Master Dende was probably one of the best things that's ever happened to Gemikai. The choice to start training with him was a success. Today was the first day Gemikai woke up from a luscious room prepared by Mr. Popo. The sleep naturally felt different when your dreams are coming true in more ways than you're able to create more. Gemikai paid his respects to Kami when he saw him after getting dressed. Mr. Popo was attending to his other duties on the other side of the lookout. Master Dende looked so ready for the day when Gemi came around the corner and eye contact was made. It was the fierceness of a teacher that crafts the perfect student.
"When you are ready. We will begin our training outside. I'll tell you more about this training method before we begin. Please prepare how you need before we begin."
Gemikai found himself nodding smoothly before heading to the kitchen to eat. Ancestors always say - eat so you may have the strength for whatever comes next - and it was solid advice. So once Gemikai quickly scarfed down his food, did some stretching, and topped it off with a quick slight meditation, the demon would be ready. Soon Gemikai would be walking out with some extremely generic but nice Namekian Gi. Gemi loved new fashion like anything else that assist to express oneself. Gemikai walked outside to greet the green gentleman. Master Dende was waiting patiently as if he had a dream about Gemikai or something and got hype. Gemikai hadn't talked almost his fighting style, strengths, weaknesses, and other things of battle nature. Yesterday, the entire training was about the gift of healing. It was one of those things where a master sit you down and hammer you with deep facts about a situation they are connected to. It was a lovely conversation but it came with some harsh facts. A wise and tactical decision in any battle is to kill the healers first.
That insanely accurate feeling of people wanting to ignore everyone and go straight for you - is not always a good feeling. The Guardian was sure to be direct and impactful when he himself admitted he was killed once performing the same duties. For him, encouraging anyone with the potential to be healers to also be fighters was important. Then Kami told him he believed Gemikai could heal and protect others. Gemikai is always reminded that he has been watched. Not in a predator manner but keen observation. You truly never know who might be looking after you. Gemikai secretly waited for something other than lessons and story time but later found that his wisdom for the night was the training. Today was different - today felt hard and solid - not dream like from last night's fun - but a more realistic style of training. Right before Gemikai would present himself in position to physically step to Kami, a small conversation was had in the spiritual mental castle of Gemikai within:

"This training is important. It will expand on the training we do on our own. He hasn't taught you much. But the healing ritual has already started doing more than you know. This was the break we needed to push you higher. To shatter the limits of your current self. Our magical might be different but somehow I'm sure what he teaches will be incredibly more helpful in our journey. The USD don't have this kind of power."
"I know. This feels too good to be true - but I think this training is preparing me for battles I've never thought possible. It's powerful fighters in the universe. All it takes is one with a big enough rage to show up and kill everyone. Intergalactic Planetary Trade? People who blow planets up walk and sit with this power everyday. The high level combat and endless violence to determine the fate of our planet. This pressure is astounding, Renso. Can I make that much of a difference? Am I strong enough for stuff like this?"
"Gemikai. You were chosen by fate and magic to hold my power. You were chosen by the Guardian of this planet to protect this planet. All this is divine action in motion. I think the battles will be fierce beyond compare; however, so will the peace you can keep while you are here. It's so many people who wish they had the power to defend themselves. You do. The stronger you get, the less you let evil win. And beyond anything else you've been ready. You've been ready for all this for a while and kid it isn't even started yet so before you think fear will swallow you remember you are not just willing - but chosen."
The moment was so strong at that point nothing needed to be said. The advice was as correctly stated and with such statement - Gemikai stepped forward to answer the calling of his physical sensei. Now face to face in the lookout with looks of prepared violence, Gemikai and Dende stood beautifully for a few minutes. Maybe in admiration or grace, but the moment of silence wasn't unwelcomed. This moment was used by Gemikai to take a deep breath. The energy of Master Dende was still so layered in the strongest of spiritual fabric to Gemikai, it was still all so overwhelming. Yet still, Gemikai was done thinking he wasn't ready for greatness. Without knowing what kind of training was coming next, the demon witch warrior opened his eyes to continue to be ready for the lesson. Master Dende did not speak physically but his energy did start to build up - which was starting to crack the floor. The energy in the air started to change and the rumbling of strongee energy pulsed through Master Dende physical aura. Gemikai didn't take long to see something was going on and took a small hop step back to increase distance - when his feet landed back on the land it was clear Dende wasn't the only one ready to build energy. Gemikai began to build his energy up for what felt to be an energetic clashing showdown.
The right arm was building a colorful motion of energetic properties, although you can only see it in his right hand. This would be Gemikai's first time training offense maneuvers with his new sensei - there wasn't any word on it but Master Dende seemed happy to get things shaken. Gemikai prepared his new move, The Force Cannon in preparation to show his master what he was capable of. Master Dende took one hand in singular fashion, and finally released his focused energy, a yellow beam blast to do damage to the young blood. Gemikai went for a right hand push through the air - causing a wave of pressurized energy to escape his hand and travel through the air.
Two energy blast headed straight for each other until a clashing connection erupted. The explosion took a few minutes and in those minutes it was Gemikai pushing his body to stand firm - truthfully Master Dende blast was stronger and Gemi was trying to brace himself. Gemikai finally felt the explosion let up and when the smoked settled it was clear Master Dende was still standing - though fortunately with a positive expression on his physical demeanor. Nothing was spoken but smiles were exchanged - this smile was between warriors, students and masters, but most importantly Earth's Greatest Protectors was happy to practice to protect. It was an honor. Gemikai knew he would have to train that technique better later on, but for now it satisfied the Guardian. It pleased his teacher to know it was time to take it to the next level.
