After many months of planning and preparation, the night had finally come to fill the contract and claim his money and his dreams. He was but a few hours away from being paid the most he has ever been offered for a job and it was enough to allow him to retire from the life he lived and take his kids to a place where they could be kids. It had all been about tonight, one swift attack and it would all be over. It was funny how months of preparation would be paid off in a matter of an hour and the rewards would come rapidly.
At this very moment Athren had found himself in Orange City standing on top of one of the tallest buildings. The dark night sky being lit up by all the light pollution the city had to offer and behind some of the darker clouds was the brightest of the full moons. Athren's eyes of course wouldn't focus on that, he'd keep them in any other direction, unless of course he needed to look towards the bright ball in the sky but he didn't see it likely that it would actually come to that. In fact, he had other plans to attack the base and if it went according to plan, he wouldn't be in the sight of the rest of the Earth. What he had been doing on the tall building was waiting for another saiyan to join him, one who would peer upon the full moon, unintentionally of course.
It had seemed so odd, after months of preparing how he told his crew to pack up the camp and load up the ship for a rapid departure when he returned. He didn't want to risk the heat coming down on anybody from his faction, he didn't want his kids getting caught up in this mess. He wanted to finish off the job and make a very quick and clean escape into the stars and he'd even go his own way with the kids, breaking off from the faction and everything he knew. Though there was few on Earth who he would have liked to say goodbye too, he had to choose what was best for his kids and he couldn't back out of this contract even if he wanted too. There was only one choice in the matter and that was to push through and finish the job.
Athren's attire was his normal saiyan attire, though today he still wore his heavy weights. He needed to be ready to fight just in case his plan didn't come to pass or Quash didn't end up showing up as they had discussed. Whether or not the other saiyan would be there, Athren was willing and ready to do whatever it took to finish off his contract.
As he stood there waiting and watching the USD base, he could see that it had calmed down for the night. Less lights were on, the patrols were smaller and surely those posted there had been starting to slow down for the evening or out on the town to relax from the day's work. None of them would have expect what was about to happen, how their peaceful place of work was about to turn into a horror movie. The objective wasn't about them, the people though. It was about the building, the structures and the plans they had contained.
Athren's employer had wanted to make an impact on the USD, slow them down. Prevent new orders from going to space and to keep everything in a brief pause. It would allow the Earth to be weakened with a slower response time to anything that could happen either on Planet or off planet, it was a strategical move not to reduce the amount of soldiers that could be shipped out, but to add hectic panic towards any advanced on the USD at a later date. Athren saw how it could work but what it could leave the Earth vulnerable too? Well that never even crossed his mind.
For a brief moment what did cross his mind was the casualties that would come from this, whether he had wanted them or not they'd pile up under his feet or Quash's and they'd have no defense or preventive measures for what was to come. Nothing that the USD could dish out would be enough to damage the mighty great ape or even Athren in his demonic form for that matter. The only real threat would be the fighters of Earth, the ones who just wanted to do good and prevent the loss of life and damage that would come from this.
With the base on the edge of the city, the city itself was at risk. Especially with a great ape roaming around, but if it came to that to accomplish the assignment, well Athren wouldn't complain. He'd do what he needed to do, he'd fight who he needed to fight. Failure wasn't an option, this would hold his entire future and the future of all those in his faction. This was his endgame.
Athren stood upon the roof still, waiting in the cool night breeze. His hair ruffling as the sound of vehicle horns and sirens rang through to his ears. The night was as peaceful as it would get, the city was as calm and relaxed as it was going to be for a long while because in the morning, the news would be reporting everything they could about the historic event Athren was about to be responsible for. Orange City was about to be changed forever and with it the entire Earth. The only thing stopping it from happening right now, is the puppet who had know idea what he was about to be used for or what kind of damage he'd do. All he needed was Quash to arrive and to get him to look at the full moon, and then the chaos would begin.

This was a pretty odd place to meet. Couldn't they have just met... anywhere else?
Quash was flying in to meet up with Athren in Orange City like they had discussed when they first met. The Captain's plan originally was to try and finally convince him to join the cause of the Saiyan Rebellion. The thing was, he didn't know that the place they were meeting at was literally right outside of the USD base. It was kind of weird to leave out, but it was probably because there was some sort of trust issue between the two. He couldn't blame him, they were hardly acquaintances let alone friends. Oh well, maybe after today it'd be a little better.
After a little bit of looking around from above, he spotted Athren from above. Quash wasn't hiding his energy, so he figured that his kind-of-sort-of-acquaintance-but-not-really already was aware of his arrival by the time his feet touched the roof of the same building. He walked towards him, looking around as he did so. The view sure was nice from up here, you could practically see the whole city from this altitude. It would probably be a lot better if it was brighter outside. Maybe if they got here earlier?
"Let me get this straight. We're at this altitude, at this time of night, with this scenery? You really like maintaining that edgy, ominous vibe don't you?" Quash asked jokingly, blissfully unaware that anything strange was going to happen. He took on a more serious attitude as he was going to do a deep dive into exactly what his plans were. He didn't exactly know how to smoothly transition into the important stuff, so he figured he'd just get right to it. "So, we got important things to talk about, don't we? If you don't mind, I'd like to start first to just lay it all out on the table."

JoreyCurrent Location: Orange CityCurrent Timeframe: NighttimeCurrent PL: 6,771The night was young. With nothing to do, Jorey flew through the night sky, the chill of the breeze blowing against his skin, his black cloak rustling in the wind. There were quite a few interactions he'd had recently, all of them flashing through his mind at once. Since coming to this planet, Jorey's experiences have been relatively eventful. He's met quite a few people, more than he usually would when jumping from planet to planet. Something about this place seemed to stick out. The experiences he had were both tame and hectic, but one thing was constant: he just kept meeting people. They weren't necessarily clients or targets; they were people. They weren't people after his head for revenge or to cover up loose ends; they were people. They weren't necessarily hostile; they were just people. What was going on with Earth? Was there something here Jorey was supposed to see, something he was supposed to do? Jorey didn't know what to make of the planet. He landed on a random building in this unexplored city. He was in uncharted territory, at least for himself. If he remembered correctly, the lone wolf was in the southern part of the planet. Indeed, the night was still young. There was still a lot that could happen tonight. As if something out there was reading this thoughts, Jorey got a couple of readings on his scouter. Who the hell could be walking around right now, at this time?
Jorey followed the readings of the signatures and saw a familiar face, with another Saiyan next to him. It was Athren. He stood there, atop another rooftop not too far away, with another Saiyan, seemingly in conversation with him. Both of their energy signatures were very close to Jorey's, but he couldn't shake the one feeling he got ever since he first met Athren. Jorey's first interaction with Athren was a confusing one for him. Athren had the ability to both sense and conceal his energy. When he tried to get a reading of his power level with his scouter, it was coming up way lower than it should have. For Athren's case, Jorey had a feeling that his true power wasn't actually what it appeared to be. Regardless, he made his way over there, discreetly at first. He was curious as to what they were talking about. Chances were, if Athren really was able to sense energy, Jorey would be found out immediately. He still didn't know how to sense or hide his energy, and that was a huge disadvantage he bared on this planet. Everyone was able to sense each other, or at least most people were. This was something Jorey was determined to learn quickly. Thinking about it a bit, Jorey felt that trying to be sneaky wasn't the best idea. He leapt quietly towards the building, making his way closer with each and every leap. As he got closer, he could have sworn he heard the other Saiyan say something about "things to talk about." They had a meeting here? Wonder what it is they could be talking about here. Probably can't be something casual, like what kind of food they feel like eating.
Finally, Jorey made one last leap to the farther side of the rooftop Athren and the other Saiyan were on. With his back turned to them, he straightened up, afterwards turning to face them with his hood down. His tail poked out of his cloak a bit. Jorey walked closer to the other two and greeted them. "Athren, could never imagine running into you here at this time of...night. Hope I ain't intruding on anything."
Jorey turned his attention to the other Saiyan there. He was taller than Jorey, with a scary on his face. The spoils of battle, he guessed. He put his hand to his chest and introduced himself to the other Saiyan. "Jorey. I haven't seen you around this planet, yet. You new here?"

Well it appeared that he wasn't going to be left to do this alone, when Quash had arrived Athren simply turned his head and watch him get on his level. Though Athren didn't give any type of greeting or wave, he would simply let Quash do the talking to begin with. Though for a brief moment Athren's ocean blue eyes glared up at the shifting clouds, in but a few short moment the full moon would be revealed once again. The timing had almost been too perfect, it had appeared that this evening was going in his favor so far. When Quash had made a comment about the vibe, Athren couldn't help but smirk. It wasn't something he was aiming for but the saiyan did in fact have a point, it was a pretty damn theatrical setup, wasn't it? Regardless Athren couldn't help but reply to keep things rather light. "Completely unintentional, but when the nights in your favor. Things tend to just set themselves up for you."
Though Athren's head turned once more to Quash as he wanted to get straight to the point and Athren couldn't help but arch his right brow. It was actually a rather nice thing to get straight to the point, there wasn't any small talk or greetings required, it was all business and given that Athren was literally here on business, it couldn't have been much better than that. "Straight to the point, huh?" Athren commented before carrying on briefly. "Alright, we'll get straight to the point then. I need a little bit of assista.." Athren had cut himself off quickly when he saw Jorey appear and show himself to the pair. It had almost been too perfect, two saiyans? It was at this moment that the light began to break through the dark clouds, shining down upon them. The clouds moved across to slowly unleash the full moon upon the saiyan's below, inch by inch, it showed through more and more.
"You're not intruding on anything, in fact, you've arrived at quite the perfect time. We could use your help with something." Athren trailed off, letting the two of them get their introductions out of the way. At the moment Athren was thinking of the best method to get them to look at the full moon, he could either try to trick them into looking towards it or attempt to overpower the two of them with his demonic transformation. Either way, he needed to make sure it worked. With the two of them roaming around orange city in their great ape forms? Both the city itself and the USD base would be wiped from the Earth quickly and even if they didn't target it? He could easily finish the job on his own while they took the heat for the attack, it was honestly just lining up to be the perfect night and the perfect string of events.
While they talked, Athren would position himself so he was facing the moon and the two other saiyan's would be in between himself and the big bright orb in the sky. He'd let them talk briefly and it was at this moment he'd try to take them by surprise. "What the fuck!?" He exclaimed, raising his tone every so slightly to simulate that he was caught off guard or surprised. He lit up his aura and his demonic form had taken over, doubling his power level instantly as his purple aura had flared up around him. His eyes looked behind the two, though he ensured that he didn't glare upon the full moon himself. His right hand came up and fired a ki blast up between the two towards the moon in an effort to get them to glare upon it at best and at worst, turn their back to him.
Of course, he wasn't relying on such a petty trick to work but if it did, it would just be a massive bonus and make things so much easier. If neither of them happened to look at the moon, he believed that he could take them by surprise and force them to. If they were strong enough and managed to actually fight him off and make it a struggle, Athren's backup plan was rather quite simple. He had his weights and could remove them to increase his power dramatically and if it came to that, there was no way they'd fight him off. After all, from what he knew about them they had both been pure saiyan's. They wouldn't have a transformation to bridge the gap between their base form and Oozaru. If the two would happen to turn their backs to him as he had wanted, he'd attempt to strike the second he realized whether or not they managed to glare about the moon.
One thing was for sure, this little rooftop meeting was about to light up the whole damn planet. It all just had to go according to plan and hopefully these too unwilling participants would leave their mark the way Athren was intending. With the might of two Oozaru's roaming around and himself, he strongly believed that nothing on this planet would be able to stand up to them and nothing would even be able to slow them down. If somebody or something did manage to leave their mark, he still had his own Oozaru transformation to bust out and unlike the other two, he could control it and focus fire on whatever threat came into play. Though Athren couldn't help but wonder in the back of his mind, would the two mighty Oozaru's attack each other or would they work together to destroy everything in their path? After all, they were the same race. Surely they had the potential to see each other as allies, but they could also see each other as threats. It would be an interesting turn of events to come forth and Athren couldn't wait to see the mission unfold and finally be put to rest.

Quash was a little surprised when Athren was able to give back the same lighthearted energy. Maybe he wasn't so stone cold after all.
Just when they were about to get straight to it, a third person arrived out of nowhere. It looked like Athren knew who he was, which... he couldn't tell if it was a good or bad sign. So far, there was nothing that said anyone was up to anything out of the ordinary. Somehow though, this whole thing was just odd. Weird time of day at a weird location, and now this random guy shows up. The kicker was, judging by the tail Quash could tell that it was another saiyan. Well, at least Jorey was friendly. Least the Captain could do was return the favor. He put on a welcoming smile before introducing himself in return.
"Yeah, actually. I arrived here from Vegeta a few days ago for a mission. My name is Quash. The pleasure is all-"
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Quash felt Athren's power practically explode as he hurriedly called out... a potential threat? He hadn't sensed anything in the area, but it was not uncommon for fighters to be able to conceal their Ki. He couldn't be sure, but he had to be ready just in case. The Captain's aura immediately flared up in response, moving back to avoid the ki blast that got sent in his and Jorey's direction. He followed the trail of the ki blast to see what Athren was getting all worked up about, only see nothing.
But a big, bright, shiny full moon.
He tried to immediately look away, but it was already too late for that. He immediately froze, like he was caught in a trance. The night of a full moon? When they were all saiyans? They all had tails, they must've already known about the Oozaru transformation right? Only a complete idiot would make the mistake of choosing the highest location right next to a USD base at night during a full moon!
Unless it wasn't a mistake.
Quash tried to process what was going on, but to no avail. His thoughts screeched to a halt, and soon he could hear nothing but his own heartbeat. He could feel himself starting to slip, and everything going black. He didn't know what was going to come next. The only thing he did know was that whatever was going to happen next would definitely not be good. Mentally, he had left the building as mind went completely blank.
What took over would be a being about nothing but rage and destruction.
The saiyan's body began to stretch and grow. It was a good thing that saiyan clothes adjusted with size. His hair grew at a greatly increased rate until it covered his skin like an ape. His mouth and jaw would extend outward. Teeth would turn into fangs, and his pupils and iris disappeared, being replaced by uniform solid red color. He became so large, that the building they stood on would eventually collapse underneath his added weight. The Great Ape, now tall enough to be at eye level with the tower they were just on, beat its chest as he roared into the night. It mindlessly swung its fist, tearing down the buildings next to them. It proceeded to set its eyes on the USD base in front of it and began to slowly approach it.

By the time Jorey caught up to the other two Saiyans, there was a light beaming down upon them. The Saiyan didn't dare look up, knowing exactly what it was in the back of his mind. One wrong glimpse, and Jorey would be looking straight at the moon, unleashing his Oozaru form. That's one of the things Jorey had trouble coming to terms with: the fact that he couldn't control the raging Oozaru that dwelled inside him. He heard that most Saiyan elite were able to control that form. He didn't know whether it was from training, natural "birthright," or whatever it could possibly be. Point is, despite him not being on Planet Vegeta for too long, he'd heard stories from his family and from others around him. The Saiyan elite were supposed to be impressive, inspiring, and arrogant as all hell. Athren proved to be the only decent exception to that claim, still attaining his impressiveness while dejecting the arrogance of the elite. He wasn't sure about the inspiring part, yet. Jorey wasn't sure if this new Saiyan was a part of the elite, but he couldn't care that much for it now. The simple thought crossing his mind about controlling the Oozaru and the connection to the Saiyan elite was nothing more than that, a simple though crossing his mind. Regardless, Jorey didn't want to end up looking towards the sky, unless he wants to risk going on a rampage. He knew that he couldn't control his Oozaru form, and he could draw a lot of attention to himself. Destroying some civilization was something Jorey could care much less about, but the fact that he'd be drawing attention to himself when he would rather lay low was the thing that stood out to him the most. One thing that did surprise Jorey when he came up to the other two Saiyans was how Athren reacted. Just in time? For what, stargazing?
The lone wolf was very confused, seeing as how him and his Saiyan companions would fall victim to the moon's influences if they were to catch one glance of it. What could Athren be referring to at this point in time? Jorey made his way to the other two Saiyans and introduced himself to the one he wasn't familiar with. This other Saiyan, Quash, seemed to be pretty friendly. He smiled and introduced himself back to Jorey. This Saiyan claimed to be on a special mission from Vegeta, which prompted Jorey to believe that he was part of the military. Whatever the case, Quash obviously didn't suspect of any ill will. Great for Jorey still being able to stay under cover. Quash was in the middle of saying something, when suddenly, Athren yelled out loud, interrupting the two Saiyans. Jorey's eyes widened, surprised and concerned. What the fuck!?
Jorey's head swung straight towards Athren. Immediately, his scouter went off, showing Athren's power rising exponentially. Jorey could only wonder what it was that Athren was summoning, giving himself so much power. His aura flickered purple, and his appearance changing, Jorey could only figure that Athren underwent some sort of transformation, but how? This wasn't any Oozaru form, and this certainly wasn't any other form of the legends told by other Saiyans. What was going on? What the fuck, times two!?
Jorey was, nevertheless, confused. What could have prompted Athren to take on this appearance and boost his power? Could it be related to energy sensing? Jorey had a feeling this would come back to bite him in the end. Maybe it was an energy he wasn't able to sense, that the scouter couldn't pick up? It was infuriating, and caused Jorey to worry a bit. Athren then shot an energy blast behind Jorey and Quash, up to the air. What the fuck, times three!?
Jorey immediately looked in the direction the Ki blast was shot at, and immediately regretted it. The Saiyan locked eyes with the moon, and began to feel the Blutz Waves surging through his body, immersed in his Saiyan cells. While his body slowly underwent the Oozaru transformation, Jorey realized that this was just a trick on Athren's part to make him look at the moon. There was nothing there, nothing except that dreaded moon. He was able to only muster one phrase before the transformation really began. "Athren...you dirty...little...shi-"
Jorey began roaring as his body transformed into that of an Oozaru. The armor on his body responded in kind, whirring and beeping a bit to signify it was adjusting to Jorey's transformation. As Jorey expanded, so did his metal armor and Saiyan spandex. He then fell off the rooftop as the transformation really took hold, his black cloak flowing away in the wind. When Jorey was able to move again, he was no longer in his humanoid form. The Oozaru roared into the night sky, filling the endless void with his voice. There was no more Jorey, anymore, only chaos and destruction. Jorey charged up a beam in his mouth and fired it off, destroying a good amount of buildings that were in the beam's unfortunate path. Then, he turned around, realizing there was another Oozaru in the vicinity. How could Jorey have missed that there was another Oozaru? That was no matter. What mattered was that it was there. There being another Oozaru was a threat to Jorey's peace (if you would call it that) in this town. What that Oozaru was walking towards was also of interest. Jorey pursued the Oozaru to deal with it personally, and to find out what it was walking towards.

Though he wasn't necessarily surprised that it had all been so easy, he was on the grateful side. Both the other saiyan warriors had fell for the bait and it required absolutely nothing else from him in order to get them to look at the moon, it was so easy and they never expected a thing. Though from Jorey's final words in his own state of mind, it was evident that he had clued in at the last moment that this was absolutely intentional. Athren would have thought that these two would be out for blood the next day but Athren had planned to be gone in the earliest hours of the morning for his faction was already packing up their camp onto the ship to leave.
Though when both the warrior had glared upon the moon, Athren had leaped off the tall building they were on and relocated to a smaller rooftop below. At this point, it was his priority to remain unseen by them. Though they were mindless, they had the potential to be a threat to him. That level of strength could crush him if he wasn't careful, even if he got caught by a stray blast, he'd feel it for sure. Plus, Athren wanted to avoid transforming into the great ape himself at all costs, at this point nothing about this evening would be linked to him besides the words of the two saiyans and he wanted to keep it that way. Transforming himself into a great ape would put eyes towards him, as he had a very unique feature while in his ape form. Like his dark grey tail, his ape form had taken the exact same color. Though most of the eyes on the Earth wouldn't know where to look, anybody that had known of him from the past life would easily be able to ping him as the glorious grey great ape that attacked the Earth. It was one of his most unique features and one that would set him apart just by a glance, though it was unique it was indeed a curse. Athren couldn't have that kind of attention on him.
Now positioned on a lower rooftop behind the two mighty apes, Athren had taken a seat on the ledge and let his legs dangle down. His transformation had faded away by choice and his power level had been reduced back down to it's normal weighted level. Though Athren was at a safe distance, he would spectate the apes carefully and move his position appropriately to their own movements, he didn't need to get caught up in this whole thing, he was there to spectate and not fight and he'd do his best to do so. As the apes made their way towards the USD base, the destruction had already begun. The screams of the people on the street began as they all started to panic and run away from the terror, all vehicles began to head in the opposite direction.
With a loud crash, one of the apes had struck a building causing it to rock and tumble, large chunks of debris raining down on everyone and everything below, the other had fired a ki blast from his mouth, causing even more damage to the city. Athren knew it was a matter of time until the local police force would make their appearance, though they'd have no power against this might and just as Athren had that thought, the alarm at the USD base began to go off. They saw the creatures coming and they had been ready to fight. Though even they would fall short. The troops in the base had grabbed their weaponry, the defensive systems had activated. All automated guns had raised up from their hidden points and took aim, the soldiers lined up with their rifles pointed up towards the beasts and once they were near the gunfire would ravage the night, hundreds of rounds and explosives being shot towards the mighty apes as the defenders had hoped it would do some damage. Men and women in the service began to rush to their vehicles that were on base, their helicopters, their jets, their tanks, and anything they could use in an effort to protect themselves and the city.
Surely it would be a matter of time until news crews arrived with their helicopters or on foot if they were brave enough, though the city already had spots of fire and destruction lighting up the night sky and the screams of terror would be enough to push anybody away from the city. Though Athren wasn't happy about it, he soaked it all up, making sure his eyes never raised up to the night sky. The city sounded like it was a warzone, the guns, and the screams, it was louder than the mighty ape's roars. Women, Children, and men were all screaming and running for their lives as their home was being attacked. Athren didn't know exactly how much of the city would be destroyed but he suspected that these two would be at it all night and everything in their path would get stomped out, the base, the city, all of it. Whether or not he'd be right wouldn't be seen until the early hours of the morning when the moon would fade and the loss of life would be great.
Though as Athren sat there looking, he couldn't help but think that the saiyan race as a whole would be blamed for this. How planet Vegeta might be targeted by the Earth with some kind of consequences or how the saiyan's on the planet might be treated differently. It was a thought that had faded fast, though the consequences wouldn't affect him directly, it wasn't too much to think about. What mattered to him the most was finally fulfilling the contract and retiring, getting away from this life with his kids, and getting them to grow up a life that they'd enjoy, and that was the endgame.

Earth's forces were no match for the Oozaru's might. Rifle shots and explosives that landed did little to no effect against him. With Quash's elite saiyan power enhanced by the power of the moon, he was clearly out of their league. Glass windows shattered and the ground rumbled as he roared in response. He raised his arm and bawled his hand up into a fist before slamming it down onto the soldiers below and into the ground. A shockwave would radiate throughout the city as his fist hit the pavement, resulting in the destruction of various buildings and vehicles around him. Then, hearing the sounds of something large approaching behind him, turned around to see another Oozaru approaching him!
Nevermind the soldiers now, this was a much bigger deal! Earth's forces might've been continuing to attack, but Great Ape Quash wasn't even acknowledging the shows anymore. Seeing this as a sign of aggression and a challenge to a fight for dominance, he got ready to challenge Jorey to a fight. He did a low growl, mad that someone dared to intrude on his assault. This city was his playground and soon to be territory, and his alone. He wasn't about to let anyone else try to have any claim over his stomping grounds. When Jorey got close enough, Quash would lower himself into a squat and lunge forward. The ape's aim was to tackle the Oozaru into the ground. As he lunged, other buildings would proceed to get taken out as he moved. After all, an urban city wasn't exactly the best place for a giant monkey. Unfortunately, due to his current primitive and primal mind, he didn't have a care in the world for whoever's lives were lost during this conflict.

As Jorey walked towards the other Oozaru, he faced some opposition. Well, it was more so like ants were throwing pebbles at him, rather than legitimate opposition. There appeared to be Earthling forces shooting at Jorey with less than impressive weaponry, nothing to really make Jorey want to turn around and start defending himself. Why would he need to defend himself? In his Great Ape form, he was beyond even the Earthling's wildest imaginations in terms of power. Looking up at the flying vehicles that were sent Jorey's way, the raging Oozaru would simply swat them out of the sky as if they were just annoying flies, continuing on his merry way to the other Oozaru. It was almost a sad sight to see such pathetic forces, but it was definitely an amusing one. The Great Ape Jorey laughed while he swatted more and more flying vehicles out of the air, reveling in his power and might. Before long, Jorey realized that the other Great Ape was also dealing with the nuisances that swarmed around them. Who would dare interrupt the battlefield that these two Oozarus found themselves on? The nerve of these lowlives would not be tolerated by either of the two Saiyans. However, this would still not deter the Oozaru from pressing onward and eliminating all opposition to his reign of terror. When Jorey got close enough to the Great Ape, the opposition suddenly squatted down and lunged at Jorey, tacking him. The attack caught Jorey by surprise, and both Saiyans ended up falling to the ground, a large shockwave and crater marking their landing. The Great Ape Jorey groaned a bit, then immediately seized the other Oozaru, grabbing hold of him, and fired a Ki wave from his mouth at him from point blank range. Regardless of if the attacks landed or how much damage they did, Jorey would then attempt to kick the enemy off of him. Nothing was able to come to Jorey's mind. He doesn't even remember why he transformed into an Oozaru in the first place. The only things that were certain was the fact that Jorey existed as an Oozaru now, and he was caught in battle between some measly Earthling forces and the might of a rival Oozaru. This was all too exciting for the Great Ape Jorey. His Saiyan blood pumped more excitedly than ever before through his veins. This was a battle worth living for. He couldn't help but paint a smirk of satisfaction and excitement onto his face. He'd yearned for a fight like this all his life. The only unfortunate part about this is that Jorey would not remember it when he awoke from his Great Ape form. How truly unfortunate, yet utterly pointless to worry about. Right here, right now, was a fight. That's all he could ask for right now.

At this point Athren didn't need to move much further, he was quite a distance away from the apes and in a relatively safe zone for the moment. He knew that eventually, the apes would leave nothing left standing in the city so he'd have to move but for now, he was going to watch them from afar. Though he was entertained by the events taking place in front of him, he didn't like how they had already turned to each other. Sure, for a few moments they had swatted down some helicopters and soldiers but their attention turned to one another rather quickly and the damage to the USD base was rather limited. The city on the other hand had been taking quite a bit of damage by this point. The city had gotten louder and louder, people still screaming and sirens still blaring. The USD forces had still been trying their attempts to take down the giant apes but nothing they had could even scratch the large creatures.
Athren had watched as they began to tackle on either and engage in a fight, it was at this point that Athren was thinking of an alternative route to success for his mission. The apes had provided him with the perfect cover if they weren't to finish off the base, Athren could potentially slip in unnoticed by the defenses and wipe it out in a flurry of Ki attacks, on the other hand though that would provide the apes with another deadly target for them to strike. Whatever Athren was going to do, he'd have to think it through. The night had just begun and he had plenty of time to figure out which option he was going to go with. For now, he could observe and see which way it'd go. He could only hope that somehow they'd redirect their attention to the base itself, if they managed to wipe it out completely he could simply leave this planet behind without any extra work, the adventure here would come to an end, it'd be completely over.
Just because the moment had led him to observe, didn't mean he wasn't coming up with a plan of attack if the apes failed to do his bidding. He knew for a fact that fighting them in this form was basically asking for death, even with his demonic transformations he wouldn't compare to them at all. He'd barely manage to even leave a mark with his best attacks. It was one hell of a risk if he needed to proceed to complete the task on his own accord and his safest route was transforming into a great ape himself. He wouldn't be caught off guard by any type of ape attack that could potentially kill him, he'd be in a state where he could handle the damage output and tank through to keep on fighting. Though even in his ape form the odds were against him, his power level would be on par unless he removed his weights and he was aware of this but at the same time he knew he had the edge in the intelligence department. The two apes before him were mindless beasts, they didn't have any sense of tactical attacks or strategy, they'd simply try to take him down with all the force they had. Now even that could be overwhelming if both of them were to attack him, regardless of the skill or strategy he could put into the situation.
He thought about it, long and hard as he observed. He wasn't quite sure on what his best method of attack was here. If he did go over to the USD base as he was now or with his demon form, he even risked attracting the mighty apes from all the commotion and explosions that would be caused by his actions. Some of the fire would turn to him surely as he worked his way through some of the men and if he decided to go airborne and simply rain down fire to destroy the base, again he would be a target. There really was no easy solution to get the result that he needed.
All he knew was that it needed to be done somehow, whether or not he'd be lucky enough for the apes to pull it off or not was up to the night. That wasn't on him, the only thing he could do is take what information was provided to him throughout the events of the night and put it all together, and come out with an educated plan that he thought would suit his needs the best. For now, though, the night was still young enough to hope they'd target the base or that it would fall by the circumstances of their fight. He'd simply sit atop the roof from a safe distance, his ocean blues watching as they began to fight each other, hoping they wouldn't come towards him. Though most would be as terrified as those on the streets below, Athren retained his calm and calculated attitude. He had to remain cool and collected, he needed to take the best route to complete his mission. He didn't want to put himself in harm's way unless he absolutely had to, he wanted to pull this off as cleanly as possible and if he was lucky enough, he wouldn't even need to get his hands dirty. For now, he'd continue to wait out, watching and observing the chaos that was still being rained upon Orange City. Though he felt safe where he was, he would stay focused and engaged in their actions. He couldn't afford to die here, he wouldn't die here and he was gambling with his life. He was well aware of the risk but the reward of the promised wealth, it just sounded way too good.

The Oozaru turned his face as a reflex to Jorey's attack, a mouthful of ki hitting the side of his skull. He let out a roar of pain before he felt a weight get planted onto him that forced him off of his opponent. The ape staggered back into the buildings behind him, inadvertently causing more damage to the city that surrounded him. The ape grunted as it got up, trying to gain back his footing. He stared down the enemy as he did so, a little surprised at the power behind the attack. Still, it was going to take more than that to stop him.
While the attack certainly did some damage, it pissed him off more than anything else. It was time for Quash to return the favor. He roared again in rage, wanting to prove that he was the dominant ape around these parts. He took a step forward and did a large, backfist move towards Jorey's face. After this maneuver, he'd lift up both of his arms over his own head before bringing them both down towards Jorey's shoulders.

Jorey's attacks hitting the other Great Ape was pleasing for himself to see. The Oozaru roared and banged on his chest, in an attempt to assert his dominance against the other Saiyan. The smile on Jorey's face never faded, the evil grimace reflecting his mindset going into this battle. It was fun, he knew that entirely, but to Jorey, it felt like he had the upper hand. He felt so good about this battle being his, in fact, that he let his guard down a little bit. It's obvious you should never let your guard down in a fight. Rule number one of fight club, never tal- I mean, never let your guard down. Jorey, however, wasn't in the best state of minds, right now. Being an Oozaru takes away from a lot of his senses, and this was one of them. Which resulted in Jorey getting damaged once again, back to back. The first attack came as a back fist straight towards Jorey's face. He only got to see it last second, which was too little time for the cocky Oozaru to react to it. He was hit clean right in the face, which staggered him a bit. When he looked up at the other Great Ape again from his daze, he was already being slammed into the ground by his shoulders, both of the enemy's arms coming down with force. He staggered a little bit more on the ground, getting himself up quickly and decisively. That was the last time Jorey was going to let himself get overconfident in this fight. Now, he, too, got annoyed and pissed. The Great Ape roared again, and sent both of his fists forward, in an attempt to both push the opponent away, and to do some damage to him. Then, he charged up some Ki in his mouth, and sent out a Ki wave straight to his opponent once more. As if that wasn't enough, Jorey found that he had weapons all over the place. There were some buildings around him that looked important and also very durable. He plucked one out of the ground as if it was a fruit growing from a vine, took it in his hand, and bolted it right towards his opposition as hard and as fast as he can. He could care less about his surroundings and how important it was at the moment. All he cared about was the fight.

The surrounding chaos had continued and it had been early yet, the night's events had barely started to take their shape and the Oozaru's had barely begun to even battle each other. Their battle surely would take the entire city down and even if that didn't, the remaining ape standing would most likely be the one to do it. There was something about the night's events that brought back memories of home, of all the times he sat upon the heights near Oozaru wasteland to watch the mindless apes stomp around in an attempt for the user to gain control of the form. Destruction had followed with every step of the way, from the giant footprints in the Planet's surface to the chunks of boulders and stone removed from nearby formations only to be tossed across the landscape. This was similar to that, the way the apes had moved and grabbed whatever they could to toss and smash, how their giant steps had left craters in the city streets, they had left destruction within every single step they took and the screams hadn't stopped.
Athren sat there, still watching it all go down. He had felt absolutely no remorse for his actions, he didn't feel the pain and the suffering of the innocents below that had already lost their lives, he didn't pity those running to try to hold onto their own, he didn't care for the mothers and fathers that lost their young or the young that had now been orphaned. He disconnected himself from the loss of life, the destruction, the damage, and the pain with one simple yet deranged justification. This was for the future of his kids more so himself, they wouldn't know what had gone on this evening as they were safe and packing up the ship with the rest of the crew, they'd have no knowledge of the sins their father had committed in the name of a better life for them. Though it was dark, sadistic and deadly, it was all for them. This was a means to an end, to provide wealth and riches for his faction, to give his children the best life he could on whatever new planet they had found and settled down on, they would never have to know that it would have been paid for with the innocent blood of many. It was simple to know that Celric wouldn't have cared, he would have probably asked to be here but Cress, she had a soft spot for everybody and she would hate her father for such actions regardless of his reasoning, but this was one last time, was last mission, one last contract to see the future secured.
Maybe someday it will haunt him in his dreams, turning the most amazing dreams into his darkest nightmares, or maybe this night would just fade into the past. Compared to his past, this was the most extreme he has ever gone, for his race, for his elite status, for the might of the saiyan race, nothing compared to the moment he was in now, the actions he had put into place, the countless lives of innocents that would be lost, this was a first. His ocean blue eyes continued to scan the area, watching all those trying to flee as his glance went back to the apes from time to time. A deep sigh had escaped his lips but he didn't know why, he didn't know why the air escaped him as it did, maybe, just maybe it was a little much and he had a sense of consequences. He was once told that every action had a reaction and there was never an escape, there was never a way out when your push came to getting shoved. Regardless of that though, the moment intensified as his eyes locked onto the base, an ape breaking down another building to use as a weapon again one of it's own kind.
Their progress was happening rather slowly, he wished they'd hurry it up as he'd already be on the move. The city didn't matter, the base was the only thing that needed to fall and once that was confirmed, he'd head to the stars with everything that had mattered the most to him, with the thoughts of the few he met on this planet fading away to nothing more but a wonderful memory, his sins would surely affect how they thought of him as well. It was a brief though as there was no point lingering about it, he couldn't turn back the clock now to remove the sins, he had committed and needed to see it through, though if the mighty apes would avoid his target for a long period of time without removing it, he knew he'd need to act. He'd need to see it through quickly and effectively, get in and out before they could target him.
No matter how he played it out in his mind, he knew he'd need to make his presence known to the large creatures to muster up enough energy for a final attack on the base itself, he wouldn't be able to hide that kind of power, there would be nothing there to shield him from whatever would come his way. The base itself at this point wouldn't be a threat, they had taken a hell of a beating, those who were brave were now cowering, those who were cowering were now running and those who stayed to fight? They were just stupid. Once more, it came down to a simple fact, that when there was action there was always a reaction and in this case it could very well come from two mighty Oozaru's, as tall as the largest building, as strong as the mountains, and as deadly as anything Athren had ever known. Though the danger was there right in front of him, he knew he'd need to play it smart, he couldn't risk a foolish mistake, he needed to carry on. For himself, but more importantly for the two kids that awaited his return.

The ape reeled back in pain as the punches landed directly onto his torso, stopping him from continuing his assault. As he recovered, Quash noticed energy being built up in the form of a ball in between Jorey's jaws. Another ki attack? After being hit with one the first time, he was not too keen on being hit by another. The ape leaned to the side as the attack was launched, narrowly avoiding the blast and letting it soar into the USD base that was just behind them, causing more damage. While he was feeling a little more confident in his ability, his small victory was short lived. Before he knew it, a building crashed into his face.
The Great Ape roared in irritation as the dust and rubble entered his nostrils and eyes. He rubbed the latter with his forearm as he ripped out a building of his own. It took two to tango. Just being able to manage seeing him now, he chucked it at Jorey in retaliation. Quash would then gather ki of his own, a ball of energy forming in his right hand. He'd proceed to sling it towards Jorey's face, trying to get back on the offensive.

The opposition was starting to get keen on Jorey's tactics. The other Great Ape was able to dodge Jorey's Ki beam, but wasn't able to dodge the building he threw at him. This was going to start being a problem. If Jorey wanted to make some real progress against this enemy, he would have to change tactics a bit, other than just trying the same attacks over and over again. Of course, Jorey was also a mindless, destruction-bent giant monkey right now. How much can "tactical" really mean to Jorey, right now? How much could he actually change fighting tactics when he's this mindless? There's such a limit to how much he can actually adapt to, without being able to actually control the Oozaru form. This was something Jorey always wanted to avoid unless it was a last ditch effort to try and turn the tides of battle. Unfortunately, none of that mattered now. Jorey noticed that his opposition was trying the same tactic as him, taking a building and hurling to towards him. Swiftly, Jorey dodged the attack and watched the building fly past him, hitting some more buildings in its way. The Oozaru smiled and turned his attention back to his opponent, who threw an energy blast straight at Jorey's face. The blast knocked Jorey off balance a little bit, making him stumble and crush some buildings below his feet. Whoever's property this was, they weren't going to like getting their stuff stepped on so much by a bunch of mindless monkeys. Jorey growled a bit and returned on the offensive. He let his aura surge and leapt towards the opposing Oozaru. While he was mid-flight, he put his hands up above him and swung them down once he got to the enemy, as if he had transformed his hands into a sledgehammer and was attempting to lug the other Great Ape in the head with them.
