Their effort to draw the wizard Babidi's attention had worked flawlessly. Ryme and Zero were flying toward their designated meeting place, Ryme had stolen a vehicle because he didn't plan on using all of his energy flying. Ryme's guard was up, after their last adventure with the slavers, he knew that earthlings would do anything to obtain power. That was something Ryme could empathize with; he thought he'd find no common ground with the lesser races. Flying through the sky also reminded Ryme of their need for a spaceship. He knew the price of Namekian ships had gradually decreased due to PTO's incursion. That was in their price point, he would probably have to relinquish ownership to his brother but combined it shouldn't take too long to acquire the funds.
When they arrived, Ryme was surprised to see a small two to the three-story building. From what he had heard of Babidi he was quite a powerful wizard, the base might have been larger on the inside than outside. As he parked the vehicle and hopped out he'd look at his brother.
"We should destroy the car so no one knows we're here right? Also, what do you think of the base, I thought it'd be larger, if this guy isn't strong enough I say we just take the base."
Depending on his brother's answer Ryme would figure out what to do with the car. After that, he'd proceed to walk to Babidi's base. The door would open for them as they approached, there was a wide empty floor with a ceiling extending to the top of the building. When Ryme saw the elevator he knew that the base had to be bigger than it appeared. Babidi's face appeared on a screen on the Northwest wall and began to speak.
He'd detail that before he was willing to train them, they'd have to prove themselves against some of his minions, Two large humans each 6' 4" and muscles bulging to the point their skin almost seemed to rip stepped out. There were large M's tattooed in the middle of their foreheads. Ryme didn't expect a test, but he also didn't mind it. Having to prove yourself just shows that the master values his time.
Ryme would get into a fighting pose, and looked over at his brother. He wasn't sure if he wanted to take one each or if they wanted to take them down as a team. He'd wait to see what he felt like, before continuing.

As they flew in the car Zero wondered just how far this guy lived. Sure it was slower to fly out like this than flying under his power but this was easier and less draining. His brother had brought up before wanting a Namekian ship, while they were not bad ships he had to admit he wished they could be in something with a bit more class. Something with way more room than they would even need. He was a man who valued the finer things in life no matter how much more they cost but when you lacked the means to purchase those finer things you had to settle so he never made a fuss about the Namekian craft.
When his brother brought up the idea of destroying the car, Zero looked over his shoulder at it. "I'll handle it." Zero walked up to the vehicle and slammed his right fist through it making a hole. Once the hole was made he would grab where the hole was and lift, once the vehicle was over his head he would twist around fully one time and throw the vehicle with all his strength grunt as he tossed it with all his strength. He watched it sail through the air he would chuckle knowing it might be a bit more than what his brother meant but it had been taken care of at this point.
"Car is taken care of, as for the base. While Perception is indeed reality, we need to remember this guy is a magician. His power comes from something we have no idea about. That being said, we take what we want. After we gain what we seek if you wish to make this our Earth base of operations then so be it."
After finding out they had to prove themselves against the humans Zero looked over to his brother and held up two fingers, put them down then flashed them both again. The signal was to show he wished to do a two-on-two style of combat. While one on one would probably not be an issue for either of them, he did not wish to show his tail and display weakness so early on. With the two-on-two combat, he could use his brother to make up for his shortcomings and the reverse can be said.
Zero would then crouch down slightly as his tail swayed left and right slowly, his left hand hovered under his chin with an open palm while his right fist made a ball. His knee each bent slightly as he shifted his weight forward on his shoulder-width apart feet. Looking at his brother one last time he gave a nod and then looked over at the two Humans.
We will do a team combat format if you two do not mind. Please do not hold back. I do wish to have some form of a challenge in my weakest state.
With that being said the two humans chuckled in their own right as their auras became visible as they started to approach. Both of them picked a brother and darted towards them. Zero gathered Ki in his open palm and fired towards the one that went for his brother, aiming at the Human's lower half of their body. This of course gave the human who came after him a bit of an edge to throw an attack at Zero but he was confident he could handle it. He was right because the muscle bond human thought their small sizes meant they lacked physical power. This was not the truth of the matter though. Zero and Ryme each had their fair share of power, but physical fighting is where Zero shined over his brother. Ryme, however, had the ki style combat edge over Zero, it was perfect that they were twins and their fighting styles were so different. It allowed them to follow different paths for combat.
When the human who came after Zero attempted to strike him with a Punch, Zero's swaying tail reached over and grabbed the punch, the target's height working in Zero's favor because as the punch was caught and grabbed Zero lifted his tail uplifting the guard of the Human where Zero used a single right jab to the core to weaken his opponent's position. After the strike, Zero let go of the arm with his tail and lunged in striking with an elbow.

Ryme would look over as his brother came him a signal. Implicit communication was something the brothers had perfected over 70 years. His brother would then assume his fighting pose. Ryme's was vastly different, after years of embarrassment, he had found a form that suited his style. He'd take a deep breath, relax his body, then lean his back at 60 degrees. His left foot was forward knee bent while his right leg was relaxed they weren't far spread apart. Then he would begin to make circular stumbling movements. His tail would flicker around as well in circular motions giving off the appearance that Ryme was stumbling like a drunk. Once his brother's stance was assumed he'd speak to the two warriors. Telling them that they'd take them both on at the same time. This is where they were most advantaged. As his brother fired off a Ki blast, Ryme would take full advantage and fire a blast of his own at the same target. He expected the man would shrug them off while continuing his charge. His opponent would take both blasts full-on while moving faster towards Ryme. Ryme would start stumbling counterclockwise while his opponent closed the distance. As the muscled man came in close, he'd do an overhead hammer strike. Ryme was prepared for most attacks, and this was no different. He'd fall to the ground while moving off to the side to give off the appearance of the hit connecting. As soon as his back hit the ground, his right arm immediately sent a ki blast at his brother's opponent. He had intentionally positioned himself so that the other fighter's back was to him. Ryme had no sense of honor and would always take advantage of a situation to his benefit. That was what learning from Babidi was about to him. He wanted to learn this Majin Mind control, it would enable their army to be completely loyal. While shooting off his Ki blast his opponent would begin to rapidly stomp towards his body, while Ryme managed to evade some he couldn't dodge them all. Ryme's main focus was to avoid any that were aimed at his head. It was during one of these last hits that Ryme would use his tail to knock the man off his feet while lifting his feet from a stomp. Jumping back to his feet, Ryme would aim his Ki ball and chuck it straight at the man's head. Before he had time to see the result of his blast, Ryme would start moving back to create space for his opponent. On the way, he'd fire a couple of Ki blasts towards his brother's opponent again. As he went back to his awkward fighting stance. While Ryme was firing off, he would see his opponent charging at him looking to bring him to the ground. He knew that there wasn't enough time to dodge the attack so he braced himself for the pain. As his back slammed on the ground and the pounding began. Luckily, the man wasn't as strong as some of the other changelings he had been abused by. As the first three punches went straight for his face, Ryme would charge up another ball this time in his left hand. He'd bring it straight into the rib of his opponent. The heat of the blast would affect him as his opponent went flying towards the wall. He'd look over at his brother to see how his engagement faired after his additional help. WC: 585 TWC: 1,003

At last, when he had gone in with the elbow, his opponent gripped him by his horn and tossed him skidding across the ground. He had never felt so embarrassed before in his entire. The human tossed him like a doll by his horn. His anger rose as his opponent came over the top of him coming with an overhead right, but his brother had aided him with a ki blast that struck the target right in the back. Thanks to that Zero leaped backward putting some distance between him and his opponent, he fired a furry of the blast at his opponent and purposely missed some to head towards his brother's foe. His target came out of the smoke from the ki blast almost unharmed. Just what were these humans? Was this the power of the Majin control? If so this made Zero wish to know how to use it even more so.
Zero lifted from the ground bringing his head even with his opponent as he sent out a flurry of kicks and punches, while some hit others were blocked and his opponent even countered some. As the two stood toe to toe another set of blasts came from his brother striking the man again, allowing Zero to land several good strikes that hit clean and stunned the man from their impact. Wasting no time to follow up Zero flew past the human wrapping his tail around their next choking the man as he dragged him for a few feet as he lifted both hands and fired off several Ki blasts at his brother's opponent again. Zero would then swing his leg back kicking the man in the back of the skull as he let go with his tail. When the human wants sitting across the ground Zero landed placing himself back into his stance.
While Zero faced his brother he ensured his fight was going well, it seemed he was doing fair. Zero turned to face his opponent, seeing a ki blast of the human's making heading towards him. Placing his arms in front of him in an X the blast met his bio armored arms and exploded upon impact, the blast burning his arms slightly and forcing his eyes shut. He then felt a jolt of pain come from his leg as he was swept to the ground with a kick. Letting out a growl of annoyance Zero held both hands out in front of him as he fired off a big ki blast at point-blank dealing damage tot he both of them and followed it up with a beam, ki beaming the human up into the air before letting his ki clam the attack. The changeling reached his feet once more and watched as the human sailed into the air before the ki beam blew up and the human began to fall, blast smoke drifting from their clothing as they hit the ground hard.
When he looked over his shoulder panting a bit as he did so, he re-positioned himself to have his opponent and his brother's opponent in sight. As he waited for the both of the men to line up Zero built up the ki into his right hand as he began to chuckle. He would be lying if he said he was not enjoying himself. It seemed Ryme might be as well, if nothing else at least they got to get a bit of that rage from the enslavement out of their system. He wondered though, just how much punishment these two men could take. Surely they were nearing the end of the ropes.

The beauty of teamwork was the number of extra blasts that were hitting both of the brother's opponents from the random Ki blasts. Ryme was surprised by their fortitude; his opponent was finally slowing down as he stumbled back to his feet. Ryme wasn't exactly spry at this point in the fight either. Still, the risk is what they lived for, both the brothers. He'd risk it all every time to ensure the future he wanted. If he didn't have that, what was the point of living? He'd charge up another orb, one of his last ones, and before he could hurl it the voice of Babidi would echo through the chambers.
"Stop, that's good enough for now. I see potential in both of you, proceed to the next floor."
The two men would grunt, they didn't seem happy with the outcome. Ryme would let out a sigh of relief as he walked over to his brother and slapped him on the back. They'd walk to the elevator, Ryme was ready for it to go up and there be some kind of magical next floor. As a result, he did jump a little when the elevator rapidly descended in the opposite direction.
The ride wasn't very long, and the doors opened up into a calming green plain. They still didn't see their future master, this time instead of his voice or image appearing there was a single pedestal in front of them. There was a letter on it, instructing that they'd need to meditate until the time came for their next series of instructions. There were no mentions of food or water, but Ryme was confident if it came to that they could bust out. Better to play their roles, for now, to see if their new master would provide for them.
"I guess it's time to meditate, we can always change our minds later if necessary."
Ryme didn't believe in the typical positions of meditation. Instead, deciding to lay down on the grass, relaxing his body. Breathing in through his stomach and slowly exhales. He'd see how long he could meditate before going crazy.
