Within the hustle and bustle of the West City, home to the largest corporation in the world, it was easy to forget that anything could happen in the span of an instant. To many in the city, this was a daily occurrence that they were used to - after all, crime never slept. To others, however, ignorance was still a welcome reprieve that was usually and unironically shattered by the event of some heinous act eventually caught by the news! Thankfully, nothing too nefarious was in play on a fine, sunny Saturday afternoon. As people went about their business, cashing checks after a long week and blissful payday - a figure would very casually saunter into a bank from off the streets. Wearing a pair of black jeans (casually ripped in a few places), a rather handsome set of black knee-high boots, and a heart-skipping white crop top with a caption that read ‘Your daughter calls me Mommy too’. The final touch on their ensemble that shamelessly turned heads was a pair of sunglasses that obscured their eyes - if the frown on their face was warning enough to stay off their radar.
Zerori… was pissed the fuck off.
In the span of a week, after EVERYTHING she did to try and make it work… she’d not heard a damn thing from Anastasia. She’d wanted to spend more time with her, learn more about the Ex-soldier, but what she got after their first magical training session was silence. Curious, the ambitious criminal mastermind had done some digging and found out that she had actually been ghosted.
A fitting end to what… At some point, Zerori had hoped to have become something more. Unfortunately, she had to move on but that didn’t mean she needed to be happy about it and had - in fact - decided to let everyone know she was upset about it.
While everyone gave her a wide berth, Zerori would allot exactly five minutes to being a cordial and respectful person before deciding with a curse under her breath that she had ’other shit to do’ and very pointedly stalked passed the four that were in front of her and stepped in front of the counter. The looks of offense by said patrons was lost AND ignored by the hybrid woman before she spoke up, “I’m makin’ a withdrawal and before you say anything, I-”
“HANDS IN THE AIR, THIS IS A ROBBERY!”
For a solid second, Zerori was speechless, hand left in the air and a finger held up with the intention to ask for NO response before she slowly lowered it to look behind her. Like in the movies, a trio of black-masked robbers were actually attempting to rob a bank in the middle of the day. Right in front of my salad? Really? Zerori thought with a quiet scoff before she looked back at the clerk who seemed seconds away from making a mess of their clothes. “Can you believe this shit?” She muttered, tossing a thumb in the direction of the trio. The clerk just shook their head in visible fear before falling down to the floor as one of the robber’s approached to throw a back behind the desk.
“MONEY IN THE BAG!” They yelled, loudly pumping the barrel of a shotgun to bring everyone into a panic while Zerori just stood there with an unphased expression on her face. When the apparent leader caught onto this, he turned to her and slowly leveled the barrel to her face. “Gonna get on the ground for me, sugar tits?”
Above her sunglasses, Zerori would quirk an eyebrow but said nothing - not even a shitty one-line comeback came to mind which should have been warning enough for the robber. Alas, when he merely continued with more syrupy sexism - the sudden sound of something crashing against the wall could be heard a few seconds later.
No longer in front of Zerori and suddenly three walls over, the robber in her face would have no chance to see the front kick coming that threw him through the air and almost assuredly through three walls fatally. Everyone, including the other robbers that had been trying to intimidate everyone into submission, stared in awe and shock before Zerori slowly lowered her leg and spoke in a chilling voice.
“I’m not in the mood today, guys,” She turned her head to look behind her at them, red eyes peeking from behind her sunglasses that had slightly fallen down on her nose as she snarled, “Y’mind getting the actual fuck out of here before this bank turns into a fuckin’ funeral home?”

Jorey Current Location: West City Current Timeframe: Daytime (Afternoon) Current PL: 6,167
What the hell was going on anymore? Jorey was confused. The last thing he remembered was being about to fight Anastasia with Katrina, but suddenly, his vision went black, and now he was on the street, dumbfounded and confused. It was like he got laid out, only he didn't have a concussion, didn't feel any pain, and certainly wasn't groggy. Why was he sleeping on the floor? It was the exact same position he was in beforehand, when he was squaring up to fight. What was going on? Was this all a dream? No, it didn't feel like one. Jorey got up, the dawn of day rising up just like him. No one was outside to see him, yet, but it wouldn't be long before he was seen. He didn't want that. The Saiyan quickly grabbed his cloak and leapt up to a skyscraper, hiding himself from any possible viewers that could come his way. Lone Wolf put on his cloak, his scouter still fixed to his left ear, and started to ponder on everything. A few hours of pondering didn't help the Saiyan at all. If anything, it made him more confused and more upset. He definitely felt stronger from the experience, though. What could it have been? His first concern was of the other two; what happened to Katrina and Anastasia? If he did happen to get laid out right in front of them, then he would be extremely embarrassed. If that wasn't the case, then he'd like to know what happened. After hours of thinking about it, Jorey came to the conclusion that it was some magic that put him under. That was the only explanation. There was no other way it could've went down. While he'd never really experienced magic before, he did believe it existed. He wondered, who exactly could have done that? Thinking wasn't helping Jorey get anywhere. The lone Saiyan was now walking through a crowd of people, his body and head being covered by his black cloak and hood. The more he walked, the more he got irritated. He wasn't irritated at the crowd, though. He was irritated at his missed opportunity to fight. This is bullshit. Right when I'm abouta fight someone worthwhile on this planet, some stupid wizard takes the chance from me!? Who the hell was it!? Was it a wizard or some shit, 'cuz if it was, I'm gonna murder their ass!! Dammit!! Why is this happening to me!? What happened last night!? Who were those people!? WHERE THE HELL AM I!? WHY IS EVERYTHING SO CONFUSING!?
As his thoughts got more intense and his Ki started flaring a little bit, Jorey came to a simple conclusion that he couldn't keep inside him anymore. "I needa vent this anger out, now."
As if it was an answer from Kami God Sama person, his scouter went off and detected a power level nearby, coming from a bank. He looked across the street at the source of the energy, and made his way over there, ignoring every single car in his way. Before long, he realized what he was doing, and floated through the air to the bank so the cars wouldn't crash into him. That probably didn't help much, since now people were just staring at him. When he got to the bank, he walked in and saw a hole in the wall, with the source of the energy a considerable ways from it. There were two other individuals, all masked up and all holding weapons of some sorts. They looked like blasters, only not as effective as any other blasters he'd seen. He could get the gist of the situation: this looked like a robbery, and maybe that individual with the power level barely above five-thousand was trying to defend the bank. Fortunately for Jorey, he shot that idea down himself very quickly. He looked at the appearance of the woman in question and laughed a bit. It screamed someone who couldn't be bothered. "I like the shirt."
Jorey removed his hood to reveal his face and scouter. Something about this individual felt familiar, akin to Jorey. He voiced his thoughts to her. "Something about you feels...warm. Are you...another Saiyan, by any chance?"
In response to his own question, Jorey removed the rest of his black cloak, revealing his Saiyan armor and his tail. If this individual did happen to be a Saiyan, maybe she'd feel more comfortable admitting it to someone who showed that they were of her kind? It was a thought Jorey had. Regardless of her answer, Jorey didn't want to wait much longer to let his anger sit inside him. He was boiling at this point, and his face showed it with the crazed smirk he had as he looked to the other robbers. "You know what, this is a perfect opportunity. I finally get the chance to take on someone worth my time here on Earth, find a strong person to go up against, it was gonna be a pretty exciting two-on-one battle! My body was ready, my mind was ready, my everything was ready, and I'm fully aware of how creepy that sounds! But, then, what fucking happens? I wake up with absolutely no one around me in this shit-for-brains city, and I completely miss out on a fight of my life! No scars, no pain, no concussion, no fucking nothing!"
Jorey's energy flared up a bit more as his anger skyrocketed. The Saiyan was more than excited and angry, it was borderline pure, unadulterated bloodlust. He was able to calm himself a bit to have his Ki simmer down and his smirk go away for a bit. He redirected his attention to the other two robbers. "So, in light of that, I'm gonna take my anger out on you pricks over there, since you're the closest thing to a punching bag I can find around here. Are we cool on that? Cool? Cool. K, thanks, bye."
Immediately, Jorey dashed forward with all his speed in what most likely looked like a flash of light to the other robbers, coming straight towards them. His crazed smile was adopted once more on his face as he reached forward to grab one of the robbers' faces, spun around in the air once, and slammed them into the ground, breaking the floor. Jorey had half the mind to drag more attention to himself than necessary, so he made sure to hold back enough to not destroy the floor completely and to not kill the harmless Earthling in and of itself. However, he did acknowledge that he definitely would be down to kill both of them. Straightening up, Jorey looked towards the other robber, murder in his eyes. He cackled a bit and thought of the other individual in there with a high power level, suddenly breaking out of his crazed state. Snapping his head to the woman with a comical shirt, Jorey addressed her in a somewhat apologetic way. "Oh, shit, I'm sorry. Were they your food or something?"

Post by Ryme on May 21, 2022 18:46:28 GMT -5
PL: 4,492
Ryme hadn't even been on Earth for more than a couple of days. They had decided to start sightseeing in the larger parts of the planet before seeking out their new master. Ryme was walking around West City, he had bought himself one of the Earth delights known as Sherbert. It paired perfectly with the sunny day, he hadn't worked up a sweat though it would be coming soon with how much walking he'd done. The earthlings traveled mainly in vehicles, and while he flew in he didn't want to deal with having to kill their local authorities when they inevitably would start questioning him if he flew around the city. Normally, he was more discrete favoring a large cloak to conceal his race, but their plan to find Babidi relied on bringing attention to themselves. After all, his race was one of the most feared in the galaxy.
This city was supposed to be one of the pinnacles of Earth showcasing their vast scientific advancements, and so far he wasn't impressed. Though, he did have to admit their food seemed a tad bit sweeter and richer than their deserts. It made sense when you didn't have grand goals of achieving universal domination, something as unimportant as desert would flourish.
West city seemed like most of the Earth's cities he had seen in his books with a little more technology and larger buildings. If there was one thing he learned from his time on Frost bigger wasn't always better. Take the monkeys on planet Vegeta for example. They could achieve a size that dwarfed any Changeling on their best day. Yet, the PTO was feared, and the monkeys were enslaved by all manner of aliens. Imagine thinking you were the strongest race in the galaxy, yet you were ruled with an iron fist by a non-native. The PTO's recent incursion on Namek showed just how weak the USD was. Now other groups were starting to realize it, and their facade of world peace was fading. That was one of the routes that Ryme had considered for their climb. If they could take a planet singlehandedly surely the PTO would recognize their greatness. Earth wouldn't be that planet, it'd have to be something smaller for their first attempt, still learning about other cultures firsthand interested Ryme.
As he walked through the city, the sound of gasps and the feeling of everyone's eyes had lost their initial charm. He was used to the eyes, though they were looking down on him at Frost. Having everyone's attention in fear felt...well it felt right. They knew that they were lesser beings bathing in the power of someone who could end their existence as easily as flicking a light switch. This was the reason that the others treated him so harshly on Frost. They wanted to feel that way, but on a planet of the strong, there was little place to feel this elevated. Ryme would enjoy traveling around the universe.
That's when a figure caught his eye. He saw a floating figure from across the street floating towards a bank a short distance in front of him. They were fully cloaked, so Ryme couldn't make out what race they were. He secretly hoped it wasn't his brother intent on causing mayhem on one of their first days.
Hmm, this might become an interesting day let's see what's going on here. I know that not a lot of these earthlings are capable of flying. I really should have invested in a scouter before I left, I'll have to order one a little later.
Ryme would follow behind Jorey, arriving on the scene right after he finished giving his speech. Seeing that he was a monkey, not an earthling made Ryme audibly chuckle as he watched the chaos unfold before him. The monkey talked to another, was that a monkey as well. It was hard to tell, but it seemed possible. After all, monkeys stuck together in a troop usually with one leading.
"So which one of you is the Head Monkey in charge?"
Ryme could barely get his words out in between his laughter. There was something so comedic about monkeys fighting.

Earth, he had been told by many how it was a jewel of a planet. Zero had to check it out for himself, he and his brother had come to find a master to teach them. While they had not seen the person they sought west city seemed like a good place for the pair to start their search. It was the wealthiest city on earth apparently which was a plus for Zero, being a made of the tech world he was interested to see what inventions he would come across. So far nothing came close to the level of things they had on Planet Frost. There were a lot of interesting looking beings here but most of them looked disgusting and were obviously lesser beings compared to himself and his brother. There was not much that drew his attention here with what he saw, perhaps there could be a deal made with some of these companies and he could bring them into the PTO but who knew? The Namek project had been going well so perhaps earth would be next?
This trip to earth was for two reasons, to gauge what others had said for himself to be true or false, and find that imp of a being to learn from, and right now he felt this trip had been an utter failure. While the pair were twins, they stood at a slight height difference, and their personalities were slightly different. As they had walked neither had muttered words in some time, Zero was too busy being observant of everything that was going on around them. One thing he did note is that most people seemed to be moving around with a sense of purpose. Much like Ryme, Zero saw it too, someone flying around. Without saying anything he followed Ryme, when they came to the scene his brother made him audibly laugh. "Hahaha, oh brother does not be silly. None of these apes have a leadership bone in their body. They are nothing more than natural labor workers. Just a barrel of monkey truly. "
After their insults, Zero scanned the two monkeys to see if any of them had anything they wished to get off their chest. He doubted such low IQ creatures would even get that they were being insulted. Whatever was even going on with the two of them Zero had no clue. He just found it funny how much of a scene these two were making. One of them seemed to really want to fight, and Zero found that it was a bit of a drain, after all why not settle most matters with words and wealth. Violence was so barbaric but what was he thinking they were saiyans after all.

She stared at her supposed ‘opposition’, daring them to just try anything at all after seeing their apparent leader literally get kicked through a wall (or 3). When they just stood there, shaking in their boots, Zerori would give a sigh of impatience, “Seriously…” Before she could take matters into her own hands, however, the flare of energy nearby had her look in the direction of the door, Hellooo, what’s that? It would have been annoying to abandon her plans today but curiosity did always typically get the best of her. Thankfully, the point of interest came to her, a man wearing a cloak to likely hide guiltying features that looked nearly the same height as her. He took in what had happened around her as she took in the minute details of the new arrival, What brought you here, Mysterious? She thought with a curious upward quirk of an eyebrow.
The compliment to her shirt was a nice tough, earning a twitch of her lips before he removed his cloak to reveal his face and scouter to her. A Saiyan? His question a moment later confirmed that, earning a short bark of laughter, “Well, you’re half right. Though, I gotta admit… ‘warm’ isn’t exactly something I’ve been associated with.”
It didn’t take long to see just why he’d been attracted to this place and, a moment of very obvious venting later, he was taking his frustrations out on the other two robbers with little effort needed. She called to him, “Cool with me. Try not to paint the place too red,” She casually provided. Instead of joining him - it would have ended in a massacre anyway - Zerori decided to let him have his fun and very casually walked over to the half-door and went behind the desk to retrieve her money herself. A few punched in numbers to get her account up and she had a good amount of cash in hand for her next project. He’d made only a bit of a mess with the one robber he’d thrashed but caught her attention (and his mind, apparently) when he’d addressed her with an apology.
Blinking behind her sunglasses, Zerori would simply adjust them to show her blue eyes before giving him an amused smirk, “No, I have standards with what I eat. Have at them,” She chuckled, ready to let him continue and be on her way when the arrival of another, rather… unique pair of individuals seemed to follow behind the Saiyan.
Racist ones at that, Zerori rolling her eyes at the Arcosian. She’d not seen many of them on Earth, but of what she had seen, they were just as arrogant (if not more so) than her own people. Earthling, in contrast, were a LOT more humble though that also depended on who you talked to. While Zerori would have been fine with ignoring them on most days, this day in particular was one of her worst. So, in her mind, she really did not have ANY shits to give and that included taking it from what she could assume were some new arrivals to Earth.
She leaned against the counter, putting her money away in her jacket before looking up at the two Arcosians and cracking her neck for effect, “I’m not going to say a damn thing about ‘leadership’ qualities; you got me there,” She teased, rolling her shoulder a bit as she took a few casual steps toward them. Briefly, seeing that some of the humans were still in the bank, Zerori would mutter, “Get outta here,” to one lady that had huddled into a fetal position while Jorey had beat one of the robber’s ass. She then returned her attention as the lady (along with others that had taken the hint to escape) scrambled out of the bank, “As for who is in charge, well… I’m going to guess that’s me. You’re lucky,” She smirked, the shades that covered her eyes glinting off the light.
“-withdrawals are free in this bank for the moment.”

Post by Jorey on Jun 21, 2022 12:33:32 GMT -5
The other Saiyan seemed like a nice character at first. She responded to Jorey's compliment with a twitch of her lips, she vaguely answered his question about her being a Saiyan, and she even let him finish her food for her. Well, this would hardly count as a meal, in all honesty. Weak Earthlings didn't do much to help satisfy Jorey's craving for battle, and with how his last battle ended, there was still a sour taste in the back of his mouth. Jorey was a very not happy camper. Apparently, Jorey was half right about her being a Saiyan. He wasn't entirely sure what that was supposed to mean, but he wasn't going to press about it. What he knew for sure was that she was a Saiyan, in some way, shape, or form. It's nice to have kindred people on a foreign planet, even if what you do for a living wasn't entirely the safest or most morally aligned occupation. Jorey responded to the other Saiyan's confirmation of her being a Saiyan with a light chuckle. He acknowledged the kindred blood between them, and left it at that to continue at the other two robbers. Fortunately, she was more than fine with Jorey taking care of them, and he was more than fine with complying, until two other voices were heard behind him at the entrance of the bank. Jorey turned sharply to see what was behind him, only to find two Changelings behind him. Oh, great, racism at its finest. Where are my civil rights protestors when I need 'em?
At this point, Jorey had completely forgotten about the other robbers in the area, as well as every other Earthling. His scouter beeped a bit, showing him the power levels of the two Frieza Race individuals. They were both really close in power to Jorey and the other Saiyan. Interesting setup they had going on here. When provoked by the other two aliens, Jorey turned to the other Saiyan and questioned her loud enough for the other two guests to hear. "So, did you invite the giant green and white tampon with his midget sidekick, or am I missing something here?"
The other Saiyan even told all the other Earthlings to leave, which they all responded to in kind. Jorey paid absolutely no mind to the Earthlings leaving, too focused on the new situation at hand. Whenever these racists were involved with their superiority complex and someone else that wasn't of the same race as them, things tended to get ugly. Jorey had absolutely no qualms with the other Saiyan saying she was the leader. He DID come later than she did, after all. He was just trying to add fun to the party and vent his anger. What was happening in the first place, he had no control over, and he could care less for. As long as it doesn't interfere with his work. At this point, Jorey had completely turned around to face the other two aliens in the room, glaring at them without a single emotion on his face. Realizing that this may take a while, he took this moment to lift himself off the ground and put his tail on the floor, coiling it to lift himself up. He then rested his head on his hand and propped said arm against his leg. Jorey would remain in this relaxed position, until anything should happen to make him feel he should get ready to take action. The Saiyan turned his head to the other Saiyan in the room, to make another comment. "Y'know, hearing 'monkey this' and 'monkey that' is starting to get old, don't you think? At least come up with a creative insult at this point."
Jorey redirected his glance to the Arcosians, with a smirk painted on his face. "If you want, I can rate your insults on a scale of one to ten. Help you guys expand your vocabulary a bit? Space god knows you pro'lly need it, right?"

Ryme would listen to both of the monkeys talk it was obvious to him that Zerori was a monkey with standards, thus being the leader of their group. It wasn't a coincidence that the other was a hot-headed egoist. It was typical for the men in the monkey race to either live under the firm thumb of their genetic anger. Or give up completely, and be a useless farmer slave, they didn't seem to have a wider berth for personality than that. Ryme was going to eventually train there, the thought still made him nauseous. The angrier monkey more like a chimpanzee would screech insults back at the group. Ryme had learned quite a lot about this form of battle, called banter. He liked to engage with it, almost like a prefight build-up of tension like foreplay.
"Your insults are the level of a monkey, so how am I insulting you? Even worse is your name-calling, by calling us a humanoid cleaning product, then you follow the person who uses said product. Does that mean you think less of your leader for using it? How can your insults require so many questions to understand?"
Ryme felt he put up quite a verbal spar back at Jorey. He'd show him the uselessness of believing in his gender, better to stake your opinion on the strength of your race. There was a reason he was feared and there's were seen as barbaric monkeys. They were so stupid they weren't even trusted to run their planet. Ryme wouldn't be surprised if eventually, the brother helped the monkeys take back their planet. They definitely couldn't do it without outside help that's for sure. Ryme would look back to Zerori and address his next statement to her. His voice would be more lenient and slightly sarcastic.
"I don't have any need for stolen money. I strictly work in the legal parts of society, and I was still on the border of whether I wanted to call the police. To me looks like a couple of monkeys robbing a bank."
Now that Ryme had taken time to look around the room. It didn't seem like the monkeys planned on robbing the bank unless there were two robberies planned for the same day. The bigger issue for Ryme was his fake threat. He didn't want to involve law enforcement. He just knew that if he brought them up first he'd look the least suspicious. Plus there was always the chance they received a racist officer on scene. Their race was lower on the human tribal totem. He also wondered how his brother would respond to the monkeys. When it came to insults Ryme had much thicker skin due to being the changeling that got bullied. His brother offered more of an intimidating communication style.
If his brother did swing, Ryme wouldn't be in as good of a position as he hoped. There were still so close to each other, and Ryme was more of a long-distance fighter. The first thing he'd need to do is create some space. Looking around to see if there was anything he could use to create a distraction amid battle. As a last resort, he could just blast the ground in front of him to create a debris storm.

Zero lifted his left hand to his breastplate and let out a soft chuckle. This was truly wonderful, not only were they poor criminals but they were also a comedy act. Robbing a bank in the middle of the day, with tails out in the open and faces exposed. I suppose if the police are stupid they will check with your cousins in the zoo. Perhaps they will think you thought the gold color of zenni was some type of fruit and let the two of you off the hook. " Truly, had they never seen a criminal-based show before, after all with all the cameras around and devices that could record these Saiyans would have their faces all over media. What made it even better was the male saiyan tried to make some jokes about the color of their skin tones and even made a leap about Zero being something of a hygiene product. This made Zero lift his hand to his mouth covering it as he let out a louder laugh. How shocking you even can know what that is with that horrible smell coming off of you. Hygiene is not something you seem to be incapable of with that nappy hairstyle. Make sure with that stolen money you buy a comb and a bar of soap. Even the monkeys in the wild bath. "
His brother made a mention of calling the police, and this gave him an interesting idea to help boast their names on earth in a positive light. Perhaps he and his brother should take these two down as good citizens would do. After all, how was he to make money with trade deals with Earth if people like this were openly allowed to rob a bank and get away with it? It would be a bit funny though, they were unable to protect their lifestyle on their own planet and now were coming to earth to start problems. The USD was obviously lacking in their presence on Earth, perhaps they would be doing such a poor job of it as well on Vegeta. The gears would start turning in his head on how he could start to profit from the situation here and on Vegeta. Perhaps this would be a good place as any to make a stand and make a name for the Ika Brothers. Zero noticed his brother looking around, knowing Ryme, he was anticipating Zero to throw a punch or something, but he truly did not enjoy fighting, and the monkey's insults were weaker than he was so there was nothing to worry about just yet. Though picking up on this Zero stepped a bit closer to the Saiyans.
" So how about to you circus acts put everything back like it was and await justice like some good little chimps. We will be sure to make sure the law enforcement that shows up knows you had a change of heart. I am sure they would understand you two just got confused and return you two to the playing enclosure. Zerori wasn’t going to say it out loud but she was impressed with how patient the other Saiyan was in the face of the casual racism. Having lived on Earth for so long and navigated the hell that was high school and college, Zerori was hardly a stranger to the insults and assumptions that were thrown her way. She didn’t much care for the opinions of others unless there was a point to it, but something about being accused of robbing the bank after her and Jorey had actually dealt with the robbers was…
-Distasteful.
She looked back at Jorey and gave a shrug, “No, I kind of wanted to be out of here with MY-” She turned to the Changeling duo, making certain to speak loudly and clearly for them. “-money. Not my fault when you put your power on display and attract the sharks,” She passively informed Jorey, admonishing AND letting him know that she could sense his energy. She could forgive, slightly that sleeker Changeling might have made an assumption but as for the other one? Oh yeah, she wasn’t taking that shit sitting down, “OH?” Zerori would bring a hand up to her chest in mock-shock, “I’m SORRY, I assumed that you were here to make a WITHDRAWAL - not steal money. Because charging fees to get your own money is illegal. But hey,” She smiled sardonically, bringing a hand up to take her shades off and glare at Zero Ika. “-While we’re making assumptions and perpetuating stereotypes, why don’t you take your second-rate hero acts that NO ONE BELIEVES FOR A SECOND... and shove it up your ass.”
She didn’t mind being called a criminal (if the shoe fit, obviously) but she wasn’t going to accept the bullshit coming out of this guy’s mouth as he tried to make himself out to be some sort of savior. She took a few slow steps forward, “Unless you’re afraid the cameras are going to get your bad side. In which case,” She put her shades into her jacket, finishing with a little wink, “-You don’t have to worry. All your sides are bad, sugar.”
I can’t wait for the police to ACTUALLY arrive! Zerori thought with amusement before she turned to Jorey, “You down for a little exercise? We should, of course, let them decide if their words are just words, though. Can’t ever trust a loud mouth, after all.”

Well, that checked out. The other Saiyan here also didn't know why these two Arcosians were here. He didn't think she actually knew why they were here, but it was good to double check with her. Jorey now had absolutely less of a reason to show respects. Although, when you already have zero respect for someone, there's nowhere else to go except into the negatives. The assumption that they were here to steal money was nothing short of adorable and amusing. Always like racists to assume the worst of anyone. Maybe I'll play around and pretend to rob the bank just to rub it into their face.
Jorey's thoughts paused for a few moments as he reflected on that idea a little bit. He immediately shot it down and was a little disappointed because of that. Actually, nah. Knowing these guys, they wouldn't know sarcasm if it hit 'em like a meteor.
When the green and white Changeling retorted to Jorey's comebacks, the Saiyan ended up very disappointed. It was just more monkey references, and a clear misunderstanding of Jorey's insults, in general. The disappointment inside Jorey was reflected perfectly on his face. "Oh, never mind. You're the type to look too deeply into comebacks, aren't you? I'm starting to lose interest in this."
Jorey thought that the red Changeling would be at least some bit better at this. At first, it did sound like he had some potential. The one about the fruit was something Jorey hadn't heard often, so it looked promising. Oh, look at that. Your boyfriend here might actually be worth going back and forth with.
Jorey's expectations were shot back down when he heard implicit monkey references again. He rolled his eyes and sighed in response, losing even more interest in this situation. It was as unoriginal as many other Frieza Race beings were. They all had the same thing to say: monkey see, monkey do, monkey this, monkey that. Why were so many racists so unoriginal in their insults? Do they all go to the same school for them? Jorey laughed a little bit after hearing the red one's comebacks. He was clearly the most out of the loop in this situation. What, did he actually believe they were there to steal money? "Never mind. I didn't know what I was dealing with here. On a scale of one to ten, I'll give you a three. I would give you a one, but I decided to give you both a couple of pity points."
It was obvious the red one was here to provoke them. He stepped forward as if he was trying to initiate a fight, or some sort of physical response from Jorey and the other Saiyan here. Jorey, however, wasn't buying it. Don't get this Saiyan wrong, he loved to fight. Combat was an exhilarating experience, but combat with racists could never be amusing. It's always a hassle to deal with. Jorey looked over at the other Saiyan, as she said that they were most likely attracted to the display of power he made. The lone wolf raised his eyebrows in confirmation, and smiled at her apologetically. "Right, that's my bad. I'll make it up to you after this, since it's my fault."
The woman continued her rant as the red one made clear misassumptions about the two Saiyans, and boy, was Jorey loving it. He hadn't heard a rant like this in a while. Maybe it was the fact that he hadn't interacted with too many Saiyans in, well, his entire life, but this was going to be embedded into his memory forever. The lone wolf chuckled a little bit, liking the spunk of his Saiyan ally there. "I really do like your style. What's your name?"
She then addressed her attention to Jorey, asking if he wanted to have a little exercise. The thought of her being there with him in this was more appealing to him, and he smirked a bit, leaning back on his tail a bit. "You're right about that. Well, if the gym is open today, I wouldn't mind going at the punching bag for a bit."

Post by Ryme on Jul 9, 2022 0:04:11 GMT -5
Racism was such an odd concept that Earthlings and Sayians alike focused on. In reality, it was just an excuse for their weakness. If they truly cared so much about racism, why would they use it as a weapon immediately in verbal combat? The monkey realized he was quickly outpaced intellectually by Ryme's observation. Instead, he feigned interest instead of acknowledging his superiority. Monkeys going to monkey, he'll probably engage with brother. The only way to fight with them is to engage in the same level of shit-slinging. I get tired of the clean-up.
It seemed that there was a chance this was a misunderstanding listening to the female lead monkey. That they were withdrawing from their accounts when the robbers showed up, she didn't seem to hate the idea of having the police arrive. Ryme was convinced by her even if it was a bluff, but his brother had already upped the ante so Ryme called the police anyway. He'd give a brief description of the location, and the general status of all the civilians.
"Police will be coming to interview everyone you can thank these Monkeys for saving you. Or if they're lying make sure to tell the boys in blue they'll back you."
Ryme would lead all the humans in a clapping round for the Sayians. It was loud enough to add more points to the Sayians. The police would be the final test, worse case if they were discriminated against he was confident in their escape method. This is also why he felt confident calling the police. Even if one of the monkeys managed to provoke his brother into combat they'd be able to escape with or without police intervention on the monkey side. His hope was by calling the police he'd de-escalate the situation, that's what his talk show host always spoke about. How the police were there to deescalate for citizens and how they took incredible risks to do so.
After the Female monkey was done ranting she'd look visibly happier. He felt that this de-escalation should go well if the mood of the room keeps improving. Ryme was helping up the weaker earth creatures at this point, as they all stood up and started to stretch their legs. It also let him move around the room without arousing suspicion. He was now 8 meters away from Zerori and Zero. While Zerori believed that they were putting on act as fake heroes it was more simple than that. Companies did acts of goodwill to increase their reputation. That's all Ryme was doing here attaching a face to his future company, that way when they were interviewing him he could mention stories like these. Protecting the common man. What a sack of shit, I only care about the common man's money. Too bad you get reamed on this planet for admitting it.

They assumed the pair were doing a bit of some sort. As Ryme called the police and then started to assist the humans Zero looked up and smiled at the woman. "Oh no my dear, we are not heroes only creatures that are superior to you in every way. Perhaps you have not heard the term Perception is reality, so to us, it seemed like two Saiyans using their slightly above-average powers to increase the amount of Zenni you have without doing an honest day of work like these fine people. " As his brother was displaying so was Zero, he had more of a knack for setting the stage and playing the scene to benefit him. Charisma would be his highest stat if he was one of those tabletop games. This was real life, however, and he would be every ounce powerful as he was cunning. Insulting his appearance as the female Saiyan had done nothing to him, it was hard to get offended by a woman who spoke like trash. The speech a person chose to use as a window into who they were as a person, and she was the lowest of the low as Saiyans were concerned.
"If you pair of baboons are truly not in the wrong then please join us and wait for the police. Sadly, if you try to flee I will have no choice but to be a good citizen and act accordingly to subdue you. Even if you are innocent you must agree your actions do make you look suspicious. I do believe there is a withdrawal limit per day ad I am more than certain that the limit is indeed smaller than a sack of zenni. "
Zero took another step towards them and stretched his hand out with a gesture as if he was offering them something from his hand, or a helping hand. "Zero Ika, Board of Directors of Ika Indestruies" the changeling answered as he looked at the nappy headed Saiyan, well they both had nappy heads, so it was more directed to the male of the two. He would oh so eagerly await their responses and slightly hoped one of them got froggy and attempted to flee.

Oh my god, he’s an idiot, Zerori thought, almost on the precipice of bursting into laughter as what she assumed was a VERY clear intention to try and fight the two Changelings was taken as an offer to actually… exercise. In a gym. She couldn’t escape the sudden imagery that invaded of the Saiyan before her just lifting weights with her by his side as she held a hand over her face in shame. Across from her, of the two brothers, one seemed hell-bent on pissing her off while the other was cool-headed and made it clear that they were more concerned in preserving their image than anything. At least, that was the vibe she got. The way Ryme had assisted the civilians had helped to ease some of Zerori’s anger from being insulted.
Instead of teasing him or correcting Jorey, Zerori would just clear her throat to keep her composure and answer his question, “Zerori,” She’d answer, before turning to the other (more caustic) brother and adding in a moment later, “-Owner of Interstellar Incorporated. Which, fun fact, also allows you to pull larger sums of money because it’s a business,” She smiled spitefully toward Zero Ika, “-Ain’t that interestin’?” She knew Jorey wasn’t talking to the Changeling and Zero Ika certainly wasn’t talking to her but she wasn’t going to pass up on the opportunity to shove her pride in his face.
Since her call for a fight was quite literally misinterpreted by her ally and the two ‘good samaritans’ had already phoned the police, Zerori had felt most of the winds in her sails deflate and the desire to kick some ass had been lost. Instead, she’d walk over to the counter and pick up a pen and notepad to write something down.
If any of them were curious, Zerori would speak a moment later to assure them (not looking up as she did so), “If you’re so confident that I’ve committed a crime, by all means stay for a while, but I’m going to have a statement ready and be on my fucking way,” When she was finished writing, she’d rip off the piece of paper on the notepad and then throw it at Jorey, along with the pen a moment later, “I’d recommend you do the same before these assholes decide that they need lawyers next,” She knew Jorey was likely going to be in the worst shape because of the way he’d handled the robbers but it helped to be prepared.
And none too soon, either, as the sound of sirens and cars screeching to a halt were heard moments later as the boys in blue arrived. With all the confidence and nonchalant attitude she could muster, Zerori removed her sunglasses and crossed her arms as she leaned against the counter. Her crystalline blues glanced over at Zero Ika as she tossed a smirk his way before she schooled her features once more in preparation for the interviews.
She didn’t go to fucking college for nothing.

Post by Jorey on Jul 15, 2022 23:44:05 GMT -5
Jorey continued leaning back on his tail, hearing out the other Saiyan in the room. Her name was Zerori, an interesting name to say the least. It didn't seem like a traditional Saiyan name, but who was he to judge? Some Saiyans are born on Earth with Earthling names, so on and so forth. However, now that he thought about it, was "Zerori" a traditional Earthling name? I dunno enough about this planet's culture to determine that. Let's just forget about that, it's not that important. Nice name, though.
Jorey responded to Zerori's introduction with one of his own. "That's an interesting name you got. I'm Jorey."
One of the Changelings also decided to introduce himself. Jorey knew he didn't ask this Zero Ika individual for his name, but the gave it anyway. The Saiyan immediately gave the Changeling a stank look, wondering why he even decided to answer a question not asked to him. "Bro, when did I ask you?"
It was still a little amusing, in a way. The incident seemed like something out of a comedy short, but it wasn't enough to make Jorey laugh or smirk. Well, now he knew who Zero was, and what his occupation was, which was a surprise to Jorey. He wasn't expecting to hear THAT as Zero's occupation. Wait, so he's not with the PTO? Kinda expected to hear that from him if anything, but I guess this is a little better than having to deal with those shitstains again.
Jorey turned his attention to Zerori, who was holding her hand over her face. Why was she doing that? Was she just kidding about the whole fighting thing? There was something Jorey wasn't getting, but he could have sworn that she meant "getting some exercise" as "beating the shit out of these Frieza Race people." The lone wolf, confusion painted on his face, got off his tail and back on his feet again, the metal boots clanking against the ground. "You know, 'hitting the punching bags' as in hitting them? Never mind, I should stop speaking in metaphors."
The moment was long gone and passed. The green one, whose name Jorey didn't know yet, had called the police, announcing that they were going to be here momentarily. This turned out to be a strange turn of events. This Saiyan didn't expect to have a run-in with the Earth's police force in such a short amount of time from coming to the planet. On the bright side, it wasn't the kind of encounter he was expecting to have with them. I mean, I honestly wouldn't have anything against fighting the police. But, since we're already at this point, it's better not to make more of a scene. If shit does hit the fan, I'm prolly strong enough to just dip without causing a scene...Unless I'm somehow underestimating Earthlings.
Zerori seemed to be quite the educated individual. She knew exactly what Zero's business was, and was able to call him out on this whole situation that unfolded in front of them. Jorey chuckled at the remark she made, but ultimately didn't feel like adding anything to this debacle. She could handle herself more than well enough, as proven throughout the day he was spending at this bank. Instead, he took this time to reassess the situation at hand. Zero, the red Frieza Race, was clearly the more aggressive one. Well, both of them were pretty aggressive and racist, but Zero seemed to be by far the one who wanted to provoke the two Saiyans most. The green Changeling, on the other hand, seemed to be more cautious and passive. He was the one who called the police, after all. There was something remarkable and strange about this duo. It was almost as if they were two sides of the same coin, or they kept each other in check. It made Jorey wonder if they were actually brothers, with the difference in attitude and personalities. Jorey turned and watched as Zerori went to the counter. At first, he was curious and confused about why she was getting a piece of paper and writing in it. What reason was she writing in the piece of paper for? Jorey assumed at first it had something to do with the reason why she pulled money from the bank, or how much money she specifically pulled out. However, it turned out to be a statement for the police when they get here. The outworlder didn't know that this was how things were dealt with when the police were involved on Earth, and smiled, storing this information in his brain, just in case. Zerori would toss the notepad to Jorey, which he would catch effortlessly, followed by the pen in his other hand. She recommended Jorey did the same, to which he raised his eyebrows in agreement. "Earth politics are interesting. Similar to some other planets I've been to."
With that, Jorey was about to write down in the notepad his statement, but stopped right beforehand as he remembered what he did. Turning around back to the robber who was in the floor incapacitated, he winced and sighed through his teeth, as he knew it wouldn't be easy to explain to the police. In the end, he shrugged and wrote down everything he did anyway, including the excessive force he used on that robber. Eh, screw it. At least the guy ain't dead. I could argue that I did it to try and diffuse the situation a bit. They might buy that. If anything, I'll just dit outta here.
After writing down his statement, he ripped out the piece of paper, then walked over to the counter and placed the pen and notepad back on it. At the same time, he could hear sirens coming from outside. The Earth's police force had arrived. Multiple power levels were popping up on Jorey's scouter, but none of them seemed dangerous enough to even pose a threat to him. He nodded, confirming his suspicions from before about how strong they'd be. Ah, figures.
Jorey folded up the piece of paper once instinctively. At this point, there wasn't much left he could do or would do. The police were here, and they were going to conduct interviews of each and every one of them. He would be more than happy to play along and have his statement ready, but was also ready to leave whenever he could. Well, this was a pretty eventful twenty-four hours. I almost get to fight the only Earthling strong enough to be worthwhile in a two-versus-one match, somehow get knocked out before the fight, and now I'm here, with a guy I shoved into the floor next to me and the police outside. Additionally, I met another Saiyan and the first Changelings I met on Earth. What is it, my birthday?

Post by Ryme on Jul 24, 2022 12:23:45 GMT -5
The crowd had gone from a dreaded silence to a fearful whisper as they talked between each other; the Sayians and brothers facing off against each other. Ryme had managed to inch a couple of feet/meters away from his brother. He wouldn't be giving his name, his brother relished the chance. Ryme, on the other hand, would be fine if no one even realized they were brothers. He didn't like random, maybe even enemies having information on him. So why would he give it freely, better to see how they respond to the police and judge from there.
The sound of the police sirens could finally be heard in the distance. It was an odd thing; This was the first time he heard real-life sirens. The shows don't capture the loud low aggressive tone, it always seems friendlier shows. The sound would slowly be heard through all in the bank, and it would visibly calm down most of the earthling bystanders.
Ryme would continue to watch as the intelligent monkey would try to salvage the situation, but the unintelligent one continued to barrel towards violence. A natural tendency of those who feel like failures, they try to reassure themselves through reality. A false perception and even worse his brother would quickly dice that fantasy if the Sayian did engage. Instead, cooler heads did prevail, thanks to Zerori helping Ryme diffuse the situation. It wouldn't go unnoticed by Ryme, after all, inferiority didn't necessarily mean uselessness. How else would the universe thrive without classes?
He'd watch the monkeys prepare their statements, a smart move. When you couldn't remember how to conduct yourself in public, it only made sense. As the police arrived, Ryme put both of his hands on his head and got on his knees, just like he saw in all the tv shows. Though he had to say, they didn't quite catch the element of police right. In the shows, the cops are emotional beings capable of great compassion with a diverse set of characters. Instead of a colorful cast, Ryme was greeted by a large group of uniformed individuals who look largely the same. They would go to handcuff Ryme, as well as his brother and the Sayians. This is where the real test would begin. Ryme would comply of course not saying a word as he was led away from the bank goers taking him to a separate room in the bank. It looked like some kind of office possibly for their compliance section, or possibly their cyber security. Ryme couldn't tell he wasn't too familiar with earth practices. The officer didn't say a word to Ryme, so he would return the favor. As they waited, he wondered what the reactions of the others would be.
Ryme would try to see if he could hear anything from the previous area in the room's silence. Surely he'd hear if any of the others struggled or resist ed the police. If that happened, Ryme would have to ditch this officer, he didn't look forward to having a record if that did happen. So far, he hadn't heard a peep. Ryme couldn't wait for the shit-eating grin he'd give when the police would have to let him go. Even on the off chance, they were racist, the overwhelming amount of witnesses could claim he called the police. This would be an open and shut case, he'd have no problem finding a lawyer doing Pro Bono. He saw it all the time, they had so much Pro Bono to give on Television adaptations they'd give it to homeless people and even those who couldn't pay. It'd be easy to secure for a figure such as himself.
