Zaks sat around the camp just a short distance from Cocoa village recovering from the wounds that the real king of vegeta had inflicted on her. It made Zak's temper grow just on how easy it had been for him to smack around like he had and it only made it worse that he had chosen to let them get away. Why she had no idea maybe he was cruel and just biding his time or maybe he wanted freedom just like all of them did. It made sense to her as he was weaker than the other power she had sensed at Vegeta city that had been on its way to fight them before she had chosen to withdraw from the city. If she had stayed it was possible to have fought them if they had no tricks up their sleeves but she knew the King did have exactly that. She knew that since he was the one who had taught her master the powerball. In that form he might be able to overcome the president if that is who it had been but even then she knew that might not be true if the king did not get a chance to transform.** Well this situation got a lot more complicated.** she sighed to herself.
Her people had fought alongside her even when she had nearly gotten all of them killed in her leadership and she knew her act of sacrifice to hold the king back was all that kept them with her. She did not want them endangered again and slowly stilled her resolve with what she had to do. She had to train to be even stronger than ever before, pushing herself so hard that she felt like she was dying and she knew that was the only way she could ever become strong enough to free her people. To be like her master Maycair and stand up to anyone with her head held high. She looked at her people one last time before she stood up and cleared her voice.** Listen up! I want everyone to follow the tribesmen back to the lunar shell. That place hides our power levels and will give up time to become strong enough to take back this world. This is nothing but a small setback!** Her eyes scanned everyones elses as they all stared back at her with a mixture of aww determination and focus.** Now let us move out!**
– Several days later in the Lunar shell–
Zaks stepped outside of her hut and surveyed the people that now had moved into the shell and it seemed a little crowded to her but she loved it. The people had settled in easily thanks to the accepting nature of the tribesmen here and already new homes were going up around the square. It was time for her to train as the people had settled in and she finally had time to do so. To her getting stronger was her most important goal. With a small whine of her KI she flew off to her training grounds, which was a large clear area on a cliff surrounded by a small wooden palisade that the tribe had created for her. She angrily went over to the training rack and put on the heaviest weights she could and thanked Maycair for making her purchase them while she was back on earth not so long ago. They actually hurt her limbs with every movement forcing her to move at slow paced making even walking a choir much less her exercises. But she did them faithfully regardless. Some of them with her heightened emotions after losing make tears of frustration appear in the eyes of the warrior as she growled at herself and picked herself up yet again. Something inside of her was ignited in anger that she had been too weak to live up to her purpose that she was meant for. Something deep inside her was screaming to become stronger than ever before and she would not stop until she achieved that. She would not lose again to anyone on this planet and she would achieve that or die trying.
The day sped by with her not stopping her training until she would literally drop from exhaustion that would overcome her. Thankfully her tribesmen would come and take her back home to her bed, leave her with food and not question her too much. They would help use their magic to heal her and clean for her around the house almost if they understood her new obsession with power. She only stopped training to handle important matters or be there for official functions and this carried into weeks that this cycle repeated.
But soon she was not alone in her training and many from the saiyan rebels and tribesmen would join her. She did not know when it happened but it was not an overnight achievement and they never got in her way while training. The practice grounds began to get small modifications and upgrades as time went on and expanded to help accommodate all the warriors using the grounds. Soon Zaks started to watch the others around her. Sometimes she learned a new training method that would improve her own and sometimes it was to help them. But one thing was clear:Slowly but surely all the warriors here wanted the same things as she did and that was to become stronger. Without even realizing Zaks slowly started to take time to take care of herself more and to help with leadership of the new rebel army that was hiding out inside her ancestral home. Soon she even began to train them as her students and unknowingly the pride she felt as each of them grew stronger was like a warm pit inside of her stomach.
One day Maya, her mothers biological biological child approached her with a clock with furred shoulders and bearing the colors of her tribe of silver and green. Zaks knew what the cloak was all too well as she had refused it when she took the name Zaks from her mother at her passing. Slowly with trembling hands she took it this time and donned the cloak that all leaders before her had worn.Mayas voice cut through her thoughts like a red hot knife making her jerk her head to her relative.** Now you are ready..I know grandma would be proud to see you wear it. Now you can take the full name of Zaks Neria. Leader of the lunar shell and soon the ruler of Vegeta** The onlookers clapped their hands at this statement as they all felt like it was overdue or for the new Saiyan dwelling here something worthy of their leader. With a deep sigh Zaks pulled all of her Ki into her hand and shouted at the top of her lungs.** WE WILL RETURN TO THE SURFACE! WE WILL BE FREE FOREVER!!** taking a brief pause she gestured to everyone around her a smiling across her lips** LOOK AT YOURSELFS!! ALREADY MANY OF YOU ARE STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! THIS IS WHAT THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP REPRESSED…THIS IS WHAT YOU ACHIEVE WITH YOUR OWN STRENGTH! NOW LET'S GET BACK TO IT UNTIL THERE WILL BE NO QUESTION OF OUR VICTORY.**
With a deep sigh she placed the Cloak back on a rack near herself with a smile full of hope for the future and went straight back into training with her allies and she could even consider them her extended family. She would never truly understand why they were so loyal to her but she loved it and it pushed her harder then ever before.
