Acsull found himself quite intrigued with some of the Earthling plantlife as he strolled through the forest. Out of all of them, these stick-like lifeforms, this... "Bamboo" as the humans referred to it, reminded him of most of the tall, thin tree-like shrubs they grew on Namek. With long, slender bodies, the bamboo climbed its way up toward the sky, reaching nearly twice the Namekian's height before tapering off into a thin head of viny protrusions and small leaves. He wondered if the Earthlings had to cater to these as much as his people had to with their trees, painstakingly attending to them throughout the day much the same as these Earthling farmers attend to their crops. If they did, they made quiet work of it, nothing but the chirping of the birds in the sky and the rustle of small reptiles within the grass touching his ears.
As Acsull walked, he noticed "THE" sun begin its slow descent from its peak in the sky, a slight chill rolling down his spine. Even after all this time here, he still hadn't gotten used to the six hours of darkness the planet had been subject to, nor the eerie creatures that crawled out of their holes as the light began to dim. Perhaps it was a childish thought but Acsull couldn't help but wonder if the singular star longed for a companion out there in its orbit, perhaps a pair of them like his world possessed.
"Were it not for the eccentricities of this planet..." Acsull mused, cupping his chin in his hand. "...I may have grown fond of it..." Still, quiet, calm moments such as these helped drain the young Namekian of his anxiety. He could look past the strange coloration in the plantlife and the sky and instead, look inward to enjoy a familiar moment of peace. If he closed his eyes, he could almost imagine himself back home, standing before his village where the shrub-trees grew tall and the elders teaching the younglings how to farm them in the fields. It would be easy to lose himself in that moment... but regrettably, he did not have the time for distractions. A sickening cancer latched itself to the planet, its twisted power flaring across it like a radioactive glow. Acsull was determined to grow strong enough to confront this beast, kill it if he could, spare this world a truly dark fate.
...And so, Acsull crossed his legs beneath himself and began to hover, his eyes sliding shut as his hands rested in his lap. He imagined the creature, a majin who towered almost twice his height over him, its sanguine eyes glaring down at him like those of a starving animal! With a cry of righteous defiance, Acsull's avatar would lunge for the imagined monster... and his training would begin!
