Once they were safely in the elevator, Zerori would give Rhapsody an amused side-eye as she excitedly apologized and quickly showcased how intrigued she was with the machine. She tucked away ‘alleviator’ for a rainy day to tease the young woman about. When the questions came one after the other Zerori’s Rhapsody’s excitement became contagious - her mind racing with the answer to the questions as they burned on her tongue. On the outside, however, she would merely smile a little wider and was ready to jump right into a comfortable session of casual lecture when the EXACT thing she’d warned Rhapsody not to do had happened. She might have lasted a second at most but the moment she had tried to catch herself, Zerori’s smile had fallen into a frown of concern, “Goddamn it-” She hissed, taking a step forward in an attempt to catch her before she fell to the floor. Alas, the wings that Zerori had supposedly anticipated actually managed to throw her back into one of the walls of the elevator.
With a grunt, the surprisingly powerful wing pushing her cheek into the metal and impressively holding it there, Zerori would speak between a squished cheek, “I… told you… to stay calm-!” Zerori didn’t really understand any of the reactionary instincts of Rhapsody’s species so the most natural assumption was that the winged woman just wasn’t ready for the elevator vertigo. With a grunt, Zerori managed to finagle from out of the wing and took to a knee to look her over. Not… unconscious but she doubted Rhapsody was going to be moving anytime soon. When the elevator gave a beep, notifying the two that they’d reached their destination, Zerori would just give a long sigh before smirking, “Well, I guess you’re taking the stairs,” She teased before adjusting herself and carefully scooping the woman up by the back of her knees and shoulders. “Alright, let’s go set you down somewhere.”
With almost uncharacteristic tenderness, Zerori eased out of the elevator without miraculously knocking Rhapsody into anything and casually walked to her apartment. Conversationally, Zerori spoke, “You still awake there? I had a feeling something like this was going to happen, y’know, since it was your first time in an elevator but I didn’t expect it to hit you so hard,” She chuckled, coming up to her door and materializing her key to it in a flash. She had another under the door but she left that for Korn to use.
Once open, she’d carefully pull Rhapsody in before closing the door with her boot. “Korn! You here?!” She’d call out, having left the care of her cat to the bumbling warrior. When she only received a deep but excited meow in return, Zerori would smile, “Oh, you’re gonna love Twilight,” She mumbled to the woman in her arms before stepping closer and placing Rhapsody on the couch that sat in the middle of the living room - a large TV adjacent to the couch. Behind the TV was a window, though it would have been hard to notice with his late into the night it was.
Zerori looked Rhapsody over one more time before she cocked an eyebrow upwards, “Need water?” Before a large dark tabby cat would hop onto the top of the couch and look Rhapsody up and down curiously - a cautious and low growl emanating from him. Zerori gave a ‘tst!’, “You leave her alone, you mean bastard!”
