[DT3] Lighting Cross - Yangcong will send blue lightning to his feet, giving him the speed to be able to dodge incoming attacks. This mission was different than the others he had gone on. This mission involved strictly diplomacy. Council member York was an obese alien who had orange rough skin, purple spots all around his body and head, and he was a rather short individual at 5'0ft. So when the news came that York needed an escort, both Yangcong and Yakone were the current strongest saiyans that were available on Planet Vegeta. The mission had already started and that was to take York to the Galactic meeting between the PTO and the Saiyan Empire. They needed to do a mission where the PTO and the Saiyan Empire can settle to an agreement to prevent further destruction on both sides. While they were flying there, York was in his private quarters preparing on what he was going to say and Yangcong was down at the mess hall and eating up some food. He wondered where Yakone.

An arrangement with the PTO, using some fat slob politician as the broker. What could go wrong? Yakone had zero faith in this mission and its chance of success but would obey the command from the upper brass regardless. If there WAS a chance of ceasing hostility, however slim, that would free up much of the Empire's manpower and resources. The Saiyan had opted to spend the first leg of the journey prowling the ship for stowaways or bugs of any kind, frustratingly coming up with NOTHING and leaving him bored.
Eventually, he wandered into the mess hall, grabbing a pre-made tray piled high with meats and tubers before sitting down across from his father. "What do you think of this mission?" Yakone took a large, feral bite of a strip of meat, shredding it to pieces. "This whole thing stinks of a trap to me." And York was simply an expendable politician the Empire could afford to lose if things went south. The pudgy Alien wouldn't be seeing any ransoms paid on his behalf - or even soldiers sent to die in a rescue attempt. That being said, providing him with NO security or Saiyan escorts would be an insult to the PTO, so Yakone and Yangcong were frustratingly stuck playing that part.

"I don't have much fate in this mission. There has been so many casualties on both sides and I don't see either side willing to budge."
He would calmly fold his hands together as he started to sigh for a moment, almost in prayer.
"To be honest with you son, I have never taken a diplomacy mission like this before. The dangers of it can lead to greater changes both good and bad..."
Meanwhile
The fat orange alien was in his private quarters eating away at the royalty food that they had to offer on the ship to him compared to the saiyan soldiers on board. He ate like a king while they ate like common peasants. They were halfway to there destination already and the obese alien wanted to speak with both of his guards as he got on the microphone.
"Yangcong and Yakone, come to my private quarters for private meeting."
The microphone had cut off and Yangcong getting up from his seat and putting his tray right above the trash bin section for where the trays are placed after they are done eating.
"Lets get going, lets see what he wants from us."
The two elites were the best politicians bet in making out of this intergalactic meeting alive.

"So we are in agreement." Even if the intentions were legitimate, the day would come when the PTO and the Empire clashed. For as big as the galaxies were, both were ever-expanding beings. The Saiyans would never back down from the challenge, and the Changelings would never be content with letting a lesser race rule the cosmos. "Never?" Yakone was surprised. Shocked. "I know I never accompanied you on a purely diplomatic envoy before, but to hear that even YOU have never done so..." Were they really the best choice for the job? Surely the Empire would want experienced representative guardsmen on a mission this seemingly vital to ensure nothing went wrong.
Yakone looked up with a sneer as York's warbling voice rang out over the intercom. He followed his father in disposing what was uneaten, mood souring at the thought of enduring more of York's presence. "Yes. Let's." It didn't take long to reach the alien's quarters, five times the size of even the Elite bunkrooms. Yakone was the first to enter, nose crinkling at the copious excess of food the councilman had been gorging himself on. "Yangcong and Yakone, reporting. What is this meeting about?" He would never call this disgusting thing 'sir', no matter how much it insisted.

Upon entering the room, the fat slob had just been done eating a large disgusting flan desert that was covered in purple worms and other things. The orange alien looked at the both of them after reading their records.
"I have looked over both your records. It seems like you both have done a lot of things for the Empire. Which is a good thing considering that you both did assignments that not even most elites would touch. Anyways, while going over the reports, you both have never been to a diplomacy meeting before and this is where it gets serious.
We all know that both PTO and the Saiyan Empire have been enemies for many years. This isn't the time to make your grievances known. I will do the talking since I am a recognized council member. In order for this to go smoothly, you both need to keep an eye out on what might happen. During the last meeting, one of the council members was assassinated before they could even reach the meeting. The meeting never started."
"What exactly happened?"
"That council member just like me, wanted to be the voice of change to the other members. The problem was..Not many on the council even want to see the change and want to see us at war. That is where the money comes in for both sides that get funded by the planets that they have conquered over the years. So even though I am trying to make that change now for my old friend. My life is at risk for a greater tomorrow. That's why I had asked for the best soldiers to protect me while I try to drive this speech to the meeting today. Luckily for me however, no rumors have surfaced that this is going to happen, which is why I will be able to get in there without a problem. Do any of you have any questions?"
"I don't, no"

"We won't." Yakone had no intention of trying to wave a big stick around an important conference. If anyone was going to spark hostilities, it'd be York or the PTO. He didn't appreciate the dig - unintentional or not - at the Saiyans and their self-control. "Dead?" Some guardsmen, then. Either the soldiers had grossly neglected their duties, the assassins were among the best money could buy, or something else was at play. Yakone elected to keep quiet as York answered his father's question, soaking up as much information about the prior incident as he possibly could. Knowing how and when the last representative was killed might prevent a repeat.
"And you're confident that nobody would possibly plot against you? These are dark times, councilman. As your professional guard, I urge you to take precautions in the hours leading up to this event. Perhaps we should even consider having you discreetly take different quarters, just for tonight?" Yakone didn't want to save the Alien's ugly hide out of kindness, but allowing him to die on their watch would reflect poorly. No matter how uncooperative he was with their security requests. Hopefully Yangcong would support him on these measures. They were necessary.

After hearing both of them speak, he would listen to them and now they had finally arrived to the diplomacy meeting. As the alien walked out of his ship, Yangcong was on the alien's right side as they walked. Yangcong getting several eyes and stares at him, clearly the rumors even spread in the diplomacy region as well as other planets. Upon arriving at the hotel that the alien was suppose to stay in, he was quick to cancel it and he was quick to order a new hotel room. After that was sorted out, the alien would his way to the actual meeting chambers where only one guard could enter the actual meeting place, while the other had to wait outside in idle. Yangcong had looked at his son and whispered to him.
"Stay outside and watch the other guards and see if anyone is trying to do anything. I have a bad feeling about this meeting."
Yangcong has always heard of how these meetings had typically gone in the past. Both guards were always allowed to be inside the meeting at all times. However in this case, only one was allowed in. So clearly something was happening and Yangcong didn't like it one bit. Now both the alien and Yangcong had entered the meeting place where a PTO council member was there with one of his own guards there as well. Clearly the PTO was playing by the same rules but lets see how well this meeting actual goes.
"Ah, if it isn't Council Member Jaws. I believe the last time we met was at a banquet on planet Jooks."
"That is correct, we both ate that giant pie and I lose the bet that day that I could finish it first."
The guard that was with council member Jaws, was an elite red brenchian that had a PTO rifle and PTO revolver on his hip and looking like a typical cowboy. Clearly, he hired the best soldier to keep him company. The red brenchian would casually nod his head towards the direction of Yangcong and tipping his hat to him in respect. Yangcong would do the same, minus the hat of course.
