Liari stood upon a rocky plateau overlooking the desert, her power radiating off her like a Lighthouse-beam over an ocean. Any day now, someone would notice. Any day now, SOMEBDOY would recognize the power of Majin Liari and come to confront her. They had to, didn't they? The greatest threat the planet had ever known suddenly reappearing on this planet? You know, someone with the power to detonate Earth as easily as a firecracker suddenly POPPING back into existence with motivations unknown? You know, LIARI, THE DEMON-APE-MAJIN-THING that nearly flattened a city by TRANSFORMING?
...Sometimes, the Majin wondered if things would have been different if she didn't try to save Kombu or Callion that day. If she had let them die, let the Changeling Brothers slay them, she might've just... stayed the way she was, childish and carefree... Oh, sure she would have been sad for a while. After all, her friends were still DEAD... but at least she wouldn't have been here like... this, alone and BORED OUT OF HER MIND. Bah... She didn't even really know why she was here in the first place, at the is accursed desert. Was nostalgia really enough of a motivator to waste her time in this worthless biome, where the sun was oppressive, the winds were temperamental, and the sand was coarse, rough, and got everywhere?
...Maybe. At the very least, deserts like these reminded Liari of the times when things were interesting, when she didn't have this... hatred, this... NEED to destroy in her heart. The two weren't connected inherently but at times they certainly acted like they were. Two dark forces married to one another, independent and, at times, inseparable. She hated that Saiyan for what he did to her... but she found that it didn't go deep enough to really MOTIVATE her the way the other feeling did. After all, did death really mean anything to a being that could heal from just about anything, revive from Hell after a time, and endure the worst its evil could muster?
...Maybe she just liked breaking things, breaking... people. She had to admit, there was a mysterious, addicting pleasure she felt when someone cracked in her grip. It was a perverse sense of power, an awareness that no matter what they did or say, all it would take is a flick of the finger and POP would go the weasel. It brought a smile to her face just thinking about it... thinking of Quash. He was so stubborn and prideful, always falling behind. He wanted to badly to be a true Saiyan warrior, someone that made him and his peers proud. Liari only had to poke and poke and poke at him to make his mind buckle... and she molded and twisted it, made him squirm and stew in his own hate until-
Liari frowned, her brow furrowing. She never did find out HOW he was able to break out of her control. Blocking her from getting inside was one thing. She could understand a mind being powerful enough, resilient enough to bar the door and keep her from busting it down... but to fight BACK after she had already made it her OWN? It PRY her fingers from his brain and cast them off entirely? Yes, he had paid for it. Quash was dead and, unlike Liari, wasn't one of the ones who could come back... but HOW was he able to free himself? WHY? What made HIM so special?
"I hate him..." Liari rumbled, puffs of steam escaping the holes lining her body. "I hate not knowing... Quash, why did you STAY dead...? Why couldn't you come back like me...? Why couldn't you come back... so I could WRING YOUR LITTLE MIND FOR.... UUUUUGH!" Liari HUFFED with indignation, PLOOMS of steam exploding from her arm-holes, her aura FLARING around her in a frenzied PLOOM of pink! The Majin gritted her teeth, and clenched her fists, her silver eyes glowing red. "...It's not fair. After everything, after all of that, you just STAY dead!? You're a coward, Quash! A COWARD! NOW I'M ALONE AND I CAN'T FIND OUT WHY YOU WERE SPECIAL!" Another BLAST of steam, another SURGE of power!
"...I can't believe it... I lost... to a DEAD MAN."

Today was the perfect day to accidently meet one of the strongest in the universe. Gemikai had been watching The Guardian of The Earth in a watching state for about an hour now with Mister Popo. The handy attendant was obviously used to it, but the student was in curiosity. Though usually the feeling is light, this certain watch session had a different layer of pressure to it. Something felt wrong. Gemikai was currently in his green gi while rocking his shinning new bald head. Gemikai broke his own silence and got closer to his teacher, but didn't speak. Master Dende was so focused on watching, and so hoping that this moment passes earth by without more bloodshed. When a Earth Guardian starts to worry like this - you should too. Then came a massive wave of energy that moved through Gemikai like magic. This sensation was so strong, demanding, evil, murderous, and destructive. This sensation caused the student to look at the master - in awe at knowing this was what his master was drowning in. This energy couldn't be human.
It felt like the Lookout was going wild itself. Maybe it was Master Dendes power - but Gemikai could feel and hear Dendes thoughts. This few minutes of a window opened Gemikai up to all kinds of small pieces of information about the source of this world shaking power. Gemikai hasn't noticed his own strength lately, because when the young warrior took off out of the lookout going towards Liari - Gem didn't notice Dende screaming trying to get his attention. Maybe Gem knew, and that's why he turned off his telepathic communication. Gemikai knew this was one of those missions that needed to be done even if it'll never be physically asked to launch. No one can really take this monster. Even Gem knew that. Whatever information Gem knew about Liari was enough that created just enough confidence to have him flying through the big sky to get to the desert.
Gemikai finally pushed out of the heavy clouds and slowly began to descend. The warrior could feel the power of Liari so close now it was insane, but just bearable. Gemikai was high in the sky waiting until her streams of power created an opening for him to find his way to a solid footing. If Gem didn't get a chance to talk to her, she might immediately take him for an enemy and move to attack. Communication is always the first step. After dodging a few more steamy streams of energies while in the sky watching in amusement Gemikai finally went for a speech tactic. If she didn't know he was there, then Liari might not ever give him the attention to hear him out.
Gemikai: "EXCUSE ME? YOU'RE THE MASTER LIARI RIGHT!?!?!THE BIG BAD!?!"
This was a yell - just enough to get her attention, but hopefully not loud enough to irritate her.. The tone had respect in it of course. Gem watched his body take itself all the way down to a flattop to position himself standing. Somewhere visible in front of Liari so that she doesn't find his physical placement to be less honorable. The manners of meeting a master gave him an advantage, Gemi knew when you get good enough at anything you deserve some respect. Flattery wasn't intentional - but more not the point. That was how Gemikai was able to rank Liari in his head. Masters aren't just good guys, or heros - masters are also those of the Dark Arts. Gemikai know dark magick when he sees it. If the young buck wanted to be stronger he couldn't tense up everytime someone like Master Liari comes to town. Besides, Master Dende is one kind of Master - and even Gem is curious as to the power of the Destroyer Liari.
"Forgive the intrusion. You can call me GEM. You don't know me personally, but I've heard all about you. It's a pleasure. All that energy makes it hard to focus on anything else. So what's a powerhouse like you doing all out here? blowing off steam?"
Okay Gem did kinda chuckle but his questions were honest and sincere. Gem sat down over the ledge as the young warrior watched Master Liari in her energy, moves, motives, and words. Can Gem try to connect to her? Entertain her? Or will he piss her off? Stay tuned on the next episode of Gemikai finally meets Liari.

Liari was so deep inside her own mind, brooding over things long passed that she didn't notice the approaching hybrid... not immediately anyway. She was too focused on her own brooding, her OWN problems. Everything was about her. And why not? She had done SOOOO much... but SOOO MUCH in motion... and now that she was back from her "little punishment," there was nothing to do! It was the one problem with strength: Everyone was afraid of it if they didn't have any. And now here she was, not even a memory to guide her back to the man that killed her. ...Only that he was a golden-haired saiyan...
...And then the Majin's ears perked up. 'Master...?' Liari turned her head in the direction of the voice to see... A rather large, rather MUSCULAR man, greeting her as "the big bad" and the "master!" She couldn't hide the smile spreading across her face... but she also couldn't hide how odd the grin was either. She was confused! She'd never seen this person before, let alone met him and yet, here he was, greeting her with as close to respect as she's ever known! Heck, she didn't even here a drop of sarcasm in that... oddly bombastic voice of his! If anything, he sounded excited and curious to see her, not at all fearful or resentful as most of his kind appeared to be! Well, before, this man had her attention... Now he had her curiosity.
"Well, Hello to you, Gem!" Liari greeted, casually saluting the man. "And what have you heard besides me being all... Big... and Bad? Betcha it was how cute I am, huh?" The majin lightly touched a finger to her cheek, grinning sweetly at the stranger. How odd... It actually felt... good to talk to someone that wasn't spouting self-righteous drivel at her! One might've described it as... relaxing, knowing that someone out there didn't hold absolute venom in their heart for you... at least, as far as you could tell. ...And he WAS a curious little thing wasn't he, asking questions? He was actually asking HER what she was doing here! With his pitiful (but not exactly weak) power level! Well, why not answer his little questions? After all, he was proving to be quite the entertaining stranger!
"Oh, I was just reliving some... unpleasant memories." Liari responded vaguely. "You know how it is, right? Old wounds don't really hurt less over time... or however it goes. ...But what about you...?" Liari would approach the man, leaning in close, her silver eyes peering deep into his. "You're kinda brave, arentcha, coming up to 'Big Bad' me like that~! Why're YOU here, huuuh?"

Gem had once again found a most formidable fighter in the universe right here on earth. It had happened again. Meeting with the greats. The dark energy that casually wrapped around this goddess was intoxicating - even if Gem didn't wanna admit it off bat. In fact he couldn't - they played on opposite sides in terms of morality, justice, peace, and destruction - and Gem knew it was bat shit crazy to be even near her. Was this a 'defenders of earth from the Guardian of Earth' kind of sensation or a USD internal policy that made Gem jump in. Honestly it didn't feel like either strong interpersonal connections that drove him to fly in her direction. Gem at this point of the story was watching the dark Goddess dive deeper into her own head.
The show from this close was amazing. Think about it - how often does anyone get to sit near her and watch her in action.
Usually people become victims of Liari's random acts violence beautifully but unintentionally - looking for Liari is usually a glutton for punishment. Yet here the young warrior was - a few feet from the beast. Not being noticed right away can be nerve wrecking because you don't know how a person could respond to your unexpected arrival. The look of caution and curiosity was wrote on the healers face as he'd hope every second Liari would notice him. By now Gem had hoped that Master Dende from the lookout was watching and understood what the twenty year old was doing right about now. Because to a weaker minded individual they would probably see a pleasant conversation with Liari as treason.
Liari was a beautiful specimen in her current form - feeling that pretty sparkly energy was ove- oh shit she finally noticed him. THIS WAS IT. The Big Bad has finally looked his way! Heart is fucking racing at this point bout to pop out his chest. Her eyes took the time to quickly scan Gem, not knowing even a look almost took his breath away. This moment got turnt up a notch when Gem seen her SMILE. It was absolutely adorable! The sensation of Gemikai was brought to you in part by his own dangerous optimism. The optimism that told Gem he should fly to The Big Bad and entertain her himself. The optimism that told him if he was respectful maybe she won't absolutely obliterate him where he stood. Gem kept a smile. Mostly because at this point it was clearly stuck on him - and HELLO NERVOUS OF COURSE. Gem was internally praying to the heavens that the smile didn't come with terrible intentions towards his life or planet. But that optimism kept Gem in the present moment. Anything good can happen right? Let's see.
The next thing the Big Bad did was so civil it felt natural. She got him with a dope greeting back! It was smooth but energetic. More unexpected heat went through Gems bones as he realized he wasn't experiencing the terror everyone was ready to warn her about. Liari literally stopped and said hey back so why do people be tripping off her? Right, the murders. Gem was ready to throw her case out in front of a judge at this point. She can't do no harm, right? Well Gemikai got her attention so now he just had to be himself and hope she vibes with him. Powerful women makes him a little weak in the knees tho - especially magical women. Gem waved right back and quickly with a smile as she saluted him. It's so many weaker humans on this planet - Gem couldn't help but be excited by her presence.
Gemikai was talked to and asked a curious question by The Big Bad. The context of the question was about information regarding how she knew who he was. Gemikai couldn't imagine how many people fear or hate the individual in front of him - so it was so understandable as to why she was looking confused at the random act of kindness fate placed upon her as she was choosing to mind her own business. Gem also laughed at her crack about her being cute! The laugh just increased the smile on his face. They looked like two kids laughing and smiling in such a fashion in a battlefield as such. Gem was overflowing with information to share with her - and at the expense of opening up to Master Liari Gem knew he had to say something. The Big Bad ask a question? You answer it, period.
"Heyyyyyyyy! Everytime I said I thought you were pretty I would get terrible stares! I keep that thought to myself haha! Back to the question- Hmmm good question! Me? I've had dreams about you. I can't even get into that part right now. Your attack was so fierce it left a big impact on earth. I have moved to a few different groups of people who speak of your name. Witches from earth, the USD organization, or even just "fighters" who claimed they were fighting you themselves. Most weaker humans assume you're just a monster. But ignorance can make them - unimportant.
The USD definitely has you as their current biggest threat. They describe your profile as number one threat to anyone. But they also know they have NOTHING in their arsenal to defend against another one of your attacks. They are still rebuilding to be honest. You are someone we are supposed contact base if spotted - but the humans wouldn't be help. A lot of them are politic types anyways. The organization attempted to get me to never engage you but - I was never good with harboring fear. Especially if I want to get strong enough to protect myself and my planet. I personally ignore it tho. They are weaker than I am so..
And the witches here do psychic readings. They described you as a Master. It was them who I really got to sit down and respect the strength you hold. They weren't feeling all the murder & violence but witches appreciate magic. Your existence, strength, and will to live is uplifting to people like me. They told me a long time ago - if you meet a powerful magical individual like Master Liari - you'll either emerge stronger or be crushed beneath her benevolence. They know you have the power to knock all this shit over, you are described as one of the strongest in the universe. Your existence feels relevant to the witches. We all learn from you. Only witches who can appreciate dark magick for what it is can really see your existence as necessary. Us magicial creatures of course. And that's a little bit I know just at the top of my head. I hope it wasn't false or offensive information."
He gave that woman a whole ass report. Like Liari was his supervisor or some shit. She was far too magical to lie to, and Liari wasn't someone even Gem would lie to. Maybe small shit for humans, but serious stuff was different because Gem hated putting himself in situations where he had to lie. Gemikai was a terrible liar. Besides, the truth always sets you free. The tone he used was as joyful and respectful as possible - it was childhood stuff Gem been through that kept him respectfully sounding. Gemikai hoped it wouldn't make Liari look at him funny because of how fun but formal he can get. Gemi could definitely feel Master Dendes energy high in the air stronger than ever, and the young man wasn't empathic yet but if he could assume - Gemikai felt like Dende was worried about him. But Gem couldn't focus on his usual master right now - there was another that stood before him. Gemikai had a feeling Liari might wanna unpack some of that information he just dropped, but until she wanted to touch on the subject of Gems words, Master Liari was breaking down what she was doing here. Which was a question that the man forgot he even asked her - Gem was in too deep with stars in his eyes. It was so nice to meet her and not get stomped on the spot. Gemikai activated active listening skills - making sure Gemikai was receiving what the dark Goddess was saying and what she could be feeling. Once she was done Gem took another chance to speak with Master Liari - with the intentions to help. Especially because she was closing in on his physical presence. Gem activated a little bit of flight from where he was standing, not to run from her, but to move a little bit closer. Gemikai wanted her to inspect him properly to earn some trust and/or respect. GEM sorta started blushing the closer they got to each other in the air. The stuffy and musty air didn't even matter anymore, because Gem didn't know today when he woke up he'd had the pleasure to meet the dark goddess. But let's talk about them memories.
"Damn. Sorry you're going through that. Yeah whoever told us time heals all - DEFINITELY lied. Memories can carry a fight that makes might useless. Have you tried working wi-"
Whew then she closed in CLOSER. She was so unpredictable, and just like her profile Master Liari was fast. She was such a wild card but at least Gem could see the interest and curiosity. Gem wanted to try to heal her but before they could get to that Master Liari got invested But mostly Gem was praying she didn't notice the blush - mainly because Gem found her to be more appealing than he anticipated. All the times he'd thought if he'd met Liari Gem would stand strong - reality was stronger than that. And maybe it was the magic in her system but she even SMELLED NICE. Gem had a sweet tooth that's for sure. Internally praying she doesn't read or nice the blushing - Gem went to continue asking whatever the dark but pink goddess asked for. The eye contact, skin, and dark magick had Gem HOOKED. "I should be terrified, you're right. And you knowwww... I probably am. Haha. But I was more scared that I'd miss the chance to see you in person. I would've been a sad boy if you were gone bout time I got here. I know I don't look it, but I am a member of the USD. I have my own obligation to protect this planet beyond then tho. When I noticed your power from nearby, I didn't want the USD to call themselves wanting to 'protecting' the planet by coming out here to disturb you. So I told them I'll go, so they can stay in a humans place. I didn't want to risk humans pissing you off to the point where you'd blow this bitch up haha! And most importantly even before I joined the USD I just wanted to meet you. It's INSANE I know! Besides, I hate that everyone talks about you but nobody really *met* you, ya know? Just people passing opinions and can't say hello? Most people are a little rude on this planet."

Perhaps this was strange for an agent of CHAOS, but Liari was completely thrown off by the utter... spontaneity of this man. He spoke so much so quickly, the deep blue Majin was left completely on the back foot, staring wide-eyed at the muscular figure before her rambling on and on and on and ON! Well... at least he wasn't monologuing about how evil she was and how he was going to kill her or something. In fact, he seemed... HAPPY to meet her! Wow, that was a first. Even in her most amicable form, that.... child, Liari had always been greeted with skepticism and patience for the most part. Joy... was quite the opposite of what she expected from most people. Even those who WANTED something approached the Majin with trepidation, the way humans approached the idols of their fickle, angry gods. They were cautious, meek, vulnerable, behaving like they were walking through a minefield.
Reverence... was different. ...Could it be that there was someone in this universe (other than the obvious few) that hold her in higher regard than radioactive dust? Could it BE that there was someone out there that, in fact, WANTED her around if for no other reason than sheer admiration!? Liari stared at Gemikai as he rambled, on, her silver eyes flickering between their cold, solid steel to a light shade of pink, the Majin drinking in his praise and admiration with interest... AND caution. From what little she could glean from his lyrical waxing, this thing wasn't exactly what he appeared to be: a magical creature of some kind. In fact, he consorted with other magical creatures, those of a nature that were watching her, taking notes and forming OPINIONS from wherever they nested! Perhaps it was because the Majin had spent most of her conscious existence (as far as she could remember) on this dirtball of mundanity, but if there was ANYTHING here with a drop of magical power, she should have known about it!
...Whatever was spying on her wasn't on Earth... and it was either WAY more powerful than Liari was guessing... or was specialized in observing across vast distances... and were... worshiping her...? At the very least, someone ELSE was singing her praises! Perhaps in another circumstance, Liari would have been DRUNK on these compliments, swooning and blushing as she, ironically, was crushed under GEMKAI's benevolence! ...But with so much stuff being thrown at her so... so strongly, Liari was left flabbergasted! ...It didn't stop the small blush from flashing across her cheeks, though.
"I... uh..." Liari fumbled. ...Then she realized she was twisting over her tongue and shook her head!
Get a grip, IDIOT. Liari scolded herself internally. Someone actually LIKES you! They WANT you! Revel in it. You deserve it! You're all they're hyping you up to me... and MORE!
"It really is a darn shame..." Liari purred, forcing confidence back into her voice! "...That so many are so quick to judge off first impressions and rumors alone." She leaned in so that her face was close to Gemkai's, tracing a finger along his chin. "I'm flattered that you think so highly of little ol' me... But let's skip past all the fluffy stuff, huh...?" ...Something inside the Majin flipped, made her feel slightly nauseous! Liari? Turning down PRAISE!? IMPOSSIBLE! Yet it must be to keep coherence flowing!
"...Tell me... what do ya want...? How can I, the little ol' Majin I am, help you?"

Gem had feared he'd probably rambled on a bit too long - that fear could be right. The camera view changed to the eyes of the healer. In continued awe Gem could confirm confusion and overwhelmingness - if that was even a word. Maybe casual communication about gossip like this can get someone even like her jumbled up. All kinds of thoughts moved in and out of Gems physical vessel as his instincts were forced to kick in. Master Liari was hitting Gem with the 'yeah yeah fluffy, let's get to the meat' kind of part of the conversation. It wasn't small talk to Gemikai to relay that information onto Master Liari; however, maybe it was small talk to the master. Everything can't be so one sided. The blush faded and the facial expression went into a thinking looking.
The moment of truth came a few seconds later when Master Liari hit Gemikai verbally with basically a 'what do you want' - in what Gem would call a nice way of putting it. Gemikai deals with dirty minded criminals of the human variety - and his memory served him right in thinking Master Liari could've been much meaner. Gemikai just barely caught it before starting to think he would stutter and fall over his words - like the Majin before him. The marvel of magic was over for the moment, now Gemikai just wanted to make sure he left a good impression. She didn't look in the mood to kill innocent people to Gemikai, and he didn't know when he'd see her again.
Drastic.
Gemikai - Thoughts: 'Well my dream of sitting, and just talking with her blew up. I guess my dreams are mostly ideal - but not always realistic. I don't want to lose her attention just yet! It's so much I don't know about her fighting styles, can she transform? Is she in a murderous mood? Does she accept students? Do she have a cute sister? What kind of candy she likes? How was dying(okay maybe not that one), and so many other not so important questions. I do want to fight her, it's not about winning but about reaching a next level. This will probably be my most risky move yet - but I need to shoot my shot!'
Gemikai gave it a few seconds for the moment of suspense. That demon enhanced heart was racing, ambitions was shaking, and Gemikai slams his left knuckle into his right palm - a natural signal for the fisty cups if ya catch my drift. Gemikai did it unconsciously but his physical body followed almost immediately, which definitely was a telling sign for Gemikai that this might be what he wanted. All the research Gemikai was FORCED to endure because she's such a big bad who supposedly died - returned? It was nuts. But Gemikai was here to take opportunity of her existence, and to create a few experiences of his own. A grin broke through that thinking posture and you knew the young man might have something to say. Gemikai's spiritual energy at this point of the story starts to boil with imaginary excitement.
"Apologies Master Liari. I got a bit too excited there. Anyways, since you asked - and forgive me if I am speaking out of turn but I'm having an issue I think only someone like you can help me. Won't bore you with the details but ..."
The spark of energy began from his feet, causing dust to push away from Gemikai's location. The location and the fighter - just perfect! Gemikai hadn't really felt pressure in a long time, and Gemikai didn't want to crack under pressure when it happens for real. It was so much Gem wanted to explain to Master Liari - but right now Gem needed to be simple and clean with his intentions the other stuff can come later. Next, the clear and maybe whiteish aura appeared after sparkles appeared and fluttered. Gemikai's natural excitement caused an energy flare up, and fortunately it was at the right timing for the speech. Gemikai would continue his speech as he gave his legs space for balance - and for a proper position in case Liari was wilder than he knows - and for Gemikai's sake, she probably was.
"I have some glitchy, locked but can be unlocked power deep within me. I need someone to help me bring it out. I still got a few things to learn, I'm hoping to learn a few things from ya or at the very least get brutal combat experience. I pray you don't kill me but It would be an honor to face you in combat. Allow me to be a healthy distraction for you, while you bring out a new power in me? I can go much higher than this - I just need a real push."
Can Master Liari push Gemikai to this 'new power' he spoke of? Will Liari accept the request? Will they throw hands right here in this desert? Stay tuned for the next episode of Dragonball Ball Horizon.

Liari's expression froze upon Gemkai making his intentions clear. She stared at the hybrid, her eyes unreadable, her body trembling ever so slightly in the wind as if there were something inside eager to break free!
"You... WANT to fight me...?" Liari questioned, a slight waver in her voice. ...A waver of HOPE! The idea someone would want to face her in battle honestly was almost as alien to the Majin as... liquid continents or something! Earth just DIDN'T HAVE any battle-hungry fighters on this world! SURE, they were strong and that was respectable and all, but nobody here SOUGHT fighting! They were content to squat in their little corners until the world burning convinced them to get off their butts and USE their strength. When she was weaker and her intentions were unknown, everyone was willing to thrown hands with her! She was just some bubbly little girl looking for a good time! Now that she was older, taller, wiser, and knew what she wanted... Why, it seemed as if she had scared off any potential rivals!
...Except this one. Besides ABAS, whose goals were solely limited to her death, Gemikai was the first one in a LONG while who didn't need the threat of a dimensionally-empowered noogie to get the result Liari wanted! When this was confirmed, Liari's face broke out into a genuine and WIDE smile, the majin immediately dropping down into a fighting stance! Butterflies danced in her chest at the promise of an honest fight, ANY honest fight, her blood dancing with excitement in her veins! Yeah, Gemikai might not look like much NOW, but if she could make him stick around for a bit, maybe that would change!
"You have no idea how boring it gets..." Liari remarked, pointing at her newfound opponent. "...Getting this powerful and nobody comes to face you. What is this planet full of if not MIGHTY cowards!? But not you, Gemikai! YOU actually WANT this." She patted her chest proudly. "...And you're gonna get it. NO, I won't kill you! I WANT you to live so we can do this AGAIN... and AGAIN... until you finally reach my level! THEN we can start fighting for real! For now, though..."
Liari would SHOOT towards Gemkai, throwing basic straight-punch at the center of his face, aiming to clock him right in the nose! If the blow connected, she would quickly whirl around and SPIN-KICK his back, aiming to send the hybrid rocketing across the landscape! She would then level a hand at him, take a moment to aim, then fire off two quick energy spheres, her other hand raising up two fingers to guide them! With one stroke, Liari would cause the first sphere to veer off to the side and loop above Gemikai while the second shot straight on, aiming to collide with him! If he deflected or blocked the second energy-ball, the first would come straight down upon him, aiming to SMACK him down to the ground!

Confessing the desire to fight destruction beings like such could govern in death. Is it the demon blood? Isn't this very crazy? And yet - Gemikai was standing firm to power up or go back to the drawing board. Right as of this moment Gemikai was kicking himself for not freshening up his empathic powers because her face was giving unreadable. Gemikai knew she heard it but perhaps the process was clogged? No, she was probably in disbelief. The disbelief that anyone would pull up so bol- and then she opened her mouth to Gem in question. The voice obviously changing with the energy of her body and spirit. The USD agent did not refuse the opportunity to give the potential opponent a head nod to the mistress of destruction - Gemikai came to get a taste. A taste of power. The position stayed firm as the guest continued to quickly process the opportunity and moment. Then came the smile, the smile of possible madness - it pointed so bright and full of life. The smile felt almost uncontrollable to the wearer of such emotion, but Gemikai could tell it was genuine. The strength of her emotion could make any man uncomfortable, and Gemikai felt a chill down his spine for a moment. The chill turned into fire when the dynamics of Liari's physical body changed. Gemikai of the USD, was in witness to the fighting stance of Majin Liari. The heart of his demon soul began to beat.
The news, the rumors, the internet, the loud reputation of Liari widespread through the world. The source. The focus she carried was only Gem - she started to tell this bald man exactly what she's about. What she's been through, the boredom of such a powerful fighter dulls her spirit. The many who are capable of climbing but chose non violent methods of living. The ones who fear her, are actually alienating her. She pounds her chest proudly like a Majin would as she declared the present and future structure of their relationship.
It would appear his courage to approach the mistress in combat, has set off a fire within the Majin - Gemikai was going to get exactly what he asked for, and it would appear and then some. The camera continues to circle around the two as Majin was finishing up her thoughts on keeping me alive for the purpose of making me stronger to fight her again. And again, and again. A little bit of fear was produced at the thought, but nowhere near enough to show. Gemikai thought he was ready. Even while actively listening Gemi was feeling like he could accurately assess his opponent.
He sensed she was beyond stronger than him, but natural optimism was going to be his downfall in the first bout of this fight. Why does the narrator say that? Because before Gemikai could see how the fight could start - it started without his knowledge. The Majin bursted forward in a manner of speed Gemikai was definitely not ready for. This speed even bypassed Gemikai's reflexes and sensory, the woman was there and then - Wham!
The first part of physical contact was initiated. Gemikai took the first hit without even seeing his opponent coming. The punch was basic but with the opponents natural strength it still connected as something of real pressure regardless how it seemed - Gemikai wasn't fast enough to dodge it. In fact, Gem couldn't even brace himself for the impact. It was a direct hit. The energy rippled with the sensation of that nose punch. The reality of his sensation almost took him out of consciousness, but the moment Gemikai came to - it was too late. As Gemikai went to fix his stance as his body began to catch itself off the blowback of the punch. Once Gem was able to catch himself - his opponent was already in excellent form and quick to strike. This strike was a spinning kick Gem ate and was sent through the landscape. The pain on his body was so new, so fresh, and Gem was internally in disbelief as his body continued through the air. It was no time to think. High speed combat was taking place. The sensory of Gemikai went off on two energy balls headed his way.
Gemikai had battle instincts, and up until the first two strikes they weren't on par for a fight like this. But Gem was awake now. This wasn't weak humans, an old Dende - or a dummy. This was real. Gemikai took a deep breath as the energy within him started to boil. The demon made quick thought into action - with both hands punched into the ground to change direction, and with the mixture of the power of flight - propelled himself up towards at a higher speed rate to get closer to the one he knew was above him - just as the second one was closing in. The camera and invisible viewers could probably come up with the proper thought that this was going to end badly for our friend. The explosion went off quickly as the second ball went for contact. The explosion created a small smoke. This moment activated Gemikai's adrenaline to its fullest. It only took two attacks for Gemikai's power to pour to the surface.
The more experienced fighter was tough. But the successful barrier of energy mixed with timing was used to kill two birds with one stone. Or two energy balls with one barrier. The green barrier pushed the smoke screen out of the way. Gemikai was rubbing his face as the barrier continued to pulse in the air for a few more seconds untill it disappeared like fading flames. But now, Gemikai knew Liari could sense it - Gemikai's power level had changed to a slightly more appropriate level of fighting. Gemikai was fired up like never before - this was real. "That was crazy! What a punch. Okay! I'm awake. Now try this!" Gemikai wasted no times during his speech, and towards the end of it started a series of these ki blast emit from his hand. The ki blast was the appetizer , because deep down Gemikai was actually ready to throw hands. But there are stages to a fight - and Gem wasn't good at the first few parts at all. The right hand specifically and the color was white, at his current form these ki might cause a hiccup - though they may not. But either way it was time to flow with the fight. The sting of her blows still linger but the demons power was only getting started. What could happen next? Stay tuned - on the next episode of Dragonball Horizon.

Gemkai's first introduction to the Majin's strength went... well... about as well as could be hoped for. The first punch seemed to knock the daylights nearly out of the man... and the kick sent him flying as if launched from a giant slingshot! All of this was standard fare for anyone fighting someone so vastly superior... though Gemkai seemed to take it better than most. She could feel it on her fist and her leg how the body didn't... buckle as completely as expected, bones actually standing up to the force that hit them rather than crumbling to dust on impact. He was tougher than the average fighter.
...This could be fun. And speaking of "fun..."
"Oh...?" Liari smiled as Gemkai defended himself rather admirably, summoning up a barrier to absorb the explosive introduction of her ki-blasts! Why, he was doing better than she'd expected! While Liari DID want more people to come challenge her, the ones that did were USUALLY ones that didn't know what they were doing or what they were dealing with. Gemkai, though, he had some instinct, some skill about him, at least enough to defend himself in a meaningful way. Could this be that Liari would have fun with this fight? Could it BE that she had something to look forward to!? Gemkai remarked how that SOCK to his face was enough to wake him up, the Majin only snickering and shaking her head! FUNNY... because people tend to fall into a dark, deep, endless sleep when she punched them! ANOTHER good sign: he could still joke and- ...The Majin paused, Gemkai's energy suddenly changing! It wasn't the same as it was before... NO, it was larger... DEEPER... stronger. Liari's grin widened as the man readied himself for his barrage of energy-blasts, the Majin herself raising a hand in defense! She KNEW there was more to this guy, she just KNEW IT! Oh boy, here came the fun part!
Liari took her time playing with the blasts as they came in, ducking around some, swatting away others, even crushing a handful in her palms! She took the impact of each one against her body with the biggest of grins, excitement swelling up rapidly in her chest as the shockwaves traveled up her arm! Ah, it had been so LONG since anyone of any kind of power could move her, even in as minute a way as this! Strength... It was as delicious as any sweet. ...And there was still more coming. Liari leapt back far enough so that the tracking of the blasts would, by the simplicity of their nature, converge on one point: The hand Liari extended to catch them all at once! As the blasts CONVERGED on that point, explosions ROCKING against the tough, rubbery hide of Liari, the Majin found herself... wincing slightly, feeling a very small... but GROWING BURN arch across her palm! The pain wasn't exactly unwelcome either, a sign that Gemkai's strength was enough to harm her!
...That meant MORE fun was afoot!
When the barrage reached its conclusion, Liari would pull her hand back to look at it, impressed to find...... It wasn't there anymore, reduced to a sludgy mass resting upon her wrist. Wow... That was impressive.
"Well, you certainly know how to make a girl feel special!" Liari declared, a new hand sprouting from the sludge in an instant! "My turn, though." Liari then leveled her newly sprouted hand at Gemkai... AND FIRED A MASSIVE ENERGY-WAVE IN HIS DIRECTION! Overkill for this stage in the fight? Maybe. Fun? ABSOLUTELY!
