The twins performed the battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors. It was the fairest of ways to do this. It was not how they had made all their choices but when it came down to matters where neither one of them wanted to do something, or the reverse then this was the best way to settle things. There would be no way of cheating without going in the most around bout way of doing so, and ensured they could enjoy a friendly game between themselves. As their duo lowered their fist the third time, Zero flatten his palm. He was sure his brother thought he was going to play rock being a man who was always on the offensive, but at last, his brother had countered his way of thought easily by playing scissors. Zero's face was frozen in shock. He had been beaten by that tactical mind of his brother once more. Zero regained his composer and sighed as his chest rose and fell. He lowered his head in a bow giving respect to the winner.
" Congradulations brother."
Zero's hues then moved back to Zerori, scanning her figure and smiling once he reached her eyes.
"Well, looks like I get to enjoy a show. I would say do not disappoint me. Though I have an odd feeling that you will not. "
Zero walked closer to Ryme and placed a hand on his should speaking in a low whisper as he did so. We would only say a few words to Ryme, words of encouragement, well perhaps not encouragement.
"Now Ryme, remember it would be wiser to drop the weights before you unleash more of your true form. It would be best for both of us if we could withhold that bit of information until the day we need it. Though I am sure you know this already. It was just a reminder. Most of all, enjoy yourself, let loose, and do not hold back. She is not under the company insurance so go wild. "
Zero then nodded to his brother and gave him a pat on his shoulder before flying off from the ground, he moved himself back towards the ship and landed on the top of it. Zero watched the two as they readied themselves for this sparring match. While watching he crossed his legs and wrapped his tail around his legs while also folding his arms. His gaze fixed more so on the saiyan woman than his brother. He already knew how his brother would fight, but it was the saiyan they were interested in at this point so it was time to see what this woman had in store for them.

Ryme's eyes would widen with surprise when he saw that he won. He'd smile maliciously as he looked over at Zerori. Magic users were his favorite since he was an aspiring magician. He could see the slight disappointment in his brother's body as he walked toward Zerori. Zero would give him some advice before he engaged, it was advice that he had already taken to heart. Ryme would gladly lose a battle to win the war, and there were many phases he had yet to reach before he was willing to reveal his transformation. Certainly not for an applicant, even if they deserved it, better to save some things as a reward for betrayal.
Now he had to come up with a test for the women. It of course would take the form of combat, but fighting wasn't the only thing Ryme cared about. He knew that was his brother's main interest, but Ryme was a sophisticated man. Their employees had to have a certain, decorum about them. Especially one that he'd be paying directly with no direct command structure. Not that he minded, just that position would have to be occupied by someone he found dependable. How would he test someone's dependability in battle? Probably not something he can do all at once, he would have to have a follow-up at another time.
There'd have to be other criteria he graded her on for now. He couldn't help but think back to when he was grading Liari. Ryme wasn't sure if it was interference from Babidi, or something else but they sure ran into a lot of magical users. The guiding hand of destiny pushes him further on his path of magic/ki hybridization. Maybe that would be one of his criteria for how she used her magic. He at least assumed she did, would he dock her if her magic was just showmanship? Ryme couldn't give it more thought, at least not without starting the "test". He'd look up at Zerori and talk to her while walking 1 meter away from her.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors is an analogy to our company. Sometimes, the most difficult problems have the simplest solutions. Now impress me, for our wealth is endless. If you're skilled enough maybe you'll make a dent in it."
He figured this be a perfect time to practice one of his new stances, he had been watching someone called Bobby Schmurda on old free earth television. This stance was his inspiration, Ryme would lean slightly forward rocking one shoulder at a time then switch. His hands were relaxed, every couple of shoulder rotations he'd put his hands in front of his face. Ryme was ready for whatever attacks Zerori had.

Zerori watched as the two seemed to prepare themselves for their game, looking between the two of them as they went the three rounds before it was eventually determined (to apparently Zero’s shock) that Ryme was to be her proctor. That was an interesting enough turnout for her as well since she hadn’t really got a good read on him since back at the bank. Either he was a really good actor or he was simply built differently than his brother. Zerori cocked a cocky eyebrow at Zero as he spoke to her, not expecting any sort of vote of confidence but she wasn’t one to look a gifted horse in the mouth, either. “Wouldn’t dream of it… Boss.” Giving the two of them space as Zerori proceeded to find a good spot on the ground for their bout, Zerori would stretch herself out a bit before waiting on Ryme. They had shared some words, likely something secretive that Zerori didn’t need to know, before Ryme approached with about a meter of distance between the two of them.
Thankfully, the snowy mountains didn’t have much wind - the howl of the cold ceasing for now into a calm breeze. Rhyme took this moment to explain briefly that their game wasn’t just a way to decide things, but some kind of metaphor. “Really? Well, can’t complain there. It’s pretty easy to overthink things, so if that’s what works then who am I to judge?” Lowering herself into a stance, her tail sneaking from out under her jacket to lash back and forth in a display of excitement, the hybrid woman would keep a keen eye on Ryme as he made the final statement for her to impress them.
With money on the line… how could she refuse?
She narrowed her eyes, taking the briefest of moments to think of how she’d start this. Then, with only the slightly shift of her foot in the snow, she would launch at Ryme - kicking up snow behind her violently. As she approached, sprinting toward him, she’d given a sudden stop mere feet from his place in the snow to swing her body around sweep at the ground. Once more kicking up snow but intentionally trying to obscure his vision long enough to spin around him to be at his back and jab an elbow into his spine. “Eye on the prize!” She yell with laughter before attempting to follow up with a dash toward him and a left swing into his cheek and final, electrifying right hook aimed at his other cheek!
It was a simple but creative way to start things out. They wanted to see what she could do? Well, she wanted to see what they could do! It was only fair!

While his brother and Zerori would start things off Zero watched from the air and saw how she just started things off without a formal way of letting her opponent get ready. That was a good trait, but could also be looked at in a bad light. If she treated most of her fights this way, then Zero could rest easy knowing that like his other employees, she would get the job done quicker and in a ruthless manner, which is how one should be fighting if it was not for a spar. While Zero would consider this more of a test than a spar he could not blame her for trying to get in an early blow. This also gave Zero the chance to watch his brother and see where he stood now compared to himself. He knew he had been pulling away from his brother as of late, but this would be a good way to see if his brother had been slacking too much, or if he was using his time differently in their studies of magic. Either way, Zero would be able to gather a large amount of information about the two of them. For now, his focus was on the saiyan woman, he already knew the type of fighter his brother was and how he would probably handle things. Zerori on the other hand, Zero had oddly enough not seen her in action yet and was looking forward to learning what she could do. He was sure his brother was going to knock her silly even if hand to hand fighting was not his style, but how badly would be the true test of her durability.
Zero started the counter on his datapad when the first blow was thrown, if she lasted five minutes with him then perhaps she would be extremely useful. Within one minute then she had no place working with them outside of delivering mail inside the office. Though she would not be cut out for that line of work with the way she spoke and dressed. In his opinion she lacked class and style, she had too much of that Saiyan bravo about her. Zero took note of her underhanded tactics as the female warrior fought too, using the snow to attempt and blind his brother. A good effort but would it pay off? Zero was not sure, his attention shifted to his brother who now Zero found himself feeling concerned about. Would he disappoint him?

It wouldn't take much prodding for Zerori to come charging at Ryme. It was only surprising that she used the snow as cover because of her Sayian lineage. It was a pretty standard move, Ryme pretended to fall for it, though he did lose sight of her on her second obfuscation. Ryme considered activating his armor, that was what he would have done if this wasn't a test. No one talked about the plight of the employer the decision one had to make a snap judgment on a person's whole character. With a small list of their available requisites, you'd still hear the foolish speak of their labor being stolen when they had such an advantage. He hoped that Zerori's punch would be at least 3/4 as strong as his with the expectation she had set. The number of times Ryme had taken a face shot would increase shortly, or so he thought. Instead, as Zerori's elbow connected to his spine, Ryme would use the momentum to dive forward, then he'd take off burrowing himself in the snow. He saw that she would use the elements to her advantage why shouldn't we be allowed to do the same? He'd fly at his top speed creating an array of tunnels before starting his offensive, he wanted a place he could retreat to. Ryme would emerge 3 meters south from where he started his initial tunnel system in the tundra. Once he shot through the snow he'd fly up to 5 meters in the sky. On his ascent he'd be scouting for Zerori, if she was above ground he'd fire off a Ki barrage at her. Then he'd shoot a second Ki Blast at the snow to create a mist from the evaporation and dive back down into his self-made tunnels. It was obvious from her opening and how she spoke at the bank at that time. Zerori was like his brother, a close-range fighter. He would want to make sure he took full advantage of that fact. Ryme didn't expect it to take long for Zerori to sense him out or at least start to explore. His brother had a discerning eye in the sky as the battle unfolded. Ryme believed in testing their skill in improvisation while Zero just expected his employees to be very strong. As long as their strength was something that could be relied on the other qualities of character could be compromised. Ryme didn't feel that way, but Zerori had caught his brother's eye. He hoped she wasn't like some of his other pet projects.
