Though the demon had narrowly escaped death before, he had returned... Like a rabbit to the wolves den ready to be feasted upon... but the wolf would learn that the rabbit was eager to feel the bite of its teeth upon his throat. He had come closer to death than he would have liked, but in so doing he had discovered that hidden gem within himself... A blossoming new evil. Kamae was sick in the head, this was abundantly clear to anyone who speak or gazed upon him. He was a man who had been dealing with powers far beyond his control for sometime now... And now the candle was burning lighter.
He had known that Liari could dominate not just his will but his desires to live, but never had he experienced this sensation before. It drew him to her like a moth to a flame, and the moth WANTED to be burned.
"LIARI! GET OUT HERE!"
Kamae demanded, knowing full well the wrath that would be brought down upon him. But that was just it, through his flailings Kamae had discovered things about himself he had never thought before. The shinjin that almost killed him, the human priestess who almost turned him to ash, none of them had brought him this low... No even defeat had only served his purposes... But now he was out of control, he didn't like it. He didn't enjoy the feeling of someone else controlling his leash.
Yet he was powerless to stop it, only to buck at the cage like an animal desiring to seek punishment. Because the punishment made him STRONGER!
"I've disobeyed your orders, and I stand in open defiance of you."
Kamae said no more, no grand speeches, no grandeur reveal... no this was personal on a level he didn't realize he could get with any other living being in any existence... She had done the impossible, and earned his respect, now he would earn his POWER. The demon's aura burst wide, letting it be a beckon for his master, a flare to bring her to him so that he might learn MORE. His mind already felt altered, broken beyond its veil but to explain that was to explain color to the blind or sensation to someone with hypoesthesia. How could you explain it when nothing else was like it. He felt aware of himself more than ever before, but was also growing away of others...

Liari didn't respond for some time as the voice of the demon-thing she had... appropriated reverberated through her ears. Whatever she was doing, she had stopped, staring ahead as if she were a machine on standby, her mind whirling. Disobeyed...? All this time passed and he had the GALL to come right up to her now, stick his finger in her face (metaphorically, of course), and state his open defiance!? ...It was kind of impressive, really. ...He must feel SOOOO CONFIDENT in himself.
"...Oh yeah...?" A voice whispered behind Kamae. Suddenly, a hand would SHOOT OUT, hovering just in front of the demon's face as a pink energy sphere pressed into his cheek! Where the ball connected, dark, ugly singe-marks were left behind as if a blazing-hot iron was pressed into his flesh. The rest of the majin's form would step out of the air beside the creature, a cruel, serrated smile etched into the majin's face.
"I have to admit... You got guts." The majin purred... before throwing a BLISTERING HOT PUNCH UP TOWARDS KAMAE'S gut! If it connected and the demon suitably doubled over it, the majin would simply raise her knee and CRASH it up towards his chin, aiming to send him reeling! "...But not for long after I'm done with you." Liari stepped towards Kamae again, this time CRUSHING the energy-sphere in her hand. When she opened her palm again, a sword BURST out from it in a flash of red, aiming to SLICE at Kamae's stomach! She didn't honestly expect the blade to do any permanent damage. After all, he wasn't REMOTELY HUMAN, Kamae. He probably didn't even have any guts to spill to start with! ...But getting one's body tossed around... that'd hurt no matter WHAT.
"So... Should I rip apart your body or your mind first, my disobedient little SLAVE!?" Liari questioned, fury BURSTING at the seams of the last word. "...Maybe I should throw you in Hell's lake of fire. I hear those flames burn people forever. Maybe I should CRUSH you against the clouds up there..." She gestured absently with her hand. "Some ogres said it was impenetrable."
"Come on, Kamae... Take what little bit of control you have over your life in hand and give me some ideas~! I promise you... What I'll do to you AFTER I put that halo over your head is gonna hurt a LOT worse than anything your inky little brain could come up with."

Kamae had expected an immediate retaliation, one as fierce as he would have if someone disobeyed his orders... Kamae understood what he was doing to the fullest and the consequences revealed itself very quickly. The molten hot fire causing the demon to scream out in agony, relying as he flailed wildly. The punch that came next was just as brutal as the opening, the demon doubling over and spittle spraying from his mouth, as the metal was nearly burned into his flesh, his face disfigured beyond belief. The demon was then thrown into the air as his jaw was shattered, the demon left reeling. His brain rattling in his skull as he was completely disoriented. The sword then sliced his stomach open only for the demon to double over in agony.
His inners were not immediately spilled thanks to very quick thinking and magic. He was completely decimated already, and utterly defeated. Though he thought he was nearly her strength in hell, he was not and utterly helpless, even if he had tried to dodge. The madness that had taken Kamae probably didn't make any sense, but that was the mind of a demonic scientist. Slowly the demon rose to his feet, his body stitching itself back together as best as it could. Holding out his hand, the demon drew his spear to his side.
"Now... Now I have your attention. Good."
The demon was hunched over, black ooze pouring from his wounds just as the black magic that had come from the portals. Rot, the decay of flesh and bone. Organic matter that was long turned to just gunk. The demon was breathing hard, his face having metal chunks sticking out of it as it had rapidly cooled by his blood. Though it was slowly dissolving as all things of creation do when exposed for to long to his flesh. Soon even the metal disappeared within him, as if consumed by his skin. Though his wounds were still present, it was clear lasting scars would not be a problem for the demon.
He could only slowly regulate his breathing as he processed the pain he was in. This little monster was going to kill him if he didn't speak up. Almost immediately the demon would go to his knee, planting his spear into the ground. His eyes going straight to the floor in submission.
"Master.... I've come for training. You did not seem the type to pay any lower life form like me any mind. Yes you informed me to go to namek and grow stronger. I have failed in that regard utterly."
Kamae knew she was ready to slay him, why would she now heed his words? He supposed nothing, there may have been better ways to attract her attention, but the demon didn't know any. She had refused to speak to them their first encounter, only to dare speak to him once in the cave. How else could one gain their masters attention if one was but a fly to the face of a monster? He could only consider this the best option.
"I could think of no other way to get you to train me than to anger you, and then allow the proceeding beating to be 'training'. All I ask is you do not remove my limbs, I could not effectively work without them."
Kamae was aware he was about to be utterly tortured, but what more could be done to him? He had lost everything now, his own freedom and his existence was held hostage. So he supposed this would suffice. The demon's mind was alight with the desire to fight, to get up and swing at her as brutally as he could. He hated this creature, despised its existence utterly. But he respected its authority. Gritting his teeth, some of the missing ones from the knee were growing back slowly, already forming in his broken maw.
His body hurt, his mind ached and he felt his vision swimming. She had done sufficient damage to him, he could feel it in his skull. Nothing permanent yet, but he suspecting this trail by fire was going to be either the end of him, or an elevation to a new plain.

Liari paused her attempted SQUASHING of Kamae only because of the word he used: "Master." A shiver of euphoria ran its way up the majin as she held her sword over the demon, a contented smile twisting upwards upon her lips. Oh... that felt good... Recognition at LAST. As Liari stood there, BASKING in her new but LONG deserved title, Kamae would take this moment to explain himself: He was here... to report his failure, yes... but also to ask for training personally.
"...You risked your existence..." Liari rephrased slowly, baffled by his reasoning. "...and called me out because you thought I wouldn't listen to my minion otherwise...?" Liari cocked her head, her smile growing. "You're really strange, Kamae... and you have a LOT to learn about me. I'm not some... god-thing that sends orders out and demands absolute obedience. You have to follow them, sure, but you have autonomy in order to achieve it, you know. You're not a robot... I think." Kamae then went on to elaborate that he assumed training would be something along the lines of a repetitive beatdown, like gravity training... only a lot more extreme... and painful. Liari began to shake her head again... then paused.
"I guess it would depend on what you want, Kamae." Liari mused, cupping her chin. "...I mean, I COULD beat you up if you wanted... but take it from me, that rarely ever works... A good motivator, to be sure, but we're not monkeys! You don't get a big boost if I throttle you over and over and over! ...But here's something I could probably teach you... and satisfy your masochism at the same time..." Liari dropped her blade, the sword dematerializing as it fell, before dropping down into a pseudo-squat. Her fingers curled tightly into fists, her eyes narrowing... all falling quiet around her.
...One second passed...
...Two seconds... She then took a deep breath and...
"MAKAIOKEN!" Liari ROARED, her aura suddenly EXPLODING, towering into the sky and SLAMMING into the belly of the great snake-road! Air WHIPPED around her, lashing at Kamae's face as it screamed like a vast choir of angels caught under a lawn mower! The space around them bulged and contorted as if the walls between dimensions were worn DANGEROUSLY thin, multicolored flashing threads slipped in and out of sight around the majin as if the universe fought for its coherence against the Majin's chaotic energy! Blue ki, sparking and twisting, arched around the majin, veins bulging along her shoulders, biceps and forehead, her jaw tightened slightly with strain.
"...Times two." Indeed, Liari's power had suddenly DOUBLED! In one GLORIOUS display, she was already rending down reality itself, existence, as it was understood, threatened by the mere presence of Liari's! She straightened up and spread her arms wide, allowing the sludge-demon a more... acceptable view of what she offered him.
"...It could all be yours..." Liari purred, catching one of the flashing dimensional strands and twisting it between her fingers. "...In fact, there's even more than just this... However, I will need something from you in return... Something to put on your shopping list after you're done with Namek. That, however, can wait. Tell me... Does this strike your fancy, Kamae? Does it not... tickle whatever passes for 'interest' in that weird little head of yours?"

Kamae was prepared for the worst, bracing to be struck when she spoke, almost flinching but he simply tensed up as he got ready to be hit. Yet the blow never came, instead the majin spoke of what he wanted... what he desired. The majin continued to speak and Kamae listened, yet his face went from passive stoic glaring to open surprise and wide eyes as Liari was finished speaking... at least until she shouted a phrase only for her power to sky rocket, the demon flung through the air before coming to rest on a rock.
His back pressed into the stone as he held his hand up to brace from the flaying winds that slapped his body with stinging whips of wind. Battered helpelessly, held firmly by the powers he could sense, the demon could only stare in utter disbelief. Kamae had lived for eons, longer than anyone else had any right too... but no one had ever even came close to Liari in all his travels. A monster with power in excess and she was putting on a show. Kamae didn't blame her, he was sure he would have done the same.
Once she was finished, she asked if he wished to learn this... To which the demon considered this a while, looking Liari up and down for tricks... For some hidden ploy in her words and yet it seemed she was genuinely offering or perhaps hope had blinded him. Hope... Hope he could actually grow stronger than he had ever imagined. His original strength had paled, no to say he had the same levels of power that Liari had EVEN in his completed state was flat wrong... Kamae couldn't best her even on his greatest of days.
Slowly the demon's eyes lowered to gaze at his hand, thinking of all the science, of all the schemes. None of them would matter in the long run against Liari, all he could do was go with the tide. Rising to his feet, Kamae looked Liari in the eyes. To admit defeat to Liari and accept her training was hard, difficult on levels Kamae had not perceived before. True he had come here for a beating, but he hadn't predicted Liari to be open to teaching him... He had believed Liari was simply a creature who told him to do things and if they were not done, punishment. But now that he had calmed down, the demon sighed before running a hand through his green thrown back hair.
"All my science, schemes and plans..."
Kamae stated, staring at the ground in utter defeat. It was heart wrenching for Kamae to say this, but in the end he accepted he could see no other way forward. He had failed to evolve, so now he sought the one person he believed could make him grow stronger.
"Mean nothing in the face of that strength... Very well. I am defeated Liari, in every regard. Teach me, and I am yours. Do this, craft me into a weapon capable of besting my enemies and ALL of my knowledge, creations of steel or bone... They will be yours. Make me powerful and I will flay the skin from your enemies so they might wail your name in ashen defeat."
Kamae went silent then, no more grand speaking. He was just a dog on a leash for a moment, he feared the wrath of Liari, despite her earlier words. Kamae was afraid of her now, how else could he explain the shaking of his hands. Subtle but there. Sweat formed along his face and brow. He stood before death absolute, even if it claimed to be friendly. Kamae's view of Liari had shifted from a majin to an being of destructive force. He could not wrap his head around her strength. He was still dizzy from his beating, stunned by her power and swaying as his adrenaline was running out.
He was in no danger of passing out or even remotely to losing his consciousness, but it was clear Liari had beat the living hell out of Kamae in that opening brutal attack. He felt his brain slowly recovering from its subsequent pin balling off his skull. She had hit him SO hard, he was surprised he hadn't died. He supposed if there was anything Kamae was good at was surviving even when he shouldn't. Still, the demon remained standing, listening passively and with stoic resolve despite his injuries. He would be fine though, he was tough as hell. One had to be durable in the chaotic empty space of the void.

"Tch. Don't be so dramatic." Liari scoffed, waving her hand as if dismissing Kamae's GRAND display of submission. "It's just you and me here. You don't have to make a show out of accepting my offer." ...And like that, the Majin powered down! As if a switch had been flipped, the universe, as it was designed to, flipped back to its average, non-falling-to-pieces state. While the more static elements of Hell like the ground were still ravaged by the sudden surge in power, the dimensional threads of the universe slipped comfortably back into their ethereal pockets and the walls of the universe safely pieced themselves back into something resembling functioning order. Pure chaos, as it was understood, had been subdued, for the moment.
...And a good thing too. If Liari had hung around in that range of power for much longer, the results might have been... dire. Regardless, Kamae, as far as Liari could translate through the fluff, as more than willing to learn this power! GOOD! Cooperation. FINALLY. It was so refreshing to have someone not kick and flail and scream when she told them to do/offer them something. It was like drinking a fresh glass of juice straight from the fridge: both bracing... and relaxing at the same time. Liari then crossed her arms over her chest and bowed her head, thinking back to the lessons Zamasu had taught her regarding this technique. It had taken the Majin MANY sessions of full-body regeneration to master even the basic level... and despite her bluff, Liari... wasn't... exactly... SURE how far Makaioken could be pushed. With her power as great as it was, a mere x2 multiplier was so unstable, she could barely keep her body together! It was like having a failing nuclear reactor in your chest as you fought with only your FOCUS, focus being divided between, like, a million different things, to keep it from BLOWING UP in your face! If you succeeded, GREAT! You get stronger! ...If you failed... well...
"This technique is simple..." Liari began, holding up a finger. "...But also difficult. By controlling the flow of your ki consciously, you can multiply it several times over short periods. In essence... you can overclock the natural abilities of which you are capable for a few seconds... enough to land a critical blow." The hand Liari held up then unfurled, beginning to swell like a balloon. "...However, if you cannot control your ki, or if you use this technique too often or too long... Well..." Suddenly, Liari's hand POPPED. Liari nodded at it for emphasis before it grew back. "...You die. Horribly. This is something we want to avoid, yes? To do so... Let's begin with some basic exercises so I know exactly what you're dealing with."
Liari took a few steps back before hovering in the air, kicking her feet up as if laying back in a recliner.
"Power up." She beckoned, waving her hand as if to tell the demon-thing to 'get-on-with-it.' "Let me feel your power at its peak. Then... tell me what it feels like to you. Physically, I mean. No need for any... flowery descriptions. Once you understand your relationship with your ki, you will better be able to control it in the way necessary to double its output without exploding like a water balloon."

The demon was taken aback by Liari's words both as this was his races and his own preferred way of speaking... He was being as informal and down to earth as he could be. He simply didn't have the desire to fight back, as it seemed like everyone viewed his way of speaking as annoying. Fair be it from Kamae of all people to judge but he simply decided silence would be his speech now. The girl went on to explain the technique and then what he should be practicing, to which he did instantly. Nothing flash as a transformation, and he silent silently while taking in the feeling.
He couldn't immediately tell what she was seeking, what feeling she was after but after a few moments of his eyes closed while trying to think how to explain his feelings.
"I feel like I want to stretch farther but cannot."
With that Kamae fell into silence, waiting for Liari to speak. Though whether she understood what he meant or not was a different meaning. He was unsure how to talk to Liari, they were polar opposites in almost every way. He supposed she would prefer his silence than to his prattling as she seemed to believe it to be, then again everyone did. From the most common brute to the highest king. His ways were dead, and he had to accept he was like an old man trying to learn how to fit into a universe he never belonged in.

...Well... Liari did ask him not to be dramatic. In an instant, Kamae's signature jumped up to a new plateau and stayed there... trembling. As the demon remarked, it felt as if he could just push a little harder, he might make it to the next level. He was close... Maybe if Liari encouraged him-.... NAH... that wouldn't work. No, just the Makaioken for now, then. Liari cocked an eyebrow at the demon, sighed, and shrugged her shoulders. Oh, well... Maybe once he has this under his slimy belt, he'd be able to put up a fun fight...
"Okay. Now that your power is as high as you can make it..." Liari instructed, holding out her hand. A small ball of Ki would manifest over her palm. "...Focus on controlling its flow through your body one place at a time. A hand, a foot... It could even be your big-toe if you have those. Make that power all fit into that tiny space... then let it flow out again." The orb would take the shape of a person... before condensing into the spot where its head had been. Small, condensed... powerful. "Be careful. Gather it slow... release it slow... Or you'll blow up." Liari smiled somewhat sheepishly and reflexively held up her hands.
"Before you ask, no I'm not joking. This technique isn't for weaklings... If you can't handle your power, ALL of it being unleashed at once, you're going to be blown to bits before you can exploit it. Think of it as a..." Liari touched a finger to her chin, thinking... "...A flood, but a controlled flood. You have to be able to direct the flow of energy through your body until it becomes... well... not EASY, but easy-ER." Liari closed her hand and the energy-ball dissipated.
"...So take it slow, Kamae. In and out. A bit at a time... Believe me... Blowing up from the inside isn't fun so take your time, hm? After all..." Liari glanced around at their surroundings. "...Time really doesn't matter all that much here so... yeah."

Kamae listened with attention, his interest peaked at the possibility of learning this... strange ability. Kamae was a scientist, an ancient demon sure but he had never trained his physical form. Kamae use to be able to simply absorb negative energy to grow stronger, and perhaps that was why he lost. She explained the technique well enough, and Kamae could only wonder what would happen if she exploded, he doubted it would destroy her. A technique perfect for a majin it seemed, but Kamae was far less durable.
Slowing his breathing down to a crawl, he began. Maintaining his ki was difficult to maintain due to his injuries and his inexperience with his own flesh. He doubted his master could understand, but he supposed he was grateful to be in his own flesh again. To inhabit nothing and be free is nice, but it left him feeling... vulnerable. Incredibly weakened after his battle with the cursed sword, it only left him even more unable to fight back. Yet now he was being taught a technique to help him improve his own powers.
The demon simply stood silently, his ki occasionally rising beyond but it was still a far off dream of being a master of this technique. For once Kamae was perplexed, confused perhaps would even be accurate. Not that it upset him, far from it. If anything this new technique only made the demon's broken smile spread, his enjoyment of the challenge evident with each new breakthrough. Small as they were, Kamae was doing as told, he was making sure he was being safe.
Yet such flux's in energy leave the body feeling drained. His muscles ached from his previous beating, and his attempts at this new technique only furthering the drain upon his finite stamina. Kamae ultimately nearly collapsed as his stamina about gave out, the demon falling flat upon his back before closing his eyes. His heavy pants for breath filled his ears, his beating heart and the sensation of the ground beneath his head. Slowly opening his eyes he stared up into the sky, lost in thought as he tried to recover his energy.
His thoughts drifted to Sobi, of her wellbeing only for him to scoff at his own distractions. Kamae slowly rose up to a sitting position while he shifted his thoughts to this new technique. His hand coming up to look at it as he watched his trembling fingers. The technique was wrecking havoc on his nervous system, bloating up small portions of his flesh was causing shaking. The demon looked at Liari sidelong as he remembered she was still present. Despite his shaking legs and arms, Kamae willed himself to his feet once more. His gazed turned inwards, he could see his muscles swell as Lactic Acid was becoming ever more built up in his muscles.
Taking in a long deep breath, the demon felt his chest swell with air and then it was released. He felt the air leave him, yet he wasn't done. He had to keep trying, and persistence was his strongest trait.

The more Kamae struggled with controlling his energy, the more Liari found herself musing about how... vulnerable he now was. She knew it took considerable concentration from herself in order to make her energy move the way she wanted to so... maybe it worked for this thing too...? It was hard to tell. Kamae's mind was so... alien. She could taste it from here, like a strong scent lathering the tongue even before someone attempted any conscious sensory action. But then again... she could improvise a bit... change the process enough... That might open the door and she could have a reliable weapon.
The Majin's own concentration wavered as the demon-thing scoffed at... something. A thought? A memory? Was the inky creature reminiscing in the middle of his training? Oh, this was just TOO perfect, wasn't it? If his mind was split two ways, perhaps between the memory of a friend and his concentration on his ki-control, then... maybe THEN... she could peel back those inky-black layers and wiggle her way inside. ...And this time, no stupid Saiyan PRIDE or any stupid Saiyan will pry her fingers from his brain.
Persistence may have been Kamae's strongest trait... But would it be enough for what Liari was planning?
"Here..." Liari sighed, puffing out her cheeks as if annoyed. "...Let me help. At the very least, I can give you a more... direct insight into what I know." Liari would reach out, showing the demon her palms as both a sign of peace... and a sign of innocence. If Kamae allowed her to approach, Liari would lightly take Kamae's head between her hands, lightly resting her thumbs against his temples. Her silver eyes would stare intensely into the dark pits of the creature's, her brow furrowing as if she was struggling to find a way in. If Kamae paid attention, he'd feel Liari's mind connect vaguely with his, lose and uncertain like an animal dashing from one end to the other to find a door. Slowly, the majin would seem to focus and her features would relax, images of Liari's various... failures in training flashing before Kamae's mind. Explosion after explosion would flash across Kamae's mind, watching the Majin burst, reform... burst, reform...
...Then a shadowy CLAW would LATCH onto Kamae's mind, PULLING AT HIS THOUGHTS!
"You see... It'll just be easier if you give in..." Liari explained sweetly, her eyes flashing red! "...Let it happen, Kamae... You'll understand soon..." And he would. He'd understand his position under her in FULL. ...But more than that, Liari was discovering the deeper she delved into that black abyss that was Kamae's mind, Liari... actually felt... CONCERN for this thing...? Not in the sense that she thought he was in danger but... eh... he WAS more than an extension of her will. He was clever. Sassy, yes, but there was no reason to shackle his mind FULLY if there was enough for him to use. Liari narrowed her eyes... then rolled them in irritation. ...She gave Quash some autonomy, thinking it'd work for her and look how THAT turned out. ...Maybe Liari had... EMPATHY for the thing that was Kamae, not wanting full control even IF she could take it. It was slavery, after all... She knew it from more than one master.
...She wasn't really FULLY prepared to steal away another being's entire autonomy... Just mere thought of it nearly made her think of Callion... and Kombu. Eating them... absorbing their minds and....
"...Just let go." Liari beckoned through gritted teeth, her temper flaring at her own internal distractions. Magic would flow into Kamae, flooding through his body like water rushing into an empty bottle. "OBEY."

Though the demon made no progress in the long term, seeing Liari approach put him on guard. Yet she seemed to be acting innocent, her hands up and approached him slowly. Normally he would have backed away, fearful of her very touch. Yet the promise of aid, her previous comments on her being approachable as a master and his fatigue all allowed him the smallest moment of hesitation. This allowed Liari not only time to grab hold of his head, not that he could stop her if he had wanted too... But this approach was successful in getting the demon to lower his guard. He jostled as she searched his mind, scurry about but his tired state proved a lazy one. He kept his great secrets hidden, but she was not seeking his knowledge. No as the demon became distracted by the images of training, his mind focusing on them to learn all he could. Like a snake caught from behind, the control that captured his mind was met with a flailing mind. He was frantically searching for any escape, yet he could find none! Caught, captured, and helpless.... In the real world, Kamae's head pulled backwards, even pulling his hair out to escape. The fight for control was a brutal one, the demon using every trick in the book to try to escape. He even slipped into the void, his whole body sliding into a slip in the space, yet the magic simply pulled him back unconsciously. His own magic was betraying him! Kamae eventually fell onto the ground before the majin, clutching the sides of his head despite her words. He was afraid, terrified of letting someone else control him! But the words that ended it all, and the nail in the coffin was Liari's final command to "obey". Kamae's mind sank like a boat in an ocean, lights going out as unconsciousness took him. There the demon lay upon the ground for some time, roughly a minute or so. Thankfully the demon finally would rise once more to his feet. His visage hidden behind green hair, which now housed a very large M on it. A moment later, the demon rolled his shoulders before his face became visible from a split in the waterfall that was his hair. A smile was visible beneath the shadows, his yellow serpent eyes looking at Liari. In that moment the demon could feel his power swelling, growing and the training that Liari had given to Kamae rolling about his mind... His power doubled, and he could feel something else. Having tangled with Liari within the confines of his mind, he could feel something having snapped. The rocks about them beginning to levitate, floating about them like they had gravity of their own. He felt... free... He felt like a demon... No, he felt like how he was suppose to be. He felt GREAT! Lifting his hands he stared at his own palms, flexing them into fists as the maikaioken raged within him. So this was the path he was on... So be it. Turning to Liari, the demon held out his hand. "What is next my master?" Kamae asked, his aura back to that of a true demon. He was still weak, but he was by far ready to begin learning new techniques. With a wave of his hand, his clothing shimmered only to turn into a different set, cleaner and far more comfortable to him. With this new attire, new power and his mental abilities seeming to only grow stronger, he felt confident. He didn't think he could defeat liari, but after this... liberating feeling. He would forgive her transgressions this time, as with it came immense strength. A gentle flick of his wrist let him test his new abilities as a vast chunk of rock, the size of a multiple story building was torn from the ground. Not as a demonstration of strength but it was clear the demon was testing his new mental abilities having been unlocked. Placing both hands behind his back, the demon began to reshape the giant stone with his magic until it was a tiny block cube of iron. How did stone turn into iron? Kamae's ability to create things with magic and his new found abilities made it clear he could reshape the world about him to his will. Once more the demon looked to his hand in curiousity. He could see his dna, his blood and bones. Nothing had changed physically... he had just been empowered and he felt mentally liberated. His concerns of mortals gone, and his love for his friends, family? It was so easy to let go now. He felt like water, able to let things he obsessed over go. No more concerned but the immediate concerns of his master. Having tested his new mental capabilities were, he felt much more confident in his abilities. Yet he was still weak by all comparisons to Liari, he wasn't going to let that stop him from reaching for new heights. As Kamae put his mental abilities to rest, the stones about them came crashing down once more. The demon had to wonder if Liari purposely left him with his personality or if she had failed to wipe it clean... He wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer to that but he was both infuriated and grateful to Liari. He felt like a bird in a nest, as comfortable as could be with the new leash. Perhaps that was simply the magic, perhaps Kamae's gratitude was amplified or perhaps it was nothing new. Regardless his mental state was that of a relaxed and very comfortable individual. Sure he had just been mind controlled but if his posture was an indication he was quite pleased with the results. "I am very pleased with the results Liari... I've never felt so strong and my mind is free of its confines. Its quite nice."Kamae stated, trying to not add flair to his speech. He felt so good he could jump for joy, if the demon was that sort of individual Instead he listened to anything his master had to say while he let his inner mind search the new technique he had just mastered. Maikaioken, a very powerful tool he can use later on to destroy his foes... but it needed to be nurtured. He could make it better, more powerful. He was sure Liari could feel it as well. No matter the age, or the time, evil individuals exist, but Kamae was grateful he had been moved to this universe. Now his greatest works could begin.

A wide, sharp-toothed grin spread across Liari's face as she felt Kamae's mind MOLD within her grip, his will conforming to hers like ink within a mold. For the first time since Quash, the Majin had gained a new minion, one FULLY under her command! A low, rumbling snicker reverberated through the majin, her sanguine eyes glowing brighter with satisfaction as Kamae's... hair was marked with her insignia. A black "M" sliced across the acid-green hair of the demon, his face nearly cracking in half with the twisted smirk arching across his face. If Liari had to judge that expression, it was the most twisted perversion of euphoria she had ever seen upon a person... and it was likely the closest thing Kamae was capable of feeling relative to the genuine article. His body SURGED with a dark, wild magical energy, infusing, overlaying, and merging with Kamae's signature until it felt... vaguely like Liari's own. It was as if a shadow of the Majin now hovered just behind Kamae, its ghastly hands digging into the creature's ancient and (admittedly) vast mindscape.
"Oh, I bet you do..." Liari purred, her grin widening as she soaked in his gratitude. There had been so much darkness in that form beyond the ink, so much malevolence built up inside and locked away... and now it was all free. She couldn't wait to see what kind of DAMAGE he could do now... and it turned out, she wouldn't have to wait! Seemingly just as eager to test his limits as Liari was to see them, Kamae tore a MASSIVE CHUNK OF ROCK out of the ground... and transmuted it to iron. The Majin blinked, caught off guard by the... suddenness and masterful demonstration of magic on display. It was as if such an act was below even conscious thought to the demon now, casually altering states of matter on the ATOMIC LEVEL as easily as one might blink an eye! What... aptitude. Even Liari had to cast a visible spell from a limb to make THAT happen! Kamae was doing it by flicking a wrist! The Majin narrowed her eyes. Even if her power still DWARFED Kamae's, even if she could still crush him into a little ball-shape and shoot hoops with him... she didn't like that he was BETTER THAN HER AT MAGIC.
"...Don't let it go to your head, though..." Liari finished under her breath, hiding her displeasure beneath a clenched-tooth smile. She need not let her own insecurity ruin the moment, though. By all means, her reach and power DOUBLED with Kamae now firmly lashed to her side. With her demon butler on Frost and this... thing set for Namek, ...and soon, her plans for the Saiyans, Liari's reach cast a shadow across all of mortal existence! She need only give the word to see a planet in flames...
Perhaps, even... soon.
"I hope you aren't merely satisfied in getting those new muscles." Liari giggled softly. "...Let's give you an opportunity to flex them. Tell me... Do you know of the Tree of Might?" Liari paused a moment for dramatic effect... and to give him an opportunity to respond. "I have... connections in high places, you might say... and they have told me of a certain legend. It tells of a holy tree born of but a single seed. This seed, while small, grows exponentially, absorbing the life-force of entire planets and condensing it all into fruit... Fruit that can then be consumed for the sake of improving one's own raw power." Liari paused again.
"...As you are, you are mighty, yes... but I have seen power that dwarfs yours even now. Your usefulness will be limited in the coming days if we do not change that... and you will be responsible for the results. Here is what you must do, Kamae, and this will tie back to your previous mission: I want you to explore the universe. Seek out the seed for the Tree of Might. I know it exists... It MUST exist somewhere out there... Find it, and return to me. When you do, we'll journey to Namek and plant it for ourselves. We will consume an entire PLANET use it to crush our enemies... Tell me... If you are... 'pleased' with the fruits of MY labor... imagine how you will feel after consuming the fruits of YOURS."

Kamae listened to Liari speak of a fruit, a tree of might and how it was something Liari wanted. Though the demon had only briefly heard its name in passing, the demon had ignored it completely up to this point because of his own Akshaya Vata, the tree of spirits. Not nearly as useful to Liari or him NOW, but he always held it as a special project in his heart. Still if his master wanted it, She would have it. Yet she spoke of something far more... interesting. An accomplishment of his own efforts, he had always taken pride in his own efforts but he felt this time... It would be a lot more fun. His face twisting into a darker smile somehow despite already disturbingly smiling with joy.
"Sounds Lovely."
Kamae stated, not wanting to end every sentence with "master" as he knew she tired quickly of his old speak. Yet he felt grateful to Liari, despite his hatred for her. But That hatred only existed for Liari, an intense despising and loathing that was like an inferno in his heart. He reeeeeaaaaaalllly wanted to hurt her, but gratitude and the wiser part of not being stupid won fairly quickly. It wasn't that Kamae didn't actually want his master to succeed but it was the unbridled hate only a demon could give. If she could see in his heart, the rot that once burned within was now an inferno of malice, despair and blood lust. Yet despite all of that rolling out on the inside, what must be a violent vortex of emotion, he simply looked happy.
A compartmentalized mind working in full unison. No fettering ties of little doubts or plans cooking in a neural network of clones... no a raw unfiltered demonic entity touched by the unmaking of the voids rawest magics. Kamae couldn't help but purr at his thoughts only to chuckle his response out after a moment.
"I am pathetically weak, I saw a glimpse of what you've fought. Right now I am a larva thrashing about trying to learn. I am growing and it feels greeeeeaaaaat."
Kamae was deeply humbled by this new series of events, and he supposed he had given up all hope of control. Instead he was embracing a more wilder mindset. In that mindset however came the most unexpected events. The demon was looking at Liari when his aura of green began to pick up in a wispy fashion once more, almost seeming like a plant unwittingly coming back to life. The demons psychic energies began to lash out, attempting to strike anything nearby with invisible force. Rocks began to levitate once more, the area rumbling in a terrible fury at being disturbed.
Yet the demon's mind was free, unrestricted and boundlessly on track. The tidal wave of psychic energies that had been distributed returning to the demon, not in a tidal wave of power but rather a power Kamae had no idea he had possessed. Scattering ones mind across dozens of mindless husks to direct their menial tasks, relaying his desires to his workers and the vast imperial network that Kamae had been working on which burdened his everyday mind with trivial things.
Now... Now all of that mental energy was flowing back into a vessel wholly unequipped to handle it. The pure chaotic energies that kamae demonstrated in that next few passing moments could only be the result of his techniques blending perfectly together. Trees began to sprout from the ground in hell, fruits growing in abundance before they withered and died. The air itself beginning to form about Kamae in a dome, spinning at high speeds as knives and other objects seemed to form from the atoms of air, Kamae transmutting the dull broken lands of hell into nightmarish Abominations.
None were sentient creatures, but the trees sprouted buds that were bat like creatures which flew for but a moment only to turn into liquid in the air by Kamae's will. Unmaking, and making on a level he hadn't dreamed possible. His magic seeming to only be empowered by his undivided attention, the world was but clay for him to shape... and he was the artist. Within moments Kamae had constructed marvels of the galaxy before them. Little golem men running about laughing as if they were adults given fresh life. A full demonstration was in order for himself.
He wanted.... NO NEEDED to see for himself if he was who he had always claimed himself to be. Finally for the first time the demon held up but one hand, palm faced upwards with fingers akin to them holding a bowl or cup. All of his creations, in their abundance all liquifying before coming together to form a giant ball of iron. Perfect in its spherical nature, Kamae would twist his hand around as if he was reaching deep within the core. The ball and the world about them beginning to twist, warp and groan. The shaping of so many things at once straining the universes natural ability to hold them in place.
If Liari was watching Kamae, she would see him shimmer see through as see through, fading between this realm and the next. Not that it mattered to the demon, his mouth opening to expel his air, yet psionic forces flowed from his mouth in bright green vapors. The ball seeming to succumb to Kamae's will eventually would form ripples across its surface. From the ball formed hands, fingers and arms. Faces followed, then the body. Kamae shaping dozens of metal men at once as he created life from the inanimate, made life on the spot. Where as some artists required bodies, required tools or objects for their creations.
Kamae needed nothing but his own mind.
Contempt was written over the demons face as his creations came to fall from their metal womb before him. Once finished, the demon simply scoffed before waving his hand dismissively. As quickly as the golems had come to be, they seemed to fade to dust, turning to melted metal with no heat. After that albeit flashy showing, the demon was aware he was not finished... He could do so much more, this was just the beginning. Undivided, whole and as he turned to Liari with the malicious grin of a satisfied demon, He could not contain himself in his joy.
"I am free... Unburdened and... undivided."
Kamae still had the taint of the void within him, poison to the universe and to himself. The demon was desperately wanting to stretch his legs. More power, and all he had to do was find a seed of the tree of might.... Yes....

Watching Kamae, Liari couldn't tell if the demon was having the most ecstasy his old oil-drenched pipes were capable of funneling... or was about to lose himself to a boiling, rumbling rage flaring up from within. He was a walking contradiction, this thing... and it was almost impossible for the majin to read him... or at least, the source of it all. If she had to guess... she hadn't fully enslaved his mind, not enough to persuade him totally that falling under her spell was a good idea. Sure, he LOVED the power. He was swooning over that as she mused, but there was something on the edge of his voice, beyond those glassy black eyes of his... He wasn't... HAPPY, as Liari would describe it. Satisfied, maybe... MAYBE REALLY satisfied... but this thing wasn't ecstatic to be in her service.
'...That's fine.' Liari mused to herself, forcing down the outrage starting to claw up from her thoughts. 'I don't need him to LOVE me... not really. I just need him to be grateful enough to do the next task. He's a MINION. Nothing more.' ...But it still hurt. Liari had just opened a door to power Kamae would have struggled with on his own for some time yet. She had given him a purpose he might actually SUCCEED at and even offered him a fruit from a godly super-weapon that would amplify his strength further! If someone had offered HER all of this, the majin might have just kissed them!
...Kamae's more... subdued reaction irked Liari more than she wished it had, but she needn't let Kamae know that. If it meant getting what she wanted, having TOTAL revenge on that blasted Saiyan... then FINE. FINE, he didn't have to appreciate what she did for him. She just needed him to know who held the keys... and already, Kamae seemed to be in the process of forgetting. Liari watched, somewhat disturbed as Kamae's magic flowed out. First, imprecisely, as a wave gushing out of a bottle too short for it... then with precision. He faded in and out of existence to a degree that even his ki-presence wavered, trees birthing and dying like Ayu could do, wind whirling around him at manic speeds as daggers of rock and glass whirled about in the cataclysm like a dancing whip of blades!
"Kamae..." Liari uttered like a frustrated parent. "Tone it down..." ...And so he did, but only in so far as the theatrics were concerned! From a ball of liquid, the demon spawned forth a dozen metalic men-like things, each one stepping out as if through a small portal. Liari... was dumbstruck, her mouth agape as Kamae seemingly just created LIFE... before dismissing them just as quickly. Liari blinked and took a staggered step back, intimidated by his magic. ...NEVER had she ever seen such a fluent and MASTERFUL control over magic before! SURE, Babadi could make barriers and control minds. SURE, Liari could transmute matter but THAT!? WHAT WAS SHE EVEN SUPPOSED TO CALL THAT!? ...She wondered if it had been a mistake to give Kamae this power-up. YES, she could still handle him... but what about when the gap between them would begin to close? What would she do then?
"...Don't forget, Kamae." Liari growled, FORCING authority back into her voice. "You owe me for this. You're not 'free.' Not yet." As if to display WHO was the dominant one here, the majin's aura crackled into existence around her, reality itself PULSATING where the majin stepped as if it were a thin, fragile fabric.
"The tree." Liari reminded him. "Focus, Kamae. We need the TREE. Search on Namek first. It could be there. I hear those aliens have strange magical powers. They might be able to help you. Oh, and Kamae...?" Liari raised a finger, wagging it at the demon disapprovingly. "Be diplomatic, would you...? We don't want to cause any problems until AFTER we have what we want."

Kamae's attention returned immediately to Liari when she was clearly displeased with his testing, and her power up made him snap back to reality after his enjoyment. His powers died down to a candle, cowered by Liari's and he bowed respectfully. He had gotten carried away with his new mental capablities. Liari also made it clear Kamae owed her for this power and the demon closed his eyes with a tilt of his head. He didn't believe this was given as charity.
"Of course master. The tree of might will be acquired and I will be subtle."
Having all of happen was good, but he was not in the service of another. His experimentation would come later on.
"I have a promising lead I will follow. I will report back when I have succeeded."
With that, Kamae fell silent once more awaiting to be dismissed or to be instructed further. He had an idea of where he might "acquire" the information he needed, he would have to find his business partner. But that was for the future, for now he was here to do his master's bidding.
