PL: 169,132 Time: 9:30 PM Location: Tropical Islands "Transform." Upon landing on the Tropical Islands, A-1 had activated the Reaper Protocol built within him and was now completely covered in its armor. With energy undetectable by other Ki Users, this was a great disguise. Based on additional information from the government of Earth, they managed to narrow the blue majin’s location down to one of these islands. With how infamous she became after her multiple attacks on the city, he couldn’t say he blamed her for running off to a place like this. After all, it’s not like she had many options for a hiding place. A-1 was sure his target was here, as her energy definitely matched the rumors surrounding her. She was definitely strong, he could see how the USD was no match for a force like that. All the more reason for him to take control of it one day. With his input, none of this would have happened. Typical humans. In any case, it was time to get to work. A-1 made sure to be stealthy as he made his way to Liari’s location. He was usually much more loud and brutal in his methods, but this time he wasn’t sure what he was getting into. Usually, his targets were humans with little to no training. This time it was that of a different species and he had no idea what kind of abilities they had in comparison to humans. From the rumors, apparently, she could turn into a giant monkey-like creature, similar to that of the saiyans. That was strange to him considering her species seemed to have little in relation to monkeys at all. At least the saiyans had tails. He moved through the island as silently as he could, eventually stumbling upon what looked like a house up ahead. Knowing the darkness would mask his approach, he’d slowly float up to the side of the small domicile and crouched under a window. He’d poke his head out, looking in to see what he’d find. WC: 348

PL: 239,763
It had been the longest day of Liari's life, getting used to the gravity machine, meeting her daughter again for the first time in what felt like forever, and introducing Moire to her new life as a parent. This whole day, while full of fun, happiness and understanding... was also one that drained Liari more than any fight. So much anxiety, frustration, and worry all released at once, so much pressure unleashed in such a short time. Liari wasn't exactly a pessimist, but she wasn't fully an idiot either. She understood how easy it was for something like this to go wrong, for the machine to fail, for Terra to be resentful of her absence, for Moire to resist the full extent of what it meant to be her partner...
...And yet, everything went swimmingly... for now. As the sun fell low, then behind the horizon, Liari and Terra eagerly retired to bed, the little pink girl following her mother into her room... and Liari wouldn't have had it any other way. With Terra back in her life, she never wanted to have her daughter out of her sight again... at least, for as long as she could help it! Even at home, where things were (probably) as safe as they could be, feeling separated from the sweetest thing in her life again was a nightmare she never wanted to experience again. And so, as night fell, Liari would cradle her daughter against her chest hugging her close as she did the same, the two majin clinging to each other so tightly, it was as if they feared someone would come along and pull them apart again. The house would be Moire's alone to roam it if she wished, perhaps to nab a late-night snack or to catch up on reading. Just as likely, she could retire alongside her partner as well. The night was hers to explore.
As Liari fell asleep, for the first time in as long as she could remember, no nightmares haunted her. The images of planets exploding, of skies splitting open, of the ground erupting in it's scalding orange blood... all fell silent this night. She felt... whole, almost, as if every part of her was here at last, as if there was nothing left in her lift she needed to fear... She had everything, didn't she...? A daughter she loved, a woman she treasured, a house and a family on a planet that... wasn't too bad, most days... For the first time, Liari felt as if the poison that had been brewing in her heart was starting to ebb away, purify into true happiness...
At last, she thought, cradling her daughter. At last... things were as they should be.

PL: 73,942 (Reduced to 18,485) | Items: Super Weighted Clothing (+75% pl gain) | WC: 418 The house has fallen quiet, and both Liari and Terra were fast asleep in the bed. Moire, however, was quite the opposite, being up and active at the moment, though not for anything trivial like snacking or the likes. No, ever since that fateful day when she completed her training, she's had a bit of a new outlook on life, and needed plenty of time to think, think about what to do with her power, think about how to achieve her new goal. Moire was looking straight out of the living room window, away from the other two majins as she gazes at the vast ocean that continued to move in front of her, her face giving little insight as to what was going through her mind. She was very much buried in her own thoughts, planning and plotting what to do. Knowing that those like Athren and Ayu, people who could stop Liari, were still around on Earth, perhaps this planet wouldn't be the first...
No, she needn't rush any plans. Nobody knows what she's thinking about, and so they have no reason to suspect her of anything malicious, at least, not yet. She has all the time in the world, and she needs to take great care with how her plans unfold. All the majin needs is the time and patience to see it fulfilled, not to mention more power. Liari's training and her support were certainly quite beneficial to Moire's own growth, but even she can't bring her up to her full potential. She knows that there's more power that lies deep within her, and even something like training isn't going to be enough to bring out her strength. Rather, it was about time that she finally satiate her hunger, her desire to take someone else's power for herself. After all, she's bound to make better use of their strength.
Moire cracks a wicked smile as she ponders on potential targets, debating on which ones were just right for her to take. Some like the aforementioned Athren were far too powerful for her to take from, and others like Amaranth were far too pitifully weak to gain any significant boost from. No, she needed someone who trusts her and someone who was just within her own power range, and she might know just the person to do so... Perhaps it'll soon be time for her to pay Tanya a visit.

Three of them?
Peeking through the window, A-1 wasn’t aware that Earth’s Number 1 threat had company. She had acted entirely alone during her attacks on the various cities throughout the planet this whole time, had she gathered support to make a sequel? If that was the case, he might have a lot more on his plate than he originally attended. From where he was, he could only see his target cradling a smaller, younger member of her species. There was a third energy signature roaming about, but he couldn’t see them in the room
A-1 had to remind himself to stay focused on what he was originally here to do. Part of him wanted to ice all three of them, but he didn’t have all the variables yet. Were there more of them? Who was this child? Was the third person he sensed also a Majin? Or someone else? He didn’t know too much about the Majin’s abilities either. He might make a mess of things if he went off the rails. It was best to stick with the plan. At the most, he’d have capturing the little one as a side quest. Right now, he’d just a put a hole in Liari’s head and be done with it.
He’d lift up his index finger and pressed it against the window. Aiming at his sleeping target, he’d launch his attack. As the sound of glass shattering could be heard throughout the home, a thin energy beam would be launched right towards Liari’s forehead. After this, he’d immediately duck back under the window where he’d maintain focus on her energy to make sure she was truly dead.

Liari, in her rest, dreamed of the days ahead, happy weeks and months of her daughter and her girlfriend (maybe wife in the future...?) living out their days forever until Liari's actions bled away into history. She could just see it... feel the peace, the comfort inside, the warmth of her family holding her close... And it WAS her family now, wasn't it...? She had built it all from scratch, these relationships and now, they would be with her forever. The majin sighed gently as Terra nuzzled up under her chin, Liari's arms wrapping tightly around her daughter. At long last, they were together again... Liari had never known such peace. She had been so worried about what Terra would have thought of her after being gone for so long, if a bad word or two had sent her little girl into a dark spiral of HATING her, hearing about it all from someone else before she, herself could tell her. It was more than she could have hoped for when her daughter practically tackled her off her feet, crying and hugging her with a LOT more strength than Liari remembered her having! She was so happy to see her... It had brought tears to her eyes...
...That was when Liari was certain... She wanted to do better for her little one. Once this hate died down around her either from her own hand or by that of time, Liari would make her way out to make Earth better. Her sweet little Terra deserved to grow up in a world that loved her, that opened its arms for her... She need not suffer any of the pains Liari had growing up, feel the pull of chaos and frustration at the edges of her thoughts! Terra was pure... and she was sweet. That was what the world should foster and protect in people... She-
...Suddenly, Liari's subconscious musings SHUDDERED to a burning halt as a beam BLASTED through her window, ZIPPING into Liari's skull and SPLATTERING her head from her neck-up across the backboard of the room! The sound of the blast had SNAPPED the little pink majin awake, her eyes shooting up to see the grisly, horrible sight... Her scream RACED through the house like a wailing ghost, shaking the very building with it's sound, filling any and all pockets of air with fear and despair!
"MOMMMMMMAAAAAAAA!" Terra cried, her sanguine eyes wide with terror, reaching out towards what remained of Liari's face, trying desperately to scoop the remains back into place! "MOMMA! YOUR... HEEEEEEEAAAAAD! MOM-"
...Suddenly, Liari's body would SNAP up, her burning, bubbling stump and the surrounding scattered flesh reforming and coagulating at the sight of the wound! A new head quickly reformed in the place of its obliterated predecessor, it's an expression... one of sheer, burning RAGE! Liari's lips curled into a BLISTERING snarl, her eyes burning so hot a shade of red, they could return fire from the assassin that shot through her window, her aura starting to blaze fiercely enough that it BLUE the covers right off their legs!
"M...Momma...?" Terra whispered, her eyes still wide, her heart pounding so hard, Liari could hear it from where she sat.
"Terra. Go find Moire." Liari growled, steam beginning to FUME out of the holes lining her arms. "...Tell her what happened. She will take care of you."
"But Mommaaaaaaaa..." Terra whined, wrapping her arms around Liari's and hugging it to her chest! "No gooooooo! You get hurt again!" Liari, for a minute, froze. She looked down at her daughter, tears rolling down her cheeks, her eyes wider than dinnerplates... She was so scared... her little girl was terrified... and not for herself... Liari's heart melted for only the tiniest of seconds, pulling her daughter up onto her lap and kissing her forehead softly. She hugged her daughter to her chest, squeezed her gently... then let go.
"Do as momma tells you, Terra... I'll take care of this... Okay?"
"O-okay..." Terra sniffed... before rushing out of the room. Liari's snarl returned with a vengeance the moment her daughter was out of sight, her body shifting and contorting to a shape like that of a rubbery snake, slithering out of the shot-through glass window-pane before HOVERING over the landscape. She glared down over her surroundings, raising a hand over her head as if to prepare an attack... but then she paused. Something was wrong.
"No energy...?" Liari muttered, her eyes narrowing. "...Even humans have energy. What is this...? What SHOT me...?"
"MOMMA-TWO! MOMMA-TWOOOOOO!" Terra came running into the room Moire resided, slamming into her and clinging to her waist, rivers of fearful tears rolling down her face now! "Momma got shot in head! Someone SHOT Momma! Her head explode now... Now she gonna go fight guy!"

WC: 400 | TWC: 818 Moire thought that tonight would be a quiet night all to her planning and plotting, but things don't always turn out the way one would think. As her eyes continued to trail the roiling ocean waves outside, the sudden shattering of glass catches the purple majin's attention. Neither Terra or Liari are supposed to be awake at such a late hour usually, and neither would be so clumsy as to break some glass, so what was happening? Her brow was raised as she slowly starts moving to where the noise had come from, at least until she heard the screams of Terra. Moire's eyes widen as she hears the little one scream out 'Momma!' before everything fell to silence again. Her red eyes beamed back towards the area where the glass was shattered, but she knew that she had to check on the other two, they were far too important to let go so carelessly.
Before she made her way to their room, however, Terra bursts into the room Moire was in, tears flooding her eyes as she cries and wraps herself around Moire, babbling on about Liari was shot in the head and how she's going to fight the one who did it. Of course such an attempt on Liari's life would never work, but the thought of someone even attempting to fire at her and put Terra at risk was too much for Moire to keep inside of her. Steam immediately begins to slowly pour out of her pores, her face now contorted with anger before looking down at the little one, questioning, "Did you see where the shot came from, or where the attacker went? We're going to have to keep our distance and let Momma sort this out." As she utters this, her arms reach down and grab hold of Terra before walking out of the room, staying as far away from the bedroom as possible as it seems like it's the spot where the shooter would be aiming at still.
Instead, Moire opts to move to the other end of the house, reaching one of the doors in the back as she slowly opens it up, taking a peak out into the night, seeing if she could spot anything in the distance. With how dark everything was, however, there wasn't much for her to see, though it was eerily quiet out tonight.

Well, that certainly didn't go as planned.
A-1's shot had landed, he was sure of it. The screaming cries of the child's voice was only further confirmation. Except, her energy didn't go down. In fact, if anything it seemed to have gotten more aggressive. He wouldn't dare peek back into the room, as everyone was surely wide awake and might spot him. By feeling only their energies, he could sense the little one heading into another room, joining the third individual that he hadn't seen yet. As for his target, she coming toward him Or at least the window he was currently hiding under. He'd stealthily jump back and make his way around the corner of their domicile to be at what would now be the back of the house to avoid catching her eye.
Once he did so, he'd peek out from behind the wall and see her hovering in the air, seemingly confused. It looked like she hasn't seen him yet, but one thing A-1 did notice was that her face was still intact. There wasn't even a mark. Was his attack not strong enough to pierce her head after all? Maybe the child was overreacting? Or did she have some sort healing ability, like the namekians did? He needed confirmation.
There's only one way to find out.
If he was fast, she might not see him coming.
REAPER ACTIVATION: ADRENALINE BURST
A wave of artificial energy began to flow through A-1's body, supercharging his muscles and adding a stronger layer of protection around his bones and vital areas. It was exactly the kind of power boost he needed to deal with a foe like this. An energy ball formed around his right hand before sharping itself into a blade. He'd dash up into air in a flash, flying STRAIGHT towards Liari from her left side and taking a BIG SWING towards her neck!

Terra had never seen Moire before, not really. Maybe annoyed, maybe short-tempered on the odd occasion Terra's excitement had gotten the better of her... but never STEAMING mad! It... It was kinda scary, even though the little girl knew the anger wasn't meant for her, to see the contortion of her face into one of sheer outrage... to see her eyes go from their normal, gentle calmness... to one of a rumbling hostility. It was like watching the tide recede just before a tsunami.
"Someone shoot at Momma from outside!" Terra affirmed, then shaking her head as Moire asked if she saw the guy! "Was asleep! Momma was too! We no see who it was!" Moire would then decide that it was best if Liari dealt with this herself... Terra nodded this time. She understood... She didn't LIKE IT... but she got it. Liari was, by far, the strongest out of all of them. If there was anyone who could make the bad person go away, it was her! ...She just wished... Terra just wished she was strong enough to help... She HATED IT... but if someone could blow her momma's head off, make her hurt enough to fly into a rage as she had...
"...I only get in the way..." Terra acknowledged glumly. She would squeeze Moire's hand as she took it, following dutifully behind her new momma as they made their way out of the bedroom and to the back door. Maybe to find a way out... Or to spot the attacker...? Either way, staying out of sight and out of the way would probably help her momma the most! Terra peeked out the door as Moire cracked it open, looking left... then right... then up.
"Look...!" Terra whispered, pointing up at Liari!
_________________________________________________________
...The deep blue majin growled angrily, as she stared down at the tropical forest below her, cursing and spitting quietly for her decision to live here! Some tactical geniuses her absorptions had been. They had COMPLETELY OVERLOOKED the idea someone she couldn't sense hiding in the woods around her house! Hell, she couldn't even FLATTEN the area to find them because the people she loved were just a few hundred feet below her! ...She'd kill them too if she tried... or leave them all homeless in the BEST of cases.
"BLAST YOU!" Liari shouted, her aura FLASHING with the last word, BENDING the trees below her as if in a temporary bow of fear! "SHOW YOURSELF, COWARD! YOU WANT TO KILL MY FAMILY!? YOU WANT TO SHOOT ME AND RUN!? COME GET WHAT YOU DESERVE, YOU TWO-BIT SONOFA..." ...Silence. She neither heard... nor felt anything. The majin gritted her teeth, her eyes flaring RED as she jerked her head this way and that, trying to catch ANY kind of movement! WHO WAS THIS GUY, and HOW could he hide his power level so well!? To hurt her, someone had to output a ridiculous amount of energy, and yet this guy managed to FULLY contain his energy!
"I'll kill him..." She decided, her eyes flashing from red... to white. "I don't care who he is or why he did this... I'll kill him."
___________________________________________________________
It was at that moment that Terra saw something... It was the VAGUEST of somethings, almost like a flash of darkness through the trees and in the air... and it almost looked... like a person. ...AND IT WAS SHOOTING TOWARD HER MOMMA!
"MOMMA!" Terra cried out, pointing up at the visage ARCHING through the sky at breakneck speed! "YOUR LEFT!" ___________________________________________________________
"What!?" Liari's gaze snapped down towards her daughter's voice, catching only the end of her warning "Left...?" Suddenly, her skin crawled all along her left side, the corner of her eye having caught some kind of movement! Time seemed to slow down as Liari turned to her left, her wrist jerking to release a small pebble she had tucked under her bracer! In an instant, the rock EXTENDED into a deep-blue-bladed sword, Liari's fingers closing around it's hilt as her eyes locked on her target! She couldn't see much of him, moonlight hitting his back had hidden his front in shadow... Only the cold, souless eyes of... something inhuman staring back at her. Liari hesitated for half a moment, that icy, unnatural look freezing her nerves for that fraction-of-a-moment in time... but it was enough for what the assassin had planned! Liari SWUNG her blade wildly in a backhanded arch, but it was A-1's masterful precision and closeness that allowed him to win this quickdraw! Liari's blade raked harmlessly a quarter-inch over his scalp as his energy-blade SLICED through her neck, Liari's eyes SHOOTING WIDE as the man DASHED past her. At first, she didn't feel anything... Maybe he'd missed? Then... the world flipped end-over-end as her head rolled from her shoulders. As if on impulse, the arm not holding the blade SHOT DOWN and caught the falling head by one of its tentacles, Liari's vision JERKING to an elastic, boinging stop... just as she searing AGONY of an energy-edged blade FLASHED ACROSS HER NECK AND UNDER HER CHIN! Liari HISSED so loud, it was like a dozen gas-grenades going off at once, streams of saliva rolling out from between her teeth and down her chin as the majin's sound of pain blasted relentlessly across the island! And the worst part of it all...
...She still couldn't sense him.
"RRRRRGH!" The majin snarled, ROUGHLY jerking her head BACK UP onto her neck, sloppily SLAPPING it back onto the stump from where it was cut so that it sat at an unnatural angle. ...It looked as if someone had snapped her neck. She grabbed hold of her chin with her free hand and JERKED her head so suddenly, the sickening CRUNCH of simulated vertebrae snapping back into place echoed through the night... At least Liari's head was back on straight. Liari would WHIRL AROUND quickly to see the man... and by now, she was SURE it was a man. Even in the shadows cast by moonlight, she could make out his shape as roughly like a human male... but what perplexed her the most... was that even with his hand ALIGHT with ki... She could not sense it. WHY COULDN'T SHE SENSE HIM!?
"...I would ask who you are..." Liari rumbled before LUNGING after the man, SWINGING her sword at him wildly! "...BUT I HONESTLY DON'T CARE! COME QUIETLY AND DIE!" ______________________________________________________
Terra's face contorted as her complexion faded to a sickening shade of green. She had only done as well as she had with her Momma's HEAD EXPLODING because she woke up moments AFTER her flesh splattered the walls. Seeing her head FLY OFF in the moment it...
"I gonna... I gonna..." Terra mumbled... before her hands SHOT UP to her lips! Suddenly, Terra's cheeks BULGED as she SHOT back in the house, barely finding the bathroom in time before the little pink girl unleashed the full, barely digested contents of dinner RIGHT into the toilet. Terra wasn't just done with dinner, though. It seemed as if EVERY MEAL that day... and probably reaching into the day before, came up all at once. The sounds coming out of the bathroom were almost as terrible as the sight of her mother's beheading outside! By the time she was done... for the most part, tears were flowing down Terra's cheeks in abundance, heavy, brutal sobs STRAIGHT FROM THE GUT reverberated through the enclosed room! ...And somehow, seeing her own mother decapitated wasn't even the worst part. ...It was what her mother was saying. It... It scared her... Terra could taste on her tongue not only bile and acid... but the malice, the rage, the frustration... and how DEEP they all ran. Terra's body trembled not only with the weakness of her... episode, but also fear... fear of her Momma... _______________________________________________________

WC: 526 | TWC: 1,344 Whoever it was that would dare shoot at Liari will suffer the wrath of Moire, she marks her words. Even still, if Liari's on the hunt for the attacker, at the very least it won't last very long. Even with a giant hole blowing a chunk of her head off, Liari was still very much a capable fighter, stronger than almost anyone on this entire planet. Whoever attacked must've been a mere amateur, not knowing what they've gotten themselves into, and she'll make quick work of them. Still, Moire now had a new task: Making sure that Terra remained safe and sound. Though neither of them were able to see the shooter, they knew that they were outside somewhere, and so Moire would keep a close eye on the outdoors. As she took her time looking around, scouting the place to see what's going on, Terra points to Liari.
Moire looks right up at her, seeing her so enraged with the attempted assassination, demanding that the attacker come out to face her as her aura flared up more and more as time went on. She wouldn't dare do anything that could damage the island too badly since this was supposed to be their new base of operations, and it seems like the attacker was taking advantage of that factor. However, a sudden flash of movement caught Moire's attention, and Terra immediately calls out to Liari, warning her about the incoming attack. Immediately Moire raises her hand up, lightning crackling between her fingertips as she looks to see if she can get a shot off, but the target was far too close to Liari at this point. The lightning could chain into Liari, or it could outright miss and only hit the blue majin.
With her hesitation, however, Liari draws out a sword from seemingly nowhere as the two clash against each other. A moment of silence reigns across the night sky until something moved: Liari's head. It fell right off of her neck, though quickly she was able to grab ahold of her. Moire maintained her gaze, seemingly unfazed by seeing the one she loved being decapitated right in front of her, but she knew that she would be fine. She's been through much worse, after all, and she'll likely see more of it in the near future. Terra, on the other hand, was not used to seeing such a gruesome image, and before Moire can try to get a proper shot, her gaze quickly shifts over to the little one, seeing her scatter, running right into the house, looking as if she were about to vomit.
She glances back up at the night sky, seeing Liari try to engage against the assailant before turning back, closing the door and walking over to the bathroom. Inside she found that Terra had already released her stomach's contents, crying. Moire crouches down, places a hand on the little one's back and gently stroking her, hushing her and whispering to her, "Hey... It's alright, Terra, it's alright. She's fine now. Just... Just give her a bit of time to sort this whole thing out, alright?"

High regeneration confirmed.
Remote body manipulation noted.
Bladed Weapon noted.
Effective method of assassination... A work in progress. Luckily, A-1's plan had worked. He slowed his body to a halt and turned back towards the majin. After narrowly avoiding what could've been a powerful blow from Liari's sword, he had managed to decapitate her head. Only problem was that didn't seem to do anything against her. From the brief exchange he had with her, and seeing her reaction, he had already managed to get a lot of information out of her. That said, so far they only made her seem more powerful. If he was going to find a winning strategy, he was going to have to engage her again. This may even turn out to be a prolonged battle. Those other energies he sensed earlier, she had called them her family. Seeing how much she seemed to care about them, he might be able to use that later on if the situation got to dicey and he needed a getaway plan. Until then, he could afford to play around a little bit. It was unlikely that he'd be able to get the drop on her again after this. Considering her battle power, which around twice as much as his own, it was a risky course of action, but he couldn't afford to waste this opportunity. Fortunately, it looked like Liari was in the mood to fight too. Her strikes were fast and powerful, even more than his, but unfocused. Sloppy. Her emotions had taken hold of her, and that allowed A-1 levelheadedness to bail him out of it. Using his superior skill, he was able to parry most of her strikes, knowing that his blade wasn't powerful enough to handle a head on collision against hers. The remaining strikes managed to graze his armor as he tried to narrowly avoid them. This confirmed it. If it wasn't for the majin's rage blinding her, he was almost sure he would've been cheddar cheese. He had to keep her riled up if he was going to make it out of this. Noting her irritation at her punctured head and decapitation. He theorized that severe bodily mutilation and/or brutalization, while fatal to most, were a pet peeve of hers. That being said, since she could control her own body parts from a distance, limb amputation probably would cause more trouble than it was worth. His ki blade dispersed as he went low, barely avoiding what would've been a fatal blow to the face from Liari, finding little use of it if "slicing and dicing" was going to be limited to such a degree. From here, he only had one weapon of choice: These hands. A-1 couldn't afford to hold back here. He unleashed a powerful series of blows to Liari's face, throwing his ENTIRE BODY into each right and left. Hopefully, with enough power, he could knock her into a daze and incite her rage more, creating more potential openings. Due to how malleable she was, bone breaking probably was out of the question. Hell, he wasn't sure if she even had bones. Sheer concussive force was the way to go here. He doubted that it'd be enough to put her down for the count, but it was all he had until he could come up with another idea. Analyzing... WC: 562 TWC: 1503

"Damn it..."
"Blast..."
"Damn...!"
Liari growled as each of her swings cut EVERYTHING but her target! BLAST HIM, this idiot was FAST, able to parry or outright avoid each one of her swings with his own little ki-sword thing. How the hell was he DOING this, even!? Her power should have been MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SMASH HIM INTO DUST! SHE KNEW she was stronger! She KNEW she was faster! HOW was he able to keep pace with her for so long!? Liari ROARED and brought her sword down in spitting strike, aiming to SLICE the fool in half... Only for him to step right behind her swing so that the blade swung harmlessly over his shoulder!
"WHA-" BOOM! A fist SMASHED into Liari's cheek so hard, her sword FLEW from her hand, Liari blinking in surprise at... how hard she was struck. The blow didn't hurt... exactly, but it stunned her nonetheless, another soon SMASHING across the opposite jaw and sending her head SHOOTING the other way! Spittle flew from her lips with each blow, the assassin putting his whole body into each punch, trying to make them HURT as much as he could! Ping-pong, ping-pong did her head jerk about... Until, when the assassin went in for the NEXT punch, his fist would seeming disappear RIGHT as it would have connected with her face!
"Heh..." Liari smirked... as his fist would suddenly appear right next to his rib, aiming to CRACK into his own body! If she managed to surprise him using this tactic, Liari would move to fight back! She would swing her leg around in a vicious arc, aiming to SLAM her knee into his ribs before SHOOTING forward, SLAMMING her forehead into his face! She would then THROW a punch at his face, only for her arm to disappear the moment it would've connected with his face... Only to come down and CRASH into the crown of his skull, sending him DOWNWARD! Whether or not all these blows would connect, Liari would smirk, fading away into cubes before his eyes!
"Not so confident now, are you...?" A voice would whisper next to his ear... before an arm manifested around his throat, pinning him against a... a chest! Liari had manifested behind the android and was trying to hold him hostage!

The moment Moire touched her back, Terra whirled around and buried her face in her chest, wrapping her arms around her tightly!
"Momma..." She mumbled, tears rolling down her cheeks. "...Make 'em stop.... Make 'em stop, momma..."

WC: 405 | TWC: 1,749 As soon as Moire was able to get up to little Terra and try to reassure her, all while putting a hand on her, the pink majin twirls around on the spot and immediately goes in to hug Moire, holding onto her chest tight, crying on her and practically mumbling her words at this point. She was in a panic now, terrified of what was going on, begging Moire to get the two to stop fighting. Moire wraps her own arms around Terra gently before considering her current options. This mysterious assailant, someone who has avoided her senses for so long, was absolutely after Liari for some reason. The attacker knew that others lived in the house given Terra was in the same room and that light was still on elsewhere in the house, so it seems like they had no interest in either Moire nor Terra.
Theoretically, Terra should be safe from any direct attacks from the assailant, but the thought of leaving Terra behind was still a bit of a risk. If there were a place where she could hide, though... "Terra, listen to me," Moire begins, "I'll stop this, alright? What you need to do is find a good place to hide, and don't come out until either Liari or I call for you. This should only take a few minutes at most, alright sweetie?" Her arms begin to unwrap around Terra, the purple majin looking deep into Terra's eyes before standing up. "Stay safe, little one," she requests before turning around and heading straight for the door that leads back outside. She was going to help end this quickly, for everyone's sake. She just hopes that she isn't running too late.
The moment she bursts through the door, Moire looks around to see if she could spot anybody, and sure enough, using her senses, she could feel out Liari's energy, and soon spots her along with the attacker. Immediately she raises her hand up, purple lightning beginning to crackle between her fingertips as she takes aim at him, holding off on firing as Liari was attempting to restrain him at the moment. If she were to hold on to him, it wouldn't do any good to shock both her Love and the assailant, but if they were able to break out and try to flee, it would give her the perfect opportunity to fire off a shot.

What?
CRACK!
An audible grunt, the first noise he made since this battle began, could be heard from A-1's mask, going to hold his side as a reeled back in pain from his own attack! He could feel the ribs in his side crack, barely managing to withstand the force from his punch. Just as he began to process what had just occurred, his thoughts were sharply cut off as Liari SLAMMED her knee into the other side of his ribs! He gasped, feeling the wind knocked out of him. With abilities like hers and power like that, it was easy to see why those in South City had so much trouble taking her down. There was no time to think about that though, as it seemed like the blue majin was just getting started! He managed to raise his arms over his face, crossing them over each other as her head DROVE itself into his forearms! One of A-1's arms was thrown back, not able to handle the full force of her attacks! With his other arm, he aimed to parry the punch thrown his way! Only... it vanished! WHAM! The android found himself barreling downwards toward the ground! As he continued to look up at her as she faded away... only for an arm to tighten itself around his neck and pin him against her! He knew she was fast... faster than him if he had to guess, but not fast enough that he wouldn't be able to see her travel speed. This was something else. A-1 remained restrained, but more so to give himself a chance to breathe before attempting to resume. Unfortunately, though, it looked like he didn't have much time. That third energy he felt earlier? It was on the move, and it was... Another majin. Great. This one was purple and, as far as A-1 could tell, far weaker than Liari was. She was getting herself involved it seemed, charging up a blast of her own. His brain began working, trying to recall everything that had just happened. Her change in demeanor from being rageful to cocky, the shift in her precision and skill in that contradicted her pitiful swordsmanship earlier. Geometric movement over midrange distances. Nigh-instantaneous. Uncharacteristically fast for the difference in our battle power. Current hypothesis: Teleportation.
Attack redirection? Current method unknown.
Target leans heavily into attacks that take advantage of its elasticity and malleability. Unpredictability increased.
True combat experience seems to rear its head when it feels composed. Composure seems to be linked to being in a favorable position. Potential Weakness: Stress.
The second opponent is of the same species. Presumably has the same level of body modification and regeneration as this one. Due to difficulty differentiating between learned techniques and racial abilities, I will assume they share the same moveset. From the current situation he was in, there seemed to be only one way he could take back control. The third energy signature, the child, was now left unguarded. Given how panicked Liari was earlier, A-1 knew this was his best course of action if he wanted to take back control of the conflict. Plus, if he could get close enough, it was unlikely they'd attack him and risk injuring her. That being said, to do that, he had to get himself out of this hold first, and THEN deal with the second majin that was ready to blast him to kingdom come. Given that the blue majin was stronger than him, it was going to take a lot to escape. Luckily, he was gifted with Artificial Ki. He couldn't get tired and had a limitless supply of energy. He had no problem flexing a little. After was seemed like about 30 seconds being held by Liari, A-1 suddenly pointed one of his ground and let out his most powerful attack yet: AURORA ALPHA FLARE A LOUD and BRIGHT flash engulfed both Liari and A-1, combusting the ground beneath them and resulting in a MASSIVE explosion! The force would throw both fighters away from where they stood. There was no way that A-1 managed to kill his target, but at the very least it might've actually gotten her off of him. Smoke filled the blast radius, which favored A-1 given his inability to be detected by the standard Ki Sense ability. Knowing it wouldn't be long before he was found, he had to make the best of his opportunity. He flew up and out of the smoke, looking down at the purple majin, who was now below him. The house containing the child was behind her, perfect. He attempted to fly straight down towards the house, crashing through the roof into the room where Terra would be before trying to tackle her! "Nothing to say, huh...?" Liari grunted, slowly twisting and constricting around the android like a boa around its prey. He wasn't going to get away from her now, not with HIS pidly strength! He had been evasive up until now, disguising his power while still being able to use ALL OF IT somehow. That was his strength... and now it was gone. He was caught, a fly in a trap. And now he was going to get SQUEEZED for every drop of power he...
...Hm...? Liari caught sight of Moire way down below, she having raised her hand up, her fingers crackling with lightning! She seemed all but ready to attack but she... didn't...? What was stopping her? Could it have been... Liari herself...?
"No need to hold back, dear!" Liari called with a smirk! "ZAP HIM! I'm MORE than strong enough to bare it!" It'd be like the electric-chair for this punk, his synapses and nerves being rocked by billions of magically-simulated volts! She didn't care WHO or WHAT he was... at THIS level of power, it'd riddle him down to the core with overwhelming magical power! Liari smirked, waiting for Moire's shockwave to wash over them both, to feel the little man char and crackle in her grip...
...She got blown up instead.
The inability for Liari to sense the energy of the mysterious stranger had caught Liari lacking once again, her overconfidence giving the strange assassin the time he had needed to come up with a countermeasure! SUDDENLY, the man began to GLOW as energy SHINED out from within, FLASHING outward in a brilliant burst that consumed them both at once! Liari CRIED out in surprise as her body was ROCKED with more power than she'd estimated the man capable of, the two consumed in a CLOUD of black smoke! ...Liari hovered within, half her face, both her arms, and most of her front mangled and melting, the twisted shape of a humanoid twitching and jerking, what remained of her face contorted in a snarl of outrage... and pain.
"You slippery little..." Liari choked out, her body quickly reshaping itself. "...Run... all you... want... I'll... kill you..." Once her body perfectly reformed, Liari took in a DEEEEEP breath, her chest SWELLING like the throat-pouch of a bullfrog before BLOWING it the massive smoke-cloud around them away, the gust of her breath nearly scalping the trees below as well as it RUSHED over the horizon! It was then that she caught sight of the fleeing assassin, he-
...No... He wasn't fleeing... He was flying at her house...? That bastard was going to fly right into it and destroy it!? Destroy it... with... Terra... insid- Liari's eyes shot wide.
"MOIRE! STOP HIM!" Liari screamed, SHOOTING after the stranger! In her haste, it didn't occur to her to teleport. In her panic, she gave the man his best chance at attacking her child! Her ONLY child! Her precious baby Terra! In desperation, Liari cocked back her arms and SHOT them out like a pair of ropes, hoping to SNAP around him and stop his flight... but with how close he was to the house already and with Liari's superior power, even she was uncertain if she'd make it in time!
"NO! GET BACK HERE! FIGHT ME, YOU COWARD!" Liari howled, her voice PITCHING with desperation! "I'M YOUR TARGET! LEAVE THEM ALONE!"

WC: 414 | TWC: 2,163 With Liari keeping the assailant in place, Moire was ready to take her shot, though once again, the lightning would hit both her target as well as Liari given how the two are in contact with each other. She debated switching to regular ki blasts when she hears her love reassure Moire, mentioning how she can handle the electricity and tells her to just zap away. Moire knows that Liari could handle it, but she didn't know if she would appreciate something like that. If Liari was aware of the consequences and tells her to do it anyway, however, then who is she to stall any longer? Moire raises her hand up, and is about to fling her lightning bolt right at the two, when... There was that damn sudden explosion.
Moire was immediately blown back a bit by the sudden explosion, forced to dispel her lightning and cover her face as she is pushed back several feet from the sheer force. She could hear the windows of the house shattering from such a boom, the majin gritting her teeth as she tries to maintain her footing on the ground. She never saw such a technique from Liari, and it absolutely wasn't planned as she was about to shock the two, so this fighter just... Blew themself up? Moire looks around to see what she could find, only looking up at the smoke cloud lingering above. She could feel Liari was still within the cloud, so she was still fine, which was a great relief. Of course, since she couldn't feel out the attacker in the first place, it was quite difficult to find out where he was.
Liari then begins screaming down at Moire, shouting that she must stop him before seeing her stretch her arms forward towards... the house. Was that bastard inside? Was he going for Terra?! In her fury, Moire immediately begins to barrel through the house, crashing through the walls to get to the room Terra was in as fast as possible. The house didn't matter if Terra was gone, as she was the one who ultimately mattered in this situation. Eventually she breaks into the room through the wall, standing directly right in front of the assailant, her body now a bit tattered from having to crash through several walls of the building, but now here she stood, ready to take on the assailant. The question was... Could she even handle something like this?
