The Silver Veins is a secret society that initially pitted themselves as the Red Ribbon. As Octavia learned the corporation's true intentions as a daughter of one of Red Ribbon's lead engineers, she created the Silver Veins and recruited those who were suspicious and conspired against the company. It was kept secret from the public to not raise any alarms from the Red Ribbon, the Earth Defense Agency, and even the United Syndicate of Defense.

With Namek being under the PTO's control, Vegeta on the brink of a civil war, and Earth possibly undergoing android domination, it was clear that the USD were deemed unfit and incompetent in protecting the universe. The Silver Veins saw an opportunity to make a name for themselves in becoming the new protectors of the universe and reshaping the world into a utopia... a utopia where crime became extinct, the rich abolished, corrupted figures and criminals alike would cease to exist, everyone held the same opinion. There was only one way to do this:

Enslave the universe and make them submit to the venerated lifestyle the Silver Veins can offer.

Such goals had dire costs, but knowing that the faction could be the universe's saviors was more than enough to know that the risks were worth it. Still a secret society and only known to individuals brought into the faction by recruiters or Octavia herself, their numbers grow everyday. It wouldn't take long before the group goes public, albeit merely taking baby steps prior to revealing their true intentions.

the five articles

1) One shall not discuss the faction amongst the public or those outside of the clan.

2) One shall not disrespect the higher ranks of the clan, especially Madam Blue.

[break][break]

3) One shall obey any command given by higher ranks at all costs and respect the chain of command.

4) One shall always aid the weak and poor in need on the expense of the rich and privileged.

5) One shall not commit heinous crimes while under the Silver Veins.

Final Note: Failure to follow this rule may result in punishments ranging from petty grunt work, banishment, or even execution.

Ranks

Ranks are labelled in minerals and metals from most important to least important.

Diamond (1/1): Diamond is reserved for the leader of the Silver Veins. Their word is law and have full control over the faction.

Pearl (0/2): The Pearl Ranks are essentially the second and third in commands behind the Diamond. In the event that the Diamond is unable to make certain decisions whether they're mentally incapable for whatever reason or are absent, Pearl members may make them instead and lead in the absence of the Diamond.

Opal (0/5): The Elite and what those underneath this rank strive to be. Whether it's by power or their strong reputation within the faction, they're role models and examples of what Silver Veins represent. They work very closely with the Diamond and Pearl ranks.

Pyrite (0/15): Not exactly the Elite, but the level is somewhat there. Although they may not work as close with the Diamond, they still interact with the Pearl ranks and indirectly with the Diamond via Pearl ranks.

Ruby (0/infinite): The grunts of the faction.
