High above the serene landscapes of Yardrat, bathed in the ethereal glow of its sun, a lone figure stood amidst the swirling energies. Callion, a Saiyan warrior of formidable strength and unwavering determination, had journeyed far from his planet he called home that was Earth to seek mastery in the arcane arts of the enigmatic Yardratians under the wisdom and recommendation of King Kai, his former master that he had learnt the technique of the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb itself.
His time on this distant planet had been marked by relentless training, the air crackling with energy as he pushed the boundaries of his own limitations. Under the guidance of Yardratian master Pybara – the very chieftain of the Yardratians, Callion immersed himself in their techniques, his Saiyan spirit driving him to excel, but also to the duty of those on Earth. He hopes to be back on Earth within a months time… Two months tops.
Amidst the verdant fields and ancient monoliths that dotted the landscape, Callion found solace in the disciplined routines of the Yardratian training grounds. He sparred with unparalleled focus, his movements fluid yet precise, striving to harness the essence of Spirit Control, a technique revered among the Yardratian elite and Master Pybara. The very technique that would set upon the foundations for Callion to learnt the art of Instant Transmission, Healing, Gigantification and many more.
However, amidst the rigors of his training, Callion possessed a gift—a unique ability that set him apart even among the Yardratians. Through the mastery of Astral Projection Telepathy, he could transcend the confines of his physical form. With a focused mind, he projected himself across the vast expanse of space, his consciousness traversing realms as though a phantom observing distant worlds. Funny enough, the original design of the technique originally came from the form of telepathy that King Kai currently has, but due to Callion ingenuity, he decided to not only improve the technique, but to master telepathy to such a degree, that he can appear as a form of a ghost while he is training at the same time!
It was during these moments of projection that Callion, amidst the final stages of his training, turned his attention towards Earth. With a subtle exertion of his mastered skill, he extended half of his consciousness, allowing it to drift like a Specter across galaxies, until it brushed against the familiar aura of his planet, he currently named home, whilst the other half focused on his training on the planet Yardrat.
From the serene confines of Yardrat, Callion gazed upon Earth, utilizing his Astral Projection Telepathy to peer into the unknown. What he witnessed there, hidden from the eyes of the inhabitants, remained a secret—a glimpse of events and energies that hinted at a future entwined with destiny.
With the impending completion of his training, Callion's thoughts lingered on Earth, a world he would soon return to—a world that held mysteries yet to unfold and he was going to find out soon, because there was a person on his mind that he wanted to know if she was doing well...
Opherla.
Meanwhile, The dense foliage of Korin's Forest whispered tales of ancient wisdom as the vibrant emerald canopies swayed gently in the breeze. Deep within this verdant sanctuary, where the energies of Earth converged in harmonious resonance, a spectral presence stirred—an ethereal silhouette that defied the laws of the physical realm.
Amidst the serene tranquility of Korin's Forest, Callion's astral projection materialized, an apparition woven from the threads of distant galaxies. His presence, akin to a specter of cosmic energy, shimmered amidst the ancient trees, a beacon of Saiyan strength amidst the Earthly tranquillity, his half consciousness being used to move the spectre around, witnessing Korin’s forest in all its beauty, hearing, seeing, smelling everything, whilst his body and his other half consciousness was busy training. Multitasking taken to the extreme.
The spectral figure observed with a sense of detachment, his gaze traversing the sprawling expanse of the forest. He witnessed the fluttering of leaves and the whispers carried by the wind, attuned to the pulse of life that thrived within this sacred grove.
From this otherworldly vantage point, Callion surveyed the land with an intensity that bridged the astral and material planes. His consciousness extended beyond mere observation, seeking the subtle undercurrents that ebbed and flowed across the Western Continent.
As he navigated through the astral echoes of Korin's Forest, Callion's ethereal form resonated with the energies of the Earth, the very essence that intertwined with the fabric of his being. The faintest tremors in the planet's ki signature did not escape his perceptive senses, hinting at disturbances yet to unfurl.
Though separated by vast distances, his connection to Earth remained steadfast—a bond forged through memories, trials, and an unyielding determination. Yet, as Callion lingered in this astral realm, a sense of urgency gnawed at him, an unspoken forewarning that urged him to remain vigilant.
His eyes bared witnessed to Korin’s Tower, the focal point of Korin's Forest, towering high above the lush greenery. It's an iconic landmark known for its incredible height and the challenging climb required to reach its summit. Indeed, this iconic building and structure has seen it’s fair share of history. Many martial artists, including Goku and other Z Fighters, have climbed Korin Tower to seek training from Korin himself. The climb is arduous and tests one's physical and mental fortitude.
Indeed, the forest is considered sacred, holding deep spiritual significance for those who seek enlightenment or spiritual growth. Many warriors and seekers journey here in search of inner strength and understanding, especially to have the opportunity to journey to Korin’s Tower and climb the perilous journey to meet the cat himself, and even go beyond to The Lookout.
Callion clasped his hands behind his back and closed his eyes whilst in his spectral astral force ghost state that was on Earth. He began to sense for Opherla’s energy, looking across the planet to find her. He smiled, she clearly gotten stronger the last time he saw her, that was for certain, especially since he took the girl out on a date… Hah, now that was a fun time. He decided to speak to her mind softly, like a gentle kiss to her soul.
“Opherla… It’s me… Callion.”
Callion spoke into her mind softly, his voice calm and gentle that fits the Saiyan for who he is. “When you have the time… Come to Korin’s Forest in the Western Continent… I wish to see you again Opherla.”

Opherla was currently rushing through the forested area that was Korin's Forest, having been called there by a voice that spoke dear to her heart, a voice she remembered long ago from her days of being a weaker girl. She wasn't as weak now as she was then, and she could hear his voice as clear as day. The day had beem unusual to say the least, first meeting a new hybrid Saiyan AND a Bio-Android, followed by a confrontation with a full blooded Saiyan and Liek causing more complications than good with his appearance there... now Opherla was being called by a voice she had longed to hear for a long time.
Callion.
Callion was among the friends Opherla held dearest to her heart. After all, he showed her around East City in all of its entirety, and also took her on a date that Opherla was not soon to forget. Hearing his voice again was like hearing the voice of an angel for the first time for Opherla, it touched her heart in ways she couldn't even explain. ...Did she actually love Callion? Is that why she felt this way? Or was it just because he was that nice of a guy? ...Perhaps it was love, considering how his voice greeted her very mind, body, and soul as it did a little while ago. Opherla didn't waste any time once she had heard what Callion asked her to do.
"Meet me in Korin's Forest."
And that's exactly what Opherla was doing right now, as she scanned over Korin's Forest liberally, from corner to corner, edge to edge, determined to find the one who plucked her heart strings during their date some time ago, as she was determined to find him, and see him once again. She could picture his face now... Opherla wondered how proud he would be to see her progress, to see just how much stronger she had become since they last saw one another so many months ago. Opherla bet he was as proud as ever to see her again, and Opherla would not keep a man such as him waiting on her to arrive. Opherla continued to look through Korin's Forest, finding it odd that she was unable to sense Callion... well, correction, she could sense his presence, but it wasn't a clear presence, like he was here, but he wasn't here. It was odd and very cumbersome for Opherla, trying to pinpoint just where he was in the expanse of Korin's Forest.
But at long last, several minutes of searching paid off for the lycan Saiyan as she finally located him. The man who called her here in the first place, the only man Opherla currently held any romantic feelings for... He was here, at long last, in her reach.
Callion.
"CALLION!!!!!" Opherla shouted out loud as she rushed to him with a bright smile and an energetic and longing gaze, rushing towards his projection as she stopped a mere couple of feet from him, before she descended to the ground, a blush on her face and a tearful smile greeting her dearest of dear friends she had made on this planet. Words couldn't describe what feelings Opherla felt in this moment, or even form in her mouth to start talking to Callion! It had been months! What would she say? What COULD she say? Her mind was blank as she looked upon Callion's handsome figure, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried her best to come up with something, anything, to say to him! After a long while of blissful silence, Opherla finally composed herself and produced the only thing she could to start this conversation anew.
"How are you doing?" Opherla would ask. A very cliché way of starting a conversation... but for Opherla, it was the only way she knew how to greet Callion after such a long time of not seeing him. And frankly, it was the best way to start off this conversation, she had beem wondering how Callion was doing after her five month traiming period, so right now was a good of a time as ever to ask him that question. All Opherla could feel now was, cheesy as it was to say it, a sense of warmth and compassion as she was in Callion's presence, all shown by her gentle smile and her gentle look in her shimmering golden eyes as she looked upon Callion.

Callion's ethereal presence shimmered amidst the serene confines of Korin's Forest, his astral form a manifestation of distant energies and spectral light (one could even say like a force ghost from star wars). As Opherla's exuberant voice echoed through the tranquil woods, the spectral figure turned, his gaze fixing upon the approaching lycan Saiyan. He watched as she rushed towards him, her bright smile and vibrant presence filling the astral space with a warmth that transcended the ethereal boundaries.
As Opherla descended to the ground and greeted him with a mix of excitement and a blush, Callion couldn't help but be moved by the genuine emotions reflected in her tearful smile. Her heartfelt shout of his name resonated with a familiarity that spoke of shared memories and a bond that had endured the test of time. The blush on Opherla's face mirrored the subtle tinge of warmth that touched Callion's ethereal form. Her question, a simple and sincere inquiry into his well-being, broke the silence that had enveloped them. Callion's response echoed through the astral realm, a voice that carried the weight of shared experiences and the passage of time. "Opherla..." The name lingered on his spectral lips, carrying a soft resonance filled with warmth and fondness. He watched as she dashed toward him, her vibrant energy a familiar yet welcomed sight. The memories of their time together, the shared moments etched in his mind, came flooding back, igniting a sense of camaraderie within him.
As Opherla came to a stop before him, her radiant smile and the energetic gleam in her golden eyes tugged at Callion's ethereal essence, evoking a sense of familiarity and comfort. Her enthusiastic greeting echoed through the stillness, filling the space between them with a blend of longing and delight.
The moments stretched into an almost palpable silence, charged with unspoken emotions. Callion, with a serene countenance, met Opherla's gaze, appreciating the depth of her feelings and the unspoken words that hung between them.
"How am I doing?" The question resonated within the astral projection, his voice carrying a faint echo that mirrored the depth of his thoughts. "I've been training diligently, focusing on refining techniques and understanding the essence of ki in ways that surpass my previous limits."
A gentle smile graced Callion's spectral visage, his eyes reflecting a sense of pride as he continued, "But enough about me. How has your journey been, Opherla? Your strength and determination were always inspiring. I trust your training has brought about remarkable growth." His voice held a note of genuine curiosity, eager to hear about her experiences during the time they had been apart.
He allowed the Lycan Saiyan to answer in her own right and time when she gave him an answer, and regardless of the choice of words that she used, he was at least happy with her answer. "Opherla..." Callion's spectral form softened, a hint of affection in his voice as he regarded her with a fondness that transcended the astral realm. "I've missed you."
The air around them seemed to shimmer with an unspoken connection as he spoke, the ethereal glow casting a gentle light upon the scene. He observed Opherla's radiant energy and the shimmering golden hues that danced within her eyes, finding himself drawn into the depth of her presence.
"It's been too long since we last met," he continued, his words resonating with a warmth that echoed through the forest. "Your strength, your determination—it's always been an inspiration to me. I've wondered how your journey has unfolded, what challenges you've faced, and how you've grown." His spectral form hovered closer, a spectral touch of comfort in the air between them. "Tell me about your training, Opherla. How have your experiences shaped you? What victories have you celebrated, and what lessons have you learned?" His voice carried a tender curiosity, an eagerness to understand the path she had walked while they were apart.
"And beyond training..." His words trailed momentarily, a subtle shift in the astral energies as he sought to convey the emotions that stirred within. "How have you been, truly? Your presence here fills me with a sense of joy and nostalgia, reminding me of the moments we've shared."
The quietude of the forest seemed to amplify the intensity of their reunion, as if time itself held its breath in anticipation of their exchange. "There's a certain... fondness I've held in my heart for you, Opherla," he confessed softly, his gaze meeting hers with sincerity. "The memories we've crafted together, they've lingered with me, reminding me of the connection we share."
He paused, letting the weight of his emotions settle within the ethereal space between them. "Tell me, Opherla, what thoughts and feelings have stirred within you during our time apart? How do you see our bond, our friendship, in this moment?" His voice carried an earnestness, a gentle plea for understanding that transcended the barriers of their astral encounter.
In an ethereal dance of spectral light, Callion's astral projection moved with a grace that defied the confines of the physical realm. His form, a shimmering cascade of energy, circled around Opherla, a gentle breeze trailing in his wake, imbued with an otherworldly luminescence. As he circled her, his presence radiated a serene tranquility, his spectral figure casting a faint, comforting glow upon the verdant surroundings of Korin's Forest. Each orbit around Opherla seemed deliberate, his astral essence exuding an aura of familiarity and tender regard.
With each pass, Callion observed her with a sense of reverence, his gaze tracing the contours of her being—the determination etched into her expression, the glimmer of strength that resonated within her golden eyes. His spectral form seemed to pause momentarily behind her, as if savoring the essence of her spirit.
The shimmering projection of Callion exuded an almost protective embrace, a gentle caress of the winds that encircled Opherla, as if to convey an unspoken assurance of support and understanding. He observed her with a blend of admiration and tenderness, the ethereal figure offering an unseen yet palpable sense of companionship.
With each encircling motion, Callion's spectral form seemed to emanate a subtle warmth, a silent acknowledgment of the journey they had both embarked upon, separate yet entwined in the tapestry of fate. It was a dance of connection—a celestial waltz amidst the tranquil confines of Korin's Forest—as Callion's astral projection enveloped Opherla in an embrace of intangible yet profound camaraderie.

There were no words to depict Opherla's reactions to hearing the warmth, the kindness, the compassion in Callion's voice yet again after so long of being apart. Opherla's own heart ached as she noticed the etherealness to his voice. That's why she couldn't pinpoint him, he wasn't here... even so close, so close to touching and feeling his own presence again, the Lycan Saiyan had a hint of resignation in her tone, knowing they were still apart, and not together in this moment in physical bodies, both of them. It made Opherla ache, but at the same time, she understood. Callion was training, as he usually was. Off on another planet, learning the secrets hidden throughout the vast and expansive cosmos, a feeling Opherla wished she could understand... perhaps one day, if she achieved Callion's level of strength, she would understand these feelings herself, and wish to explore these feelings just as earnestly as Callion was. But for now, just hearing his voice, seeing his presence, ethereal as they may be, filled Opherla's heart with joy and calmness, knowing her dearest friend was okay.
Callion told her, briefly, yet impactfully, how he was doing. His training was taking form off on another planet far from Earth, and even so, Opherla saw in his eyes and heard in his wondrous voice the longing he felt, seeing Opherla again. Opherla longed for him as well, as it led Opherla to question if she and Callion were even just friends anymore at this point... if they were truly something more, and that was explored upon that night, many moons ago, where she and Callion shared a warm and very memorable date together. Callion brought out the best in Opherla, in all her aspects, and Opherla wondered if she did the same for Callion. It was a possibility, if he still remembered her after so long of being away from her.
Of course, he spent so little time on his own journey, it instantly was switch back to Opherla and how she was doing. Opherla could only laugh warmly in response to this. Truly, she and Callion were always so focused on each other, two selfless souls connected by a bond that transcended time and space to an intimate degree and level, as Opherla truly felt warmer in Callion's presence now that he was asking her... so many questions! He wanted to know it all, everything, every detail of what she had been doing on Earth, and what she had accomplished in his absence. Oh, Callion, always the selfless romantic, you sly Saiyan.
"You sure changed the subject very quickly." Opherla giggled when he asked her to tell him of her journey so far. Opherla's smile grew however, as she was more than glad to entertain Callion with such tales of how she was doing. "My journey has been lonesome for a while, but fruitful, I'm certain you've noticed the changes, considering what I've put my body through." Opherla honestly stated, showing Callion her newly toned abs as well as her muscle build she had gotten. Not too bulky to lose her figure, but bulky enough she stood before him as a strong, beautiful, independent woman. "That isn't to say I haven't made friends. I've even made some new ones today, and I hope I have the chance to train with them. I'm also just now realizing how well my training is paying off, I actually was stronger than some of those I encountered today." Opherla stated.
However, Opherla's words were cut short when Callion's smile grew upon hearing her answer, as he suddenly dropped a line that would cause Opherla's heart tp leap in her chest yet again.
"Opherla... I missed you."
Opherla couldn't help but tear up and smile wider at hearing those words from Callion, as she heard the affection in his tone from saying that, and the affection in her own heart pinged back as if it was a sonar link between the two, as Opherla wanted to reach out and embrace Callion, but she knew she couldn't. An ethereal projection would never hold her, as she looked at him and softly smiled, despite the tears welling in her eyes, as her hands instinctively reached, even as her logic told her it was fallacy, but she could at least pretend to be touching him, as her right hand rested imaginarily upon his cheek, and her left on his chest as Opherla prepared to answer Callion's own affection.
"I missed you too, Callion." Opherla spoke in a tone of longing and affection as she couldn't keep her hands on the ethereal projection, or rather, the air, for much longer as she had to painfully retract her hands, as she looked at Callion with a longing expression, even as he told her she was an inspiration for him... that stunned her. Him, inspired by her... What a thought. He was so much stronger than she was, and yet here he was telling her she inspired him. Opherla's tears only just began to fall as she looked at Callion after hearing these words from him. He then asked her about her own experiences, lessons, and victories she has celebrated.
Opherla longingly sighed as she began to tell Callion about how little these were for her. "I won't fib to you, Cal... I've not experienced much. After our date, I was still reeling from South City, so I took a long break to get away from it all... then, when I got back into things, I met Athren again... and I was ill prepared to spar with him. He accidentally knocked me out with an attack he recently made, but at least he brought me back to my home safely... so I've learned to be more on my guard, you could say. That's why for the last five months, I've been training, and training hard, so I can be a proper fighter for my friends... for you, Cal." Opherla admitted.
Callion then told her of the fondness he held in his heart for Opherla, almost immediately following it with asking her how she thinks their relationship is after so long of being apart. Opherla was stunned at this remark... Callion, fond of her...? All this time...? Opherla had no point to hide her true feelings anymore, as she felt Callion's warm presence circling her, protecting her... comforting her... asking her for her honesty in this crucial moment.
"Callion... all I can think about, when I picture you... is love..." Opherla declared, holding her heart as she closed her eyes. "When I see you, I see a reason for me to continue, a reason to keep fighting, a reason to be alive and to defend this planet I stand on... my home... Our home, Callion." Opherla declared firmly as she looked at Callion with a look that said she was finally ready for the biggest confession of her life, a confession she needed to give to the one man she was connected to that not space, time, nor eternity could touch.
"Callion, I love you! I miss you so much, and I want nothing more than for you to come back home. To learn from you, to train with you, just to be with you! Yes, I've managed so much without you... but Callion... I truly feel complete, even standing before you while you're not even truly here right now. You make me whole. You make my purpose complete and true. You make me who I am. I may inspire you... but you drive me, Callion. You drive me to push my limits, you drive me to succeed in everything I do, you drive me to be honest and true to who I am and how I feel. And Callion, right now, my feelings are pouring out for you. I love you... and I want you to come back home." Opherla told Callion. It was out. The confession. A tone of longing, affection, compassion, and truth all laid out before Callion as he surrounded the Lycan Saiyan in his warmth. Opherla loved him, to her core, to her very being. And even if she could do all of this without him... oh how she wished he could be here to see just how much she accomplished, just what she was doing, just how far she had come on her own. And yet, in the end, she wanted to share it all with him. Be with him. Study under him. Be compassionate with him. As the words replayed in the air of the forest, they were no less true than when she had first said it.
Opherla confessed. She loved Callion with every part of her. Every fiber of her. Every atom of her. And every wisp of her spirit... she LOVED Callion.

In the midst of Korin's Forest, where the cosmic energies whispered tales of profound connections, Callion's astral projection bore witness to Opherla's heartfelt confession. Her words, laden with sincerity and longing, reverberated through the ethereal space, reaching the very core of Callion's being. The revelation hung in the air, a delicate tapestry woven with threads of vulnerability and truth. This very moment of Opherla revealing herself in such a state, Callion's spectral presence remained attentive, resonating with the depth of Opherla's emotions that poured forth like an unguarded cascade. Her heartfelt confession reverberated within the intangible expanse, and though his form remained serene, an unmistakable warmth lingered in his ethereal gaze.
Callion listened as Opherla poured her heart out, her declaration of love echoing through the spectral expanse, Callion's ethereal form continued its gentle orbit around her. His gaze, a constellation of understanding, met hers, acknowledging the depth of her emotions. "Opherla," he began, his voice a gentle breeze that carried a sense of understanding and a hint of playful intrigue, "your words echo through the threads of our shared connection, a resonance that spans beyond the boundaries of our present state."
A subtle smile tugged at the corners of Callion's ethereal visage as he observed her earnest confession, his voice carrying a suave cadence. "Your feelings, vibrant and genuine, paint a tapestry of emotion that I find both stirring and compelling." He circled around her with a sly yet tender smile, an enigmatic glint in his ethereal eyes. "Love is a force that binds us, a force that evolves with each passing moment. Your courage to express such profound sentiments speaks volumes, and I am deeply moved by the sincerity you hold within your heart."
There was a measured pause, a deliberate choice in his words as he continued, "Your love and dedication, they are appreciated, cherished even, as they mirror the bond we share. You speak of a completeness, a yearning for unity amidst our separate journeys. It's an alluring prospect, one that beckons with promises of mutual growth and understanding."
Callion's spectral form seemed to emanate an enigmatic yet reassuring presence, a subtle acknowledgment that resonated in the air around them. "I am here, Opherla, in spirit and in the echoes of our connection. Your words are not lost on me, nor are the sentiments that envelop our bond."
With an air of contemplative wisdom, he concluded, "The stars, they guide us through the ebb and flow of time, weaving tales of intertwined destinies. Let our connection endure, an unwavering beacon that transcends the confines of mere words." His response held a graceful finesse, a coy acknowledgment that danced on the edge of revelation, leaving the weight of his feelings suspended in the unspoken truths that hung between them, like constellations adorning the vast expanse of the cosmos.
A faint, enigmatic smile played on Callion's spectral lips, his eyes reflecting a mixture of admiration and a hint of playful intrigue. "To be adored by such a resilient and inspiring soul is a gift, one that I hold in the highest regard." There was a knowing glimmer in his eyes, a subtle acknowledgment of the depth of Opherla's feelings, yet an enigmatic air enveloped his response. And with those words, the spectral form of Callion seemed to shimmer with a silent acknowledgment, an enigmatic response that resonated through the ethereal plane, leaving the depth of his own feelings veiled in a cloak of mystery.
“And yet, I cannot help but sense in you as you pour your soul to me emotion. As though something has troubled you… What is the matter Opherla… What has occurred while I am currently away?” Callion asked her, his spectral eyes gazed upon her as though he was looking directly into her soul, he wanted to know what exactly was going on while he is currently away, for if there was truly anything that had happened that is worth mentioning, he wanted to know. His voice, though calm and composed, carried an undercurrent of empathy—a yearning to share in the joys and sorrows that marked the chapters of her life. "I may be distant in form, but our connection is a thread that binds us across the cosmos. Your joys are mine to celebrate, and your sorrows are mine to bear witness to. Speak freely, and let the echoes of your experiences reverberate within this moment between us… Let me help you."
As Callion awaited Opherla's response, his spectral eyes held an unwavering gaze, a beacon of understanding that sought to illuminate the shadows that lingered within the recesses of her heart. The dance of emotions within the astral realm mirrored the unseen currents that flowed between them, a connection that transcended the boundaries of time and space.

Opherla's heart fluttered when she heard Callion acknowledge her words of affection towards him, her vulnerable and truthful feelings pouring out before him like they just burst free from the restraints of a dam. Opherla could only tear up and smile as Callion's gentle and warming words greeted her ears, as she clung to each word tightly, knowing it was the closest feeling she had to the man who currently held her heart in his hand in a metaphorical and very romantic way. Opherla's heart and emotions were in Callion's hands now, and Opherla would have it no other way. She wanted him to have her heart... and yet she couldn't quite figure out if he was offering her his own or not. But all good things come with time, so perhaps one day, Opherla might get to the depths of Callion's heart.
However, holding her heart in his hands showed Callion a weakness. A weak spot in her heart recently added the same day, and he knew exactly how to get to that point, as Opherla froze upon him bringing it up to her. His words might have been calming and assuring, allowing her to say what she had on her mind, but Opherla was so afraid to do so... what would he say? What would he think? Would he shatter her with disapproval? Break her with turning down her feelings of love because of what she would tell him? Opherla was full of fear and anxiety now, afraid to admit the truth of what she had done to the man now in possession of the depths of her heart.
And yet, Opherla was feeling compelled to bring it out anyways. Callion might reject her. He might shun her. He might even gouge her heart with emotional damage... but she knew Callion was a very kind man to his depths, and so she was banking on the better odds he might not rip her emotionally to shreds with whatever came next after she unveiled the truth to him. Opherla was still not prepared, her fear and anxiety only growing to prevent her from saying anything, but with a tear filled deep breath, Opherla sucked in air, and exhaled... and was now ready to tell the ugly truth of what she had done, earlier that day, weighing so heavily on her fully exposed heart that Callion held metaphorically in the palm of his hands.
"Callion... Oh how I wish you were here in person to listen to what I'm going to say..." Opherla sobbed slightly as she closed her eyes in shame and guilt, hanging her head as she looked up at him. "This feeling I have... this power I have received through my training, really, it truly is incredible... it is so incredible... that it's dangerous, I've decided." Opherla admitted to Callion, looking at him with tears in her eyes as she choked up, wondering if she should continue telling him what occurred today, but her truthful nature told her she needed to let him know, she needed to undergo his judgment on what happened, as Opherla took another deep beeath to calm herself, before she continued.
"Callion... today, there was a Saiyan diplomat that landed on Earth from Zaks' army." Opherla said. "And that was what she introduced herself as... but the arrogance, the resentment, the anger I felt in her voice... I knew her Saiyan Pride would get in her way eventually here on Earth... so... I made a choice... and it was a stupid choice..." Opherla said as she shed more tears. "I let the power I had get to my head and I goaded her into battling me... no, I didn't kill her... but I pretty much humiliated her openly, and I chose to try and use intimidation, including using my Lycan Fury state to try and scare her into standing down... ...In the end, I only caused more problems instead of solving them... and now... and now...."
Opherla finally broke after admitting the fully honest truth before Callion, as she dropped to her knees in tears and began to cry aloud, the atmosphere in Korin's Forest turning to a somber and saddened mood as Opherla vulnerably admitted the pain of her heart. And it was a weakness in herself, a selfish showing of her power, to try and defuse a situation that could have been evaded had Opherla used better words and not stoked the Saiyan Pride of the warrior named Salada, that could have easily avoided the whole situation... that Opherla herself created. She kept crying and crying, broken and sorrowful before Callion, her heart still in his hands and seemingly awaiting a judgment or whatever Callion was planning to tell her. Opherla was fearful of what Callion might say... but she also knew that it would all be deserved if Callion decided to be harsh with his judgment, but it was only Callion who could decide what to do with Opherla's even more vulnerable heart in this moment... Would he tear it to pieces? Or would he comfort Opherla and bring her back up? It was all in the hands of the man Opherla confessed to. It was all in Callion's gentle hands now.... The delicate heart of the Lycan Saiyan before him awaiting what he had to say about her failure today, what he had to say about her lapse of judgment.... What will you do with this delicate, delicate heart, powerful yet kind Saiyan?

Opherla's tearful admission pierced through the ethereal space, the weight of her words echoing within the somber confines of Korin's Forest. Callion, despite his composed demeanor, felt a pang of disappointment and concern at Opherla's actions, he listened attentively to her words. The weight of her guilt, the tears that flowed, painted a poignant picture of remorse and self-reflection.
"Opherla," his voice resonated with a mixture of empathy and sternness, "your honesty in revealing this is commendable. However, your actions... they carry consequences that extend far beyond our immediate scope."
The ethereal projection of Callion held a gaze that reflected a sense of disappointment, a sternness that underscored his words. "Provoking conflict, especially with a Saiyan diplomat, is not a course of action I would have expected from you. You must understand the ramifications of such an encounter, especially considering the delicate state of interplanetary relations."
The ethereal glow of his form flickered subtly, a reflection of the gravity of the situation. "Attacking a Saiyan diplomat, regardless of the circumstances, has the potential to escalate tensions between Earth and Zaks' army. It's an action that could lead to far-reaching consequences, not just for you, but for all of us."
He paused, allowing the weight of the situation to settle between them. "I've encountered Saiyans before, Opherla. When faced with conflict, I never initiated an attack, nor did I resort to actions that could potentially escalate tensions." He spoke softly, as he recalled the events of meeting other half-breed Saiyans like her, as well as possibly the only two full blooded-Saiyans he came across; Quash – a dear fellow Saiyan who died in South City, and Tanya – the female pureblooded sister whom he sees as a little sister to him. The memories of those two did bring somewhat of a smile on his face before he returned to looking at Opherla seriously.
Callion's gaze, though understanding, held a firmness as he continued. "In our first encounter, despite the differences in our backgrounds, I chose diplomacy over aggression. I understand the complexities of dealing with Saiyan pride, but there are alternative paths that can be pursued. Intimidation and humiliation, while momentarily satisfying, often sow the seeds of deeper conflict."
Callion's spectral form seemed to radiate a firm resolve, a subtle urging for Opherla to reassess her approach. "The power you possess, the strength you've gained—it must be wielded responsibly. Your actions today could have far-reaching implications. I encourage you to reflect on the consequences of your actions and the impact they may have on Earth and its people."
"Consider this a lesson, Opherla," he continued, his tone firm yet tinged with a sense of guidance. "Think before you act, especially when dealing with delicate situations involving other beings. Your strength should be a beacon of protection, not a catalyst for conflict."
The ethereal projection of Callion maintained a composed yet serious demeanor, the weight of his words carrying a sense of guidance and warning. "Your actions reflect not just upon you, but upon Earth and those who call it home. Exercise caution and wisdom in your decisions, for they hold the power to shape the course of events."
His words held a note of encouragement amidst the disappointment, a silent assurance that learning from mistakes was an integral part of growth. "Learn from this experience, Opherla. Your strength lies not just in your power but in your judgment and restraint. Use it wisely." The aura of his ethereal projection conveyed a sense of encouragement, an urging for Opherla to learn from this experience and navigate the complexities of her newfound strength with wisdom and prudence. The delicate heart that had confessed its vulnerabilities now rested in the hands of guidance and reflection, awaiting the choices Opherla would make in the aftermath of her actions.
"Also," Callion's tone held a sense of earnest concern, "beyond this incident, has anything else unfolded on Earth during my absence that requires attention or consideration?"
His spectral form maintained a steady presence, the gravity of the situation guiding his inquiries. "I ask not out of mere curiosity, but with the intent to understand the current state of affairs. Any developments or encounters that could impact our planet's stability or our interactions with other beings should be brought forth."
Callion's demeanor exuded a sense of responsibility, an urging for Opherla to share any further occurrences that might demand their attention. The ethereal glow of his form remained poised, awaiting her response with a composed readiness to address any additional challenges that may have emerged in his absence.

Opherla watched as Callion's instant reaction became one of disappointment... Disappointment, Opherla was fully aware it would likely be that from Callion, she knew full well that was likely how he would react and yet, as she watched his expression change, she could only close her eyes and drop to her knees in guilt and shame, tears of guilt flowing from her eyes like a waterfall of sorrow as she cried out in emotional pain and guilt, and Callion hadn't even began to start lecturing her just yet.
Well, that was short lived as Opherla heard Callion begin to sternly lecture her of the consequences of her actions, all of which Opherla already knew full well from what she had done this day. Attacking a Saiyan diplomat? Yes, Opherla did that. She knew full well she started all of this and she knew full well she was responsible, it only hurt worse coming out of the mouth of the man she loved, as her tears only grew as she hung her head in shame while on her knees, almost bowing before Callion to take all this verbal lecturing and punishment on herself. She knew ramifications would come, and she knew it would be bad. She knew full well what she had done and what it could entail, and she knew it was her fault that Earth could now be in danger. What's worse, Callion reminded Opherla that it was Zaks' army that she had just incited perhaps an attack against when she did what she did against Salada.
"Zaks... oh no, I forgot about that.... I forgot all about that!" What was guilt and shame already now compiled into a full on panic, as Opherla clutched her head, more tears coming as the ground beneath her was damp, almost forming a puddle underneath her from how much she had cried. She knew Zaks. Zaks knew her. If Zaks found out... if she knew Opherla was the cause of Salada's humiliation... "Oh God, what have I done... Kami what have I done....!" Opherla exclaimed as she cried more, her emotions compiling into a ball of negativity as Callion continued on with his lecture of Opherla, as Opherla heard it, but she wasn't focused on it as she was more panicked of what she actually could have done in the long run that may have just doomed the Earth, her home, Callion's home. All of that realization crashed down on the young Lycan Saiyan like a two ton truck as she was in an absolute mess of herself trying to keep composed during the lecture, but was failing miserably as she was a crying mess while Callion continued with his stern lecture.
However, Opherla's crying ceased the minute Callion's gaze turned from hard and stern to a more calm and guiding tone, causing Opherla to look up at him with a tear stained face and reddened eyes from how hard she had been crying. Callion, despite how stern he had been, was still willing to guide and teach Opherla even despite her actions and what they could cause down the line. Opherla sniffled and sobbed as she listened on Callion's every word, as he gave her a firm task to learn from the mistake and reflect on what she had done. Opherla had already reflected a lot on how she could have done things better since she left that day, but hearing it from Callion... It reignited Opherla's hope she had that maybe she could move on from this. After all, he said that her power should be a beacon of hope and protection, and not a catalyst for conflict and destruction. Opherla took those words to heart as she began composing herself at last. Callion was right. She was better than this. She HAD to be better than this. She had to be a beacon people could look to and be inspired by, proud of, hopeful to be like one day. And she wouldn't do that if she was wallowing in the failure of this mistake or failing to learn from it. Finally getting herself back up to her feet, she looked at Callion with a determined gaze.
"I'll learn well from this Callion. I'm sorry I made this mistake. It won't happen again." Opherla said with a bow to Callion, her resolve having returned after the lecture ahe got from the learned Saiyan monk.
However, his gaze changed again as he asked her if there was anything else on Earth he needed to know about. What? What else could be happening on Earth? Opherla didn't know. After Athren knocked her out cold with his new attack, Opherla had spent the last five months training to prevent that from happening to her again. She hadn't taken the time to see if there was any danger roaming about the planet, or if the Earth lacked defenders. She didn't even know if the Z Fighters, the faction Callion had set forth to make, were still unified or if they were scattered abroad and training on their own! Opherla sweatdropped as she knew she had to be brutally honest a second time.
"I... don't know, Cal. I've spent so much time training after Athren knocked me out during a spar we were having that I don't know much about if the Earth is currently in danger or not. I don't know if it's lacking defenders, or if there's a threat coming we need to stop. All I know is that Liari... despite seeming to be better is still out there and I'm not fully sure if she has truly changed for the better or not. I'm in the dark and I only recently just started getting back to knowing people on the planet, so I need to do a bit more digging to really tell you if Earth needs you or not." Opherla told Callion honestly. "I know it sounds a bit selfish, taking time to myself and not paying attention to Earth but I can't just slack on my training, I need to be stronger so I can be the beacon of hope I know I can be, Callion, today's mistake aside." Opherla added as she sighed and hung her head.
"It's times like these that make me think if I'm even cut out to be a defender of Earth or not... I'm sorry I let you down today, Callion, I really am... I just lost my cool and that's not what I need to do. I just... I just don't know anymore if I'm cut out for this..." Opherla somberly admitted as she rubbed her arm in shame, looking away from Callion as she thought about all her failings she had done. From South City, to even today, Opherla had done more bad for Earth than she had done good. She had shown up to a deadly warzone completely unprepared during the events of South City, which STILL was stuck in her mind how helpless she felt in that massive clash within the city. She hated the fact she had to run away, but there was no other choice in her mind of what to do back then. And now on the opposite end of the spectrum, Opherla had abused the power she had at her disposal to humiliate a Saiyan warrior in her attempts to defuse the situation, in the true reality she only had made it worse, and that stung just as badly. It truly made Opherla question herself, even if she had learned this hard lesson and truly applied it going forward, the damage she had caused was already done... and that turned into negative thoughts. Maybe Opherla wasn't cut out to defend this planet...
Maybe Earth was better off if Opherla went and buried herself in her plushies, which she had been doing before she got the knock on the door from her very first friend in Sierra.

Callion's gaze remained steady, watching Opherla closely as she grappled with the weight of her actions. Her emotional turmoil, the tears, the guilt—it all played out before him like a poignant drama. He listened to her cries of realization, the panic that seized her when she remembered Zaks' connection, and the genuine regret that marked her face. Her despair didn't go unnoticed, and as Callion continued his guidance, he saw a shift in Opherla's demeanor. Her resolve emerged from the chaos of her emotions, and she stood, a determination etched across her features. Callion's expression softened, recognizing the strength within her to acknowledge and learn from her mistakes.
"Opherla," Callion's spectral form held a quiet understanding as he observed her turmoil. Her emotions were raw, her vulnerability palpable, as she grappled with the weight of her actions and the doubts they stirred within her. "Your self-awareness and acknowledgement of your mistake are signs of growth," Callion responded gently, his voice carrying a sense of empathy. "Mistakes are part of the journey towards mastery, but what's crucial is how we learn from them and strive to rectify our missteps."
He listened attentively as Opherla expressed her concerns about Earth's current state and her own uncertainties about her role as its defender. Callion's demeanor shifted to one of reassurance and encouragement. "Opherla, self-doubt often accompanies moments of introspection and realization. It's a testament to your commitment and sincerity in protecting this planet." Callion paused for a moment, allowing his words to convey a sense of understanding. "You're not alone in this journey. The burden of safeguarding Earth doesn't rest solely on your shoulders. It's a collective responsibility, and while we may falter at times, it's the strength to rise, learn, and continue that defines us."
However, his expression turned grave when Opherla admitted her lack of knowledge about ongoing events on Earth. Callion's spectral form held a measured concern, realizing the potential vulnerability that might exist due to her focus on personal training. Callion's ethereal projection radiated a gentle reassurance. "What matters now is your commitment to growth and improvement. Your dedication to training speaks volumes about your resolve. Remember, being a defender doesn't equate to flawless perfection but rather a willingness to persist and evolve."
He regarded her with a thoughtful gaze. "As for Liari and the uncertainties surrounding her, it's imperative to discern truth from doubt. Exercise caution and seek clarity, but don't let past encounters overshadow the potential for change or growth in others."
Callion's presence conveyed a sense of guidance and understanding. "Continue your training, Opherla. Strive for greater strength and wisdom. Your sincerity and resilience are the hallmarks of a true defender, and it's these qualities that will shape your path forward." As Opherla expressed her doubts and questioned her role as a defender of Earth, Callion's eyes conveyed a mixture of understanding and encouragement. "We all face moments of doubt and self-reflection. It's through these challenges that we find our true strength. Your journey is one of growth, Opherla, and while mistakes are inevitable, the lessons learned from them shape the path forward."
Callion's spectral form emanated a reassuring presence. "You are not defined by your failures but by your commitment to learn and improve. The road to becoming a defender is paved with both successes and setbacks. Remember that even in moments of uncertainty, your potential remains vast."
The ethereal aura of his projection held a silent promise of support, encouraging Opherla to navigate the challenges ahead with resolve and perseverance, assuring her that she wasn't alone in her quest to safeguard Earth. His spectral form remained steady, a beacon of guidance in Opherla's moment of introspection, reassuring her that growth stemmed not just from one's triumphs, but from the resilience displayed in overcoming one's shortcomings.
"Opherla," Callion's tone carried a note of gentle assurance, "my presence here won't linger much longer. As my Astral Projection form fades, know that I'll return to Earth within a month, perhaps two at the utmost."
His words held a promise, a beacon of hope amidst the complexities they faced. "During this time, continue your training. Reflect on your experiences, and remember, growth isn't just about strength but also about understanding oneself." Callion's spectral form maintained a reassuring presence. "Use this time to find your balance, strengthen your resolve, and assess the path you wish to take. Your journey toward becoming a defender of Earth is a process—a journey that unfolds step by step."
He met her gaze with understanding. "I have faith in you, Opherla. Trust in your abilities, learn from your mistakes, and when the time comes for my return, together we shall work towards the betterment of our home." A serene assurance lingered in his voice. "Earth is in capable hands, Opherla. You have the potential to be a formidable defender. Embrace your journey, and when I return, we can continue this path together."
Callion's form shimmered slightly, a sign of his imminent departure. "Remember, Opherla, you are stronger than you realize. I will return, and together, we will stand for Earth's protection. Use this time to reflect on what we've discussed, continue your training, and strive to be the defender you aspire to become." His gaze was steadfast, his projection retaining its form despite the fading aura. "Our paths will cross again soon. Until then, remain resolute, learn from your experiences, and keep the beacon of hope burning bright within you."
With those words, Callion's spectral projection began to wane, Callion's spectral form gave a final nod before gradually fading away into the ethereal surroundings, leaving Opherla with a sense of guidance and encouragement to navigate the challenges ahead. The guidance he had offered and the lessons imparted were now echoes in the air, promising a reunion in the tangible realm when the time was ripe.

Opherla would listen to Callion's words of guidance and enouragement carefully, as her resolve grew by the moment as Callion told her that this was a way to learn and grow. And thinking about it, he was right. Opherla would likely make a few more mistakes in her lifetime, but sitting around and dwelling on them would get her nowhere. Instead, she had to focus on doing what she needed to do in order to become Earth's defender and make Callion proud.
As he told her about her self-doubt, and revealed the unique revelation about them, Opherla realized the wisdom in his words, as she nodded and took in his words carefully. These doubts weren't bad things to have. They were just Opherla making sure she had all her priorities straight in her journey onwards in strength and power. And not just strength and power, but knowledge and wisdom as well. Opherla couldn't help but smile at Callion as she took in his words in every single sentence, as Opherla's confidence returned to her yet again, given back to her by a man she confessed her deepest desires for and her deepest affection to. In the forest around them, the somber mood turned more happy once again as the spiritual energies transmitted a drawing to a conclusion of a very heartfelt conversation between a duo that had shared a date together so long ago that kept them connected over so long of a time. Opherla wished the conversation could be drawn out for longer, that she could spend more time with the man she had just poured her heart out to, and yet, she knew that all things must come to an end, especially with her needing to get back to training.
Callion had taken her vulnerable heart and mended it back together, instead of tearing it down, as his words were encouraging and guiding to the young Lycan Saiyan as she was preparing to venture back on her training journey, to one day perhaps reach a level that Callion was on right now. She had to remember as well that she wasn't ever alone. She had her friends. Tanya, Athren, Serena, and so many more friends were backing her in keeping this planet safe, training in their own ways to seek their own levels of strength that Opherla knew she had to catch up on, if all of them were training as intensely as she was doing at this moment. She had doubts, however, if Athren would be willing to still train her after hearing what she did today. But she would cross that bridge whenever she got to it. As well as cross the bridge with Zaks if she ever showed up.
Opherla could only longingly smile at Callion as he continued uplifting her with his words, telling her of the potential she had and the long and hopeful journey she had ahead of her, the Saiyan monk filling the Lycan Saiyan with confidence as Opherla could only smile and intently lock eyes with Callion as he uplifted and encouraged her on her journey. His gentle gaze of encouragement and guidance met with a gaze of longing and appreciation. Opherla was truly enlightened with this visit, and the burden she had from her actions earlier seemed to have lifted when Callion informed her she could learn and do so much better after this failure of proper judgment calling. Opherla would use this lesson to pave her path forward, a path that could lead to the desired outcome Opherla truly wanted to accomplish. Becoming a proper defender of the planet she and so many other people called home.
Callion told Opherla he would be back on Earth in a month or two. Opherla's heart leapt for joy, knowing it wasn't too much longer before she could see Callion in person yet again. She wanted so badly to go and join him, to find him on whatever planet he was on, and join him in his training sessions so she could one day become like he was. But that would come at a later time. There was so much more things on Earth that Opherla needed to do, many things to accomplish so she could become even stronger than she was now. But even now, as the conversation was drawing to an end, Opherla didn't want it to end, she wanted to keep Callion around for just a while longer... for just a few more minutes... another hour, even. But Opherla wouldn't stop Callion. She only smiled as he began to fade.
"Thank you for the lesson, Callion. Thank you for encouraging me to not let this hold me back." Opherla spoke in a heartfelt tone as she watched his projection begin to fade. "I'll make you proud, I promise I will. I'll become strong, I'll make sure I'll do better instead of doing worse... I'll do my absolute best to inspire hope in others instead of fear in others. I'll make sure to defend Earth, not destroy it with my actions. ...Please, be safe, Callion. Please come back home safe and sound, so we can see each other again like you say we will."
As Callion's presence faded, Opherla felt as if a part of her heart had left her. As if she was saying farewell to a friend she knew for such a long time... she didn't know Callion that long... but it sure felt like it. And Opherla knew she had to take the events of today and make things right on all fronts, regardless of what befell her from those she affected as she looked to the horizon, a firm look of determination and solemnness on her face.
"Salada... Liek... everyone. I'm sorry for the pain I caused this day. I can't take the actions I did back... but I can try my absolute best to make up for all that I did today. I'll do much better from here on out. That's what I must do... to defend this planet... to protect it with all that I have... I owe you all this much in order to be a better person, a better defender, from this day onwards." Opherla declared as she soon began to fly above Korin's Forest, feeling the spiritual presence leave as she soon began to fly off into the horizon to go and continue her journey, and make up for the damage she caused this day.
Once again, the two who were connected together by their compassion to another were split apart, but not severed to one another. The energies of the forest would grow once again calmed and silenced as the two left to return to their own journeys of training together. For Callion, he would continue to train on Yardrat, however he would choose to do so. For Opherla, she would continue on her own, and ask for help only when she needed to, as she was determined to get stronger, not to prove a point or to show off, but to use it to be a beacon of protection and hope that others could look up to in their direst time of need. It was going to be a long road ahead, longer now thanks to the actions of what the young Lycan Saiyan did today... but hopefully, as she learned from this hard earned lesson, she could use the wisdom and knowledge granted to her by the man she just confessed to in order to change her outlook and perspective on encounters just as she had encountered today, and instead of react the way she did, react in a way that both parties could reach a mutual agreement one day.
However, training was not on the forefront of Opherla's mind as she left the ancient forest just on the outskirts of Korin's Lookout and left to resume her jourmey of power, knowledge, and most of all, understanding. What was now on the young Saiyan's mind was to apologize to the one who had looked up to her before, but lost that luster and spirit to believe in her after she had shown that nasty side to her... Liek. Opherla needed to apologize to him, because she had broken a special bond that could have been had she not lost her cool against Salada. Liek, just like Opherla did, had potential, a potential that needed to be nurtured and guided, just like Opherla needed. And while Callion may have already spoken to Liek about this, Opherla knew she could be a more direct contact for Liek, as long as she could rekindle the trust and bondship they had whenever she first met him along with that Bio-Android, ABAS. Opherla truly had wanted to train Liek, to help him get better as she herself got better in her own right. Now, as she set off to find that hybrid Saiyan that had done more to de-escalate the issue than what Opherla had done, Opherla only hoped he could forgive her, as Callion had just done.
"Liek... I'm sorry you had to see what I truly can be when I lose it." Opherla said aloud as she flew back home, her eyes full of resolve and hope. "I only hope that whem we meet again, I can show you who I truly am... who I want to be. Not what I was today... I want to help you... and I hope you understand that all of us lose sight of our judgments sometimes... but that doesn't define who we are." Opherla said, as she smiled, having hope that she could mend things over with Liek.
"What defines who we are is what we choose to do with our mistakes." Opherla finished as she flew out of sight of the Forest, her aura shimmering like a shooting star across the sky.
