PL: 9,064 (Weighed Down) | Items: Super Weighted Clothes (75% pl reduction, +75% pl gains), Scouter | WC: 410 Back at Dirty Snakes HQ, Derrick was busy as ever filing out a bit of paperwork. Normally he'd be doing this inside of his office, but he wanted to get a bit of a change in scenery, and rather than sitting in the stuffy room filing literal sheets of paper, he's instead opted to file out digital files out in the fenced off back of the building. Under most circumstances he wouldn't exactly have a very big workload since his secretaries for each of his businesses would take care of most of the files while Derry himself worked exclusively on the files that were a bit more confidential and had information related to the gang. This time, however, was quite different given the circumstances of what he was filing out. Not only is he filing out papers regarding the information gathered from scouts relaying what happened over in another one of the cities Blueberry attacked, but also information regarding some of Earth's new arrivals...
There have been reports of a group of saiyans making their way over to Earth from Plant, with one of them reportedly already arriving ahead of the pack. The scouts are still gathering information on that guy, but he's been a bit elusive at the current moment. Besides, what really matters was the rest of the saiyans that were all traveling here in one ship. He's not quite sure what it is that they're coming here for, but he has a suspicion that something big is going to happen as a result of this meeting. It's no secret that Earth and Vegeta haven't been on the best terms with each other, and given what he himself knows about saiyans, this can either go surprisingly well or very, very poorly.
Still, so long as they didn't bother Derrick, he doesn't have much of a reason to bother them. War between the two planets can be a bit of a give-and-take situation, where he'll get some extra business at the cost of some extra risk from both sides. He's debated doing something about this whole thing, but what he's going to do with this information is still a bit up in the air. For now, perhaps he should shelve the stuff and save it for later, maybe give it some thought over the next few days or something along those lines.

While meeting old friends was always a cause for joy, after several eons of being alone and secluded, it made it difficult to approach. The demon had arrived to this tiny gem expecting to find no one, not a soul he knew. But who was the first person he searched for right after Sobi and his lab? Derry, though he didn't rightly remember Derry. That conversation about forgetting each other had been a rather ironic one it seemed, and how history would only remember them as names...
He did however know what he was looking for, patterns in business and methods. Kamae had worked with Derry a long time in the past, but this one was different. The central city base was non-existent. He didn't know if he could even find it if he wanted to after so long. But now he as he stood outside the base in north city, Kamae adjusted his tie and gently ran a hand over his mouth. He pondered meeting him as his old appearance but... perhaps that story was best left in the past.
With a sigh, Kamae pushed forward as he walked through the door. Not walked through the open door, but rather he simply passed through the door. His body phasing through it like a ghost as he tried to find his way around this place. Kamae did draw some attention, obviously phasing through walls left and right without knowing where you are going would eventually cause some problems. Eventually, after nearly five minutes of searching quickly, Kamae found him in the back room.
Thankfully no alarm had been sounded yet, and the demon stood in the shadows behind Derry. The yellow eyes of Kamae watching as the man he knew in another gem of creation. How could Kamae forget Derry, his only friend and sole supporter. Lowering his eyes and gently rubbing his chin in thought... he wondered if it was wise to bring Derry into his plans again... after all he might not be the same man. Sure they looked similar with some ki differences he was sure, but they were hard to tell apart. Kamae was about to speak up when the double doors on his left burst open.
Guards telling Derry about an intruder only to be cut off by Kamae stepping out of the shadows and into the light of the door way. He simply held up his hands as he looked at Derry in the eyes. Hopefully he was up and about after that intrusion at least.
"Hello there Derry, names Kamae Ghoun. You don't know me... but I know you sir."
Kamae stated, keeping his hands up as he waited for a response to that cryptic message. Hopefully it got Derry's attention enough for him to allow Kamae to speak. Again, while the demon knew this was indeed Derry... they were not the same. He had to becareful.

WC: 438 | TWC: 848 As Derrick started to finish going through some of the newly acquired files, the boss couldn't help but feel a bit of a chill overcome him. That was of great concern for the human given his innately high body temperature, what with the flames he possesses in his body and whatnot. A cold nip in the air or hell, even a tundra isn't enough to get the man to shiver, so this was immediately something much, much different. The man listened closely to hear if anything was going on around him, but all he heard was silence. No alarm, no shouting from in the base or even on the streets... Signs that didn't exactly bode well. He turns the pad off and looks about the surroundings in front of him, seeing nothing standing out, at least, not until he felt a presence creeping up.
The doors to the back alley swing open, and the boss immediately turns to face them, his hand extended outward and prepared with pink flames at the ready to shoot at whoever was behind them. Fortunately, it was just two of Derrick's own guards, and yet he still didn't lower his hand. Even with them around, there still was something off about the air, and that would only be confirmed when the two mention that they've detected an intruder in the hideout. "There's an intruder, and you didn't bother sounding the-" he started to ask before his eyes shifted to the left of the door, and he suddenly notices two glowing yellow eyes in the shadows. A figure begins to step forward as the boss moves his hand to aim the flames towards this intruder, and yet he came out with his hands in the air, already surrendering to them.
The individual greets him and calls himself Kamae Ghoun, a rather ominous sounding name that, given the glowing eyes and seeming ability to blend into the shadows, immediately gives Derrick the feeling that he's not dealing with any ordinary human. "You're right, I don't know a Kamae Ghoun, nor do I recall inviting a Kamae Ghoun to my hideout," Derrick barks, still holding the flames up and ready to fire if something goes wrong. The two other guards have their guns pointed at the intruder, but the boss states, "Guns aren't gonna be of use here, boys. Head back inside, I'll take care of this." The guards nod their heads before grabbing hold of the doors and closing them, leaving just Derrick and this Kamae. "So you know me, eh? Lots of people know me, buddy. Now, why are you here?"

While the fools hadn't sounded the alarm exactly, Taiyo was already on the move. The sword monk moving swiftly through the building until he arrived at the scene of the interest. An intruder had not only gotten past everyone, he had managed to sneak up to Derry. Not exactly the best first day on the job, but he supposed if Derry wasn't hurt yet, he hadn't failed. Slowly walking forward, Taiyo unsheathed his Katana Hina, who was also feeling the effects of... whatever this dark dressed individual was doing.
Taiyo would come to a stop several yards away but well within striking distance of his target. He could see Derry pointing his fire at the stranger and with Taiyo's flames, he doubted this intruder would get very far if they didn't want him too.
"Hi, names Taiyo. Nice to meetcha. If you don't mind keeping your hands were I can see em, I won't accidently incinerate you ok?"
Taiyo said with a friendly smile, yet his eyes were deadly serious. Taiyo had every intention of killing this intruder if he could, the red shine in his eyes was faint but there. He gave off a killers intent as he stood in the hall, ready to cut off any attempt of escape. While he was glad the intruder was surrendering... he couldn't help wonder why get this far? Did Derry stop em? The sword monk's eyes wanted to look to Derry for Answers but he refused to take his eyes off his target.
The floor and wall near Taiyo were starting to heat up as the sword Hina get ready to battle.
"Hey Derry... Should I escort our friend out? Sorry I just got here, I was only just told as well. No excuse I know, I'll do better next time boss. My bad again."
Taiyo apologized but knew also didn't want to discuss this further while an intruder was present but simply wished to apologize briefly. He got the creeps from this guy, like very badly. Taiyo liked everyone, he could become almost anyone's friend. But this creature, whatever it was hurt Taiyo's heart just to be near. He felt it bleed in sorrow for some reason. He said nothing, but his smile was gone as he continued to stand there. Taiyo felt a chill run up his spine for a moment, unsure why he felt uneasy.

Kamae simply smiled as the man spoke of inviting someone into his base named Kamae Ghoun. The demon felt nostalgia race up his spine, and for a moment those dark eyes took on a sad but also grateful look to being questioned. How he had missed his friends voice, even if he was being questioned Derry had a level head and wasn't pushing him out the door... He had a feeling even this one was curious. It wasn't till someone else approached from behind. An unknown individual who sported swords, ones Kamae immediately saw had spirits housed within them. The ancient magius wasn't out of his mind yet with old age.
The sword was unsheathed, the demon looked at his blade only to feel it shiver in fear of his gaze. He wasn't strong, not yet... but he was still a very capable wizard. The man then asked if Derry wished for the man to escort him out. This was the time to speak up he thought.
"Before you do so... I apologize for breaking in. But it was a chance to relive a memory... I am not here as a foe, but as a friend. I am here to offer my services and perhaps make a friend."
Kamae stated, keeping his hands where they could be seen. He had every intention of trying to earn their trust, but he worried this third wheel was going to interrupt his plans.
"A man with spirits in his blades, a fine pick as a worker Derry. I dare say he could slay me before I turned around haha."
Kamae laughed friendly but even that sounded a little menacing giving his just overall appearance and current presence.
"So what say you Derry, wanna grab a whisky and hear the story of a demon a couple billion years old my new old friend."
Kamae stated the last little cryptic bit for fun, the charming smile returning as he pulled his hood down to reveal his green hair. His features were smooth, healed from their injuries and the demon's eyes reflected warmth unbecoming of a demon of the void. He truly did care about Derry, even if it wasn't the same one. It showed in his actions, probably like he was a psychopath who just really liked Derry for no reason, but to Kamae he was able to introduce himself to an old best friend. He got to hear his voice again if nothing else. Closing his eyes for a moment, breathing in and then out, his eyes returned to Derry as he awaited his answer. The man was usually willing to make a deal, was this one the same?

WC: 372 | TWC: 1,220 As if right on queue, it seems as if someone else had decided to interrupt the all-so-sudden meeting between Derrick and the demon as Taiyo makes his way in. His sword was already drawn, and though he looked rather relaxed himself and possessed a calm tone, Derry could see the man's eyes were razor sharp, aimed directly at the intruder. He offers to escort him off of the premises before apologizing for being a bit late and that he should've remained a bit more vigilant. "Do not worry about that, it's good that you're here regardless," he mentions, "Now before you escort this lost man out of here, I'd at least like to know why he was skulking about my business."
Kamae then speaks up and claims that he is merely a friend and he's more than willing to offer his services. Derrick is always a bit short on hands, so already he was intrigued by the potential offer for a position, though he still needed to check one last thing. One of the fireballs in his hand extinguish as he brings it up to the side of his head, his fingers making way towards a button on his scouter sunglasses. Upon pressing, it takes but a moment to scan Kamae as it returns with a rather interesting result: Barely above two thousand. Perhaps there wasn't really much danger at all. The other flame immediately extinguishes as he no longer believed that he was in any sort of danger before turning back over to Taiyo, the boss stating, "False alarm, Taiyo, you can go back to whatever you were doing. That, or you could join in for a drink."
He then steps forward towards the demon before asking, "Kamae, was it? How exactly did you hear about me? Learned about any of my more recent exploits? Perhaps recommendations from the likes of other criminals? Or... What?" Before they would go to get drinks, he needed to know how he came to know about Derrick and his operations with the Dirty Snakes. He's held up the disguise of being a businessman on the surface, but it seems as if this guy was already aware of what he's really about.

While the sword monk didn't understand what was going on, he could gather the stranger knew Derry. But the boss didn't seem to know who this guy was. It was a little nerve wrecking because Taiyo couldn't sense energy, but the vibe he got from this guy was akin to watching a rotting body on the side of the road. He didn't like looking at the man for some reason, he turned Taiyo's stomach into knots and he didn't understand why. Some part of Taiyo struggled with the idea of killing the man, a completely unbecoming thought for the swordmonk.
He waged war inside as the two talked, and when Derry told him it was a false alarm, Taiyo didn't agree. This man wasn't normal, he was evil. Taiyo could feel it, this man was as evil as he was good of heart. Taiyo knew he was not a bad person, a humble person but when comparing himself to the sensation he got from Kamae... He felt like a saint. The sword monk still hesitated even as Derry told him to stand down, only sheathing his sword after a long pause.
He would scratch the back of his head before laughing nervously.
"I am sorry Derry... I know this might sound weird but... If I stay here I'll kill that man. I think... I think I'll go see what Andrew is up to at the front desk. If you need me, just blow something up. I'll come running."
Taiyo didn't know how Derry would take it when Taiyo told him he was going to kill this stranger. The two sharing an uncomfortably long stare before finally the sword monk turned to leave and waving good bye. He said nothing else fearing he might simply just slay the innocent stranger. He felt awful for that feeling, he didn't feel like he should think the stranger was evil. But his heart, his soul and body told him all he needed to know. That stranger was bad news... for everyone. The human didn't like wishing death on people... but Taiyo hoped the boss killed him and quickly.

The demon looked to Derry when he spoke of letting him stay, then going as far as to say it was a false alarm. The demon's brow raised but he suspected Derry knew he wasn't a threat either through power or his words. Either way, kamae had gotten what he wanted and the sword monk was not pleased. Kamae looking over his shoulder at the man who seemed to be struggling with the urge to kill him. The two sharing a rather tense moment of staring each other down.
There were rare individuals who the demon could look into the eyes of someone and see potential in them. Derry for example was one, the next being the potential ally Marrow. But Taiyo... Taiyo was like another flea he couldn't remember the name of. Some shinjin with a sword, frustratingly pure and radiated it as well. Taiyo was not pure of heart perhaps, but he was clearly a very good hearted individual. Kamae could smell it on him, and he hated it. Oil and water, black and white. He found it amusing, and knew he was going to have to kill Taiyo later on... If not soon before becomes a threat.
"Bye bye hired help."
Kamae stated over his shoulder, the final stare between the two one could almost see sparks in the air. When Taiyo was gone, Kamae turned his attention back to Derry only to shake his head slowly.
"No you see... Hmm... How to explain this. Repeating history, alternative timeline, alternative dimension, perhaps my imagination. It doesn't matter. You my once closest friend worked in a similar line. I only remember you because you were the only mortal in all my years to catch my attention as you did. Calm, collected, objective, but also had a side that could see the uselessness in wanton slaughter. You have a vision... A goal for yourself and you reached until you got it. Most powerful man on earth, with a network of syndicates under you... I even obeyed you."
Kamae stated that last bit like it should probably mean something to Derry, but probably didn't. A void god, a being who tore holes open in reality, who tangled with sun priestess that threw suns, demon princess that wielded shadows with the precision of a century old assassin and creativity of a kid, and many more. A being who had subjugated primordial entities older than the universe itself... Worked on earth for a crime gang ran by derry... Something should be said about that, that even after he had grown so powerful he could probably have overthrown his friend... He didn't. He murdered his wife and daughter... but not Derry... Strange that.
"Heh... Thinking on it... It doesn't matter. What matters is you are here and I am here in this moment alive... Difficult to understand how disorienting this is... to be outside of creation but also inside of it as well. To be unsure if you are in your own gem of reality, or if you are in someone elses. Am I dreaming? Is this universe even real? Its hard to say. I am a bit mental Derry, a few billion or so eons of traveling in nothingness, armed only with my own willpower to live and remain sane... and my thoughts. I'm a bit broken Derry, in the head I mean."
Kamae was clearly insane, if his words were anything to go by. But in reality he was perfectly able to discern if he existed in this moment. It was difficult to grasp reality after being trapped in a dimension where the laws of physics do not apply and one did not possess an eternal body. Now he was mortal once more... he could die. This body was a copy of his old talos form, before he was split in two. Now he was whole. But despite this, eons of traveling in a realm of pure chaos and nothingness had taken its toll...
Kamae's mind was brought back to the talisman Derry had him work on, to which he did and had suffered visible aging in front of Derry. He had spent EONS in the void now, unable to determine how long he had been in there. Eternal and sustained by the fact his original body had evolved past such needs. He still didn't NEED to eat, as negative energy did sustain him, but he liked it. Snapping himself from his thoughts, the demon would sigh as he placed a hand to his forehead.
"I am from outside of reality Derry... Or well... This one? Maybe? Or maybe I was from this one. It matters little in the end, just know I met a version of you once. A friend, my only friend. I'd like to try that again... its been a very long time since we talked Derry... I'd really at least like to sit down for a cup of coffee..."
Kamae's voice was almost begging for the coffee, though he would be loathed to admit it. He didn't realize exactly how much it sounded like a beg but the emotion was there without knowledge. He really just missed his old friend, like an old man misses his old war veteran friends. To Kamae, Derry was like an ancient relic, priceless and beyond approach. He cared deeply for his friend, and it was apparent.

WC: 409 | TWC: 1,629 Of course Taiyo was still very much concerned about the arrival of this new face without Derrick's explicit permission, but this wouldn't exactly be the first time he's had to deal with people like this Kamae. It really does seem like the nomad is the kind of person who just doesn't really put his trust into the especially shady people, though of course the boss is far more used to company similar to the intruder. His guard really did look like he was considering cutting Kamae down right then and there, but he eventually shows restraint and, on Derry's orders, leaves the scene, mentioning something about speaking to Andrew up front. "I'm sure it won't be long, don't you worry Taiyo," Derry reassures, and he's willing to make sure that this remains brisk and short. Whether it ends in partnership or bloodshed has yet to be seen, of course.
Now he shifts his focus back on the elephant in the room, or more specifically the demon. Apparently this guy has met Derry before, except in a different timeline. Or a different dimension. Universe? Honestly, Derrick didn't really fully understand nor really cared, for all that mattered was that there was some sort of alternate reality where he was apparently Kamae's boss. Of course the evidence for something like that is a bit limited, but he probably shouldn't say anything about that given that it'd be nice to have a bit of assistance from a demon every now and then. From what he saw with Zaks' magic, it can be quite potent. "Riiiight," Derry mutters, still wrapping his head around this whole thing Kamae's going on about.
Of course the boss couldn't help but chuckle when the demon mentioned that he was a bit broken in his head, and he couldn't help but respond, "I figured," before laughing just a little bit to himself once more. "Well alright, if you're looking for a coffee, then we might have something inside for you. To be perfectly honest I don't really know much about you Mr. Ghoun, but I'll be putting some faith in your word. Let's talk a bit more inside, I'm sure you're dying for some coffee, or hell, anything with caffeine probably." Derrick makes his way up to the door and opens it up. He steps right on inside and allows the demon to walk in, to which he closes the door once he enters.

Kamae would simply nod sagely as the human offered him coffee or anything for that matter. He didn't know how Derry would react to him this go around, it was a little terrifying if he was honest. Some part of him wanted to run away, to simply disappear from Derry's view. He wondered if the old Derry would have thought he was pathetic or not? No... he doubted that very much. He had trust in Derry before, he would trust him now as well. Straightening himself up and walking alongside Derry, kamae chuckled to himself.
"You know, the last version of you had a body guard... Don't remember her name but think she blew up the moon once cuz she was angry. Don't remember what she looked like either, but you had a lot of crazy subordinates back then... or... now? You know what, lets just say it was a really long time ago for my own sanity please."
Kamae would hold out his hands like he was placing a piece of paper down on a table, perhaps he was mentally. Like he had mentally put down a law for himself, so that he could organize the information flooding his brain. Kamae was experiencing a whole new world, and everything that came with that. Similarities and all the different changes. He was trying to wrap his head around the law of what he could work with.
"Anyways, lets start fresh shall we. I apologize for sneaking in, but I hope you can forgive me. After that explanation hopefully it gives some semblance of meaning. Names Kamae Ghoun. Elder demon of a few eons. Genetics expert, astrologist, biologists, etc etc. I am capable of doing many things Derry. With me working alongside you again... You and I will make you a ton of money. We will be filthy rich before its over. Wars we can profiteer off of, trade routes we can 'set up' for inspection and so on."
Kamae would chuckle as they walked, enjoying the moment he got with Derry again. How he felt his mind settle on more... grounded things when Derry was around. No need to start off by destroying the galaxy, white board it... take it slow. Start small. Criminal gang, need to get it roaring and going... Maybe even make Derry president again... Yea...."
"Hey Derry... How do you feel about politics my old new friend? Ever thought about... being king?"
Kamae asked with a clearly mischievous grin on his face, clearly feeling out Derry but also showing him the ambition they could have. Set him up as a ruler of earth, both helps Kamae and Derry... Kamae was excited now to begin working again. His hands clapping together and beginning to rub as he let his thoughts go. He wondered if all the gangs of the earth had been taken over yet, where was Derry in everything? The demon would find this out in time hopefully... But for now, coffee.

WC: 386 | TWC: 2,015 These sorts of little stories that Kamae was sharing were certainly quite interesting, especially regarding the one where one of his bodyguards apparently blew up the moon, or at least a chunk of the moon. If what the demon is saying is completely true, then that version of Derrick must certainly be someone with some crazy amounts of influence. "Certainly sounds... interesting," he comments, pondering on just what kind of mindset he was in to want to destroy a chunk of the damn moon. The most he could think of is that it would be inconvenient if he had hired a whole bunch of saiyans, they all decided to look right at the moon and couldn't quite control themselves in that great ape form of theirs. Of course, at the current rate of the Snakes in this universe, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
Eventually Kamae finally gets around to apologizing for snooping around the business of the Dirty Snakes before moving on to some more pressing matters as he speaks about the potential cash war can bring in. He couldn't help but raise a brow at the thought of having some genetic scientist or whatever he was assisting the boss of the Dirty Snakes to spearhead wars and take advantage of new trade routes. Just what the hell was the other Derry doing to give Kamae this sort of mindset? "You are most certainly ambitious, I will give you that," he comments, "But there's this talk about war and trade routes and whatnot. What exactly do you have in mind? Things might be tense in the political sphere at the current moment, but I'm not entirely sure if war is particularly on the table. Alright, maybe the saiyans want to throw their hands into the ring, but..."
Derrick stops his ramblings before returning to listening to what Kamae had to say. Next, he asked about Derrick's interests in politics before mentioning if he would like being king. Once more, his brow would be raised in curiosity, but all he could mutter was, "Go on..." Where does this idea of Derrick being king come from? Did the other version of himself have dreams of one day becoming the king of Earth? Did he ever succeed in becoming the king of Earth?

Kamae would simply nod to Derry as the man asked his questions only for the demon to adjust his shoulders as if he was about to give a big time presentation. The usual corporate flinch that was a cliche in most films he supposed, but it felt nice... considering Kamae predated any film that existed currently. How to begin this speech about where to begin, ahh he felt like death on his pale horse again. A fresh young sampling demon out to help his old friend take the universe by the balls once more. Sure he hadn't been there for whole kit and stash but he had been through a hell of a lot. "Derry, let me pitch you an idea my friend... One I am rather good at."Kamae would round the corner with Derry, the two moving to his more reclusive Office. There the demon would open the boss man's door for him, (POOCG) allow the human to enter as he followed behind with a charming smile unlike he did before. Perhaps this was his fate all along, but that was a scary thought to entertain. Predetermined fate with no escape, such paradox have thrown many a mind into stale and stagnation. Kamae was no such man, he believed only in his actions and those of his comrades. He was sure Derry succeeded in his world, that he grew rich, got fat and lazy as an old man father... and died a king. A fain't smile on the demon's lips as he thought of his old friend. As the boss man would enter around his desk to take his seat, Kamae would wave his hand subtly to allow his magic to push the cheer out for his esteemed friend. As Derry would take his seat, (POOCG) Kamae would slowly move the two chairs before Derry's desk with a wave of his hand. The two chairs going to the edges of the room neatly and softly, as if ghosts had thrust them into walls of pillows. Kamae stood before the boss man chuckling, thinking how he remembered that if he was ever going to show Derry another project... He might add a bit of flare for all the miss chances they would have because of his blunder. The lights dimmed as Kamae's magic snuffed the energy from the very bulb, shutting it off effectively until the switch was reused... Might also have to redo the switch as on would be off then. Kamae would snicker about that later while Derry was annoyed about it. Black magic would begin to form at his feet, filling the room's floor and surrounding Derry yet never touching him. The black primordial magic would actually flee from Derry if he tried to pursue grabbing it, though if he did he would probably suffer some mild acid like burns on his hands. "As you know about me, I was once the aid of a great man named Derry... A respected man who brought about unity no matter the cost... Criminal gangs that did not bend the knee..."Kamae then showed scenes of violence, generic and random with no indication Derry had done any of that. It then showed Derry in his boss room from before, though the room was far more... sparse and lacked decoration, most like to the fact Kamae didn't remember Derry's office very well. It was eons ago, so long ago Kamae could not even tell or judge the time. The demon simply continued on as it showed some generic person speaking to Derry when kamae burst in. Shortly after them shaking hands, a deal is formed. The two grow richer off each other, A steady supply of money and riches for them both. Kamae's chances to betray Derry when his back was turned, his chances of brand new power capable of tearing asunder the very air they considered their home in this black abyss. Yet sheathed his sword when he was in the presence of Derry. "Then you met me... A lonely demon scientist hell bent on universal destruction... Only to be sweet talked into more... practical approaches. Imagine me, elder demon who had wiped countless civilizations from the face of the universe... being told to be... practical."Kamae let that sink in a moment before adjusting his posture while the imagines continued to show in this mirror like disks of black magic. A sort of slimy mirror on the wall of sorts, but showed off the past that Kamae wished displayed or images as well. A minor parlor trick but fun for theatrics and amusements. He was dreadfully bored for eons, he hoped Derry was ok for some pampering today. Kamae was ready to throw all his tricks... currently accessable. "In time... we grow strong, fat and content... but I wasn't nearly as content. I... I had a yearning within me, an ambition that unfortunately I believe outstripped your own in due time."Kamae stated, looking down to Derry, idly molding the primordial magic about him. They both knew Derry wasn't in any trouble, he could leave any time he damn well pleased. But Kamae was having fun with it, and was clearly showing he meant no harm despite the alarming about of the magic about. "I went out... Struck my own deals, a tiny bit bitter at you. I believed you had lost your ambition to grow alongside of me and in some ways was offended that you would not seek endlessly the dogged pursuit of power... But you outlived me it seemed..."Kamae stated, placing a hand to his chin in thought... he had been wildly reckless before... so wildly rickless he had forfeited his chance at surprise from the near go... Yes, he had made amateur move after amateur move... then rushed head long into a battle only to be disappointed he wasn't up to scratch on deaths door... Yes he supposed life did take funny turns like that. Looking back to Derry with a chuckle and smile, he could only guess what the old Derry got into. Ever the faithful but distant companion. "In the end the one who lived is right... I died that day when I turned to an eldritch monstrosity..... I lost the right to call myself mortal."Kamae then showed Kamae mutated, despairing in misery, darkness and like a broken miner clinging to the last of a light in a mine shaft, Kamae's demise was sealed. Yet next to it a more brightly showed future, happy and still alive... Whether true or not was not the matter of today, but of that moment. "While I was beaten down and left to rot... you were at peace with your surroundings. While I do not know the end of your tale... I believe it has a happy ending. You, your loved one, and a little one. Neither of which I know the name of and purposely kept it that way."Kamae held up a hand then, showing a black figure against a white background of a woman and child. A large red X appearing over it. "I had a strict no knowledge of personal affairs and as I am revealing all my secrets to you now in hopes you will not betray me... on the honor of being the friend I believe you to potentially be. I will not betray you Derry... Of this we have an oath so long as you do not betray me. I will not actively harm your business, nor bring misfortune upon you willingly..."Kamae would shift then to an image of Derry being president, some planes flying behind him, some tanks rolling to the left beneath the air craft. A clear sign that showed he was the president of earth, but here? On the other screen held up in Kamae's right hand, the president screen suspended in his left. Like a show room displayer, Kamae held them expertly at eye level so his future potential boss could see without straining his neck. "You could be the king of earth, a completely monopoly on business and on the surface look to be a benevolent king... but we both know the truth..."A picture of a king with a crown could be seen. The opposite was of derry standing behind his castle with defenders ready to battle against evil. "Imagine my friend... We get you into the seat of the monarchy, the head honcho... the only name that matters in politics."Kamae stated, showing off wealth rolling in but people showing it on him gladly. A king paid to make them happy so they make him happy. An easy system to understand he hoped. "You see... This war... Oh this war Derry is beyond just a simple war my friend. It opens the door to infinite possibilities. We stand at the cusp of a revolutionary idea..."Kamae would begin drawing up plans for the war idea while allowing Derry time to catch his thoughts up to all of this and ask his questions.

WC: 694 | TWC: 2,709 Kamae seemed more than intent on pitching this idea to Derrick, so he better have something interesting to say to the guy. The boss has already had his fair share of people just trying to fluff him up and make him feel good, which did nothing to make any sort of progress for the gang whatsoever. Derry just hopes that the demon will actually have a point with his upcoming ramblings as the pair walk towards his office. He allows Kamae inside before the boss takes his own seat behind the desk, resting his arms upon said desk and waits in baited breath for what the demon has to share about his grand plan, or whatever it is that he's trying to pitch. Though he can't help but be a skeptic, he's strangely optimistic about this guy despite the circumstances.
The demon would flaunt his magical prowess a bit by moving the two chairs in front of Derrick's desk away and into the corners of the room before making the lights flicker before completely shutting off. The boss takes a candle on his desk and snaps his fingers, creating a small pink flame at the tip of his pointer finger that he proceeds to light the candle with, giving off a faint lemon scent. That was, however, the least of his concerns as once he placed the candle down, some strange looking black substance starts to creep all over the place and completely take over the room. His eyes glare at the stuff, and he's just debating right here and now if this is actually some sort of elaborate trap and if he should just burn it all away if this was happening.
His attention is soon drawn towards one end of the room as it appears as if a sort of slide presentation was unfolding, showing images of Derrick himself doing things he hadn't really done before, places he hadn't really been in before once more flaunting his own strength as a bringer of the end times that was talked into just being a criminal. After that, he mentions that he had his own grand ambitions and sought greater heights than what Derry himself had desired, only for it to end in disaster for him. He does also mention that Derrick had his loved ones by his side and had his own little happy ending, likely referring to Hazel, Maggie, and potentially even Arson, though he specifically mentions one 'little one.'
After all of that is said and done, Kamae pledges that so long as Derrick didn't stab him in the back, the demon would do the same and not stab the boss in the back, for old times sake. At least, it's probably for old times sake for Kamae, but Derrick was still just learning about all of this. Images of Derry being in a seat of power, Derry being the king of the planet, Derry holding all of the power in the world would flash before him as Kamae really starts playing the part up and making the boss' imagination run wild with thoughts of grandeur. As the demon went to construct plans relating to this war, though, Derrick had to ask a few questions about all of this.
"So me being king of the planet wasn't ambitious enough? Is that what I'm getting?" Derrick asks, regarding why the demon had eventually left his side in that alternate universe. "Sounds like a good time to me personally, but clearly you had greater ideas of grandeur, at least back then. I ain't really going to question all of this magic going around since if I start asking about it, we're not going to make any sort of progress whatsoever. What I am truly curious about, however, is all of this war talk. You're talking big game here, you know. War ain't exactly a joke or anything like that. It needs to be oh so carefully plotted out and it needs to be reliable. And who exactly would we be targeting with this shadow campaign, at least I think it's a shadow campaign. Actually, what even is the plan?"

Kamae looked over his shoulder as Derry spoke of being king was not enough, but to Kamae that wasn't... Perhaps Derry had forgotten- no. This Derry didn't remember or know why. Though he suspected even if the two had shared that common reasoning for being as passive as they had been... It had been the lack of communication to Kamae that had frustrated him, the lack of back up and the fact Kamae had been the one pulling most of the weight for the snakes when called.
Still, the demon crossed his arms as Derry continued to talk, asking about war and the reasoning for it. He was right, this was a big deal, no small thing to simply brush off with no concern. To which Kamae decided to answer the questions in the order they came in.
"You see... I lacked the understanding of your goals, and still to this day don't understand your tactics. But it seems it worked for you... I however have a much more grand goal in mind."
Kamae stated before sighing and returning to draw the two lines indicating the saiyans as well as the USD. Kamae then gestures to the USD, the people who currently protect the universe from bad folk... or so they say.
"As we both know, the USD are the current protectors of the earth. Meaning that should something happen to it... the USD would have no choice but to respond. The saiyans however are packing serious fire power... Have you seen the attacks on the cities? Those saiyans are murdering people alongside that blue freak! Its just begging to be taken advantage of. I also heard rumors the saiyan queen is arriving soon..."
Kamae would rub his hands together, the black magic immediately being soaked up into the black of his jacket. The demon chuckling happily while he looked Derry over.
"I make weapons, I sell them to the Red ribbon army, supply the terrorists... The terrorists murder one of the saiyans visiting, they might get two if we are lucky. Those mean in the USD outfits are actually red ribbon army men, indicating to the public not only are the saiyans invading, the USD has been corrupted, the earth goes to war with no military might beyond its heroes to protect it. We sell weapons to earth soldiers, black market style, to keep up with the saiyan bruisers. I make them some fancy armor to fight toe to toe with em. I get paid, you get paid and I get to experiment plus get materials."
Kamae would flip a pen then, letting it fly through the air only to snatch it half way to the ground.
"Mean while, we make the king look like an utter fool. His own army infested with terrorists? We spread a smearing campaign, target his weakness like letting attacks like recently to go unchecked. We bring him to his knees POLITICALLY! Then we put you in the seat, you run the show. The face of humanity Derry, imagine it! Our king on the front lines fighting off the saiyan empire! You would EAT the hearts out of every woman, have donations rolling in, and look like a paragon of virtue my friend... But you will be supplying your own pockets with that of the monarchy, and once the funds are all dried up... We ditch this world, I get a world for research, and then we set you up for life on a giga world."
Kamae would state the last bit by placing his palm on the desk of Derry's office, looking confidently at his boss man. He wanted Derry to get something out of this too, but he needed Derry to be his usual sneaky self. He NEEDED those resources again. He couldn't get his lab running again unless they were running even BETTER than before. He just hoped Derry was on board with it, after all he would be the king who technically robbed himself by funding his own war effort and then ditching with all the money... His name would be pretty much looked at with the same love as the plague or infested rat colony.
"But you wiiiiiilllll go down in history as the worst king in history, but you will be filthy rich and have your own world. I'll make sure of it."
Kamae would afford Derry all the comforts in the world, till he destroyed the galaxy. Though that would probably be long after Derry's time he suspected. Yet he would try to make this work as flawlessly as he could.

WC: 517 | TWC: 3,226 Though the demon tried brushing it off, it seems like one of Derrick's comments had rubbed Kamae the wrong way as he seemed to be visibly affected by his accusatory words about making his boss king not good enough for him. He didn't know the full story himself, but there's certainly more to it than what was on the surface, it seems. Still Derry was more than willing to move on to the next subject. Kamae didn't seem to understand the other Derrick's goals and methods, but he respected them enough before marking out the saiyans and the USD and setting up something far more grand. In essence, the saiyans are strong and powerful, and combined with the ferocity of Liari, their power is mighty, far greater than what the USD likely would have at their disposal.
"Would... Would now be a bad time to mention that I hired Liari as a baby sitter once?" he interrupts before adding in, "Before she became a mass murderer, I mean." Once he got that little bit of information out, Kamae lays out his own plan, stating that he intends on making weapons to sell to the RRA and using disguises and trickery to essentially fund both them and the USD to fight back against the saiyans, essentially using their attacks to squeeze out as much money as possible while the king looks like a idiot for allowing terrorists in his midst. The boss couldn't help but rub his chin and think about this proposal, how ambitious it all it, yet quite a bit risky. He knew, though that if he were to play his cards right, he could end up making a whole load of cash without anyone knowing.
The final stage of the plan was to eventually get rid of the current king and place Derrick in his place to rule over the USD, to become king of the planet even if the USD were to fall to the mighty saiyans and play the role of the kind and benevolent leader while extorting those around him unknowingly, at least at first. He smirks at the comment regarding that his name will be tainted as the worst king of Earth's history, but it wasn't like he had much care for his image after his death anyways.
"Bah, to hell with legacy," he explains, "So long as I'm able to make the money and wield the power in the present and near future, then I care not what people think of me when I'm gone. Your plan certainly seems very promising, very promising indeed, but then there is also the threat of the saiyans and their attacks against Earth. The USD is already weak, and Earth's fighters aren't exactly the most well organized. I don't expect the USD to live very long, but I'll be sure to stand above the ashes of that damned organization. Who knows, maybe it would be a good thing for me for the USD to fall. Might give me some extra wiggle room to make some more of my own policies..."
