Opherla stayed on the outskirts of South City, as she had one firm intention the entire time she stood far from the city and near an open area away from it. There was one person she needed to run into. One person she HOPED she ran into during this point in time, and one person she had questions she needed to ask to, even after the fact they sparred on friendlier terms so long ago. Opherla was waiting for a certain blue skinned warrior. A certain female warrior she needed to make sure would have Earth's interests in mind, and not her own.
Opherla was waiting for Liari. For months, Liari plagued Opherla after what she did in South City in Opherla's own mind, nightmare after nightmare the source was always Liari. Opherla was going to defeat that nightmare today, perhaps not defeat Liari, but defeat her own fears as she waited for the massive power level to approach that would be Liari. Surely enough, Opherla could feel the power approaching from afar, as she nodded. It was time for her to draw in the blue Majin. Taking off her jacket, feeling that it wouldn't be needed anymore from how strong she had become, she tossed it down, letting Liari feel the massive power Opherla was emitting from below. The Majin would be sure to come down. Opherla may not be strong as her, but one thing would surely be clear once she arrived: Opherla was MUCH stronger than she had been when they last met. And if nothing else, Opherla wanted to ask Liari a few questions on her mind before they began, because if there was one thing the Lycan Saiyan needed to know, it was if Liari had actually, truly, changed.

Opherla had sensed the Majin's approach... because Liari was taking her sweet time getting their. It had been a little while since she actually FLEW herself anywhere so why not make a detour or two? Why not snipe at the occasional rock-face or blast threw country-sized cloud formations? She didn't have anything to so other than wait for Arctic to appear. Opherla had challenged her in every way but verbally, letting her power loose like a beacon to draw in Liari. This energy was... vaguely familiar. Maybe she had even felt it at one point... She couldn't really remember. Maybe this person, whoever she was, was related to someone she ate!
When Liari arrived after a GENEROUS amount of time, she was shocked to find that she was back at South City, the place she had nearly destroyed during one of her rampages... and standing between her and it like some kind of gatekeeper... was a girl. Liari stared down at her more seriously, almost CERTAIN they had met before. ...Where was it... Where WAS IT!? Was it here, in this City? Or was it before all that when she was small? She couldn't be certain... she didn't KNOW... and it annoyed her to no end. Liari would drop out of the sky, preform a deft front-flip and land right in front of Opherla, the Majin looking her all up and down. She... KINDA looked tough, she guessed. This stranger's power implied this as well, though it wasn't anything to ride home about. ...And that face... She leaned in close, almost nose-to-nose with the woman, her silver eyes staring into Opherla's intensely! ...She HAD seen her before... Yeeeeees... She was one of those that was getting in the way when she was stomping around the city, wasn't she? Flashes of memory zipped through the Majin's mind as she recognized the girl! BOY, had she gone through a transformation or three! She almost didn't look the same as before!
"So... What do you want?" Liari questioned, still in Opherla's face! At this point, it was a power-move more than it was an attempt at recognition! "If you wanted to fight, you coulda chosen a better place. One stray blast and..." Liari whistled, her finger tracing a line downwards as if simulating a falling bomb before she made a noise with her mouth copying the sound of an explosion! Liari's eyes drifted over Opherla's shoulder, staring at the city behind her. "...And I really don't need something stupid happening around me right now."

Opherla stared in Liari's eyes with no wavering in her own. Lunar blue eyes staring into silver eyes as the Lycan and the Majin stared each other down for a good amount of time, as Opherla's eyes looked to South City when Liari pointed to it, as Opherla looked back at her.
"So you do remember." Opherla stated. "That saves me time on a lot of things... I just have one question for you... have you changed since then? You can see the change in me. I just want to know if you've actually changed as well."
Regardless of the answer, Opherla would look out at the large landscape she picked out just outside of South City, as yes, the city could be seen, if they kept it to just firing at each other, the city should be fine. Opherla would soon let her lunar aura flare as she looked at Liari with a determined gaze.
"In the end, you know why I'm really here. Same as you. We need to train. So we can be strong enough to kill Arctic." Opherla declared as she looked at Liari expectantly. "So what do you say, Liari. Shall we go a few rounds?" Opherla asked, hoping Liari's answer would be what she hoped it to be, and knowing the blue Majin in front of her, she figured it would likely be a big "YES" to her offer, and Opherla was more than happy to deliver on it, as her aura flared.
"If you're worried about the city, we can move farther away from it here in this expanse of open area." Opherla stated, as she moved to get away from the city further, looking to see if Liari would follow, before taking her battle stance the moment Liari would be ready to fight, ready to test herself against the woman who plagued her nightmares for months.
Can Opherla stand in the face of death? Yes. She was standing in the face of it right now, knowing Liari had full control of whether she wanted to kill Opherla, or help her train.

Liari cocked her head to the side. "Changed?" What did she mean by that? Since South City? Why did she even care? Liari looked at the half-breed oddly as if she asked how many fingers she was holding up... with no hands held up.
"Eh... Not really...?" Liari quipped, nonchalant. "If you're trying to ask if I'm like you goody-goodies now, you're out of your mind. Seriously. Get that noodle examined." The Majin pointed at her head then lightly twirled it in circles in a "cuckoo" motion. "...And yeah, I want to train for Arctic, are you nuts? That man is wiping out planets like it was his birthright. He needs to die before I can do what I want... But I'm sure you got the spiel from Callion already." Opherla then offered herself as Liari's training dummy- SPARRING PARTNER, even going as far as to offer to move their fight elsewhere for fear of IMMENSE collateral damage!
...As much fun as it would be to turn Opherla into city killer-by-proxy, she really didn't need to make more enemies when someone like Arctic was floating around... It wouldn't stop her from mocking the poor girl, though. And why not? Acting all high-and-mighty, asking if she's CHANGED as if she'd do it for HER or something.
"Eeeeeeh... I dunno. You look kinda weak." Liari commented, taking a jab at Opherla's strength! "I already beat the bricks off that Liek-guy and he was about as strong as you so...." She shrugged her shoulders... but she didn't object. Rather quickly, the two fighters would hop on over to a pretty empty piece of farmland just beyond a small mountain range. In fact, it looked as if they had entered some kind of valley, giving them both pretty decent visual indicators of where the boundaries of their fight were! Liari would do some light stretches, crossing her arms over her chest one after the other, bending down to touch her toes, stretching her neck... the works. She wasn't really in any hurry to engage Opherla... not while she seemed so anxious to prove something. Opherla CLAIMED that this was all for the sake of defeating Arctic but Liari herself wasn't so sure. It seemed to her like something else was afoot, some other reason she was calling her like that.
...Hell if she knew what it was, though.

Opherla had expected this sort of reaction from Liari. I mean, after all, she just made the boldened claim that she wasn't a goodie two shoes. And Opherla knew that. Liari wasn't a goodie two shoes. Opherla wasn't a goodie two shoes either. She knew better than to think Liari had changed for the better. Perhaps the sparring match between her, Liari, and Moire was just for show. It wasn't who Liari truly was. Cracking her neck, Opherla took a deep breath and let her aura flare, as she heard that Liari had beaten up Liek before coming to face her. Opherla wasn't going to let that deter her one bit, as even though, deep down, she felt a rage boil after knowing Liari had beaten up Liek, she couldn't let that rule her here and now.
"You think I believe anyone is a goodie two shoes? That's the biggest joke I've ever heard." Opherla remarked. "The only person in this world that could qualify for that is your little girl Terra, and that's because she's still pure and innocent. The rest of us all have issues. Darkness. Anger. None of us are true "goody-two shoes", Liari. The fact you asked me if I believed you were, honestly, is a bit revolting." Opherla remarked. "We all have darkness in our hearts. It's up to us whether we indulge in them, or resist them."
Opherla soon took her stance. "But you didn't come here to hear a lecture. You came to train. So did I. So, let's train." Opherla declared, before forming Orgone crystals and firing them at Liari from multiple directions to try and hit her, as Opherla would use those crystals to find her opening for a new technique she was working on, and knew full well she could test it out on Liari. Her malleable body was a perfect target for Opherla's technique. That is, if Liari would let her hit this.
If Liari would allow Opherla to use it, Opherla's claws would extend with red ki surrounding them, as Opherla would savagely assault Liari with rapid claw slashes, the claw slashes leaving behind marks on Liari's body if Liari would be hit by any of them, before Opherla would find her opening and actually LATCH onto Liari, before BITING her in the shoulder, multiple times in her one shoulder as that left ki marks as well should Liari allow it, before Opherla would kick herself off of Liari, as the ki residue left on Liari would explode, if any, in a fierce red ki explosion to attempt to damage the Majin woman.

"Oh, please. Shut up." Liari sighed, rolling her eyes. What was WITH all this theatrical indignation? What, did Opherla see herself as the protagonist of her little story or something, making speeches to all the bad guys like she was doing it for an audience? OF COURSE OPHERLA WASN'T A PURE GOODY-GOODY! Hell, the stern look she was giving the Majin was proof enough that there was at least ONE demon hidden in there! "You can complain about your terrible bowels to someone else and you can consult a therapist about whatever 'darkness' you have inside. I don't care. Just throw a punch and hit me already."
Gods, she sounded like CALLION! She wondered if that monk-monkey had been giving lessons to this lady in both martial-arts AND Shakespearean speeches. Hell, Liari was practically expecting Opherla to lament how the light and darkness in the universe was unbalanced and that Liari needed to reach inside and find her true self or some such nonsense. Was it normal, when someone reached a certain level of power, for that person to suddenly get a taste for long-winded metaphor-infused spiels? If Liari were to make a sigh large enough to express her true discontent with this growing trend of behavior, she would have to bulge out her chest TWICE THE SIZE in order to intake enough air! When was she going to meet someone that spoke like a normal person? When was she going to find someone that was both POWERFUL... and TO THE POINT!?
...At this point, Liari would have been content to just have a conversation with the guy.
All that was for later, though. For now, Opherla would suddenly sprout claws and lunge at the Majin, slicing and dicing her up with her nails into fine little shapes, leaving behind ki-trails between them! She would then kick off of the untouched lower-body just as the ki-exploded, splattering little fleshy chunks, all seared well-done, across the battlefield. The pieces would slither away rather quickly, ducking into cracks and holes along the environment... before the air beside Opherla would begin to distort! Suddenly, a hand would SHOOT out and grab Opherla's face, pulling her into an uppercut to her stomach from a second manifesting hand! Suddenly, Liari's upper body, fully regenerated, would hover out of the air-space beside the half-Saiyan, the lower-body zipping up and reattaching!
"Well, that was... something." Liari commented before reverse-roundhouse kicking her across the landscape. "...But it wasn't really inspired, was it?" Liari would then elongate her arm, aiming to grab Opherla by her arm and SWING UP... then DOWN, smashing her into the ground like a mallet! "Try harder, would ya?"

As Opherla found her attack blowing Liari to chunks and pieces, Opherla pretty much knew this was going to be how the fight went the moment she was clocked in the nose by her fist then dragged into another one as that would have stunned her fine enough, but then found herself kicked along by Liari as she rolled across the field, before finding herself grabbed by Liari. Normally, her attack would have hit, but Opherla had other ideas, deciding to see... if she could make this fun. If both sides could have fun with this, then maybe Liari wouldn't be a nightmare anymore to Opherla, as she suddenly cut Liari's arm off and landed, before prying her hand off her foot and holding it up.
"Oh! Liari! Look! I got your haaaand~!" Opherla teased as she waved it in the air, hoping this would start a nice little fun time between the two of them, even if Opherla would lose in the end, she wanted to at least try to be amicable with Liari while she could. It was all part of trying to make sure Liari had as much fun as Opherla did even if Opherla would get knocked around a lot. "Here, want it back?" Opherla asked, soon encasing it in an Orgone Crystal. "Catch it then!" Opherla smiled as she tossed the Orgone Crystal with Liari's hand inside back at her. If Liari would catch it, the Orgone Crystal would explode. Her hand would be fine, sure, but it would at least be comical. If she didn't, the crystal would explode anyways in comical blue goop as Liari's hand would no longer be solid, but a jelly liquid as it would be splattered all over the ground.
"Man, you should have caught it!" Opherla would pout if Liari opted not to catch her own hand, before Opherla shrugged. "Oh right, you can grow a new one. So I guess that was all pointless." Opherla laughed, before she summoned a large array of Orgone Crystals. "Oh well, here we go again." Opherla remarked as she shot forward the Crystals in a Broken Arm formation, as Opherla moved with them, keeping her movement rapid and unpredictable along with the crystals, moving near and far from them to keep Liari guessing as they got closer and closer to her to start smacking her around for a change! ...Okay, probably not, but hey, it was worth a shot, right?

What was UP with people today? Did they not understand the situation they were in? When Liari moved to SLAM Opherla into the ground, the movement was interrupted... by a vague slicing-feeling through her arm. Liari blinked as she swung her arms down, revealing not only a missing half-breed... but a missing arm as well! Liari stared at the stump half in disbelief... and half with a bemused grimace. The disrespect sat about as well with Liari as rancid milk did with most other races. Where did these little punks get off thinking they could treat her this way? What, were they the callow sort that believed because they got a LITTLE bit of power, they're suddenly able to look down on their monsters!?
...Well, Liari had news for them: She was still here... and she was still TERRIFYING.
The first clue that something was wrong was that Liari did not respond when Opherla wiggled her severed arm at her. The Majin only stared, icy silent, her eyes flickering from red... to white. Opherla would then send the arm over, encased in some material but when Liari reached out to take it... she was suddenly ENVELOPED IN ENERGY! A massive explosion went off in Liari's face, the un-cut side of her body, the one she reached out for the crystal with, reduced to blue, runny sludge! Liari's good eye glared icily at Opherla as her form reconstructed itself, loose flesh and body-parts reattaching and snapping back into place in an instant. The Majin's took in a deep breath... and let it out in a vocal sigh... If Opherla could sense it... LIARI'S POWER HAD SUDDENLY ROSE TO PASSED 7-MILLION! There was no destructive energy-surge, no sudden EXPLOSION OF POWER... but perhaps it was the silence of that sudden energy-spike that was the most fear-inducing! To feel complete and total helplessness one might when facing down someone so astronomically stronger than yourself, the realization that MAYBE you shouldn't have done what you've done or said what you've said... To not feel hopelessness begin to set in is to be numb to reality itself.
Opherla would summon a bunch of crystals and slip between them like a card in a deck, perhaps trying to make it hard for the Majin to track her. Without a word, Liari would extend her hand outwards and fire a MASSIVE ENERGY BEAM from her palm, encompassing Opherla's little trick, and potentially the Saiyan herself in an energy-wave RIVALING THE SIZE OF MOUNTAINS! As the beam shot off into space, if Opherla managed to escape the breadth of the blast, Liari would suddenly appear before her, a hand shooting out to GRAB the girl by her throat! Her fingers would SQUEEZE and SQUEEZE around Opherla's neck, threatening to choke her out... or even SNAP her spine right there... But then suddenly, Liari's grip would loosen. Her fingers, still curled into claws, would relent enough so that Opherla could retreat, Liari leaving her hand hanging there for a moment, as if still holding her throat.

Opherla wasn't sure where she had gone wrong in the situation, but when Liari's power level launched up to Double of her own, her eyes widened in shock. ...Opherla had always believed Liari was an indestructable monster. She didn't feel pain at all... right...? Unless, even though she was this monster... she did have feelings of pain and other things, as Opherla felt Liari's power spike to incredible numbers. DOUBLE her own strength, as she barely was able to avoid Liari's beam attack that ahe fired, the beam grazing her as Opherla felt that had she taken that attack, she would have been dead on the spot. Then came Liari as she grabbed Opherla by the throat, as Opherla gasped and tried to get some air, feeling Liari squeeze tighter and tighter on her, before feeling her grip loosen, as Opherla wasn't afraid... she was now in a state of concern that she angered Liari when that hadn't been her intent. But what possible way could she tell her? Opherla was pretty sure that a simple "I'm sorry." Wouldn't do the trick. She needed to do something to change this around, as Opherla soon laughed with a defeated sigh as she closed her eyes.
"Yeah... yeah I probably shouldn't have done that." Opherla remarked to Liari, not leaving her grip as if it was her sign to leave what Liari wanted to do to her in Liari's hands, literally, as Opherla coughed a bit. "I always assumed you were this unbreakable monster... that no matter if you got diced, sliced, or slashed, you'd never show pain or anything like that. So I thought, maybe, I could try and have a little fun, maybe make it fun for both of us by playing around that some. ....I guess I was wrong." Opherla remarked with a small smile before she looked Liari dead in the eyes. "If you're gonna do it, then do it. It's not like I can stop you from snapping me like a twig." Opherla remarked, as she closed her eyes. "I just wanted to come face to face with my deepest fears... and look at you without having an ounce of fear in my being. I won't lie, on the surface, I'm still very afraid of you. But I don't fear you anymore, Liari. I simply see you for who you are: one of the strongest warriors I ever have known, and one who I thought was completely indestructible." Opherla admitted. There it was. The entire reasoning behind this meeting. Opherla had wanted to come face to face with her nightmares, nightmares that Liari was the source of, to conquer her fears. On top of that, Opherla didn't even mean to disrespect her, she just ASSUMED Liari was a ball of gel that felt no pain when things like slashing off an arm happened! Since Liari was so rubbery, Opherla just assumed things didn't hurt for her. She did still fear Liari, on the surface. But it wasn't a deep fear anymore, just a level of respect, going as far as to call Liari a warrior, one of the strongest she's known! And yet, she let Liari keep the grip on her throat, leaving it up to her if she decided to off the Lycan Saiyan or not.

"You're really an idiot, aren't you?" Liari decided. Opherla... was trying to play with HER? What did she think they were, EQUALS!? The Majin stared down at the half-breed Saiyan with contempt, as if she were a BUG demanding equal rights and considerations from a giant. After everything the Majin did, after all the lives, the attempted destruction, the blood that was literally DRIPPING FROM and CRUSTING on her hands, did Opherla think that because they had a truce that he Majin cared for her at all? It would have been FUNNY... had it not been so irritating. Look at her... all the blood and pride of a Saiyan being used to ask Liari to KILL HER. SHE WAS LITERALLY ASKING FOR IT! How pathetic. Stupid, optimistic, and pathetic.
"OF COURSE, YOU WERE WRONG." Liari snapped, literally holding her hand up to Opherla's face and snapping her fingers in front of her eyes as if to pull her out of a daze. "WHO DO YOU THINK I AM, YOU LITTLE RUNT!? WHAT ABOUT ME SCREAMS TO YOU 'Hey... I want that thing to be my friend'?" The Majin's eyes STARED into those of Opherla's trying to read the answer before she could speak it... Honestly, she was coming up with so-dense-a-blank, it was a wonder if any thoughts bounced around in that head!
"I have killed more people than you'll ever know in your life, you insolent little worm..." Liari rumbled. With a finger, she pointed towards the ground and fired a thin energy beam... one that completely GLASSED THE GROUND FROM MOUNTAIN TO MOUNTAIN IN A BRILLIANT WHITE EXPLOSION! As the dust cleared, Opherla would see the earth completely scraped clean of anything considered 'life', flattened into an almost sheening floor of earth-tinted-tile! "I WILL kill more people than you'll ever comprehend! ...And I'll LAUGH while I do it. I'll laugh and I'll butcher and I'll maul because it's FUNNY. And you know what else? I think, after your old and weak, reduced to bones and dust living only off the kindness of others, I'll eat you and find any of your friends that are still alive and butcher them too. WHY NOT!? Who's going to stop me? You?"
Opherla launched into this speech about how she had come here wanting to face her fears, how SOMEHOW she managed to overcome them during this 'fight' and that she wanted Liari to know what she thought of her. The Majin just looked at her incredulously, as if she had just rattled off the quadratic equation. Was... Was she not getting it? DID SHE NOT UNDERSTAND!? Opherla had completely given up any means of actually fighting her and decided to... what... have some kind of defiant speech instead...? When all this was over, Liari really was going to go kill Callion for spreading this idea around: that evil can be defeated with an improvised martyr spiel.
"Everyone's gonna die because of you, you know." Liari taunted, backhanding Opherla so hard, she'd ROCKET into the freshly-glassed ground should she not defend herself! "Because you don't THINK... because you don't show RESPECT... because you don't acknowledge reality, they're all going to be caught, eaten, and absorbed... that is, if Arctic doesn't kill you all first." Liari then smirked, grabbing Opherla by her head and opening a swirling portal. She would then shove Opherla's face inside, revealing to her a desolate wasteland of purples, reds and greens, rolling hills with the odd tree-like-plant sprouting up every so often. If Opherla looked up, she would see yellow clouds rolling absently overhead, blocking out the sky!
"...And even if he does, do you think I'll die with you?" Liari's voice came through the portal. "I'll survive here and wait for my moment... and all your little sacrifices and speeches will have been for NOTHING." Liari would PULL Opherla out of the portal, closing it an instant after. "My only regret is that you'll likely go to Heaven as recompense for your foolish acts of martyrdom. ...But rest assured, you'll be the only one that makes it... because I'll make it my mission to break your funny little friends, twist them into the ugliest, most monstrous, horrible things I can imagine so that forevermore they will be tortured, brutalized, and tormented in Hell while YOU get to watch from on-high. ...And it will be quite a show. I promise."
Liari would then THROW Opherla across the landscape by her head, potentially SLAMMING her into the mountainside!

Opherla didn't waver in any of her thoughts even if Liari tried her damndest to break her resolve. What she knew now was just how much Liari wanted to make them all suffer, but Opherla didn't fear her. She already had assurance of her future thanks to wisdom she had received before coming here. She just needed to make sure she made it to Arctic in one piece. And that meant quelling Liari here and now with every ounce of power she had in her being, even if it meant Liari would still survivr it in the end. Opherla wanted her to survive it, to make use of the truce in its fullest. And so, as Liari showed Opherla the realm of hell, and tried to snap Opherla into 'reality,' Liari would find the reason why Opherla seemed to be not thinking in this moment, as when she moved to throw her, she only found a plushy where Opherla had once been, an Orgone Crystal embedded in it, as just as it left Liari's hands, it exploded in her face, before she was stabbed with many more Orgone Crystals from the large one, as they exploded on her, as Opherla was currently preparing her attack while Liari dealt with the distraction of that, as Opherla would be behind Liari, charging at her with a leaping kick! If Liari turned to meet her, it would be met by another plushy, with another Orgone Crystal explosion, setting her up for the grand finale Opherla had planned.
Opherla would begin to assault whatever was left of Liari's body with claws and kicks as she bashed Liari rapidly, as Liari couldn't believe her eyes when she felt the power that was hitting her... this had to be an ultimate technique. Because Opherla wasn't a measly 3 Million Power Level anymore..... she...
SHE HAD INCREASED IT TO 6 MILLION, NOT TOO FAR FROM HERSELF!!!
Opherla put everything into her assault, as she rapidly slashed and punched Liari back, potentially apart, across the expanse of field, as she kicked Liari to the ground hard enough she bounced off of the ground, before Opherla was up in the air, charging up her Ultimate Attack, her eyes flaring a Lunar blue as her aura flared massively. "Ka... me... ha... Me.... HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"
Opherla yelled this as a crimson beam of energy shot from her hands, SCREAMING down at Liari at high speeds, and blasted into her rubbery body as Opherla put her strength into the beam, making it start to dissolve Liari, but not disintegrate her as Opherla wasn't strong enough for that, as Opherla would do this for a bit, before Liari would be bounced up again from the explosion, as Opherla suddenly shot down in a blaze of red ki, as her kick would SLICE through Liari, and explode on her YET AGAIN as Opherla landed behind whatever remained of the Majin, panting as she had used up all of her energy from the attack, as she cracked her neck, before picking up her weighted clothing from the ground, as Opherla glanced back momentarily.
"Fine Liari. No more speeches." Opherla declared as she looked back at her. "You just focus on getting stronger to defeat Arctic, and I'll focus on getting stronger to defeat him on my end." Opherla remarked, as she started to walk away, walking a few more feet away from Liari, or what was left of her, before she prepared to take off. "But know this. After this truce is over, what hope do you have of winning for another time? Callion is just as strong as you, and you have a slew of warriors on this planet who, when they combine with Callion, overshadow you. I don't fear you, or Arctic, because of my friends Liari. So I suggest you steel yourself for Arctic, but then I suggest you hide. Hide away and hope we don't find you. Because Callion won't stop to hunt you down to kill you. And neither will I. So if you're feeling confident about your win when this is all said and done, I'd start reconsidering if I were you." Opherla stated with a firm growl to her voice before she took off into the air, and headed for somewhere... she didn't know exactly where yet. Maybe she'd go back to the Gau-la-Furia with Liek. Maybe she'd go to the Lookout and spend time with Ayu again. Maybe she'd just train somewhere for the time being. One thing was for sure, wherever she went, Opherla had to become stronger, because now she had a promise to keep to a certain villain. She would make it her mission to hunt Liari down. And that would become her mission for the good of all humanity.
The nightmares she once had of Liari would be long gone after this day. Opherla had conquered her fear of the blue Majin. What Opherla saw now wasn't a monster, but a petty excuse for a self-righteous villain in Liari. She rambled off about no more heroic speeches. What about her villainous monologues? That was a double standard there. She rambled on how no one lived in "reality" anymore. What reality did Liari live in if she thought she had a chance to defeat the people defending this planet as things stood right now? Arctic was more of a threat than Liari ever thought about being anymore, and Opherla knew that her reign of terror would be coming to a close. Because Opherla sensed it. Even if Liari was stronger than her, individually, she wasn't strong enough to fight off every defender of Earth. She was going to find herself dead if she kept down this path. Opherla prayed that somehow, someway, Liari might find a means to end that madness of hers. Because until she did, she was going to be spending a lot more time in hell. For Opherla, no one deserved that.
Not even Liari.

...And Liari was obliterated... for all that was worth. As Opherla landed amongst the remains, those very same pieces were reconstituted in an instant, re-amalgamating into a full, hardly harmed Majin! The haunting bellow of the Majin's laughter would echo across the landscape in response to Opherla's admittedly admirable last stand, Liari seeming to tower over the girl in both power... and stature. ...That smile dropped off real quick when the woman straight up abandoned their fight. After all that bravado and haughtiness, not even Opherla's Saiyan Blood could convince her to see through the fight she herself had started! Liari stared at her in utter disbelief, sniffing the air just to make sure that what she smelled on that half-breed was, in fact, the spice of a Saiyan! ...It was... but whatever hold it had on this creature must have been tenuous indeed. Opherla countered the Majin's declaration with one of her own, arguing that Callion was her equal and, mixing that with all the other rabble, might just be enough to overwhelm her! HECK, she even went as far as to pull out the "my-friends-are-my-strength" cliche as if that held meaning in the real world! Liari didn't know if she wanted to laugh, cry in pity, or SCREAM in outrage. ...It all kind of settled into an apathetic mire within which her mind now sat.
...When Liari said that the damned heroic speeches were getting old, she wasn't kidding. Each instance was becoming like that of a slap to her, a disrespectful action of impulsivity Liari was tempted to shy away from each time it was invoked! The Majin had half a mind to raise a finger and shoot a very thin and fine Dodonpa right through the woman's mouth, severing her tongue (and potentially her spinal-cord) in one swift flick of the wrist. ...But then her nerves prickled with the looming, haunting power of the changeling... and that impulse faded into the shadows.
Later, perhaps, if Opherla survived. Until then, Liari needed as many meat-shields between herself and that MONSTER as possible. For now, Liari would push that impulse, that VERY STRONG IMPULSE, back down her throat as if it were acid reflux. Instead, she locked eyes with the woman who was scooping up the remains of her weights.
"Your friends are gonna die." Liari stated, her voice as cold and flat as tile. "...I wonder how many of them it will take before you quiver before me...?"
...It didn't really matter. Opherla would leave without another word, seemingly unaffected by the Majin's promise. ...She was really starting to believe that these half-breeds were insane. She watched the woman go, sighing sadly to herself. She was afraid that whatever egg-shell mind Opherla was working with was crushed far beyond anything the Majin could do to her.
