As the sun rose over the barren wastelands of Planet Vegeta, the former King Braccus stood tall with his arms crossed, gazing out into the desolate landscape. His face was stern, and his eyes were narrowed, scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. Beside him stood Natto, the Saiyan captain he had begun training over a week ago, just before the coup. Since then, many things had happened, including the fact that she saiyan captain had sided with the rebels in their work to overthrow Braccus and the current government, who were nothing but puppets to the USD. Natto was honestly surprised that Braccus was not only spared by Queen Zaks, but was also allowed to continue as a part of the Saiyan Army. He knew why she had spared the man, but he still wondered if that had been the right choice or not. Still, he was even more surprised that the man had decided to continue his training. Now, Natto didn't know if that was due to the new Queen's orders, or because he wanted to. Well... He was about to find out.
He was also using his heavy weighted armour to help him increased his power even more than he normally would; he needed to make the most out of all his training sessions.
The two had trained together for over a week now, honing Natto's skills and strengthening his body. Braccus had taught Natto how to focus his ki, how to channel his energy and use it to enhance his physical abilities. Natto had taken to the training well, but he knew that there was still much to learn. Today, they would begin the second stage of his training, which Natto believed would involve learning one of the two techniques passed down to the few chosen ones among the ranks of the Saiyan Army: the Power Ball, or the Galick Gun.
Braccus turned to Natto and gestured for him to step forward. "Are you ready?" he asked, his voice deep and commanding.
Natto nodded, his eyes fixed on Braccus. "Yes, Lord Braccus. I am ready to learn." it was a bit hard not to call the man 'King', but he no longer held such a title, and it was evident that it bothered him to have lost his station and prestige, but he did a decent job in not showing it.
"Good. I will be teaching you a very important technique of our race. The Galick Gun." Braccus said. And while Natto was honoured to learn such a technique, he was slightly surprised Braccus was not starting with the Power Ball. "Not the Power Ball?" he mused, and Braccus shook his head, not providing any further information as to why he was choosing to go with the energy wave first. In truth, the Power Ball required an even more refined control over one's ki; if Natto could master the Galick Gun, then he could potentially master the Power Ball in the future. "The Galick Gun is a powerful technique, one that requires great skill and precision. It is not to be taken lightly. Are you sure you are ready for this?" the former King asked.
"I am sure." Natto replied, his voice steady. "I am ready to learn. Our former training has increased my mastery over my ki. And I have some familiarity with energy waves." he explained with a firm nod.
Braccus nodded, satisfied with Natto's answer. "Very well. Let us begin."
Braccus stepped back and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and focused his energy, channeling it into his palms. His body was fully enveloped by an intense purple aura, which was not only impressive to the eyes; it felt extremely powerful. Suddenly, he thrust his arms forward, unleashing a massive blast of purple energy that tore through the air and exploded against the distant mountains.
Natto watched in awe, his eyes wide with wonder. He had never seen such power before, such raw, unbridled energy. He knew that he had a lot to learn. "Despite his cowardice and willingness to be just a puppet to the USD, Braccus is strong... I have to give him that..." he thought to himself.
Braccus turned to Natto, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips, proud of his own power despite his fall as liege. "Now, it is your turn. Show me what you can do."
Natto stepped forward, his heart pounding in his chest. He took a deep breath and focused his energy, trying to replicate the technique that Braccus had just shown him. He closed his eyes and channeled his energy into his palms, feeling the power build within him. A fickle purple aura partially enveloped his body, but it wasn't as consistent or imposing as Braccus' own.
Suddenly, he thrust his arms forward, unleashing a blast of energy that shot out towards the mountains. But the blast was weak and uncontrolled, fizzling out before it reached its target. Natto sighed sharply, shaking his head in frustration due to his failure.
In response, Braccus shook his head, disappointment etched on his face. "No, no, no." he said. "That won't do. You need to focus your energy, concentrate it into a single point. Let me show you again, boy." and while his tone was far from satisfied, he had to give it to Braccus; he was still putting on a decent effort in helping Natto actually train.
Braccus stepped forward and unleashed another Galick Gun, this one even more powerful than the last "How is that even possible? And to think the Queen managed to best him in combat..." Natto thought, feeling even more impressed by Zaks' feat. The blast tore through the air and exploded against the mountains, sending rocks and debris flying in all directions.
Natto watched in awe, trying to study the technique and understand the nuances of its execution. He knew that he needed to get it right if he was ever going to be a worthy Saiyan warrior. Still, that would prove to be a rather difficult challenge, and would take a lot of the fledging captain to get it right.
They continued to train throughout the day, with Braccus showing Natto the technique again and again. Natto tried to replicate it, but each time his attempts fell short. He was frustrated and tired, his muscles aching from the exertion, having depleted most of his ki in his failed attempts.
As the sun began to set on the horizon, Braccus called a halt to the training. "That's enough for today." he said. "We'll continue tomorrow. You clearly need to reflect on the technique. It is pointless at this rate." hi tone unable to hide a hint of disappointment, which stung like a bee.
Natto nodded, frustrated with the roadblock, and yet grateful for the break. He was exhausted and needed to rest.
As he made his way back to his dwelling, Natto couldn't help but feel discouraged. He had always been a proud Saiyan, confident in his abilities as a warrior, but this training had humbled him. He knew that he had a long way to go before he could master the Galick Gun.
As he lay down on his sleeping mat, Natto thought about his training and what he could do to improve. He realized that he needed to focus more on controlling his energy and channeling it into a single point, rather than simply unleashing it in a burst.
The next morning, Natto rose early and set out to the training grounds. Braccus was already there, waiting for him. He greeted Natto with a nod and a small smile, sensing the determination in his eyes.
"Seems like the night of rest and reflection did you some good. Are you ready to continue?" Braccus asked.
Natto nodded. "I am. I've been thinking about what you said, and I think I understand now." Braccus raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Heh. Well, let's see what you've got."
Natto stepped forward and took a deep breath, focusing his energy and channeling it into his palms. He could feel the power building within him, coalescing into a single point of intense energy. He didn't need further demonstration, he had enough of that, and more than enough time to think about it and relive the previous day of training over and over again in his mind, while failing to fall asleep.
Suddenly, he thrust his arms forward, unleashing a blast of energy that shot out towards the mountains. But this time, the blast was different. It was focused, precise, and much more powerful than before.
Braccus watched in amazement as the blast tore through the air and exploded against the distant mountains. He could sense the power and potential within Natto, and he knew that he had found a worthy successor to the Galick Gun technique.
"Excellent!" Braccus said, clapping Natto on the back. "You've done well, my student. You've truly learned the ways of the Galick Gun. But you cannot yet claim you have mastered this technique." he added the warning at the end.
Natto beamed with pride, feeling a sense of accomplishment that he had never felt before. He knew that there was still much to learn, but he was eager to continue his training and become the strongest warrior he could be. As they walked back to the dwellings, Braccus turned to Natto and said, "You know, even after you finally manage to master the technique, the Galick Gun is just the beginning. There are many other techniques and skills that you will need to master if you want to be the best." he said, with a hint of teasing in his tone.
Natto nodded, his eyes shining with determination. "I'm ready for anything." he said. "I will become strong enough to fight for the saiyan race. I don't care how hard the training is going to be, or how long it will take. I know I will get there." he claimed, with a rather confident tone.
And with that, Natto and Braccus continued their training, repeating the technique until it became something more natural to the Saiyan Captain, until he could finally execute it without any hinderance, and tapping to its full potential. It took a good few days, that was true, but nothing in this life comes fast or easy, especially the things that are truly worth it. After the days passed, Braccus noticed that there was nothing else to improve in the execution of the technique. "Seems like you finally managed to call this technique your own, boy." he said with a firm, acknowledging nod.
Natto was ecstatic to have finally mastered the Galick Gun technique. The power and control he had experienced from the blast was unlike anything he had ever felt before. He was eager to continue his training, but Braccus insisted on giving him some time to rest and recover.
"You've worked hard, Natto." Braccus said. "Take some time to rest and recover your strength. We will continue training in a few days." Natto nodded in response, grateful for the opportunity to rest. He spent the next few days resting, meditating, and reflecting on his progress. He knew that he had much to learn, but he was determined to continue his training and become the strongest Saiyan warrior in the galaxy.
Finally, the day of his next training session arrived, just a couple days after their last session together. Natto made his way to the training grounds, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. He knew that Braccus had something special planned for him, and he was eager to see what it was.
When he arrived at the training grounds, Braccus was waiting for him. "You are finally here. It was about time. Heh." he said. "I hope you're ready for today's training."
Natto nodded, feeling a surge of energy. "That goes without saying. I'm ready for anything." he said.
"Good." Braccus said. "Today, we're going to work on the next level of the Galick Gun technique. It's a more advanced version of the technique that requires even more focus and control."
Natto's eyes widened in anticipation. "An even more advanced version? Show me!" he said.
"Very well..." Braccus said. "But first, I want you to demonstrate the Galick Gun for me. Show me what you've learned."
Natto stepped forward and focused his energy, channeling it into his palms. He took a deep breath and thrust his arms forward, unleashing a powerful blast of energy that shot out towards the distant mountains. The blast exploded against the mountainside, sending a shower of rocks and debris tumbling down.
Braccus nodded in approval. "Very good." he said. "You've truly mastered the basics of the Galick Gun. But now, it's time to take it to the next level."
Braccus stepped forward and began to demonstrate the advanced version of the technique. He focused his energy into a single point and channeled it into his palms. But instead of unleashing the energy in a single blast, he held it there, maintaining the focus and control.
"Watch closely, boy." Braccus said. "This is how you take the Galick Gun to the next level."
Natto watched in amazement as Braccus held the energy in his palms, maintaining the focus and control. He could feel the power and intensity of the energy, and he knew that this was something he had to master.
"Your turn." Braccus said, stepping back and gesturing for Natto to step forward.
Natto stepped forward and focused his energy, channeling it into his palms. He took a deep breath and held his palms out in front of him, trying to maintain the focus and control that Braccus had demonstrated. But after a few seconds, the energy began to dissipate, and the blast fizzled out before it could even form. Braccus shook his head. "Shame. Seems like you are not quite ready to take it even further beyond." he said. "You've done well enough for a mid-class warrior. This shall be a reminder that despite your accomplishes, you still have a steep road ahead of you." the former King said as he turned around, leaving the training grounds.
Natto nodded, feeling a sense of frustration and disappointment. He had hoped to master the advanced version of the technique, but it seemed that he still had a long way
