Athren had gifted Opherla something she never realized she would come to love so much for her daily routine. The super weighted clothes. What Opherla thought was a burden was actually a great boon to her training! Opherla would usually wake up after just doing daily things with the clothing a little stronger! So, what better way to really get used to the weights than to make it her own style and train a bit?
Opherla had the Super Weighted Clothes redesigned into a stylish, semi long red jacket that fit Opherla perfectly, as she complemented the jacket with a black bra and black with white outline combat pants, complete with white Saiyan-style combat boots, as Opherla was now ready to get started with more intensive training thanks to her new weighted clothing!
And so began her first week of getting used to her weighted clothing training.
-Day 1-
The first day of the week for training was a bit of a struggle for Opherla, after all, she was just now getting used to moving around in the heavy clothes. Her movements were sluggish and slow, and her attacks were definitely not as strong as they used to be, however Opherla kept on going with her training, not letting this fact deter her one bit! She wasn't going to give up! Not after Serena's words! Not after Callion's words! Not after Athren's gift to her! Opherla kept going, practicing her combos and strings, before unleashing a series of ki blasts to help her ki control.
Opherla trained hard on Day 1 to get used to the Super Heavy Weights, and by the end of Day 1, she had managed to get a little bit faster in the clothes, as she nodded her head in satisfaction before heading home.
-Day 2-
On the second day of training, Opherla stuck to her usual routine, as she was determined to get used to these Super Weighted Clothes before she attempted to do anything else. As she began training on this day, she saw an immediate improvement in her speed and striking abilities, even her ki control, as she was more fluidly attacking once again in the Super Weighted Clothes. She was able to string her basic combos together, but not her more complex combos just yet. But as the day rolled to a close, Opherla was getting closer and closer to being her usual self from the training.
-Day 3-
Opherla came into the third day full of confidence that this was the day for her breakthrough, as she had been getting more and more used to the weight of the clothes as she began her routine yet again. While the training started about the same as yesterday to start…
It wasn't long before Opherla had her groove once more, stringing together all of her combination attacks and complex attacks, as she was back to her usual form and speed, smiling as she would shoot ki blasts across the waterfall yet again with a smile.
"Okay. I'm back to form. Time to learn something new!" Opherla would smile as tomorrow, she had plans to learn a new technique.
-Day 4-
Opherla had known ever since her mother conversed with her in the dream that she had Beastfolk capabilities. As such, she needed to utilize those Beastfolk capabilities, her senses. While she may not be able to sense ki, she could use the skill to distinguish and find opponents without the need for ki, and so, Opherla would get started in harnessing her inner wolf.
She did this by meditating in the woods, a wolf's natural habitat, allowing her senses of smell and hearing to start taking over, as her training of her new skill began. Opherla would focus long and hard on her senses, as she began to feel them out for their true power. She began to smell the various aspects of nature around her… her ears twitched at every little sound… she was focusing on each and every new sensation, as her range was expanding farther and farther as she continued harnessing her new ability. By the time she stopped, she stood up, and while her sight improved slightly… her hearing and sense of smell had heightened incredibly… she could smell the various scents of different things, she could smell everything and identify exactly what it was in the woods!
"Okay. Tomorrow begins the real test of my skill…" Opherla said with a firm nod. Her training was about to come to a final close on not just training in her weighted clothes, but training her new skill.
-Day 5: Testing Day-
Opherla wouldn't head to her usual training spot today. Nope! She would hit the streets of West City! It was time to get her nose and her ears a workin'! So, she prowled the streets of West City to test just how much her senses had improved.
In an almost 4 mile radius, Opherla could smell anything and everything, from the different humans walking the streets, to the different kinds of people walking about the city, the scent of Saiyans in the distance training, it was all easily identifiable to Opherla, as she smiled.
But what her senses even allowed was the ability to sense danger, as Opherla stopped, her ears on point as she felt someone… coming from behind!
She would jump over her assailant, a petty thug holding a knife as she landed behind him, as the thug raised his hands after seeing the woman evade his attempted attack, as Opherla smiled, and flicked him, knocking him on his rear and sending him running away in fear.
"Yeah. This'll work just fine." Opherla smiled a wide smile. "Time to finish off my week of training the right way." Opherla added, as she would head back to her usual training area and keep to her routine for the rest of the day.
-Day 6 & 7-
As the week of getting acclimated came to a close, Opherla was filled with confidence, and, strangely enough, power. She had to think back to where she had been before meeting everyone she had. Serena was the jumpstarter, the first major wake up call that she wasn't near strong enough to protect the Earth. She hoped that at one point… she could easily rectify that.
Then there was Acsull. An awkward Namekian for sure, but, nonetheless he was a fun guy to spar with. Opherla couldn't help but still want to help that Namekian get himself properly used to the area known at Earth.
Callion… Callion was the major wake up call. His kind words and support were only backed up with blunt yet truthful words of reality. Opherla made sure to remember his words, after all, she wasn't trying as hard as she was now without his words telling her to get stronger… she had to admit though, the broken ribs took some time to get over…
And then Athren… Athren. What a dreamy guy. Probably the most influential of the four. After hearing his story and getting the gift of the Super Weighted Clothed from him, Opherla was more motivated to get stronger than ever because of him. She was going to make him proud… not just him, no, all of the friends she made, she would make proud.
Opherla kept stringing her combinations together, smiling widely as she kept punching the air and some of the surrounding objects, the weight of her Super Weighted Clothes now non-existent thanks to her acclimation training, as she smiled, launching an array of ki blasts as she did a few acrobatic maneuvers as well, as she finished off with a spinning kick combo as she landed on her feet, smiling with a sigh of relief and exhilaration as she looked up at the sky, a bright smile on her face.
"With all my friends… and all this new power I'm gaining… I promise to do my very best to protect this planet." Opherla smiled as she thought of all the cities this planet had on it. "For the cities that still stand… and those I was too late to save… one day… I will become so strong that I will be Earth's protector. I will be Earth's Guardian… but for now… I have to work my way up to that."
Opherla then swore she saw her mother and father, smiling down upon her as she smiled even wider.
"Mom… Dad… you must have known this was what fate had destined for me… my home planet may be gone… but I know you two are living on a new planet, safe and sound… I may not know how to access my God Ki like you say I have, mom… but one day I hope I'll find out. Until then, I'll do my very best to protect the Earth. I'll do my best to protect my friends, and most of all…" Opherla said as she would pound her fists together in determination.
"I'll do my best. My very best, to become the strongest warrior I can be. For the honor of my family… FOR THE PRIDE OF THE SAIYANS!!!!"
