Callion had taken his time to traverse the open fields, minding his own business. The Saiyan warrior took in that deep fresh breath of being alive once more across the living world. After having been devoured by Liari, he could sense that he needed to get stronger, a lot stronger than ever before. “Heheh, it sure feels nice coming back to life. But I can’t sit around and do nothing. I need to push harder, faster and stronger than ever before. Let’s see if I can do some personal training of my own today…” Callion said to himself with a determined expression. For now, on his own he decided to go for a good old fashion warm up session, stretching his limbs and loosening up his muscles before he began his intense training regimen. He was determined to become the strongest warrior in the world, and he wouldn't let anything stop him from reaching that goal. With a fierce determination, Callion started his training, pushing himself to his limits and beyond. He focused on improving his strength, speed, and agility, and he worked tirelessly until the sun began to set and he was exhausted. But even then, he refused to stop. He was determined to become the strongest warrior in the world, and he wouldn't let anything stand in his way.
Meanwhile in the Otherworld, Callion's teacher - none other than King Kai himself, was watching Callion train in the living world, smiling to himself as he turned to look over to the spirit cricket, Gregory. "So, Gregory. Callion is getting a hell of a lot stronger, huh? Not bad for my student, heheheheh!" King Kai said with a cheeky grin on his face. Gregory nodded in agreement, "Indeed, Your Majesty. Callion has been working tirelessly and his progress is truly remarkable. It's a testament to his determination and discipline. I have no doubt that he will reach his goal and become one of the strongest warriors in the world." King Kai chuckled, "I couldn't have said it better myself, Gregory. Callion has the potential to be truly great, and I'm proud to be his teacher. But he still has a long way to go, and I'll make sure that he continues to push himself and reach his full potential." The two watched as Callion continued his training, and King Kai couldn't help but smile at the sight of his student's determination. He knew that Callion had the potential to be a great warrior, and he was eager to see how far he could go.
"That reminds me sir." Gregory decided to jump into the questioning fray. "We need to begin his next step of his training here on your very planet. How's about you decide to get into contact with Callion, see if he wants to pick up where he left off?" The Spirit Cricket suggested, with King Kai smiled warmly. "Aaah, Gregory! Thats a great idea! Let me see if I can contact Callion telepathically..." King Kai said, his antenna began to slightly jitter and move about, slowly focusing in ready to contact Callion in his mind. "Callion? Hello? Are you there my boy? It's me, King Kai." King Kai spoke to Callion's mind telepathically. Callion's training was suddenly interrupted as he heard King Kai's voice in his mind. He was surprised but also happy to hear from his mentor. "King Kai! Is that you?" Callion replied, his excitement clear in his thoughts.
King Kai chuckled, "Yes, it's me, Callion. How are you doing, my boy?"
"I'm doing well, sir. Just training and trying to get stronger," Callion replied, "What can I do for you?"
"I have some news for you, Callion. It's time for the next step in your training. I want you to come to my planet and train with me," King Kai said, his excitement clear in his thoughts.
Callion's eyes lit up, "Really, sir? That would be amazing! I'll be there as soon as I can." "Good. I'll see you soon, Callion. And remember, this training will be even more intense than anything you've done before. But if you work hard and push yourself, I have no doubt that you'll come out even stronger than before," King Kai said, his tone serious but supportive.
Callion nodded, "I won't let you down, sir. I'll be there and I'll give it my all."
With that, King Kai broke the telepathic connection, and Callion couldn't help but smile at the thought of training with his mentor once again. He was eager to see what the next step in his journey would bring, and he was determined to make the most of it. With that, King Kai decided to get into contact with the Ogre Demon, using telepathic communication once again. "Hey there, it's King Kai. My student Callion is in need to be teleported from the Mortal World to my planet here in other world, think you can teleport him from there to here?" The Ogre Demon received King Kai's telepathic message and responded, "Of course, King Kai. I'd be happy to teleport Callion to your planet. Just give me a moment to get into position."
King Kai nodded, "Thank you, Ogre Demon. I appreciate your help."
The Ogre Demon teleported himself to the Mortal World and quickly located Callion. With a flick of his wrist, Callion was teleported to King Kai's planet in the Otherworld.
Callion looked around in amazement, taking in the sights and sounds of his new surroundings. He felt a surge of excitement and nerves, knowing that this was the next step in his training journey.
King Kai greeted Callion with a warm smile, "Welcome to my planet, Callion. I'm glad you're here. Are you ready to start your training?"
Callion nodded, "Yes, sir. I'm ready."
And with that, King Kai and Callion began the next phase of Callion's training, pushing him to new limits and helping him to become the strongest warrior in the world. Otherworld; admittedly, Callion still had to get used to the afterlife, but with Kingkai, Gregory and Bubbles by his side, he was going to take it nice and easy for him to handle with.
“Good to see you here on my humble planet, my boy. Let’s get you started with a series of physical training and meditation. We know that you managed to do well that you were able to past the first test, so we’ll get you warmed up and prepared for the second stage of the training course.” King Kai explained to Callion. For their knowledge, they were able pass the first stage of their training rather easily, but now came the real challenge… With that, King Kai offered Callion a simple, two-handed hammer that weighed extremely heavy, it even caused Callion to grunt, getting into a stance with his muscles pulsating in having to hold the hammer. “W-What!? Why is this hammer so heavy!?” Callion asked, slowly pulling the hammer up.
King Kai introduced Callion to Gregory, a mischievous spirit cricket who lived on his planet. Gregory was fast and nimble, and it was said that anyone who could hit him with a hammer was destined to become a powerful warrior. King Kai gave Callion a hammer and told him that his task was to hit Gregory with it. “Your task is simple goku, all you have to do is to hit Gregory on the head with that hammer.” Callion looked at the hammer and then back to the spirit cricket who had a cheeky grin. “Don’t think I’ll be going easy on you Callion~ I’ll have you know; I am extremely fast!”
Callion was sceptical at first. Gregory was small and quick, and he didn't see how hitting a tiny spirit cricket with a hammer was going to help him master the Spirit Bomb. But King Kai was insistent, and Callion decided to give it a try.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, as Callion chased Gregory around the planet, trying to land a blow with his hammer. He swung and swung, but Gregory was always just out of reach, darting this way and that with incredible speed and agility. Callion grew frustrated and discouraged. He was used to success, to being the best at everything he did, but this task seemed impossible. Every time he managed to catch up and swing the hammer, he missed. There were times he was relatively close, and other moments he was undeniably slow.
One day, as Callion sat on a rock, panting and sweating after yet another fruitless chase, King Kai approached him. "You're not trying hard enough," he said. "You're not focusing your energy, you're not using your instincts. You're not a child, you're a warrior."
Callion was hurt by King Kai's words, but he was also ashamed. He realized that he had been going about the task all wrong. He had been trying to brute-force his way through it, using his strength and speed, but that wasn't the way to do it. He needed to focus his energy, to tap into his instincts, to become one with the hammer and the cricket.
Callion closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He let his mind go blank and focused on the sensation of the hammer in his hand, on the rhythm of his breathing, on the energy that flowed through him. He felt a surge of power as he opened his eyes and saw Gregory darting across the sky.
In that moment, everything seemed to slow down. Callion moved without thinking, his arm sweeping up and around, the hammer flashing through the air. And then, with a satisfying crunch, the hammer connected with Gregory, sending the tiny spirit cricket tumbling to the ground. King Kai approached, beaming with pride. "Well done, my boy! You did it! You've become a true warrior!" Callion smiled, feeling a sense of accomplishment like he had never experienced before. He had overcome a challenge that seemed impossible, and he had done it by tapping into his inner strength and focusing his energy.
“That was unbelievably hard and terrible…” Callion said with a gasp for air, slowly putting the hammer down with Gregory rubbing his head. “Goodness, I didn’t think you’d be able to do it… Geeez, my head.” The spirit cricket said, rubbing his head slightly in pain, which soon enough, King Kai, Callion, Gregory and Bubbles all laughed in unison.
King Kai then clapped his hands and said, "Well done Callion, you've finally mastered the second step of using the Spirit Bomb. You've learned how to focus your energy and use your instincts to their fullest potential.” His master said, Callion looking up to King Kai with a grin. “Thanks master, think you can call that Ogre Demon to send me back to the living world again?” Callion asked respectfully, knowing that he had to return to the living world to continue his journey as a warrior. King Kai nodded, and summoned the Ogre Demon with telepathic communication. "Ogre Demon, it's King Kai. Can you please teleport Callion back to the living world?" A few moments later, the Ogre Demon appeared and nodded. "It's done, King Kai. Callion has been teleported back to the living world." King Kai smiled at Callion. "You've done well, my boy. Continue your journey and keep honing your skills. I'll be watching your progress with pride." With that, Callion said goodbye to King Kai and Gregory, and headed back to the living world, ready to take on any challenge that came his way.
Callion smiled to himself, taking a moment to take a slow, deep breath in and relaxed for a moment. Happiness filled his heart from having managed to perform admirably in his second stage of his training, first it was collecting the spiritual energy of travelling to the Underworld, then it was to learn about speed, precision and control in having to hit Gregory on the head with a hammer. Who knows what else the Saiyan was going to learn next time…
For now, it was back to the grind once more in training.
