The Northern Continent.
Cold, chilly, and once more cold, it was all of those things. What a massive difference compared to the tropical areas of the world, even barren ground was far more enjoyable than this.
Truthfully he was not also dressed as heavily as one would desire, but he had to make do until he could have afforded something better. Not that he really wanted some massive fur coat but he figured he could probably find something to also aid him in combat should he chance to discover anyone experienced enough to provide him with counsel. He knew the basics at best for the moment and there was massive room for improvement.
One eye bolted and watched over the 'view' this place had to offer, he had already reached the city so by any accounts, there was not much if not the distant mountains.
How long had it been even since he had set forth from the desert? Possibly days, he did not exactly 'fly' all the time. He found flying detrimental to one's physical condition, there was no need for him to float off anywhere unless there was an emergency or something else called for it. Thus he just walked, at times it felt endless but it would offer a great chance; one could easily meet people this way.
How many people knew how to fly? He had no idea but surely some could. How many people knew how to walk, crawl or whatever? Everyone. It was absolutely logic that he could come in contact with anyone without too much trouble.
It was also strange to think of how little the man knew about this place. How much did he even know about any city? To him they were all the same, only the landscape usually changed. But he did not possess that kind of culture that allowed him to make apart one from another, its people or their traditions or even food.
But the cold would not be his only issue. He was a few moments short from witnessing a crime! While he paced himself quietly upon the sidewalk, suddenly a grinding noise hit his ears; something was coming.
Right around the corner a vehicle drifted across the turn, producing an annoying noise by the very stride of the wheels upon the road and soon it ran upon the sidewalk and straight into a trendy clothes shop's glass window! Fire, smoke and more began to spread, birds and pets alike ran off and from the car, shady and masked individuals began their heinous act: a robbery, of course. To all within, workers and buyers.
Armed only with guns and bags to steal their cash and goods.
From afar Nasu watched, what should he do? He hesitated a little, somewhat unsure and surprised to this moment but it was not long until he began to make a run for it himself and his hand began to reach for his sword.

Destiny decided to fly across the skies of the northern continent instead of walk. So far on her adventure she had gotten into a few fights that resulted in a few casualties. Most of the fights she didn't start or so she would say. She flew lower towards the ground and landed.
It was a chilly day today. Destiny took off her headband and pulled her hair into a messy ponytail and put her bunny ear headband back on her head. She thought about ditching the bunny ears, but since that was her trademark symbol she decided to stick with them for now.
Destiny walked down the street and soon heard one of the alarms go off at a nearby store and rolled her eyes. "Again why can't there ever be a day without chaos?" She asked to nobody in particular as she jumped into the air and flew over towards where there was a gang of robbers committing thief and whatever else floated their boat.
BAM!
Destiny went flying into a nearby car and landed hard on it after being hit by one of the getaway cars. "That actually stung a little," she mused as she got up without having a single cut on her body as she dusted herself off. "Now what?" She asked as she looked over at a guy start to run with his swords towards the chaos. "Might as well try to help," she said as she dodged out of the way of gunfire.

An attack?
What was this, all of a sudden? He did not even understand the reason but for one Nasu was not one that liked surprises, at all. This one especially made him feel a slight sense of edge in his mind, but he was not necessarily scared. His sense had just been thrown off by both the noise and the smell, whatever was burning in the boutique really made it hard to just breathe without feeling a wave of extreme heat taking over, was it perfume? He could not tell.
He could easily tell that no one amongst them was any good, they were your average citizen. Not that he judged them by their power but frankly he wondered if his aid was not even too overkill, but since he could not spot anyone actually entitled to help, he could not just stand there and wait for anyone to arrive. He was going to settle things himself, now. Thus the Saiyan caught up and eventually jumped in on the action, once he did, his very first strike connected with one of the men's guns, smacking it off his hand.
"W-what?!"
The stranger exclaimed, backing away almost immediately. There was a moment where they stared at Nasu briefly, they did seem to recognize him as a Saiyan almost immediately; it was hard not to figure that one out on a first look, but furthermore the man's eyes were sculptured in stone, and eyed them down fearlessly. He did not need to feel fear. He had already felt fear enough in his childhood to really hesitate at all with this kind of people.
"I am not giving you guys a single second. Stand down now, or you are going down the hard way."
Nasu was not of course some kind of diplomatic figure or negotiator, if he wanted them to go down, they would better obey and that was it. He was not sure if there were better ways to handle this, honestly it was not every day he would just butt in any robbery. Or to be fair, maybe he did not even recall ever having witnessed one this close. Surely any and all help he ever offered to strangers were kind but very minor ones, compared to this. This was more akin to something law enforcers would have to deal with, not him.
Until he continued. He did not aim at any vitals with his sword, and instead tried to mostly adapt a hybrid style, using either his fist or the hilt of his sword to knock them away, at best he would only use the tip of his sword to try and immobilize them shortly with minor injuries.
All the while this continued, a couple more emerged from the car, standing far enough not to be noticed at least from Nasu, while they were relatively close to Destiny, on her right, hiding behind the car. One of them began to take aim, trying to shoot the Saiyan behind his back.

Destiny dusted herself off as she landed to her feet. Seemed like things weren't going to be easy today. She was hoping for a not so messy day, but that wasn't going to be today. "Seems like these ass-hats don't know when to quit," she said as she flew in the air out of the way when one of the as some more dust and debris went flying.
"At least for once I'm not the one they're after," Destiny mused as she landed by Nasu. "Need some help whipping ass?" She asked. "Because apparently the fight's....ah...DUCK!"
Too late Destiny dodged out of the way when Nasu got shot. "Well hell," she said as she ran over towards Nasu. "Doesn't look too badly. By the way name's Destiny. You look like you could use a hand."
BOOM!
"Shiii..." Destiny grabbed a car that was flipped over and pulled it in front of them to use as a shield. "We're sitting ducks out here."
There were robbers still causing trouble in the streets and Destiny fired the pistol at one of them and the shot hit one of them in the leg and she smirked as she fired off a few rounds.
One of the robbers fired a shot at Destiny which hit her in the right shoulder and she groaned as she pulled out the bullet from her shoulder. "That's it you're going down," she said as she flew over towards the robber and punched him in the face.

A crime.
What was a crime to a person, exactly? He found it a little difficult to answer, because there was no easy way out of this question. One could just say anyone who did bad things was a criminal, but what was a crime if not a consequence of society and its government and laws? By that standard, only a select few of those evil people could even be considered as criminals, only those that openly broke the law should be found guilty.
But those were only the rules and foundations for a good society. This could not be all to it for the very simple matter that the living heart of society was its people and they were not made out of rules and regulations, for each one of them had a story, feelings, problems and their own battles to fight on every scale. In a way, what was a criminal if not somebody that broke the law? That was all to it.
The point was that even good people could be criminals, most likely. It was strange to think about it like that but the greater good was probably not something everyone could grow to respect and admire and that was because life was not as easy and pretty as it looked. He knew, from the very flames of his childhood and the scenes he bore witness to, that life was unfair and filled with despair.
Those good few that committed crimes were taken and processed to justice without a single thought, only because they did something perhaps to help someone else. While those few that were simply evil and rotten to the core, and to that thought, an organization came to mind; shadows in the back of his mind that stood high and in uniform, their faces were not visible but they all showed off a ribbon of blood; those few could usually get away with it.
That was why Nasu did not take them out all at once, because deep down in his heart he knew that these could be people that needed help. He did not need to be the one to bring down the law upon them, but he could also not be as pretentious as to sneak into their personal lives and try to talk them down. They needed to realize that themselves and he could not help them accomplish that much, it was their own fight.
But this entire trail of thought that perhaps lasted a moment at best was suddenly interrupted by the appearance of another stranger, while the man was slightly on edge he did not immediately feel the need to back away only because she was clearly dressed differently from the others. That was exactly what threw him off the most, he was not impressed by the bunny ears, he had met plenty of animal people even back in the resistance, and yet the whole outfit he found quite extravagant.
“Hey, who are you?”
He stated clearly with polite intent, but it was not long he had to swallow up his own words the moment the bullet connected with his back causing him to stumble briefly. It pierced through the skin and some flesh, leaving a minor crimson flood to pour down, but thankfully the man was not only in shape but he was a Saiyan first and foremost; he had a sturdier constitution as a member of the warrior race, but admittedly this accident added a little bit of grit for him, nearly nullifying most of his thoughts and pity for these people.
“Aah, if that is how you want to play… then let us play.”
All this time the man had been using merely the edge of his weapon to cause minor burns and cuts, but by now he realized that he did not need to hesitate like this lest someone hurt himself because of the time he was taking in dealing with these thugs. Thus, his hand gripped the handle and unsheathed it all from his back, thankfully he dealt with the ones inside already, else he would be struggling keeping that massive sword not to stride against the walls.
“I will count on you, then.”
The man looked briefly over the kind stranger once more before he charged off himself to take on one of the groups that had approached the scene, when he landed amongst them, all he did was spin his heels and thus drove his sword against all of them, but what he did was use the large body of the blade, instead of the actual edges, not to chop them up but instead racket them all up and knock them away, like one would with a huge baseball bat, clearing the scene.
It was indeed a dangerous maneuver to pull off in a group fight, given the other group of criminals could probably easily take aim once more and shoot him but he decided to place the slightest bit of trust in the Android stranger that came to assist him, even if he could not get a read on her, he could see that she was perfectly capable of fighting and thus he was left without worries on her part.
Once the spinning move ended, most of those he could see were basically knocked over, either trying to stand up but failing to, or some others were dizzy enough where they were talking to their mama in their sleep. With a small sigh, he began to step away, and rescued those few poor people that remained stuck in the shop, allowing them to climb away from the debris or just to stand up, leaving anyone left for Destiny to deal with, right now he found the innocents’ well being to be higher on his list of priorities.
From some elderly to a couple more people of different kinds and ages, most of them managed to evacuate, in time for the sirens to be heard in the distance. While Nasu was no criminal, he knew well enough how this worked; they would either be seen as unauthorized to act against criminals, and also dangerous thus making them spend time in a cell or waste their time for hours on end at their station. In either case, he was not looking forward to anything like that.
“We better pack up and scram. We did a good thing but I fear they will not be kind to us for doing their job.”
He told the friendly stranger with a smirk, there was definitely a hint of sad sarcasm in that phrase. One could not even do one good deed that they would have to be considered nuisances nevertheless. Of course Destiny could do whatever she wanted, but at least Nasu would hop off the ground and fly into the endless, or well, at least until he was a couple blocks away and he could make his landing on a rooftop, still somewhat curious to observe the aftermath from afar.
