At this point in time, the Dragon Ball Radar had brought Arctic and his soldiers to yet another Namekian Village. It had been one they had searched before but the Dragon Ball must have slipped away from the grasp. It was most likely a Namekian that had gotten it out while everybody else had been searching the surrounding buildings and environments in hopes of finding the ball. This time, it wasn't going to be like that. Arctic wasn't going to risk the results of his mission on the lives of the slaves anymore. Every single Namekian on this planet was now going to be a target, they were fair game for all of his soldiers and they could kill as many as required in order to accomplish their goals of finding a Dragon Ball.
"Destroy it all, kill everyone in this Village! This Dragon Ball mustn't get away!"
Arctic had shouted down from above to his fifty something soldiers he had brought with him to seek out the Dragon Ball. They had all been eager to find the ball, they wanted to be the one to bring it to their lord. They knew they'd be rewarded with something. Whether it be a day off, some extra Zeni, or some other type or reward, they knew that it would be worth their while. Each and every single one of them was motivated, they were equipped enough to deal with any Namekian that stood in their path and they were all more than eager to kill the green slug men that resided in the villages.
The soldiers had begun to open up fire on all the houses, fields and the Namekians that had been in the village. There was nothing that was going to be left untouched by them. Once the buildings had been toppled, soldiers would go in and begin tossing the chunks of debris aside, searching with a motivation that Arctic hadn't quite seen it a while. It was quite obvious that they knew Arctic was becoming impatient and through his impatience it was quite possible that they would soon become the target of his wrath.
None of them wanted to face their end to the cruelty of the Changeling overlord, the one who would soon have unlimited power, enough power to conquer the entire universe and have no single being stand a chance to threaten their reign. It was something that the universe wouldn't have seen in hundreds of years, the power that Arctic was about to obtain was something of legend, something that most wouldn't even deem possible. Yet, none of them wanted to die by his hand, none of them wanted to fade out before they say what Arctic was going to become. They had known that they picked the right side, that with Arctic as their leader they were due for some wealth, finances and plenty of other benefits. They just needed to succeed, they just needed to be the best possible soldiers for him.
The soldiers went from building to building, kill every single Namekian in their path and reducing the next structure to nothing more than a pile of rubble. They had searched through time and time again, awaiting to be the one to pull out the large sized Namekian Dragon Ball for their leader. They all desired it, not only for their own recognition and gain but to finally be rid of this planet namek. While the ship had all the resources they had needed, the planet itself was boring and the task here had been rather unfulfilling. Most of the crew had wanted to head back to frost in order to be with their families, or to live their single life out at the casino. Home had much more to offer than this back-water planet, and the boys had been eager to return home. There had only been a few Dragon Balls in the way, and a trip to the planet vegeta.
"I think I found something!" A voice exclaimed from the rubble of a newly toppled Namekian home. He was shifting through the rubble when he found something buried within. It was a round object that had the color orange to it. Though nobody could see exactly what it was, there was a hope that it was a Dragon Ball. It wasn't just the soldiers that was hoping but Arctic himself. He had been at this long enough that he just wanted his mission to be over, and this could very well be the second last step.
He just needed to see what this soldier had found.
