It was just another day out here in West City, good weather and all. The sun was shinning bright, the breeze was about 6 Miles per hour helping it be nice and cool, and the sky had those big puffy clouds. It was a nice day to be outside and enjoy it and that is exactly what Zero Ika was doing. He was sporting his typical fashion of choice, his Battle armor which had a crimson cloak tacked onto it. Nothing said noble like the sway of a cape on a person swaying in the wind as they walked. Zero wore little else however just a pair of white gloves. After about an hour of walking around Zero looked up to admire the skies, this planet really did have a beauty to it unlike most of the planets he had ever been too. This one was wasted upon those who inhabited it. Earthlings, mostly humans were a vile insect of a species. The only thing they seemed to be capable of was making good food, other than that they were worthless. It was true they had good technology but that seemed to stem only from two places on this planet either a Capsule Corps faciality or an illegal seller that went By Reb Ribbon Army. Either one however failed in comparison to the technological marvel that was the Planet Trade Organization. They had the best and brightest from all over the Universe and there was absolutely no humans there, that much he was sure of. It just begged the question why had the Planet Trade Organization not taken this place by now and cleansed the trash from it. Surely it would not be hard to cleanse the planet, destroy all remains of the humans here and sell it to the highest bidder. Perhaps he and Ryme should be the ones to do it? No while it would make them richer than they currently were there was rules and regulations that were needed to be followed for such a thing. It was to protect planets from being sold then taken again right away which would be bad for business. No one would buy from them if they turned a profit and then slaughtered the buyers days later. A Century or so would be good however by then the planets new inhabitants should have a fair chance at facing off an invasion. It was not as if they had no technology or armies of their own before hand, often times it was an expanding race that was looking for these worlds. Still, this jewel of a planet would make a great investment at some point.

Tabu hated space travel.
If it weren’t for the necessity of it in his particular line of work, the Namekian would be perfectly happy to never break atmosphere ever again. In almost every aspect of his life, Tabu could pretend to have some form of control. Most time, his life was very much in his own hands, no matter if he was choosing where to travel next or locked in combat with a deadly foe. Tabu liked that feeling of being in control of his own destiny, it made him feel secure in a world that pushed him out of his comfort zone far too often. However, when he was sailing through the stars either on his own or merely as a passenger, he was painfully aware that life and death were no longer solely within his hands. One ruptured bulkhead, one faulty oxygen filter, the merest trace of fuel contamination in the ships water supply, and he was dead, pure and simple. He would never have the chance to correct his greatest mistake or walk the sands of one of Namek’s great beaches ever again. Tabu of Namek would be the merest bit of flotsam, drifting forever across the vast expanse of the universe.
So when Tabu found himself desperately trying to pilot his failing ship through the envelope of Earth’s atmosphere while it quite literally fell apart around him, it was safe to say he was not exactly pleased with his current circumstances. Screamed profanities barely audible over the screech of tearing metal and the blaring klaxon of his ship’s computers rippled endlessly from his tongue. With a final shuddering crash, the ship broke the atmosphere, providing the Namekian a flood of relief and elation. And, then, he realized something very important.
He had no way of slowing down for landing.
The inhabitants of West City would see something akin to a falling comet, a fireball racing across the sky shedding bits of metal as it flew past. Those gifted with ki-enhanced perception and sight would see a flash of green as Tabu ripped the exterior airlock door off its frame, before hurtling himself into the open air. It was all he could manage to just barely get ahead of his falling ship, grabbing hold of the nose and PUSHING. Amber ki contrasted sharply with the orange-red glow of the flames as Tabu’s aura crackled and spat, the Namekian’s face going white with the sheer physical effort of slowing his ship down even the tiniest bit. Seconds turned into hours as the Namekian fought gravity itself for the one chance he had to leave this planet. Gradually, the ship came to a shuddering stop, held together only by the warm amber glow of Tabu’s ki. Panting with effort, Tabu slowly lowered the big ship onto the stalks of a golden wheat field, before collapsing to his knees. While the Namekian-style ship was in no style to fly anytime soon, he had preserved it, if only just.

Then it happened, the sight from the sky like some comet or rocket falling from space perhaps this was indeed what it was. He had to admit how pretty the site of something burning up in orbit was, whatever it was had drawn the attention of those around him as well. He found it annoying that he was discovered performing the same act as these low lives. When he saw what it was truly was Zero could not believe his eyes, where was Ryme at a time like this? Gathering his Ki Zero rocketed off after the ship tracking its trajectory with his eyes. He needed to be careful to not look directly as it might blind him for a time if he did. As he approached it he noticed that something as flown across the hull and was now in front of it. Was this ship about to crash? "Oh my, this could be just my lucky day. If they die we can use that ship if it is not too badly beaten up."
Zero Raced over at full speeds arriving shortly after the Namekian had dropped to his knees. It was time to try that friend thing again Ryme taught him. "Oh my, I do hope you alright. I was in the city when I saw you coming down. I raced over as fast as I could to offer aid. At last, it seems you had it handled yourself. You must be of the Warrior side of your race. That was no small feat I would be the first to admit. " Zero made sure to keep his distance from the Namek. He knew from his studies of Namek that they were not keen on outsiders. His father had forced him and Ryme to learn about it when they were kids. He even spoke their language. In Namek, Speak Zero motioned his hand towards the ship and said "What an excellent spacecraft. My brother and I have been looking at getting one of these ourselves as of late. The design and speed alone call out to us. " He made sure to smile as he spoke however painful it was to do so as he tried to be as kind as he could. It was that he did not enjoy being kind, he often has to be just that with employees back on Frost. Though he only liked doing so when he was going to be gaining things from it. At the office, it was harder work for his staff since he treated them so well. Today it would be to look on the inside of this Namekian Craft and see just what it truly was like.

It was an sickly sweet voice that pierced the exhausted daze that enveloped the Namekian, like that poisoned honey. The Namekian slowly raised his head, coal-black eyes meeting the Changelings gaze head-on. Just when I thought this day couldn’t get any worse. If this changeling is part of the PTO, I’m screwed completely. If its this strong in its base form, then I can’t imagine how powerful it will become if I piss it off. I have to make sure I keep control of myself. Tabu thought to himself, attempting to school his voice and body language into that of polite curiosity. The changeling’s story wasn’t unlikely to be fair, but the cynical side of the Namekian thought it was more likely that the changeling was simply hoping for some free salvage. Tabu nodded in greeting, slowly rising to his feet and brushing off his dirtied hands on his pants.
“I’m fine thank you for asking, my species is quite durable. Don’t think I would like to go through another experience such as that however, slowing down a spacecraft moving at re-entry speeds is not exactly what I would call a casual workout.”
The Namekian took note of the Arcosians positioning, and how he made reference to the “warrior side” of his race. Neither the Namekian’s dislike of outsiders nor the specific distribution of their culture was common knowledge to all but the most avid of scholars. Most of the changelings now overseeing his world had only figured out the former after discovering the Dragon Clan’s proclivity for magic. Which means this one probably either assisted with the conquest or knew someone who did. Shit. If it figures out I’m a Dragon Clan member this could get very bad very fast. Why couldn’t I have landed in a barren wasteland? Tabu thought, cursing the universe for his horrible luck, flickers of unease showing up on his expression.
The real surprise, however, is when the Changeling began speaking in Namekian. The pronunciation was a bit stilted, and the accent could use a little work but it was unmistakably the language of his people. Tabu was stunned, how had this Changeling possibly have convinced anyone to teach it to him? Most Namekians would have gladly died before divulging such a precious secret, after all it was only in the language of the Dragon that one could activate the Dragon Balls: a fact that had kept their race alive multiple times when warlords had come to claim the wish-granters. Tabu switched to the language as well, purposefully thickening his voice into a regional accent of the Hydra clan.
“It is so rare to speak to someone who knows the language of my homeland. May I know your name stranger? My name is Iolin of Namek.”
Tabu said, extending a hand. If Zero was observant, he could probably glean from Tabu’s voice and body language that he wasn’t being entirely truthful. The Namekian was never really that amazing of a liar, and time had not altered this ability. Nevertheless, the Namekian gestured up to the ship.
“She is as you say. I don’t suppose you are interested in purchasing it? It does have a few minor bumps and scrapes if you haven’t noticed.”
While the ship was important to Tabu, it was more important in his opinion to keep his new ‘friend’ happy. Everything valuable on the computers had likely already been destroyed by the crash, and he could use the funds to find a way off this rock once the target on his back faded a little.

Zero was curious why the Namek seemed so nervous, perhaps he was fleeing Namek from the PTO? There was no way to prove it and this was not his job. This meant he did not care too much about the truth of it all or what this man's intentions were with coming to Earth. It was not until Zero spoke in his language that the Namek seemed to collect himself almost fully as one who just almost died could have. When he offered his hand and spoke his name Zero smiled looking up to the namekian, he stretched out his much smaller hand and shook it glad to have met this man simply for the chance to view the ship. Iolin, as he introduced himself towering over Zero, Iolin gestured to the ship and asked if he was interested in buying. While the offer was indeed tempting, and perhaps he could find evidence after a proper reboot of the computers, he did not wish to put in that much work into a ship unless it was at a steal. Zero retracted his hand and placed it back behind his back. Zero made sure to think about how to phrase his response in Namkekian.
"Ah yes forgive my rudeness, I am Zero Ika. It is a pleasure to meet you Iolin. It is indeed a rare skill which is why my father pushed so hard for my brother and me to learn it. Forgive me if it is not the best. I have not really had the chance to use it with any native speakers. "
Looking back to the ship Zero looked at it closer noticing it was as he said before, though he imagined for the Namek to jump out and try to save it, the inside must have taken serious damage. "You can tell your people's durability has transcended into the crafting of their ships. Though I can not make an offer without seeing what the insides looked like of course. " While he was not sure why the Namek was interested in selling it, he would not take the offer lightly. If the two of them could come to terms on a decent price and the Namekian truly wished to sell it then perhaps. After all, it would surely help Ryme and him out with getting one that he knew was real. Zero thought it best to press just slightly. "Forgive me for bringing up such an unpleasant thing, but it is truly painful to hear what is going on with Planet Namek currently. I do honestly wish things were different. " This was not a lie, he did wish things were going differently there, but in a way that would probably be worse for the namekian people than what they were currently facing. While he did not know of the Dragonballs just yet, he did know that Namekians often had special powers and needed only water to survive. The best part was they lived on a planet filled with it, much more than what earth had, and their warriors while great were nothing compared to the might of the PTO. If it was Zero's call they would all be taken into forced labor if they refused to follow the rules. Since they were as durable as Iolin had stated they would make great slaves, and the cost of keeping them would only be containers for water.
Sadly for him, he was not the one running things. Not yet anyway, perhaps in the near future he and Ryme would press through the ranks and start their suttle but quick take over of the organization and bring it into the true might that it could be. Things would defiantly be better when they were in charge.

“Charmed. Though I must admit I am surprised to find someone as powerful as yourself on Earth. I didn’t think there was anything here that would be all that interesting for someone such as yourself.”
Tabu’s tone was politely questioning, but inside he was burning with questions. This was perhaps the most interesting individual of the species he had ever met, and also the more dangerous. Zero’s questions were like that of spoiled Aijisa orange: sweet and inviting until one examined them a little more closely and sensed the sink.
“Then it is even more impressive that you have such a command of the language. Although….I cannot fault the wisdom of learning new languages, though I have to wonder why Namekian was your father’s first choice? I’m flattered of course, but it isn’t exactly useful outside of my homeworld.”
As Zero eyed the ship with hungry eyes, Tabu ran through plans in his mind at a breakneck speed, generating and discarding them almost as soon as they were formed. The sad truth of the situation was that he honestly didn’t have a lot of options with the sheer size of the ki gap between them. Even if he bent all of his ki and magical prowess to the task, it was doubtful whether he could even scorch the hem of the Changeling’s cape, let alone if it transformed into one of those monstrous forms that had killed so many of the Hydra clan during the initial invasion. All he had left was to comply with the Changeling’s wishes, or give up his life in a pointless act of defiance. The thought of basically handing over the last thing he had left of his home made his blood boil and his teeth clench in rage, but he forced the emotions down. If he wanted his revenge, he would need to be smart about this.
“Of course. Though I’m afraid to tell you it might not be exactly in mint condition.” Tabu joked, fighting hard to keep his expression neutral. He gestured at the open doorway, indicating that Zero was free to enter the craft if he wished. Maybe, just maybe, he could get through this without endangering himself. He turned towards the ship, taking a step towards the entryway in a show of trust.
Then, Zero apologized for the state of Namek.
For the span of a millisecond, Tabu’s ki spiked, briefly surrounding him in an amber aura of sheer power. Memories came flooding into his mind unbidden, memories of fire and screaming, memories of pain, loss and the sheer despair that rained from the uncaring sky upon a people that had absolutely nothing but give back to the universe. Tabu fought so hard to keep his emotions under lock and key, in a small box that he could draw upon for motivation but not impact his decisions. But the more he experienced the universe, the more hopeless it all seemed. Exile had made Tabu strong, stronger than all but the most elite Hydra guards alive, but it didn’t matter. In a universe of warriors, his growth rate was just….insufficient. Would he ever reclaim his home?
Forcing his emotions into a bottle, Tabu relaxed, ki dying down almost the second it appeared. “…Sorry about that. I believe I hurt my leg more than I thought. Go ahead, I just need a second to regenerate.” The Namekian explained, hissing through his teeth and placing a hand on his knee. It was a flimsy excuse, but if Zero continued to wish to be polite, it would hopefully be enough.

Zero chuckled. "Yes, I suppose Namkian language is rather a strange thing for one to learn. I think it was because my father has enormous foresight. This is the largest reason I have not taken to company our family owns from him just yet. That, and if I tried to do so he would surely kill me. "
Zero paused for a moment as he relaxed his face. "You think I am strong? Interesting. My fighting ability has little to do with why I am here. You see the family business is responsible for making components for scouters and such, so I have come to Earth and see what advances they have made. These Dino capsules are brilliant and I have also run into rather curious power dampening cuffs. "
Something seemed to be bothering the Namek, his expressions were fluttering back and forth like a faulty drive board on a ship. As the Namekian Iolin motioned for Zero to enter the ship first the changeling nodded in thanks. He mentioned something about an injury, though when Zero looked down at the leg there was no evidence of such a thing. Perhaps it was on the inside.
"Honestly, your species is a magnificent one. Well mannered and spoke, and as you said durable but the regeneration ability you have is marvelous. If you were not such intelligent beings I would suggest we took some of you into a lab and tried to find that gene and make it something we could sell if at all possible. However, you are too noble for such a thing. I do hope it is not too serious, though I suppose you can heal it even if it were to be ripped off. Your species would be a problematic one for anyone who tried to take over Namek if your people were not so nomadic and peaceful. They would make find soldiers that is true enough. "
Zero then entered the ship with caution looking about to make sure nothing was going to fall on him or even blow up in front of him. Overall nothing was horrible. It did not exactly crash land, so nothing was too bent out of shape. Still, there were clear signs of damage and evidence of a long haul. Another thing Zero liked about being a Namke, they only needed water and air to survive. While Zero did not need one he certainly needed provisions to live.
"This craft is in good condition for all it has been through. I hope you treated her well and did not ride her like you were leaving a blockade or something. Where are you coming from anyway? I'm confident it was not your homeworld, but perhaps you were returning there and then got news of what the PTO was doing there and made your way here? Do you think the USD is a better organization than the PTO?"
Zero questioned as soon as he heard the namek enter the ship. It was not that he was aiming to trap the Namek into saying something and then arresting him or capturing him. That would do him no good. Though perhaps he could find out if the namek had hate in his heart for the PTO. Hate in his heart was exactly what Zero would be looking for in people as of late. It was a key component of a skill he was studying.

“Death is always a good motivator to learn new things I suppose.” Tabu said, taking note how Zero skillfully dodged his question. The Namekian didn’t believe for a second that the Changeling’s interest in Namekian was purely academic: a viewpoint only reinforced by Zero’s vague insinuation that Namekian was extremely useful to know. There had to be something deeper going on there, Tabu could almost smell it. Once he found it out, then he could devise countermeasures against it, no matter what it would cost him. The thought of a universe where the Changelings had full command of the Dragon Balls made him shudder.
“The Earthlings are quite inventive I’ll give you that. Makes you wonder how such an average species otherwise can create devices that rival even Changeling scientists. I’ll have to pick up a set of those power-dampening cuffs for myself before I move on, could be quite useful.” Tabu said thoughtfully, his mind alive with memories of jobs where such a device could have made life so much easier for him. Of course, this begged the question of why Zero had encountered such a device, but Tabu shelved the thought for the moment. Zero was quick enough that he needed to guard his words carefully: there was no room to idly speculate.
Shaking off the memories nipping at his heels like insects, Tabu watched the Changeling enter the ship, casting an emotional eye over the craft. The ship had been his home more often than not over the long years of his exile, and it burned him to give it up, even if it was mostly broken and he had no real choice in the matter.
“I wont deny that my species holds many inherent advantages. Regeneration, a good amount of inherent power and even the capability to perform magic set us apart from the vast majority. However, one could say much the same about your species. Our versatility is all well and good, but compared to the power to erase worlds, it is a little lacking.”
If Zero wanted to play games of words, Tabu was more than willing to match him wit for wit. The Changeling’s vague insults towards his species did not escape his notice, and Tabu very privately began to wish he didn’t need to be so polite to the changeling.
“Namekian crafts are built to get you home. Sometimes other ship designers add too many bells and whistles that distract from its main purpose.” Tabu commented, dragging himself out of his head and rapping a knuckle on the ship’s hull. Despite the torment the ship had been put through, most of the damage was to the interior (except the giant hole Tabu had blasted open). The hull itself was surprisingly intact, albeit covered with scorch marks from its passage through the atmosphere.
“Not a particular fan of space travel, so it was not a joyride no. Took some hits from a pirate cruiser in a nearby system that blew out a few of my thrusters. The lack of control made reducing my velocity enough to enter atmosphere…tricky to put it bluntly.” Tabu explained, grunting slightly at the memory of his misfortune. With that thought, Tabu knelt and placed a green hand on a certain part of the metal floor, finding a hidden groove and pulling sharply up. From within the hidden compartment, the Namekian retrieved what appeared to be a black canvas bug-out bag, slinging it over his shoulder even as Zero sprung his ambush.
Tabu’s expression was carefully schooled, “I’ve been away from home from a long time on other business. When I returned to civilized space, I heard about the takeover and decided there was no point to returning only to be enslaved. Been doing some work as a mercenary to pay the bills ever since. As for the USD, well, I tend to take care of myself. Don’t especially like people telling me what to do.”
Tabu watched his buyer carefully as he spoke the curious mix of truth and lie. How would the changeling react to the knowledge that a Namekian roamed free?

The changeling looked at the Namekian with rage in his eyes the red spheres became hidden behind squinted eyes as he looked the green being up and down wondering just who the hell the snowmaking and thought he was. he had some it though the bonus of this creature was impressive not many in the universe would ever dare say something so bold for in front of the presence of a changeling much less 0 of all changelings. he was in between deciding whether to slap sense into the Namekian or shake his hand he decided on neither I think a consideration he thought perhaps it would just be best to try this friend concept that his brother had taught him on the Namekian perhaps Iolin would be helpful to in the future it was best to keep his temper in check and proceed as if he was not angry about that sleight of hand comment.
What a bold statement that you assume that humans are anywhere on the same level as changelings. So perhaps you do have a point they are an Innovative species but they like the drive and control to achieve things beyond their current goals truly. probably if they had somebody like me in charge then their technology would see a boom and the entire planet would soon become a profitable one perhaps one of the wealthiest planets on the side of the Galaxy. or maybe they only had apt in advance for the smallest and slaves of things like entertainment their television shows and radio broadcast Networks are lackluster in my opinion having my brother seems to enjoy them quite a lot.
Chuckling at the comment about Pirates and space the changing them nodded his head before saying yes yes space is a very dangerous place to travel if you're ill-equipped especially if you do so alone I couldn't wager what kind of predicaments you found yourself in the last you have finally made it to earth safe and sound yeah Craft on the other hand perhaps not so much.
Zero thought about what he was hearing, sadly it seemed this namek had not fled from Namek so he had no true intel on how things were going there. Perhaps it would just be better to gain intel from his sources from the PTO. A mercenary you say well if you're looking for a client I could use some extra muscle while here on Earth and perhaps even after I can pay you well or we can trade services.
He was not sure if the Namek would work with or for him in any matter, but if he did it would look wonderful on his reputation having a Namekian employed. Now all he needed was a Human and a Saiyan on his payroll and his future organization would look ideal to most species. And he could do all this while pushing out the agenda of wanting to have equal tech throughout the galaxy so that no planet would go without.
