    Salada felt... right again, wearing this modified suit of armor. Some human had made it for her in exchange for their local currency, modeling it after her breastplate in order to give it the illusion it was typical Saiyan garb. Earth's gravity, its lightness... had started to get on Salada's nerves after a few days of living here. Feeling as if one is floating constantly, as if a little gust of wind would blow her away... Bah. These weights though... Why, it was like she was back on Vegeta to some extent, giving her the feeling of the 10x gravity ALL Saiyans born there would consider "normal!" It was... nostalgic, one might say, giving her a layer of comfort being a strange warrior in a stranger land. Unlike simulation conquest missions or long-term training exercises where Saiyans would practice invasion/siege drills on empty, desolate rocks, Salada knew... she wasn't going home for a long time. While she resented the hypocrisy of the upper-class, the sickening endorsement of a woman BARELY BIOLOGICALLY SAIYAN sitting upon their royal throne, and the general weakness of their kin... It was home. The red rolling hills of Planet Vegeta at dawn was a sight to see... Even she couldn't deny that.

    ...Bah. Enough of this homesickness. This is what old women and cripples would complain about, lamenting the glory-days. Salada was here... and she was alive... And there was still much of this dirt-ball she had yet to catalogue. The Break Wasteland, for example, is the epitome of the descriptor "dirt-ball" if ever there was such a thing. The land was generally dry, barren and rough, large blankets of grass sprouting out of rocky, solid ground. Light gusts of wind kicked up dust-clouds from the loose sediment that made up the surface-earth, the occasional rumble of the large reptilian fauna passing by adding a bit of... flavor to the already bland landscape.

    If there was one thing Salada liked about Earth (and 'liked' was stretching it), it would be the so-called "dino-saurs." Among the pathetic Earthling creatures, these titanic behemoths towered above the rest and had a bite to match their bark. Whenever an opportunity presented itself, say when two of the beasts met each other while she was training, Salada would watch as they too would fight, rending claws and gnashing teeth flashing in the sunlight, the two creatures showing who they were to one another. Sometimes one died. Sometimes both. Rarer still the two would limp away, content they were still alive. ...Admiration was a strong word to attribute to these feelings she held for the reptiles, but... respect might not be. Despite their pitiable strength, even at their colossal size, dinosaurs had the savage hearts and rabid instincts of a true warrior...

    Ugh... there was that nostalgia again. Salada slapped her cheek lightly to snap herself out of that downward spiral before it could sink its claws in, the Saiyan taking a moment to overlook the landscape in earnest. Yes, there wasn't much to scoff at, what with the most interesting attribute of the Wasteland (hence its name) was the occasional spindly tree that had somehow managed to grow. 

    ...That was... until Salada caught wind of a certain voice... One she would have never expected... She froze, her head SNAPPING up, scanning the sky... and there he was: Dressed in what could only be described as some kind of RIDICULOUS expression of Earthling fashion, JAREHD, one of her three squad-mates, was floating just ahead! 

    "What the...!?" Salada gasped... before SHOOTING UP towards the man! He wasn't supposed to be here... As far as her squad SHOULD HAVE known, she was off on some secret mission! How was he HERE right now? WHY!? Did the empire not think she was doing enough, living among these wastes of space!? They sent JAREHD to replace her!? ...Then Salada considered the situation.

Calm down, idiot... Getting angry is what got you into this situation in the first place: stranded without a scouter on an alien planet... Jarehd might even be able to help you or bring news of home... So cool it, get your shit together, and act like a LEADER.

"So. You're here." Salada greeted indifferently, her arms crossed over her chest. She greeted her squadmate with a rough smirk, as if it were only an interesting surprise he was here. "...What about the other two? They coming as well?"

    Salada... was actually surprised her squad gave a damn where she was. While idle speculation was expected (who wouldn't muse what their boss was doing on secret assignment) but she DIDN'T expect them to PESTER Jarehd over it to the point he just CAME here! The female Saiyan stared at her subordinate with slightly widened eyes, her lips twitching as if deciding whether to form into a scowl or a smirk! On the one hand, it showed some lack of faith in her crew. What, did they think she was going to die in this backwater dung-hole? TCH! HARDLY! Sure, her landing was rough, but she got back on her feet and she was alive! ...On the other hand, it showed that they cared enough to send someone to find out. These were supposed to be professional warriors and yet, they still found time to care about their ol' boss. Heh... Well, she went with a smirk for now. 

    "...What softies." Salada grunted... but she didn't hide her smile. "As if I'd die in this place." ...And speaking of rough landings, Jarehnd's recounting of how he'd even GOTTEN here sounded like one blunder after another! First, it was as if this system's asteroid belt had a persona vendetta with the Saiyan, threatening to SMASH him upon one of their rocks, THEN all of his gear was fried on impact, even his armor! The poor monkey had to make do with earthling-made attire! Salada's smile only grew if for no other reason that it was satisfying to hear that she wasn't the only Saiyan treated harshly by this planet. 

    "Well... No matter." Salada chuckled, brushing aside Jarehd's report. "...All that matters is the acquisition of a communication system of some kind. As far as I've witnessed, scouter-technology is no longer exclusive to the Changlings or Saiyans any longer. Some of the Earthlings, even, have recreated them. You're now under my command once again, Jarehd. Your first mission is to acquire a pair, one for me and one for yourself. We're going to need them to update the empire on... OUR mission." Salada spoke in such a way to imply that Jarehd was now, effectively, recruited into her mission. He might have just been here for the satisfaction of her crew but Salada... needed TRUE Saiyan companionship. Earthlings were, at their best, droll and pathetic creatures, cowering before strength as if they assumed they were going to be squashed. Jarehd may have been something of a blockhead (or at least a daredevil considering he couldn't even manage to properly program a pod's autopilot to get THROUGH an asteroid belt), but he was, at the very least, HER blockhead, a Saiyan she knew she could trust and one she actually enjoyed being around from time to time. 

    ...And then the conversation fell flat as Jarehd expected a status report of his own: HOW WAS Salada doing down here? Had she made the inhabitants tremble in fear yet? Had she-

    "NEVERMIND THAT!" Salada SNAPPED... a bit more sharply than she had intended! Embarrassment FLASHED through the Saiyan warrior as she recounted her first MINUTES on the planet, the HUMILIATION of being destroyed by one of those halfbreeds... She glared at Jarehd, silently warning him not to push ANY further... before her expression fell back into one of neutrality. OBVIOUSLY, she wanted to put that mess as far behind her as she could make it. 

    "...How about we have ourselves a spar instead? I've been itching for an actual fight since I've gotten to this rock. It looks like you're the only one I can count on. Lucky you." Salada looked around before pointing at the ground, lowering herself to it. That's where they would begin. She would then shift into a battle-stance, Raising her hands up, fingers curled into waiting mits, her eyes glinting with the sort of excitement only Saiyans could have on the eve of battle. 

    "I've been away for a while. Show me how much stronger you've gotten without me."

    ...To say Salada was surprised and off-put by Jarehd's reaction was an understatement. She had expected her Saiyan subordinate to COMPLY with her order, to fall silent and fall in line with her request for a spar! ...Instead, the man seemed to go INSANE with rage, blowing up this and that, his energy FLARING like Salada had never seen! She almost SWATTED Jarehd's hands aside as they GRABBED at her shoulder-plates from reflex alone, her eyes shooting wide as the man both accurately GUESSED that she was humiliated somehow and HOW she was, as well as DEMANDING the name of the perpetrator! 

    ...Salada only stared. She said nothing. What COULD she say? What... in all of heaven, hell and the universe was THAT!? AND HOW DID HE KNOW!? It was like the Saiyan equivalent of being kicked between the legs, not wanting to talk about it, and then someone accurately guessed HOW AND IF IT EVEN HAPPENED! ...But what caught her most by surprise was the sudden outburst of Jarehd. Never ONCE had she seen him blow up over ANYTHING since he'd been assigned to her squad. She had always seen him as the blockheaded muscle of the group, someone whose thinking was only as sharp as their commander's but made up for it with their strength! ...But this... WHAT EVEN WAS THIS!?

    After several moments, Jarehd retreated, apologizing for his behavior. This time, he asked again, more politely and less VIOLENTLY INSANE as he had been moments prior, his expression more gentle and worried than completely out-of-its-gourd. Again, Salada said nothing, her eyes slowly narrowing at Jarehd. She was starting to wonder if his story about the concerns of her team was fabricated, rather, it was a mask to hide something Jarehd himself felt... something about her. She didn't know what, she didn't know WHY, but this man was SO concerned for her well-being, so SOFT over it... he was able to GET INTO HER HEAD from this brief exchange alone... and scream to the world what was STILL eating at her. 

    "Shut up or I'll kill you." Salada HISSED, GLARING daggers at her subordinate. "...If you utter ANYTHING about that... or anything LIKE it again, I'll rip yours OFF, understand!?" She leaned in close, jabbing her finger under the man's nose just to make sure he got the MESSAGE! ...How dare he!? NOT ONLY was he bringing up one of the worst insults a Saiyan can endure, but he was SCREAMING IT TO THE HEAVENS, ensuring anyone with remotely advanced hearing would pick it up! Essentially, Jarehd, being his blockhead-self, was broadcasting to the world that Salada was weak, pathetic, and RIPE for further humiliation! That IDIOT! Did he ever THINK!? EVEN ONCE!? She glared deep into his eyes for another moment burning a hole DEEP inside his head... before stepping back, resuming her battle stance. Apparently not having burned his sudden flare of passion out, Jarehd proclaimed that he WOULD fight her after all... and that he was so mad, he wanted to commit a massacre, make this planet one scattered with bodies!

    ...As much as Salada liked the idea of that, she still let out a growl of annoyance.

    "Seriously. Shut up." Salada rumbled. "That's an order." ...Before LUNGING at Jarehd! He had accepted her challenge... so the battle would begin! Salada would JAB her fist at Jahred's nose, aiming to CLOCK the Saiyan dead-center in his face before SHOOTING her leg out, aiming to nail him in the abs with the heel of her boot! If she managed to land the second attack, Jarehd would likely be flung back, Salada then THROWING a red energy-sphere after him, aiming to EXPLODE him at a distance!

    Salada grunted in annoyance as Jarehd... defended himself... AND RATHER EASILY, she might add! ...Why was he so strong...? WHY!? She didn't understand! Before, he would have been LUCKY to even scratch her but now... NOW his resistance was genuine... and troublesome! With her initial strikes deflected, Salada went for her energy sphere, an attack that flew past him, the man rather deftly JUMPING over the ball as it exploded right behind! HE would then land behind her, almost MOCKING his captain, questioning what was even the PURPOSE of all that? Salada grimaced, whirling around to face him, stepping to the side as his FOOT shot out, intended for her back! It flew past her front as she whirled, Salada catching his leg between her arms, holding it in place!

    "Don't push your luck, you upstart." Salada growled, SWINGING his leg to the side in an attempt to catch him off balance. "So what if you got a little stronger? It's still not enough to beat me!" ...Well, if that was the case, Jarehd was ready to show Salada a special technique of his! Gripping his hand, Jarehd channeled his ki into his grabbed palm, channeling it out in the shape of a blade! Salada's eyes widened slightly, actually kind of impressed that he had THAT much control over his energy! Throwing out energy blasts one thing, but refining it into a razor's edge was something else! 

    Salada ducked, dived and deflected at Jarehd's wrist as he swung his ki-blade at her, the Saiyan-ess taking special care to ensure her long hair wasn't nicked by his wild attacks! While his control was impressive, his technique... was less so. He came at her like any untrained schmuck with a weapon, taking unmeasured swings... but he did manage to cut lightly into her breastplate at points! Salada GRABBED Jarehd's wrist mid-swing, her underling questioning if she LIKED his new technique!

    "It's amusing." Salada smirked, suddenly wrenching Jahred's blade-hand to the side before THROWING her head forward to SMASH into his face and send him stumbling back! "You're certainly not the complete blockhead you were on Vegeta. ...Not entirely." Jarehd would then make a proclamation! HE wanted to be the next super-saiyan and that he wanted Salada to NOT HOLD BACK anymore! The Saiyan captain stared... then LAUGHED in Jarehd's face, shaking her head. How little he knew... There already was a Super Saiyan on Earth! The LEGEND had come true, as per the prophecy! ...And it would be Salada who would achieve it again... NOT her underling!

    "You haven't lost your spunk, I'll give you that." Salada proclaimed, her aura FLARING up to full! "...But don't underestimate me, Jarehd... Or you'll end up being BURNED." Salada LUNGED for Jarehd again, this time DUCKING low, bringing her hands up against his chest and firing a STRONG blast point-blank against his chest! Should it connect, the resulting explosion would BLOW the man back, Salada SPRINGING up over him, firing a quick barrage of red-tinted ki-blasts over his frame!

    "That name is ridiculous." Salada remarked as Jarehd, having been launched into the sky, fired a BEAM down upon her, absorbing the quick-ki blasts she had hurled in his direction! 'Damnation Beam...' What's next? 'Death Beam?' 'Supernova?' As much as Jarehd was trying his best to make himself stand out, try and look 'cool,' but no matter what, it seemed, he was still something of a blockhead. That was alright, though. His fighting instincts, at least, seemed to grow sharper and sharper as they fought. With the beam looming closer, Salada raised an arm over her head, her fingers extended into a blade-like shape! Her brow furrowed, her jaw clenched, Salada's aura CONDENSING UP AROUND HER PALM...

    "RRRRRAAAAAAAAAH!" She ROARED, chopping down on the energy-beam the instant before it would collide with her form, SLICING the blast in half as it bore down upon her! The Beam, cleaved in two, SMASHED into the ground on either side of the Saiyan commander, ERUPTING in a blast of orange/golden light, Salada grunting with discomfort as she rose to her full height. The glove she had used to slice the beam had been burned almost down to the flesh, the skin underneath raw and lightly burned... but still workable, more or less. Salada rose to her full height and smirked up at Jarehd, raising her burnt hand in his direction... and beckoning him towards her! SHE was challenging him to come at her! ... And come at her he did! This time, Jarehd attacked ferociously, much faster than before and with more tenacity!

    "This is more like it!" Salada laughed as she batted aside Jarehd's attacks, slapping them wide of their intended targets, causing them only to strike the air! ...Only, when she attempted to flank Jarehd, her subordinate was always there to cut her off! His speed... well... it was impressive! So much so that Salada was actually having trouble moving around as much as she wanted to! Salada wasn't holding back on the offense either, throwing punches, kicks, even attempting to sweep his legs in-between swipes of his arm-sword-thing but the openings were few and far between. She had to play this smart if she didn't want to lose a limb. 

    ...But whatever that meant, Jarehd was determined not to let her have it. Salada tilted her head to the side just in time to avoid a thrust meant for her face, the bare edge of the blade lightly nicking her cheek! She tisked in annoyance, preparing to strike back... only something was going on with the blade... it grew, it swelled... and it exploded right next to her head! 

    "AAAUGH!" Salada roared, being sent hurtling to the ground with almost a DOZEN MORE energy blasts trailing her right behind! They battered and smashed into the ground, kicking up dust, dirt, rocks, all in a cloud around the Saiyan... but when they cleared, she was no longer there! Jarehd would focus on his surroundings, attempting to find Salada... Only for her fists to find him first! Suddenly, two white-gloved fists would SLEDGEHAMMER STRIKE upon the crown of Jarehd's skull, sending him rocketing down towards the ground! In the next instant, Salada would appear below him, armor scuffed, a shoulder-pad cracked, even her under-suit torn along one arm... but still very much alive and ready to fight! 

"HAAAH!" She roared, SWINGING her knee up to SLAM into Jarehd's stomach, aiming to knock the wind out of him! She them would cup her palm, summoning a massive red sphere before placing it against Jarehd's cheek... and making it EXPLODE in a violent sanguine burst! Payback... it was delicious.

    "Yeah, yeah. I'm sure you were inspired, saw me as a hero, yada-yada-yada." Salada droned, clearly not impressed with Jarehd's praise! In her mind, she didn't DO this whole squad-thing out of some need to fulfill her ego! She was GIVEN command of a squad because the Saiyan high-command saw her as JUST that good! Now, much to Salada's chagrin, when she was born, she was rated as little more than a middling Saiyan. Her Power Level was average at best and her future, as far as warrior was concerned, was destined to be little more than a life of basic soldiering... or some kind of general-rank if she was VERY lucky. It had taken all the will, the strength, and the lack of tolerance she had for BULL that she had achieved what she had now: a squad to call her own. Her pride came not from the admiration of her from her members, but the fact they were HERS and she EARNED it. 

    ...Now, though, that authority was being challenged. Whether or not Jarehd knew it, his power was threatening Salada's and, as a result, he was CHALLENGING her authority. It was no secret that a lot of Saiyan society was dictated by strength. From the time you were born to the moment you died, if your strength was not high enough, on some level, you were looked down upon. Commanders, then, were not only expected to be stronger than their underlings but it was considered a sign of WEAKNESS and of being UNFIT TO LEAD if they weren't! After all, what would a weakling know about battle that this other guy, this STRONGER GUY didn't? How could this weaker man lead his troops if his troops made HIM look like a joke!? ...Such was the insecurity Salada was starting to feel. Jarehd, as far as she could judge, had become her equal. ...And if he were to grow beyond her, all it would take is a display of that power for her squad to doubt her. ...And when they started to doubt, they would no longer be HER squad... just a group of Saiyans that had yet to hash out a new pecking order. 

    ...She COULD NOT let that happen! WHO would she be WITHOUT them, even!? It wasn't as if she was particularly attached to them all, not how these PATHETIC humans got attached to those that surrounded them! It was a matter of competence and authority! She... would be LESSER... if she was not STRONGER! She would be reduced back down to a common grunt under someone else's command, just another faceless Saiyan fighting in the shadow of someone stronger, someone she KNEW even! Anxiety ran up the nerves of Salada, overriding her sense of enjoyment... She had to win this fight... She HAD to... She wasn't going to lose EVERYTHING to this GOD-DAMNED PLANET, ESPECIALLY NOT HER SQUAD!

    Salada sprung back from Jarehd's sweep-kick at her legs, her arms crossing over her chest, blocking the following punch! Salada grunted as she SKIDDED back with the force-of-impact, her boots GRINDING a trail into the ground from where she'd once been! She reacted to the THIRD of Jarehd's attacks, however, firing out a beam of her own FROM HER MOUTH to match Jarehd's from his palm, the two beams BUILDING PRESSURE BETWEEN THEM before EXPLODING IN A BRILLIANT FLASH OF LIGHT! 

    "Blast... Where are you NOW!?" Salada rumbled, wiping her hand through the building dust-cloud, trying to catch sight of her subordinate. He was fast... and he was clever, using smoke-screens to outmaneuver her! It wasn't honorable, but all was fair in war, they say! Salada caught movement through the murk and SWUNG her leg around, her own SLAMMING into Jarehd's as he LUNGED out, aiming to send her flying into a mountain! The impact of their legs DISPURSED any cloud of dust around them, the warriors being blown back... with Salada's being pressed against a nearby rockface! Salada gritting her teeth in irritation and anxiousness... while Jarehd merely LAUGHED in her face, RAGE blooming from the bed of her anxiety, her eyes FLASHING towards her fellow Saiyan!

     "DON'T YOU DARE MOCK ME!" Salada ROARED, her aura EXPLODING all around her! Jarehd swung his ki-sword at Salada who deflected it with her arms... only for the mountain above her to fall on top of- ...wait... DID SHE CATCH IT!? Salada gritted her teeth, her face CONTORTED with rage as she LIFTED the bisected mountain over her head... before HURLING IT at Jarehd, aiming to SMASH him with his own attack! 

    Whether or not it had connected, Salada and Jarehd would RUSH at one another, a flurry of explosive punches and kicks that almost threatened to suck ALL of the air out of the environment! Sonic BOOMS and VACUUM pockets erupted all about the battlefield as the two warriors bounced from place-to-place, ripping out CHUNKS from the ground and ripping CHASMS in the clouds above!

    Salada would CATCH Jarehd's latest punch with one hand before bringing her other up to SMASH into his stomach with a brutal uppercut, hoping to take the air out of him! She would then BACKHAND his jaw with her fist before SWINGING her leg around in a roundhouse-kick, aiming to send him flying! SHOOTING after him, Salada would fire three quick energy-blasts, each aimed at his torso and, whether or not they all connected cleanly, Salada would suddenly disappear... then reappear behind Jarehd, her boot SHOOTING OUT in a fearsome thrust, aiming to NAIL the back of his head!

    "Take THAT!" She roared, her aura blazing furiously! ...Her Saiyan Spirit had awakened... Jarehd had better be ready for it!

    Usually, getting hit with a mountain and then being pounded into the DUST was enough to put a Saiyan down. Even the strongest among them struggled to deal with that kind of persistent damage and hostility, a weaker man would know to just give up and let the victor define herself. ...Not Jarehd, though. Just WHAT kind of training had he gone through!? It took at least ONE zenkai from nearly dying to those two fools to become as strong as she was now so... what? Did Jarehd suffer just as greatly? How as he still able to keep up with her! As if to get revenge for himself, the Saiyan man would STOMP the ground, kicking up a large chunk and throwing it at her! Expertly, Salada would SHOOT above it, allowing the wall of stone to pass harmlessly beneath. She could have done any number of things else to annihilate it, from smashing it with her fists to blasting it away... but why waste the energy when there was such an obviously superior alternative? ...Probably because it wasn't just obvious to her. Out of the corner of her vision, Salada caught sight of the LONG dark streak arching above her, the Saiyan captain looking up in time just as Jarehd was MID-BACK-FLIP, his legs arching up for kick upon the completion of his rotation! Salada's arms SHOT UP, crossing over her head an INSTANT before Jarehd's motion completed, her leg SLAMMING into Salada's forearms, taking out most of the impact.

    The ground beneath Salada's boots EXPLODED as she bore the full pressure of the impact, her teeth gritting with strain as she GLARED up at Jarehd! He hadn't just gotten stronger, but smarter too! He was using little tricks and maneuvers he likely NEVER would have thought of back on Vegeta! Now she was convinced he had been doing some kind of secret training on the side, SOMTHING to try and close the gap between them! Had he been planning something this whole time? Was he so disquieted by her command, he was willing to RISE above his birth-station!? All she could see from her subordinate was the threat that he posed in this moment, a manifestation of her inability to lead. What other reason was there that he was this strong? On Vegeta, gaining power like this was seen as a threat to those in the upper ranks. After all, might made right, strength commanded authority, and with that authority, one could reach the ultimate seat of power. Although things had become much more... liberal than they had been in the past, there was still a consensus among many Saiyans that only the strongest should have the right to rule over the rest, that it is THEIR strength everyone must look to and aspire to reach. Salada herself had risen FAR beyond anything she been expected to achieve throughout her whole life, touching upon the "15,000" marker mere moments after arriving on Earth. Yes, it cost her much of her pride... and YES, it cost her the sorest loss she had ever suffered... but she had also transcended into the traditional ranking system of "Elite Saiyan Warrior!" Despite everything, she was PROUD of her power and what she had achieved! It was HER power, not the result of any do-dads or gadgets! She was the real deal, a Saiyan that had risen above! She just needed to return to Vegeta and make it official!

    ...Then Jarehd came... and made that achievement look like nothing.

    Salada whipped an arm out from under Jarehd's leg and THREW it's fist at his face... only for him to DISAPPEAR in a flash of speed! Salada tracked him expertly, though, whirling around to face him... only to see a POWERFUL energy-wave rocketing her way! Once more, Salada would SWIVVEL to the side, allowing the beam to PASS by her... only she had cut it REMARKABLY close this time. The energy-wave scuffed against her breastplate enough to leave a long black line across its once pristine white face, Salada staring down at it in disgust. Gashed, marred, burnt... It wouldn't have been much of a problem if she were on Vegeta. SURE, requisitioning a new suit was ALWAYS a pain, what with all the PAPERWORK, but at least it was there. Seeing her armor damaged thusly, even if it was an Earthling weighted replica... it reminded Salada JUST how far from home she really was.

    ...And that made her MAD. She just couldn't fathom why SHE was sent here in the first place! MONSTERS lived among SHEEP on this dung-hill! Giants squatting among ANTS! They LIVED together... BREEDED together! Some of which, she was disturbed to learn, had Saiyan blood! She wouldn't have had to deal with ANY of this had the paper-pushers back home just sent someone else! She could have been a warrior... She could have kept her pride intact! She would have found ANOTHER way to rise above her limits while SECURING HER STATION... But everything was coming undone... She couldn't even keep her ARMOR in presentable condition! In this moment of internal conflict, Jarehd had found another suitably sized mountain and decided to test out his throwing arm. He HURLED it at Salada like it were a titan's javelin, sending hundreds of millions of tons of stone FALLING upon Salada! The Saiyan, her rage, her anxiety, her uncertainty, all of these things gripping her heart like a vice, would stand before the falling mountain, her hands straightening out to resemble blades. With a ROAR she THRUST them up into the Mountain's tip as it fell upon her, WEDGING them in as she SPRUNG UP! She SPUN and SPUN, drilling from one end of the mountain to the other, CRACKING OUT THE OTHER SIDE as the whole of the structure collapsed upon the sudden gap inside! The Saiyan was dusty, rocks and pebbles covering her hair with perhaps one or two new scratches... but she was more than ready to keep fighting. Her blood boiled in the way only a Saiyan's could, her eyes ablaze with the desire to WIN. It was the only way she could be satisfied, she decided, defeating Jarehd. Her aura IGNITED like a red sun's flare, Salada angling to CLOSE the distance and continue the fight when-

    ...Jarehd SCREAMED for a time out! Salada froze, once again caught off guard. Jarehd... was reprimanding her...? First he was screaming like some softy, having read her embarrassment like she was some kind of battle-report... NOW he was reading her AGAIN and this time he believed he had the RIGHT to call her out on what she was FEELING!? Salada could, once more, do nothing but stare in shock at the seemingly insane audacity on display before her. She didn't remember Jarehd behaving this way when they were working on Vegeta. Sure, he was more emotional than most, a meahead for sure, but THIS!? Where did he get the GAL!? ...Salada knew. His power made him believe he had the right. He was fighting her on equal-enough footing that he believed he could speak to her as an EQUAL rather than his commander. Salada's rage BOILED UP INSIDE as she listened to his rant, her jaw clenching so tight, the teeth in her head threatened to crack!

    "SHUT UP!" Salada ROARED, her voice CLAMPING OVER JAREHD'S, silencing his tirade before it could go any further! Her eyes flashed red, almost the same shade as her ki as she locked them with Jarehd's her fists clenched so tightly, the tips nearly dug into her palms! "Who the hell are YOU to judge me, huh? You're just some PUNK assigned to my team, some nobody that some guy somewhere sent to ME! What the HELL would you know about my PRIDE, what happened to MY honor!?" Salada's energy SPIKED at that last word, as if someone had opened the door to a burning house, letting fresh oxygen inside! "I was a respected WARRIOR before I came to this world! I was a Middle-Class warrior with a squad to call my own! We were strong.... we were recognized! Our strength might have not been comparable to the nobles but they noticed us regardless!" She bowed her head, trembling with outrage. "Then they sent me to this place... I was to be a DIPLOMAT, a REPRESENTATIVE because our QUEEN both REFUSES to expand our borders AND because she failed to diplomacy herself! ME! I AM A WARRIOR AND I WAS SENT TO CLEAN UP HER MESS!" Salada's energy SPIKED again! "...Not two minutes on this blasted rock and I am already being assaulted by warriors possessing strength I NEVER would have believed possible! I was HUMILIATED, BROUGHT LOW, RENDERED SMALL in a matter of moments by one of this planet's WEAKER warriors! EARTH, this backwater worthless excuse-for-a-planet is pumping out fighters with powers of 100,000 or more, JAREHD! AND I WAS CRUSHED BY ONE OF THEM BEFORE I COULD DEFEND MYSELF!" ...Blood seeped from around Salada's in-clenched fingers. "But that was only the SECOND insult to my honor. The THIRD... some CHILD, some BOY grabbed my tail and squeezed it! He KNEW what it was, what would happen and SQUEEZED IT!" She pointed a finger at Jarehd, blood dripping off it's tip. "I was HUMILIATED... AND HUMILIATED... AND HUMILIATED AGAIN! WORTHLESS HALFBREED SCUM TOOK MY HONOR AND SMASHED IT TO PIECES! ...Then there's YOU." Her voice lowered into a growl that resembled that of the Oozaru inside!

    "You just happen to show up DAYS after that, confident, STRONG. You a man who was little more than my squad-mate, came to remind me of it all. Your power rivaling mine... It reminds me of my WEAKNESS! It is yet ANOTHER insult to my honor! I am a Saiyan commander! I SHOULD NEVER HAVE SUFFERED THESE DISGRACES! I... I..." Salada roared, nearly choking on her own words! She instead refocused her gaze on Jarehd. "...SO NEVER speak to me like that again, you BASTARD. You could NEVER know the SHAME I feel every moment I stay on this PLANET!"
