The last Namekian hero didn't have the Dragon Ball nor did the village he was defending, that had left Arctic to assume one thing. The child must've taken it with him. While multiple Namekian's had fled, the connection between the hero and the child was quite visible. They had a connection, it had almost appeared as if they had been planning something or trying to keep away a little secret from the Changeling. No matter, all their efforts would be futile. Arctic was honing in on the Dragon Balls and it was just a matter of time. The only real difference between getting the ball now or later was the amount of Namekian corpses that would pile up directly by Arctic's hands.
All the Namekian's were fated to die, Arctic was going to make sure of this. They had troubled him for far too long and forced a delay in his plans and it wouldn't be tolerated. Though it may have been brave of them, they were going to suffer the consequences. They were going to be the prelude to Vegeta, the first demonstration of Arctic's wrath and hatred. Of course, he was going to save the intimate moments for the destruction of the Planet Vegeta but Namek was just going to be a stepping stone, one that was reduced to dust. It wasn't just the fact that they stalled him from getting the Dragon Balls but the mere existence of the Dragon Balls was enough to make him want to finish off the Planet. The last thing he needed was somebody else trying to come along to match him in power, that was just a risk he wasn't going to allow to remain and thanks to Loki, his decision was made for the fate of the Planet Namek.
Using the Dragon Ball radar, he had followed it to a system of caves. He had searched all around the external side of the caves and didn't have any results. This time again, it had just been Arctic. All the soldiers had been left behind to tend to the ships and the supplies. Their failures had been growing tiring, it was a debate within Arctic's mind to eradicate most of them. So what if they'd never see their home or families again, they had been nothing more than failures and failures weren't tolerated in the new Empire of Frost.
Arctic walked into the cave alone, It was dark at first but the further he got down into the caves the more it was lit. It was obvious that there had been people living here. It was likely that they were hiding here for their lives, hoping that it'd be enough to keep them safe from the conqueror who had now been approaching. Though there was nowhere safe, without resistance Namek was Arctic's new playground to do as he pleased. It was his land with nobody strong enough in sight to put a stop to him.
Arctic would've walked into a large part of the cave that opened up into a large circle, there was DOZENS of Namekian's there hiding for their lives and none of them were fighters. Of course, they had made the mistake of bringing the Dragon Ball. Once he had been spotted the panic had begun, screams echoed throughout as Arctic stood at the one exit. Nobody was going to survive, nobody was going to pass him and make their way to freedom. Today, the Namekian numbers would fall.
Arctic brought up one finger as he began his target practice, his death beam blasting again and again as it continued to pierce through the bodies of all the Namekians. Children, Elders, it didn't matter. Arctic had been here for a single purpose. He was going to find this Dragon Ball sooner rather than later.
"ha Ha HA! "
The Death Beam continued as more and more Namekian's hit the ground lifeless, their screams becoming quieter and quieter as the slaughter went on. Blood was pooling underneath all the bodies as Arctic unleashed all of his hatred, all of his anger upon the innocent population. He didn't even care if he was reducing the number of slaves, this planet was doomed. At the end of it all, when all was silent Arctic began to roam the room. Stepping over corpses and investigating if they had been clinging to a Dragon Ball. If that hadn't worked, Arctic would search the rest of the cave in hopes that he'd somehow find it.
