Freedom, true freedom, is as addictive as any vice you would care to mention. When one lives with a dozen minds in your head, when you feel your will be tugged in a dozen directions, when you feel all of that fall silent... There was nothing in the universe quite like it. Liari stood amongst the sand of the Diablo Desert, her sheer presence causing the loose earth particles to rotate around her in a progressively shrinking double-helix. A low titter reverberated in the majin's throat as she looked towards the direction of the city knowing that this next victory... will be hers alone.
"...I suppose I'll destroy West City next." Liari mused to herself. "After all, I can't allow those humans to forget me so soon. Not yet." She then looked to the sky, her thoughts turning towards Matsuki's children. She had claimed she sent the little tykes off into space somewhere as if the planet were a sinking ship. From the knowledge she drew from the arcosian brothers, there were only a handful of worlds near Earth Zaks could reasonably send them. That meant there were only a few worlds to glass until she ripped Athren's heart out. From her brief interaction with the man, he didn't seem like the especially "fatherly" type, more like a typical sayain than the jokers she had eaten. Still, who knows. Maybe the big, strong, golden-haired monkey will shed a tear knowing Liari had consumed his children. Maybe he would scream as she relayed their last words to him in their voices.
"...It'll be hilarious..." Liari chuckled through her teeth. "...and once I'm done with him, I'll destroy the REST of his race..." Vegeta, that world of monkeys, was ruled by a king said to be the mightiest among them. Among a class of warriors, only the strongest bloodlines were considered nobility and the mightiest of those, their king... Liari found herself musing if she could get a decent fight from them, maybe even take a meaningful hit or two.
...She hoped so. Earth was just so... fragile. To prove her point, Liari lightly stomped the ground below her, the rock splitting into a million pieces, the crags mirroring the shape of a spider's web! If she wanted to, Liari could destroy this world... and it was a wonder WHY she hadn't yet. Maybe it was because Athren was still lurking around here with his energy masked, ready to launch an attack on her the moment she made her move. Maybe it was because she held out hope that, one day, someone of note would challenge her. There WAS talent on this planet, after all! ...It was just a matter of those worms applying themselves. Or, perhaps, it was because, somewhere deep in that ever-blackening heart of hers, she still CARED on some level for these people, these fighters she once called "friends."
...Ha. Yeah, right.
"...Now... Lets see who comes running..." Liari smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. Suddenly, the majin's energy ERUPTED in a towering flash of ki, her aura BLAZING so bright and hot, the sand around her FLASH-FRIED to glass! The air danced manically around her blazing energy signature, the Earth seeming to quake for miles!
"HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Liari roared, her aura FLARING ever higher! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
