A mysterious glint of light arched across the sky, a falling star, it would seem entering the atmosphere! ...But where a falling star would break, shatter and burn in the atmosphere, the object continued to fall! A massive sphere would SMASH into a local rainforest, grinding and slashing through tons and tons of foliage and loose rock before grinding to a halt at the base of a great tree! With the whine of pistons unlocking, a long door to the sphere would fall open, a woman in blue and white battle armor slowly stepping out from inside!
"Hmph. Just as I thought." Sadala grunted, glancing around at the wild and untamed surroundings. "...It's barely suitable for habitation." Just look at the place: Wild and unkempt plant growth all over the place, animals unsuitable for consumption running wild around her boots... and barely any signs of civilization in sight. This place looked like the sort of worlds Saiyans blew up for FUN back in the day... How DARE they send her here? Salada placed her hands on her hips and clenched her jaw. Why in the name of EVERYTHING would she be ordered HERE of all places...? What was there of worth here, even? Twigs...? ROCKS? Whatever junk-tech these humans could cobble together? She rolled her eyes and tapped the button on her scouter. An arrow flashed across the screen followed by several readings in multiple directions.
"...There are several human settlements there..." She looked to her left. "...there..." She turned her head to face forward. "...And here..." She looked to her right. "Its almost impressive how thoroughly they infested this planet... Most species only keep to a city or two." ...And what was more, her scouter picked up the signatures of more than just humans. Majin, demon, even SAIYAN energy readings flashed across her scouter, all of them being roughly equivalent to her own power... or higher. Salada froze as she read those readings, her jaw clenching tighter and tighter, her lips curling into a snarl. Was that what that bastard meant, that this would be an "interesting assignment...?" A planet FULL of weaklings, some of which carrying Saiyan blood!?
"...No. Something's wrong with this thing." The Saiyan warrior decided, pulling it off her ear and linking it around her tail-belt. "Whatever. I suppose I should go... Make contact with the locals... or something."

That streak across the sky, there was no mistaking it! That was definitely a pod rushing to the Earth to land. Opherla knew that had to mean a Saiyan was there. A Saiyan could be a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, if it was one of Zaks' crew, they could be amicable, and Opherla had nothing to fear. On the other, if they weren't of Zaks' mindset, then Opherla would have to step in.
As she approached the location, she noticed just how hard it was to find this Saiyan! Was she masking her power? Or was it just that low? Regardless, navigating this new jungle Opherla hadn't even touched was a bit annoying, but eventually, she found a crash site, as Opherla nodded, heading right over to investigate.
She saw the Saiyan getting a gauge for her surroundings. Opherla wondered if that device of hers could pick up on her power level. Opherla was thankful she had her weighted clothes on, she didn't want to appear too fearsome to this new face, since they seemed so weak to Opherla, however, Opherla was still going to be careful around this Saiyan woman, who knows what her intentions truly were.
Salada would feel the wind around her WOOSH as a new figure arrived, as she looked to see Opherla slowly descend down, as the Saiyan hybrid's arms were folded as she slowly descended down to the Saiyan warrior, her expression neutral. Again, this felt new to her, being the big dog in this fight, but she had to make sure she didn't show that hand too soon. As far as both Saiyans knew, neither was showing their true powers just yet.
"You must have landed recently. It's good to meet you, fellow Saiyan." Opherla declared in a neutral tone. "I'm not looking for trouble, I just want to know why you're here. My name is Opherla, and I come to you in peace. I only want to know your name and your intentions."
Opherla got the feeling she needed to be cautious around this woman. She did not want to light a fuse with her, much less get into a brawl with her that, as far as Opherla could tell, she'd likely win.

Liek, at the end of the day, was still just a child really. His natural urge was to stay near the safe and familiar, to what he knew he could handle. At least in terms of travel. Despite having literally nothing and no one to tell him not to venture where ever he wished he still didn’t stray too far from his forest home. East City remained the most distant location he’d traversed to.
That is until he spotted the shooting star descending from the sky and immediately felt the life form within. Unlike others he had no idea what this person’s arrival could mean. Instead all he felt was curiosity and without a second thought he took off in the direction it fell.
This arrival being the catalyst for pushing him further from his comfort zone then he had ever strayed up until now.
A short distance from the landing site he felt another power flying passed him and recognised the frequency. It was Opherla, the girl he’d met before in the city. Thoughts of her wonderful eyes filled his mind and he got excited, prompting him to hurry up.
He arrived shortly after Opherla, sweeping down next to her gracefully, his own tail wrapped around his waist. At the moment it didn’t feel right to greet her since she was taking charge of… whatever was happening. His taking a place at her side, and the nod and smile he shot her way, should have been enough to let her know he was at least backing her up, right?
Only now did he take stock of what the shooting star had been: a space pod from which another woman had stepped out of, it would seem. A woman in strange armour and possessing a tail that looked a whole lot like his own.
This being the first time he’d ever seen another Saiyan he couldn’t help but look down at his own tail, giving it a wiggle, before looking back at the armoured woman’s own tail.
Despite his surprise he kept silent. After all, Opherla was older and more experienced. He didn’t want to mess up… whatever she was doing.

Salada was surprised to discover that it wasn't SHE that would be making contact with the locals BUT, in fact, they were making contact with her! Displeasure flashed across the Saiyan's lips as she beheld first a... female of some sort, then a male appearing from the brush. If she were to do this, be some kind of representative to the empire, she would have been much happier doing it on her own terms rather than on theirs... Either Earth had a more efficient sensor network than Vegeta's intelligence suggested, or this was a planet of inherent power-sensors. Neither of them seemed to be wearing anything resembling a scouter or communications-device... How odd.
"I am Salada, rep..." The Saiyan warrior grunted, distasting the taste of her title upon her tongue. "...representative to the Saiyan Empire. I have been ordered to make contact with your people for... diplomatic purposes." It would appear to the two strangers that Salada had choked down something foul, based on her expression, and by all accounts, she might as well have. What universe did they live in that Saiyans BARGAINED with inferior races like this!? In days long passed, there would BE no negotiation! Such a notion would be looked down upon as a cardinal sin against a Saiyan's pride! They were THE warrior race, defined by their strength and savagery in battle, not how well they can satisfy the egos of their inferiors! Salada crossed her arms over her armored chest, narrowing her eyes at the two. ...Honestly, she had no idea where to go from here. Her orders were as simple as "Make Contact" and that's it. What, was she supposed to mingle with these weaklings now? Was she to stay on this world until she was told otherwise? Just how long was she to stay on this rock before she got new orders!
UGH!
...But then Opherla said something while she was introducing herself, something that really caught Salada's attention! Her eyes snapped into focus upon the young woman, surprise... then disgust marking her expression!
"'Fellow?'" She asked. There was nothing significant marking Opherla as a Saiyan warrior, neither black hair, dark eyes, or Saiyan tail. If anything, she resembled something more akin to Earth's lesser predators, a... 'dog' of some kind. Her gaze then flicked over to the other one, a male who had failed to speak up as of yet. He, much like Opherla, had very little distinguishing his supposed Saiyan heritage... except he possessed a tail looped around his waist as she did. So... her scouter WASN'T failing her... There WERE Saiyans on this planet and they were... bedding weaklings and creating offspring! OFFSPRING! Had they no PRIDE, falling into bed with utter weaklings, tarnishing the Saiyan bloodline!? Salada felt outrage and frustration bubbling up at this revelation, boiling her blood from her head, all the way down to her toes. How could they do this to themselves, to their people!? ...Now she understood how their empire got where they got... Zaks wasn't an exception, was she? She was becoming the RULE: Halfbloods and false-Saiyans were slowly replacing their truer counterparts! Anger flashed across Salada's expression, as if she were about to yell at both... but then it disappeared... and a harsh smirk spread across her face. Whatever. If their empire was so weak that they'd allow these worthless excuses for Saiyans to live here and invade Vegeta, then she alone would be the only TRUE Saiyan. ...But for now, she had to play their game. If her scouter hadn't been faulty, then there were simply too many power levels of note for her to simply wipe Earth's population out, even under a full moon.
"...'Peace?' Where's your pride, girl?" Salada questioned, almost laughing at her declaration. "We Saiyans don't 'come in peace.' If you were a true Saiyan, you'd know this already!" She then looked over at the boy who STILL hadn't said anything. Somehow, that irritated Salada more than Opherla's blatant... humanity.
"And you... Are you just going to stand around? Say something or begone."

Opherla definitely understood this Saiyan was the classic description of Zaks' definition of them. She had recalled how some Saiyans who worked under Zaks weren't exactly amicable, and this pure blood was one of them, clinging to Saiyan pride and other things as Opherla shook her head and sighed. This was going to be a long day for her.
"Okay, I get that Saiyans are a dominant race. You all just go in and take whatever planets you want, but I thought Zaks was doing away with that." Opherla remarked as she looked at Salada. "So you're telling me that basically, you're one of the Saiyans that holds to your Saiyan pride and will fight any chance they get? Well, then don't let me stop you, Salada." Opherla declared firmly, taking a stance. "I'll gladly take you on for a fight. Right here, right now."
It was at this moment Opherla noticed the presence of Liek, as she turned to him with a widened expression, as he gave her a nod to let her know he had her back, as Opherla growled a bit.
"Liek I don't know what the hell you think you're doing but you're not of much help here. I can tell you and Salada are just about equal in strength at base, and I know for a fact Salada can get stronger than you quickly. You need to leave this to me, I won't stand for you getting hurt." Opherla stated firmly as she looked at Liek. She appreciated the fact Liek had her back, and if their power levels were swapped, Opherla would gladly take his help, but they were not swapped, and Liek was trying to back up an already winnable fight. Opherla needed to focus on defusing Salada's anger, and Liek was NOT helping with that.
Turning back to Salada, Opherla's gaze hardened. "I apologize for my friend here, he tends to get in a little over his head at times. Pay no mind to him. If you so desperately want a fight, Salada, as I said, I'm right here. Come and get me." Opherla declared as she was ready to face down this Saiyan. Yeah, it was an easy one sided fight, but there was hardly any choice here. Salada was NOT going to back down from her views, meaning a conflict was inevitable. Better to defuse it NOW, as opposed to later.

In all honesty, Liek next to nothing about Siayan society or their culture. But from what little he could gather from the conversation it seemed that this Saiyan before them preferred a bloodthirsty lifestyle of conquest and conflict? That just sounded… pathetic really. A life of constant, pointless combat just to feed one’s own pride? Just for the thrills? That would only lead to a cycle of hate that would inevitably lead all who live that way to an early grave… or madness.
His Grandmother had told him of a man like that, from her time fighting the Fury. When they had first met he had sought battle for the shear thrill, absolutely confident that he was superior to her group of friends simply by virtue of being a Fury. At first he was a formidable foe, pushing them to they limits each time they fought and he rose through the ranks of the Fury. Eventually they defeated him, then again and again. And his loses came at a price, robbing him of his position among the elite. It broke him. During their final confrontation he was a madman driven only by lust for vengeance...
To seek such a life... just how pitiable was this woman’s life? The pity he was feeling couldn’t be hidden from the boy’s face as he looked at Salada with his gentle blue eyes.
Opherla’s words, though, they hurt. His logical side understood, with her strength she could easily put this Saiyan in her place with ease. But both the teenage boy and Saiyan sides of him bristled with frustration at being sidelined. He’d trained his entire life to be able to fight! And how was he supposed to get real battle experience if he was just pushed aside when an opponent he could match appeared?
Clenching his jaw and grunting the boy floated backwards to give Opherla more room to work while muttering, “Fine, but you owe me Ophy…”

"...What's that...?" Salada growled, her fingers curling into fists. "...Are you mocking me? Who do you think you are?" This half-breed, making light of what Saiyans value... How DARE she, this little half-breed whelp!? Not only was she a mockery of the Saiyan race by merely standing here and BREATHING, but she was using that breath to make light of their Warrior race! It took all of her restraint not to unleash her full WRATH on this woman right here! Were it not for her orders... Oh, were it not for them... there would be a dead half-blood at her feet by now!
"What I'm saying, you whelp..." Salada growled through grinding teeth. "...Is that you should get out of my way before I lose my PATIENCE!" ...But Opherla wasn't phased. If anything, she seemed bemused! Salada looked in both outrage and disbelief as Opherla offered herself up as an opponent to the Saiyan, even telling her little companion to stand back! Salada couldn't believe this... this ARROGANCE! ...But they had gotten one thing right: Her Saiyan blood was starting to boil. She WAS looking for a fight, something to hit to blow off all this steam... But what about her orders...? Well, if some child begged her for a beating who was she to say 'no?' With a huff, Salada took her scouter off of her tail-belt and slipped it over her ear... She then froze. According to this "Opherla" creature, she judged her power to be roughly equal to that of this boy, the one she was telling to stand back. ...She couldn't believe it... Just a few minutes on this rock and she was already being mocked and humiliated by its half-blood locals! Tapping the button on the scouter, a ring would encompass Opherla's image on the screen, numbers rising and... and rising... and...
"What... but that's not..." Sadala stared at the signature as it slowly petered out at... nearly 86,000! "...Damn this thing. They gave me a worthless hand-me-down." The Saiyan grunted, tapping her scouter again, turning it off. "Whatever. It doesn't matter. I was content to just do my job but since YOU insist on getting your halfling ass handed to you, I'd be happy to accommodate." She lowered herself into a battle stance, smirking at the halfblood. "...And besides. It looks like there's some Saiyan in you after all. This could be interesting."
...With that, Salada would LUNGE at Opherla, swinging a fist around in a blistering arch, aiming to SLAM into her jaw!

Opherla easily saw Salada's attack coming. She decided to amuse the Saiyan by letting her get in a full blown punch, as Opherla remained in her stance, almost like a statue as she watched the Saiyan rush at her, Salada's blood boiling to the point her anger got the better of her! Opherla would smile, watching Salada get closer and closer... until... SMASH! The punch hit! Full on, full power! A shockwave sent air flying from the force of the fist! Salada had hit Opherla with her punch... But Opherla didn't even budge. Hell, she was still in her stance, Salada's fist firmly pressed against her jaw as Opherla looked down to see it, as she seemed to be trying not to laugh, hiding it well from Salada, however, it was enough to bring a smirk to her face and look at Salada. "Oh, that was your attack? I'm sorry, did you put all your effort into that punch? I certainly don't feel it." Opherla mocked as she was genuinely mocking this hot blooded Saiyan now, just to see how much she could rile her up to get SOMETHING out of her. This was definitely something new for Opherla, fighting a battle as a boss against a lowly hero at a low level. Or rather, she was the high leveled hero, way overleveled of a boss. Opherla couldn't help but hold her smirk as she soon straightened up, pointing two fingers at Salada's chest...
And proceeded to land a punch on Salada from one inch away. The Super Weighted Clothes limited how much force Opherla could use, but even then it still packed a HELL of a wallop on the weaker Saiyan! Opherla knew it would inflict a beating on Salada, even if Opherla didn't use it at NEAR full power, so she folded her arms afterwards to address Salada further, seeming to hold a look of unimpressment.
"I'm gonna be honest, I expected a lot more out of this." Opherla remarked to Salada. "You really came down here thinking you could just dominate all the inferior races of Earth as you like to call them and yet here you are, not even able to take down a wretched halfling like myself, and believe me, I'm far from the strongest being that dwells on this planet. But I also know that your words about being here on a mission from Zaks hold some merit as well. But I knew that Saiyan pride wouldn't just let you mingle among the people here without there being reservations. So. I'm offering you an ultimatum, now that you see how mismatched you are compared to me."
Opherla folded her arms again, as if she was ready to evaluate Salada's next words carefully. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Let your Saiyan pride go, and I'll take you around Earth for a tour. If you choose to keep fighting, which I highly advise against, I can't guarantee you'll live much longer. I'm not even close to full power just yet, and I'd rather not kill you if I don't have to." Opherla declared. She really did NOT want to kill Salada, but she wasn't just going to let her go on a pointless tirade of Earth either. If she was found by Athren, Callion, or even Liari, she would be in huge trouble, so Opherla wanted to make sure Salada didn't get into worse trouble via someone else.

The boy’s eyes focused on the scouter as the elder Saiyan pulled it out and used it. He had no idea what it was at first, and even after seeing what it was used for he wouldn’t have been able to identify it as a ‘Scouter.’ But he was familiar with the concept, according to the stories he’d been told the Fury had used a similar system in their helmets. He also knew that the Fury technology was derived from reverse engineered technological samples from Earth collected by the original scouts.
He also knew that the only logical reason to use such a device instead of ki senses was because someone lacked the skill to do so. Which meant if the woman was blinded or lost sight of her opponent when the scouter was off or destroyed she would be at a disadvantage. It was an opening that could be exploited to end the fight in an instant, either with a powerful blow or by grabbing her tail.
Assuming she hadn’t trained out that weakness…
He wondered if Opherla knew about it? Not that now was a good time to mention it…
Then the woman struck. A strike, seemingly with all the woman’s power behind it, right into Opherla’s jaw. And the Wolf girl just TANKED it.
‘So… COOL!’ Liek thought as a goofy grin crossed his face.
He didn’t know who this ‘Zaks’ person was, but apparently they where someone important among the Saiyans. But in the moment is was just a tidbit of information to file away for later.
What mattered right now was whether the female Saiyan was keeping any attention on him. If she faltered and focused entirely on Opherla for too long the teen intended to spring into action and grab her tail. Hopefully she hadn’t trained out the weakness and would be rendered helpless.
Assuming the stubborn woman didn’t realise her life was worth more then her pride.

Sadala's punch struck home, crashing HARD into Opherla's jaw like a wrecking ball into a wall! The shockwave of a mighty impact SHOT through the air, ruffling trees limbs, flatting grass-blades, and dispersing loose earth alike! The Pure Blooded Saiyan smirked. No doubt that woman would fall right on her ass from taking THAT head on! ...Sadala winced... Her fist it... ached...? Looking more closely at Opherla, the dog-half-breed...THING didn't appear bothered in the least! In... in fact, she was... SMIRKING!? MOCKING HER EVEN! Sadala growled with outrage, pushing her fist HARDER against the woman's face, aiming to budge it at least a LITTLE BIT... but not even the flesh in her cheek shifted under her strength! It was as if she were made of adamantine or something! WHAT WAS THIS TRICKERY!? "Guh...! I don't get it!" Sadala gasped, jerking back a step! "...Who are you...? WHAT did you do!?" ...Opherla merely asked if that was it, her attack... as if it hadn't even affected her! The Saiyan gritted her teeth, let out a ROAR and LUNGED for the halfbreed again, determined ot make her PAY for her insolence... only for something... to STAB into her chest! In a guttural WHEEZE, all the air was FORCED out of her lungs at once! She fell hard on her back, clutching at her chest, her eyes WIDE as she gasped and SUCKED in air, shock and bewilderment playing across her face! Wh... What was THAT, she thought through the agony knotting in her solar plexus... Was that some kind of attack...? Did she hit back!? She didn't even see it.... Removing her hand from the spot where she was struck, Salada didn't... see a gaping wound there... but her armor... it was... cracked...!? Rage FLARED through the Saiyan warrior, filling her with STRENGTH and dulling the pain of the blow Opherla struck... SOME... but not much. On shaky legs, she climbed to her feet, Salada gasping heavily as she glared down the half-breed. There was no way she was that powerful... She COULDN'T BE! On this backwards planet!? It couldn't be! "Sh... Shut up!" Salada spat as Opherla attempted to chastise her! "What... would a worthless... half-breed like you know about the Saiyans!? You're just another... whelp... You... You're NOTHING, no matter what... stupid tricks you have! You'll never be as strong... as a full blooded SAIYAN! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Salada's power EXPLODED as she roared, sanguine energy SURGING AROUND HER in a ferocious display of energy! Unbothered, Opherla suggested that Salada just give up now, after all, Opherla herself isn't even close to the strongest thing on the planet! It would do Sadala good to just give up on her Saiyan pride now and surrender! "HA! AND THAT'S WHAT SEPARATES ME FROM YOU!" Sadala declared, pointing a finger at Opherla! "I WILL NEVER GIVE UP MY PRIDE! NOT TO YOU, NOT TO ANYONE! I'D RATHER DIE!" The Saiyan sneered as she JUMPED back, raising a hand over her head! A MASSIVE RED ENERGY SPHERE BURST into existence above her palm! However, as she slowly curled her fingers in, the ball condensed smaller and smaller, into a mere baseball-sized sphere! "...But I won't die... YOU ARE THE ONE THAT WILL! ORGA SPHERE!" Sadala opened her hand, throwing the sphere at Opherla! The instant it would have connected, the sphere suddenly EXPANDED, falling upon the girl like a million-ton boulder! WC: 566 TWC: 2058

Opherla sighed as she saw this from Salada, folding her arms as she watched her throw the baseball sized sphere at her, as Opherla merely stretched out her hand, firing an ordinary... just and ORDINARY ki blast...
And caused the two blasts to blow up midair before it reached Opherla or even Liek, as the resulting explosion caused the air around them to gale massively, blowing up a small wind storm from the clashing of the two ki based attacks as dust flew from the resulting clash, as Opherla was once again not very amused by the Saiyan in her attempts to continue fighting, frowning as Opherla folded her arms at Salada yet again, as if she disapproved of her actions yet AGAIN!
"Look, I'm only going to offer you one more time to stand down. I won't even let you put aside your Saiyan Pride this time. However, if you really think you can beat me, then feel free to try your hardest, however, I do have to tell you that the moon is not full at all yet, so that places you at a heavy disadvantage I'm afraid. Why? Well... I'll show you. Here and now." Opherla declared as she soon closed her eyes, allowing the Lunar energies that were present to surround her, as her own figure shimmered a soft lunar blue, before she began to growl, her body beginning to glow as she growled more, as she began to grow in size... her body began to bulk up more than it had, her figure began to turn more feral, and her size began to increase dramatically, as she grew to 7 feet... 8 feet... 9... 10...
Until she reached the full height of her werewolf form, a towering eleven feet, two inches tall, as her figure was now revealed, and it was a shocking sight to both Liek and Salada. Where Opherla once stood, was now a completely different beast. It was red, blood red, just like the color of Opherla's hair. It was muscular, much more so than Opherla was at her base form. It had a very, VERY thick mat of fur on it, very fluffy to the touch, though it likely wasn't open for any cuddling at the moment, and her teeth and claws were sharpened incremently, razor sharp at that as the creature before them snarled. Was it even Opherla anymore? Or was it a raging beast that few could only control!? The answer soon came as the beast opened its eyes, flashing red momentarily before the eyes turned a full golden color, making them even scarier than the red eyes of an Oozaru, and then came the howl... the howl from the very creature that stood before the Pureblood and the hybrid Saiyan.
After the shrilling howl was over, Opherla glared at Salada, snarling and baring her teeth as she intended to de-escalate this fight the only way she knew how at this ppint: Intimidating the Saiyan to a point she would stop fighting.
"Last chance. Give up this fight... OR DIE." Opherla snarled in a deep, growling voice of her Lycan Fury form, now controlled and able to be wielded by her to strike fear into the hearts of all those who dared to harm her home, or her friends.

Wow. The older Saiyan woman was throwing the hissy fit of a lifetime. It was spectacular in a rather pathetic kind of way. It really did seem like the woman had put all her stock in a world view that was being crushed and stomped to dust right before the youth’s very eyes. And she was really not taking it well. At all.
But she had spirit. If she could learn how to channel it towards something constructive, rather then building up an unearned ego, then maybe she could become something truly great.
Besides, every life is valuable.
Even if she wanted to place her pride above value of her life, Liek wouldn’t allow it. No, his mind was made up…
And as the woman threw her ki blast he saw his opportunity. All of her attention seemed to be focused entirely on Opherla, blinding her to him and his actions. A lapse in judgement he capitalised on by flowing like the find into the brush and undergrowth, disappearing into the trees.
There in the shadows, gliding like the wind he witnessed Opherla’s counter, destroying the ki ball with one of her own. His repositioning also gave him a prime viewing angle among the branches to witness her transformation.
His eyes widened at the change. It was terrifying and yet majestic all at once, a towering beast of such might it caused him to break out in a cold sweat just from the roiling WAVE as the sensation of it slammed down on him. He could see in her eyes, the beautiful orbs retained the spark of wisdom, it was clear she was in control… but her words.
It was clear that both women where out to kill. He didn’t really understand why, not why they where both so out for blood, nor why he felt he had to intervene… but he did… and he was going to.
He just needed the right moment...

...And like that, all of Salada's posturing, determination, frustration... and the manifestation of it in her Orga Sphere... was obliterated. In the first couple of seconds after the explosion, when a giant cloud of dust and rubble exploded between them, Salada was confident. She chuckled roughly to herself, a sharp smirk arching across her lips. She was so confident, even if Opherla had fired a blast to meet it, that she COULDN'T overcome her ultimate technique!
"Heh... Serves you right..." Salada grunted with satisfaction. The arrogant smirk fell RIGHT off her face as her scouter BEEPED back to life, locking onto the spot where Opherla was with her power reading indicating that she was not only ALIVE... but her power-level remained COMPLETELY UNCHANGED: 86,000! The Saiyan stared slack-jawed as the half-blood creature stood completely unbothered just where she was, even the ground beneath her feet being borderline untouched with not a speck of dust or dishevelment marring her hair or skin! She was... completely unharmed! Yet again, Opherla would offer Salada a way out: If she was just forsake her pride and go back to where she came from, this beating would stop! Salada... only scowled! Exhausted, hunched over, one hand clutching at her wounded and still-aching chest, Salada raised a fist in challenge to the half-breed!
"Get. Bent. Freak." She stated, annunciating each word! "...You don't get it, do you...? A TRUE Saiyan would never act so cowardly! You might break me... You may KILL me... But you'll never take my PRIDE!"
...Such brave words from such a small woman... in both a metaphorical AND literal sense, as Salada would discover! Opherla, determined to ensure Salada knew just how LOW she sat in the totem pole of power, mutated and grew, twisted and warped into a dog-like THING, a lumbering bulk-of-an-abomination looming over the wounded Saiyan! Even with her scouter turned OFF, Salada could feel it OVERHEAT as it passively attempted to register Opherla's power level! She winced in pain as she felt her ear BURN against the metal and, for a moment, the Saiyan was afraid it might EXPLODE on her! Through a rumbling, guttural snarl, Opherla, once more, demanded that Salada kneel before her and GIVE UP! ...Give up the fight Opherla started...? Admit weakness to this... monster?
...Heh.
"I... am Salada... A Saiyan Warrior... and I will NEVER submit! Not to you... Not to ANYONE!" She raised her hands above her head, her palms glowing with sanguine light! "...YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME! HAAAAAAAAA!" Leveling her hands down at Opherla, she unleashed a barrage of red energy blasts, each one peppering the lycanthrope with explosive impact after explosive impact!
"DAHDAHDAHDAHDAHDAH!" She roared in both rage... and desperation. "WHY. WON'T. YOU. DIE!?"

Opherla was bewildered. Beyond belief. This woman knew she was beaten, Opherla could see that in her eyes, and yet here she stood, clinging to her hopeless Saiyan Pride like it was her lifeline! Her source of strength! Her very core of all that defined her very being! It confused... and irritated Opherla a little bit, considering the fact she was not going to lose this fight. Even if Salada went Oozaru, she would still be far from Opherla's level of power. Opherla needed to think of something, aomehow, to defuse this woman before she destroyed herself completely!
The ki blasts did nothing to Opherla, deflecting off her hardened skin like her skin was bulletproof glass and Salada was firing bullets at it. It was not going anywhere for Salada in her attempts to harm Opherla, and Opherla had little options in her kit to hit Salada and not severely injure her, much less kill her. So Opherla decided on one singular option at this point and time, simply be a statue and wait out the attacks until Salada's stamina ran dry, as Opherla simply stood there, not taking any meaningful damage as her golden eyes continued glaring into Salada's being, her core, as if Opherla was trying to get Salada to second guess herself in this moment. Was it futile to try this? Probably, but, what other choice did she have?
Ipherla had also noticed Liek do the exact OPPOSITE of what she wanted him to do as he was trying to move in and jump into the fight, Opherla's glare suddenly hit him, as well as Salada, as Opherla's gaze to Salada still urged her to give up, while her gaze on Liek could only be described as one singular word in a look. "NO." Liel was being death glared into NOT jumping in on Salada. Doing that would only further escalate the situation, and right now? That's not what ANYONE needed. Opherla was trying to defuse this by letting Salada tire herself out to where she just COULDN'T fight anymore, and if Liek jumped in right now? That plan was going right out the window in the form of this Saiyan turning her attention on the true weakling in the area. Opherla only hoped that Salada kept her attention firmly on Opherla, and not on poor Liek.

It was clear to Liek that Salada was tiring her self out, wasting her energy on mindlessly throwing an unending barrage of ki blasts that stood no chance of doing much more then matting Opherla’s coat. She was single minded, hyper focused on a single thing, a form of tunnel vision a warrior should always try to avoid in battle.
It was exactly the kind of opening Liek was hoping for.
He could feel Opherla’s glare, but really? He didn’t care right now. What Opherla was doing was wrong. This whole thing had spiralled out of control because Opherla was the one to goad the Saiyan woman into a fight. Granted the Saiyan had been all too happy to take her up on that, but with the right words this entire confrontation could have been avoided.
In Liek’s opinion Opherla had let her power get to her head and was on as much of an ego trip as the Saiyan.
As his Grandmother used to say, ‘The greatest battle you can fight is the one you prevented with your words.’
Opherla’s eyes told him that she wanted him to remain hidden and do nothing while the Saiyan woman tired her self out. With just about anyone else, this might have been a solid plan. The overwhelming demonstration of the power difference would discourage most people from pursuing a destructive path. But that wasn’t the impression Liek got from Salada, in her he saw the potential for this whole thing to backfire spectacularly; driving her to a mad quest for strength and an unhealthy obsession with Opherla that wouldn’t be sated until she was beaten… or one of them was dead.
The physical beating might not be much. But the emotional one would be deep. And it may twist her into something terrible.
Or that could all be Liek’s imagination overacting.
It didn’t matter in the moment, the boy’s mind was made up.
He rushed out of the trees, shooting into the air with all his speed. With surprising grace and speed he flew up behind the Saiyan woman used his momentum to try and wedge his fingers between her tail and her body before grabbing tightly.
“THAT’S ENOUGH!!”
“That’s enough from both of you!!” He shouted.
Looking at Salada he said, “Look, I get it. It’s frustrating. Not being as strong as you thought is… painful. But doesn’t having pride as a Saiyan mean more then brute strength? Shouldn’t your pride also demand you complete you mission? Or are Saiyan’s best known for ditching jobs to go off and fight for no reason? Are they famous for their unreliability?!” He then squeezed the woman’s tail slightly harder for a moment, “Besides a real warrior wouldn’t have kept track of me and not let me grab her tail… wouldn’t she?” He paused for a moment then added, barely more then a whisper, “I can help you train out this weakness though, if you like?”
He then rounded on Opherla and spoke with the same heated passion, “AND YOU! This whole thing could have been avoided! Why are you even fighting?! She never said anything about being here for a fight! You just assumed she was and goaded her into it! Why?! To show off your power?” His eyes gazed down at the transformed lycanthrope with disappointment, “There are so many other ways you could have done that! Why like this?” He looked down, genuinely saddened, “I guess I had the wrong impression about you Opherla...”
