It was a new day, and time for a test Maycair wasn't quite exactly ready for. She had been experimenting for some time with a new technique but one that was not her own. May only had one teacher at this point in her life, that of King Braccus. She had thought, what if she could push his technique further. Sure she was still on the path of the Gallick Gun, but she had knowledge of the powerball. It was hard for her to explore, how did you improve a technique that had been passed down through generation? It was nothing more than an access point for the Oozaru stage. There was always room for improvement, if anything she could at least increase the concentration of Blutz waves to maybe extend the duration of it. The longer one could use such overwhelming would still have plenty of use. May invited the king over to see the first step of progress for the ability but she was unsure what he would think. Most of their training had been done in her gravitron chamber, it was where she was now. If she had went great ape in it the ship would be destroyed. She would have to dissipate her own technique before it was too late. The idea was risky but she felt too comfortable in the chamber now, the workout from it was something she couldn't get out there unless there was a good fight. So far she hadn't sensed anyone that would be sufficient training partner. After all most of her power had been hidden away, the time to take of the shackles was coming soon.
TD sat there, wondering what his use would be in this simulation. He was arguably her most useful partner in this endeavor and for once he wasn't going to be hit, hopefully. "I get you're confused, but when I start diminishing the orb I need you to blast it, destroy it before we have a chance to fully ape out. We don't want to lose part of our home now do we? You know how long that'll take for us to repair. We'll be funneling a weak of work into replacing parts. So please just try and concentrate to the task on hand and I promise you won't get hurt. You're helping me in the regulation of this move okay?" It was a simple request, he was programmed to be a punching partner but he would have to appreciate this moment. He did show disdain for endless beatings.
Maycair would've spent more time certifying he understood but there was a ring of her doorbell. Who the hell gave a spaceship a doorbell? This was an attack vessel too, she needed to go to talk to those dealers about some of these features. Maybe it did make it a more convenient home but she was spending time day dreaming when she was supposed to be getting the door. Braccus, had already spent more than enough hours so he had just moved in on his own. "Oh I was just getting the door for Sir, I apologize for being late I appreciate you making your way out here." She would say feeling a bit nervous, her curtesy been a little out of formality.
"It's fine I just have a rather busy day, I was interested when you said you had a prospect for increasing the capability in the powerball? I can't lie I don't see much need for it but I'd be a fool to shun oppurtunity for potential advancement, or seeing your mindset. I'm guessing you don't plan on taking the technique far enough to give a proper example if we're going into your chamber." Braccus had spoke rushing towards the training room. Maycair would be slowly behind him, TD staring at them both with a blank face, she really needed to give him a better default appearance. That was something to think about later, back to the task at hand.
"So the room should help prevent the blutz waves from gathering properly but just incase me and TD are going to shut down the technique on our own for precautions. I get it would be a bit rude to force a transformation, especially if you have meeting coming up soon, or just any work. You'd barely have a foot in the room." She didn't realize the pun she made at first, but she doubted he knew earth sayings so he wasn't likely to notice either.
"Alright good buddy, lets show him what we got in the works, ready?" Maycair would ask looking for a sign of certainty. He gave a have hearted thumbs up to show he was prepared for whatever punishment was to come. Hoping not to give him a chance to be right Maycair would start charging up her Ki. The orb would form in her hand like usual, talking a light blue white almost like a pale moon night. Then, it would start to darken turning a purple so deep it appeared midnight. It was a black moon, she was sure there wasn't enough blutz in here to amplify but still it worried her. Maycair would lift the orb in the air for them to see, it did radiate with more ki than usual. "As you can see I've managed to increase the amount of energy converted into the technique. I'm hoping it will allow for it to last longer. That can be useful in amplifying our forces don't you agree?" She proposed to Braccus.
"Well done, I'd like to see how you take this further, if you can make an even stronger concentration it will be quite useful to bolstering our forces. I do have to head on out, I would say focus more on how your ki condenses. Keep in mind your powerball is like the moon, it reflects gathered energy but it does exist around. Just keep focusing on making a better mirror." Braccus offered as advice before turning around to leave. The feeling of her body to change would still come at some point if she chose to stare at the orb. She would blast the attack, TD following in suit with a few ki balls to disrupt any vision of the orb before it was too late. She had to be even more on top of it for the next one. She didn't really wanna see what would happen if Braccus had accidentally been enraged to into his Oozaru state.
"Thanks for the help TD, I appreciate it, lets keep this up a few more times. We need to keep the gravity high as well, we don't want to risk me throwing it out of the ceiling and creating a primate stampede." She was getting almost too used to the gravitron, it wouldn't be very good for her sense of gravity upon leaving.

It even allows previously created clones by Maycair to enlarge and experience the power boost as if they were created while she was in great ape form.
