Not being able to access the Orgone Layer had been frustrating and isolating experience for the Inheritor of the Fury. Ever since first tapping into the realm in which the Fury Gods resided, and the source of most of his Furiemshinken powers, the constant sensation of being tapped into one of the very life forces of the universe had become as much a natural and normal feeling as it did to breath or see. Being cut off from it completely was strange and lonely, when it had once been normal. He felt like he was stumbling around, deaf and blind.
The cause of his being denied that connection was the foul magics that warped and twisted his mind in the service of the self-serving Majin named Liari. It wasn’t total control, he was still who had always been, holding honourable conduct above all else, but her influence had twisted his morals. He knew he could murder someone, slowly, and he wouldn’t feel even the slightest guilt or remorse in his current state. Intellectually is disgusted him knowing he could do that, even if emotionally he just didn’t care, another twisting of his normal self as a result of Liari’s control.
But it didn’t render the boy entirely deaf to Liari’s telepathic call. In fact the only limiting he was experiencing was entirely on his end, receiving telepathic messages from those outside the Orgone Layer, and had the requisite ability to send telepathic messages, was still possible. As such, Liari was easily able to tell the boy to meet her at a place of her choosing at a certain time. It wasn’t a request, but rather an order he had no choice but to respond to.
And so, the boy had flown to the meeting place as instructed, even though he loathed the idea of following her directions. It’s not like he was free to resist or refuse.
The meeting place? Gizard Wasteland.
Honestly, Liek was a little surprised. He’d half expected Liari to call him to one of the major cities to participate in a rampage and subjugation mission to aid in Arctic’s conquest of Earth. But apparently that wasn’t on the agenda today.
Whatever.
The youth alighted on an outcropping with a decent view and waited, gazing out over the wasteland.

The directions were clear. The meeting area was set. Out in a Wasteland in the middle of nowhere.... what purpose did this make? Was there a secret to more strength out here? Was there something Liari needed Opherla to find? Was there something here of importance that Opherla didn't see yet? Was this an area that Arctic wanted conquered? Opherla couldn't piece together the answers or the rationality for this as her brain was in a violent turmoil of many directions, the war with her subconscious an irritating feeling she dealt with constantly ever since she was graciously gifted by her Master that was Liari. Opherla was unsure of where this all would lead to, but, an order was an order, so be it.
She found Liek there in the Wasteland, as her heart fluttered. The one calm to her storm. The one peace speck to her darkness miasma. The one constant in her true values. Liek. Her love. Her one. Her everything. Her world. Her desire.... her motivation to become stronger. Liek was her driving force behind the violent churning of her mind. He was the center of her chaotic and spasmatic universe. Even under evil influence... the sight of him made her feel a sense of good in her heart, only by the fact he was alive, however.
Opherla would land near him and greet him with a lovely kiss to say hello. If there was one thing she loved about Liek, it's that he was alive, because he, as she had done, had knelt for Arctic. They had battled for their place. And they won. THEY WON! But that was but one battle... an entire war was still at hand. ...And there were still lives to save, even if they were unbelievers of the cause. Staying by her lover's side, Opherla scanned the horizon for Liari, all while she held Liek's hand close to her own.

Ah, wastelands... Liari hated, them. Scratchy plantlife, loose dirt kicked up by the most insignificant of breezes, air so dry that it sucked the spit right out of your mouth... Were it not for Arctic wanting to preserve this planet, more or less, the Majin would have simply taken this little meeting somewhere more temperate, somewhere more EXCITING! A city, perhaps.... or some tropical archipelago, somewhere where the only meaningful scenery for mile around WASN'T the occasional giant bug. Still, she didn't regret her alliance with the changeling, In an instant, she had gone from the weakest of the strongest to the STRONGEST THING ON THE PLANET, this time with an ally larger than herself to back her up! Sure, she may have sacrificed a bit of her freedom to do so and YES, she was now answering to someone else again buuuuut... the difference between those times and this one was that now her master was stronger than she... and the potential he had for a snack was astronomical...
...But for now, Liari had some business to attend to. While Liek and Opherla had been surprisingly loyal minions in their first outing, the Majin simply didn't feel they... fit, really. Like poorly fitted pants tugging at someone's rear end, something about their minds didn't sit well with Liari, as if there was some stubborn tick inside of them resisting Liari's mental influence. It had become so much of an annoyance over the past couple of days that many-a-mountain had met a gruesome end in the Majin's frustration... and now she had to put an end to it lest she start drawing Arctic's attention. Liari stepped out of space between Liek and Opherla like an exasperated school teacher stepping into her classroom, her hands folded behind her back, her posture upright and stiff... but the dark circles around her eyes revealed her exhaustion. She would walk forward a few steps, turn on the balls of her feet and face the pair, eyeing their Majin marks, almost tracing them with her eyes.
"Okay. Listen." Liari began, raising a hand up to rub the back of her neck. "...This whole master-servant dynamic isn't really working out. It's not so much you... as it is me." A a rare confession for someone like Liari... but even she could not deny that this was likely the case. She hadn't had much luck when it came to her minions, one outright fighting off her influence and now three she was letting go. Unlike with Kamae, however, Liari had... other intentions for these two.

Opherla’s arrival was welcome, as was the feeling of her hand in his own and the touch of her lips. Returning her kiss was as easy and natural for the boy as it was breathing. There current circumstance was a result of how much he cherished and cared for the young woman who had claimed his heart. The boy had met no less the three people who had died and come back to life, so the idea of dying wasn’t daunting to him, merely an inconvenience. That said, he knew that the woman he loved was far more anxious about dying then he was. If he had been alone during the confrontation with Arctic the boy would likely have fought to the death without hesitation.
But Opherla had been there. And so he’d chosen to kneel. To keep her safe. To protect the future they intended to forge as the leaders of the new Fury.
It was the momentary mental weakness of wanting to protect his love, but lacking the strength to do so, that allowed Liari to get a hold of his mind.
He didn’t know that Opherla was so devoted to him she would have fought to follow him to the afterlife, but he did know she wouldn’t have willingly quit the battlefield alone. And while it was inconvenient, he did love that bout her.
That said… the magic of Liari’s magic dulled his feelings for her. The ring he’d purchased with the intent of giving to the wolf-hybrid remained in his pocket, where he could feel it’s weight but couldn’t find the will to want to give it to her now. He could feel Liari’s magic adapting to his mind, seeking cracks and exploiting a lingering insecurity over whether Opherla really considered him the right choice for her. The magic had found purchase was trying to drive a wedge into the crack, and diverting his attention to his new ‘master.’
It was only his stubbornness and own familiarity with magic slowing the Mind Control’s progress. If the Majin where patient and left things well enough alone for a few months… maybe then Liek’s resistance would have broken enough for her to have full slavish control over him.
But it seemed Liari was anything was anything but patient.
“...So what do you plan to do?” The boy asked with a tone of deference that the magic demanded from him, “...Master Liari.”

Feeling the warmth coming from Liek as he received the love from Opherla and reciprocated it was a breath of fresh air to the mental turmoil going on in Opherla's own mind. Her focus and desires, for a moment, focused entirely on Liek as she clasped hands with him, as she almost felt normal again after being Majin Mind Controlled... and yet, the evil thoughts clouded and dulled her love for Liek once more, as she only kept holding his hand. A ring... she had purchased it before meeting with Arctic... it stayed in her pocket... she wondered if Liek could ever fall in love with a failure like her. A failure who needed to get power from someone else to be placed in this position: This position where she could potentially get the strongest she's ever become. Hell, she was already there, having the golden hair and visage of the legendary tales that was of the Super Saiyan.... And yet, it still wasn't enough.
In the face of Arctic, and their master, Liari, Opherla was still a weakling. Sure, before, she was but a pup. Now she could be considered a youngling perhaps, still swarmed by a wolf pack as Opherla was still unable to do anything about it... strength. Strength was the only thing that meant anything in this world. Anything in this world at all. It was what dictated the will of others. It was what decided if you lived or died day by day. It was the determining factor if you would thrive in this world, or live to serve under the rule of another despite your pathetic beliefs. For Opherla, her pathetic beliefs brought her to this state, being servant to and branded by a Majin. It was how she would have to live now... thoughts of love and ring exchanging and absolute nonsense... those were petty trifles in her mind now, despite what her subconscious thought.
That damned subconscious... if Opherla had her way, she'd snuff out that subconscious like a pesky little flame of a candle right now.
But regardless, their master had arrived... and in a surprising turn of events, she was apologizing that it was her fault that the relationship would be severed! ...Why? What possible excuse did their master have for suddenly coming out and pulling a line from what seemed to be a classic kid's cartoon show cliché one liner? 'It's not you, it's me?' What absolute nonsense!
"...You're letting us go?" Opherla asked with a raised brow in sheer disbelief. "....You must have ulterior motives for this. You, the strong among us weaklings, have mo gain in letting us go unless you have something to gain that my feeble mind can't possibly see... You are our Master, our brands pledge our servitude to you, so what is your reasoning? Why are you letting us go?" Opherla asked, completely dumbfounded by this entire revelation.

What were her motives? What was she going to do now? All very appropriate questions. After all, what were they now, if not her servants? She wondered if they craved their freedom consciously, if they actively WANTED their old identities back. What were those memories worth to them now, now that their darkness had risen to the surface? Well, Liari would see as she suppressed an evil grin that tugged at the edges of her face. She, instead, maintained a neutral expression, locking eyes with both of her minions.
"Ah, well actually, I'm just going to eat you." Liari stated, as if it were the most casual thing in the world. In an instant, the Majin would suddenly RIP in two as if an invisible pair of hands picked her up and TORE her apart! Then, from the ragged "wound," a new half-body would sprout, dividing the Majin into TWO SEPARATE BEINGS, each one staring down an individual minion! They would walk towards their prey, one towards Opherla, the other towards Liek, threatening to back them into a pair of mountains forming a jagged, pseudo-wall behind them! Arctic DID say that that they could go... but he failed to specify when or whether their safety mattered to him.
SUDDENLY, the Liari meant for Opherla would LUNGE towards the half-beastfolk, her arm SHOOTING out like a snake, her fingers curled into fists! If Opherla didn't move in time, Liari's elongated arm would CRASH right into her stomach, knuckles drilling into her belly before the arm would wrap around her waist, swinging Opherla around in the air in wild, whip-lashing loops!
As for Liek, His Liari would continue to approach him slowly, eyeing the space around him. She had more than enough of his little dimensional tricks. She was going to have to play a little smarter with him if she was going to have her way. So, a portal would open up in front of the majin, a swirling, two-dimensional door that would envelop her, causing her to disappear in an instant. ...In the next, a DOZEN portals of a similar type would open up around Liek, SHOOTING from them a thick, rock-like spear that seemed to stretch on and on like it were some sort of putty! The spears would lash at him from all angles, aiming to stick him any number of ways, all the while his Liari remaining unseen, peering over the battlefield from a small, eye-shaped portal up in the sky!
Arctic really shoulda specified what they meant to him... that little detail was really gonna come back to BITE these two!

The magic writhing it’s way through the boy’s mind reacted to Liari’s words in a very direct and clear way, feeding it’s instructions to the boy without any misdirection or subtlety. The instructions where direct and to the point, accept his Master’s will, do as she demands and allow her to consume him. Become a part of her essence, to share with her all he knew and the powers he wielded, and grow her power even further beyond it’s current limitations. It was his place, his duty, to accept the will of his Master and adhere to her desires.
But such instructions clashed against the Honour bound duty the Fury raised hybrid had already shouldered. He was granted the title of Knight Lord of the Fury and crowned as their Prince by the very Gods who patronised the Fury of old. All those who existed under the umbrella of the Fury where his to lead and protect. There in lay the first flaw in the magic’s attempts to manipulate him; by sharing his knowledge with Liari he knew he would be placing all those he was duty bound to protect in direct danger. Surely Liari would inform Arctic of all the Saiyans taking refuge on the Gau-la-Furia, a menace the boy knew wanted to exterminate all Saiyans.
The instructions also clashed with the Demon Within. Although not a full consciousness with a personality of it’s own, it did represent an entire half of the boy he had spent years repressing and denying. A side that had once raged and lashed out at every opportunity. However, ever since embracing this once denied side of himself the Demon had settled down, no longer adversarial to the primary identity. Slowly but surely the ground work had been laid in the boy’s mind for true reconciliation between his different sides and some day Liek and his inner Demon would fully merge, but for now the two remained separate, but working towards shared goals.
To the Demon Within Liari’s magic was no different to it’s years of repression and imprisonment within Liek’s mind, causing it to instinctively lash out and rebel against it’s influence. Liek remained largely himself mostly because of this subconscious resistance. Not nearly enough to throw off the yoke, but enough to retain his will.
As such, even as the magic told him to submit to his Master and allow her to consume him he refused to allow it. As soon as he saw Liari split in two and the half on his side disappear into a portal his defensive instincts kicked in. While he was aware of the other half attacking Opherla he had faith she could handle herself, after all, a technique like Liari was using to divide herself like this had to have a price. Most likely dividing her power.
The moment the boy caught sight of the first mini-portal he braced, when he sensed the second from another angle he grit his teeth. As the first spears thrust at him he Folded away, appearing a short distance away, far enough for Opherla to have room to cut loose, and his power surged! In an instant his muscles bulked and his hair turned golden and spiked wildly. The irises of his eyes vanished as wedges of molten red material under his eyes.
He didn’t attack yet, instead focusing on trying to seek out and lock down his half of Liari’s location.

A large portion of Opherla wanted to obey the seeming command that Liari had for her, to allow her to become consumed so Liari could become powerful enough to make this world her own. For Arctic to be subverted by a Majin overlord. For LIARI to rule this world, not a pathetic changeling who cared for his soldiers enough to allow them to set up camp so freely. Opherla had very stout rejections to serving Arctic, even as she was under the influence of Liari's Mind Control, and to serve her Master, to give her powers up for Liari to use, that was very appealing to her....
Until the subconscious finally slapped her into a reality check. Stupid wolf, what were you doing!? Why did you accept this in the first place!? You accepted this in the first place... because you wanted POWER. You wanted STRENGTH. Not because you wanted LIARI to have strength, but for YOU to have Strength! And right here, right now, Liari was denying you that! Liari WANTS to deny you that! She gave you power to take it right back and use for her own gain!
This point made the mind controlled wolf angry. For once in this entire mental struggle, her subconscious had a damn point! All she wanted was strength! To become stronger! Stronger, stronger, STRONGER! And not long after granting her wish, her master was going to take that away from her!? Unacceptable! It was no wonder Liari spoke the words she did when she first arrived. It was her. It was ALL her. It was her desires in the end, not Liek's, not Opherla's, HERS! HERS, HERS, HERS! What a selfish, impudent, prudent, and childish Master this was! A Master like this shouldn't be breathing! No, a Master like this deserved to be buried, buried under rubble and left for ash and death to consume in fullness of totality! ...Fullness of totality? That's a new one, Opherla...
Refocusing on the foe before her, Opherla watched Liari split in half as she focused, ready to fight Liari.... ready to wrench her soul back from this Majin's grip and make her own path to strength, as she watched the stretchy arm get closer, before Opherla simply weaved to the side, and sliced the wrist right off her arm!
"Oops. Sorry Master. I just cut off your arm." Opherla apologized. "Here, I'll give it back, wrapped neatly just for you." Opherla remarked, putting it into an Orgone Crystal and throwing it at her Liari's face, completely unaware her good self had tried this once before, and it failed miserably for her, but regardless of what the success was with this attempted attack from Opherla, she would rush harshly at Liari to start absolutely start bashing her over and over again with punches and kicks, before she leapt back from her assault and launched a red ki beam from a singular hand to repel Liari as she descended, keeping her senses open so she could find Liari, wherever she might have gone off to.

Liek blinking away was hardly a surprise for the Majin as, between the two of them, the boy was by far the least aggressive. The spears Liari had sent after Liek SLAMMED simultaneously where the halfling had once been, only for THREE MORE to branch out of the necks of each of the originals, ARCHING after Liek where HE had appeared! Still, Liari remained in hiding, her energy suppressed down to near-zero as she blended into her environment. She had disappeared into the ground itself, shifting her shape to be reminiscent of the sandy ground, slithering towards Liek as her color changed continuously to keep up her camouflage. Every time Liek would blink away, more and more spears would cascade down upon his position, seeming to move faster and faster as the Majin would begin to predict his movement patterns. Liari had more brains, more EXPERIENCED brains, SMARTER brains working for her than Liek did in his noodle, Callion, Ayu, Zak's little compatriot, Zero, all of them feeding her information on Liek's potential reappearance-positions! All the while the Majin herself, compressed into a flat, flounder-like shape, would slither after Liek, disappearing and reappearing in time with him so that he was never too far away.
With Opherla, she was a little more... direct. When Liari's arm ARCHED towards Opherla, she simply sidestepped it and lopped it off! ...This clone of the Majin actually gasped, surprised at the EASE the halfblood managed to DISARM her! She then encased it in a crystal and hurled it right back! Liari simply... sidestepped it as well, regrowing her arm in an instant as Opherla came at her swinging! At first, Liari humored her, allowing the little girl to beat on her relentlessly, pounding into her rubbery flesh as if she were trying to mash her into mochi! ...But then, as Liari started defending herself, slowly blocking more and more of Opherla's punches, throwing her own faster, and harder, more accurately and with more control, the tables would turn radically as Liari STOLE back the dominant position! Opherla threw a PUNCH at the Majin's face only for teeth to CLAMP down upon it, Liari OPENING her mouth and BITING down on the wolf-girl's knuckles! She would WRENCH back hard, taking Opherla for a ride, THROWING her UP and OVER onto the ground opposite of her position!
"Boring." Liari grunted, releasing Opherla's hand, instead bringing her own hand up to Opherla's face, a deep pink energy-sphere swelling against her cheek! If Opherla didn't get out of the way in time, Liari would FIRE point-blank, encompassing Opherla in a swelling pillar of pink and red energy!

The Majin’s tactics where so antithetical to Liek the sheer revulsion he felt began to clash with the magic trying to bind his mind. Such underhanded, cowardly tactics, hiding her presence and striking from the proverbial shadows couldn’t have been any further from the respectful and honourable conduct the youth had been raised to hold himself too. The clash of his Knightly spirit and the sinister magic showed visibly in the form of the mark on his forehead sparking and parts of it turning red as if over heating, as if both the boy and the mark where actively rejecting one another.
Not enough to free himself, but enough to clear some of the clouds from his mind.
It didn’t cross the divide in strength, however.
The boy barely had any time to react after Folding, finding spikes in hot pursuit almost as quickly as he had moved. He could sense the copy fighting Opherla, but the one he’d been focusing on had hidden herself and her energy so thoroughly she was beyond his senses to locate. He didn’t immediately attempt to evade this set of spikes, instead forming a crude sword of Orgone and trying to deflect the spikes with limited success; deflecting one spike, which also shattered the sword on impact, while the other two spikes cut him across his cheek and opposite hip.
He would Fold a few more times but would quickly realise that the spikes where growing faster and faster, at least for a while. Whenever he broke up his rhythm and warped somewhere that would otherwise make no sense the spears would head off in the wrong direction for a moment. That meant she was predicting his movements through probabilities. Given what he knew of the Majin’s personality and abilities, this wasn’t likely to be a native skill of Liari’s, at least that was Liek’s impression. Liari was too impatient and impulsive. More likely it was the result of absorbtions. Not that Liek knew how many Liari had absorbed, only Ayu and Gemini. And with how clever and cunning those two could be it certainly explained what he was experiencing.
Through his attempts to evade the spikes he was struck by three more barrages, for a total of nine additional hits, which he barely managed to mitigate into glance or indirect hits with some serious quick thinking, using the recoil of ki blasts to move quicker. Gritting his teeth in frustration he decided to do something he doubted Liari would think he had the gall to do…
He Folded over to the Liari fighting Opherla and formed another sword out of Organite, this one looking more refined and sturdier then the previous one, swinging it at the Majin’s neck while sending a telepathic message to Opherla, ‘Mine’s hiding. Can you sniff her out?’ He wasn’t expecting to do any serious damage to the Majin, more just knock her off balance a little and buy Opherla a moment’s breathing room.

Opherla might have gone in over her head a bit....
...
Scratch that she TOTALLY went in over her head. What was she thinking!? This was Liari she was battling with! The Majin wasn't just gonna treat this fight as if it was just a casual match! She was out for blood, and Opherla had let herself get into that! Opherla would be thrown like a ragdoll, hitting the earth as she watched Liari's hand charge up, eyes widening before she saw Liek getting ready to attack. All the more reason to get herself out of the way as she poofed into a plushie that Liari would DECIMATE quickly, before Opherla would be beyond the battle with Liek and Liari when suddenly, Liek's words rang in her mind... his was hiding... that must have meant that his clone was gone. Maybe to a Power Level design of things... but Opherla was a wolf.
And wolves have GREAT noses.
Starting to put it to work, Opherla slowly floated away from the fight, sniff sniffing the air and moseying around, looking for the signs of the scent of a blue blobby Majin Girl with a superiority complex. The Majin Mark on her head got red hot, indicating to Opherla she was still in control, as if it was trying to tell her to just stay still and let Liari kill her, eat her, make her stronger!
That just wasn't what Opherla felt like today. After all, strength was what was important in this moment to Opherla, and to get stronger, dying was not an option. Finally, her sniffer would pick up on the scent of the blue bubblegum Majin, who honestly did smell like blue bubblegum... weird. Regardless, sniffing her out precisely, Opherla would look down at the very dirt she would be attempting to hide in, as Opherla drew back her arms, firing a Kamehameha right for the ground to decimate that blobby mess! Opherla poured a lot of power into the Kamehameha, as the very beam became red with intensity, almost like a X10 Kamehameha, but mo where near that level of strong. Opherla kept pouring it down, and if that clone would move? Well Opherla would just keep following it wouldn't she?

As usual, Liek was by far the most annoying out of the two. He ducked and wove around the rocky spears, blocking what he could and NARROWLY avoiding impalement when it came to the rest. He was smart enough not to try and rush down Liari who could throttle him before he could take a breath, instead focusing on just trying to survive. She could respect that, Liari supposed. His kit was a lot like hers in this case, able to play the long game by dipping between points in space, using magic to get the edge up on the incoming attack where ki would prove fruitless. A single red iris stared out from the shadow of a nearby mountain, its glow so dim, one would have to be staring at that spot to even notice its presence. It observed Liek like a dark beholder, tracking his movements as he desperately shifted to avoid certain death.
Opherla, meanwhile, was getting destroyed. For all of her ferociousness, for all of her determination to LIVE, it really meant nothing in the face of overwhelming power. The poor girl was beaten to a pulp in a matter of moments, three or four of the Majin's punches landing where only ONE of Opherla's was allowed. In a matter of moments, a pink ball of ki was pressed against the half-breed's face, mere half-seconds from going off... before she suddenly disappeared, her visage blinking out of existence right as Liari's ki leveled the spot where she'd stood!
"Team work. Finally." She sighed, rolling her eyes. Liek would appear at the Majin's side and, in an instant, Liari would FLICK up a pair of fingers, vines SHOOTING OUT OF THE GROUND AROUND HER FEET AND CATCHING LIEK'S SWORD... but that wasn't all! They would arch up around him as well, intertwining around the boy and squeezing him intensely, threatening to crack his ribs! The Majin would look over at Liek with mild disappointment.
"A sword? Really?" Liari asked, reaching out and SNATCHING the blade from him. The instant her fingers came into contact with the blade, it would rapidly transform into Liari's own devilish sword, its edge suddenly turning on him! Liari would point the tip of the weapon under Liek's chin, lightly poking into his flesh. "Haven't you figured out that these things don't work on me yet?"
...Then the Majin twitched, feeling Opherla BLAST AWAY the goop that had been trailing Liek. Huh. That was irritating. The eye that spied on the act would slowly regenerate the body it had lost, reforming into a new Majin that would step out of the shadows near to the halfbreed.
"Awh, you ruined my surprise." The second clone whined mockingly... before backhanding Opherla across the face and back towards Liek! If the attack connected, another vine would shoot out and LOCK around the half-saiyan's throat and hang her suspended above the ground!

Liek grunted as the vines bound him, while he wasn’t all that familiar with the woman he could recognise that this technique had Ayu written all over it. The arboreal limbs wound and twisted, restricting his movements and prying his sword from his grasp. He could feel them pressing around his chest, making it harder to breath and making his ribs creak with the pressure. Despite his perilous position he didn’t give the Majin the satisfaction of showing anything like fear, instead he returned her gaze defiantly as he gasped out, “They won’t… kill you…” He grunted, “But… they do… slow you down!”
Not a lot, but it Liari couldn’t regrow limbs instantly, even a fraction of a second to regrow a limb was still a fraction of a second of time bought. Silver linings and all that.
He writhed in the vines for a moment and growled, his solid white eyes glancing down at the blade against his neck, “But really, ‘Master’? Is this... all you really are?” The noise that came from his lips next was as much a choking sound as it was a laugh before he continued, “Stolen techniques... and stolen power?” If he had pupils in this form they would have narrowed, “Even if you kill us here... can you really call the victory your own… or is it all because you are riding the coattails of those... whose power you stole?”
“Small wonder you can’t truly enslave us.” He gasped out as the vines, and their restriction of his breathing, seeming to come closer to overwhelming him. And then he vanished, Folding out of the grip of the vines, replaced by a large Orgone Crystal in his shape, which promptly exploded. At that same moment six Broken Arm crystals began buzzing around, five swarming the sword wielding copy of Liari while the sixth rammed the vine aiming to grab Opherla in an attempt to stop it.
Liek revealed his position, high in the air, in that moment as he unleashed as roar and surged his energy, sending a cloud of tiny orgone crystals spreading out all around him. His aim with this was simple, to cover the entire area with a light haze made of Orgone crystals. It wouldn’t obscure anyone’s vision or senses in anyway, but it would allow him greater flexibility in his attacks. Something Liari likely well remembered.

Opherla was already fed up of being treated like a rag doll. But what could she do to truly stop it from happening? Liari's overwhelming power was taking both Liek and her to her limits and past them, while Opherla was trying to now fight for her freedom, despite the Majin mark on her head glowing even hotter to tell her to stop resisting and just lay down and die! Opherla wasn't going to listen to it, not when the one controlling her was bashing her all over the place instead of being a true Master. She had figured her beam wouldn't do much to the Majin, since she reformed so quickly, but Opherla would be smacked back as she hurtled through the air, before the vines wrapped around her neck, beginning to choke her as she gasped and tried to breathe, as Opherla clutched and scratched at the vine trying to get free, but Liari had an iron grip on her with the vines. Opherla gasped and choked, trying to find her way out, trying to escape from the clutches of the vine but it was hopeless....
Hopeless... that all too familiar feeling that dwelt in Opherla for years and years... even with this strength, even with this power, it had returned... and it was just as choking as what was physically being done for her, Opherla's arms began to slow in their progress, her feet began to dangle, her face began to turn blue and other sorts of colors as her emotions ran rampant. It was a mix of fear, panic, sadness, and regret all in one, as Opherla grasped and tried and tried and tried.... ....But alas... she felt herself starting to go blank, starting to black out....
When the Orgone Crystal did its work. It cut the vine off as Opherla inhaled, taking in a bunch of air she lost as she tossed the loose vines off her neck. Liek had saved her... ...Liek was saving her more than she was saving Liek. It was a bit tragic, really. Opherla quickly regained her bearings as she vanished to evade any other attacks from Liari, as Opherla's eyes narrowed, trying to come up with a strategy to win... and to be honest, she had none. Liari was far too strong for them to beat, even with their new power. So how could they pull it off? How in the HELL could they win!?
....It was hopeless. Wasn't it?
....Liek was still fighting for every inch he could muster. And even insulting Liari to boot.
If he had such a fighting spirit left in him, then who was Opherla to sit there and let him hog it all? She would proceed to fire off Wolffire Raze, catching both clones with the initial spread shot of ki blasts, before the suspended ki blasts would then close in on the clones, exploding on them both as Opherla would prepare herself for whatever Liari had prepared next, as Liek's determination to resist was a direct influence on Opherla's.

These two continued to make the mistake of NOT HELPING ONE ANOTHER. What, did they think THEY were the protagonists of this little story, that THEY, individually, would do the dead and defeat the mighty dragon? How idiotic. They thought like children. Fully grown adult warriors with blood on their hands and they still had a dreadful case of main-character syndrome. The Majin stared at them through two sets of eyes, disgusted with her "minions." How had they survived this long as a pair? SURE, they both had their own Majin to fight but it was like they weren't even TRYING to regroup or formulate a strategy. They were determined, so it seemed, to do all of this themselves. Each little decision they made was a shovel's worth of dirt put towards digging their own graves. She was curious if they knew that or were simply ignorant to their poor combat tactics.
Only time would tell.
"Liek. You are the biggest disappointment I've ever had the displeasure of investing my time towards." Liari stated flatly, the boy's little insults rolling off her back. "You don't learn. You attack me with SWORDS, you waste time with taunts... What is this childish crap?" The Majin squeezed Liek tighter and tighter, REALLY testing the strength of his skeleton at this point. "I am EVIL, you fool. YOU are evil. What is with this moral high-ground garbage you're spewing? Do you know what you're fighting for? Do you even care?" The Majin stared at him intensely, her words stained with disdain. "Who do you think I am? 'Will this victory be my own...' I'm not you, you insipid excuse for a flesh-bag. I am don't CARE where my power comes from. I'll eat your FAMILY if it means I get stronger! How many different ways do I have to spell it out for you that my pride isn't contingent on some backwards sense of honor?"
Liek would attempt to take one more jab at Liari who merely scoffed.
"Please. You're worthless." Liari snorted. "You fight like some kind of robot with its screws loose. You act like you WANT to die, attacking me alone and with no thought put into it beyond the basics. You and your kind DESERVE to die, if not as cannon fodder, then as a snack for me. It's no wonder you broke free when I let you GO. Do you finally get it, yet?" She tapped her head with her finger for emphasis. She then muttered under her breath. "Sometimes I wonder if you're this stupid on purpose or its actually ingrained that deep..."
It would be at this point that Liek would attempt to break free, bursting out from his vine-y restraints and doing the same for Opherla! He would then take to the sky in a cloud of his little crystal things, the Majin only staring up at him, bored.
"...I'm waiting." She muttered. "...If you don't start taking this seriously, I'm going to pop both of your heads."
As for the second clone, It just watched on with mild amusement as Opherla came to realize the extent of her situation. It really WAS hopeless for them. All Liek and she could do was choose how their story ended. With her newfound freedom, the Saiyan-hybrid would attempt, seemingly, to cover for Liek's rapid ascent, doing something uncharacteristically (up until this point) strategic and attack both Majin at once! The one before Opherla merely smirked, snapping her fingers and THICK thorny vines enveloped both clones. The explosions harmlessly POPPED around the magic-infused shell Liari had constructed, the vines sinking back into the ground the moment safety was assured.
"THERE." The non-sword-clone declared, clapping her hands and pointing at Opherla. "FINALLY, some kind of intelligence. You surprised me, Opherla. I thought it'd come from Liek."
