Callion, using his Saiyan strength and agility, managed to kick Liek away, sending him crashing into a rocky boulder. The boy's relentless assault had been temporarily halted, giving Callion a moment to reassess the situation. He rose to his feet, a mixture of concern and frustration on his face as he glanced at Liek's grandmother. "The False Super Saiyan is a prelude to what can be considered a Super Saiyan. Extraordinary power, and sadly the only way to awaken such power is extreme anger and emotion... I had hoped to unlock the boy's power, trying to get him to unlock the transformation," Callion explained, the gravity of the situation evident in his words. He looked back at Liek, who was now in a demonic state, his anger manifesting in a frightening manner. "Apparently, his body and himself had a completely different idea in mind... Though I suppose, I am glad in a way, I did this... Imagine if he were to unlock this if he were to get stronger and had no control," Callion added, recognizing the potential danger if Liek were to wield such power without restraint. The Saiyan listened to Like’s grandmother being proud of the boy, and in a way so was he, even though he didn’t intend for the situation to get out of hand, the Saiyan was proud of him. "I told you your grandson is an incredible young man. You should be proud of him," Callion remarked, recognizing Liek's potential even in the midst of the chaotic situation. The acknowledgment was sincere, though the circumstances were dire. Listening to Liek's grandmother, Callion took in the information about Liek's mastery of Energy Materialization. He nodded in understanding. The situation demanded a careful approach, and he pondered the way forward. As she offered to intervene and help, Callion gritted his teeth, appreciating the suggestion but determined to handle the situation himself. "Alright... I can do that. But you should stay out of this. I wasn't lying when I said that souls and spirits that die in the living world will cease to exist," Callion explained, revealing the severity of the situation. He understood the risks involved and the consequences that could unfold in the Otherworld. With a determined expression, Callion began to power up, the energy surging around him with a resonating roar. "RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" The transformation took hold, and Callion ascended to the heightened state of a Super Saiyan before the eyes of Liek and his grandmother. The golden aura enveloped him, signifying the tremendous power he now possessed. As Callion unleashed the power of the Super Saiyan, his entire being underwent a profound transformation. The familiar golden aura erupted around him, bathing his figure in an ethereal radiance. However, in a unique deviation from the conventional Super Saiyan appearance, his eyes glowed with an intense crimson red, piercing through the golden luminosity. The golden locks of hair that characterized the Super Saiyan form underwent a mesmerizing change, taking on a rare and captivating hue. The once black lion mane strands shifted into a lustrous platinum gold, shimmering in the radiant energy that surrounded Callion. Each strand seemed to carry an otherworldly gleam, making his transformed state all the more extraordinary. His muscles became more defined, and an indomitable presence emanated from him. The power coursing through his veins had reached new heights, and his aura pulsed with an unparalleled intensity. The crimson eyes locked onto Liek, signaling that Callion was ready to face the unleashed force within the young Saiyan hybrid. The transformation was a testament to the Saiyan's strength and resolve, a manifestation of the power he possessed to confront the tumultuous situation before him. Callion looked at Like, ready to pummel the boy to at least worn him out, motioning his hand for like to bring it. “Alright son. Show me what this ‘Demon’ can do.”

The raging Liek howled in fury as Callion threw him aside, the collision with the rocks momentarily immobilising the feral hybrid. From her vantage point the ghost of Fa Galswith watched on and listened to the elder Saiyan’s words. Much like her grandson her knowledge and experience regarding Saiyans was extremely limited, with what she’d been told by Inion before his death being the limit to their shared knowledge base. And then it was almost entirely limited to the boy’s name and how the tail and moon where involved in the transformation into the Oozaru.
Fa had never bothered with learning to sense ki during life, and even in death it was fairly low on her to do list. In life there hadn’t been much of a point, her main foe specialised in manipulating Orgone, which was undetectable, and even if it was it wouldn’t give an accurate measure of strength. Thus why the Fury and J Numbers had relied heavily on technology to read their opponents strength. In death it was a low priority since she had all the time in the universe to learn it.
Despite this she could tell at a glance that Callion’s strength had increased substantially along with the physical changes. Still, Fa couldn’t help but throw in a verbal jab, “Is this the Super Saiyan you where talking about, or a case of Sudden-Onset-Mid-Life-Crisis?” Although she was joking she was also considering what this would mean for Liek, would he even be able to control the form if it was so reliant on rage to awaken? Or would his other half always take over when it happened?
The idea of a form that dramatically increased the user’s power wasn’t something she was unfamiliar with, the Fury Knights and J Numbers all had access to a transformation of their own. Although she was compelled to compare it to Super Saiyan what she didn’t realise was that the transformation she knew, Bhasker Mode, was closer to Kaioken in how it worked, minus the drawbacks. She doubted Liek could ever perform the Bhasker Mode though, since it was so reliant on natural Orgone control. Carolina had spent the entire conflict trying to successfully use the transformation, but her reliance on ki to use Orgone always prevented her from gathering enough.
Liek would undoubtedly face the same issue.
But if he could come to control this natural form he may not even need to worry about Bhasker Mode.
Though, she did feel compelled to offer Callion one last piece of information, “I didn’t call this state a Demon to be cute, or because its analogous. The boy is literally half demon, and I think this is those instincts taking over.” She then drifted away to ensure there was a safe distance.
Down below the feral Liek glared up at Callion, the raw animalistic processes operating his mind at the moment not even caring to consider the implications of the elder Saiyan’s transformation. In what amounts to a case of ‘he changed his hair, so what?’ just discarded the change as unimportant and unleashed a roar, coupled with an omni-directional release of ki that blasted away the rock he’d crashed into. He then just charged straight at Callion, flinging ki blasts as he went.

The Saiyan couldn’t help but as he acknowledged Fa Galswith's quip, smirking whilst his crimson red eyes gazed upon Like’s Grandmother for a moment. He grinned, finding a moment of amusement in her comment about a sudden mid-life crisis. However, when she mentioned the demonic aspect within Liek, Callion's expression turned more thoughtful. The revelation brought a new layer of complexity to Liek's nature, one that could potentially influence his transformation.
The battlefield crackled with anticipation as Liek, fueled by his feral instincts, charged at Callion with unrestrained aggression. The young Saiyan hybrid unleashed a relentless barrage of ki blasts, creating an explosive display that obscured the fighters from view. Within the swirling tempest, Callion braced himself for the impact.
The dust settled gradually, revealing Callion standing unscathed amidst the aftermath. His smirk conveyed a sense of assurance, a seasoned warrior ready to face whatever challenge Liek presented. As he casually swept his hand to clear the imagined debris from his shoulders, Callion's crimson-red eyes gleamed with the intensity of his transformed state. "An impressive showing, my young friend," Callion commented with a voice that echoed authority. "But now, let's see what you can do against the true might of a Super Saiyan."
With those words, Callion's power surged even further. His golden hair turned platinum gold, and the usual green eyes of a Super Saiyan were transformed into a mesmerizing shade of crimson red. The energy around him crackled with intensity as he prepared to engage Liek in the next phase of their battle. "My turn," Callion declared, the aura of a Super Saiyan enveloping him as he readied himself for the clash with the feral Liek. In this heightened state, Callion aimed not only to confront the immediate threat but also to guide Liek toward mastering the latent power within him, a power that could potentially change the course of their struggle against the impending threat of Arctic.
In a blur of movement that seemed almost instantaneous, Callion closed the distance between them. His blinding speed left an ephemeral trail in the air as he unleashed a rapid sequence of attacks. A punch aimed at Liek's gut in the hopes to land with precision, followed seamlessly by a forceful headbutt to the head. The impact of the blows was enhanced by the tremendous strength granted by Callion's Super Saiyan form. Should such blows be successful, then before Liek could fully react to the disorienting assault, Callion executed the final move of his lightning-fast combination. With a swift motion, he launched a focused ki blast directly at Liek's chest. The energy surged forward, seeking to exploit any opening left by the preceding physical onslaught.
The battlefield echoed with the explosive aftermath of Callion's strikes, leaving Liek momentarily staggered by the sheer speed and power of the Super Saiyan's assault. The elder Saiyan remained vigilant, ready for whatever response the feral hybrid might muster as they continued their intense sparring match. Amidst the echoes of their clash, Callion's voice cut through the chaotic din. His tone carried a genuine concern, a stark contrast to the intense battle they found themselves entangled in.
"I don't want to hurt you, Liek," Callion declared, the crimson-red eyes of his Super Saiyan form reflecting a mixture of determination and sincerity. "I know I've probably made myself look bad in your eyes, but I want to help you control this natural state."
The Saiyan's words echoed with a promise to guide Liek through the tumultuous awakening of his latent power. Despite the fierce combat that had unfolded, there was an underlying sentiment of mentorship and a desire to assist the young hybrid in understanding and mastering this newfound aspect of his Saiyan heritage.
"If this is your equivalent to a False Super Saiyan, then I am going to help you control it," Callion continued, the gravity of his words underscored by the intensity of their ongoing battle. "Even if I have to knock some sense into you." With that, Callion readied himself for the next exchange, prepared to press forward in his attempt to assist Liek in gaining control over the powerful but untamed force that surged within him. The battlefield crackled with energy as the mentor and pupil continued their intense training, each clash serving as a step toward unlocking Liek's potential.

The feral teen grinned in satisfaction when his ki blasts detonated around Callion, the wild instinctual thoughts rattling around his head no being able to conceive of the idea of the elder Saiyan’s action being merely a ploy. Naturally the sight of the Super Saiyan being completely unaffected by the only enraged the savage even further resulting in another reckless charge that played right into the elder warrior’s hands, Callion’s punch landing squarely and without contest as the boy’s own crimson eyes looked down at the man in surprise.
With the air knocked out of him by the first attack he was in no position to defend against the head but which also landed precisely as the elder Saiyan had intended. But the pain from the blows only fuelled the beast’s rage even further, as it used ki to inhale air into it’s lungs faster then normal it grasped at Liek’s memories, clinging onto any knowledge or skills that may be of use. Before Callion’s ki blast could land it grinned wildly and activated a skill Liek had been working on for years, with only is inability to use Energy Materialisation having prevented his successful application.
The air around Liek sparkled with crystals as the ki blast hit him and was diffused by the cloud, weakening it. “Energy Cloud.” Fa identified, not intending for Callion to hear her musings, “With Energy Materialisation he’s finally gotten passed that road block.” She placed a hand to her chin, cupping her elbow with the other, “If he can do that then maybe…”
With another howl the boy charged forward only to flash green for a moment before disappearing. In the exact same moment he vanished Callion would sense the boy’s energy appear a short distance behind him, followed by a growl of annoyance as the boy swung his open right palm, coated in crystals, at open air, clearly having expected Callion to be there. The boy then followed through with his left palm, also coated with crystals, charging at Callion and trying to land the palm-strike. Hit or miss the boy would then transfer the remaining energy to his right hand and try for another hit with that hand.
“Cloud Fold and Finger Crusher.” Fa noted, “Liek… you always tried so hard to learn everything I taught you… now you are finally able to put the Furiemshinken into practice.” But even as her heart filled with pride she couldn’t help but feel filled with concern. Callion had told her of Arctic, a monster far beyond anything the J Numbers had faced, and far more cruel. Ga-Ravan had at least started his war with the ideal of preserving his species, even if he’d been corrupted by the power afforded by his position.
The idea of her grandson, adopted or not, being forced to face such a terrible threat at such a young age made her heart ache. Oh, how she wished she could take her boy’s place and rush into danger while he stayed back where it was safe. Better yet that he had remained in ignorance of the threat, never having to know the fear and stress of knowing he could be moments from death.
Before this was over she would force a promise out of Callion, one way or another. She wanted him to swear that she would not being seeing Liek in Other World. Not for a long, long time. At least not until he had stories of her great great grandchildren ready for her.

Surprised by Liek's successful execution of his new techniques, Callion, whilst still in his Super Saiyan form, decided to swiftly bring an end to the escalating confrontation, even as such an attack caught the Saiyan off guard for a moment. Recognizing the potential danger and the need for Liek to gain control over his instincts, not to mention, the hybrid’s very impressive speed and proficiency with which the young hybrids executed his beserking attacks revealed a power that Callion saw in the boy, something if only it could very well be controlled and forged like a refined blade. Callion aimed to conclude the bout without causing significant harm to the young man, whilst noting such an effective of these techniques, acknowledging the progress Like had made in such a short time.
With a burst of speed, Callion closed the gap between them, his Super Saiyan aura radiating with power. His goal was clear—to incapacitate Liek temporarily, allowing for a moment of respite and guidance rather than causing lasting damage. The Saiyan mentor, now in his Super Saiyan form, focused on bringing an end to the confrontation swiftly and without causing lasting harm to his pupil. The erratic nature of Liek's feral assault had provided an opening, and Callion seized the opportunity.
As the Saiyan's hand descended, charged with energy, he aimed for a precise yet forceful chop to the back of Liek's head. The intention behind the strike was to subdue the wild, feral instincts that had taken hold of the young warrior, providing an opportunity for a more constructive interaction once the battle's intensity had subsided.
Callion remained focused on his dual objectives: quelling the immediate threat and guiding Liek toward a more controlled mastery of his formidable abilities. The Saiyan mentor sought to strike a delicate balance between harnessing power and maintaining the discipline necessary for responsible use.

Fa watched on and thought of the little boy she’d taken under her wing so long ago, scared and confused, not knowing or understanding what was happening around him. Torn away from an obsessive mother and with his father, who only took him away out of spite, dying. Inion hadn’t really cared about the boy and the only reason he’d even given him a Saiyan name was to spite his mother, and he’d only told Fa about how the Saiyan Tail worked of some strange combination of pride and obligation. The child Liek had cried so much back then…
The two had quickly bonded, the child needing an adult to guide them, and her… she’d been robbed of the ability to have a child of her own, so having Liek come into her life had given her an opportunity she’d never expected she’d have. The child had filled the hole of loneliness she’d been slowly starting to be consumed by since the last of her friends had passed in the years prior. It hadn’t taken long for Liek to become every bit as important to her as if he had been her biological grandchild.
Which made watching what was happening all that much harder. That was her boy suffering and going berserk right there, it should be her in Callion’s place trying to stop him, to restore him to his sense and comforting him when he relived the trauma she knew he would be thrust back into. The first time he’d lost control like this had left deep scars, physically for her, and emotionally for him.
She had healed, but he had never wanted to experience what he’d become again… and yet here he was forced to do so again…
She doubted Liek would ever forgive Callion for this.
She wasn’t sure she could either…
The feral teen hadn’t let up on his attempts to attack Callion, but the elder Saiyan simply had the edge in experience and power. In between the boy’s wild attempts to strike the Super Saiyan the elder moved with precision and struck the boy at the base of the neck, the feral teen’s last conscious howl cutting off as blow did it’s work and the boy went limp in the air.
“Seems it’s over… for now.” Fa noted looked down at Liek, “Oh, my poor sweet Liek…” She looked up and glared at Callion with all the maternal fury only a grandmother could muster, “You had better not pull something like this again, young man, or you will find your next visit to Other World far from pleasant. Am I understood?” She threatened while very close to Callion’s face, a finger thrust in his face, “And you had better swear to me that the next time I see Liek it will be in the Other World… and only after he has stories to tell me about my Great Great Grandchildren, or so help me hell will feel like a vacation!”

Callion looked into Fa's eyes, the crimson glow of his Super Saiyan form meeting the vibrant green eyes of the spirited grandmother. He listened to her stern words and felt the weight of her maternal anger. The promise she demanded wasn't one he could easily give, but her words were laced with genuine concern for Liek. It was in moments like these that Callion felt the depth of the relationships he had disrupted, and the pain he had caused. "I apologize for what you had to witness," Callion began, his voice carrying a touch of regret. "And I appreciate your concern for Liek. He's a remarkable young man, and I assure you, my intentions, misguided as they may seem, are to help him control and understand the power within him."
He met Fa's gaze squarely. "I won't make promises I can't keep. The path ahead for Liek is uncertain, and the threats he'll face are formidable. But I will do what I can to guide him, to help him control the demon within, and to protect him from the looming danger of Arctic." Callion glanced down at the unconscious Liek, his expression softening. "I believe he has the potential to become a force for good, but it won't be an easy journey. I'll do my best to be there for him, as a mentor, not an adversary."
He then added with a hint of determination, "And I swear, I won't let Arctic harm him. The boy has suffered enough, and I won't allow anyone else to bring him more pain." Callion took a moment, continuing to absorb Fa's words and considering the weight of the situation. The Saiyan, known for his pride, calmness, and perhaps even arrogance, displayed a rare act of humility, even amongst his own kind. "Your grandson is stronger than he realizes, both physically and emotionally," he spoke sincerely, his gaze reflecting genuine admiration. "He may be facing trials that would break others, but I have hope that he can overcome them. And if he ever needs me, I will be there for him… Even if he will absolutely despise my guts for the rest of his days."
With that declaration, Callion began to power down from his Super Saiyan form. The golden aura dissipated, and the platinum gold hair reverted to its usual jet black. The overwhelming energy receded, leaving the Saiyan in his normal Base form. He then carefully cradled Liek in his arms, sensing the young Saiyan's weakened state.
From a pouch on his belt, Callion retrieved a senzu bean. He placed it gently in Liek's mouth, allowing the magical bean to work its rejuvenating effects. As the healing properties of the senzu bean took hold, Liek stirred in his unconscious state. Slowly, the boy's eyes fluttered open, and he found himself cradled in Callion's arms.
"Hey kiddo," Callion greeted, attempting a small smile. "You sure gave me quite the trouble, huh?"

The woman looked at Callion critically with a stern expression for a while and sighed, “Just be cautious of the suffering you yourself may leave in your wake. If the only way you can find to help people is by making them hate you, then you will find that allies are few and far between in your times of need.” She had seen that kind of arrogance before during the Fury War. Although in Callion it wasn’t as overt, in Callion it seemed he was doing it unintentionally. During that war, that man had burned every bridge around him to fuel his ambition and it left him utterly isolated in the end.
“Fine, I suppose that promise will have to do.” She conceded. It wasn’t like she could fight him on it, he was alive and she wasn’t. And she could tell that he had been holding even more power in reserve, his movements where just too refined for what she’d seen to be his limits. With a sigh she added some advice of her own, “Before calling yourself a mentor you should consider what is the best approach for your student, constantly analyse how you’re teaching them and find what works best for them. Behaving as you did today… it will only drive a wedge between the two of you if that student wont respond well.” She smiled sadly and added, “I’d originally intended to become a school teacher until… until the Fury happened.”
As the senzu bean worked it’s magic Liek’s body was fully healed and his energy restored, and with it his consciousness was also returned. Snapping from completely out of it to fully awake, as he normally did, he analysed his situation, sensing Callion extremely close. He opened his eyes the moment he saw Callion he reacted, swinging an uppercut at the older man’s jaw, “BASTARD!!”
“LIEK! STOP!” The boy’s Grandmother’s words snapped his attention to her and immediately all fight was sucked out of him.
Without another word the boy threw himself at his grandmother and embraced her, the woman returning the gesture with a sad smile, gently patting the boy’s back. “Oh, Liek. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry you had to go through that. I was never in any danger, that man simply wanted to draw out some latent power dwelling within your Saiyan blood.” Fa explained to reassure her grandchild while he looked up at her in confusion, “There is a power inside you, something called a Super Saiyan. It needs powerful emotions to draw it out, and the Callion thought bringing out your anger would do the trick… I tried to warn him, but he didn’t listen. I’m so, so sorry.” She apologised again before embracing Liek even more tightly.
“...I’m just glad you’re ok, Grandma.” The boy whispered. For a moment the two enjoyed each others embrace.
Fa smiled sadly before speaking again, “I’m pretty sure I have to go back soon. But, at least this time we get to say a proper goodbye, right?” She held her grandson out at arms length and looked him over, “You’ve grown so strong in such a short time, you mastered Energy Materialisation and started to master the other techniques I taught you. I’m so very proud of you, Liek. I know I left you far too early, but you have the strength of heart you need to live a full and happy life, whatever life that may be.” She smiled, “Remember how I always said you could lead any life you wanted? I meant it. And I still mean it. Any path you choose, protector of the world, hermit, janitor… even a conqueror, you will have my full support and I will be proud of you.” She leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead, “Just promise that I won’t be seeing you in Other World for a long, long time, ok?”
With trembling shoulders and tears running down his face the boy nodded, “I remember… and I promise.”
“I love, don’t you forget that, my sweet Grandson.”
“I love you too, Grandma.” Liek whimpered with a voice crack, knowing this was likely the last time he’d get to speak with what was one of the most important people to ever be in his life.
“OH! One last thing!” Fa suddenly got serious, “Have you read the letters I left you?”
“No?” The boy replied, “Why?”
“It is imperative that you do!” She replied, “For the sake of the future, maybe even everything, you must read those letters and prepare yourself…” She looked over at Callion then back at Liek, “It’s your choice and yours alone if you tell anyone else… I just want you to be ready.”
Confused the boy just blinked and replied, “Um… ok?”

Callion took the hit from Liek's uppercut without resistance, muttering under his breath, "I suppose I deserve that." He remained silent, giving the boy and his grandmother a moment to share their emotions and embrace each other.
Once Liek and his grandmother had finished their heartfelt exchange, Callion decided to intervene. He unfolded his arms and approached Liek, his expression more serious. "Listen, Liek," Callion began, "with everything I said before getting your grandmother involved, I didn't mean a word of it." He folded his arms again and continued, "Your grandmother is right. That was my whole plan the entire time – to bring out your true Saiyan potential. To see if you have the capabilities to transform into a False Super Saiyan. The only way I can do so is to bring out extreme anger and emotion. Genuine emotion, for that matter."
Callion took a moment before acknowledging, "I apologize for my actions. But I won't apologize for what I've seen. Your true potential is a power that could save lives, and I wanted to see if you could harness it. I won't pretend that I handled it perfectly, and I shouldn't have involved your grandmother without proper explanation. I was wrong in that regard." Callion dropped the stern expression and adopted a more sincere one, meeting Liek's gaze. "Liek, I know I messed up, and I can't justify my actions," he admitted. "I was desperate to bring out your potential, to see if you could transform. But I realize now that I went about it the wrong way. I should have been more honest with you and your grandmother from the start. I want to help you harness this power, but I should have earned your trust, not manipulated you. I understand if you're angry, and I'll accept whatever consequences come from my actions. Just know that my intentions were never to hurt you."
Callion's words held a genuine tone, acknowledging his mistakes and expressing a desire to make things right. The sincerity in his eyes conveyed a sense of remorse for the way he had handled the situation. It was now up to Liek to decide how he would respond to this admission and whether he could find a path forward with his mentor. Callion's expression shifted to a more serious and stern demeanor as he continued, "Now that I've seen this uncontrolled side of you, it's imperative that you start training and learn how to control that aspect of yourself. We can't risk something like this happening again without any control or understanding. I'll be strict in this matter because your safety and the safety of those around you depend on it."
He emphasized the importance of training to gain control over the volatile side that Liek had displayed, showing a commitment to helping the boy manage and understand his powers. The seriousness in his voice hinted at the gravity of the situation, indicating that this was not a matter to be taken lightly. The mentor had set his mind on guiding Liek toward mastering this aspect of his abilities, with an air of determination and purpose. Callion sighed, glancing at Liek's grandmother and then back at the young Saiyan. "It's time for me to return your grandmother to Otherworld. If there are any last words or things you both want to say to each other, now would be the time," he stated with a sense of acknowledgment of the emotional weight of the moment. The Saiyan warrior remained respectful, understanding the significance of the bond between Liek and his grandmother.

The boy glared at Callion for a moment before looking away, his voice tired, not from the physical strain since the senzu bean had replenished his stamina, but from the emotional roller coaster he’d just been subjected too, “I don’t care what your reasons where.” He scowled, “Your apologies mean nothing to me now. You’ve already shown you’re willing to lie and manipulate me, how am I to know everything you’re saying now isn’t just more attempts to manipulate?”
Prior to all this all Liek had had where a few initial impressions and the word of others. There was no foundation of even the most basic level of trust, and in one poorly considered action what little foundation there had been had been stained with pain and betrayal. Actions spoke louder then words and their scars ran deeper.
“I may be some naive kid raised in the woods, but I’m not dumb enough to take people at their word alone.” Was Liek’s reply to subject of further training, turning his back to Callion completely. He began to fly away when his grandmother interrupted him.
“Liek.” She said, placing a hand on his shoulder, “You don’t have to fight, you could always leave. You know that right?”
“Yeah…” the boy replied softly, his mind turning to another woman he knew, one with fluffy ears and a tail, “But there is something precious here I want to protect, someone who wouldn’t want to just leave…”
The older woman smiled, “In that case… I leave the rest to you Liek.” Her smile twisted into what could only be called a troll face as she leaned down and whispered into his ear, “Just don’t forget to wear protection.”
“GWUH-HUH?!” Was Liek’s response as his face turned beat read and steam shot out of his ears. Not dignifying the woman with a response the boy began to fly away, his feelings of betrayal overshadowed by newfound feelings of embarrassment.
Fa watched her grandson fly away for a moment before smiling sadly, “Before you ask, yes it is ok to leave things at that. Some day, he’ll look back on this last memory with me and laugh.” She drifted over to Callion and added, “It may be best to let his cool off before trying to approach him again. You’re making him relive some very bad memories on top of what he said. But I suppose that is a kind of foundation for a teacher and student, isn’t it? Both can learn from one another. Though in this case it may be you who has more to learn.” she looked out over the horizon and took one last look at the world she had once fought to defend and smiled, “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get me back to Other World.”

Callion nodded, acknowledging the wisdom in Fa's words. Without another word, he extended his hand, his energy sparking as he used Instant Transmission to transport both himself and Liek's grandmother back to Otherworld. After ensuring her safe return, Callion used the technique once more, leaving Liek alone for the time being. As he materialized back on Earth, Callion found himself in the solitude of his training space, a momentary respite from the recent chaotic events. His mind raced with the aftermath of the encounter with Liek, troubled by the rupture in their relationship and the damage caused by his approach. The weight of his responsibility as a mentor weighed heavily on his shoulders, the burden of guiding a young Saiyan hybrid through the turbulence of their emotions and potential power.
Callion paced back and forth, his mind clouded with conflicting thoughts. He understood the breach of trust that had been caused, the deep wounds inflicted on Liek's psyche, and the urgency to rectify his missteps. Yet, his resolve remained steadfast in the face of the looming threat of Arctic's arrival, not to mention with Like’s Demon side now realised and it is just as out of control as a wild Oozaru itself. The tumultuous emotions within him mirrored the turbulent nature of the situation. He grappled with the complexities of his role, torn between the urgency of protecting Earth and the need to rebuild the frayed trust between himself and Liek. As he grappled with these thoughts, a twinge of regret lingered within him, a regret for the mishandled approach that had pushed Liek further away.
With a sigh, Callion redirected his focus, allowing his Saiyan training instincts to take over. He delved into rigorous physical and mental preparations, intensifying his training regimen, honing his combat skills, and fine-tuning his energy control. Every movement was calculated, every breath deliberate, as he channeled his energy into preparing for the impending clash with Arctic. Amidst the intensity of his training, a part of Callion's mind remained fixated on Liek. He grappled with the question of how to approach the situation moving forward. He knew that trust was not something that could be rebuilt overnight, especially after such a profound breach. But he was determined, resolved to find a way to bridge the chasm that had formed between them.
As the hours passed and the sun began its descent beyond the horizon, Callion paused, feeling the weight of the responsibilities ahead. With a deep breath, he centered himself, drawing upon the teachings of his own mentors, recalling their guidance on resilience, patience, and compassion. The stars emerged in the twilight sky, a reminder of the vastness of the universe and the multitude of challenges it held. Callion gazed at the celestial expanse, contemplating his next steps. He knew that the road ahead would be arduous, fraught with trials and uncertainties, yet he was resolute in his commitment to safeguard Earth and guide Liek through the intricate labyrinth of his Saiyan heritage.
With a final glance at the stars, Callion steeled his resolve. He would give Liek the space he needed, allowing time to heal the wounds before attempting to mend the fractured bond. But when the moment was right, he would extend a hand, not as a master, but as a guide, hoping to rebuild the trust that had been shattered, and to unlock the potential lying dormant within the young Saiyan hybrid. With that determination burning within him, Callion resumed his training, preparing himself for the inevitable clash that awaited him and his protege. He would be ready, both as a warrior and as a mentor, for whatever challenges the future held.
