Kamae's journey through Namek to collect resources for his lab was going rather well, menial labor coupled with new techniques that let him create resources. Yet here now the demon had a goal in his mind, to find the dragon balls. Artic had made a deal with him after all, he but needed to honor it. Kamae's hands were full, as he had taken on much and more in his spare time. Liari's teachings certainly helped. A blinking of the radar shows nothing, but Kamae pressed on.
As the demon passed through a narrow valley of rock, his attention as he felt as if he was being watched. A quick turn revealed to the demon two black shapes following him. The demon could only smile as he returned to his duties of searching. He was being hunted, and he was curious how they would perform. The next few moments were a blur of motion as Kamae left the valley, only to be ambushed by charred black skin creatures who's faces wore skulls.
Kamae quickly defeated this attackers, but captured them swiftly. As the creatures lay under his grasp, two of them to be exact and each one as hideous as the last. Twisted arms flailed wildly, one possessing three though the third was a disfigured limp limb. After a moment of struggling and flailing, the creatures tired themselves out while Kamae firmly held them by their necks. Not enough to choke his precious children but enough to firmly hold them down.
Aye, they were Kamae's creation naturally, and he was breeding this foul monsters to play guards. Yet they were like puppies compared to some of the stronger fighters in the universe... But to a normal entity, or mortal... As the demon released his pets, they would hiss but it was akin to purring. Both of them rising up to push the tops of their heads against his hands to seek petting. The demon could only smile as he praised his children with petting, but once done the duo of monsters raced off to practice hunting other things. While he was sure he was going to be drawing attention, the demon no longer cared.
Returning his attention to the hunt in question, he began his journey again. This dragon balls were going to be extremely difficult to find alone, yet he trusted no one to search beyond Seneschal who currently was amassing followers on frost. He doubted he could impose upon his minions work without disturbing his current systems. So he would search himself, over another mountain by flying revealed nothing but more water.
The demon took to the sky, flying about the area in search of anything. It wasn't till he came upon a village that the demon groaned to see it in ruins. He doubted he would find a relic of lost power in a ruins on a populated planet. But still, it didn't hurt to look. So landing quietly in the middle of the village, Kamae looked about himself only to frown in disappoint of what he saw. It had not seen use in years, and grass grew up through the floor of the huts.
Perhaps a village of namekians had migrated away from here, or perhaps been attacked? He didn't care either way, as he began his shifting of stone and pacing about the village. His radar hadn't gone off this whole time, so he doubted he would find anything. Still, he trudged on by moving the stones one at a time, flicking them to the side with his mind as he searched. It was so much easier to move things now that his mind had awaken, and working was infinitely easier when one did not need their hands.
Having turned the ruins upside down, Kamae could only agree that it was not here. Stepping out from a ruined hut, the demon was greeted by a single namekian though that did not last long, as two more stepped out from behind the house. The demon's dead panned face of amusement was a clear sign he just wanted this whole ordeal over already. Blah blah, something about digging up the bones of their ancestors or some such. Kamae wasn't to keen on listening as they continued to prattle on. After roughly a minute, the demon grew impatient and quickly dispatched them with his new found techniques. An anti-climatic ending to a rather tedious search to be sure, but Kamae was sure it would turn around soon. He was spurred on by the idea of seeing this "dragon" however.
