Athren had found himself back at it, balancing atop the long pole with such grace. He had found himself in his new attire, his super weighted clothing on and his super saiyan transformation active. He had managed to find some kind of balance in his life. What he really needed to do was let it out, let out all the feelings that had been bottled up inside of him. They were everything holding him back. Once he allowed himself to release the anger and the hatred, he was much better off and could actually clear his mind, allow himself to balance out everything inside of him and focus on the end goal.
Though the thoughts of what had happened on Earth was still there, he had managed to find peace with it, he could accept it for what it was and not linger on the aggression or focus on the pain that he had still managed to feel. He wasn't going to allow it to hold him back, he needed to push forward because this wasn't permanent and what had happened with his children? Well, that could be reversed with the Dragon balls of Namek. They were the second chance that he needed, they were the solution to his problems.
He needed to focus on getting them and getting the power and abilities to do so without having much issue, he couldn't afford to lose another fight when the Dragon Balls were well within his reach. Though the pain of losing his children was there and active, never truly fading away, he needed to keep his focus on the positive and what could be done about it. He just needed to keep pressing himself forward here with this training and keep his mind clear and focus on the goal.
Now that his mind was clear, he was able to focus on everything within himself. He had been at this for over three weeks now and finally he was making some success. He felt every single muscle in his body, every single breath that he took, and every single thought, it was all crystal clear. He had managed to find the perfect place, within his mind, soul and body that had brought balance.
Along with that balance came everything else, control. He had found himself able to control his Ki, his emotions and everything about himself more easily and to a higher degree. As he remained balanced upon the pole, he truly felt as if he knew himself better now than he ever did. The clarity from the balance bringing something out of him he never would have thought possible, the power, the strength, the determination all renewed along with a new found sense of confidence. He had grown quite a lot since he had first arrived on Yardrat, he had learned so much and felt ready to take on the next of the Yardrat techniques. He had accomplished the balance and learned Spirit Control.
Pybara had walked up to the bottom of the pole and looked up at his student. "Athren, why don't you come down here for a second. I'd like to show you something." Pybara was going to demonstrate that this technique was so much more than just something about balance, but how it also amplified the users power and their energy techniques. How it made them so much strong than they ever would before.
Athren would open his eyes quickly and jump down, his feet touching the ground before his current masters. "Yeah, What's up?" Athren asked with a rather calm and confident face. He hadn't the slightest clue what Pybara had planned for him, or why he was called down here, but he did hope that it was the sign that he could move on with his training and learn the other techniques he was here to learn. He really wanted to learn the Instant Transmission technique, sooner rather than later if it were possible.
It was at that moment that Pybara would point his hand in a direction with nothing but nature, no buildings or people would be int he direction which he pointed and his smile grew on his face. "I want you to fire your weakest possible Ki beam in that direction, just use one finger." He said with a very light tone of excitement, as he was excited to see his student finally get this, for him to finally succeed.
Athren's right brow would have arched curiously, he didn't quite know what Pybara was getting at here but he wasn't going to refuse the request of the one training him. After all, Pybara had already helped him out so much and even unlocked this Super Saiyan form for him. Athren had every reason to trust Pybara and every single reason to be grateful for him. What Athren didn't know at the moment was that Pybara was giving Athren a demonstration of what the Spirit Control technique actually did and how it amplified a users Ki levels massively and without that knowledge, Athren didn't hesitate to follow orders. His right hand slowly raised up straight, his pointer finger extended as he let out the weakest beam of ki he could muster up from his finger and what happened would be surprising.
The beam that had left his fingers actually lifted up his forearm with recoil, it blasted through the trees effortlessly and carried on through. It traveled with the same power as his Nova Canon did, yet it didn't require any time to charge or prepare, it was simply effortless and all that power was now right there at his finger tips. It had finally stop when it came colliding with the mountain, causing a large explosion in the distance and Athren was left stunned. His right brow arched as both of his eyes widened, his jaw even dropped slightly. "What the hell..?" He was absolutely blown away with that he had just managed to do, it wasn't like anything he ever could have expected.
Pybara couldn't help but smile as he placed his hand on Athren's arm and lowered it gently. "That's the power of the Spirit Control, I just thought it best to demonstrate it to you now so you don't end up causing damage to a Planet or people unintentionally." His concern was genuine, if Athren didn't know about this there wouldn't have been any chance in hell he'd know to hold back. He could've easily destroyed another city, though this time unintentionally. This was the best move Pybara could have done.
Athren couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief. "That's.. that's fucking intense. I never would have thought.." He glared at Pybara with a blank expression, never expecting something like this to come to the Yardrats. He simply believed that learning the Spirit Control was a necessary step to their other techniques, such as the Instant Transmission or the Spirit Fission but he was clearly proven wrong! "How is that even possible!?" Athren questioned eagerly, wanting a solid answer.
Pybara had a very simple answer for Athren, yet it still retained a bit of mystery. "You've found your balance in body, soul and mind. It's allowed you to use all of that to the fullest of your potential without having to think about it, or charge it." With that being the extend of his answer, he had quickly moved onto his next train of thought. "Next, we're going to be teaching you the instant transmission. Which is actually the easiest of the techniques you wish to learn, So why don't we take a break now and celebrate your success and move onto it tomorrow." Pybara stated, though he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
The Super Saiyan needed to enjoy the moments of success, he needed to stop living his life a thousand miles at a time. He needed to stop focusing on just the end goal and celebrate every little victory along the path to get there and this was going to be the start of it all. Athren had done well and one day wasn't going to push him back any further. If anything, it'd only motivate him to achieve the next step in his victory.
Athren couldn't help but nod his head at the thought of food, it was something that he could take a break for. That and a little bit of rest or some personal training. After all, there was still techniques he wanted to learn that he didn't need Pybara for. "Yeah, That's fine by me." With that being said, the two would wander off to get some food and relax and enjoy the moment. Though even then, Athren couldn't wait to get back into training, there was a lot he wanted to learn and improve on, he wanted to be the master of his ki and his abilities and he wanted to master this whole super saiyan thing. Though just starting, he had a very long way to go.
