It was calm and serene on the island where Master Roshi resided. He had been taking in students a lot as of recently and now was no exception. The old and wise master thought that he was finally going to have time to relax (or honestly catch up on some of his lewd magazines) for a bit, but that wasn't in the cards today as he felt a power level approaching his island, as the old man couldn't help but softly sigh as he rose from his chair.
"Alright, alright, just who decided to show up now- Oh my!!!" Roshi exclaimed as he watched the woman in question come into view over the horizon. "Oh goodie me! Another nice lookin' female who's got more than just looks going for her! Heeheehee!!!" Roshi laughed.
Opherla had gotten information from Tanya about this Master Roshi guy during the one training session they had, where the two of them vowed to become rivals to one another. Opherla was all for that, considering the fact she was more than willing to have someone to aspire to as a training partner. She could be seen munching on a cookie, because she had just come back from talking with Callion about being accepted into the new era of Z Fighters, and while that was good and all, Opherla had hoped to be back home soon to actually get something proper to eat! Well, because she couldn't do that, she had to settle for a classic pick-me up snack she loved, a wholesome, well made, chocolate chip cookie. She finished munching the cookie down and finished swallowing as she finally approached the island, where she would do an acrobatic maneuver in the air and stylishly land for Master Roshi to see in full, as she winked at Roshi.
"How's that for a future student's entrance?" Opherla asked Roshi with a giggle as she smiled.
Roshi was tempted to compliment the girl on her looks as opposed to her stylish landing, but he caught himself and cleared his throat. "I must say, out of all my students, you're as dramatic as most of them with an entrance, though, you're a far cry from being as impressive on the surface as my first students, or even Callion."
"Callion!?" Opherla exclaimed. So Callion trained under Roshi too!? Opherla would have never believed it! Well, in any case, she was here for training from this old geezer, she just hoped Tanya was on to something with telling Opherla about this guy, and that she wasn't just here to get ogled at for her woman parts as she saw Roshi doing often to her. "Well, that's a small surprise. I never expected you had the manner about you to train Callion."
"What do you-? Oh, you mean you noticed." Roshi chuckled as he realized Opherla caught on to his gawking. "Well, can you blame an old geezer like me? You got some nice goods there, girly!"
"Oh, I get it, fully, but I'm not here to be viewed as a sex object, I'm not even of legal age, perv." Opherla blatantly stated as Roshi nearly jumped out of his sandals at hearing that.
"You didn't have to be so blunt about it, jeez!" Roshi exclaimed as he soon composed himself. "Ahem Very well then, young girl, what did you come to this old geezer for?"
"The name's Opherla, sorry I didn't lead with that, and I've come for some training, Master Roshi." Opherla explained with a smile.
"Training, you say? Well, I hate to say it, but looking at you and how well you seem to be coming along on your own, I don't know what I could teach you..." Roshi remarked before he examined Opherla closer. "However... I could teach you one of my school's unique techniques. The Kamehameha."
"Kamehameha...? I've only heard about that move, I just thought it was made up!" Opherla exclaimed.
"Nope! It's as real as your front door's doorknob! You wanna learn it?" Roshi asked.
"Absolutely!" Opherla said with a bright smile.
"Great. Take some time to show me what you got. I'll go from there to see if you're ready to learn it or not. After that I want you to go out and train, train super hard at that. You need to be at your strongest if my fears of what evils are lurking around this world are true." Roshi told Opherla.
"Okay, I will. What do you want me to do to start?" Opherla asked.
"Start by showing me what kind of ability you have. I wanna see your good loo- I-I mean your form with all of your attacks and techniques." Roshi would tell Opherla.
"Okay, sure thing." Opherla nodded before spending the next few minutes showing Roshi just what she had, from her basic abilities and stances to her current variety of offensive and defensive techniques, to show him everything she could do at this moment, as she stopped and looked to Roshi. "Well? How did I do?"
"Mhm. Again, you're a very beautiful- I mean, successful warrior for how far you've come just on your own. I'm impressed." Roshi said with a firm nod. "I think I can teach you the Kamehameha. Start training your power up a bit then come see me next week, and I'll teach you how to do the Kamehameha." Roshi said with a small smile on his face.
"SWEET!!!" Opherla fist pumped upon hearing this. "Thank you so much, Master Roshi! I'll get started with my training right away!" Opherla said with a bright smile as she soon took off to start training back in her Gravitron. She couldn't contain her excitement! She was learning under the same master that Callion had been taught under! Opherla was sure she was going on the right path now, seeking someone like Roshi, and mark her words, she would be ready to learn the Kamehameha! She was going to learn it, and master it to the best of her ability!
