked Earth over Vegeta. He never thought he would find a Saiyan who had, but then again all the Saiyans he had met were like gods to the normal humans here, which made him and Ryme even higher than Gods to those of Earth. Zero took note of the backstory he had displayed though that had led to her answering her preference of Earth over Vegeta. He was proud, his brother was quick with redirection and quickly had turned the talk to her instead of on them. Her reasons were that Vegeta was Vegeta, he was not sure if that was because the USD had ownership over them or because she had grown tired of the trivial lifestyle that was expected of a person who lived on Vegeta. Either way, he could not blame her, for one he despised the simple nature of a saiyan with only the sole goal of being stronger, it was such an unimpressive goal. Strength with no true sight was pointless, they seemed to only want to get stronger to fight stronger people and none of them had the ambition or drive to use that power for anything other than just fighting. Zero had the goals of getting stronger sure, but that was only so that he could amass an army, grow their ranks, and ensure his company's take over from his father would be successful with minimum effort or loss on his part.
What had surprised him the most about this saiyan woman was how she poofed outa folder, the contract details she had written and prepared were impressive but she had used magic. He had seen Master Babadi do such things before and he was the first in all his 70 years of life, Zerori now the second. Where did a monkey learn to do such a trick? It was honestly mind-blowing to even think about. He listened to her summed-up demand and snatched the folder out of the air. Opening up h half expected a prank to unfold in his face, but it was indeed a contract. He did a quick look through and heard her price. It would be fair, and with her as a contract agent that would also play in his favor. She would not be using his Logo so he could send her on jobs that he could not trust others with, or that were at higher risk. If she died, oh well no harm done and nothing pointing back to him. He would be able to find a way to ensure her payment and their communications would be hidden from the world.
"Well." He dropped his act and started to speak honestly meaning he was no longer playing a role but being his true self. "While my Brother and I will have to review this contract with our legal department, your wage is fair enough. If we decided to take you on know that you will be required to sign one of these yourself, a nondisclosure agreement I think they are called on this planet, and a liability clause. As per the benefits, room, and board, training equipment, health, and dental, varying from species to species of course, and workplace violence. " Yes, he meant that last one. He was not one to dull around the fact that for someone like her, Maycair, or Liari there was a different standard of Jobs for them. Though since all of them had that saiyan thrill for a fight he did not see how it would be an issue.

Another inch towards his development towards understanding, he had a theory that most of the smarter sayians didn't enjoy Vegeta. Ryme suspected her intelligence, but he hadn't expected her to be smart enough to consider employment. He would fake a cough to cover his surprise, she'd immediately go into terms. Already being prepared to go into negotiations was also an impressive feat, being aware of one's strength and marketing it. She seemed to absorb the earthling idea of capitalism, it was a riveting concept Ryme had to admit. Still, he preferred his, though the earthlings referred to it as archaic. After his brother looked over the terms, Ryme too would glance at them. It was an amalgamation of contract with retainer work. The terms seemed honest enough, and it was certainly within their price range of affordability.
His brother had a good eye for talent, so Ryme wouldn't doubt him now. He'd listen to the spiel about the benefits of working for him. It was something that he had grown accustomed to as a child with his father making offers wherever he landed. No matter where they ended up one thing was for certain, father always had room for more employees. That was an attitude that Zero had picked up as well, Ryme saw its uses, but like all things it needed regulation. That was typically his job, whether it was through the finances, compliance, or human resources. Once his brother was done with his side of the house Ryme would summarize his succinctly.
"If you have any problems that could affect the workplace, you'll see me. If, you're accepted, of course."
Ryme would think about their current roster, they would need to acquire more capital for their growing organization. It still wasn't fully defined what their role was going to be. The brothers had gone back and forth on whether the ultimate goal was to own the PTO or make their own. As they employed more, and their strength grew, the looming question only seemed to grow larger. That was the main focus of Ryme's thoughts as he stared at Zerori.
He'd feel his eye's looking at their peripherals expecting to see the guiding hand of the scouter. The ghost feeling was still there, Ryme had been so busy with all their projects, he had never gotten around to acquiring a scouter. That and he still needed to acquire a set of rings he had heard about. They could help augment his magic and ki together to help him in his goal of training under master Babidi.

Zerori looked between the brothers as they looked over her contract, taking as much satisfaction as she could with their surprise without showing even a little bit of a smug reaction. She wanted to - Oh, she wanted to give them the dirtiest look as they looked over her terms and likely questioned just who the fuck she was and why she was so organized. Yet, for the sake of keeping her trump card for later, Zerori just floated there patiently. She’d even materialized a coin to flip in her hand just before Zero would finally make his final decisions. Which were, surprisingly, positive. Though she’d carefully schooled her features, Zerori would dismiss the coin back into the ether and bring her hands to her hips as she took in the conditions both of them had set for her.
“Seems easy enough. I’ve got some contact information on there; just send me where the ‘Room and Board’ is and I’ll probably set up something basic to work with,” She gave a shrug at the very last mentions both had made and grinned, “I’ll be sure to keep it to a minimum. Training is training, though, so could you really blame me if someone gets hurt there?” It was rhetorical but the feeling was there that she was going to be kept at a higher standard than most.
While not in their little club officially, Zerori couldn’t help but ask, “Any employees I should know about that caught both of your interests?” She couldn’t have been the only one getting cozy with the Changeling brothers. If she was, well… that was a crime of opportunity on its own that she had to exploit at some point. She crossed her arms, dropping the smile as she appeared more serious than before, “If there’s anyone that I’ve got beef with then there may be some complications with your conditions. Not that I’m going to kill them or anything but- well, you know how we Saiyans can be.”
It was only a matter of time before they asked the winning question and she was already thinking of just how she was going to explain things to them. Assuming, of course, they were even interested in what else she was beyond her tailed heritage. Being a Demon was always a little fun to explain to normies.

In this period in time, there was no one other than Liari. Zero carefully thought the question out and chuckled. "The only person currently would be a small blue child-like creature who goes by Liari. She is not an employee per se, but a bit of a project of mine. We are helping each other out you see. Though I doubt you would present too much a threat to her. " Zero glanced at his brother and gave him a nod. While he had never fought the saiyan woman like his brother he had taken her intellect into account. Before she could work for them though, it would be important for her to know just where she stood.
"As far as any beef goes, all matters as my brother said should be running through him. We shall deal with it so neither of you may be forced to die. Now then, shall we do a physical test to see where you currently stand? I do wish to note where you stand currently. "
Zero looked back to Ryme as he grinned. "Shall we play a game of rock paper scissors to see who does this portion of the interview? Zero did not wish to rob Ryme of any of the fun. Besides, it was enough to offer at least to show his brother that he valued his input and had no issues with letting Ryme do the testing. They were about the same in power anyway even though both were wearing Super heavyweights. He wagered that they could probably handle this testing without removing them, though if that was needed then it would have to be done.
Zero was serious about hiring those who would fight for him, he did not want people representing him and they be fodder. He wanted a truly elite team under them, a few strong over a mass of weak. While Masses had the number game, it had always been his understanding that the strongest always won, no matter how many people they might have been. It was a theory Zero was sure was correct. There was going to come a time and a place where he would need these people to fight in his stead, if they were to do that they must be an imagine of the Ika's and show their might, command respect, and destroy everything that stood in his way.

Ryme would listen to his brother continue about their company's protocols. It seemed that most of Zerori's questions were typical of an employee who's been around a couple of employers. This encouraged Ryme, as someone who has worked for multiple clients should know how to deal with them efficiently. He knew what the next part would entail. They wouldn't just employ anyone at Ika CGLM, there would need to be a test of sorts. He remembered his with Liaari before he had recruited her, funnily enough, his brother had also run into her around the same time. Ryme wondered if he'd have to bring it up first or his brother. That's when Zero would give him the nod, and he knew.
His brother would broach the subject with the typical deciding factor it was time for rock paper scissors. It was the closest thing to the fair they had, certainly, if they focused hard enough, there could be some sort of advantage gained. However, that wasn't the point when they played, it was more about random chance than any other component. He'd throw out scissors, waiting to see what his brother's reply would be. Ryme had a plan if he did win the rock paper scissors. While Zerori had won some points for her pragmatism, as well as her performance at the bank. He still found that she didn't inspire him to believe in monkeys. There was only one who had done that so far. He'd think back to a certain sweet flavor...
Ryme needed to recruit some members as well. So far his only interest had been Liari, his brother recruiting was keeping them afloat. He hadn't thought of what he wanted to do in the meantime to contribute, but he knew that he had to add more value. There was an idea that had been brewing, Ryme hoped that some sparring would help spark it into a full-fledged plan. There was something meditative about combat, he still had to work on being still for their future master. He wondered what kind of fighter Zerori was, he expected as a Sayian she was a brawler. He did hope that she wasn't one of those who took sparing too seriously. His brother would sometimes be a victim of that problem, Ryme mostly didn't want to have to take his weights off. However, if his brother won the exchange he expected him to take his weights off. Or maybe he was in a more relaxed state today, Ryme couldn't tell they hadn't talked much about Zerori.

When she’d asked Zero about anyone in his organization that she might have beef with, she quite frankly expected to not hear a single name or be warned about anything. Afterall, neither of these Changelings knew much about her beyond the fact that they’d met her the same damn she’d met Jorey. So when the description of a Majin and Liari’s name was dropped, Zerori felt like her blood had run cold nearly instantly. Hiding her reaction by rolling her shoulder as if she were bored, the hybrid woman would try her best not to wonder just what the hell he meant by a ‘Project’ and why Liari was mixed up with these two. It was bad enough that it took her literal hours to calm down after Liari and her had fought in the mountains and she’d… decapitated her.
She’d gradually returned to her senses and knew that, even if the manner in which she’d ‘won’ the fight was graphic and most CERTAINLY lethal for anyone else, Liari would have pulled herself together shortly after. It didn’t make the nightmares go away that Zerori had done that, however, and after losing control of her power.
The question of a physical test managed to bring Zerori to the present, her eyes having glazed over in the memory and were now dilated and in full focus as she looked between the two, “A test?” She parroted softly before clearing her throat and coming back to her cool and collected persona, “Fine by me! So which one of… you…” She trailed off as Zero turned to his brother and announced that they were to play a game of rock, paper scissors to determine who was going to give her test. In partial shock and… well, mostly bewilderment, Zerori would give a final look between them both before her stunned silence finally abated, “... Is this how you two settle debates? Eh, y'know what?" She held up both of her hands in mock surrender before relenting, "You two just do what you need to do." Who was she to judge how they made decisions between themselves when she literally asked her cat what she should eat for dinner before ordering take-out.
After a moment, however, she’d just gesture for them to do their game and waited patiently until they were finished. It gave her a few minutes to keep gathering her strength anyway and she had no idea what she was going to expect with either brother in this fight or test or whatever this thing was going to become.
