Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Personality: Enlil does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. He mostly exhibits a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. He thinks of good as better than evil-after all; he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way.
Enlil is mainly concerned with his own well-being and that of the group or organization which aids him. He may behave in a good manner to those that they consider friends and allies, but will only act maliciously against those who have tried to injure them in some way. For the rest, he does not care. He does not wish ill on those he does not know, but he also does not care when they hear of evil befalling them, better for others to suffer the evil than him and his allies. If an ally is in need, he will aid him/her, not out of genuine love but because he may be able to count on that ally a little more in the future.
If someone else is in need, he will weigh the options of the potential rewards and dangers associated with the act. If an enemy is in need, he will ignore them or take advantage of their misfortune. He being with a highly philosophical outlook may hold that law, chaos, good, and evil are all necessary forces in the universe. But all are of equal import, and none should be allowed to take precedence over another, unless an imbalance should be perceived--in which case corrective steps must be taken until the balance is righted once again. Hence, the motives of a highly philosophical man and is perhaps the most difficult for any other being to fathom, for such a true fighter will usually act first to preserve the balance, second if he deems it his business, and third if it is in his own best interests.
For these reasons, being nature's mediators, he must be diplomatic and tactful, but he may also come across as being strange and enigmatic until one gets to know him and his "world view" better. This is because Enlil look far beyond the immediate situation to the overall balance of the cosmos. Enlil tends more or less toward one of the other alignments, dependent upon their perception of the Land of the world and what force should be balanced. Such a "deviation" will be temporary, until Enlil recognizes and modifies his actions in accordance with the new balance. For example, once the strong evil forces in an area have been conquered, and the balance restored, Enlil will stop acting "good." In, addition, this attitude of balance will ordinarily be reflected by Enlil’s’ choice of companions and should thus be demonstrated with reasonable consistency. As all things in the cosmos are equally important and necessary, life is as valuable as death to him, because life is inevitably followed by death. In Enlil’s view, one's time will come when it is supposed to come, and no sooner or later.
History: Enlil Kemptah was born in the Jaguar Island. He was a particularly special child, and so were his parents. His parents were especially fond of him though. They cared for him as if he was the only person in the world aside from themselves. Enlil’s first memories of his childhood were of his parents showering him with affection. He was about the happiest child that he could be. It was just him and his parents. Even the people that he met when his parents brought him with them on their errands around the village were so nice to him.
When Enlil turned four, his parents enrolled him with a group of tutors. These tutors were some of the best in the world. He was granted an incredible education. However, this was not as great as it seems. His tutors were strict, and constantly force-fed an education that most adults don't even want for themselves. He learned things that corrupted his view of man, and of the world in general. He'd wake up in the morning, go to his classes, and come back home just in time for him to go to bed. It was a whole year akin to torture for Enlil.
After the year was over, his tutors decided that he had learned everything that they wanted to teach him. He couldn't believe his ears. the only real excuse they ever gave him for forcing him into this education was that it was his destiny. He never quite understood what they meant, but what four year old ever cares about destiny in the first place? Granted, he's much more intelligent than the average four year old, that doesn't mean that he'll understand notions that need the wisdom and experience of an adult to truly grasp.
Enlil was sent home, and his parents sat him down to have an important discussion. It was at this point, that his parents had a lengthy discussion with him about his lineage. His parents had never told him because they assumed that he was too young to understand, but now he definitely knew what they were talking about. They told him that he was actually from a bloodline that produces incredible human specimens who were priest.
Enlil definitely knew what a Priest was, but he didn't have any interest in being one at that point in his life. He honestly could care less about all that nonsense. Enlil had no reason to risk his life to save others. Why would he do that, when he could continue his cushy life with his parents. But then something happened, that probably was the catalyst for the new direction that his life took.
His father ushered a child into the room. At first Enlil wasn't sure what he was looking at. It was a boy with brow afro like hair, and a big smile on his face. Enlil didn't share a smile, or welcome the boy at all. His father introduced the kid as Enqi, his new brother. Enlil was astounded. He couldn't accept this, no way. He was just expected to share his parents, and his childhood with some boy that he'd never met before?
To say the least, Enlil and his new brother Enqi didn't get along at all. While Enqi was grateful to have a home, Enlil didn't want anything to do with him. He went about his days, trying to attract the attention of his parents, but failing miserably. For some reason his parents seemed to care a lot less about him. He was depressed, and couldn't stand his childhood anymore. His parents were ignoring him, and a boy that he hated more than anything was trying to spend time with him.
Not only was the boy completely dense, but he was also stupid. Keep in mind though, that he was no where near being stupid, but Enlil was just so smart at this point for a five year old, that he couldn't stand being around normal children. To top that off, Enlil didn't understand this boy in the slightest. No matter how much of a verbal lashing he got, he'd just continue to follow Enlil around, like he was happy about it.
Enlil decided at this point that he'd pretend that Enqi wasn't in his life. Maybe he could go back to the way it was with his parents. But his parents wouldn't accept him. They just continued to treat him as if he was second best to Enqi, while Enqi just cherished him as if he was the greatest thing to ever happen to him. It disgusted Enlil, and he just wanted to leave.
Enlil didn't tolerate this for long. In fact, he only waited about a month before he took action. One evening after a very unpleasant dinner with his family, he waited until his brother was in the bath, and ditched his home. He decided that he wanted nothing to do with them. He ran down the road and to the park. He decided he'd live where he has the most positive memories of his mother and father. The weather was terrible though. The wind gust was strong, the ground was mad slippery, and the rain felt like he was being pelted by pebbles.
He hid under a slide temporarily, sheltering himself from the rain and wind. However, soon the lightning started. It was particularly frequent though, and it seemed like the lightning was especially close. Then something drew him out of his shelter to look up in the sky. Just then, he thought he saw what looked like a dragon made of lightning. It was the most incredible thing he'd ever seen. He was mesmerized by the dragon, and it seemed to be looking at him through the clouds.
Just then he heard his brother yelling at him. He looked towards where his brother was, and he was running towards him, with an expression of fear on his face. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!", his brother yelled. Enlil wasn't sure what was happening, but his brother shoved him out of the way, and Enqi suddenly got struck by lightning.
He carried his brother home, and laid him in his bed before going to his own bed. But he couldn't sleep. He went to his old tutors the next morning to enroll himself and his brother as students. He quickly advanced to be the top pupil in his class. He passed every written exam with astonishing accuracy. He won every sparring match that he was placed into. He was even able to learn every technique that the tutors taught him on the first try. Everything seemed so natural.
But before they could graduate, he noticed that his brother got into trouble a lot. Not with the esteemed teachers, but with the other students in his class. One day he was about to help his brother, but then he heard his brother say something that he didn't expect. "Don't speak that way about my brother, ever!"
It was a little sad, because his brother said that while his face was covered in bruises, and he was coughing up blood. But he wouldn't allow this to continue. From then on, every time his brother got into a fight, he intervened. Just a glare from Enlil was usually enough to scare them away.
They passed the final test their tutors prepared for them with flying colors too. Enlil and his brother Enqi were able to teach others what they learned . It was time to begin their life as junior priest. Time seemed to fly by, and before they knew it, Enlil was nine, and his brother was twelve. His parents weren't as distant as they were before, but now that he was a mature young man, he wasn't as dependent on his parents as he once was. He was living happily with his brother, training on a daily basis. Soon they'd be doing something great. Enlil would be the greatest priest the Earth had ever seen.
Techniques:
[ST1] Telekinesis - Enlil has the power to move, manipulate or otherwise interact with objects/matter without physical means. Using natural or mundane forces Enlil can use his telekinetic abilities for offensive purposes (slamming an opponent into the ground) or defensive purposes (picking up a car to shield him from a ki blast). It's all up to the imagination.
[ST1] Ki Sense - Allows the user to sense the energy of everyone on the same Planet as them.
[DT1] Divine Force - Using telekinesis Enlil creates a "repulsive force" , which is generally used to push away everything in the vicinity. He can narrow the repulsion's direction, only pushing away things on certain sides so that nearby allies if any will be unaffected. This repulsive force is most commonly created around the user as a defense, repelling nearby opponents or incoming offensive techniques; it can also be used to disperse offensive techniques that have already struck Enlil, such as a technique that envelope one in flames.
[ST1] Flight - "Let go your earthly tether, enter the void, empty and become wind."
[C1OT1] Divine Blade - Enlil forms his ki into a small, sharp blade while cycling his telekinetic energy through it. This can then be used for highly accurate incisions necessary for brain surgeries and anatomical dissections while targeting one's neurons and neural synapses. Unlike regular scalpels, the Divine Blade can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection. When Enlil used this attack, they slash at their opponent with it.
Roleplay Sample: Enlil walked into the training grounds of the priest’s temple and was impressed at what he saw, he would ask the instructor to change the terrain to fit him more, it would change into an oasis but in reality the wall was metal. Enlil would clear his mind and start stretching in wait for Enqi to arrive, the way they killed that missing fugitive was quite impressive hopefully they could get some great training results in.
Click clack the wall would give off the sweet sound of Enqi’s sandals which housed a metal bottom, he would be alone though book still tucked next to a wooden training blade which was his weapon for today, He had on a white kimono and nothing else his torso was partially exposed showing the boys natural physical strength. “How's it going brother Enlil ready to get started on this?” Enqi would say still on the wall holding the hilt off his blade from behind him Gizmo and Ash then Gust would arrive all carrying wooden swords and clothing which matched Enqi perfectly.
Enlil would look up to notice Enqi finally arriving, the noise his shoes made against the walls made the mood seem mysterious but that was besides the point as they had to get down to business. “Yes I'm ready to get started, today is a good day for training.” He would pull out a single Knife and hold it inversely in his left hand and bald up his right hand into a fist, standing in a fluid but formless fighting position ready to get things started. He would notice the missing fugitive they killed with the other two from last time, he was certain now that Enqi was a puppeteer, he would have to think smart about the actions.
Each of Enqi's puppets would move at high speeds to Enlil aimed to circle him and slice at his torso in unison, but Enqi would be above moving at unseen untraceable speeds to Slice Enlil in the face with his wooden blade then kick him too the ground if he did happen to dodge into the air, but if he didn't and choose and alternate routes Enqi would follow him launching a blade at him with one hand then another aimed ahead of him with a explosive device which would detonate causing Enlil too hopefully run into it.
Enlil would notice them instantly as they entered his zone allowing him to react appropriately and he did as he reached for the first puppet with his right hand at super intense speeds and would maneuver to where the puppet would receive the blows from the other two as Enlil used it for cover all the while keeping moving. He would then in motion throw the knife he held in his left hand to block the blade that Enqi threw at him then body slam the puppet he had grabbed a hold of after the knife left his hand.
The puppet that was tackled would turn to flam allowing Enlil to fall too the ground where he would be kicked in the buttocks by all three puppet's in unison as they jumped away spreading apart and circling him. After all the scuffling there was a wooden blade near Enlil that Enqi had placed it there with some additions too the blade, he was a samurai at heart so if he could he would attempt to teach the youngster the way of the blade but it was not for everyone and that was something Enqi understood however, Enqi would still be unseen unless Enlil possessed an high level reflex he would simply wait circling and watching.
Enqi thought he was unseen as Enlil’s eye's mixed with telekinesis would allow him to see Enqi perfectly, but he didn't see that coming from that puppet that's for sure. He would pick up the sword and pulled out his own so now he would have two. Looking he would burst off at unfathomable speeds aimed for Gizmo, he was hoping to dispatch his head off while he ran past him, he wouldn't stop running just to curve left as he would have to keep moving so he wouldn't be an easy target, it was four against one after all which seemed like fair odds for some reason. He was happy to finally attain the highest speed a human could naturally reach, so happy he decided to end their session early. “Sorry to stop like this but I have something to attend to , another time ?” He would wave goodbye as he left.
