Cooler's Casino, a place that Arctic hardly ever ventured too before had become a frequent place for him to meet people. Not only did this place hold the wealthy as they enjoyed spending every dollar they had on the entertainment here but it also held a vast amount of the shady individuals that the PTO had to offer. The type of individuals who would do nearly anything to benefit themselves and make a little bit of money on the side. Today, Arctic was following a lead and looking for information on the Tree of Might seed. He was reaching deep if his search had brought him here but it very well may be worth it. Unfortunately, the research he had conducted so far had confirmed that the tree did exist but the whereabouts on the seeds was still unknown. That's exactly what he wanted to find out for himself. Where could he get the seeds and how long would they need to be planted before the mighty tree grew out of them? Questions, Questions. Entering the Casino with his hands behind his back, Arctic walked through the crowd rather unnoticed. He was rather short in comparison to the rest of the crowd in his first form and didn't often draw much attention to those whom were unaware of what he truly was. Those that knew of him would be slightly terrified but they had seemed to be lacking from this crowd.
Arctic would be looking for one certain individual that he was supposed to meet. It was a lowly PTO soldier that had expanded his adventures throughout the universe and spent a fair amount of time on different worlds. Arctic had hoped this lowly soldier may have come along some information regarding the tree during his adventures and perhaps would have a location to find the seeds. Though the simple fact of the matter was that it was highly unlikely, Arctic wasn't going to leave any stone untouched. His goals wouldn't allow for him to fail due to negligence, he knew he needed power to rival even the gods and there was few ways to get there quickly. He would drain every single resource he had available to him in order to get to where he needed to be, after all.. Frost needed new leadership and the PTO needed to be handled appropriately.
After a short search Arctic would make his way over to the bar, though this area of the Casino was much nicer than the one he had previously met Daru in. This area seemed to host the wealthy and had some class. It was almost a place that Arctic could find himself settling into rather nicely. He propped himself up onto a bar stool and glanced over at the waiter. Though unlike most in the room, Arctic wasn't willing to wait overly long for his drink. After all, the future ruler of this planet did deserve some urgency.
"Servant, a Kold brew, Now." His tone was dead set and rather cold. His demand was more than enough of a warning vocally to the servant to rush the order and it didn't take very long before the drink would arrive in front of Arctic and he would enjoy sipping on it from time to time. It was at this point that there was nothing else to do but await the arrival of the soldier. Though while he was waiting he couldn't help but bring up a communication device and begin to look through all of the soldiers records. He wanted to see exactly where this man has been and to what extent his missions were, after all the more he knew, the better of he'd be in every situation.
When Arctic finally found the file, he was lost in his communication device. The world around him almost didn't seem present, of course this was down to the simple fact that it wasn't as important as his overall goals. The soldiers name was Ango and he had been deployed to conquer a vast many planets. He was even on the conquest of Namek and along the list was countless others. He had seemed to always be part of the original invasion force in order to claim the planet and never stuck around long after the mission was done. It was almost impressive how he managed to survive all those encounters but maybe there had been another reason for it. Maybe skill wasn't why this individual survived, maybe it was his intelligence or cowardice that got him through.
Though the longer Arctic went through the file, the more impatient he became. He continued to drink his drink until he needed to order another but there was still no signs of Ango anywhere around. Arctic couldn't help but assume that it couldn't have been his smarts that got him through all of those invasions, because his current lateness was seemingly putting him in the crosshairs to have his own life ended. Arctic didn't like to wait, especially on others. His time was much more valuable than everybody elses, or at least that is how he looked at it and every second he spent wasting his time was a second that he couldn't afford to lose.
There was much to be done when taking the steps to build a galactic empire and time was of the essence. Along side this research, Arctic also had a great many things to attend too. He needed to recruit numbers into his own personal militia, form battle plans, figure out how the best way to conquer the planet was and most importantly, he needed to gain a very vast amount of strength. His leadership wouldn't mean a thing if he wasn't strong enough to hold it or to punish all those underneath him for their failures. Angos time was running out.
"He's a dead man." Arctic said coldly as he placed the mug down on the counter. He was annoyed and ready to find this Ango and just about to take his leave.

The clinking of glass, the sounds of laughter and the sin that filled the air felt wonderful. Gambling, debauchery, drinking, and recreational herbal intact, all of it was revitalizing to one who fed on negative energy. A single voice snapped the green haired gentlemen from his thoughts as the bartender asked for his order. He had been sitting here for... hours? He didn't know. The casino's always hide the outside views so that time escaped ones notice easily.
Kamae was not immune to this effect, his smile etching across his face as he simply nodded for a refill of his last order. An old whiskey that was from far off world, but as the demon began to take a sip from the drink he felt his head suddenly begin to hurt. Like an axe had been driven down the center of his skull, and his eyes went wide. Kamae was tolerant of pain, after all he body hopped when one of his spares was damaged from an experiment. Easily done when in safety and alone, not so much when out in the field.
But in this case, even the demons limits for pain tolerance caused him to grip his head in pain. Spilling his drink as his other hand tried to balance himself upon the counter. This headaches had become much more frequent now that he had pushed himself past his limits. By sheer will power alone against Liari the demon had forced his DNA to begin altering using magic, reverting his eyes to the way they were before. But now that had long healed, but his brain had begun to hurt beyond anything he had experienced before.
The bar tender would see if he was alright and once the demon looked to the man to confirm he was indeed alright... The bartender noticed the black ooze emitting from the demons nose, primal magic and as it dripped down onto the ground, the floor emitted a thin vapor of smoke. It was not burning... but rather being dissolved like highly corrosive acid. This caused the man to back peddle from the demon, to which Kamae wiped the blood from his nose with a huff. Apologizing for the carpet, the demon returned his gaze to the counter, taking another drink and trying to return to being unnoticed.
Kamae needed to get his foot hold, he needed to secure power so he could begin his experiments. His current situation was dire, not only had his war between the saiyans and USD FAILED! The mere thought of it enraged him to no end, but not only had he failed, he had been mauled by a majin which caused the demon to push himself to far... But now he was prepared, as he knew this universe had fighters leagues above his own universe. Though he couldn't... remember them. Gripping his head, Kamae only remembered... Sobi? But sobi was here right? Wait...
"Where did I come from?"
Kamae asked, unable to find his memories amongst the fog that lay upon his brain like a blanket. Ancient magic, beyond Kamae's conception was forcing his mind to forget... A horrific thing that he could not prevent from happening. His world, his people, his friends, enemies, the millions of souls he had taken, the civilizations he had witnessed disappear...
He was going to forget his whole past... He was being reborn just as he had feared of the soul recycling machine... No... The demons already pale complexation soon dulled more, his yellow eyes staring helplessly at the drink before him. What.... what was he going to turn into? What would he be when the magic finished its unholy work with him? Gods above it struck a fear into Kamae that he had never dreamed of... He was being unmade... Uncreated and reshaped to survive... Gripping his head in fear, the demon frantically began to think back on his past, his past conquests, and failures. He... he didn't remember any of them.
"NO!"
Kamae shouted, slamming his fists into the counter, causing it to splinter into thousands of pieces. Rage filled the black eyes of the demon, his yellow serpent eyes slitted like a deadly predators. But as the eyes of the room settled on him once more, he simply straightened himself up, adjusting his tie and jacket as a refined man composing himself amongst the sea of eyes now upon him. A gentlemen, first, a monster second, Kamae held out his hand with his finger pointed at the broken bar. A moment later, a green tendril of magic creeped out from the end of his finger out towards the broken counter.
It took only a moment but as the final touches were put onto the counter it was clear that it was not completely perfect. A result of Kamae not using the technique in eons. But he was relearning it pretty quickly.

Sitting at the bar only drew out more of Arctic's impatience, he would rapidly finish his drink and glace the glass down and square up what he owed. He was rather quite annoyed already as the had already wasted enough time waiting on somebody else. All this time could've been easily put elsewhere. He had plenty of training to do, plans to make and resources to gather. He couldn't have nights like these where productivity was at an all time low and what made it worse was that it wasn't his own doing. He had planned to gather information but somebody else had brought that plan to a halt. He knew for certain that Ango would cease to live the next time they crossed paths. You see, Arctic firmly believed that he was more valuable than everybody else around and with that logic, his time was also more valuable than everybody elses. It was an insult to him for somebody to spend his time on an empty promise of information and Arctic wouldn't tolerate such a thing. It was an issue that would be rectified as soon as possible.
Though, when Arctic got up to leave and began to make his exit something would've caught his attention. A faint sound of a man questioning himself followed by a fist breaking the very counter that Arctic was sitting at all but a few seconds ago. He couldn't help but find this to be rather interesting. Maybe this man was simply intoxicated or maybe it was something else but what was really interesting was for a brief moment in rage, the mans power level was crystal clear to sense and he was much more of a warrior than most of the soldiers on the Planet. In fact, compared to most he had absolutely been spectacular. Now being that much above average was more than enough to bring Arctic's full attention, and given that Arctic had just officially started a political opposition to the PTO in the form of the Galactic Order of Frost, he was seeking out new members and when they displayed even the slightest bit of power, people were a resource.
Now, whether this individual would be interested in this type of thing or not was another story but at least Arctic could attempt to have a conversation with the man. As Arctic approached the man he folded his arms behind his back just in time to witness the man repairing the counter, now it wasn't in perfect shape but it was more than enough to pass as fixed. For a moment, all eyes were on this situation or at least all ears that had been within a range of hearing the outburst. Though not before long, they had all gone back to their own business.
"That's quite a unique ability you got there, soldier." Of course, Arctic couldn't have known that he was a part of the PTO or not but given that the mean was at this location, it was the safest assumption to make and if he wasn't, well then surely it would be cleared up in a moments notice and if he were wrong, it would at least open up a window of discussion as to why this individual was here. He surely didn't appear to be any kind of PTO soldier and his abilities weren't typical of the normal races in the PTO, so he'd have to wait and see. Though Arctic did know one thing for sure, was that if he could make use of this individual and his powers, he would.
Now that he had his own faction with his Reaper Daru, he would need to start forming elite squadrons of fighters ready to take on the most difficult challenges that faced him. He had a few hundred grunts at this point but they couldn't be relied on for any of the heavy lifting. It was likely that they couldn't even maintain Namek by themselves if there was a resistance. What Arctic needed within his faction was capable, strong warriors with unique powers to give him the edge on the battlefield.
Arctic was smart and knew what he needed to be successful, the issue was securing these needs and fitting them into his upcoming army. He was well aware that there would need to be a form of mutual benefit in order to secure top tier fighters but that wasn't something he had to be too concerned about. He had wealth and resources, he would just need to divide it appropriately. He couldn't help but think that this was going to turn into a rather long discussion, after all he needed to figure out who this man was above all things and if he could even be recruited and at that point there would be plenty more to figure out.
What exactly was this man doing here or if he was part of the Planet Trade Organization and aside from that, Arctic would also needed to determine this mans values. He would need to know this in order to make an offer to see if he could be recruited. Would he be more than willing to just be an elite soldier or would he want something more? In the long run, Arctic would need planetary supervisors to oversee a planet that he couldn't be on and Daru had already been promised a planet but what happened when he conquered more?
The simple answer to that question is would he'd have to force somebody into a position of power and he knew he was better off giving it to somebody who earned it or wanted it but the issue was, none of his grunts were capable of that type of responsibilities. He needed to begin seeking out the right people now because it wouldn't take much more than a few months before he got started with his conquest. All he was really waiting on was power, and he wasn't far off from reaching new heights.

Kamae pulled his hand up to his face for a better look at the magics he was just using... It was incomplete, he hadn't made anything in eons... He couldn't remember how it worked completely. What a strange occurrence, but one the demon didn't think on to much. Instead an Arcosian, or Changeling as some called them had approached before making passing questions about his ability. The demon simply smiled a charming smile as always, flashing his best first as he adjusted his jacket.
"Aye, but its old and I cannot remember how to use it. I'm beginning to forget things, important things. But that is not what concerns you. What do you want Changeling? No offense but I have been trampled by nothing but ruffians as of late, I am afraid my patience has been stretched thin. If you are here to assault me, then please just leave. I do not wish to fight again. I'm a blind man just wanting a drink. I hope you understand."
Kamae was very tired, his voice portrayed this as he finished his sentence with a sigh of defeat. Taking his seat at the counter, Kamae order another drink only for the tender to deny him after his last outburst. Kamae wanted to object, but simply nodded his head in compliance before looking to the changeling and shrugging.
"Names Loki, I am a demon yes. I work for a benefactor currently who I would rather not cross hence my presence here. Might I ask your name?"
Kamae was a man of intellect, but given his blind nature at the moment he could not determine how strong or even the kind of changeling he was dealing with. Despite this the demon remained calm, knowing that he had revealed a small detail but one that was of major significance. How long had it been sense he had talked to a changeling rather than cut one open? The akshaya vata was able to use the DNA of Changelings for the resilience to adapt to any environment necessary. But that was a long time ago now, and the demon simply sat in silence while he waited for his company to speak. He doubted the man was to interested in an old demons stories, so he would keep his mouth shut for now.

At first, this individual that Arctic had decided to approach gave him a rather charming smile. He didn't seem opposed to having a conversation with a stranger but that was something that very well may have shifted quickly. Arctic had a reputation of turning a bad day into something much worse for somebody when he wasn't able to get his way and that very same scenario was very possible here. Though the man had almost welcomed Arctic to talk with the charming smile, the voice behind had given off another tone completely. His voice had indicated to Arctic that this man had some kind of defeat on his mind, whether it had been physical or mental wasn't something Arctic could identify but it was surely something that was still there and present.
Though there was small talk laid out, Arctic didn't waste much time getting into the purpose of his approach, with Arctic's new faction being created and rivaling the Planet Trade Organization as a whole, he knew that he would need powerful individuals with unique abilities to assit him with his overall goals to conquer the entire universe. This individual had just demonstrated a very unique ability that made Arctic question what else he was capable of. It was something that was certainly worth looking into.
"I must say, it's quite a shame that you've forgotten how to use your little parlor trick. Though it may not be a concern of mine, what I have to say may be a concern of yours."
The way that this was said might've led this Loki to worry about his own well being for a brief period of time, but Arctic was going to make very clear that he wasn't here with the intentions of harming this individual. He would much rather use him and hearing about how he was a demon made this encounter even better. Though Arctic was limited on his information about the demon race, he had Daru at his side for quite a length of time and grew to understand her own unique abilities. She was very talented in a wide range of techniques and methods of diversion. He couldn't help but think that this demon would have similar abilities to hers and maybe, he would even know how to teleport.
"My name is Arctic, I'm the leader and founder of the rising political party called the Galactic Order of Frost. This party is set to rival the Planet Trade Organization and take control of what would be theirs and we wish to lead Planet Frost into a new era. With this being said, I'm actively seeking new individuals with unique skill sets to join me."
Of course, Arctic wasn't going to lay it all out on the table immediately. If this individual was interested, he'd have to ask some questions in order to find out the full extent of this faction. Of course, focusing on bringing Planet Frost back to it's former glory was a large part of it. Arctic wanted to pour in more wealth and resources than every before. Though the issue was, that these resources would come from conquered planets, from the slave worlds that Arctic wanted to spread all the way across the universe. His strength would be the suffering of others, and he'd control anybody who wouldn't be strong enough to resist.
"If I dare be so bold, Loki. It sounds to me as if your current employer is failing you and while I can assure you my discipline is fast and swift to those who fail me. Those who prove themselves to be worthy to the cause are rewarded quite well." It was at this point that Arctic would silence himself and allow for Loki to speak. Plus it might've been beneficial to give Loki a moment of peace in order to think this through quickly.
It wasn't often that Arctic would make an attempt to recruit somebody right on the spot but the simple fact was he needed the numbers and he needed the strength. This individual had seemed rather capable and much stronger than the average soldier both in the Galactic Order and the PTO and the unique traits of a demon were always welcomed.
Daru had proven herself to be the most valuable asset that Arctic had found himself around. Not only was she dependable but her abilities alone made her stand out from the normal soldier on the Planet. If he could gather more like her, he would be well on his way to conquering the universe and taking the saiyan race by surprise. Arctic though that this was the perfect opportunity for this Loki individual, so long as he didn't fail without a valid reason he would be rewarded greatly and maybe even earn his spot decide Daru to be rewarded beyond the rest of the faction.
Arctic knew he was going to need leaders, he was going to need people to maintain conquered planets and run them in the best interest of the Galactic Order. Though to some this might've seemed like terrible work, but Arctic wasn't going to micromanage what went on on his conquer planets. So long as they were providing resources and the slaves were working, there wouldn't be any issue and the individual running the planet would have the benefit of ruling, making his own decisions and being under the protection of the mightiest faction in the universe with the strongest being in the universe at the helm.
All Arctic would have to do now was wait to see where this conversation was going to lead. It was quite possible that it was going to be cut short and end now but he couldn't help but hold out for a little bit of hope. Whether he wanted to admit it, he actually needed an individual such as Loki by his side. Merely for the abilities that former demons had displayed. They were a tactical advantage, in every single situation Arctic could've found himself in.

Kamae watched the Arcosian speak, listening and weighing his words on the tip of his mind. A rebel organization could be a fun little game to play for a bit, stirring up trouble was the best way to provide negative energy. But thoughts for another time, as right now he had an offer he had to consider. Kamae had cut many arcosian open during his time spent masquerading around frost in his original world... at least he believed he did. While he had the knowledge necessary to say the words, he didn't quite remember the actual trip anymore. All of it was growing distant, hazy as if in a deep fog.
Still he had the knowledge for now, he would make due with it. This people were driven, and lethal if given enough time to grow... Kamae leaned to one foot, then leaned to the next as he shifted his weight this way and that. Finally the demon settled his gaze back to Artic with a smile.
"My current employer is as like most of people who have immense power... She seized the moment with flying colors. However she is not one I'd cross, not currently... Perhaps one day we shall come to agreement but for now... I would rather not risk her fury. I will work for you... but know my plans may one day turn us foes. I make deals you see Artic... I am an incredibly old demon and I have found thus...."
Kamae leaned upon the newly constructed bar before snarling his displeasure at how uneven it was now. Placing his hand upon the table once more, he would let his ambient energy coil about his fingertips. The demon letting loose a deep sigh while trying to reconstruct the bar, slowly at first.
"You must have the one thing that keeps you from being a full blown Abomination. Those who cannot uphold their words are as Shite beneath dying sun. Not only can you not trust them to not only betray you for power eventually, but that their every word they speak is a lie. If one or the other is not upheld to a standard, you become a true monster... I fear my employer is such a beast. I say this with... Caution not for my sake or to cover my own arse in this case... You are a business man... A man who is smart enough to understand why I would tell you such a thing before we sealed a deal..."
Kamae did not want to go back against his word, he was a gentlemen first before all things. But... should that monster call on him to sacrifice that which he held sacred or perish in that awful way... He shivered to think which was a worse fate.
"But Let us speak on pleasant things... I am interested in your deal, but I must grow stronger, much much stronger."
Kamae stated running a hand through his hair and pushing it back once more.
"So I will go to namek Artic... There I will nestle into the heart of that world... and when I come out once more. I will be a worthy addition to your forces, but until then... I hope you can forgive me if I remain, er... distant in our working partnership... We all have our ulterior motives after all hehehe."
Kamae chuckled the last bit, his voice seeming to resound off the very fabric of the universe. His energy collecting in his palm as he continued to reconstruct the table. Its very metal seeming to ripple like water despite being a solid object. Slowly the green tendrils of magic lanced out from Kamae's fingers like vapors of smoke that etched themselves through the metal counter all around it. Eventually the counter would groan as if a terrible beast lived within it only to shutter rattle on the spot, drawing more attention to the demon. He did not care, no he was focused on one thing, remembering how to control the very fabric of creation itself. If the shinjin of his old universe, that accursed shinjin who was obsessed with Balance could do it, so could he.
Snarling once more, his magic finally fixed itself. The green tendrils dispersing as the counter finally came to a stop, fully recontructed as if it was brand new, never having ever been touched by anyone. Kamae had recreated the counter by using magic materialization, and the smug look on his face showed his pride in his ability to instantly recall something he used every single day of his life for eons. It was like breathing to him, and he loved it.
"Ahh there we go... I feel much better now that remember how to do that. Hahahaha!"
His voice was like it was everywhere all at once. The demon clearly had caught quite a few stares, yet he didn't care... Not anymore. Subtle when faced with such joy he could not resist but laugh. This universe had many different kinds of materials, he was sure this would come in handy for the future.
"I am Loki, and I think if you can handle that... Then we shall get a little pact going? I will serve you, faithfully following your orders, but so long as my... "employer" does not order it against you. I will obey your words to the letter. I fear my employer holds a card that is so horrific I cannot possible go against her... No details... but trust me... Run from her when you see the monster known as Liari. I had not feared a creature, but she is capable of things I didn't know possible..."
Kamae was unsure how Artic would respond to a deal like that, after all who would accept a loaded gun into their service? Kamae could not accurately predict his new master... nor did he have the courage to fight against her. He would rather simply obey and not be consumed by a monstrous abomination that was known as Liari.

While Arctic had to admit that this discussion with this stranger was rather interesting, there were some points that had more value than others. Both parties had been respectful with the way they carried themselves, they offered each other plenty of time to talk their point without interruption. The nicest part of it though, was that this Loki didn't seem to fear Arctic. It was easily assumed that he hadn't spent a lot of time on this planet. Now that it was Arctic's turn to listen, he did so with all of his attention and gave this individual the basic respect her deserved. Loki had went on to discuss his current employer, it appeared that this individual had greater power than anything he had experience ever before and this had intrigued Arctic. Not only was this useful information but it was something that he could use to prepare himself. If his employer was as strong as he claimed, surely he would cross her path soon enough and with some extra knowledge combined with the power he was seeking, he should have no issue disposing of her. While these facts that Loki was spitting were helpful, they would still need to be proven true. Arctic wasn't going to believe just the mans word but if it were truly the case, there was room to grow here. If Loki was being honest, Arctic would be as well, though the depth of his honesty would be limited, he would scratch the surface.
"While most who have immense power tend to follow the same path, it's more often than not a result of a lack of direction or universal goals. Ultimately, they only desire to benefit themselves directly."
While Arctic was also one who was seeking immense power, he wasn't going to focus on gaining benefits directly. While it was part of his course, the indirect benefits would also be a very heavy role in his future Empire. This would come down to the enslaved planets, the one who fuelled the production and economy of Frost. Managing these would be equally beneficial to Arctic and his as his own power was. While Arctic was self centered and ultimately prioritized his own well being, he wanted to play the part as a universal ruler and this would mean benefiting certain people beneath him and making sure they succeed. While plenty would suffer, selected Planets and races would thrive. This gave him perspective and essentially a balance.
"I do respect your honesty, Loki. Though let me be equally as clear before you commit even a fraction of yourself to my cause. I will understand your case, but you must understand how this is going to operate. Frost and the Planet Trade Organization had made it's millions with planetary conquest and slavery. It should be no surprise to you that my Empire shall do the same, though I intend to expand it all throughout the universe. I want my empire to reach all corners of it with no planet untouched. While most Planets will suffer, there will be those that thrive."
It was at this point Arctic would take a brief pause, his red beading eyes focusing on Loki's.
"Given I shall be expanding far and wide, I will require those who prove themselves to take positions of power and manage those planets under my control a position where somebody like you could mutually benefit. As long as what I require is provided, those who run the planets can do so as they please."
He couldn't help but listen to Loki as he offered the pact officially and had mentioned the name of Liari. Whomever this creature was, she had obviously sent such a shiver down his spine that he was reluctant to live as he pleased. What he didn't know was that Arctic had plans and was chasing devices of such power that not even Liari would be able to stand against his might when he was finished.
"I know that my path will lead me to fight those even more powerful than Liari, It's nature for those to resist slavery and obliteration. I've been chasing a seed of high value, one that provides a fruit which gives incredible power. I have no doubt that if you help me succeed, not only will you be rewarded, but you shall be rid of your former employer. Until you decide to commit yourself fully to my cause, I shall accept this pact."
Of course, every aspect of this was going to benefit Arctic. If he could steal somebody like Loki away from his former employer he'd be one step ahead. Not only would he have somebody capable that he could observe to see if they fit in a leadership position but he might have the insight to help him defeat this Liari. It was mutually beneficially and while they had this pact, Loki could also find himself getting stronger as Arctic wasn't going to be shy about sharing his training technology. While the only thing Arctic knew about was the Tree at this point, Loki would surely be beneficial to those plans too.
It really was all determined on Loki's morals. Whether or not he was familiar with how Frost truly operated would hold some weight here. Most in the universe weren't willing to enslave other planets and benefit off of others suffering but Arctic had a hunch that this individual wasn't quite like most. If his employer was how he said they were, clearly there was a darker side to all of this and at one point or another, Loki had similar alignments with such a terrible being. The only thing that could be done now was wait to make sure that this pact was on the table, even with all the honesty.
Even if this was such a gamble, Arctic was looking forward to the answer. After all, if Loki was to betray him or attempt to deceive him, Arctic would have no issues punishing him with death. Though, Loki was in complete control of that.

Kamae listened to his new boss' words... it felt awful thinking of it like that but unfortunately Derry was outshined in both power and ambition here. Kamae felt his eyes half lid as he betrayed his only friend for more power and statues. Such was the ways of demon kind, as Kamae would one day come for earth with Artic in the charge... He would spare his friend he supposed, but then he might just kill him to spare him the pain. Regardless, a thought for another life time.
Artic's response was that of business, professionalism that could only be gotten from a race dedicated to conquering not just their opponents but to control them. Kamae smiled as he listened to the future emperor speak... his eyes half lidded as he thought of how many kings he had helped in the past with schemes and plots. The previous empress of frost in his old universe was interested in his more... devious inventions. He had a wonder if this future rebellion would use his talents to their full potential... or let it waste away.
"Ahh..."
His word rippled through the room with magic laced within them. He felt good, in his element here as he took this moment in after so many brutish encounters. How many brutes had he beaten into submission only for them to keep prattling on like children. Here was where civilized folk enriched each other with brutal conquest of a different sort. Both in dealings and eventually with force. If he wasn't in public Kamae would have shivered in delight, a tingle of joy racing up his spine.
"Forgive me, such elegant words laced with threats of the future. It has been so long, aye... Let me think upon this. To find a balance we do not regret. I will go to namek, and upon our next meeting I shall greet you as we should be hopefully. As you as my lord and I servant. But for now I must leave. My earlier outburst has garnered me a few... unsavory eyes."
Kamae had not "seen" the man per say, but his vision had been watching people stare at him after his fixing of the counter and fit. He had to get to work for Liari and he had a VAST wealth of knowledge he needed to sort through. Slowly straightening himself up, the demon extended his hand for a shake goodbye and then began to walk to a side of the room that didn't have an exit. Artic may have also noticed the eyes of possible slavers, possible guards seeking to remove him, Kamae could not tell nor did he wish to know. His eyes only saw their delicate workings and could sense his time to leave had come.
As the demon walked through the crowd, adjusting his tie, fiddling with his sleeves and smiling from ear to ear like a snake having just gotten its meal. The broken face of Kamae revealing itself as flesh began to flake away, revealing the demon for what he truly was. As he moved through one crowd, the people watching moving closer but not close enough, the demon blinking into view between the many many different races walking about in droves to enjoy their hedonistic tendencies. The demon took one final inhale, relishing being back in his element once more, and like a viper taking to water, blinking into view and out of view he submerged himself into the fabric of reality. The viper disappearing amongst the crowds as he slide back into the empty void.
The demon having gotten a taste of conquest once more.

For now, it had appeared as if Arctic had a new business partner. Of course there was going to be mutual benefits but the fact of the matter was Arctic was on the side that had the most to gain. After all, if this Loki was to gather any of the Dragon Balls and bring them to Arctic it would be far more beneficial to have wishes that could bring anything you desired to life. Loki would just be provided with resources and wealth if he had done a good job and the scaling of the partnership had seemed to favor Arctic the most. This was a partnership he was willing to risk, even at his current level it wouldn't be much to dispose of Loki if he had desired to betray the cause or go another path. While there had been a risk, Arctic couldn't help but think that it was a risk that had well been worth the reward and these didn't come along often.
Though it wasn't just about the current partnership that Arctic was interested in, for he had been missing something crucial within his new found faction. He had been missing his demon consultant. Daru had been a very valuable individual to Arctic's cause and the foundation of the new faction. She had been intelligent, agile and very deceptive and had her way of sneaking around and getting what she wanted. She was full of knowledge and tactics to get the most up to date intel. With her disappearance, Arctic had been left with an open spot by his side and he needed to fill it soon. It wasn't just all those traits that he required though, Daru was far more than all of that as she possessed traits that only a demon could, even abilities involving teleportation. He needed it back. If this future partnership would work, maybe Loki could fill the role to a degree.
It was at this time that it seemed like their current conversation had concluded and an agreement had been made for the short term. While nothing was set and done for the long term, Arctic couldn't help but hope it would lead to that. He needed support from those whom were talented and powerful, he needed fighters like Loki whom also had an above average IQ, it had been something that had been long missing within most of the ranks. Loki did wish to think about this further, though Arctic couldn't help but assume it was just to plan out the most effective way to make this work. That was a non-issue, thats what he preferred to see from his partnership though it wasn't long after that he had said his farewell.
"I do look forward to our next meeting on the Planet Namek. I'd like to believe that moving forward together will benefit us both greatly. Until we meet again, Loki."
It was at this point that Arctic would watch Loki make his exit and he didn't fail to surprise the changeling. He had managed to just vanish. It was something similar to what he had seen before by Daru but even she didn't match this level of interest. Hers was a normal teleport while this had seemed to be something much more unique. This had only made Arctic much more interested in working with Loki, he wanted these abilities on his side, he wanted such a conjurer to be working with him for the long run. With Arctic's power and abilities such as these, surely, he'd be able to take the entire universe by surprise.
Though now that the meeting was over, there had been other business Arctic had to attend to. With the trip to Namek getting closer and closer he had to make sure that everything was prepared. He may have had people to do the preparations for him but he had to see them through himself and make sure that they had been done right. He wanted to make sure that the supplies had been in the ship and it was fueled up and ready to go. He wanted to do an inventory check on all the necessities and make sure that the troops had been well equipped with armor and scouters.
He knew that while the Namekian race had been exhausted due to their labor, they were likely still going to try to put up a fight. After all, according to his research into the Dragon Balls, they had been the Namekian's most sacred items. It would be a very fair assumption for them to want to try to protect them and keep them out of the hands of evil. It was known on Namek that the Planet Frost hadn't been aligned with good. Frost had it's foot down on the Namekian's neck for far too long and it would only get worse if the Dragon Balls had been gathered. They wouldn't even begin to understand the consequences on the universe if it got this far. With this thought in mind, the troops had to be equipped with the best armor and weapons that they could get. There would be few Namekian warriors strong enough to cut through the ranks but Arctic knew that they'd show up eventually.
With his next goal in mind, Arctic would make his way out of the room and head to his ship to see how the progress was going. He did have some of his top soldiers in charge of preparing it so he had hoped that it was going according to the schedule. For as soon as the ship and the supplies were ready, they could leave for the planet Namek. Who knew how long they'd be there, with any luck this would only take a few days but Arctic couldn't help but demand preparations for a long term stay. With the ship kitted out for a years worth of supplies, they'd accomplish their mission sooner or later and not have to leave for any reason.
