The wolf girl awoke with a groan and a shake of her head as she sat up in her cage, as she suddenly saw the bars and realized just what was happening before her: She had been kidnapped! Yoinked from her napping spot in the woods, dampeners slapped on her wrists and neck, and thrown into this cage like an animal! …Well, she was kind of an animal, but she wasn't an animal ALL the time! She was just a wolf girl!
"Ugh… of course. Of course kidnapping would be on today's damned docket…" Ranik groaned as she stood up in her cage, looking at the situation. It wasn't a large camp by any means, though it was sizable enough. One well placed howl could snap these dampeners with ease and she could get out. It was just a manner of figuring out how to do it properly so she could maximize the time she had to get others out of their cages as well…
"Okay, Ranik, think… what can you use to help?" She asked herself as she looked around at things. Her cage, the restraints, everything. At least they had the decency to keep her clothing on her. There was that option on the table, Ranik supposed… but only if she couldn't get the guards' attention around her cell by any other method. She began to think…. What to do, what to do….
Suddenly, it occurred to her what she could do. She suddenly began to whimper and whine, using her natural wolf instincts to sound like she was absolutely miserable, and it was doing it's handiwork well. The guards were irritated by it, as they tried their hardest to ignore Ranik… but again and again she whined as finally, all the guards got fed up at once and loaded their guns to put Ranik down!
"Alright pup, that's it! Time to put you down for your own mistake!" The lead guard exclaimed as they got close.
"Thanks for the out, boys." Ranik winked, before she howled, her ki erupting as her restraints snapped completely off, knocking the guards back harshly as Ranik leapt out of the cage like an acrobat, as she dusted her wrists off and cracked her neck, before she knelt down and snagged a key set from one of the unconscious guards as she giggled. "Too easy~" She remarked, running over to each of the cages around hers. There were many captives inside each of the cages, women, men, even some children, all of different races and ethnic groups as Ranik looked in disgust at this.
"The lengths humans will go to for things like this…" Ranik remarked as she sighed, and began her swift work, going to each cage and unlocking it easily and swiftly enough she could escort prisoners to the exit one by one. She did this work incredibly fast, using her natural speed to move from cage to cage with relative ease.
However, on the last cage, suddenly, the captain of the bandits came in, shooting a taser into Ranik as she yelped in pain, twitching and convulsing as she hit the ground, sparking and zapping as she groaned in agony, laying on the floor for a moment as she panted, trying to regain her bearings.
"What a weak ass pup. You'll be sold for a fine penny now. Back to your cage, little dog. With better restraints as well." The captain laughed, moving to cuff her again as Ranik looked up to the locked up people in the last cage, as she gained her second wind.
"Not today, bastard." Ranik growled as she kicked the guard RIGHT between his legs! His poor manhood being abused by the hefty kick as he yelled in agony, staggering backwards as he did so, before Ranik unleashed her Fury Slashes all over the captain, as the captain lay in a bloody mess on the floor after the fact. "Scumbags." Ranik growled as she unlocked the last cage, the last of the prisoners being let free as Ranik made her getaway with them, running as fast as she could.
Once she was far enough outside of camp, Ranik would look on to the city as she saw it in the distance, her tail swishing in curiosity as she did so. "...Well, looks like a place to go and check out. Guess if I can't nap in the forest all day, I'll just explore around and learn this world!" Ranik beamed with a wide smile.
The prisoners met Ranik as she was about to leave, as they gave her a collective bag filled with what money they looted off the guards, and even told Ranik one of the bags might have had a surprise in it… Ranik thanked them for their contribution, unnecessary as it was, before she dashed off for the city, ready to start her adventure in full as she did so, wondering just what might be in the bag that was so valuable they said it could have been a surprise…
What Ranik also didn't know was just how much danger the world she was exploring was in right now, and just what kinds of effects that was having in the areas around where she escaped, as she raced for the city to begin what she believed would be an adventure full of fun, activities, and figuring out what this new, weird power she had was.
One thing was definitely for certain, this was the start of a brand new adventure for this young wolf girl. An adventure that she would never have expected after waking up in this strange world after appearing from another adventure. The days of living in the forest she appeared in are over… now, like many other before her, a new journey and legacy begins. The journey and legacy of an eager wolf girl wanting to make a difference in the world, and wanting to save even more people like she did today.
