This would be the second time that Ryme's proximity alarm's gone off since he's piloted the ship. He'd wake up in a daze, running to the captain's chair to see what had triggered the alarm. Up ahead Ryme could see a fleet of 7 ships that would quickly surround him if they wished. He knew what would come next as they hailed him on comms. They'd tell him to power down his vessel and prepare to be boarded. He'd oblige Ryme wanted to know who he planned to kill before doing it as he was fully boarded by 6 men with armor and laser guns attached to their armor's right bracer.
Holding his hands up in a mock fashion, they'd post two of the men on Ryme. The other 4 would scour the ship making sure there were no other living passengers, and to get a quick sneak peek at their future treasure. Surprisingly, the men came back fast as if they were only looking for others. They'd make some kind of signal to the other men they'd nod and then they'd look again at Ryme. This time they seemed to expect an answer as they asked him where he was headed next. Ryme would tell them the planet and they'd start signing to each other rapidly. Soon there were only two guards left in the room watching Ryme. He knew if he wanted to escape now was the time, but first, he wanted more info.
They had guns, so either Ryme was about to be in for a bad lesson. Or he was right and he'd blast straight through the man's head. The next time either of his guards looked away he'd stick his hand up at the guard watching him. Then fired a ki blast straight to their face. As the first man toppled Ryme's hypothesis confirmed, he'd reach his other hand over the man's mouth and pull him to his chest. It was an awkward angle since the man was taller than Ryme, but it would throw him even more off balance.
"You guys are the protectors right, tell me where the seed is and you'll live."
The man would say never and Ryme would Ki blast the life out of him as well. He didn't think he'd get anything out of them they seemed trained. It made the second part easier at least. Ryme would go out to the tube until he was close to their ship. Then he would fire off a couple of Ki blasts to blow off the enemy door as well as their tunnel. Then he'd head back to his ship to keep going toward the planet.
The landmark was a well-kept temple as if a cleaning service came through weekly. Ryme had a feeling it was some of the people who tried to get him in space, as he didn't see a soul. Finding the time in the temple's library, Ryme would whistle as he walked back to his ship. He could tell from the way the translated text was reading. He was getting close, he had no doubts that the seed was real. Once he had it in his possession, the power that they'd reach. No one could stop their empire from flourishing.
