While the Namekian's had done well hiding the last Dragon Ball, Arctic had known it was only a matter of time until he or one of his troops had managed to stumble across it. It had remained in this single area for days and Arctic had his soldiers create a perimeter around it. He wanted it blocked off and protected to make sure that no Namekian's could slip in an steal it away when they had been so close. Though they had been so close, Arctic was getting more and more frustrated with the fact that he hadn't managed to find it yet even though he was right there. Every single day, he had checked the radar to make sure it was still within the range and the radar confirmed that it hadn't moved. It was frustrating, where could this Dragon Ball possibly be? They had searched the entire area, dug deep and wide and still nothing.
"Where did these DAMN NAMEKIANS HIDE IT!?"
Arctic screamed out as all his troops continued to dig for it. They had all known better than to pay any attention to their lord Arctic while he was in such a mood for even the slightest look could've resulted in their death. The best possible thing for the soldiers to do at this point in time was to keep their head down and low and just keep digging. Each of the soldiers had wanted to find it, they had wanted to put this Planet behind them and speed up the pace that they'd get to go back home.
The soldiers would keep digging and searching the area, their pattern effective and planned out so they wouldn't miss a single spot. They couldn't afford too. Each of them wanting to go home, each of them wanting to give their lord Arctic the last of the Dragon Balls to calm his nerves, to settle his attitude. The quicker he got them, the better off all of the soldiers were going to be.
Arctic couldn't help but observe as his soldiers were below slaving away, he was eager and impatient. He was tired of this, the Dragon Balls should've been his weeks ago yet the Namekian's had managed to find a way to keep stalling. He didn't quite understand it, they should've found it by now but it seemed as if luck was against him. While he wanted to rule the universe, it had appeared as if the universe itself had different plans. Regardless, it was here and it had to be found.
It was at this point that Arctic would land on the ground with the troops and begin searching the area again. He would use tiny Ki blasts to open up the areas of the planet that hadn't been deep. He had thought that the Dragon Ball must've been deep in the planet, buried enough to give them all a real issue. It was the only logical explanation for it now. Arctic would continue to go deep with the search, his Ki blasts making the holes in the surface deeper and deeper as he carefully examined each new hole he created. With each new area he searched, Arctic had only hoped that this Dragon Ball would finally appear to him so he could have his wish.
"Damn it!'
He explained again as his patience had been put to the test. He didn't know how much longer of this he could take, it had also been a tease that the soldiers had often believed they had found something buried within the soils of Namek. Each time though, it was simply a disappointment as the soldiers had failed to find anything important. With the entire group of soldiers and Arctic digging the area, it would have to appear to them sooner or later. Once more, Arctic checked the Radar, making sure that it hadn't moved and once again, they were right on top of it. It was here, it just had to be found, brought to the surface. Something was going to happen soon.
As frustrating as it was, the search was almost over. It was just a matter of time until that big orange ball was in his hands and brought to the rest of them. It was so close, his unlimited power right on the horizon as he was expending all of his resources to find this one last item. All he could do was hope that it would be brought to the surface sooner rather than later.
