ON TONIGHTS EPISODE OF DRAGONBALL: HORIZON
The universe stood on the brink of uncertainty as a fierce Saiyan warrior, Callion, trained diligently on the tranquil planet Yardrat. His formidable prowess was matched only by his unyielding determination. But peace was shattered when a sudden attack by the Majin Liari, a cunning adversary, disrupted the serenity of Yardrat.
As their clash intensified, an alarming disturbance resonated across the cosmos, emanating from the distant Planet Namek. An unparalleled surge of energy rippled through the fabric of space and time, alerting warriors far and wide to the impending danger. With unfaltering resolve, Callion, utilizing his mastery of Astral Projection Telepathy, transcended the physical realm, manifesting a spectral apparition within Korin's forest on Earth. As a ghostly emissary, his form flickered with urgency, projecting a planetary emergency broadcast to all corners of the universe. His plea echoed through the minds of seasoned fighters, calling upon their valor and strength.
The plea was simple yet urgent: converge at Korin's Forest for an unprecedented gathering that could alter the fate of all existence. It was a summons that echoed across galaxies, reaching the ears of warriors old and new, heroes and villains alike.
However, destiny is a fickle force. Despite Callion's ethereal presence and the dire warning he conveyed, the response was scattered. Some dismissed it as a ploy, a mere echo in the vast expanse of the cosmos. Others, who have yet to heed the call, remain unknown for now. Those time as of now was running out.
The Planetary wide telepathy message went as follows:
My name is Callion, a Saiyan warrior hailing from the distant planet Yardrat. The fate of your world quivers with an impending threat—a resonance from the world of Namek, a warning that echoes across the stars.
I speak to you through the ethereal plane, projecting my essence to Korin's Forest on Earth, after my battle with Liari. It is imperative that you hear my plea.
I fear we will all face a peril that transcends boundaries, a challenge that requires the unity of all who wield strength and power. An emergency that I cannot face on my own.
Gather your resolve and heed this call. Make way to Korin's Forest within the Western Continent of Earth. The fate of existence itself hangs in the balance.
The urgency is absolute. Time is our most fleeting ally. Unite, warriors, for the threads of destiny weave a tapestry of uncertainty. I call upon everyone from groups and factions to put aside their differences for this moment. Only together can we face the darkness that looms on the horizon.
Let the stars guide your path. Our meeting at Korin's Forest shall mark the beginning of our journey—a journey that will define the very essence of our existence.
May the cosmos grant you swiftness in your travels. Join me, for in unity, we shall find strength.
This is Callion, extending the beacon of hope in the face of encroaching turmoil.

Post by Taiyo on Nov 24, 2023 2:40:44 GMT -5
Taiyo's journey across the globe had taken him to the tallest mountains, to the deepest valleys, and to the endless expanses of the seas. He had always kept his eyes to the ground, never to the skies. Even now as the man walked through the forest, his arm slung into his Haori like a makeshift sling to lazily carry himself. Though he was busy with his job, his free time allowed him to take this long walks through the beautiful world they called home. Yet the clock for Taiyo to simply let others fight his battles was running out. His footfalls through the forest were slow, steady and at ease. He walked with the ease of a man who did not have stress and a life well lived. The beautiful world about him eased his weary body, the scars of his last attempt at saving the world still fresh upon his chest. He was recovering but that mark would never go away he was told... A lasting reminder that he let a child fight in his stead. He bore his shame out in the open, a mark for any warrior to see his failures. He was ashamed of it, but he would not hide forever. Then the voice of Callion, a friend he had met recently could be heard. Where it was from he did not know, but if that little ghost trick was anything to go by. Taiyo was not sure he should be surprised by anything that man could do... He seemed to have every trick in the book. His first few sentences drawing a frown from Taiyo. He stood silently listening. When the man admitted he couldn't do it alone, that was what drew a surprised look to the mans face. But as the message went on, the sword monk could only place a hand on his swords hilts. The battered handles almost seeming to repair themselves as Taiyo feels his pride as a warrior being called on. When the voice went silent, the monk remained stationary for a long time, his eyes looking off into the sky while he stayed lost in thought. The area about Taiyo was deathly silent, as if waiting on him to answer. He lowered his eyes, gaze staring at the ground. He was no warrior, no hero. He couldn't even fight some half crazed general, surely he wouldn't be needed... Others would rise to the call surely... So he kept walking until he arrived at his destination... a place he had been meaning to visit for several months. He let his hand rest upon the tombstone as he kneeled down by it. The surface was covered in moss and its surface so dirty one could not see its marble clearly. Taiyo pulled a small box from his Haori before gently unfolding the kit delicately. He did not rush, taking one piece out at a time and placing them around the box in a neat orderly fashion. He did not speak, he did not look up, only worked. His brushes made short work of the marble, the moss removed with his hands. Scrubbing pads to deep clean the marble. As he worked the name was revealed upon the surface. Fiona Kodoma The monk gently ran a thumb over her name, a look of clear love and devotion in his eyes as he made sure to take extra care not to damage even a pebble of the marble. He was the only one who visited, his wife had lived alone with no one. Only he took care of her tombstone... if he were to die... she would truly be all alone in this world again. A single tear ran down his cheek as he was torn with indecision. Could he really leave the young to fight in his stead again? Could he ever face HER if he did? Shadows hung over Taiyo's eyes as he looked down from her tombstone, feeling the weight of her gaze even in the after life. He had the power to help people, he could save them... If he just buckled down. Taiyo was a free spirit, he did not train because he was lazy. He didn't grow stronger as he didn't hold that passion in his heart, not like others did. But remembering his friends voice pleading for people to help him... Arlo flashed into his mind then... He let that young man die because he couldn't stop him... No... He wouldn't do so again... Hina and Yugure, his blades began to violently vibrate in their sheaths. Their handles rattling as if being jostled by some unseen force. Taiyo would reach down to draw Hina, the flame spirit of summer Emerging behind him like a loving motherly spirit. Her arms draping themselves over his shoulders, her eyes looking at the tombstone as she smiled her warm smile. The blade in his hand rattling violently enough that it was trying to escape his palm. "What will you do? Callion calls to you... Will you not take up arms once more? You know what must be done."Hina stated as she let her hand rest upon his blade, a warm glow beginning to radiate outwards from the monk as his sword burst into flames unlike anything before. The light bouncing off the black marble of his wife's grave. He felt his will harden, his determination setting in like stone for the bedrock. He could not hide from this path any longer... he was to give himself to his training after all. His master would laugh at this, but he doubted the old man would have been bitter. Slowly as he felt himself resolving to fight once more, to defend the weak his blade began to literally repair itself before his very eyes. The super heated metal seeming to rejuvenate itself by feeding on the strong will to protect. Hina smiled as a single tear fell down her face, knowing how much this path pained Taiyo to turn to... He would be forced to hurt people to protect people... Such was the contradiction he had failed to resolve on the day his master had asked him to step up as a warrior. Instead he had found his wife, and now... now it was time. Standing up slowly, flames surrounding Taiyo as an inferno, blazing around him in a vortex of fire. He was not strong now, but... He lifted his blade to gaze down at it once more, his eyes unshadowed now as he held the determined eyes of a warrior. With one final moment, Taiyo placed his hand upon his wifes grave, its spotless surface reflecting the man as he marched forward to protect the world he and his wife loved. His black haori opened at the chest to bear his mark of shame... a mark he would carry with him into battle. His vow...

Callion's calling came loud and clear to Opherla whenever she was getting Liek set up to start training. She had promised him and ABAS a training session, but with the threats at stake, Opherla had to postpone that until after she saw Callion again. She had to go and see him. Here. Now. In this moment. She had to see him again, receive his guidance again. And show him just what she was doing to be prepared.
Her brown hair and blue eyes portrayed a mix of concern and fear as she made her way to Korin's Forest, the spiritual energies returning and gracing her yet again as the energies now portrayed urgency and imminence in the coming light of the new threat, as Opherla soon landed in Korin's Forest, and closed her eyes to focus... to focus on where Callion's calling was, where his presence was in the current moment. Once she locked on to it, she would hurry that way to Callion, to see him yet again in a moment where things were in dire straits.
As Opherla arrived to wherever Callion's projection was, or where it was the strongest, Opherla would be attentive to everything Callion wanted to say. She wanted him to know she was ready. Her heart fluttered with love and desire for him again, sure, but those sorts of feelings would have to wait. Right now, the world was in danger perhaps, and Opherla needed to be present for this roll call.
"Callion, I'm here... I'm ready.... Maybe not in strength, but spirit, I'm ready to do what you need me to do to keep Earth safe." Opherla declared as she was ready to see who else answered Callion's call.

"Apologies Master Shen, but I must leave now. I must meet Callion to discuss the content of his message. My duties towards the Blacksite take precedence over training for now. I will gladly accept whatever punis-"
"That will not be necessary my cockroach," Shen said, more serious than ABAS had ever seen him. He rose from his cross-legged position, his expression inscrutable behind his tinted sunglasses "I don't like Roshi one bit. If I had the chance, I would slaughter that old fool for having the nerve to teach his students all that garbage about tranquility and self-reflection. However, that doesn't mean all of his brains have leaked out of his ears. He would never agree to teach someone with poor judgment or the tendency to pull a prank on this scale. And, if this is really the "Callion" he was bragging about a few months back, then it is even less likely this is a hoax. Go, and report back quickly. If what he is saying is true, we will have to accelerate your training."
ABAS looked at Shen for several slow seconds. He had never seen the old master act like this before. While he had calmed down a bit since he had become an official student of the Crane school, the old man had only ever begrudgingly agreed with him on anything. If even he was treating this message with seriousnes, it was likely the situation was truly dire.
"Well don't just stand there like an idiot! Go!" Shen shouted, pointing towards the exit.
"Yes Master Shen."
ABAS's lime green aura tore at the sky as he shot across the planet at maximum speed. It only took him a few minutes to move from the Northern Forest where Shen's dojo lay to the fabled land of Korin's forest. Even if he couldn't lock onto Callion's familiar telepathic signature, the sheer number of incoming warriors made the location rather obvious. ABAS swooped low over the treeline, landing lightly only a short distance from the Sayian monk's projected form.
He nodded absently at the familiar form of Opherla, noting the woman's changed experience and significant increase in strength. However, that was not his focus at the moment.
"I am here Master Callion. What is the nature of this threat? How long do we have until it arrives?"

Searching for the dragon balls across the earth was a chore for the Saiyan Queen but one that must be done if she was to achieve her Goals of reforming the Saiyans into a noble race. She disliked being on earth for so long and was starting to return to Vegeta so she could focus on other pursuits and...maybe find her wayward daughter. "" May.. were on the galaxy did you go?""
A sudden pressure in her head caused the Saiyan Queen to tense up ready to defend herself before she realized who it was. "" Callion? i..."" Zaks quieted as she listened to the message realizing that he was not exactly talking to just herself or able to answer her directly. It only took her a moment to make up her mind to go to the location he and shown her. Leaving her Commander in charge she left her warship and flew as fast as she could breaking the sound barrier a she went. She had a found memory of the warrior despite only meeting him one time before now and she knew he was not wasting her time. This so called threat that could threaten him would threaten Vegeta as well and if not then earth. Zaks had not been just talking when she had said she wanted to ally again with earth and she would not let her allies fall.
It took moments for the Queen to arrive at the site Callion had mentioned but dispite that she found she was not the first to arrive. Opherla the wolf Girl who Zaks had wronged stood there drastically stronger then she was before along side ABAS. She was not surprised by the latter's arrival but the half Saiyan did surprise her. The girl had seemed scared of many things the last she had seen her and tired of fighting or failure and it was good to see her trying again or she hoped anyway.
But it was the last figure that really startled her. it was man that she did not know all the well and not by name but she would never forget him and Yangcong had shared a similar fate. Like her general it had been her fault for his condition but she was glad that he seemed to have healed mostly were it seemed Yangcong did not.
"" I hope I made it in time to catch Callions message..Opherla...ABAS..Si...Sir..is this all that came?""
As Zaks watched them her mind in deep thought a hint of fear passed through her. Was this all that had mustered for Callions call? If it was then she doubted they would win vs whatever was coming. But she would not run. No she would stand and fight with them to the bitter end for no other reason then she had promised to save the earth.

The first warning Earth had had that anyone planned to invade a hundred years earlier had been the disappearance of a handful of children. While alarming no one saw it for what it had been, an abduction by an alien species. It was too subtle, but a prelude it was. Luckily for Earth, it was also the biggest blunder that alien species performed in that invasion, with three of those abducted children being key to turning back the invasion during the first open conflict.
Today was not like back then, when his grandmother, one of those three abductees, joined together with others to form the J Numbers and repel the Fury invasion before it even became public knowledge. With the issuing of the warning to all those living on Earth, there wasn’t a soul that wouldn’t recognise it when it came, even if they dismissed it.
After all, why would the average person take a random telepathic message seriously?
Liek was not among those who ignored it. But he did hesitate. He wasn’t anywhere near strong enough to contribute, if what he knew of the likes of Opherla and ABAS where anything to go off of. But even so, he couldn’t just ignore it and just not show up. Even if his being there was only to confirm he intended to stay on Earth, train and keep the homefront safe.
...Part of it was fear. Part of it was justified by only ever claiming to want to protect the Earth…
Even so, he couldn’t just NOT show up.
As such he did just that, landing in the clearing near ABAS and Opherla. He noticed the others he didn’t recognise, but could feel where much, much stronger then him. Biting his lip he ducked his head in frustration and embarrassment. Among these juggernauts he was as nothing.
...He should have brought towels. At least then he’d feel like he was contributing somehow.

Post by Callion on Nov 27, 2023 4:41:48 GMT -5
As Callion stood amidst the gathering of warriors in Korin's Forest, his eyes scanned the arrivals, gratitude evident in his expression. Taiyo, the disciplined Human Monk, Opherla, the fierce Saiyan wolf hybrid, ABAS, the enigmatic bio-android, Liek, the Saiyan demon hybrid, and even Zaks, the formidable Queen of the Saiyans—they had answered the call, their presence a testament to their bravery.
Yet, despite the formidable assembly, a flicker of concern etched across Callion's features. He had hoped for a larger response, knowing the magnitude of the impending threat. But time was of the essence, and he couldn't dwell on what wasn't.
"Thank you all for answering the call," Callion began, his voice carrying a weight of urgency. "I had hoped for more, but your courage speaks volumes, and so I will not waste anytime and get straight to the point."
He gathered himself, preparing to disclose the dire situation they faced. However, before he could start, his recounting of events was interrupted by the memory of the fateful encounter on Yardrat.
"I was training on Yardrat when Majin Liari attacked," Callion recounted, his tone tinged with the gravity of the situation. "Our fight was cut short by an overwhelming power surge from Namek."
His gaze fixed upon the assembled warriors, each one now a crucial part of the impending struggle. "This upheaval is orchestrated by a Changeling known as Artic. He exploited the Namekian Dragonballs, granting himself unprecedented power, becoming the most formidable force in the universe." Callion's voice grew heavier as he continued. "But it gets far worst then that I am afraid to say. Artic has also used his wish to get his hands on the fabled seed of the tree of might, granting him immeasurable strength, but at the expense of an entire planet. I am sorry to say that Namek faces annihilation."
A somber silence enveloped the gathering as Callion held a moment of reflection, the weight of the impending catastrophe heavy upon him.
"In a week's time, Namek will cease to exist,"
Callion announced, his voice resonating with a sense of urgency. "And I fear the destructive force will then turn toward both Planet Vegeta and Earth. Our homes are in peril." The gravity of the situation hung heavy in the air as the warriors absorbed the dire truth. Callion's resolve, now more resolute than ever, ignited a spark of determination within him.
"You must act swiftly," he declared. "I ask all of you to know each other, reach out to anyone – friend or foe. Put aside any past squabbles and work together and get stronger – a lot stronger... Surpass me in power if you have to."
With unwavering determination, Callion looked to the gathered fighters, knowing that their combined strength would be their greatest asset against the encroaching darkness. His attention turned to Zaks, looking at the Queen of the Saiyans herself; “Your Majesty.” Callion spoke to her, not as a friend like he would normally do for any individual, but in a formal matter, referring to her title as the Queen of the Warrior Race. “I must respectfully request something that goes against everything we Saiyans stand for… I ask that you begin a full-scale evacuation of everylast Saiyan from planet Vegeta and have them all evacuated to Earth.”
Callion requested of Zaks, something that was no small feat, if anything, it was a very dangerous, deadly and otherwise insane motion that a Saiyan would ask for the Warrior Race to flee – no… Tactical Retreat from their home planet to make their way to Earth, at least for the time being. “My training here on Planet Yardrat will have to be limited for now, I tend to pick up one last technique before making my way to Planet Vegeta myself…. I have decided that should Artic find himself on Planet Vegeta first, I will try and buy everyone on Earth as much time as possible to get stronger while I fight him on Vegeta.”
Callion made his announcement, as he fully intends to fight Artic on Planet Vegeta should he decide to arrive on the Saiyan homeworld first, allowing everyone valuable time to get stronger. Whether he lived or died didn't matter to him anymore. He already died once, he is not afraid of death a second time. "For the rest of you. Those who will not train, I ask of you to use this valuable time to find the Earths Dragonballs, hide them from Artic. No matter what happens, he must not be allowed to use the wish from the orbs. If you have to, use the wish of whatever you desire on the Earths Dragonballs... Whatever you wish for, power, immortality, anything you can think of, just make sure you do so, before he can ever have the chance to do so himself."

The monk was silent as all the others gathered, he wasn't the first but he had arrived around the same time as most of them. He stood silently as he watched all those gathered, a smile on his face while he kept to himself. He had much on his mind, but even more when Zaks arrived. Had he seen her before this, he might have left on the spot. He didn't trust the queen of the saiyans, not after she had employed such a man to attack their city. He recalled her occupation and the fight that ultimately lead to so many dying... all because people acted first before talking. Whoever had set up the battle, was surely laughing at them all now.
Still he remained, turning his eyes from the woman to focus on Callion. A man with a lot to say and Taiyo listened. The man spoke of a distant threat, one they needed to band together to defeat. Taiyo rarely thought things were so simple. It wasn't till Callion mentioned bringing all the saiyans to earth, to which Taiyo piped up.
"Hey... not to uh ruin that little plan... But why would you put everyone on one planet as a big target... if the enemy can destroy worlds then wouldn't it be better to have them remain where they are? The enemy will have to choose a world regardless, why make one more enticing to end?"
If they couldn't stop the enemy, then why bring everyone where they were all going to die? He didn't understand that plan. Sure they were suppose to get stronger but if they failed? At least the target was two separate places, making complete annihilation that much more difficult. True Taiyo know that sounded cruel but he didn't see a point uprooting an entire species and bringing them to a foreign world that already disliked them...
"You are simply saying things that make logical sense but when broken down is silly. The saiyans will reject this idea anyways, its pointless to tell them to run when instead you could focus on learning more about the threat."
He understood the idea of protecting the people, but if the world could explode... there was no where safe. Migration was pointless and would be a needlessly chaotic amount of effort. Callion wanted to hand the enemy a single rock with two birds if they failed. He wasn't sure about anyone elses thoughts, but if they failed at least only one species would die. Taiyo was different than the last time Callion had seen him, the air about him was much more serious unlike his usual care free attitude. It was not just usual happiness that was gone, but he stood with conviction he lacked before.
But despite that Taiyo soon fell silent, having said his peace. Callion had said his point and Taiyo his, now he wanted to know everyone elses thoughts.

Before she responded to Callion, Opherla decided to look around at who was gathered. Luckily, it was all people she had met. People she knew. People she was happy to see fighting for the good of Earth.
Taiyo was here, and Opherla remembered him for being the kind monk she met back in Gingertown. She still hoped he would find somehow to fix his swords, but Opherla was at least happy to see him ready to fight for Earth in the coming dangers.
ABAS was here too. Opherla may disagree with him a little bit, she may find his methods a bit... unusual, but she knew he was here on his prime directive: Fighting dor Earth and defending it. As long as protecting the planet was his goal, Opherla could overlook everything else about him that she didn't quite like, because in the end, if he wanted to protect this planet as badly as Opherla did, who was Opherla to stand against him over some clashing viewpoints?
Then there was Liek... Liek, the boy who was after her heart, and the other person in Opherla's life she didn't mind giving her heart to in genuine love. The boy was still inexperienced and young, but Opherla knew that his noble heart would not let this threat go unanswered. He wanted to train to protect Opherla, and Opherla wanted to train to protect him, and also Earth. Seeing Liek here made her heart flutter with joy, knowing he was fully committed to this task.
And then there was Zaks... Zaks, the Saiyan Queen who believed she had wronged Opherla, and Opherla didn't see it as such. It was a warm sight, seeing Zaks here among the group, ready to hear Callion's words. And Opherla was more than ready to help her, and everyone else that was here, do their part to defend the Earth.
Then came the news from Callion that shook Opherla right out of her good thoughts. Namek was doomed. Opherla was stunned. Namek!? Like, the planet that Acsion came from? THAT Namek!? Speaking of that guy, Opherla hadn't seem him in ages... she wondered if... no, nevermind, stay focused on what Callion says, Opby! As Callion continued on, Opherla listened intently to his directions. He was telling them to not only continue their training, but gather the Dragon Balls, and for Zaks, to go and secure those on her planet. The Dragon Balls... Opherla had only heard about those. But she knew that the Intergalactic Market sold Dragon Radars. It was time to get herself one then, as long as she wasn't training.
"I hear you loud and clear, Callion." Opherla stated firmly, as she turned to hear Taiyo's words as she nodded her head for a moment, before then shaking it. "Taiyo, the Saiyans obey their ruler above everything. If this threat is as bad as it is, some of them will surely see reason, at least, that's what I hope they'll do. But the more lives we can save from destruction from this threat, the better off we'll be." Opherla stated, as she soon turned to Liek and ABAS.
"Liek, ABAS, come to my place after we're done here. I have a Gravity Chamber we can use to bolster ourselves for the upcoming fight. If the three of us use it, we can get stronger very quickly. I just hope it isn't too late to make the most of it..." Opherla remarked, before turning to Taiyo. "If you want to use it, you are more welcome to join us, Taiyo. Or will you search for the Dragon Balls?" Opherla asked.

ABAS gave a respectful nod towards the Sayian Queen as she flew up. Despite their separate allegiances, ABAS had found Zaks to be both strong and wise, the exact traits he most admired in a leader. She had also assisted him quite a bit in his early training, so it could be said that he owed her quite a bit. "Queen Zaks. A pleasure as always. If only we met under less...dire circumstances."
Before he had time to converse further however, Callion began speaking. The Sayian Monk spoke of a massive power surge he felt while fighting Liari (ABAS could not even muster up surprise that Liari had somehow managed to teleport across the galaxy and back). Apparently, this surge was borne from Changeling named Arctic utilizing so-called "Dragon Balls". ABAS frowned, flickering through the Blacksite's database for mention of such devices. There was a few myths and legends of course, but he hardly thought Callion expected them to follow archeological news. Was there something more to the term he was supposed to get?
ABAS' curiosity was stifled by Callion's dire warning. Whatever the Dragon Balls were, their power combined with the consumption and destruction of Namek had boosted this "Arctic" to the point that Callion seemed to think he had no chance against him. ABAS couldn't even comprehend the power required to scare the Sayian Monk to the point of sacrificing himself, but it had to be truly something. ABAS began streaming a recording back to the Blacksite's HQ, even as his mind raced with possibilities.
If Callion thinks this Arctic will come after Earth, I must treat the possibility as an absolute certainty. Callion is not the type to cause world-wide panic on a hunch. However...if this Arctic comes to Earth, I will have no choice but to throw my life away.
It was a grim thought. ABAS was no coward, far from it. He would fight and bleed for his masters as long as they held his leash taught. But if what Callion was saying was true, then it wouldn't be a fight. This Arctic could probably blow him away with a flick of a finger, less than that even. If Arctic was powerful enough to cause warriors on the level of Liari to despair, there was absolutely nothing the bio-android could do. The day that Arctic arrived on Earth would likely be his death. Unlike others here, ABAS had no choice in the matter: his programming would kill him if he did anything else. Unless he managed to slip his leash before then....
ABAS shelved his plans for a moment, turning back towards the present. He was about to open his mouth to point out the obvious flaw when an unfamiliar human spoke up, neatly taking ABAS' entire argument.
"I must concur Master Callion. To bring the Sayians here now would only cause greater strife and internal conflict, let alone grouping all of Arctic's targets in one place. If they must be evacuated, it makes far more sense to move them to a planet Arctic knows nothing about to buy them time. However, we also cannot discard the possibility that this Arctic has abilities like yours or mine. He may very well be able to hear any plan we make for all we know. I have no data on what is possible at that level of power." ABAS said frankly. He threw Opherla a look. "As for the Sayian's willingness, well, I am sure there are others here that have more data than I. However, if we take the average Sayian as a benchmark, I highly doubt a significant majority would be willing to abandon their home without a fight."
"To be brutally honest, stopping Arctic will likely require the sacrifice of many lives to buy the strongest time to train. From what I can gather, these Dragon Balls are wish-granters yes? If so, they can be used to repair any damage Arctic causes. The most important thing, then, is to group together our strength and increase it as much as possible. As such, I must object to you dying on Vegeta in that scenario Master Callion. Given the Changelings' standard psychological profile, Arctic will likely take time enough gloating over the Sayian's demise. To throw away the lives of one of our strongest fighters for people that you would not be able to save, and that can be wished back afterwards seems foolhardy. Especially when you would only be able to delay him for a few hours at most." ABAS knew this viewpoint wouldn't be popular, but it made the most sense. They didn't have the manpower to waste on heroic self-sacrifices. "After all, if we lose Earth, there will be no repairing Arctic's rampage. Concentrating our power gives us the greatest probability of victory."
ABAS turned to Opherla, "I will gladly take you up on your offer. We must increase our strength as much as possible if we are to resist Arctic's assault."

Zaks smiled at the Bio weapon that stood before here and gave a friendly wave. She had come to respect the being after spending some time training with him. Zaks loved training Saiyans to become stronger but they often were to impulsive for the much older Half breed. On the other Hand ABAS was very Pragmatic and driven. Something that she enjoyed watching to no end. "" Hello ABAS. It is good to see you again.... You have grown very much since I last saw you."" It was the briefest moment that Zaks felt a simple Joy that some one other then liari was getting stronger and might be a challenge to her. Looking to her left just a little more She examined Opherla more and realized she had not noticed with everything else just how much the teenager had grown. No she was wrong she was a young woman now and growing into her power very well. "" You have grown... I think you could be a super Saiyan with the right motivation. "" I..."" Before the Queen could go further Callion spoke up with news that drew her attention from the young warrior. To Say the Queen of the Saiyans was stunned was an understatement at what the monk had just told her. Nameks Destruction? A being that was so strong that Callion did not think he could beat it? No it was much worse then that. Callion one of the few people that Zaks would dare say as strong as she was...no stronger then she was was afraid. Sure he hid it well and his duty made him act. But Zaks could see it or maybe she just pictured it there to comfort herself. But that changed nothing if he thought this group could not win vs them. What was she to do? Asking the saiyans to retreat when they had just started to buld up there planet was... probably a long shot no impossible. Some would listen but for the most part she knew they would not want to abandon there home much less without a fight. Even more would not abandon there home over a maybe Vegeta would be invaded first. buuut... "" I..... Cant do that Callion... they wont listen not even to me..but... that doesn't mean we cant do anything. We can Still Save a lot of them."" Zaks brow furrow as she went into deeper thought her mouth moving speaking to herself as she thought. The Queen was so deep in planning for a moment she did not see what was in front of her as she mapped logistics and guessed how her people would feel. Surprisingly she came to a conclusion quickly her eyes Refocusing Back on the monk. "" Callion...Can you speak for me? To the Saiyan people like you did to draw all of us here? I cant make them follow what you want but I can save more then a few."" Zaks would wait until the monk listened to her request after all. It was really the only thing she could do regarding all that was happening. Plus she doubted the Monk would turn down her request. When she knew her voice or at least her message would be delivered She spoke Calmly but anyone who listened could hear the fire behind her Voice. "" People of Vegeta.. this is your Queen. ... Today I bring news of war to our doorstep. The PTO or the being known as Artic has gained power beyond anything we can muster. That is right... some of you know that Myself and General Shinso have become super Saiyans and even combining our power... we can not even fight him not and win anyway as we are now."" Zaks let that sink into the Saiyans of her home world. She could feel there disgust even here for she felt it just as much as them making her blood boil. Taking a deep breath she started speaking again now with an edge to her words that did nothing to hide her anger. "" Many of you dislike me for being a half breed... Many of you think That i am not a true Saiyan and that i throw away my pride to any Convenience just like the former Monarch. I have even heard how I only care about the money. Well now... You find out were i do Have Saiyan Pride. This Artic is going to attack Ehier Vegeta or Earth next. "" Turning to the group that stood before her her eyes full of pain and choked up emotion looked at them gauging them fully. They hid nothing of the Pain behind them as they started to speak again She never felt more like a traitor in her life. She never felt more regret then she did with her next few words. She never Felt more weak then she did as she spoke.
"" I cant Arrive there before he does and fight for my world. The humans want you to run away... come here to earth. There is no shame retreating to fight again and win later. But i know my Saiyan pride would never let me leave Vegeta to burn with you all there. I would fight to the Death before i let that happen and yet.... I cant Save it."" Tears of frustration and anger formed in the Queens Eyes as her Hands clenched so tight her razor sharp nails cut her skin leaving blood to drip freely into her palms. Looking up she hoped her people could see her. She hoped they could hear and See her through Callion. She didnt fully understand what he could do or not do. But she hopped they could see her. "" So Your Queen Says fight... Defend our home in my stead. Rebel and show this freak our pride as Warriors. And know that if you choose to run away to earth to face him hear with me there will be no shame. Know that I Will avenge you... Know i will Find the power to Rise above a super Saiyan And erase this Freak from the universe."" Taking a deep breath she spoke again more in control this time."" But no matter what happens we cant allow our selves to be wiped out. All the children on Vegeta need to be sent away to hide with proper Care takers. They will be recalled back once we have Secured our future. "" Zaks knew what she had said would condemn many of them to die. But she had given an out to everyone she could and still upheld the Saiyan pride. She had sworn Vengeance on Artic if he did destroy Vegeta in her absence and more then that the weight in her pocket let her know that she had a plan. She would bring them all back once they were Safe. "" All Hail the Saiyans. ""
With that she stopped talking and looked to those around her. She knew not everyone...no most of them would not be happy with her action but she did not have much choice even if they did not understand it. Slowly she looked back at Callion her eyes sharping. "" I will be trying to Ascend to the next Level here on out...and Collecting the dragon balls... I have more then a few in my possession already. I had originally intended to revive everyone that had died to Liari and myself in north City. Now... I might just have to wish for more power unless I can find some way to acquire more power to make sure Artic is destroyed."" Taking a deep Sigh she Asked a question she had not yet heard from anyone or an Answer from Callion himself.
"" Will Liari Be joining us in the defense of earth? I assume you spoke of it when you Fought her.?""

Liek didn’t know much of anything about the Saiyans and it wasn’t like he’d met a great many of them in his life time. He’d barely known his father for a few days before the man died. He knew Opherla was a hybrid like himself, but the fact barely registered in his mind since she didn’t have the visual cues of a Saiyan. The only pure blood Saiyans he’d ever met where Callion and Salada, two wildly different people on completely different ends of the personality scale. Everyone was talking about whether the Saiyans would or wouldn’t retreat from their homeworld out of pride and stubbornness.
That much, at least, he could kind of understand.
The Fury had refused to abandon their homeworld after Ga-Ravan’s final act of spite had accelerated the planet’s demise from decades to days. Pretty much the entire surviving population, men, women and children alike, chose, of their own will, to remain on the dying world to the last. They could have evacuated some of their population, the option was there. The Gau-la-Furia could have carried hundreds of thousands, even millions, to safety inside the stasis pods that where left inside the six arms. But they elected to remain, both out of pride of their heritage, and shame for attempting an unjust invasion of the Earth.
But that wasn’t the only news, another planet, one called Namek, was as good as gone. Destroyed by the monstrous threat that was intent on coming both the Saiyan homeworld and to the Earth. And there was Liek, weakest of the warriors present, standing among juggernauts being confronted with a threat far beyond anything he’d imagined he’d have to face so early in his life.
If he had been born a regular human his greatest concern right now would be homework and dating. But here he was set to face a threat to survival of all life in the Galaxy.
Understandably the boy’s throat ran dry, his attempts to swallow only make it feel like his throat was constricting more. His skin paled as a cold sweat shimmered on his skin and his breath quickened. But even as the cold grip of fear tightened he didn’t stop thinking, processing what was being said.
Despite his concerns he still found the strength to say, “I agree with ABAS.” He may surprise the bugman, but the idealistic boy had actually been pondering what he’d just learned about the Dragon Balls and had reached the same conclusion, “I-It’s the best way forward to ensure we can save everyone in the long run.” He tried to explain, stumbling over his words, not entirely sure if these people, all of whom seemed to be more important, stronger, or both then he was would even listen to a weak little child.
“If we hold the Dragon Balls in reserve we can fix any damage to Earth, then bring back Vegeta and it’s people and then Namek and it’s people.” He looked over at the Saiyan Queen and immediately what little confidence he’d built up with his last statement fled, why would a Queen listen to him? “M-making a wish for strength w-would be a waste of resources.”

Callion stood amidst the gathering, attentive as each warrior spoke, their voices echoing with wisdom and determination. Queen Zaks, the embodiment of Saiyan strength and leadership, voiced her concerns, followed by Taiyo, Opherla, ABAS, and Liek, each offering their perspectives on the imminent threat posed by Artic and the critical need for action. Their words resonated deeply with Callion. While he had initially intended to remain on Vegeta, guarding the Dragonballs, their collective wisdom and unwavering resolve began to sway his conviction. Several factors were clear: The first notification is that Saiyans, are very, very stubborn. Even with their ruler Queen Zaks herself, if she were to have given the order, none of them would’ve followed her will regardless, the other factors of bringing the entire Saiyan race to Earth… Admittedly, not the best idea, the wide spread panic…. Eeeeh, that can definitely cause a planet wide panic… And of course, the Dragonballs, being used immediately instead of reserve…. A pro? Anyone who wanted to use them would have to wait a month or so before they can become active again? The cons? Well, one can only hope that Artic does not have a dragon radar on his person, because if he did? Might as well hand it over to him on a silver platter. He listened intently, acknowledging their shared concern that his plan might not be the most prudent course of action. It became evident that unity and a consolidated effort were crucial to face the impending danger. He listened, whilst looking towards Zaks, and provided her with assistance, using his technique whilst within a Force Ghost like state to make her speech towards the Saiyans on Planet Vegeta. It was a heavy heart to have performed such an action, but even he could not help but burden on his shoulders, knowing that this was going to play out the exact same way as what Frieza did to Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Finally, after careful consideration and reflection, Callion made a decision. "It is as expected. I thank you all for your wisdom," Callion declared, his voice carrying the weight of his resolution. "Everyone, I will heed your counsel. I shall return to Earth and stand alongside each of you in this battle against Artic when he arrives on Earth."
He met their eyes, a silent gratitude evident in his gaze. "The Dragonballs will remain hidden, kept in reserve until the moment is right, until we've vanquished Artic and secured the safety of our worlds." His tone firm, Callion stressed his unwavering resolve. "However, my point stands—we must prepare. Training, readiness, and locating the Dragonballs before Artic does are crucial. Our unified strength will be our greatest weapon against the looming threat." With a nod of determination, Callion affirmed their united purpose. "We move forward together. Let us begin our preparations immediately. The fate of our home’s rests in our hands, we only have one chance at this, and I cannot face him alone... Speaking of which…" That was the moment when Callion watched Zaks asked a question and when he heard it, he could only give one answer. “Yes. Liari will join us on the defence of Earth.”The Saiyan Astral Projection gave an answer that was directly to the point. “Liari and I have agreed to a truce. Artic is far too dangerous of an opponent to ignore, nor can any one of us fight him alone. As such, Liari has agreed to behave herself and come to fight him alongside us the moment he arrives on Earth. As such, and as many of you who have their own opinions of the Majin. I ask you to respect the truce. Treat her well, and welcome her. We will need all the strength we can muster in order to handle the Changeling menace.” Callion spoke, explaining the situation to everyone in regards to liari, wanting to see their initial reaction to such a revelation.

Taiyo could only listen on with nothing but his concern laid bare across his face. This world truly was beyond cruel to everyone here, and those that were to blame boiled his blood like none other. Yet he was powerless, nothing could be done by the monk at this point. He had witnessed a queen say farewell to her people, and then Callion spoke of Liari joining the defense of earth. At this point the monk was at a complete lose for words. This whole event had just spiraled out of his control and he couldn't possibly understand why he was even here. Zaks was far stronger than him, Callion was far stronger and this Liari was stronger than them both. As far as the monk knew, this were the most powerful people in the universe.
His eyes half lidded as he realized their purpose here, and he was not amused by his conclusion. They couldn't possibly get strong enough to stop this thing in time, it was death coming. This whole situation had gone from a simple, "a thing is coming to kill us" to "we are absolutely fucked enough that Liari is helping." His amusement over their whole situation was gone, and he was beginning to wonder if he shouldn't just spend his final days with his wifes grave if things were so dire. The human didn't like how fast this whole thing was going, and the implication that they were all going to die... but he supposed laying down to die was never his cup of tea anyways.
Sure he had come to that conclusion many times before, like when he had saw the blue thing attacking a city only to be stopped by Zerori. He had known he would die when he went to meet the queen and her general. He supposed marching to meet death itself was not so much different than just walking into a fire wall... His scar he supposed would never be able to let him rest.
"Well this went from a semi-pleasant talk about death and doom to, we are absolutely doomed. But I was never one to shy away from it. Don't care for the company we keep but I'll get stronger."
Taiyo straightened himself up then, running a hand along his chin in thought about where he was going to go train.
"But as fun as it is to listen to this, it only makes me want to train more. So I think I'll find a nice quiet spot to... i dunno, try to at least be more of a needle in its thigh? Er... it was a man wasn't? Bah can't remember."
Taiyo threw his hands up in defeat knowing he couldn't reach their level fast enough. But he would certainly try and with a wave farewell, he headed off towards the east. His swords rattling violently in their sheaths while he walked.
"Be well Callion, I'll try to at least be presentable enough for an honorable death."
With that, Taiyo laughed.

Opherla's eyes widened when she heard the revelation of what Callion revealed as a complete bombshell. It shook Opherla's entire core, her entire being, and reminded her of what had happened in South City... a time when she was weaker, a time when she was helpless. A time... when Liari was destroying the world. And now, all of a sudden... The monster who destroyed South City, the Majin Opherla tried to refriend alongside Moire...
"Liari is... joining us?" Opherla asked in shock, looking at Callion with widened eyes an a shocked expression and tone. Her mind raced. On one hand, Opherla was a bit scared of the revelation, due to what she knew about Liari and how... unpredictable Liari could be. On the other hand, someone as strong as she is would definitely turn the tides in this situation, and Opherla would just have to be fine with that. As she took a deep breath in and exhaled to collect herself, before she looked at Callion.
"I'll welcome her properly if I see her. Knowing she's on our side, with how strong she is... it's, in a way, relieving to me." Opherla declared. "It means we have a very powerful ally at our disposal, and for that I'm very grateful." Opherla stated, soon looking over at Taiyo who was getting ready to leave, as Opherla nodded and looked over to Liek and ABAS.
"Speaking of training, you two, we need to get some training in. Swing on by later and I'll have my Gravitron ready for the two of you to use." Opherla stated with a smile, before she then looked at Zaks. "Zaks, I'm thankful you're here and willing to help us. I promise you, we will work together to save as many of the Saiyans as we can. I promise you that, Zaks. Let's work together to save this planet." Opherla spoke with a wide smile, before turning to Liek and ABAS. "I'll see the two of you at my place. Good luck everyone... and I hope that when this threat arrives, we'll all be ready to battle him."
With those words, Opherla took off to the skies and left for her home to prepare her Gravitron for Liek and ABAS. She had so much on her mind right now, Liari helping them, the strength that Arctic could possess, Zaks and her relationship still up in the air. Opherla knew that last one couldn't be dealt with, not yet Right now, they all needed to prepare, and they all needed to get stronger.
...She just hoped Zaks didn't do anything reckless.
