Programmable Training Dummy +25% PL Gains.
Wealthy +10% zeni gains
The city of the east, its funnily enough named East city. Not quite as rich as west city but it certainly does make it look second rate to anything up here on this giant hotel building. The samurai had come across some wealth recently and decided to spend it on a relaxing vacation. While Taiyo wasn't one to do training, as he had been against the idea... he was interested in learning new art forms he could practice. So the sword monk had bought a gi for training and a robot with a long list of martial art styles to its name.
Taiyo sat upon the edge of his bed with his track pants on, joint in his mouth while he twisted this knob and that to construct the dummy. It certainly made him feel like a dummy trying to assemble it. Apparently it was suppose to be preassembled but Taiyo had gotten a really good deal on an unbuilt one. Wiping sweat from his brow, Taiyo was beginning to wonder if it was worth it. After half way building it, Taiyo lay back on the bed panting for breath. He rarely worked this hard on anything, he was out of shape in that regard.
Slowly regaining his breath, the sword monk stared at the ceiling while he considered the possible future. But he knew he couldn't get a proper thought going without the right adjustment. Slowly reaching down, the sword monk grinned as he found what he was searching for on the floor. The remote soon coming into view in his hands and with a quick press of the button, the stereo turned on. The machine coming to life with a static noise before music began to begin playing. Some lame shit that Taiyo wasn't interested in. After a moment, the Sword monk found a channel just right.
The music was a sort of beat that didn't have any actual lyrics to it but sounded good. Taiyo slowly rose up to his feet as he began to pace about the room, grooving to the beat while he enjoyed his joint. Swaying this way and that, his martial arts mixed in with the dance as he enjoyed himself. Finally settling down while bouncing on his tip toes, Taiyo chuckled to himself as he felt a little better. All work and no play makes Taiyo a dull boy after all.
Deciding he wanted this done and over, he sat back down while the music played. He constructed the robot late into the night, where he left it while he slept. Upon awakening and showering, the sword monk exited the bathroom in his new gi only to be surprised that the robot was standing up and on. A young maid apparently had tried to clean the room only to turn the machine on who was now trying to fight the poor miss. Taiyo quickly intervened thankfully and got the proper owner tag after some tinkering. The woman who was scared to death quickly left, no doubt to file a complaint about Taiyo's robot.
As he watched her leave, the human smiled before turning back to the training bot.
"Names Taiyo Kodomo... Sup?"
Taiyo asked, a man of few words upon meeting someone, but the bot didn't seem to mind. It simply hummed its machinery for a moment only to look to Taiyo.
"Training Mode selection. please restate what mode you would like."
Taiyo's eyes went down to the tiny panel on the front, the giant square chassis of the robot like a computer front. Though its arms were only steel bars, it was clear they were heavily built and capable of doing some serious damage if they wanted. Taiyo slowly scrolled through the menu before coming to a particularly interesting mode. Blade demonstration mode, which apparently showed off all the different modes the robot was capable of. Pressing the button, Taiyo instantly regretted his decision as the arms of the dummy suddenly extended into twin blades built into its arms. With an affirming "Twin blade mode", the bot then twirled its blade about, slicing the furniture and ceiling to hell and back.
Taiyo simply placed a hand to his face as he looked at the floor while the bot flourished all its weapons. At this point it had already carved a huge chunk of the bed up and the ceiling and floor were quickly being shredded. Taiyo eventually got it off but not before devastating the room. The sword monk could only run a hand through his hair while he considered the best course of action.
