It has been a long time since Ayu had a chance to take a stroll on her own. Ever since she moved to the Lookout there was simply no time - mostly because she needed to train to keep her energy in check. She wouldn't want to catch anyone in the outbreak of her powers like that. She learned hard that night in the middle of the Wasteland - how untrained and uncontrollable could the Ki be if she wasn't able to deal with it in the right way. It was a tragedy she wasn't going to repeat, ever... Eh, she rubbed her temple while walking among the bamboo stalks. The day was pleasant and warm enough to take a nice walk, yet her mind was drifting in a grim direction. True be told, Ayu had many things to worry about and even more to do but like every other person, she needed a break. So, with a mutual agreement with Mr. Popo, she was allowed a little downtime while the djinn was doing some assignments from the Guardian elsewhere. She was granted a two-hour break and she chose to spend it among nature.

The bamboo forest looked the same as always. A place like this was full of light and shadows dancing between the stalks and leaves, with soft grass enveloping the area. This spot was different each time she saw yet at the same time remained unchanged. Why? Because the bamboo was sprouting so far that the thin stalk in two weeks could change into an arm-thick plant. It was quite a refreshing sight. Months or rather weeks ago Ayu enjoyed visiting the forest, only to walk aimlessly, admiring the harmony of this place. Just like now - the air was fresh, she had a moment to spear and perhaps for the first time in a long time her mind could fully relax.

So now, she was simply enjoying the weather and the calmness, letting her thoughts fly above the clouds.
