To say the last few days that Tanya hadn't been herself would be an understatement. She had been going through an emotional change of how she normally handled things with the ladies and it was really getting on her nerves. She used to just find someone, quick hook up and move on but, lately its been harder and harder to do that and that was being nice. This was the first time she was flying towards Mount Pozu to just well be alone due to what had just happened last night as she was trying to get back to normal.
She had decided that she was going to swing by Amanda's, a human she had met and hooked up with a while back for their usual fling. However, her heart was in other places. As much as she tried to just go back to how things were, her heart was craving something more...permeant. She had been trying to hide wanting this for the longest time because damn it, she was a full blooded Sayian. The likelyness of her dying in battle was very high and the last thing she wanted to do was leave someone after she had died, crying.
Yet, her heart kept craving that companionship, no mater how much she pushed it away, it kept coming back to her. She tried to pull it away with this last hook up with Amanda but, it didn't work. She slowly landed near a body of water and sat down with a sigh. She didn't ever think this would be something she wanted. Things were so much easier before. When did things start to change? Was it during the time when she flew around Earth during the month of Febuary? When was it. All she knew is right now, this out right sucked.
"Things were so much easier before..." Tanya muttered to herself as she shook her head looking out into the ocean trying to just forget about everything that was going on with her right now. She knew she couldn't forget it forever but, maybe, just maybe for a little bit she could act like things were okay.

Opherla was near Mount Paozu after meeting with another old friend of hers, Athren. Getting herself back into the swing of fighting felt GOOD! Reaaaal good! And now, her Saiyan spirit was flaring! It was time to go and find someone else to fight with! She started around the area she was in, knowing for sure she wasn't the only one who could be here. This was the home of the Z Fighter base after all!
And lo and behold, her prayers were answered! She felt the familiar presence of her old battle sister, her BFF, her friend till the end!
"Tanya's here! Good, I can see how well she's improved since we last-!" Opherla exclaimed as she dashed to Tanya's location, excited to see her friend again, excited to see her battle sister, excited to get into a scrap with her again! Excited-!
But wait... as she approached Tanya's location, as she got closer... she noticed something... off about Tanya. Depressed? ...Could very well be. Regardless, as the Lycan Saiyan hybrid approached Tanya, her excitement turned to a deep concern for her friend. Her enthusiasm was now replaced with a solemn expression as she slowly landed, her footsteps slow and nearly silent as she approached Tanya.
"Hey, Tanya!" Opherla called, putting on her best genuine jovial tone. "How's it going, pal? You keeping up on your training? You getting stronger? Ehe... eh..." Opherla chuckled nervously before shaking her head. "Alright. Enough is enough. What's up, Tanya. Normally, you're a lot more bright and enthusiastic than this. You're a lot more energetic than this... something isn't right with you... you just..." Opherla took a deep breath before speaking sheer reality.
"You aren't yourself."

When Tanya heard Ophelia speak she listened to everything she said about how she seemed different and then spoke the harsh truth of the mater, she wasn't herself as she leaned back. "That obvious huh?" She asked shaking her head, she wasn't even mad at her friend, had someone not picked up on it, she would've been concerned. Even more so had her close friends like Ophelia hadn't picked up on it as she smiled and shook her head again leaning forward and began to speak, she knew if she could trust anyone in this world she could talk to, it was her.
"Well you aren't wrong somethings going on with me Ophelia. I just got back from Amanda's place, you know me Im normally just the hook up type of gal what us being Sayians and all. Anyways we did our usual ahem stuff and all that but, it wasn't the same tonight. Its almost like my heart its..its wanting more then just a hook up and all." Tanya stated trying to explain the situation to her friend the best way she knew how right now, it really was getting under her and she wished she could figure out why she was like this.
"Am I sick or something?" She questioned wanting to know what the hell was going on with her. She didn't like this. Life was so much easier for her when she still could just do the hook ups and move on because, well they were Sayians. The chances of them dieing in battle were high. Yet, now here she was trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with her. No mater how you looked at it. Something was wrong with her. At least, by Sayian standards they were, she just didn't know what and she wanted to know

Opherla pretty much knew what was going on with dear ol' Tanya. There was absolutely no mistaking it. Opherla had heard about Tanya's "fling" business, and to be frank it sounded fun. Friends with benefits wasn't a bad thing in Opherla's eyes, but given the new condition of her friend Tanya... well, it seemed like while that lifestyle was fine for most... it wasn't gonna cut out for Tanya anymore. Opherla sighed as she smiled a bit and sat next to her best friend and best sparring partner.
"Listen Tanya, you're not sick." Opherla explained with a soft smile. "As a matter of fact I think I happen to know exactly what the diagnosis is for your currently troubled heart. Brace yourself though, this might come to a big shock to you, my sister in arms." Opherla teased a bit and built up the drama. She had to have A LITTLE fun with this, right? Right? So have fun with it she would as she soon turned around, building up more drama. "As your best friend and training partner, my diagnosis for your heart iiiiis..." Opherla would say before suddenly turning around for the big reveal!

She blinked as she watched her freind do the whole dramatic reveal, her lip twitched as she tried to hold it in but she couldn't help but let out a giggle that turned into a full blown laugh. "Okay, Okay I needed that." She stated with a small smile, she knew her friend well enough to know that she would always do something to cheer people up and boy had she just done that with her as she shook her head. She couldn't even be mad at her friend at all as she shook her head one more time before speaking.
Tanya laid back on the grass hoping her friend would join next to her before she spoke. "I guess, I guess your right..I always thought until the day I died in battle I would just be hoping from lover to lover, not really putting any heart breaks on anyone for the day I died in combat, but, I guess my heart had other ideas, huh? It feels weird but, its not like I'm mad or anything I guess, just confused why it chose now to do this." She stated shaking her head trying to make sense of this entire situation but, glad she had someone she could get this offer her chest with.

Opherla laid next to Tanya on the grass, smiling at the fact she at least got to see her classic smile again. With the break Opherla had taken up in space to fully get her mind off South City, she hadn't expected Tanya to hit this sort of low. It made Opherla feel a little guilty she left her best friend hanging like that. But nothing like some quality time with her to help with that! And what better way for the duo to spend time than...
"Listen, Tanya. I've been just a liiittle rusty as of late after a massively long break I took. Longer than I wanted it to be. Soooo..." Opherla would say, looking over to Tanya with a smile. "How about you get those feelings kicked to the curb a bit with a good ol' fashion spar? You and me, one on one, just like how we first met." Opherla offered with a bright smile to Tanya. She wasn't certain if Tanya would accept or not, but how could she not? She was a Saiyan, Ophy was part Saiyan, the duo practically jumped head first when the idea of sparring came to their brains!
Opherla just hoped it would ignite that spark she always saw in Tanya before, a spark of inspiration to kick those feelings away and start feeling like a Saiyan again! Sure, Opherla would help Tanya find out who her true love was, eventually, as best friends do for one another. But right now, she needed Tanya back. Because she needed to get back on a proper training regiment. Athren helped her out some but... not nearly enough. It was gonna take a lot more people to get this Lycan Saiyan back in tip top shape.... or at least a lot of fighting!

Tanya let out a smirk when she heard what her friend wanted as she jumped up with the old Sayian blood pumping like a mother because, yeah she was falling in love but, you know what? A fight was a fight damn it and that's how Sayians bonded it was simple as that as she looked at her friend stretching her arm a little bit with a chuckle. She was ready, willing and able to do this fight all over again. It had been a while since they fought, Tanya had been MIA with her for a bit so this was a good warm up.
"Thought you'd never ask." She said jumping back and got in fighting stance with a small grin. She was wondering what kind of improvements her BFF in fighting had made because god knows Tanya had improved a lot since the last time the two of them had fought and she had hoped her friend did the same thing because if not, well Tanya may have to go drill sargent on her to make sure that all changed because right now, All Tanya wanted to do was get her mind off what was going on on. she just wanted to fight.
"Bring it!" Tanya taunted with her hand willing to give her friend the first move because well, she was just feeling nice right now and wanted to see what she was capable of after all, they were Sayians their goal was to become the strongest fighters in the Univurse. What better way then to fight other Sayians right? At least that was how Tanya felt anyways and if this was what awaited her for today's fight with how easily her friend was able to cheer her up, well then it was all going to be well worth it in the end.

Opherla smiled widely as Tanya got into her fighting stance. Opherla felt her Saiyan blood racing. Yeah, Tanya was still a bit stronger than she was. But it was a manageable difference in power. Opherla was going to make sure Tanya knew in full she wasn't slacking off!
And the first step to doing that: Making Tanya the next victim of one of her newest moves. Opherla roared as she charged up, soon stretching her hands back. She would then fire ki at Tanya, her ki blasts going in a shotgun like spread as some of the blasts hit Tanya, while other blasts missed her, intentionally. Opherla did this for a little bit before she then rushed at Tanya just as her vision cleared from the smoke, pelting her with ki enhanced claw strikes, as Opherla leapt back!
"Taste my newest attack! WOLFFIRE RAZE!!!!" Opherla yelled as she slashed Tanya once again, landing on the other side of her and the Hellzone Grenade setup, before the ki blasts collided into Tanya in one big explosion!
Now while Opherla knew this would deal a major amount of damage given the slight power difference between her and Tanya, she had to be ready, because Tanya wouldn't be done just at that. Opherla took her defensive stance, waiting for Tanya's counter attack. She was eager for it though. This was LONG overdue between her and Tanya both, and it was about time the two had a nice, decent, LONG scrap!

Tanya couldn't help but smirk to herself with every strike she was having to block especially that new one that took everything she had just to block it as she kept her arms up on the defensive stance to make sure she didn't take to much damage. No point in ending it too soon after all right? Nope, she refused to end it to soon was the more likely outcome but, be that as it may she had to keep things on the up and up to avoid such trouble being cause as she wondered just what kind of fight awaited her.
As the smoke was clearling using it to her advantage, Tanya zoomed in for a punch right to where she was blocking but, right at the very last second she quickly switched it on her friend looking for a round house kick to send her flying after all what good was a Sayian who didn't keep their opponents on their toes right? Tanya was one Sayian who did just that, especially with how close she was to finally being able to achieve the Legendary Super Sayian form and she knew she was right there, she had to be, she HAD to be.
If the round house kick worked. Tanya would let out a smirk and grin, but she wouldn't let up either because should the round house kick work she would zoom in and get ready to strike her in another flurry of blows towards her friend. This was going to be well worth it.
