His ki blast was pushed out of the way when his hands where redirected but his molten metal like eyes didn’t look away from Liari for a moment, watching and anticipating. Then when she used he malleable body to bend in way a normal creature couldn’t dream to match the youth saw his opportunity. Normally the Broken Arm crystals would simply dissolve once their energy was depleted, but there was a curious thing about Orgonite crystals, so long as energy remained within them they all carried a trait in common. One he was willing to exploit at the precise moment they where passing through the gaps in Liari. He withdrew his connection to the crystals and instantly they lost cohesion and the Orgone within reacted violently, all six crystals detonating within the gaps of Liari. But his assault didn’t stop there. He still had plenty of crystals to work with and he exploited there existence by barraging any location he could sense Liari from with ki blasts from all directions. Basically he cut off her attempt to grab him and slam him into the ground by his head before she thought to try it, and before he even knew she was going to do it. In a flicker he changed positions, but that tiny delay was enough to foretell the change; he’d removed his weighted jacket and placed it in a safe location. Meanwhile on the Gau-la-Furia the jacket hit the floor of the Captain’s Cabin with a loud CLONK!! As his power surged her roared and was suddenly encased in positively massive singular orgone crystal. With another roar the crystal shattered, Liek’s ki surging from within and blowing the parts outwards. All but twenty four twelve inch crystals which blossomed around him like a flower. “FLY MY FANGS!!” He shouted and the crystals zipped and zagged, far faster then those of the Broken Arm, and infinitely harder to track thanks to their far smaller small size. Then came the onslaught, a barrage of beams from all directions with astounding accuracy and concentration to make them difficult even for someone like Liari to evade.

When the blasts exploded in between the gaps the Majin had (de)formed to avoid them, only one thought flashed through Liari's mind in the instant before she was, yet again, blown to bits:
"I am really getting sick of this little twerp."
BOOM!
In a flash of light, Liari was reduced to a spattering of rubbery, bloodless flesh, her body having been scattered to pieces from the explosion inside! Crystals, MORE dimensional rocks, would hail down upon Liari's fragments, threatening to crush her in a seemingly never-ending barrage! BUT WAIT! THERE WAS MORE! Liek disappeared for a second, shedding his little cloak-thing and unleashing a new barrage of attacks, firing from his crystals BEAMS that zipped around and shot at Liari's pieces from a million different angles! Only... there was something that Liek would notice as the beams struck: They did not fizzle or burn... In fact, it was as if his ki were ineffective completely, surrounding and encompassing the pieces, YES, but not harming them in any way! Even as they fired, the pieces of Majin would SHOOT up into the sky and coagulate into a complete humanoid shape, it pulsating and twitching as a dark pink ki bubbled up and twisted around the figure!
SNAP!
Liari POPPED back into existence, her FULL, TERRIBLE POWER on display for the young Super Saiyan! His blasts glanced off Liari's flesh as if the were mere flash-light beams, her silver eyes flaring red in utter disgust of the young child. He had no idea who he was messing with, did he...? Who told HIM that he had the power to speak to her with such disrespect, use such boring, unfun tactics to fight her, and then remove his WEIGHTS mid-battle as if he had intended to go for the KILL!? She was done playing around with this one. It was time she reminded Earth, and all of its short-memory-ed inhabitants WHO they were messing with!
(Liari's power jumps to 7,164,753)
In an instant, Liari would appear before Liek, her knee shooting up to SLAM into his stomach! She would then reach down and grab Liek by his long, golden spikey hair and DRAG HIM back down to the ground, SLAMMING him face-first into the rocky earth below! If she succeeded, the landscape would SHATTER inward as if a meteoric impact had exploded between Liek's face and the ground, the Majin then dragging his face along the ruined earth with almost a sadistic satisfaction. She said nothing, only grinning as she raised up her foot and STOMPED it down upon Liek's spine, holding back just enough so that she didn't completely snap it in two! Now, if Liek began to use his space-folding shenanigans, Liari would notice the instant he popped back into normal space! Liari would then teleport the next instant, manifesting behind the boy so quickly, it was as if she was teleporting faster than he, predicting where he'd end up! It was as if she was faster than instantaneous movement itself! Liari's power was such that she could do ANYTHING she wanted to this boy... but she restrained herself. After all, she wanted to make a point: Liek had gotten TOO comfortable, behaved TOO disrespectfully towards the great destroyer that was Liari! Sure, he may not have seen what she'd done in her past... but he was certainly going to get quick rundown of what he'd missed!

It was hypocritical really, but it was extremely unlikely that a made creature like Liari could appreciate the fact, but she had been the one who wanted this, going so far as to verbally demand that he unleash his full power so she didn’t have to find away to draw it out. And yet, she took his acquiescing to her demands as some kind of personal insult. If this had been any other foe the boy would have been reluctant to go so hard in anything less then a battle to the death, but from what he’d seen and heard of Liari he knew she could handle his full power without any trouble. If she had taken the time to listen to the tone of his attacks she would not have sense, even for a moment, the intent to do lethal damage.
Yet, she felt a more severe response was necessary it would seem. Her knee blowing the air from his lungs as it was driven into his stomach with incredible force leaving him entirely helpless as she grabbed him by the hair and slammed him into the ground face first. The boy didn’t scream or cry out as the beating happened, he merely grit his teeth and focused on mitigating the damage as best he could while trying to regain his breath, the taste of blood assaulting his tongue and his vision going fuzzy as he tried to inhale though his nose, which somehow hadn’t broken. He managed to avoid getting his spine stomped on at the last moment with a Cloud Fold, but knowing Liari could be on him at any moment he made an educated guess as to how should would come for him…
And guessed right, for all her power she was still predictable as she Faded in behind him, only to be met by a one-handed Kamehameha he fired under his shoulder. But in that moment she could see it in his eyes, he knew he was going to lose. It wasn’t a new realisation, if she could understand what was in his eyes she would know he’d known he was going to lose before they had even started. There was no fear, because he’d known and accepted the outcome before he’d even started fighting. There was only the intensity of a youth ready and willing to throw his everything at her, not because he hated or was angered by her, not because he wanted to kill her, but because she was worth fighting with everything he had. And he was willing to keep fighting until he had nothing left to offer her.
It didn’t matter what her past was. It didn’t matter if she was a destructive force of nature or a destroyer or whatever. All that mattered was that, right here, right now, he was giving it all he had against a foe he acknowledged as worthy of every last drop of power he could muster.

It was hypocritical really, but it was extremely unlikely that a being as unaware as Liek seemed to be, could appreciate the fact that he was asking for this. Of course, the Majin wanted to taste his full power, but between his shenanigans and smart-alek attack strategies being nothing less than oppressive and unfun to battle, what with him teleporting around the place and seemingly able to read her movements as well as any book, AND Liek's seeming lack of appreciation regarding the Majin's overwhelming inherent power and reputation, Liari saw very little reason NOT to explode upon the young boy if for no other reason than to remind him WHO and WHAT he was dealing with. She had felt Liek had been far too comfortable on the winning edge of this fight, too... content being able to fold and unfold space like a piece of paper to get around. His little crystal trick was equally irritating as well and so... it was about time for the Majin to set the record straight:
...Yes, Liari HAD asked him to fight... but any surface knowledge of her deeds would have led Liek to believe this invitation... wasn't exactly voluntary. Like the beetle skittering unknowingly into the spider's den, the moment he made his little proposition, he was trapped. Until now, the Majin had been humoring him, wanting to see what his little body was capable of outputting. One might interpret Liari's sudden explosion to full power as a sign of being threatened, that she was no longer comfortable fighting him on his level. One might also interpret that her boredom had reached the point that Liari was no longer content just being beaten about by the boy's unique spacial techniques. Now it was time to show him the true terror that haunted the planet Earth.
Liek thought himself smart in predicting the Majin's teleportation but the moment he reached around, his hand cupping a ball of blue energy, the space between it and her would ripple and Liek's hand would disappear up to the wrist! The one-handed Kamehameha would fire... DOWN into the planet itself, Liek's hand poking out of a portal that redirected his hand, and beam, DOWNWARD towards the planet! By the grace of Kami, the planet would, in fact, NOT explode instantly on impact... but it did leave a dark, ugly, angry crater, a gaping wound that was already starting to weep molten rock. Liari had read on Liek's face, detecting that he had already accepted how COMPLETELY overmatched he was but... unlike certain individuals, he wasn't giving up!
...At least he had that going for him!
Still, Liari's hand would shoot out like a rubbery snake, wrapping around the boy's neck before she SWUNG HIM UP over her head... then DOWN towards the gaping crater. Liari then held out her own hands, wrist-to-wrist... as if mimicking a certain technique of a certain hermit.
"Kaaaaaaa... Meeee...." Liari rumbled, bringing her hands behind her! "Haaaaaaaaa... Meeeeeeeeeee..." She would then smirk darkly, her eyes flashing a sinister red.
"...So, you gonna let this hit the planet?" Liari questioned challengingly. "Do it! I dare you! I want to see what happens! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Liari THREW her hands forward, firing a MASSIVE energy wave at Liek, threatening to encompass his entire field of vision! ...Only, if he felt it for a moment, he might feel that the signature the blast gave off... wasn't as overwhelming as Liari's full power. In fact... it might even be managable to him!
...Of course, if Liek DID try to dodge like a coward, he would also notice the space all around him beginning to ripple and contort. Portals... EXIT portals to be precise! All it would take is for an entrance one to be generated between Liek and the Kamehameha coming his way and BOOM, it would strike him regardless!
...This was a test of courage. What would Liek do?

Did Liek know Liari and her character? Not really. He knew her reputation, how much death and destruction she sowed in her path, the suffering she’d left in her wake in her ceaseless search for ‘amusement’ and ‘entertainment’ by the twisted definitions she used for those terms. Even as her arm wrapped around his neck and nearly chocked him out before hurling him towards the ground he couldn’t help but feel like there was something missing in how Liari fought.
Was that really all there was to her? Violence and destruction, just for the sake of it? He thought back to Terra and the things he’d read about Majin and knew they could be so much more then that. Their minds where not that simple. There was simply no possible way that the hollow attacks assaulting him where the limit of the person Liari could be. Her attacks where the kind of hollow that came from merely desiring to fight, not the driving need to fight for a purpose. Not that it mattered, if she didn’t want to grasp her potential then she never would. And Liek wasn’t the kind of conceited high-and-mighty minded ass hole Callion was, so he knew better then to try and wax philosophical with the crazed majin. Nothing he could say would convince her to try and change.
No, a different approach was needed. Something that would shatter her entire world view. What that was was completely beyond the boy however, so he ended that line of thinking before it went too far.
As air finally found their way back into his lungs his blurred and patch work sight, half blinded from the oxygen deprivation, was filled with the light of the crazed Majin’s own Kamehameha. Falling back on his training and trusted his instincts and in a matter of a single heartbeat managed to process his orientation to the ground, distance from it and what would presumably happen if he moved and how much time he had left until the energy beam reached him. He also noted he didn’t have a whole of left in the tank to work with.
But that wasn’t going to stop him.
Gritting his teeth, ignoring the line of blood leaking from between his lips he held both his hands up in the air and channelled as much power as he could muster into his Energy Cloud. Like when Opherla had fired a fully powered Kamehameha at him, at his request, to help awaken his Super Saiyan form Liari’s blast struck his shield and began to eat away at the micro-crystals that made up the cloud. The boy’s aching muscles strained and ached against the beam, which he new realised he would have been able to handle just fine had this been earlier in the fight, but as he was now his inexperience with the Super Saiyan form was draining his stamina faster then he was used to.
Eventually the beam stopped and the boy was left panting for breath, his vision still fuzzy and filled with dots. He looked up at the majin and considered possible routes to continue fighting; another round of broken arm as a distraction for a Kamehameha? Maybe a Cloud Fold double fake out before Fury Crashing her in the gut? He even considered just forming a massive crystal spear and throwing it at her. But in the end they all hit the same problem, he just didn’t have the stamina or ki left to keep fighting.
Taking shaky breaths he wobbled in the air for a moment before dropping out of Super Saiyan and floating uneasily to the ground. He tried to stand on unsteady legs for a moment before they gave out on him and he collapsed against the side of a rock. Between breaths he managed, “I… I concede!” He breathed for a moment, “I’ve got nothing left to fight you with. You win.”
After a moment more he called out, “Thank you for this! I mean it!” He looked up at her with a smile, “You’re the first one to take me seriously, to show me just how far I really have to go!” He raised a shaking finger, more out of exhaustion then anything else, as he said, “I’ll catch you some day… no… I’ll surpass you! Look forward to it! Look forward to the day when you’re the one on the ground and I’m the one up there!”
And with those last defiant words the boy passed out.

Honestly, Liari had been expecting something flashier than a barrier of some kind. You know... another Kamehameha to clash with hers... Maybe another technique equally explosive... but maybe she had overestimated the young Super Saiyan. Anyone with eyes could see that whatever power and spunk the boy had to him was ebbing fast, draining out of him as surely as blood from a gaping wound. It seemed like the best he could muster was some kind of energy-field around himself, ironically putting himself MORE at risk by allowing the beam to strike himself... but in the end, it paid off. Liari COULD have pushed him further, overwhelmed his little barrier just for giggles... but that might end the fight too soon! Heck, she might've just killed him and then where would she be?
With the last of his power gone Liek, using the support of a rock, Liek would force himself up just enough to declare that he had lost... BUT, and this was the important part, that he WOULD surpass her one day, that their positions would be reversed, given time! The twisted grin on the Majin's face only grew wider. She liked the sound of THAT. So many of these Earthlings were ready to DIE when someone like her came along. Heck, in the case of one in particular, they were practically BEGGING her to do it! It seemed that she had finally made the impression she wanted on one of these Earth-born dogs, making herself a center of their fixations! Strength, after all, made the fights fun! It made them worth it... and now Liek had proclaimed to her that he'd gather more just to show her up! ...That was a promise the Majin would be CERTAIN he'd keep.
...But then he passed out before Liari could offer a retort, his golden aura fading away to nothing. Honestly, this was the first time Liari had seen a Super Saiyan turn off like that... and it was surprising how LOW Liek's power had dropped because of it! If she had been passing by, not paying attention, she might've missed his energy level entirely, so dangerously low it was! Liari slowly lowered herself to the ground beside the fallen Super Saiyan, the Majin bending down and picking up like by his collar. His limp body hung from his collar like a corpse, his unconscious having all but enveloped his mind.
"'One day... one day...'" Liari repeated almost musically, raising her fingers up to Liek's nose. "...Why wait until then? You Saiyans are supposed to be the toughest ones around, right? So... Wakey-wakey!" Her finger would curl against the pad of her thumb and FLICK the tip of Liek's nose... then again... then AGAIN he didn't stir from his slumber! If Liek still refused to awaken, the Majin would then open up her hand and SLAP him across the cheek... lightly, at first. She didn't want to hurt him (yet) and she had no way of knowing just how close he was waking up again! ...If those lighter slaps didn't work, Liari's face would begin to scrunch up in irritation. OKAY, was he in a coma, or just a really deep sleeper? ...She would wonder how he'd even get up in the morning if THIS was how he slept after some harsh training!
...If Liek still refused to wake up, Liari would toss him up in the air and, while he was falling, interweve her fingers, FLEX them to the point of audibly popping, before catching him by his collar again! With her free hand, the majin would ready her free hand... and SMACK Liek across the face!
"Wake up."
SLAP!
"Up-and-at-'em." SLAP!
"Rise and shine."
SLAP!
"Top-of-the-morning."
SLAP!
...At this point, Liari was starting to get slightly irritated... but in a child-like sort-of-way... she was starting to have fun!
"WHY."
SLAP!
"WON'T."
SLAP!
"YOU."
SLAP!
"WAKE."
SLAP!
"UP!?"

Liari was slightly off on her assessment of the boy’s intent when he said he’d surpass her. He only said that because she was the first one ever to give him a real goal to aim for, a way to see where he really scaled in terms of powers. And with that he could see how much stronger Arctic would have to be to make gathering multiple fighters of Liari’s level together a necessity. He wasn’t aiming to surpass her because he wanted to surpass her specifically. He to surpass everyone. So that he could mold the universe as he saw fit, ensuring that which he cared about would remain safe no matter what… and everything in the way of that ceased to exist.
As his mind had left consciousness it hadn’t lost full awareness, however that awareness was diverted away from the mortal plane and drawn into the Orgone Layer. There, like each other time he’d full entered the realm of energy sacred to the Fury, he was presented with the shifting emerald energy shifting and flowing through out an unspeakably vast void his mind couldn’t fully process. Slowly his gaze shifted upwards to meet the eyes of being whose presence almost entirely filled the void, the physical manifestation of one of his Gods, Volda. Dragon God of Darkness.
The vast being looked down at the youth with his molten metal eyes for a moment before speaking, “Inheritor. The being you face. She is chaos incarnate, you have realised this.” A statement that earned a nod from the boy, “Logic does not apply to her, nor does the decency to accept concession. Even now she assault’s your body to force you to awaken despite your exhaustion.”
It figure’s really. Well, it was better then her killing him outright. Still annoying though.
“I doubt she will be satisfied until you give her what she wants. But as you are you lack even the energy to awaken.” The Dragon God noted. After Liek pondered for a moment what to do about his situation the God spoke again, “You have nought with which to resist. So I shall grant you a flicker of my own power, enough that you may sate the Majin’s battle lust for, at least for a time.”
Needless to say, the boy was shocked! Such a level of intervention was far and above anything his Gods had done before, at any point in the history of the Fury, but he wasn’t so conceited as to refuse the offer. Instead he merely kneeled in reverence as a crimson pinpoint of light descended from the vast Dragon’s outstretch claw.
As the light touched the boy’s head the scene of the Orgone Layer vanished.
And in that same instant his hand snapped up and caught Liari’s wrist right as she yelled ‘UP!?’
For that one moment in time, for barely a single heartbeat the boy was coated in a fiery red and orange aura and even his hair had turned red. And on top of that two things that made almost no sense; his power level vanished and he had enough strength to hold her wrist completely still.
But just as quickly as it appeared it was gone and his power returned, his golden aura flaring to life again as his hair turned golden once more. He let go of Liari’s wrist, not that he had the power to hold it in place any longer, as he leapt away from the Majin and dropped into his aerial combat stance. “Slapping someone awake is just rude.” He noted sourly, “You wouldn’t like it if someone did it to you, right?” He shook his head, “Whatever… you want a Round 2? Fine. But after this we’re done for today. Not everyone leads lives so BORING as to only have fighting to look forward to.”

Liari looked at the boy oddly as he had come out of his sleep. She couldn't tell if he was still shaking off whatever little dream was going through his head. Rudeness? Manners were what he was concerned about? What, should she have tied her arm around his body like a rope and swung him around until he decided to wake up? Sometimes, she was concerned for the noodles of these people... If the worst thing to ever happen to Earth beat you to a pulp on an impulse, then SLAPPED YOU AWAKE, what might that indicate about what lay in store for your future? Apparently, it was a quiz for the ages because Liek gave no indication of knowing the correct answer. Liari sighed heavily and shook her head. Maybe she was just wasting her time trying to be a terror to the mentally handicapped. She wondered at times if humans like this saw stuffed animals and rainbows where fire and rubble existed. Maybe the song "Do You Believe in Magic" played in the background of their very lives as things exploded, people died, and the universe split apart.
It wasn't likely that Liek was that insane... yet. What was more likely was that he was VERY confident that the VERY TEMPORARY truce Liari had made with Callion would spare the boy... for the most part. She wondered if he'd be more terrified if she had ripped out Callion's tongue, making the monk take an involuntary vow of silence and, as an extension, be unable to big-mouth his way into exposing their little accord. Somehow, she doubted it. These sorts of heroes have wills like rubber: bent into all kinds of ridiculous, incomprehensible shapes... while also being unbreakable. Something in their heads, beit something logical like love or connections... or something not like sheer stubborn refusal, these sorts of fighters felt fear from VERY SPECIFIC, and at times, RANDOM things. Fear of death, fear of mutilation, fear of mauling by a borderline abstract trans-dimensional god-demon like Liari might as well have been a Tuesday for these folks.
...The Majin was disappointed... and frustrated. She was really running out of options to have fun with this one... If she KNEW him better, she would've taken the form of someone he loved, maybe put on a little act with them killing themselves or stating how much of a disappointment he was. You know, attack on a mental and emotional level since a beatdown wasn't hurting enough. She would have used her magic to transform the landscape into something reminiscent of what he held dear... but twisted and nightmarish, something that would have Liek wake up sobbing as he floated from night-terror to night-terror. She would have painted his world red and black and let his own personal hell have it's way with him...
...But for now, even that was beyond her reach.
"...Are you serious?" Liari lifted Liek over her head and THREW him straight down, aiming to spike him like a football. "THAT'S all you have to say? I beat you to paste, slapped you awake so that I can do it again and all you can do is MORALIZE at me about the slapping?" She reared back almost comedic disbelief, a hand covering her face. "I honestly can't tell if you're the smartest man I've ever met or the dumbest. Look at me, getting mad that some golden-haired runt... I honestly don't know what I can do to make you afraid. Heck, I bet if I killed every single person you love, the worst expression I'll get from you is that one." She pointed an accusing finger at Liek's sour expression, one of obvious, but still minor annoyance. At this, Liek would leap back, putting some distance between them. She watched Liek retreat with an equally sour face.
"Do you think you'll come back or what?" The exasperated Majin questioned. Her eyes widened slightly, realizing that she let loose that little secret she and only a few others knew. ...OH WELL... At this point, she doubted even death itself, the most primal fear all things shared, fazed this kid. "...You do realize you could die. Forever. I'm more valuable than you. I could kill you, say it was a training accident or throw your body into space and nobody would know or care. Arctic is a bigger threat than me. Spotlights will be on him." She would then approach Liek causally, shrugging her shoulders and shaking her head. "Callion will likely give me a talking-to but that's it. Your legacy on this world will be reduced down to a scolding. ...Bah, but what am I saying? I'm wasting by breath with explanations. Demonstrations, though... that's more fun."
Liari flicked a rock up in front of her face with a twitch of her foot before catching it in her hand! When she opened her palm, THREE massive rock-spears would EXTEND from her palm, aiming to impale the boy from wild angles!

“What’s the point of being afraid. What’s point of being scared or angry?” Liek replied, his tone making it clear that such things where just plain silly to him, and his questions legitimate. Why should he get angry, scared or afraid over anything she did? Most of what she did would be a temporary set back at worst, and reversible at best. So why waste time and energy distracting himself with emotions like those.
It also didn’t help that everything that had happened in the short time since he’d left home so much had happened and so much pressure had been thrown on him. Was it any wonder that someone so young would end up a little unhinged and blase about matters of death, especially when he now had two examples of people who died and came back? At this point death sounded like more of an inconvenience.
“You aren’t the first to mention coming back.” Liek admitted, “If the likes of you and Callion can do it, then so can I.” He smiled at her, “Actually, I think I can do one better. No matter what you do to me, I’ll always come back.” the smile turned into a smirk, “You might be Majin Liari… but I am inevitable.” the smirk turned into a grin, “And like all the monsters of the past, the only thing anyone will ever remember about you… is that someone defeated you.”
It was true after all, no one really remembered much of anything about the great evils of the past. The only certainty right now was that the same fate awaited Liari at the end of her days.
As the stone spears flew towards the boy he chuckled, “And I intend to be the one who makes death stick!” He yelled as he fired three Orgone spears at the three rock spears. They wouldn’t be enough to destroy the incoming attacks, but he didn’t intend for them to, instead his spears deflected Liari’s away from himself and into the ground, covering the area around him in dust.
From a top a nearby rock formation the boy mused, “Although, that won’t be today. We’ve already established you’re way stronger then me.” He sighed, “But really, you bore me. You’re so… one dimensional. Is this really all there is to you? A lust for hurting people? For wanting them afraid of you? Is that really it?” His eyes narrowed, “If it is, then I don’t fear you. I pity you. I pity your empty existence.”

If Callion can come back from the dead, then so can I!
Liari stared at Liek like he was insane. What... did he think this was something that could be LEARNED!? What was WRONG with him!? Further more, as an insane smile began to stretch widely across his face, Liek would declare that he would ALWAYS come back... and implied that Liari would not. In fact, he asserted that the Majin would be long dead and gone by the time her memory faded, perhaps reducing the Majin's legacy to something along the lines of a ghost story to frighten small children. ...And he would be the one to finish her!
...Silence.
"You're out of your mind." Liari concluded, somewhat ironically given her unhinged rant from earlier. "What is this all about? Are you trying to prove something? Step up and stand with the big-wigs or something? ...Or are you just trying to emulate Callion but come off like a complete asylum-patient?" Liek would fire three spears at the Majin, deflecting her own and sending them CRASHING into the ground! Liari shot into the air to avoid being encompassed in the dust, spotting Liek standing atop a mountain. He admitted that it was clear for ALL to see he wasn't going to live up to his promise today. If anything, he'd likely experience death sooner than he'd like if he kept pressing the issue now. Instead, he expressed... boredom with the Majin's personality, calling her "one dimensional..." which was no doubt a pun at her expense. Was... Was he trying to damage her pride since his OWN power was lacking? Again, she stared at Liek as if he were crazy. Did he think she needed validation from this little rat...?
...Well, she might not need it... but she wanted it... just not the sort from the vector Liek was attacking from. She couldn't POSSIBLY care less if Liek saw her as stimulating. Hell, she might call him even CRAZIER stuff if he invoked such language! He could be as bored as he would like... Heck, maybe he'd get lucky and be killed by an evil version of Callion, so full of rancid and elaborate layers was he. It'd be like getting crushed by a giant, smelly scallion. Liek would no doubt go to his grave in a gore-bag satisfied that his death came after an exchange of witty barbs and 20-minute flashbacks.
...What she wanted was his FEAR. She had done so much to this planet. Her mark had STUCK in the minds of humans and warriors like Athren alike! They resented her, FEARED her, even if they wouldn't admit it... or at least feared what she'd do if gone unchecked. This Liek kid, though... he acted as if nothing she'd do could scar him... Maybe he was insane. Maybe he had his amygdala crippled using some kind of technology. ...Maybe he was just broken beyond Liari's own capacity to recognize and surpass. ...At least, if she attacked him directly. Liari's eyes widened and narrowed in malevolent thought. Dragon Balls... Yes, it must be from THOSE his confidence springs. If she could have ABAS get the rest of those, she could wish for ANYTHING... Anything at all...
"Eh, whatever. You're no fun, either." Liari scoffed, waving away Liek's insults as if they were bad gas. "I'm gonna go ruin your good name." Liari's face suddenly morphed into Liek's, her form melding and twisting to mirror his! "Blow up a city... kill a few thousand people... stir up more anti-Saiyan sentiment... get you booted off this planet you seem to care about..." Her voice seemed to match his octave for octave! If he hadn't seen the transformation itself, Liek might've thought he was talking to a perfect double!
"Maybe I'll disappear... but I'll make your face one they'll never forget!"

Liek held his arms out wide and laughed drily, “I really don’t think you’re in any position to be calling others insane when the only apparent life goal you have is to murder people. Most people would say you’re so unhinged you have more in common with a curtain then a door.” He held his arms out to his side before remarking, “And that’s before we even mention the travesty that is your fashion sense.” Leaning down, with a hand on his chin he squinted and added, “I mean, I can’t tell if those are supposed to be pants or a giant diaper.”
“And no, I have no intention of emulating that ass-for-brains.” The boy replied with a scowl. It didn’t take a genius to realise what that face meant, that the boy genuinely did not like Callion one bit. Whether it was something that would continue long term or not depended more on Callion though; if he could admit his actions where wrong, not just apologise then Liek may forgive him. But with Callion unlikely to do that any time soon that didn’t seem likely. The boy shrugged, “Seriously, kick him in the dick the next time you see him. I’ll buy you a meal if you do.”
“Good name?” Liek scoffed, “No one even knows who I am!”
“Seriously.” His tone wasn’t that of someone trying to talk down about themselves, but that of genuine honesty, “I’m nobody to these people. I’m just another Saiyan brat to hate like they do the rest. None of them would care if I died and they would still hate me even if I saved them from someone like you.” He shrugged, “I doubt anything you do could make the people of this world hate me or Saiyans much more then the planet’s own government is making them.”
Her transformation was a surprise, enough to stir a look of surprise out of the boy, but it was quickly replaced by an analytical curiosity as he tried to observed how her ki and body flowed to create that effect. At the same time he tried to figure out if he could replicate the technique using Furiemshinken, and, though he had yet to try, it didn’t seem outside the realm of possibility.
Honestly though, it was pretty sad. Both things where, both how the Earth Government had a hard on for hating Saiyans and Liari’s attempts to make him fear her. Besides, he just didn’t care anymore. He very much doubted the Saiyans among the defenders of Earth beating back Arctic would be able to change any opinions. So if Liari wanted to make things worse then she could just go ahead.
Besides, he’d only wanted to protect the Earth out of respect for his Grandmother’s legacy. He didn’t actually owe the planet anything.
