Diskord; an iconic bar that ran for who knew how long in Frost. Besides its impressive cocktails and other alcoholic beverages, its popularity stems from polarizing, powerful figures, or people with a very high enough reputation, making frequent visits to the bar. Other members of the PTO followed suit to either greet and meet these legends or go out on a suicide mission by trying to pick a brawl with them, drunk or sober. Even to this very day, big names still visit and make it their permanent home. While its main factor of its popularity remains the same, the bar has also been used as a setting stone for business outside of PTO related duties by other members. Sometimes, they want things done on the low without the higher ups' suspicions. To simplify it, they want someone else doing their dirty work. Daru was no frequent visitor to Diskord, but heard nothing but praises and plentiful positive comments about the bar. Her interest was piqued and her curiosity for the culture within the bar grew. The culture of Diskord could easily be predicted as soldiers gossiping and talking trash behind other soldiers' backs. To put it short, it was nothing more than a drama fest full of creatures trying to fight for some sort of recognition and respect. With Diskord as the forefront and stepping stone to becoming heard in all of the PTO and Frost, it was no surprise that no names and alike would see the bar as an opportunity to gain more opportunities. Ironically enough, Daru was also someone trying to make a name for herself and gain recognition, but her case was different when it came to attempting to command respect. It was a known fact that Daru was born of slaves, resulting to being seen as a lesser capable individual. All the ridicules, the taunts, the insults, she had to hold back her tongue and grow a thick skin to get to where we was. All the while her position had changed since her little... encounter with her parents, whom were the escaped slaves that met their deaths, Daru still had a long way to prove her worth. It made her wonder... would anyone recognize her if she stepped in? The entrance to Diskord was sleek with doors open for anyone to enter with ease. A couple of steps into the bar, it was lively and boisterous. Drunkard soldiers losing all sense of sense and what seems to be just members bonding. When Daru entered the bar, it took a few seconds as she approached the counter did some soldiers finally noticed the young demon's entrance. Others began to follow suit while their attention transferred from among themselves to the woman herself. More of them turned their attention to her than she expected. Daru proceeded towards a male bartender that stood behind the counter. He shot the woman a friendly smile before setting a tall glass down. "You look like you could use something strong." His deep voice rumbled with a low chuckle. "What can I get you?" He reached for a folder behind him and slid it towards the young demon, a menu with a variety of drinks and beverages to choose from. Daru opened the folder and scanned what was offered alongside pricing. After a few seconds of contemplation, Daru closed the folder and slid it back to the bartender. "Bloody Mary." Daru's answer was short and straight to the point. It felt as if she was a little too strict, given the conflicting atmosphere of what Diskord provided. The bartender was not phased as he took the folder back, still holding his charming grin. "A great choice. It's the perfect drink to settle down and relax with." He said. Daru only gave a blank stare as a response, almost unamused with the bartender's attempt to strike up a small conversation. He bowed his head and rumbled a light chuckle. It was a subtle sign, but she noticed a sense of nervousness in his chuckle, almost as if he had to force it to make things less uncomfortable on his end than it already was. While the bartender turned away to start working on Daru's order, two grunt soldiers approached the young woman. They reeked with alcohol to the point where Daru could just smell someone was behind her. She turned around to face a grunt that looked to be a little shorter than Daru if she were to stand up. A blank expression still on her face, the grunt soldier began to, expectedly, try to berate her. "H-Hey... ain't you that slave daughter bitch?" The grunt slurred his words a couple of times while swaying left and right. Daru only rolled her eyes at the drunken man and turned back around to wait for her order to be done. The grunt growled in frustration as the young woman gave practically no mind to his existence. "Hey! Slave bitch!" This time, his voice grew louder. A regretful attempt to get her attention, he reached his hand out and grabbed one of Daru's wolf ears with a rough pinch Daru winced from the harsh pinch, more eyes now turning on them. Without even another word, the young demon was swift enough to jerk her head back, releasing what could've been a tighter grip on her ear had the man actually focused on strengthening the grip. Daru curled her hand into a fist and slung it forward at the grunt's face. A sickening CRACK! bellowed in the bar as blood immediately splurged right out of his nostrils. He fell back from the brutal impact of the punch his head bouncing off the ground once before he laid there motionlessly. Most of the bar went quiet as they watched the young demon knock out the grunt, while Daru simply turned back in her seat and continued to wait for her order to finish. WC: 987 2X Event

Diskord, though an iconic establishment for some had left others leaving much to be desired. It's standards were high and it only served the best that the PTO had to offer, it's construction was elegant and graceful and it served it's purpose deep in the heart of planet frost to provide soldiers, high level advisors and even the civilians a place to relax and blow off some steam. Arctic on the other hand didn't frequent this place often, it was filled with individuals who had a chip on their shoulder, those who often thought that they deserved much more than what they were worth and it seemed that the alcohol consumption within Diskord had often made it a place for those individuals to try to prove themselves then and there within the crowd. In a few short words, Arctic could only describe the place himself as an establishment for scum, the low lives of the planet without any type of drive to succeed and achieve further things in life. Though this wouldn't stop him from conducting business there from time to time, as the place still had few uses to him that would help him to achieve his goals. It was a simply place to find those willing to do some dirty work to make a quick zeni or those desperate to flee the planet to get out of active duty, it had left multiple pickings for easy manipulation. Luckily for the crowd, that wasn't the Changelings intentions today. Today he was here to meet with an individual with similar interests, one who wanted to make changes to her own life as grand as the ones that Arctic wanted to make to his. Arctic had been in the early stages of his plan and knew that the shift in power that he all so desired wouldn't happen over night. There were many obstacles to go through and his plan would require not only strength but deception as well. It wasn't something easily done in a pair but at least their odds would be much better if they worked together on it. Walking through the bar, the changeling worked his way through the crowds. The chatter within the room was loud as mostly everybody there had been enjoying their time. Unloading their work troubles to their friends, discussing their home lives with those closet to them or simply just getting wasted to blow off steam. All of this contributed to the noisy environment that Arctic found himself to despise. Being only four foot nine in his first form, most of the individuals had towered over him here. Those who knew of him kept their eyes off of him and those who didn't could help but look down upon him in both literal and metaphorical aspects. Those who didn't know him thought his size made him weak but what they didn't know was that it was just a form to contain his true power. While he was approaching the bar the crowd had gone quiet and he was lucky enough to catch the tail end of what had caused the LOUD thud on the floor. It had appeared his dearest friend had decided to prove the the surrounding individuals that she wasn't to be messed with. To Arctic, Daru was a very special individual. She was a small framed girl and it was more than enough to make anybody put their guard down initially. Her beauty was simply unmatched, leaving plenty who gazed upon her stunned and without words. Though her brutality, her cunning, her skills were all beyond even the best fighters. She had been the best individual to have a partnership with for a conquest.
"Ha, ha, ha!"
Arctic laughed rather loudly as his voice broke the silence within the bar and all eyes went on to him. "It appears somebody picked the wrong fight." He changeling would walk over to the knocked out individual and snicker. His right foot raising only to be softly set on the mans chest. "I assume stupidity got you into this mess, now didn't it?" Even if the man couldn't hear his words, Arctic liked hearing himself speak and he wanted to make a point to all those around them not to underestimate himself or Daru. He liked to display this through action instead of words. The changeling would apply the perfect amount of pressure with his foot to break some of the mans ribs. He wanted him to be in rough shape when he woke up, he wanted him to hurt, to suffer for his stupidity. "Let this be a lesson to you all, think twice before acting on ones own stupidity." His red eyes scanned the room briefly as he glanced at all of those paying attention. It was at this moment that he'd finally turn his attention to Daru. He removed his foot off the downed man and would walk over to her gracefully. " Oh how I love watching the results of your talents, You never fail to amuse me my dear." His attention would then shift over to the bartender. "Servant, I shall have a Kold Brew." While the bartender went off to do his thing, Arctic put his attention back onto Daru. Though his tone shifted slightly to a much more serious tone. "I can't wait to see your talents come to light when it really matters." Of course with this, he was referring to the few details that he had known about. He admired her desires and aspirations. She was truly one of a kind. If she was of his own race, she'd even be worthy of being a Queen. It was a shame that wasn't the case but regardless of that, he was excited for what the future would bring to them if they had continued to work together. Surely, the universe wouldn't stand a chance for the wrath to come and the Saiyans? Those foolish monkeys would be the first to face the full might of Arctic and the New PTO.

It was bad enough the grunt was already abashed by his attempt to reproach the young demon and received a simple punch that threw him into unconsciousness. It's gotten worse when someone else decided to approach the inert man on the floor. A fearsome Changeling laid a foot right on the center of the grunt's chest, now the soldier getting a taste of his own medicine of being berated. Thankfully for the grunt's sake, he was unable to hear himself thrown further into humiliation. Alas, the irony of his unconsciousness being his savior crushed when he felt his own ribs getting shattered by the amount of forceful pressure from the Changeling's foot. His eyes instantly flashed right open from the intense pain that surged throughout his body.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!" His blood-curling scream reflected around the bar as he squirmed under the Changeling's foot, now at the mercy of him. He latched both hands around the creature's foot and tried to pull it off, but to no avail, not only was he at an extremely weakened state, but it has also cost him more pain with each movement he desperately tried to reduce it. Relief, though very minor, finally rushed through when the Changeling finally lifted his foot and walked away, but the damage was already done. His ribs were already broken, his nose was brutally bloodied from the young demon's punch, the pulsing pain from the punch still lingered on his face; it just wasn't a good day for the grunt.
The whole bar went quiet after the spectacle concluded, still remaining so while they watched the Changeling approach Daru, who already had her order in her hand. A very rare instance of an enlivened smile crept to her lips in the duration of the Changeling, Arctic, who made sure to rub salt deeper into the grunt's wound. It wasn't so often, if not believed to never happen, that Daru would show any sign of amusement or delight, and when she did, nothing good was going to come out of it if some knew her well enough.
Arctic was a very respected figure in Daru's already tiny social circle. His brutality and unforgiving persona, admittedly, made Daru think twice to even contemplate about double crossing him down the line... though the possibility wouldn't be completely eliminated. She had no reason to do so, but she knew better than to place complete trust in him. He was intelligent, ruthless, and a very feared figure, but was no outsider to the very method of stabbing someone in the back; a very common trait among many soldiers. Either way, to have someone like Arctic in her corner was a blessing and she wasn't going to fumble the opportunity.
"Please. With the show you've put on, I think you've outperformed me." Daru charmed, bringing the glass to her face and taking a delicate sip of her drink. Truth be told, she was genuinely amused of Arctic continuing what Daru started with a delicious cocktail that kept her refreshed from start to finish.
When Arctic's tone gotten grave to any potential talents to be shown in more , Daru nodded in acknowledgement. "Likewise, my friend," Friend. She never thought she would call anyone in the PTO her "friend", or even acquaintance in that matter. It was how much she highly regarded Arctic. "I do think the occasion to showcase our natural aptitudes could be very well soon." She had a little surprise for Arctic; an offer she had a feeling he'd be foolish to reject. It was a little mission she had for herself, saving it for another time after doing days worth of careful planning. With Arctic by her side, the process could be sped up and the results being more natural and successful.
"But first, we need a more close-lipped location. This bar is practically packed, so I'd imagine all of these booths are all taken. Do you think you can free one so we can take over?"

If the sound the grunt soldier wasn't enough to improve upon Arctics day, surely the stroke to his ego from Daru's words were. The Changeling couldn't ever get enough of others praising him, there was just something about it that felt so right. Though if he were to admit honestly, he would without a doubt prefer it coming from an individual begging for mercy in hopes that their waste of a life would be spared. It was the look of fear in their eyes, the fact that their mind would be running through all so many good memories only to be wiped from existence the second that Arctic decided it. That situation would be the ideal one for him, though hearing a small praise from Daru was a very close second indeed. Though, considering their knowledge of each other and the fact that this woman had left a very small, soft spot within Arctic, he wouldn't completely embrace it without of course making one more comment back in regards to the situation. "If that is the case, It's simply because you refuse to reach such heights of brutality in public. I'm quite sure you're more than capable of doing far worse to a man than I."
Of course with this comment, he was also referring to her skills of deception. She was the type to be able to earn an individuals trust so easily to take advantage of the opportunity. Strike them where it hurt most when they least expected it and that was a form of brutality that was perfect. Arctic himself was a master of deception but the woman's small frame and beautiful figure gave her an edge in that department. It was a skill that appearance went a long way to assist and she had been blessed with the gifts to do it nearly effortlessly.
When the bartender had finally brought Arctic his drink he would grip it with a few fingers in his right hand and bring the mug to his lips, slowly taking down the refreshing drink. He listened close to Daru as she spoke, explaining that she too had believed that their showcase would be on display very soon. They each had their own goal in mind, though together they would benefit greatly and be able to reach all their goals but Arctic was all but in his first few steps of his own plan and getting stronger was damn near priority. Along with that, he would need soldiers loyal to him. He was lucky enough to already have a few hundred loyal to his cause who played the part of a regular PTO soldier, but he would need many more if this plan was going to work.
"I do hope you're right about that my dear, the time is nearing but there is still much to do." He replied casually before nodding his head at her request to secure them a more private area to have their talk. He'd slowly make his way over to the furthest back booth that this establishment had and of course there were four very large grunts sitting in it having a few rounds of drinks. The table was even full of empty mugs showing evidence of the drunk that they had been intending on going on. All four of them glared at the changeling, though none of them were willing to make the first word. The demonstration just minutes prior had clearly left its impression on these weak fools and none of them wanted to be next.
"If you even force me to ask, I shall make sure two of you learn the same lesson about stupidity as the last individual." His tone was cold and sharp. He got directly to the point as his eyes glared down towards the table to give them one visual indicator of what it is he wanted and thankfully for the group, they immediately took notice and slid themselves out of the booth.
"O-of course sir!" One of them said as they all moved over to the bar in a massive panic.
"Heh." He couldn't help but chuckle faintly as he stood off to the side of one of the benches and waved his left hand through to tell Daru to take a seat first. Though he was brutal, he was capable of being polite and showing respect to those that had earned it and in this case, she did. Daru was like no other so he would essentially treat her accordingly. She proved her worth time and time again, they just had to flourish together.
He took another quick sip of his drink before getting down to it. "Now where were we?" He paused for a second before getting right back to the main subject. His tone lowered ever so lightly as it was also very serious. "What's left for you to accomplish before you're ready to take the next step? I still need to grow stronger if I'm to take the throne and I'd like to gather a few hundred more soldiers under our lead." Though he didn't essentially need weak grunts in terms of their power, he wanted them for another purpose. He had planned to get to a point of strength that no number of grunts would be able to damage him but he'd rather avoid slaughtering his faction's greatest resource when their resistance to his plans came up. If figured if he had numbers, the casualties would be lower and it may even convince more individuals to fall in underneath his leadership.
Though it may have been a flawed plan, it was the best thing that he could think of when the moment came. It was a lot better than wiping out a good number of soldiers. Of course he would do that without even thinking about it if he was put into the situation. He would just much rather throw their lives at Planet Vegeta instead of taking them himself, especially when new to the leadership role.

Agreeing with the request, Daru watched Arctic lead the way to an occupied booth. Halfway finished with her cocktail, she took one last sip for now then proceeded to slide out of her seat to follow the Changeling. If there was anyone that could make most of these worthless low ranked and unskilled mercenaries and soldiers quiver in their spots, it was Arctic, hence why it was better for him to prove why he held a reputation as being a cunning and ruthless bastard who could tear someone down with just a simple menacing stare that could then transition them to running for their safety, if not their entire life. They both arrived at a booth that was the most remote in the bar. Just as she thought, the two were met with more drunkards. Off topic as it was, but Daru couldn't help but wonder how Lord Aisu would let these dirts that could be scrapped off of even the most untalented soldier relax so easily, let alone get into a state of being heavily under the influence. The Planet Trade Organization was supposed to be a feared faction across the cosmos, one that would spark alarm and despair if even their initials were uttered. All she saw, in front of her and Arctic, were just lucky bastards who would've been better suited as slaves, but even if they were slaves, they would've been executed immediately for being incompetent and providing no value if she were in control. Alas, that was another rant for another day, or another moment if the opportunity came along. Just as she expected, Arctic was able to clear the booth with just his presence. Very impressive. As the grunts fearfully scattered out from the booth, Daru subtly stuck a foot out for a grunt to collide his own foot with hers. The grunt ended up tripping forward and landing straight on his face. The second grunt in front of him whipped around and immediately went to try and pick up his comrade. "C'mon man! Now's not the time to flip flop in front of them!" The grunt whispered in panic. Daru threw her head back and relaxed her throat as she brought the glass to her lips one last time. She proceeded to swallow down her Blood Mary cocktail, finishing it in one chug. She leveled her head back and casually tossed the empty glass behind her. The glass flew high and eventually landed right on top of the comforting grunt's head, instantly shattering into hundreds of pieces and immediately knocking him out. The grunt toppled on top of his already unconscious comrade, prompting the remaining two grunts to go back to their friends and try to drag them away. "Still have more ways to go, I'm afraid. You're more advanced in power than I am, not to mention the natural advantages you have as a Changeling over me as a Demon. Of course, I may have a few tricks up my sleeve from my heritage." Their power difference was as clear as day, and Daru acknowledged it. Arctic had the upper hand as a Changeling, so it came to no shock that she was more than willing to admit that he was superior; she always gave credit where it was due. That didn't mean she didn't have any motivation to try and surpass him. Not to try and overshadow him, but to help stand their ground if they were in combat. Daru couldn't help but to chuckle, a singularity never displayed before in public, at trying to recruit more soldiers under their rule. Funny how things came together, she just thought about that. "If I may, most of these soldiers are far from strong. This bar might not be a representative of the soldiers as a whole, but they do amount to a lot. You're best off doing everything on your own." They were a lost cause to her. A reform needed to happen. They were getting comfortable. Too comfortable, especially when they were supposed to be the faces of one of the most brutal and calculative organizations in the galaxy. Perhaps Arctic had his logical reasonings behind the decision, so she had no desire to try and press him or dare to debate him. "Now then, let's get to what I brought you here for." Daru took a seat and pulled out a cellular device and tapped on a few times on the screen before a picture of a short creature with a rock-like texture appeared. She handed it over to Arctic before she gave some context. "While I'm not sure you're familiar with this creature, but the man you're seeing now is named Hocu. Unofficially, he's a high ranking officer. Officially, he's a petty thief who would've become a slave hadn't he struck a deal with selling out his own planet and its resources to save himself, so he's protected by a couple of stronger soldiers." She explained. "My issue with him is his abuse of power. He sics his little goons on people that rightfully criticize him or speak out against him, so it isn't a surprise he walks around with his head far up his... ahem... arse, knowing he won't face much consequence, and I think it's time for him to learn his lesson." Not that Daru any problems with this man in terms of their interaction, but nothing pissed her off more than a small fool who thought he had some sort of power and even dare to go as far as to abuse it. It was disgusting. And just to make sure Arctic understood what Daru said or what she was trying to hint at, she asked, "Are you following clearly so far?"WC: 956 TWC: 2,606 Hocu:

Though Arctic had seen it more often than not, he still couldn't quite get over the reactions of those around him. He understood the fear, the lack of composure but what he didn't understand is how those around couldn't contain it at all. Self preservation was a very strong and natural defense against large threats but it seemed as if plenty of these fools lacked it. The individual who fell may have very well been intoxicated but at a time where your life was on the line, one should have moved with composure and urgency, avoiding any risk of hindering themselves and keeping themselves in the situation any longer than absolutely necessary. Arctic took a large sip from his drink and shook his head. These men were lucky this establishment was rather packed, otherwise Arctic might have had to demonstrate another lesson to the others about survival.
Then with a swift movement of the wrist a glass was flung and another LOUD thud was made as yet another individual had hit the ground unconscious. The doubt of the strength of the PTO had once again crossed the mind of Arctic. Was it truly the alcohol causing all this weakness or was this just how weak the lower ranks really were? Had it really come to a point where the grunts couldn't even handle a glass? If this was the case, Arctic very well might have to reconstruct the military from the ground up but first, he'd have to prove that this theory was correct.
Aside from the obvious distractions in the room, Arctic had remained focused on Daru throughout a majority of the incidents. Her words were important and their plan would greatly impact the future. It wouldn't just be the future of the PTO but potentially the entire universe. If Vegeta were wiped clean and the Earth was conquered, the PTO would have the strongest foothold in the universe and there would be few left remaining who could actually challenge them. She was intelligent and every word was worth listening too. She had her gifts just as he did his own. There were few he'd listen to like this, but she was one of them. "While it's true that the Changelings have more natural strength than a demon, you've got far more unique abilities than I do. I'd say you're not as far behind as you might think." It may have been rare for him to speak like this but Daru had his respect and given there had been no alternative motives with her, she got the truth.
Though back to the topic of the soldiers, Arctic was going to once again speak his mind to the subject. It was always good to have an intelligent brain around to bounce things off of because sometimes it was possible to be making the wrong choice and you'd never truly know it without an audience. Considering his trust in her, he'd actually take into consideration every word she spoke and assess it to see if her points were more valid than his own. "For the initial plan I wish to do it all on myself but if I have a big enough force when I launch it, maybe their resistance will crumble and fall into my ranks." He couldn't help but take another swig of his drink. "As glorious and entertaining it may be, the soldiers are one of our greatest resources. If I decide to half that number when I take the rule of this faction, I'll be cutting my own forces in half and limiting the outreach I have in the universe."
He believed this was a very valid point. The more soldiers he had, the more planets he could secure in a hurry. He wasn't going to be like the current PTO where they only claimed few, he was going to go for the entire universe and funnel all the wealth and resources to this planet. Though it was time to get to the point and Daru made it crystal clear that she wanted to conduct her own business. He listened as she began to speak and glanced at the picture. Though he didn't recognize the individual, he didn't care. This was a partnership and he'd take her word for this individuals actions and follow through with a plan to deal with him.
"If that's the case, it sounds to me like this Hocu and his soldiers are officially going to be taken care of." Though Arctic could ALMOST respect the fact that he sold off his own planet for self preservation, it was an issue that he'd see through with Daru. He didn't respect cowards, especially those whom were on this planet and mixed into the faction. Those that were like him had brought even further weakness to the once mighty faction, they leeched off the success of the former PTO's labors.
"It's crystal clear my dear but do enlighten me of when you plan to pay him a visit? I've already got the answer to the how." He suspected that Daru had already done her research and devised a plan on how to do it. If they were going to deal with this Hocu person, they would still need to be smart about it. Though Frost was a modern day wild west at times, there was still laws and regulation enforced by Aisu and his chain of command. They couldn't dare be caught, otherwise all of their planning would be for nothing. It was a risk he was more than willing to take and it seemed like it would even be entertaining. Getting into a little brawl and executing them might even be a good form of stress relief.
All he really needed to know now was the basis of the plan and how she intended on doing this without being caught. It would be a good training mission if anything at all and a very good opportunity to improve their teamwork capabilities in the field. He couldn't pass this up if somebody paid him to do it.

The young demon shook her head. "It's not as easy, or, well, simple as you might think." And Daru wished it would've been as simple as she initially advertised it to be. If it were as easy as it sounded, she wouldn't have brought this to Arctic's attention and handle it all on her own instead. No, there was more to this that even surprised Daru. She took a moment to lean over and press more on the screen of her device before a collage of various alien creatures appeared, about six of them. "Remember I mentioned that he has stronger soldiers protecting him? They swear their life to it. I mean it. All six of them, individually, will do whatever they could, to make sure Hocu is in safe hands. I've done some digging around, and their power can be deemed to be... bothersome if we want to rid Hocu." She explained. She started off by tapping on the first image on the collage. "This one's named Dresi; he's one of Hocu's 'main men', if you will. He's always almost by his side and never a moment where he's on his own. I'm not too sure what exactly is special about him to a point where he's needed at every single moment. According to my findings, he isn't necessarily the strongest out of the five, either." Dresi was considered to be a very prideful individual, and it wouldn't be shocking if Hocu fed into his ego to make sure he's well protected, if not improve his performance in protecting him. He was far from being a newbie, as he's been considered to be one of the veteran members. "But, there's a silver lining to this. He's not completely on Hocu's leash as I initially thought. On certain days, he's on duty patrolling the planet, potentially looking out for anything out of the usual in intruders or other unusual activities. The best part? He's all on his own.. That's when we can get the upper hand in confronting him." It was the perfect scenario; jump him when he least expects it. Still, it made her wonder, what the hell would a veteran of all people, someone who had somewhat of a decent standing, be doing with a lowlife scum like Hocu? Daru minimized Dresi's picture and tapped on another one. "This soldier is Sesam. Unlike Dresi, he's fairly new and does not pose too much of a threat. He's a strong man, although he's more of a... pacifist." It was a very odd word of choice to describe him, given the nature of the faction and what it stood for. In fact, she would've never thought she could manage to utter a relation between a soldier and them being pacifist. It was almost a foreign concept... no, it was one. "Or well, for the most part he is. He manages inventory when it comes to overseeing other enslaved planets, Hocu's included, so fighting isn't too much in his resume. Though, that doesn't eliminate the idea of him being strong. I've heard nothing but praises and good things in how he handles himself in combat.... So this one, he may pose a big as a bigger threat." Daru added. She had full confidence that she and/or Arctic can take him down, but, as much as she wouldn't admit it, not enough to say whether or not it could be done with ease. So far, she knew that they can take them down, but there was a bit of uncertainty on her part in terms of how quickly and effectively she and Arctic can defeat them so they can confront Hocu easily. "Overall, currently, their names and general idea of how they perform in combat are all so far nothing but left a mystery. I am more than positive that we can bring them to their knees... but I'd suggest we proceed with caution. This also goes for the other four as well."WC: 662 TWC: 3,268 Dresi: Sesam:

He couldn't help but be rather surprised when she claimed that it wouldn't be nearly as easy or as simple as he thought. Given the current state of the PTO as a whole and their soldiers rather lacking within the ranges of both combat experience and combat power, he couldn't help but doubt that anybody outside of a Changeling would be able to offer him much of a challenge, though he was going to take her word for it. After all, she had no reason to bend the truth here nor lie and if she wanted his assistance, he would need all the details to be as clear as day. He wanted to know exactly what they were going to be up against, the number, the strengths, anything that he could to get an edge in this little situation quickly. After all, he preferred showing his dominance and the best way to do that was superior skill, tactics and power and that came through strength and simple knowledge.
Though he couldn't help but release a small little laugh upon hearing that all six of them would do whatever they could to make sure that this Hocu individual was in safe hands. "HA, What a waste of a life. Their lives shall be spent knowing that their efforts were wasted and they ultimately failed at their insignificant goal." Even with the warning of caution, he couldn't help but believe that this would be a very successful mission. Surely, they couldn't withstand the might of both of them combined could they? He had his doubts.
He couldn't help but listen intentively, learning about each of these guards one at a time as she went through the list. It seemed as if Dresi would most likely be the final one to go. If he's Hocu's main man, he would be there guarding him right until the end. Arctic assumed that he wouldn't budge, even if all the other soldiers had began to fail. This would make him a very easy target to remove off the playing field. "I would assume that this Dresi will be the last to go before the boss, I couldn't imagine him leaving his employer unguarded during an attack. That should at least reduce the number of individuals we face in the primary conflict." Though Daru would immediately follow up with the silver lining and even more information that would benefit their planning.
It sounded as if he wasn't always with Hocu's and there was times where he was off duty and enjoying in the pleasure that the planet had to offer and Daru wanted to hit him then. This plan would absolutely benefit them and Arctic couldn't help but nod his head in agreement. Though Arctic couldn't help but think that one of these guards would stay by Hocu's side until the very end so if they could remove Dresi before it all began, that would essentially eliminate two fighters in the primary conflict leading to the closing of the gap of Hocu. "If I may be so bold, to remove Dresi I recommend a simple distraction and attack procedure. Somewhere with lots of activity where he'll least expect it. If you were to catch his attention with your dashing looks, I can finish him with one single blow."
Removing him without conflict would be the easiest, if they were going to confront him it would either have to be somewhere with nobody around or somewhere active. If they did it in an active location, they could likely get in an out before anybody even realized what was going on, but if they did it somewhere excluded. The fight itself could draw attention to that certain area. Arctic would rather deal with it in a very stealthy, public manner.
She would then go on to discuss Sesam, he was knew and more of a pacifist. Even if he held great power, Arctic had seen these types before. They were unwilling to fight or would only fight when absolutely necessary. This would leave this individuals skills in question. He couldn't help but assume that they wouldn't be sharp or honed in to any degree. He figured that Sesam would be more of a raw fighter, throwing his power around without any type of grace. He couldn't help but immediately write this guy off as a non-threat, even if Daru mentioned he could handle himself in combat. "This one doesn't worry me, raw power within a pacifist tends to lead to unrefined abilities. Surely, he could throw his strength around in a room full of grunts but we are far superior to them. He shall quickly find himself in over his head." Arctic stated before taking another sip of his drink.
Some of this had to do with Arctics superiority complex. He often thought he was naturally better than those around him and while he was often right given the population of the PTO and their average power levels, it was proven to him time and time again. While it was somewhat of an accomplishment to be regarded with that type of power, it was also a flaw in his personality to think he was superior. Eventually, this complex was going to force him to start digging his own grave, though he'd never believe that for a second.
Arctic nodded his head at her last statement. "I am more than confident that together we'll be able to bring this ragtag band of fools down. Regardless of the rumors you've heard about their fighting capabilities, they've never had to fight against me." Surely, his brutality alone would be more than enough to scar these individuals, to leave a nasty image in their minds for the duration of their short lives. He was going to be brutal and IF they managed to put up a fight or even lay a finger on him, he was only going to insure that it was far worse than they could've ever imagined. If they were going to give their lives in efforts to protect this Hocu, he'd make sure they suffered every ounce of pain for getting in their way.

Daru couldn't stop her eyebrow being raised at the suggestion of using her looks to distract Dresi. It wasn't a bad idea, especially since it wouldn't be the first time the young demon used her looks on certain people to get her way. Though it wasn't a frequent occurrence that she used her appearance. "As interesting as it sounds, given that some of these soldiers lack the respect they have for themselves and the naiveness they have, I'm not sure if a man like Dresi would call for something like that. But I'll keep it in mind, just in the case." She said. Dresi was a veteran, and although she may not have had her run ins with him often, she wasn't completely confident that he would fall for Daru's looks. It was an amusing thought as he'd then get taken out from behind, though. Any other grunt? Possibly. Someone like Dresi? Maybe. Maybe not. The young demon felt herself flinch internally from how confident Arctic was in taking these men down so far. She understood why with Arctic's natural prowess and his skills in combat. She never felt uncertain that Arctic could take on anyone in the PTO alongside Daru, but she always humbled herself and knew better than to try and see herself as an unstoppable force. There was always someone out there that could easily take her down, as much as she hated to admit it. Of course she could always get stronger, but the thought always remained in the back of her mind. She did have moments where she thought she was better, but that one instance was out of pure rage from a conspiracy that was revealed to be She could only hope Arctic can also find his humble beginnings like she did. "We're not done just yet. We still have four more to go. The more you're informed about the rest, the more prepared you'll be." Daru leaned over towards the device again and zoomed in on another soldier's picture. "This is Flim. He's... mysterious. There wasn't much about him that I could find that could tell us more about him, unfortunately." She admitted. Flim was the only man on this list that she had trouble finding information on. She didn't even know his duration in the PTO. The only thing that these two could get from him was that he secretly worked for Hocu, just like the rest of the soldiers. His behavior was unknown and his schedule was all but unfailing. It was as if he wasn't a part of the faction. Though, there was some hope in finding him, if Daru would even call it such. "But... I do think there's some small hope in finding him. His routine isn't as consistent, but there is a landmark he likes to spend his leisure time. Cooler's Casino. How often he's there I don't know. We would have to try and catch him whenever we can and hope he shows up. If not, I can handle trying to track him down." It was the least she could do to make this operation go as smooth and effective as it can be to make facing Hocu more convenient and beneficial on her and Arctic's ends. Finishing up with Flim, Daru slid her finger against the screen and brought up the next soldier. " This man is Wasab. He's... to be blunt, a ticking time bomb. That man is energetic and always on the move. If you ask me, he seems a bit unstable and always ready to snap when the opportunity is there. And, if I may add more, he may just snap for the hell of it." Wasab was going to give these two a hard time, the young demon felt. He was a man that lived with nothing to lose or any sort of regret. If he'd fight, he'd give it his all as if it's his last. "Now finding him won't be hard. Like Flim, he loiters around Cooler's Casino. Unlike Flim, he's there everyday in the evening. We just have to weed him out from the public's eye and take him out immediately. He'll be a difficult one to work with... so patience is heavily needed." Daru could already feel herself getting pissed off from trying to even converse Wasab. She may not have met the man, but what was kept in mind was his spontaneous, loud behavior. The PTO had a history of recruiting people that were obvious liabilities to the faction and those that they were surrounded by, so in a way, they were doing a favor for the PTO. Yet, her concerns for Arctic's superiority complex grew the more she introduced the soldiers. "Just a suggestion, I know you're a very strong creature who could probably take almost half of the soldiers to the dirt," There she was, feeding into his ego, but it was the only way to somewhat soften the blow. She didn't want trouble, especially when she was planning to work with the Changeling. "But there's a reason why Hocu picked these soldiers to work for him. I wouldn't start counting defeating them with ease; otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered to want to take down all six of them and head to Hocu himself." She warned. The last thing Daru would want was for her colleague to end up close to the dirt himself. Not that she thought he'd allow it to happen, but that never eliminated the possibility. Given her initial reaction to his concept about distracting Dresi with her looks, he could immediately tell that she wasn't fond of the idea and he couldn't say that he could blame her. If roles were reversed and he was essentially the pretty one, he'd be almost offended if it were implied that was what he was good for. Of course, that wasn't his intention with Daru but just an idea. Sometimes he forgot that this was supposed to be more of an even partnership and his own self arrogance and superiority complex made him struggle to fall into somebody else's plan like this but he would make the attempt for her and there was few he'd do this for. Even under Aisu's orders when there was combat, he was told what to do and Arctic would carry it out the best way he saw fit without any further debates. "I'll say this then, given that this is your plan after all and something you wish to see carried out. I shall just follow your lead and we'll execute it however you seem fit." There wouldn't be many on the planet with this level of respect given out to Arctic but Daru had earned it.
As far as being humbled went, Arctic would truly need to find a challenge to be put in his place. While he was aware that there were those on Frost that could indeed beat him, it wasn't an easy fact to face. It was something he made the effort to avoid thinking about. Though if he were put into a position of defeat, he'd plot and plan to exact his revenge to prove to all that he was indeed better all along and that the first time was all but a fluke. He had the capacity to power up massively and that was always to his advantage. He just needed to put in the work. Though as she continued to speak, it had seemed as if the list of minions this Hocu had was rather impressive, how could one such as him round up so many to simply keep guard. It must have come down to the zeni. Arctic couldn't help but assume that they were paid rather well, it was the only clear explanation that he could come up with.
"Four more yet? This is rather amusing." He mentioned calmly as he continued to listen to her every word. So film, though there was limited data on him at this point in time she did at least have a lead on him. Though the issue that Arctic had here that the amount of time they would potentially spend at the Casino could be a waste if he didn't arrive. It was better off to get a solid lead beforehand and take a different approach but Arctic was going to do his best to refrain from putting in his opinions. Daru was smart, she didn't need him replying to all of her plans with an alternative one or say how it should go, this was her plan and she was more than capable of leading it. "Whatever approach you ultimately think is best, should suffice." Though even when Arctic said this, he couldn't help but think of how fast they could dispose of them if they were all together. Eliminating them all in one shot? Simple.
She swiped through her device and brought up yet another image. Wasab, he looked more normal than the last individual that was for sure. It was one hell of a first impression to see the picture of Film. In fact, Arctic had never ended a creature of his race before and that was soon going to change. It almost brought a glint of excitement to the Changelings face, though he managed to keep that side of him well in reserve for the appropriate moments.
When Daru continued about patience, Arctic knew that would likely be his biggest struggle through all of this. While he had patience for his own grand scheme, it was a lot harder to do when he believed that these individuals would be easy to defeat. Why wait around when he could simply finish them off in an instant? His faith in his own abilities was higher than it should have been and Daru was most likely right about the situation, but it was hard for Arctic to accept. Regardless, he would find a way. He was also blunt, and a ticking time bomb. The Changeling couldn't help but think that could be used as an advantage if he played his cards right, but for now he still listened to Daru.
She vocalized her concerns for him loud and clear, while maintaining enough praise in his abilities for him not to deem it offensive. It was like she had known him all to well. Though in response to this, he wouldn't break or show any type of concern in regards to the situation. He was still overconfident regardless and believe firmly that he would have no issues handling this situation. After all, he still had multiple forms to take if he absolutely needed too. His power was well hidden, even from her. "It could be possible that Hocu hired these individuals because they are cheap, though no matter the reason. I'm confident that they will all fall but as I mentioned earlier, this is your plan my dear and I'm most happy to execute this the way you seem fit."
Arctic knew that they'd all be in the dirt one way or another but now it was up to Daru's leadership abilities. They'd strike however she deemed good enough and go from there. It would also lighten any true concern that she had for her dear friend and that would be beneficial to the both of them as well. One less thing to worry about certainly would make it easier on the mind and much easier to plan for. Arctic was just eager to get his hands dirty at this point and have a bit of playful fun.

As Arctic placed his trust in the young demon's plan, Daru gave him a confident nod. "I will do everything in my power that this plan will go as smoothly as it could. And I also have full trust that you will do the same." It was rare for Arctic to stay back and let Daru take the wheel; usually she would let him lead since, admittedly, he was more insightful than her. Not that she was putting herself down and didn't believe that she wasn't on Arctic's level. They both had different talents and skills that were complementary to each other. Now that it was on her, Daru was more than determined to make sure their plan goes as smoothly as it will. She had confidence in herself along with her and Arctic's abilities. There were just two more soldiers to go through, then that'd be all six soldiers identified secretly working for Hocu. Another swipe across the screen was and another figure appeared on the screen. "Mani. She's also a veteran of the faction, but she's anything but responsible. As a matter of fact... I'm not too sure why she's even working for him. From what I gathered and even heard, she's not exactly someone who's equipped for the battlefield compared to the other five." She said. That wasn't to say she was a pacifist like Sesam or remotely friendly, but she seemed to be very aloof like Flim. It was a confusing encounter, and even when she did her research on what Mani said, it still didn't tell her why she was with the short alien. "She works with inventory, specifically with weapons and other gadgets the faction uses... which again, is a little confusing, considering the majority of us rely more on our ki and other offensive abilities that come from it. And I highly doubt any of the other soldiers Hocu hired use them either. In addition, I don't think Hocu himself may use these weapons." Which, now that she thought about it, might be the reason why she was hired. Maybe not for the weapons, but perhaps the gadgets that potentially offered him value. It didn't matter in the end, but something still felt off about her. She just couldn't pinpoint it. "Finding her won't be difficult. She's usually around one of the warehouses in the Imperial Divisions. I wouldn't put my guard down around her. She may not have the experience like we do on the battlefield in terms of physicality and energy, but it doesn't take much to learn how to fire a ranged weapon or wave around a sharp object." The warehouse would be Mani's arsenal. Sure she may not seem like a fighter, but it was wise to not judge a book by its cover. "And last but not least..." She paused to swipe at the screen one last time. "Hillo. He's a colorful one, a rare sight within the organization. He's a more bubbly and vibrant soldier, but from what I've gathered he's decently capable of handling himself in combat, so I wouldn't get too comfortable when encountering him." His appearance and personality were practically polar opposites of each other, but he still posed a threat. If she were honest, she was a bit lost on the reasoning for hiring Hillo. He might have been someone who's always combat ready, but compared to the rest of the soldiers asides from Mani, he wasn't the smoothest fighter. If she had to describe Hillo in one sentence, it would be he was a watered down version of Wasab. "But like Mani, he also works in one of the faction's warehouses. It could be possible that they work together, so it'll be easier to track them down and take them both out at the same time." She explained. Either that, or he could potentially be around the same area as Mani in one of the warehouses, so regardless finding them wouldn't be much of a hard task. Daru finally took back her cellular device and shoved it back in her pocket. All six of Hocu's little minions were revealed, some could be deemed as a large threat whereas others, well, not so much of a worry. Who she was really curious about out of the entire group was Hocu himself. She wasn't positive on his true strength; was he someone that could be easy to deal with or a creature that could give both her and Arctic a run for their money? For the time being, her focus needed to rely more on the six soldiers. "Alright, that's all six of them. As it was aforementioned, if we take them all out, it would be easier to get to Hocu without interference. His true power level is left up in the air, but we'll worry about him when we get to him." She said. "It'll be in our best interest to hunt them down together, just so we can be prepared for whatever trick they have up their sleeves." Daru suggested. Some of them may be weak, but the young demon knew better than to think that she could overpower them, no matter how confident she felt that she could win over them. "That said, we need to watch out for any potential signals they could have to warn others. For all we know, they might have devices to communicate with each other, with Hocu included. We may need to make sure any sort of communication is axed out." She said. Now, it was time to figure out who they could take out first out of the six. Previously mentioned, some were trickier to deal with than others. Daru had to choose wisely. "Our first targets will be Mani and Hillo. They're more than likely to be in the same area so we can take out two birds with one stone. Then we can work our way up to the likes of Sesam... and Flim. Though, I'll be honest, the order can switch up. For now, our focus will be on the warehouse soldiers. Effective immediately." She said. Admittedly, they were somewhat weak, so naturally the young demon targeted them first. That didn't conclude them being easily won over, however; just a mere observation. Finally, Daru stood up and dusted her skirt before she curled a strand of hair behind her ear. The young demon had complete faith that the two would win their battles and endure the trials, yet she still couldn't help herself wondering how difficult this could get, even if they were about to deal with one of the "weaker" soldiers? Though Arctic wasn't shy about the fact that he would lie in order to benefit himself, he couldn't recall a time where he ever broke his word to Daru or even thought of letting her down. When it came to her, he'd follow through. They both had very much to gain from one another and it would be a shame to waste her potential by breaking her trust. Why make an enemy out of her when he could keep her as an ally. Keeping her on the same side as him was the smartest move here, she had been too much of a valuable asset to think of anything else. Though, he couldn't tell what their long term goals would bring them he had hoped that they would maintain this balance and understanding between one another. After all, he couldn't imagine ruling the universe with the help of anybody else and of course, she would be rewarded greatly if he was crowned universal emperor. She could have her own planets, soldiers, fleets, anything she so desired as long as she didn't oppose him.
"When Have I ever let you down my dear? You know very well that my word means something when given to you." For somebody such as Arctic to treat somebody so differently was very unique and those on the outside might very well view this behaviour as a romantic gesture but it was far from that. It was very rare to find somebody with her strengths and abilities and he respected her for it, she had proven herself time and time again in the past and failure didn't find her very often. She had never let him down or disappointed him and that alone earned this level of respect.
Though, it was time to focus once more as she did say there was a total of six soldiers that they would need to take down. That left two more. Surely, they couldn't be much more different than the rest and if they were, who were these guys? The range between them head already been vast, each of them their unique strengths and weaknesses. It almost seemed like in the grand scheme of things, it might actually matter. After all of Arctic's thoughts, maybe these individuals were a special fighting force of some kind, though where Hocu would've scraped them up would've been another question entirely. It was rare to find real talent and power within the ranks of the PTO. Most of the fighters there were just worthless grunts that spent the air Arctic was trying to breathe.
Daru would then go on to discuss mani and averted feeding into Arctic's thought. This Mani woman had seemed like the average PTO soldier. Lacking in responsibilities and not equipped for battle. It currently sounded like she was going to be the easiest one of the group to take out. Though he wasn't asking for it, it appeared that she may be the weakest link in the chain and one of the ones they should remove first. Remove the weak ones first, reduce their numbers but of course that would only make sense if they so happened to find themselves in a situation where it was two of them against them all. Though it was possible if they didn't do this carefully, Daru's planned seem solidified to prevent such a disaster. Regardless, Arctic was prepared to face this whoever it went and was confident that they'd come out on top.
"Inventory and stock with little combat experience? She surely sounds like a veteran of the faction and as useless as the rest of them." Of course, he couldn't help but compare her to all the grunts around her. Absolutely useless aside for their ability to throw themselves at an enemy and sacrifice their own lives again and again until their goal was reached. Though it seemed as if she may be their supplier on weapons and equipment, though most PTO equipment was outdated there were few sets of armour and weapons that were quite superior. If they had their hands on these, it would increase the difficulty. Though not enough to be a major concern.
Then it came to the finale of the bunch. Now Arctic couldn't help but wonder if Daru left the grand theatrics for least. Would this mystery warrior be the highlight of the bunch, the elite? The leader of the squadron of Hocu's finest or would they just be another dud in the water, a waste of space, a useless PTO veteran. Arctic was rather curious to find out. He took great interest in this, he got to learn who's lives he'd be ending early. Usually, he just ended them when they met without former knowledge but this? This brought a little bit of joy to his system, a thrill even if he were so bold.
He listened carefully once more. Hillo. He was surely colourful and a unique species to the PTO faction with rumoured fighting capabilities. He may have been the biggest threat of the bunch but that was yet to be seen. Interesting. IF this individual wouldn't dazzle with his fighting style, he sure did on his appearance alone. It would be a shame if he were the last one of his race, because Arctic would insure extinction if that were the case. It also turned out, that he was one of the ones to work in the warehouse with many. In that case, take out Mani first and then take on Hillo. Reduce their numbers and focus ones effort on the stronger one without divided attention. "Hocu has quite the crew, I'll give him that." He stated casually as she slid her device away.
That still did leave Hocu's power level in question but if somebody were a capable fighter, one would think they wouldn't require so many guards but then again, money had a way of twisting ones mind and making them rely on others for protection. Daru would want to hunt them down together which would have been precisely the best way to approach it. IF the two of them managed to catch one of the unsuspecting off guard, they would easily eliminate them without much hassle. Even if these fighters were above average, they wouldn't stand a chance alone against the combined might of Daru and Arctic. "I do agree, together will almost certainly secure victory."
She had then laid out her plans in full on targets and which ones she wanted to remove first with the warning of caution that they'd have devices to communicate with one another. This could surely lead to be something quite interesting. Would their plan go according too or would they be be in a fight for their lives against all of them. Only time would tell. Daru would then make her exit and Arctic would get up along with her. "Until next time, my dear." and with that, the Changeling warrior would make his exit.
